They can walk under the stare of others Their shoulders back, heads held high I wonder if they cry themselves to sleep at night. They can laugh without holding back Their happiness is one I can only dream about Could they be the same persons at 3 am? I envy their freedom The liberation in the way the move The way they live The contentment in their faces How they can go out How they fear none When I can't even leave my shadows And think I could not trust no one

February Journal Challenge, Day 14 - How can we spread love better?

End all the war in the world. Seriously, this would be the greatest thing ever. But, knowing humans, this is probably very unrealistic.

I think we can all achieve spreading some more love, if we are simply kind to each other. I have a hard time doing this myself, but I’m getting better (slowly!). Just remember that every person has their own story and has gone through their own hardships, so try not to judge to easily. Listen. Listen carefully.

Prompt- How do we spread love better

We can honestly spread love better by teaching our children how to love, and how to understand another human being. Empathy! Which is not feeling bad or sad for another but recognizing the struggle that another person is going through and being there for them. Not to fix anything but to let them know you’re there as a support. RaNt🙇🏻‍♀️ Less social media posts of flowers and dinner plates… this just seems like such a ploy…A way to get others to believe in this perfect love. Free pass to those of you who have found a new love. If you are totally smitten with someone and enthralled by the novelty of it all. But if you’ve been married or in a long-lasting relationship just stop . By this point you know that Love is not perfect, love takes lots of work, lots of waiting, lots of patients …you can’t take a picture of that you can’t frame it perfectly. So stop showing me your flowers and food…I don’t buy it 🖤

Feb 7, 2017: what do you daydream about?

Serving coffees with a smile

Talking to the patrons

Maybe even baking

For my own coffeeshop

Sleeping under a glass den

With bookshelves lining up my walls

On a rainy summer day

Cuddling with a cup of hot cocoa

His figure, a quiet silhouette in the shadows Sleeping soundly right beside me

Watching his eyelids flutter

And kissing every mole on his lovely face

His laughter filling up the space

The littlest space there is between us

As we study each other's features

Teary at the moment's sheer perfection

My future

With him

He whom I haven't met yet

But will complete my life

February Journal Challenge, Day 7 - What do you daydream about?

Something different every day. At the moment, it is just having a job again and being able to stay in my flat as well as pay off all my debts until the end of the year. 

In general, of being a writer and making a living off it. The good thing is that I am finally working on this and not only daydreaming about it anymore. 

Other than that I am just daydreaming about being completely happy one day and having a family. The small things that make life beautiful.
