Now you're in your apartment five months later watching some shitty rom-com, with your roommate Paris.

"Oh shit, got a game on right now." Paris used the remote to turn on the game. "He isn't really the best looking of guys though." She showed you her phone.

You nodded and put your focus on the tv, as if the camera man knew telepathically about your plan and the camera panned to the man of the hour.

You dropped your spoon in your bowl, completely memerized.

"I retract my last statement," Paris mumbles. "You clearly find him attractive."

"He's so sexy." You whispered. "I need that, need him."

"Okay then send a dm or go to a game." Paris suggested.

And you did exactly that, you dmed him saying he was cute and to your shock he actually responded(after the game of course)

You listened to Paris and two weeks later, you and Quinn met up and went on a date.

You two got along pretty well, he told you how much he values his family and that he would do almost anything for them.

You were pretty much the same, you also went on about Paris and how he would love her.

Three months have gone by and the two of you were going swell, you couldn't be more happier.

Quinn was driving you home after another date, a hand on your thigh as he drove. You looked out the window and hummed to the song playing on the radio.

"This is really nice." You turned to look at him with a smile. "I had a nice time tonight."

Quinn mimicked your smile as he stopped infront of your apartment building. "I had a nice time too."

You nodded. "Well goodnight Quinn, see you soon."

You were about to get out of the car when Quinn placed his hand on your wrist.

"Before you go, I wanna ask you something." Quinn spoke softly. "I like you, I like you a lot Y/n... I was just wondering if- if you want things to be official, for me to be your boyfriend?"

Quinn looked at you as he tried his best to read your facial expressions, hoping to ease his nerves.

What he didn't expect however was for your lips to meet his in a soft kiss, you caressed his face. His body going still.

You broke away with a soft smile. "I would love that."

Quinn nervously chuckled at your words. "Yeah, that's-" He ran his fingers through his hair. "That's good, makes me very happy you said yes."

"You haven't done anything for me to say no." You teased.

Quinn chuckled and nodded. "That's true, text me when you get inside?"

Quinn knew it then as he saw your figure go further away, you were it for him. And the obvious, he was in love with you.

What do I even say?! Well I gotta say something, because it's been over a month since I hit this milestone, and I finally got all other ideas finished.

SO! Let's start with saying that I am incredibly and forever grateful and lucky that this has happened to me and that I get to do this online and that so many people enjoy my work. I've always been an outsider looking in, always the spectator, and never the performer. For so long, I have dreamed of finally being the person on the other side of the screen, making countless people smile and maybe even brighten up their day just a little bit. It feels like I've only just started making content on Tumblr SINCE LAST AUGUST, and I'm already having to write grandiose thank-you letters!

On a more serious note, I had been going through a rough time for the past few months, just a little after I started Tumblr. I had just transferred to a new school, and have had to leave all my friends behind for a second time. The transition period was hard, and I had never felt so lonely in a long while, but coming back online to see you interacting with my blog always brightened up my day. I've come to learn and accept that sometimes, online communities can be just as good as in-person communities, though it did take some getting used to!

Speaking of grandiose thank-you letters, let's get on to acknowledging some VIPs!

First, thank you everyone that has decided to hit the follow button, and for giving me a chance! It really feels validating, and motivated to continue working on and posting my story!

Also, I would like to thank God for gifting me with artistic talent and the drive to hone it at the tender age of five. How do you do it

Start by being a good community member and neighbour, and the friendship follows. Fandom is about community. Artist, fic writers, memers, lore nerds, etc, are all here to share and interact. If you create, I'm always open for a tag to reblog.

Drop into their inboxes; "hi, so I saw your art and it made me think about xyz" or "I saw you like this character and have you thought about--". Honest. It works. We're all feral for the same stuff.

Oliv is really into Makarov rn, T has written some amazing Ghoap horror recently, Nekro's art is just hrrrg but also he's into Minecraft atm, Gomz is busy with exams but her AUs are so cute, go bother Juju for some Russian lore because their thoughts are So Good, Annie and Star are into lifting and generally very sweet peeps (Star has fics on my list), Lia is an absolute music encyclopedia, Mikey is writing his first fic, etc, etc. It takes time and investment, but you'll get there. :3 Nikprice Army are all cute as fuck and an excellent place to start.

(I've been a bit more active today because my boss sent me home sick. You know it's bad when The Welshman is like, "you're on cover, go home".)

So, I got into Rain World. Coincidentally, at a similar time as this development started, I was diagnosed with autism. So now I have an entire Rain World AU and all of my own designs and visions and everything I see and do and play is Rain World, Rain World, RAIN WORLD. Barely used Reddit account? Now I'm top 10% commenter on r/rainworld (psst, u/Vynthos over there). Tumblr? Just now made an account just to get that infuriating popup off while scrolling through Rain World content. My best friend? Royally annoyed with every connection I make to outside material being connected to Rain World. Art? The techniques and brushes aren't consistent, but by the Void is the content: RAIN WORLD.

And you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Because you know what Rain World did? It cut into what was then positively identified as autistic burnout like a ray of sunshine. The constant rain finally subsided, the clouds clearing, my hands and head finally finding the ability to draw once again after years and years of being unable to do more than draw dragons or draw and erase three weird lines on a canvas over and over.

So, in this post are all of my so far somewhat solidified iterator headcanons. SRS is on the most shaky end of "somewhat solidified" simply because I envision them with a very specific look that is rather unique and difficult to pin down. I have ideas for Chasing Wind and Unparalleled Innocence, but I've just yet to draw them since my art style hasn't quite yet been pinned down.

No Significant Harassment was the first iterator I got attached to as well as drew. I love the fact that he is such a little memer goblin, and I absolutely LOVE characterising him as the type to switch between incessant teasing and jokes to passionate and competent explanations completely seamlessly. He's a biologist by choice. What did he do beforehand? No, what did YOU do? Why are you so curious about me, hmm?~ Deflection is his de facto response to personal questions. I will likely elaborate on why in the future.

So, Seven Red Suns is... interesting, to say the least. By far, I've drawn them the most simply because I can never get their shape quite right. I have always envisioned them with a triangular motif, just as I (and many others, apparently) envision NSH to be square/rectangular. Suns to me always came off as somewhat socially and emotionally awkward while all at once exuding a particular sense of regality and elegance, and I felt like a quirky, lanky design would fit that characterisation. Also, bugerators,,,

Here is an insight into the thought process behind their design. I number my maiden sketchups on one of my sketch canvases in order to show the progression of ideas and iterations both to myself and for people like you, who see these outside of their original context. I actually honour this process by giving this same habit to SRS! They colour their notes based on the time between the beginning and end to show their own progression. This type of thing also has the side effect of projecting my AuDHD on all of them, but shh...

Five Pebbles is on his way to being solidified. Again, bugerators, but in a different direction. I characterise him as an angsty teen, of course, as he's quite young, but also quite sharp and intelligent once he's . I'm keeping his design very simple and rather game accurate. In fact, now that you've seen my Five Pebbles, you've basically seen my CW and UI, as the three of them have the exact same proportions. Why? I'll elaborate once I draw refs for the three of them.

Looks to the Moon has one of the most solidified yet least drawn designs of all (other than UI). I love her so much! She's super expressive! There is definite inspiration from FlightDrawz on YouTube, simply because I love how much these chunky antennae make her look so friend-shaped and soft while still commanding some definite authority. Again, bugerator, but,,,

And then there's her. She looks familiar, doesn't she?

No, but seriously, out of all of the quirkily shaped iterators, Sliver of Straw might be my favourite when it comes to design. Pentagons lend extremely well to body shape! And those "earrings" are absolutely adorable~

This AU, of course, revolves heavily around her. Know that I have completely developed exactly what happened to her, step by step. And guess what? You'll get to find out just as the local group finds out. ;)

I get to quench my autistic urges now that impostor syndrome's infamous "StOp AcTiNg AuTiStiC yOu'Re NoT aUtiStiC" line has no leg to stand on, so now I have pages and pages of lore written down. Once I get a good feel for Tumblr (and if Tumblr is as interested in my silly little AU as some peeps in r/rainworld), then I'll start loredumping and solidifying my takes on these silly little depressed robots in a dying world.

They might have been a victim of such attacks, had abusive people like these in the workplace who might have made rumours about them. "If you gave me a chance I'll take it, its a shot in the dark but I'll make it". Oh my gosh this person understands the suffering of being in a miserable state so they help others through their disparity so they are a sort of a Vigilante maybe or may have been or they could be in the [process] a secret process of disproving these claims made against them. So I am literally getting an officer, maybe a fake officer for some of you. Idk but Iam also getting UMK Korea, Universal Music Group Korea, but I also channeled North Korea, so maybe some of you or they might be immigrants who have now settled and found work in South Korean Music Industry, or a part of movie industry. Doesn't mean one of those baseline jobs, seems something where they/you could be laying off people. They could be the one who built the foundations of their company, they could be lying to you about their job or the placeholding they might have in their company for a very very long time and might come off as a total stranger or fake police officer at the start maybe. Invasion of privacy? a threat? A very clean and hygienic energy, They do not like boundaries, are reckless, prone to accidents maybe, but are calm and collected about it, so yeah hard to connect with as they can be a Stray, like literally an orphan or someone who works with Stray Kids from JYP entertainment (just guessing cause UMK came through). So it can be hard to connect with them. Ok this is a very straightforward hyper independent person who doesn't likes being helped by others, their confidence or light literally dims when someone tries to help them, as they seem to associate it with their incapability. Their masculine energy is stronggggg!!!! Their socio-economic and cultural background might different than yours, maybe a little unpopular. I'm also hearing their previous person or relationship might have given them a draft or some public notice shaming them for their culture. "Culture vulture" might be term they were shamed with as a kid maybe. Their biggest insecurity is their culture and their ancestory if so I may say that they aren't locked in to their culture and it hurts them to be like this. As a kid they used to be fat-shamed as Bao Bao, Dumplings, Samosa, Petu Raaj (Chubby King), Phatty. I think as a grown up it hurts them a lot. I think they might meet you while they are getting over their ex and might tempt you for becoming their rebound.

They might have a child from their prev marriage. While they might be onto that rebound, don't worry they will tell you the truth, it maybe a reunion to some of you, you might know them from before somewhere and might remember them. They might not know that though. And I think once communication starts its a rollercoaster ride for both of you.

queen of the bau. no-one can out-do her at her job, the way she brings light to the show and has a very infectious personality makes her very relatable. me and her are locked in and she is the ultimate bau girly for me.

3. Derek Morgan

babygirl. peak laughs when hes on my screen, besides his wit he also carries the teams burdens and is such an amazing representation of true masculinity. I just love him and everything he does, he's overall just a solid guy and has my heart invested.

4. Aaron Hotchner

hotch. him as unit chief will always be my favorite era of the bau. he brings a gentle father figure to the team and his family storyline always has me sobbing. I just need him to be happy and when he smiles I feel victory which is rare.

5. Emily Prentiss

its hard to choose between rossi and gideon. the onlt reason rossi is a little lower is because im never really that invested in rossi's storylines. just dont feel connected to him. but he's lowkey hilarious and is such a nice old papa.

part of me hated the fact he replaced morgan... but I forgove him because he has such cutie energy. I love the gentleness he brings to the team and is always looking out for everyone. and he has a dog.

alex was never too entertaining but she felt real. I ranked her lower because she wasnt around long enough to fully influence me. but the way she helped spencer and was a great asset to the team makes me feel love towards her.

sorry elle stans. I just dont think she was that cool imo. I get it and I respect her and her sharp wit and sense of justice. but she wasnt around very long and didnt have the same emotional grip on me as the rest of the team. but she is high here because of the respect I have and the fact she was memerable and a girlboss.

not much to say. I was never super invested in anything she was apart of, shes a good profiler and a decent friend to the team but she just never became more like I hoped she would. she is awesome tho.

really dont remember much about her, just that she was pregnant and talked to spencer lots? she was quite nice but didnt add much to the team and was js kinda there. not much character development.

13. Stephen Walker

r.i.p bro. again wasnt in the show long enough, he was a decent guy who helped the team when needed but we never got much about him. then he died.

14. Ashley Seaver

this genre of characters always drive me crazy. I didnt like the weird pick me behaviours and the way she went about the team. I naver hated her but I would have a slight scowel when she was on the screen.

15. Jennifer Jareau

ok dont come at me... I know people love jj and I have tried on my life to like her. but I just cant. she cringes me out and all her decisions are so stupid, her storylines make no logical sense to me and ive never really felt that bad for her (other then her sister and stuff) I just dont see the appeal.

Jax the Magician

Everyone finds Jax to be very...Suspicious. There's too many weird things about him. All that weirdness lead people to believe that he is an NPC.

And I don't agree with this. That guy is definitely human. His awareness of pop culture ( the Breaking bad ref, mangas, jokingly the breaking of 4th wall, the GOD DAMN Clinton/Monica joke...He is a nerd and potentially a memer.). His genuine surprise at Caine's ability to make him vegetarian ( If he was an NPC and conscious of his nature it *shouldn't* surprise him. He shouldn't make note of it either). How he treats Gangle. The fact he bullies her yet worries.

Like he's trying to toughen her up somehow. (....Was... Ribbit not 'tough' enough and that's how they abstracted ?) The way he makes an active effort to not care about things. Like it's his lifeline as opposed to Ragatha's toxic positivity.

Speaking of Ragatha let's talk about the moment she shared her story and his reaction to it. In that same episode, the whole time, he has a major beef with Ragatha. She said something that pissed him off and he takes every opportunity to put her in a shitty social situation as retaliation. Except when she shares her story.

He's supposed to be pissed at her right there. So why the sympathetic face? And even so. He should not care. He never does...Right?

This right here, really make me think he might have a similar upbringing or relationship with his folks. Also that line right here.

...Is it...Really just about Ragatha? Because I don't remember Ragatha showing appreciation to Jax or even telling him that she liked him in any episodes. ( Sorry bunnydoll shippers, I feel ur pain but I gotta be real) Heck she straight up told him she hated him to his face.

(Under the influence. But she still did that. She never apologized for it.) Now maybe we're missing out some context between the two, but I don't know....Coupled with his reaction to her backstory... It makes me wonder if he didn't have someone in his life who was a bit like Ragatha and he's projecting. (Maybe Ribbit was also like that....Or his mom. Maybe he has mommy issues lol who knows) ( On a side note, we always had these two as simple opposites. But with episode 5, I really think Jax and Ragatha are the two sides of the very same coin. Something is going on there. )

So yeah. All this really convince me that he is human. Maybe even one that Jax is not really proud of. The insistence on his masculinity (and freaking out over wearing a cute maid outfit), the looking down on manga readers yet KNOWING about the different genre that exist.... It makes me wonder if he actually wasn't a bit of a wimpy nerd irl who saw himself as a loser....Or was told he was a loser often. That could explain his shit attitude toward Gangle, who might remind him of who he was? But then....Why is he so cagey about himself? Shame? Could be, but why everything around him seems so strange? Like the fact he has everybody's keys.

The god damn keys.

We know all the players have keys of their rooms and that they can lock it, thanks to this scene. But somehow, Jax has a double of all of these and potentially more. And that info has been given to us early on, right at the first episode and already we know, that something sus is going on with this rabbit. You know what the rooms and the keys remind me of in the context of a game? Player accounts and passwords.

Caine, as administrator, should technically be the only one to have access to other player accounts. But here's that bunny guy who for some strange reason, has done a magic trick that gave him access to everyone's key room. And what about his room ?

Funny that, that the guy who has all the keys, has a very strange room himself.

Jax's room is probably going to be the biggest reveal about him. The fact that in his merch it's shown closed but hints a white and glitchy void behind the wall makes it suspicious. So suspicious that it led to the conclusion he was an NPC. But he is human. So what is this? Another magic trick ? Try to see it at this angle. Jax is recognized by Caine as a player, but what if he entered the game differently from the others? If that the case….His room might…Simply not exist.

Ever heard of 0-day? It is a term that describe a vulnerability in a system that can be exploited to get in via hacking.

We don't know how long the circus has been existing. But it's been hinted that it has been there for a while. And there's probably no one who updated the game ever since it went rogue. Meaning that right now, nobody has been really taking care of it. No updates. No one to fix bugs. No one to fix vulnerabilities. If someone found traces of that weird ass game and found a 0-day security hole, they might have gotten access to the game indirectly. Leading them into the game by unconventional means. this would make them into a very strange user... No. Jax is not an NPC. He's a hacker. Or at least, a wannabe hacker. This would explain the weirdness, lack of room, the capacity to steal keys/passwords, the nosiness and the lack of sharing information too. Jax is not a legitimate user of the game. Caine recognizes his existence but it is glitched. He might not have a room/account because of that. But then why not sharing this info with the rest of the crew? It's weird, but harmless right? ...Put yourself in his shoes. If I am right and he is, like I said, a hacker and that information gets leaked out to Caine.... Caine, who has a very hard time differentiating NPCs from actual users.

(btw this line should have freaked out everyone in the fandom. Seriously. He doesn't see them as humans anymore. Maybe he never did. This is a BIG problem rearing it's head right there. We still don't know if the heroes have been TRON'd, SOMA'd or Sword Art Online'd* but this does NOT bode well for the future) Caine who's not above erasing someone out of existence.

Caine who could recognize him as a threat for the system....Maybe as a Virus even...

Knowing all this,I'd keep my sassy mouth as shut as possible if I were him.

That post about reboot season 3 being very extremely unlikely to happen got me in a mood, so here are some notes on my season 2 rewrite.

It's technically set within my Altered Arrangements au but isn't part of the series rewrite so to say. I also have talked about it before but I don't remember what I brought up then so yeet !

The season is expanded to 20 episodes with the in-universe explanation being that season 1 was a bit of a test run to see how well a reboot would go and all that. With it being a success, season 2 has a bigger budget to work with.

As seen in Feeling Like A Failure, Nichelle doesn't do any training in between seasons. Because they both want to do better this time around, Nichelle and Damien form an alliance early on.

Lauren stays as the first boot, BUT comes back to hijack the horror challenge which is fittingly circus-themed. She gets to torment the merge players as a treat <3

Said merge players being Nichelle, MK, Damien, Axel, Wayne, Caleb, and Raj. (only 7 because I want the teams to go on for longer)

MK is, naturally, the season's main villain, still going with her season 1 strategy of flying under the radar but doing so more successfully. She'll still team up with Julia but won't be as open about it since people are mad as hell at Julia, as they should've been in canon lol

A big part of MK's strategy will be 'befriending' Nichelle. Not actually becoming friends but apologizing for what she said during the obstacle course last season. And Nichelle will accept because she will believe it to be a genuine attempt at doing better (which she is trying to do) and not some form of manipulation. Surely this won't come back to bite her in the ass.

Ripaxel and prialeb are still technically gonna be here but trust me, I'm gonna make 'em interesting.

Prialeb is unrequited, because aroace Caleb canon king, and it's going to be a mess and a half because you know Priya is hella rejection sensitive.

Ripaxel is requited, but they won't become a couple. Ripper starts the season with a small crush he isn't sure what to do with, and over the course of the season falls more in love as he, and by extension the audience, learns more about Axel. This also includes him befriending Millie as a "Girl, help me" kinda deal. (it starts off as you'd expect but end up with them becoming genuine friends. This is also where Ripper is introduced to poetry)

Keeping those short, but it's very epic in my head trust.

Axel will also befriend Nichelle, which is how her training begins, and MK who I believe she'll end up favoring but I can't really explain why so just trust me. Does she know MK is manipulative ? Not really, so that's gonna be fun. We also have Caleb befriending Millie, along with Damien and Nichelle who he ends up being dragged into a trio with (because chronically offline dad friend Caleb and avid memers Damien and Nichelle my beloved)

Caleb does also evolve into a proper dad friend after he, for a lack of a better term, calms down a little. Basically instead of trying to form an alliance with Priya, guy's working overtime to try and prove himself useful to avoid an early elimination. This includes stuff offering to carry everyone's bags when they first arrive, helping everyone to shore and being more like a medic during the rim reaper challenge, and effectively just reducing himself to a doormat.

What gets him to calm down is Priya telling him something like "You don't have to do all this, it's fine. I chose you to be on the team for a reason." and basically just quells his anxiety. This is important to their relationship and has a parallel scene in the episode where Priya confesses. (said episode goes so hard in my head btw)

Emma and Nichelle are going to have tension with Emma, due to the whole Chase situation and still being upset over her ruined friendship with Bowie, being very dismissive and at times even passive-aggressive towards Nichelle. This will be resolved featuring a lot of venting (Nichelle's self-esteem struggles being exacerbated because of this treatment, Emma not knowing deal with her emotions in a healthy way)

This season also features a team swap, wherein Emma joins Bowie's team (don't know which yet) and of course, the besties will reconcile <3

Damien friendship with Priya will properly continue and with him stepping up his game to do better this season, he ends up as co-captain of their team. Given he's smart and creative (and plays dnd) I can see him being a beast at strategy.

Will Damien scheme ? Not exactly. He's going to be a sorta parallel to MK, after all :3

We're doing the drag challenge, which will be held by only Chef who is in full drag the entire time. With him are legacy players Brick and Anne Maria, who will also be in drag (queen and king respectively). Episode is called Chef Hatchet's Drag Race because I think that's funny

Final four are Nichelle, MK, Damien, and Axel

Rant/Ramble

mostly on why Tim is my fav batfam character and why i think to make him into joker jr takes more effort than killing everyone he loves

An extended rant from my repost to @batfambrainrotbeloved 's repost. Thank you for reposting and commenting, again i loved everything you said about how Damian might struggle internally against Tim, you made my day.

Basically i believe Tim becomeing joker jr from grief of losing everything isn't strong enough of a reason. To specify, i don't think he'll lose it purely due to that and feel like there has to be other factors also contributing.

On a completely separate note, I love the friends to enemies trope with fervor, thats just my taste, so making Tim be the one to take away Damian's family just came naturally to me. And has nothing to do with my stated opinion, but rather additional preference.

Here goes why i feel Tim won't go insane/turn evil simply through losing his loved ones. Its been a while since ive touched any dc media so if i make any mistake about the lore i apologise in advance:

The impression that Tim gives me is that he is ridiculously resilient to corruption, both from within himself and from others trying to turn him, including and especially loved ones being taken from him.

As someone that signed up for robin to keep Bruce from killing himself, Tim has a very good idea how losing loved ones in this line of work can affect you, especially when you blame yourself for it.

He took a long, hard look at the cruel, demanding and at times ugly nature of being robin, the pain and suffering it could inflicted upon him and others he care about, and takes the gig up anyway. Sure enough he gets to experience this pain first hand when his mother was muerdered by a super villain before he even became robin(or right after i don't remember exactly), then his dad, then Connor, Bart, Bruce. While we never see him lose everything all at once, we do see him lose loved ones in close intervals, and we also see how he deals with that grief.

And we see that, though it definitely has tremendous impact on him every time it happens, pushing him into severe self doubt, even vengefulness and hatefulness at times, he rarely lets them triumph over him. He certainly comes close sometimes, yet almost always able to be level headed about it or make the right choice at the last moment, like with boomerang.

Even the few times that he did give in to his dark urges, the closest to evil we see him being is taking the law into his own hands and killing criminals, which i don't perceive as insanity, at least not the kind the joker displays. So even when he does crumble, which rarely happens, he leans toward becoming a control freak like clark, rather than going around murdering people in maniacal laughter like martha Wayne.

And for me that's his core trait, not just as robin, but as a dc super hero in general: He is the person to not fall apart when others most likely would have, and not only that, he helps others back up on their feet when they crumble. Something no doubt he'd do for Damian too, should memers of the Batfamily or teen titans ever be wiped out. Thats just what he, as a character, is created to do.

To sum so far, I simply cannot see any scenario where he willingly embraces becoming joker with sound mind and canonical backstory. for him to do something like that, in my opinion, goes completely against his character.

With that said, i still think it is possible to turn him evil and jokery, to do that first we have to erode that essential part that makes Tim, Tim. Many ways to achieve it too: Joker chip, joker virus, ace chemical acid bath with electricity going through it, you get the idea.

By this point i think it is pretty obvious that i think very highly of his will power and ability to persevere through loss and pain, maybe even to the degree of terrible bias, largely due to me first getting to know him through the red robin series and unfortunately he absolutely slays there. So it should come as no surprise that i also think giving him brain damage, while may work initially, can't keep him evil for long, he'd somehow fight through it, like he does when he killed thebjoker in the movie. He's just got that bat in him. I think It has to be both severe loss and brain damage, and happening to Tim in short intervals with each other. The damage is not meant to cripple him in anyway shape or form, just to knock home the insanity and to have it take root. Much like what the acid bath did to the joker himself.

I actually can't think of anything else to support this for why it won't work well otherwise besides the fact that the joker was also severely traumatized before he fell in the acid bath. What was contributing more, the bath or the bad day he had? I guess you can't really separate them, they go hand in hand.

To sum, while it is essential that he loses most everything he cherishes in order to turn joker, that won't be enough. Additional physical trauma has to happen to take away his will to fight the initial free fall to insanity.

Which is about all i have to say on this matter, not really and solid argument but rather loosely thrown together, very subjective impressions i have of Tim himself and the joker conversion process.

She hums in understanding, looking back down at her ipad. "Oi with the poodles already. It's a saying." 

Suna's eyebrows furrowed. "It is not a saying." 

"Yes, it is. I just said it, therefore it is a saying." 

He lets out an amused snort. "I swear this is why I don't spend time with you anymore." 

Y/n pouts, "Rude. I'll have you know I am excellent company." 

"I don't have the time or the energy to deal with your moronic behavior today." He teases, reaching for his drink and going to take a sip. He frowns when he realizes it's empty. He reaches for Y/n's drink and takes a sip of that instead. 

"Hey! You can't just insult me and then drink my drink!" 

Suna shrugs nonchalantly. "Suck it up, buttercup." 

Y/n scowls over at him but doesn't bother to grab her drink back as she returns her attention to the drawing on her ipad. She nibbles on the end of her apple pencil, eyebrows furrowed in thought. 

"Okay, pyscho." Sunarin huffs and Y/n glares up at him. "What'd I do this time?" 

"What kind of lunatic bites their apple pencil?" He sets her drink down and leans back in his seat. 

"It's a habit!" She slumps down, "Stop bullying me!" 

Suna tilts his head back and laughs. "It's not my fault you're deranged." 

Y/n purses her lips in a pout and sinks down further in her seat. "Meanie."

I’m actually cooking up individual personalities for the sableye rn! I haven’t gotten down to the nitty-gritty of each individual, but they’ve all got names and a few have some details to help separate them from each other in terms of look. Here’s some notes for a teaser:

Jasper is a very intense character, despite being an incurable prankster who you’d expect to be more lighthearted. He takes pranks very seriously— they were his passion when the Dark Future was a thing, and now that whole mess is all wrapped up, they are his life. Do not spoil a prank he’s planning if you value your kneecaps.

Jet was pretty much a secretary for Dusknoir back in the Dark Future. Very organized, responsible, and obsessed with punctuality. He was the sableye who got distracted by Shinies the least, though that’s not to say he never saw a pretty piece of seaglass and jumped out of the time travel equivalent of a moving car. He has a notch in the base of his right ear-looking thingy.

Tourmaline (often just called Tourmi) is impatient and bossy, but means well. Fond of cooking, and uses way too many spices in his dishes. He just dumps an entire shaker of black pepper into a small pot of soup and calls it good.

Cinnabar just wants to spend all her time reading. The fact she’s got terrible insomnia is not a major inconvenience to her— it is a superpower. Everyone will turn in for the night and she’ll go “Okay time to start another 400 page novel!! I need to know what happens next!!”

Jade likes teasing her friends and making horrible Pinterest fail-looking crafts. Has a small gemstone beneath her left eye that resembles a beauty mark. Loves drama and gossip.

Smaragdus doesn’t understand anything that’s going on around him at any given point. A major ditz, a bit of a philosopher, very creative, and extremely confused by the types of humor his peers enjoy. He wears an earring as a memento from a dear friend. Loves fighting.

I can totally see Jet tagging along with Dusknoir to the Present, though he would need a steady stream of busywork to stay sane in such a peaceful environment! He’s very timid and would also struggle keenly to adapt to socializing in a non-post-apocalyptic scenario. He only ever really spoke to Dusknoir and the other sableye in the Dark Future, after all, and he’s known them for most of his life! I think he’d end up getting along really well with Chatot, once they both got over their individual rigidity enough to ask what the other person does for fun. (They both like cleaning and organization. They look at each other after answering in the same way and they both think to themselves, Oh my goodness it’s the only other sane person in the world. We’re going to have so much to complain about together.)

On a side note 83.33% of the group are memers and neither Dusknoir nor Smaragdus understand the majority of what comes out of their mouths.
