It's mostly my interpretation on it, so accuracy may vary. Otherwise tho, I did my best to generally match it's color-scheme and anatomy.

No, no - from an avid and avowed lifelong 2D animation lover - what you miss is stylization.

Something animated to be "hyperrealist" isn't appealing to me anymore because it all starts to look very... samey. It'll age.

But if you have a proper sense of your style...

So here I managed to find my 1st ever attempt at making a Skuther in 3D Spore, back in 2011.

And here's my 2023 Skuther (which you may already have seen from a previous post of mine)

And then the original 2D Skuther from Spore Creatures DS

I guess the point I'm getting at here is, never give up on creating, or drawing, painting, sculpting, etc., because even if your end product isn't great now, it won't be any better later if you just give up all together.

And sometimes, you just don't have the necessary materials available to make what you envisioned. I was only really able to make this 2023 Skuther thanks to a number of mods that had only just released this year.

If there's anything else I'd like to say about Spore & making creatures, it would be:

If it doesn't look like what you wanted it to, make another, and another, and another, until you have a satisfactory animal, building, vehicle, etc.

If you can't make it now, try again later

And please, for the love of Spode, have fun with it.
