The thing I love most about plane crashes is watching the different ways something could go wrong, whether by human error (or even humans doing it on purpose or being irresponsible), faulty planes, or a disregard to safety rules, and how something so simple sometimes could cause such catastrophic consequences and then later how to prevent or mitigate such things so it could never happen again or at least have a way to prevent so many loses if they did

Jon is an incompetent history teacher and the class love him cause he's so bad at hiding his incompetence that it comes off as funny and if they ask the right questions about Napoleon you can derail the whole lesson. They do hate him sometimes though because all he'll ever do is make them take notes from the textbook. No variety in that man. He shows up with a briefcase, looking impeccable in a 3 piece suit and then scatters pieces of paper all over his desk and clutches his hair in frustration before getting to work on said papers and just about remembers to tell the class to take notes from page 355 to 370. They call him sir and he jumps like he's forgotten he's in a classroom full of people. He occasionally glances over at Ms James and Mr Stoker's classes and his frown gets incrementally deeper. His class grumbles that they seem to be having a lot more fun than they are. There are numerous bets about when Ms James and Mr Stoker will get together, although a large number think they're already together.

Every lesson, Mr Blackwood knocks on the door, offering Mr Sims tea. He seems to visibly tense when seeing him and then just as visibly relax upon drinking this cup of tea. A couple of the students don't like how Mr Sims dismisses him with a nod and never a thank you and have formed somewhat of a Mr Blackwood Support Club. Nobody is quite sure what Mr Blackwood does but he's usually either at the printer with a grimace, being shouted at by Mr Sims or making tea. He'll always smile at you when you walk past, no matter which of the three he is doing. One day a student walks in on them making out. They back away as quickly as possible and try to scrub their eyes out. They don't tell a soul because however scary Mr Sims could be, all he could really do was shout, but Mr Blackwood could make your life a whole lot worse. Never again would the printer work for you and you'd never get a good cup of tea ever again.

I could SWEAR to you I clicked "EDIT CHAPTER" instead of "NEW CHAPTER" in order to correct the mistake, which caused all formatting choices to vanish (be it the cursives or the scene break lines). And I just KNOW that I did because I selected the ENTIRE content of the chapter in Rich Text, after the fact, and pasted the formatted one atop it!

aaand thats about it for official news? The ironically horrific death of expdte Sebastián Piñera has overcome all news channels. He was certainly a character, believe me.
