С самого детства я считала себя некрасивой. Так уж сложились обстоятельства, что у меня было достаточно оснований для этого. На протяжении всей жизни я подвергалась буллингу и насмешкам в сторону своей внешности, что зародило во мне огромный и неубиваемый комлекс, с которым я живу и по сей день.

Я, как и многие девушки, всегда считала, что не заслуживаю внимания парней, но все изменится, если изменюсь я. Если я избавлюсь от тех черт, из-за которых не люблю себя. Если я стану красивее.

Но один человек разом перечеркнул все эти предрассудки. Заставил меня относиться к себе и своей внешности совершенно иначе. Он показал мне, что любовь не нужно заслуживать, и что я достойна ее, несмотря на все мои косплексы. Каждый день он говорит мне, что я самая красивая девушка на свете. Каждый день он дарит мне всю свою любовь, заботу и внимание. Каждый день я просыпаюсь самой счастливой.

И только сейчас я поняла, что любовь дейсивительно не измеряется в красоте. Что внешность - это совершенно не главное. Всякий раз, когда мне кто-либо говорили об этом, я лишь твердила, что ему легко говорить, ведь он красивый, в отличие от меня. Сейчас же я понимаю, что это действительно так. Что человек спсобен по-настоящему полюбить далеко не за внешнюю красоту и привлекательность, а за нечто большее. То, чего не увидишь глазами. И я буду убеждаться в этом еще очень и очень долго. Надеюсь...))

Просто помните, что есть на этом свете человек, который полюбит Вас независимо от того, как вы выглядите и какие комплексы преследуют вас уже многие годы. Он примет вас со всеми вашими недостатками и изъянами.

И да, внешность - не главное.

this idea has been sitting in my head for a long time and, finally, i was able to realise it. not the best gif, but i tried. :,)

it doesn't look very good and don't mind the poor colours and shading. this was the first time i made shadows in that app (and i hope the quality is okay--) , so this is, so to speak, a test of the pen. :p

🌷 12.04.2024 // I studied the whole day, mostly biochemistry and pharmacology. My parents came back from their trip so I'll have to leave their house and the beautiful flowers of the garden :(( (not to mention the fact that within the few hours after their arrival they had already sucked all my energy and I'm more exhausted than I've ever been this week)

Anyway, tomorrow I have to work in the pharmacy and I hope it will go well! I'll also try to go to the library during my lunch and I'll show some books here (so I'll be motivated to actually do it ahah).

(I write it here so I'll have to actually do it but I reaaally need to talk to my "boss" to tell her I can work more when I'm on vacation!!! I forgot to do it for two whole weeks and I can't forget one more :(( )

And so it begins. During a recent appearance on Fox News, House Speaker Mike Johnson confirmed he was in favor of defunding PBS (along with Planned Parenthood) as preparations for Donald Trump’s second presidency and a fully Republican-controlled Congress begin.

During Trump’s first administration, he repeatedly proposed federal budgets calling for the elimination of government-funded arts programs, including the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The latter provides funding for PBS, NPR, and other public TV and radio outlets. At the time, these proposals stalled in Congress — even when Republicans held both chambers. Just this summer, however, the House Appropriations Committee went as far as proposing zero funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting effective in 2027. It’s well worth pointing out that funding for national arts endowments doesn’t even make up a full percentage point of the federal budget. Of the $6.75 trillion spent in the fiscal year 2024, the NEA and NEH each received $207 million. Meanwhile, the CPC received $535 million. That amounts to 0.003% each for the NEA and NEH and 0.008% for the CPC. Meanwhile, the 2024 federal budget provided $824.3 billion to the Department of Defense, or roughly 12%.

Appearing on Wednesday’s edition of The Story With Martha MacCallum on Fox “News”, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) endorses the defunding of NPR, PBS, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Planned Parenthood.

Speaker Johnson’s call to defund NPR, PBS, and Planned Parenthood are clinically insane ideas.
