This is way more than enough to out me to those in the know, but that's okay I guess. I fully meant what I said about Artificer Harem Goat and I do genuinely feel like they wronged me, so I'll stand on business and say it with my whole chest.

Some of the colors aren't linked bc im pretty bad. But in all screenshots my character/discord is denoted by hard red. In all screenshots the purple refers to Artificer harem goat (dark purple in the first two, lavender purple in the latter 2. Just showing my mindset and thoughts and frustrations as I was being forced to finally oocly confront this situation, after dealing with it and never bringing it up ooc despite knowing from other friends how I was being talked about.

The only reason I'm even posting about it now is because I've seen the same story from other people about them 'hijacking' people and having an issue separating the character's actions from the player themselves. And the narrative comes up that it's about 'being possessive' or an attack on their erp habits or whatever. But nah, they were objectively shitty to me on an ooc level despite me doing my absolute best to keep any criticism of them or reaction to what they were doing IC. Bc im happy with OOC conflict. Happy to give them the benefit of the doubt. Incorporated them even more heavily into my RP because I naively thought 'maybe they won't think and talk so bad of me if my character is more friendly and welcoming to them'. Yeah, no, still all the same issues, and worse they just abused that to further interject themselves into the same stories they were trying to force me out of.

Ultimately i just did a DNI and let my characters partners at the time decide what they wanted to do about it. And frankly that was the right call, even though I lost great rp in the process. Because I don't feel shitty when I log in anymore.

How do you feel about Lily claiming that intersex people have an uncontrollable libido?

I think that was a part of her fic and, as I've stated before she's just using the popular ERP/Hentai/porn Shemale kink. (Yes I know I don't like that word either but I feel like I need to be frank with this subject.)

I think that she switched to using the term intersex because it's considered more progressive on the surface without realizing the implications she was now making. If you find+replaced the n word out of a piece of racist fiction it would still probably be racist and full of offensive stereotypes.

I hold this kink with the same disdain as the ABO stuff and like the ABO stuff, you *cannot* make it progressive. It's a bioessentialist, intersexist concept. Trying to rehabilitate it with progressive language actually often makes things worse. Just accept it for what it is and stop trying to make the consumption of media and especially fancontent and the porn you look at a form of activism.

I've been rethinking a lot of things and I think I'm back at the conclusion of "if Stockholm was the only thing Lily Orchard did wrong I wouldn't give a shit."

I was aware of Lily for a decade as a stupid mean person that made bad video essays and wasn't very nice. I don't think that's a crime. My mind changed when I heard about Courtney and the harm she caused real people. I have plenty of videos where I pick apart other YouTubers content, I like making those videos, that's all I wanted to do and then things got weird and complicated. I am in the midst of untangling and reframing my perspective on a lot of things.

That is to say that I think the whole Bitch Eating Crackers thing has extended into some people getting a little trigger happy with trans women. Are there some people in the LGBTQIA community that are in conflict and even harming our most vulnerable members? Absolutely. And, I feel like I'm on the cusp of something I'm having to take a step back from because individuals like Orchard are very rare. A lot rarer than some people are presenting them as. The world isn't divided into Good People vs Lily Orchard and people like her. I seriously don't give a shit that someone wrote a Gooner fanfic about ponies a decade and a half ago. I care about the material harm, I care about patterns of behaviour escalating and getting worse and trails of victims that leaves behind.

I'm at a crossroads and rethinking a lot of stuff right now so I ask for patience. I am not disavowing any of my cohorts and largely I believe the people with hurt feelings have valid reasons to be hurt, and. I need to reevaluate my own actions and if they align with my core moral values. Thanks for the anon. It is a space which is rated for children. You cannot expect minors to obey your DNIs, and everyone putting DNI in their profiles is absolutely not enough to protect them. It is the responsibility of adults to make this a safe place for mixed ages.

People talking about sex pest guilds, I think at this point it is any community which does not expressly ban ERP profiles and sexual themes.

I have been to other RP communities and they have no where near as much problems with the crazy degenerate crap you hear about on WOW RP. They are open to minors, understanding that this is a VIDEO GAME, and ostracize people who have ERP profiles.

This should be no tolerance for every community. I have no concept of why we started to pretend like this is okay.

Is ERP cheating when you're in a relationship? I've always seen it as co-writing fiction/fanfiction. Neither I nor the person I rp with have any romantic or sexual feelings for each other. We are friends, full stop. We are friends outside of RPs as well, and have no desire to ERP with each other.

Sorry if I sound weirdly defensive. The two of us are in a discord server together because I am an involuntary age regressor (because of cPTSD and sexual trauma) and wanted to have a space where there was absolutely no sexual content at all for when I am regressed. It is a major trigger and I would prefer to avoid freakouts when I can.

I tried marijuana and (hear me out) it gave me some interesting insight into how purity culture minds might work.

While I was high, the boundary between thought and act/speech felt very flimsy. I was fully aware of what I was thinking without acting on, but thoughts actually felt emotionally identical to speech or actions.

I played a video game and when I thought nice things about other players it felt exactly identically the same as putting those thoughts into a public text chat. Ditto negative or uncharitable thoughts. I noticed that another player's character was very attractive and it felt exactly and precisely the same as hitting on him. Thinking that his character was cute felt skeevy and wrong, because it would have been inappropriate to send a perfect stranger a horny DM in a context where it wasn't reasonable to expect that he was looking for ERP.

Similarily, I got a little annoyed with another player's habit of running ahead of the group, and that felt exactly the same as if I'd called him rude names in public. And I appreciated yet another player's friendly chat, and that felt exactly the same as if I'd told her so, even though during all of this I said absolutely nothing in chat and no one noticed me at all (unless they noticed that I was playing poorly beause duh, I was high).

So if antis have that lack of distinction between thought and deed as their baseline, then that explains (but does not excuse) why they're so keen on thought police nonsense. It doesn't excuse it because if you aren't zonked out of your gourd, you can intellectually understand that thoughts aren't deeds even if they feel that way in the moment.

Is it still grooming if I'm an adult and I have a positive relationship with the person who groomed me? I agree that minors shouldn't be talking about kinks and fetishes with adults (even in the context of discussing fictional characters), but they never exactly forced me, and I'm an adult now... Was it even grooming to begin with really? I've been groomed before by somebody older who absolutely forced me to ERP my OCs with their OCs, and I feel wayyy worse about them than I do the other person I started off talking
