I hope y’all like my OC’s!! I picked them cuz at least one of them is related to Fossils (duh duh duhhh)

For those who dont have an account on the artfight but are still interested in my oc’s, I’ve provided the description that i gave them on their pages under the cut off :)

There came once two siblings, as the moon still and sun brighter, but all stars must die and in her eyes-- too soon. But children, they were, and with her plea to a deity, the young sister of the dead boy came; bring my sun back to me, for I cannot live without that warmth upon my skin and heart. I want my brother back, and I will do whatever you need. The deity told the girl of the illness that ransacked and ravaged that land in a prior 200 years to her present, something that should have never effected the youth of now, yet it came for him ever still. A residue of a war they never were to be apart of, or intended rather, for there now came yet another casualty. Oh what could the girl do, she wailed, and the deity took those tears to heart. In the anguish of those fallen tears, came her wish fulfilled-- The Spirit of Health was born. Even as this spirit, the girl could do little to nothing, her aid not helping this illness that crept and crawled upon his very bone, like vine upon a trellis. So, with another bout of pleas, she came to the god, who listened, and for a second time, granted that same wish in a different form-- The Spirit of Death was born. That too failed, even able to bend his life into the route she wanted, the river still flowed the same. That limbo she stuck him in, it was no life, so she, for a third and final try, lamented to the deity, who took a final pity upon them, for there could be no other aid to offer. The girl had a familiar, a grand bird of mighty wing, with the property to carry on through death, to bounce back and perch once more to her being. The girl and her savior plotted, creating a plan to be fulfilled before the first arrow came flying over the castle walls. To use the host, her own beast, as a conduit for the ceaseless, hungering rot that revenged her brother.  Feed it pieces, subject and inflict, a loveless pet in deed. That solution could not utterly cure. In 20 years time, her familiar's body would expel the illness and produce that desired ichor, however she would not be with the bird long enough for that desire to come and pass. A thankless act, that deities work,  for soon there came a plot upon them. The girl and her waxing sun, not they but a HE, a masculine force far beyond their doing. Her failure of courtship, an ex lover perhaps, he came all the same; it came time to hatch a plot. To usurp a kingdom, to kill a being far beyond the flesh and human bone, to end a deity that once held itself upon the little girl, now woman's heart; it came time to end all of that rot, and pain. A bird flies, a woman weeps, and the suggestions of a ruin stand still now.  There came no aid for that diety, no wishes granted, who was to listen to their plea but the ever roaring silence of an unwavering throne. Oh sun, oh moon, oh stars above, bear witness to blessings each. To find that cure, that fluttering hope— where is thy bird now, oh sister of mine. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Doc is a No Bullshit doctor who has the ability to heal all non-magical illnesses and wounds. She travels to find a cure to her brother's illness and her bird, whichever comes first for now. She took a graft of his skin when she left, she keeps it alive with her powers, and its her most treasured possession.

Busk is an inventive musician who possesses the ability to control the dead. He really doesn't utilize his abilities all that much though and chooses instead to spend his time playing music, inventing instruments (of the musical or mass destruction varieties, and doing drugs. Often in sequence of each other. He used to have a pet cow that passed away and now he wears her skull on his head in connection to her. He does not dare to reanimate her body because that wouldn't be her, that would just be him controlling her remains.

Oh Tysm!

As for everything about my ocs... most of them have years worth of lore but I'll try to summarize best I can lol. I've also got like...over 100 ocs so I'll just talk about a few of em. If there's specific ones you wanted to know about feel free to ask.

They all live in a post apocalyptic world that was torn apart by war and unethical experimentation.

I'll just upload their artfight descriptions here.

So first up is Forcieus since I probably draw him the most

Basically the All Might of this universe if All might liked fart jokes and adopted over 10 children. He’s an absolute powerhouse. He can inhale surrounding light then shoot it in a concentrated beam. Kinda like Godzilla but not Godzilla if that makes sense. 

When he was younger he couldn’t control his powers and accidentally injured or killed others frequently. He was always  on the run from guards. He's pretty smart but he has the humor of a five year old.

He was killed by Rorzaun and possessed later. Rip. He's about 40 years old at the time of his death(these guys age like humans).

Next is Aero.

Aero's a little shit. He has a stealing problem and he likes to be a smart ass. He's also a hothead. He can speak to and raise the dead. He can also sense when someone's gonna die soon. Using his powers too much makes him ill.  He's also good with a sword. And he hates the markings under his eyes. In his culture, scary markings mean bad futures. He's deaf due to an accident that involved a triple dog dare.  Age 14 by the end of the story.

Next is Vanduo. Aeros's older brother.

Vanduo is usually a gentle character but he can get tough when situations need it. He also doesn't like expressing his own needs or having people fawn over him. He's got a bad  habit of keeping secrets from everyone he cares about. He's also got a hero complex and will attempt to save everyone even if it's pointless or could be at the cost of his own life. He measures his self worth with how many he can save. He's a vigilante that takes out bad organizations(cults, terrorists, environmental hazard loving politicians, ect)

He also has an identity crisis later on cuz of his weird uncle Rorzaun kidnapping him.

He's 18 at the time of his death/end of the story.

Since Rorzaun's mentioned twice in here I may as well shove him in too. (Tw mentions of child abuse and torture).

Rori is an abusive, manipulative asshole. Picture Mother Gothel from tangled but way more violent.

He had a son named Fiera who got brain damage in an accident at a really young age, he accidentally killed him in an experiment trying to fix him. So Rori basically kidnapped his nephew (Vanduo) and psychologically tortured him into thinking he was his dead son.    He also took over a kingdom by infiltrating as a therapist. He killed the queen, accidentally banished the king(he meant to kill him too lmao) then kidnapped their children. He tortured one physically and the other psychologically. 

This dude is unhealthily obsessed with Forcieus to the point he wants to be him. It was only about getting closer to Van at first but it got a little crazy.

Age 47(I think?) at the time of his death/end of the story.

Was gonna include Katoptris too since he's one of the royal kids but this post is already hella long so I'ma leave it at that.

He lost his parents and two younger siblings that day. He vowed revenge on the armored Titan, but after living through the refugee camps, famine and disease the breach brought in its wake, Coriin’s perspective changed, and now all he wanted more then anything was to prevent anyone else from having to go through what he, and countless others did. he joined the 104th cadet corps, and worked hard, his heart set on becoming a scout, battling shadows no one else can see and titans alike, he finally made it into the Levi squad. uncle had passed five years ago after Shiganshina fell, but Levi knew him, they all had.   Now Coriin fights with his comrades to save humanity, trying his hardest not to leave anyone else behind, but sometimes it’s harder said then done, even when your hearts set on it. That’s just war. But even so, he does his best to smile, even if not for himself. He just wants to make sure everyone is okay, heard, and understood. Personality: Kind-hearted. Introvert. Overthinker. Worrier. Loyal to a fault. Determined. Reflective. Good-natured. Suppresses emotions. Calm. Warm. Listener.

Notes:

-The scar on his face is the result of a shattered blade from a comrade he was trying to save from a Titan, but was too late and the shrapnel got him. 

-the scar tissue in his nose is easily aggravated and results in chronic nose bleeds that flare up often

-Cannot smell

-easygoing and easy to talk to, making him one of the 104ths ‘big brother’ figures

-gets in his head too much, and can’t let go of guilt

GRAFFITI!!! I LOVE WHENEVER WE SEE GRAFFITI!!! particularly the loading screens in new vegas is what comes to mind, since those ones are SO interesting to me. like, it varies from faction to faction what's being written, and we're able to see this visual representation of the tiniest, most indirect ways that groups like the ncr and the legion are at war with each other. its SO fucking cool and it makes me SO insane. WHICH IS WHY I WANT TO SEE MORE OF THIS !!!!

and this is just the EENSIEST POSSIBLE EXAMPLE of what could be done with artistic themes in these godforsaken games !!!! GOD its such a fascinating concept and i could go on about this for HOURS. (and who knows, maybe i will later)

May I ask who Vesper is?

Ah!!! Yes!!!!! You absolutely can!!!

Vesper is my "keykid", aka a kh oc vaguely from khux. Their lore is a little,,, not concrete, so it's kinda hard to say much about them, but I love them :333333

The gist of it is they were alive during khx/khux, but did not participate in the keyblade war. They and their friend Lacus ( @maxwellrat) are both immortal "monsters" in humanlike form, though Vesper is more of a werewolf situation. Due to this they can go berserk in battle, and the more berserk, the more inhuman they look! Like our other berserker friend Saïx, they wield a claymore (I actually just stole one of his from Days and called it a day lol). She's meant to be like a very powerful and destructive force of light that burns everything around it.

Vesper's not really afraid of their power, but they restrain themselves nonetheless. They're more afraid of letting it out at the wrong time and hurting someone they love. Out of universe, it's honestly an allegory for parts of neurodivergence! In my personal experience there's times where it feels like something is burning inside me. It's a really intense energy that kind of gets under my skin and usually triggers a Character Moment or a period of intense stimming. And then there are times or places where I have to keep that feeling in check, because I'm in public or whatever. Vesper's power is kind of like that. It's not inherently dangerous, she doesn't lose control of herself, but it's so much raw energy that she keeps it in check, just in case.

To clarify, Vesper isn't a princess of heart! She's not even pure light, just mostly so. She's got a pretty normal heart, the weirdness is everything else :3 You can find them here on my artfight to see their sprite and some epic art people have made of her!!! It's a series of oneshots and small fics following a young Obi-Wan who had a teensy mental breakdown on Galidraan, killed Dooku, and Fell. Featuring a slightly insane Obi-Wan, a very concerned Silas, and death! Updates are sporadic, I write when the muse strikes. cult of fox - @darkest-of-rats and I's third fic! It's a Cult of the Lamb crossover featuring fluffy crack, tookas, ancient deities, and lots of fun! Updates are irregular, as this is a side project, and no knowledge of Cult of the Lamb is needed to understand and enjoy!

[Fabula] Mihaela, grieving vengeful mother

My socials I wanna use this chara in Artfight cause I like her design. This is Mihaela, a character I play in a Fabula Ultima campaign, a JRPG inspired system. The campaign I'm playing in is based off Fairy Tales, SO, as the obligatory Slav, I had to represent. She is inspired by the romanian Fairy Tale "Goat with three kids". A brutal story where a mother warns her kids not to open the door unless they hear her special song password. Obviously, they mess up, two of them get eaten and their decapitated heads are left for the mom to find at the windowsill because the wolf thought it would be funny to play a joke. The mom and the remaining kid take revenge on the wolf by tricking it into a feast laid out for a wake, over a fire pit with a candle-made top. So as the wolf eats and the wax burns, it falls into the fire and... burns alive. ... you know, FOR KIDS! Anyways, this version is modified to keep in theme with JRPG energy. She is also inspired by Kratos from God of War. Info: Mihaela was born in Grimmhelm, a village sorrounded by the cursed forest, Lujer. Nobody knows what Lujer actually is, but one thing is for sure: It's more alive than regular plants. Still the people in Grimmhelm are stubborn and often keep it at bay. So have Mihaela and her husband lived together there, having kids and a relatively normal life, besides keeping wary of the forest. Unfortunately, Mihaela's husband had a mental breakdown and left her and the kids, leaving Mihaela to go alone out to get food.  Since they would be alone and the forest was full of Shapeshifting Nightmare Wolves, Mihaela warned them not to open the door unless they heard her very specific password. With days of this happening, the wolves picked up on the password, Mihaela's shape and her voice and managed to trick the kids into opening the door. The eldest was brave. He tried to fight and he did damage... but he was ultimately too young to be a monster hunter and perished. The middle was cowardly. He hid well, but predators smell fear... The youngest was both agile and clever. He hid up the chimney, the narrow space and smoke making it impossible for the wolves to get him. As they left the devoured corpses and the decapitated heads in the house, Mihaela returned to a gruesome sight. She wailed into the night, her mind only saved by the final child coming out, scared, but alive. Lujer would pay. Even as the wife of the house, her being a goat person gave her the advantage of a strong body. Armed with fire, axes and traps, she and her remaining son went out on a wolf hunt. They turned the forest into a wolf trap and subjected them to horrors and pain matching her own. She crippled the wolves with her axes and traps and set them alive, hunting them day and night, forming a giant fire scar following her hunt in Lujer. She eventually left after Lujer's plant's were starting to react to her massacre, no longer safe to hunt more wolves. Sadly, they had no home to return to, as she used it as a trap to burn a lot of wolves alive. The world outside of Grimmhelm is dangerous as well, however. Children are often hunted and kidnapped and a goat kid was a unique opportunity. Since Mihaela exhausted herself in the fight with the wolves, she could not fight the kidnappers, and was left on the ground battered and broken. In her rage, the demon of Wrath found her. She made a deal with it for power, as she felt all her cunning was all for naught. The Demon accepted, taking away her wits and cunning in exchange for strength and dexterity. Now she wanders the world, hunting wolves and searching for her kid, her rage unsatiated as she is looking or a way to kill Lujer. Forever. Art (c) ME!

Hi, hello! You can call me Stellastra. This is my art blog I made in September 2024, but I've been on tumblr since 2014 on my personal blog.

To tell you a bit about me: I like to draw, play video games, take photos, work out, and collect historical fashion books.

I'm admittedly a fairly shy and private person, so my posts will almost strictly be related to art and/or my OCs. However, feel free to send me a message, whether it's about me, my art, my OCs, or if you just wanted to drop in and say hello. If you send me an ask about my OC, I might accompany the answer with a drawing!

All I ask is for some basic cordiality if I don't know you.

Some Ground Rules:

I make art based on mature games/genres. My content is intended for an adult audience.

Reposting my art off-site is fine, so long as I'm credited/it links back to me. For example, if I drew you something and you want to add it in your OC's reference compilation on Toyhouse or wherever, that's fine. Something as simple as "art by stellastra [insert link to my blog]" is all I ask for.

I can't believe I have to say this, but just be a decent human being. It's not that hard. I will not engage in petty discourse openly nor in DMs.

I'm half-Filipina (Igorot, specifically Kalinga) and half-white (apparently of mostly British ancestry, according to a 23andMe test my dad did).

I was born and raised in the the southeast USA.

Unfortunately, I can only speak English (+ some rusty high school-level French). I want to learn Tagalog or Ilocano (my mom's native language) someday.

I have pet cats.

I can safely say that I really started drawing when I was around 10 years old, when I was doodling in the margins of my schoolwork in the fourth grade.

I love watching 'so bad, it's good' movies like The Room, Troll 2, Samurai Cop, Neil Breen movies, etc.

I have an unhealthy collection of historical fashion books. Most of my collection is 19th century European stuff, but I'm always looking for books of an earlier time or even non-European cultures.

If you're looking for any specific resource regarding historical clothing, feel free to shoot me a message and I can point you to some resources for reference material. I have an ever-growing number of characters on my artfight page! All the references i've been uploading lately are in preparation for this year's fight. More characters, more options! I also have a pretty wide range of character types. I have...monsters, i have...more monsters... robots.... oh! there's a humanoid! and there's a giant sea god! it's like pointing out cloud shapes! A lot of people have a preference for the type of character they draw, so I came prepared this time. Plus, now with actual, functioning references!

I try to get revenge for every attack I receive. ..Keyword "try"... last year was kind of a bummer. And the year before. But i've been getting better and more comfortable with artfight over the years, so this shouldn't be a problem. I see so many of my friends attacking people and getting at most 3 attacks the whole event, which..no offense to anybody who couldn't get revenge, by the way! just kind of sucked to see. So, if the rate of attacks i'll be getting is slow enough, I should have the time and energy to get revenge for every attack!

My attack quality will increase greatly this year! You may look back at my old attacks and feel a little bit..let down. BUT I can assure you, if you look at the art i post on Tumblr, i've grown lots as an artist since the big 24! and 23! And- no, sorry, i've only been here for two years, try the next guy for more numbers...

POSSIBLE DOWNSIDE TO ATTACKING ME:

I might not be able to get revenge. Or have much motivation at all this year. I'm really planning on it- i look forward to artfight every July! but I am currently in the process of moving and I may get so stressed out I just..lose all ability to draw. Cow A Bummer Am I Right. FEAR NOT. if this happens i'll HIT MYSELF SO HARD I GET BACK TO WORK! have NO FEAR of NOT BEING ATTACKED IN RETURN. This will be FAIR TRADE. OK!? YES CHEF!

Welcome to: A Post Where I Rant About My Artfight Attacks This Year and the Thought Processes Behind Them (In Order)

First up is this one!! I used to have a sona for MLB a long time ago and still think about him from time to time, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to draw an updated vers!

Since I am a big time travel trope fan, I obviously gave myself the rabbit miraculous. As for the other character, it’s owned by @precisespace , and their name is Vermini!!

As for the process, there wasn’t much to it. I knew I wanted a dynamic pose and I’m a bit taller than average irl, so I wanted to play with that and push it a bit further. Since this one was my first ever artfight submission, I wanted to take it easy and use it to learn the ropes a bit.

This one has a bit more put into it hehe.

The characters, Ellie and Jade, are owned by AletheSnail on artfight!

Since magical girls are one of my autistic special interests, you bet your money I knew I had to draw them as soon as I read their backstory. It’s genuinely so interesting to me, so please go check it out if you have the chance!

This one, I knew I wanted a “vision obscured” type beat, and to also give a sense of longing. I also tried to do a basic background, and it worked out… decent enough haha. I don’t really like it, but it’s better than nothing

Due to being diagnosed with Star Wars hyperfixation, the rest of all these will be Star Wars ocs.

While it was originally Arielle’s (the Twi’Lek) design that caught my eye, Fii’s backstory,,, I’m obsessed

For this one, I wanted it to look like they were at a table debriefing or something, but then I got lazy and just drew shapes. Hopefully it gets the message across well enough TvT

Sinner did a revenge on me, so this is my revenge back!!

They drew my oc, Vinon, and Fii together when they’re adults in a situation where they meet again after remembering each other as younglings. This inspired me to draw a scene with padawan Vinon and Fii greeting each other!!

I also wanted an excuse to design Vinon’s master finally, so meet Zalale! And the other Chiss is Fii’s master, Saan Bo.

I used Sinner’s piece as a reference for their poses, and I pretty much traced a screenshot from one of the movies for the background. I really super like how this one came out! I think it’s my favorite attack of mine this year!!

Guys… Jinoro’s story… sobs and explodes and dies.

Them and their padawan, Marz, immediately stole my heart. As such, I drew Jinoro giving Marz a funeral after she dies.

I knew I wanted a bit of an angle on this piece, and used Anakin’s funeral as a reference for the scene. I really super suck at drawing fire, so this was good practice! I also really like how this one came out haha

This was a revenge for @spacedem0n !!

They drew my oc, Rasdra (the Twi’Lek) and their oc, Bleen, meeting and hanging out after order 66. As such, I thought it would be fun to draw an interaction between them when Rasdra was still a youngling and before Bleen left the Jedi Order!

I’m not too happy with how Rasdra came out, but I used full creative freedom when it came to designing a padawan version of Bleen. I genuinely had way too much fun with it haha

Once again, I mostly traced a background from a screenshot in one of the movies, and I don’t think it turned out horrible, so I’ll take it as a win!!

In conclusion, this month as my first artfight was AMAZING. I received tons of amazing art of my characters, and it was fun to indirectly bounce ideas off of others! I look forward to seeing the winning team, and I also look forward to next year already!
