hello I just scrolled through all ur angeltrick tagged stuff and its going to be in my head forever and ever now. please please tell me more about it. literally anything I'd love to listen
omggg okay im just gonna dump my thoughts under the cut while im on my work break LMFAO
General things
-patrick was born a human but ~bestowed~ angel powers in order to defend humanity against an apocalypse (ill get to dat later)
-his family knew but were like ehhhh im sure it will figure itself out. the band didnt find out until after they started fall out boy and patrick slipped (he had lil baby wings just on his head atp)
-band helps patrick hide his little wings and the occasional floating on stage when patrick gets a little too excited (that one clip of joe flopping patrick's hat back on hehe)
-ioh era/folie era he starts developing actual powers/ he turns into a little creature sometimes when hes overwhelmed (think howl from ghibli)
-sometime between this time as well he gets his big wings! idk probably from album stress i havent thought about it too much
-the band loves taking naps and petting patrick's wings when he gets the small chances of stretching them out :] pete keeps a feather in his wallet
-SOUL PUNK ERA ANGSTTTT bro cannot stretch his wings out when he solo tours, gets bummed about it, cut to the day when joe went and watched his set and they hang out and patrick is excited to show off his wings again to his buddy slayyyy
-i wanted to incorporate the ybc into being like ... the prophecy patrick has to prevent but ends up being the one to cause it, but it's okay cuz he still got a free pass to heaven LMFAO
- everything is all good and dandy afterwards and patrick gets to keep his cool angel powers and wings after theyre revived yayyyyy
-patrick does get a little defensive of the band imo and so even when their older sometimes he has his little moments and has feathers start to grow everywhere .... it was harder to control when he was younger
-tldr patrick gets goofy angel powers and the band all loves their little angel creature guy :]

LAUGHING HYENAS, DIE KREUZEN, KILLDOZER - Touch & Go Records Roadshow, Toronto, Jan. 1988
By the time Grunge broke I felt like I was being aged out of the music scene since so much of it sounded like things I'd been listening to a few years earlier, when it didn't have a name except for maybe "indie" or "the music no major label will release." The bands who came to Toronto in January of 1988 as part of the Touch & Go Records Roadshow are a perfect example, and for some reason I was moved to try to get portraits of all three of them that night, despite my increasing wariness of photographing bands. (Long story short: like herding cats. Cats with shitty attitudes.)
Killdozer might have been the most popular band on the bill that night. The Wisconsin trio comprised of bassist/vocalist Michael Gerald and brothers Bill and Dan Hobson on guitar and drums sang sarcastic lyrics from debased or demented first-person characters over a pummeling grind. They were also the most eager subjects of the night, goofing for my camera and giving me my most successful shots for the spreads that would run in Nerve magazine.
I knew the least about the Laughing Hyenas when they showed up on the bill for the Touch & Go Records Roadshow in 1988, which might explain why I (shamefully) don't have any live shots of the band. They grew out of Detroit-based groups like Negative Approach and L-Seven, and I photographed their classic lineup before the show, with John Brannon, Larissa Stolarchuk, Kevin Monroe and Jim Kimball. The band had a troubled existence, with drug problems and lineup changes, but they produced some incredible records, and of the three groups I photographed that night, they're probably my favorite today. Sadly, Larissa Stolarchuk died in 2006 at just 46. John Brannon still tours with a revived version of Negative Approach.
Die Kreuzen were the band I was most excited to see on the Touch & Go Records Roadshow bill that played Toronto in early 1988. The Illinois band (whose name is pronounced either "Die Crusin'" or "Dee Kroy-tzen" depending on how metal you feel, I guess) had just put out October File, one of my favorite records of the '80s, which still had some traces of hardcore amidst all the prog, metal and post-punk influences on the record. Like all the other bands on the bill, the group was produced by Butch Vig, and Kurt Cobain's love of Touch & Go acts inevitably led to Vig producing Nirvana's breakthrough record for Geffen, breaking Grunge big but making me feel like this was where I came in.
I shot all three bands around soundcheck at what was probably the Apocalypse Club on College Street, with my most ambitious setup at the time - a white painter's tarp I carried around in a gym bag, gaffer-taped to the wall and a single flash bounced into an umbrella. The only real yardstick I had for band photos at the time were the promo glossies that record companies sent out in press packages, so it's not surprising that mimicking press handouts was the height of my ambition. I've re-scanned and worked on these shots pretty heavily; some of them are still just weaksauce attempts at band promos, but a couple are a bit more successful.

My Favorite Total Drama Ships
These are just my personal favorites. If a pair doesn't show up here, its more that I'm neutral towards them or don't have any strong feelings about it. You can send me an ask if you're curious about any specifics I didn't list here.
AlejandroXHeather: This is my all-time OTP and the main theme of this side blog. I'm not gonna say any more than that since I could probably write a novel about why they're my favorites, hahah.
GwenXCourtney: I loved their bonding moment in World Tour and their friendship was one of the highlights in All Stars for me. I think they have potential and chemistry.
AlejandroXDuncan: This is my guilty pleasure ship. I can't really explain it other than I like their flavor of rivals to lovers. The wannabe punk gets seduced by the devil in disguise.
HaroldXLaShawna: I loved the love confession at the dock in season 1. It stuck with me and these two are such a fun, unexpected pair. I want to root for them!
HeatherXCourtney: I'm fully aware this is a crack ship. Its pretty much watch two girl bosses win and crush all their enemies. I also like to think that they communicate by arguing, but ultimately work well together. Nobody thinks they would but they're a dream team despite all odds.
ShawnXJasmine: They steal the season. They're adorable and they'd totally survive a zombie apocalypse together.
MaxXScarlett: I'm a Voxman shipper. Any dynamic, even an off-the-wall crack pairing that features a competent villain and their dumb, wannabe villain partner, sign me the fuck up. There's so much potential in their shenanigans with Max screwing things up and Scarlett trying to prevail despite his fumbles.
BrodyXMacArthur: I liked Brody's crush on MacArthur and really hope she gave him a chance. They're cute!
Honorable Mentions: TylerXLindsay, GeoffXBridgette, EnnuiXCrimson
I haven't watched the reboot yet, but I'm sure that Rajbow will be my favorite based on all the fan art and stuff I've seen.

Acey!!!! 11, 12, 15, 28, & 29 for the music asks 🖤🖤
ali!!! thank you!!
11. what is the best live music show you’ve ever been to?
hmmm. this is always a funny question bc i often times can’t see the stage so this is not based on visuals. when i went to scranton apocalypse fest last year it was dope bc i’d argue most of the bands were highly entertaining and great. esp parkway drive and motionless in white. the kid of death tour was another good one, in this moment and ice nine kills were visually stunning and on point. fleetwood mac had a lot of visuals that were cool but it was just awesome to see stevie dancing around as she does and also the fact i got to hear christine mcvie live destroyed me!!!
12. who is a band or artist that you’ve never seen that you’re dying to see?
good question!! slipknot is one that i’ve always wanted to see but thought the crowds would be too scary. blink 182 bc they were influential to baby acey getting into pop punk. my ultimate jealousy band i’ll never see live (bc they’re messy and hate each other) is pink floyd.
15. what is a song you’re obsessed with at the moment?
i’m currently on an ice nine kills kick (i have a bunch of gifsets coming soon bc their mvs are interesting, especially for the silver screams) so i’m gonna say IT is the end. it’s been stuck in my head especially the honk honks. (it’s metalcore meets ska which is like peak high school acey)
28. most underrated band or artist?
hardest question bc idk what constitutes as underrated. whenever i think a band is it’s bc i’m not looking in the right spots. i think i’m gonna say the spill canvas bc no one ever talks abt them anymore and one fell swoop was really big for me and ship playlists.
29. most overrated band or artist?
uhhh. another hard one bc overrated seems so bleh. i’ll just say there are some artists i see around a lot that i don’t listen to bc they’re not my cup of tea. (if this was 2008 i would say cute is what we aim for or boys like girls but it’s 2024 acey)
maybe ariana grande? i have tried to listen to her music and i like 2-3 songs but overall an artist i don’t understand! not to say she’s horrible or whatever she is clearly doing something right if she’s this popular yk?

ALLRIGHT HERE'S THE ANNOTOPIA POST!!
First off we've got day 1. I hopped out of bed at 9:30 and got ready and we rolled out at around 11 with my bff being the driver

We did our initial tour of the festival grounds to see where everything is this year around, had some good old curry sausage for lunch and then watched the opening parade at 2pm which you can see on the following pictures

and after we went out little aesthetic walkie walk, we spent the most of our time in the post apocalypse camps, they had a really cool punk rock stage show there going on and also (most importantly) a slushie booth

and then we did some chilling and tomfoolery at the pond of the park. My bff took some cute pics of me there, I also took some cute ones of her but she wants me to cover up her face if I post them but I think that ruins the pictures so youi'll just have to imagine my cottage core sweetie princess in your little heads uwu.

and with that we ended day 1 because I had to be home in time for raid night.
On day 2 I drove and we all went in a more casual look so I didn't bother with a fit check, we also spent most of our day actually spending money there and taking less pictures so there aren't that many. Basicly we arrived at around 2pm after we picked up our buddy who some of you know as hiyuu shiyuu from my ffxiv fc and raid posts.
We did our tour of all of the shops, got hiyuu a cute top and a hat, my bff got herself a set of runestones, a tarot deck and some jewelry. about 3/4 of the way around the market place we got to witness this scene

caused by the dark lord (the poor bastard in a full black plated metal armor in 32°C summer heat) accusing jack sparrow of owing him money, followed by the vikings, the pirates and the post apocalypse running in to help jack, only to instantly get knocked down by an earthshaker spell.
Once we were done shopping we all got ourselves a slushie, chilled by the lake again and then went to our traditional dinner at mcdonalds in full fantasy get up.
Here is my loot from this years festival:

I got myself a set of snake themed runestones and a little fairy bunny from a shop called AnnkasAnderwelt on instagram and these two sword-hairpins from a nother shop that I didn't get the name of sadly.
The runestones are made from resin and some of them have real snakeskin (from natural shedding, no snakes were harmed in the making of these) and pages from what I believe to be the german classic the golden pot in them (the book features a character called serpentina who can turn into an emerald snake).
The runestone set also came with a pendulum, a pentacle charm and this random wooden stick....yeah I'm not sure what the stick is for so I have it to Fluffels (the bunny, his full name Sir Fluffles McFluffington the Wolpertinger) as a chew toy.
and i got this black canvas two piece

the grey pattern is hand printed on with these lenoium shingles that you have to handcarve, roll the paint on and then stick it on the fabric, according to the shop owner they were going for a pagan witch meets viking fantasy kind of vibe and I guess it checks out. I'm not sure if I'll ever use this for any larp character but I for sure will wear this at home, it's super comfy.
Also eveyone please apreciate my one again random pile of stuff behind me. I have offically given up on not having a pile on the guest bed so it is what it is now. Right now it's just all my larp stuff that doesn't need to be washed but still needs to be put away or have some other kind of maintainance done on it.
My bff is thinking about going post apocalyse next year, I'm not so sure what I'll do or if I can even make it next year because of my apprenticeship but I guess we'll see.

Blog #1 - Narratives in Music
Bring Me The Horizon: POST HUMAN NEX GEN Album Narrative PT. 1
For this blog post I would like to analyse how the use of Narratives, if carried out correctly, can be a very useful tool for musicians, as well as for the reach and impact of their music. I'd also like to discuss how they can completely level up the engagement with the audience through the narrative.
To exemplify this argument, I'm going to analyse the complex narrative that the band Bring Me The Horizon has created (and continues to create) for their upcoming album series POST HUMAN SERIES and their current world tour. So let's start by giving a bit of a background of the band and their most recent work, as it is relevant for the analysis.
Bring Me The Horizon is a British rock band formed in 2004 in Sheffield. The band is composed of 5 members: Oliver Sykes, Jordan Fish, Lee Malia, Matt Kean and Matt Nicholls. They have been known for a while now for the way they experiment with their music; they have this sort of rule of not putting themselves and their music in a box and I think it's precisely that what has made them the big band they are today. The band started as a deathcore/metalcore band but have slowly transitioned to a mix of several genres like nu-metal, pop rock, hyper-pop, punk and even electronic music, all while maintaining metalcore elements. They have 8 studio albums, the last one of them being POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, which was released during the COVID-19 pandemic and had an apocalyptic theme to it (how ironically fitting, right?). This last album is the first part of a four album series they have planned and will release over the next couple of years. Each album will have a different sound to it and each album will explore different genres that have inspired the band over the years, however the narrative of each album is connected: Post Human 1 = Apocalypse, Post Human 2= Post Apocalypse + Human Evolution, and so it will continue.
Their upcoming album POST HUMAN: NEXGEN is the second part of this series, and as stated by Oliver Sykes in NME's interview (2023), 'it's about what's next' (after the supposed apocalypse during Post Human: Survival Horror album).
So we can see that the complexity of their narrative starts there, not only with the narrative that the albums follow, but there's also a narrative behind their creation and behind the logistics of the album series (on a more personal level).
As we learned during the seminar, narratives are about the way in which a story is told and they usually follow a chain of events and have a temporality to it. We also understand that a narrative is 'a telling of some true or fictitious event or connected sequence of events, recounted by a narrator to a narratee (although there may be more than one of each) and it will consist of a set of events (the story) recounted in a process of narration (or discourse)' (Baldick, 1990, p. 145); we can see how Bring Me The Horizon is creating a narrative complexly well with this album series: there’s a sequence of events (the apocalypse during the first album, the post apocalyptic world in the second one and the next scenarios to come with the further POST HUMAN albums) which are recounted by a narrator (Bring Me The Horizon through the different mediums) to a narratee (the fans/audience). Even if we don't know yet how the story is going to unfold in its totality; because the missing albums are not out yet; we definitely get a sense of where the story is going and that there is a logic to it.

All of the hype they are creating with it and all of the different elements that compose this album series are definitely engaging and they are keeping people at the edge of their seats, wanting more. This is exactly what you want to achieve when you are looking for audience engagement and at the end of the day, that's exactly the goal of any story or narrative: to connect with the audience and immerse them into it.
But it doesn't end there. They tell the story not just by the logic the album series follow, but they implement that narrative into their marketing strategies, live shows, social network posts and the overall branding around the album releases; even the music videos, stage design, live visuals design and outfits they use during their concerts are inspired and designed according to the narrative. By this point, there's even kind of this folklore inside the fandom that revolves around these narratives.
Without getting into what the narrative is about in detail yet (I'll be analysing that in the next post), I think that Bring me The Horizon is effectively telling a transmedia story through all of this elements because, as Jenkins said, transmedia storytelling is a system where several elements of a fiction are distributed across different delivery channels and it’s goal is to create a unified entertainment experience (Jenkins, 2006) and in fact, this band is creating a whole world and unified experience through these albums, and they benefit from it because the audience becomes more invested and interested in them and their narratives; which means they will not only keep their current fans happy and involved, but they will also reach more people, become more known and hence their music will sell more. As a fan, I can tell you I am really invested in the story they are telling and I'm so hyped to see how everything keeps unfolding, I have also been witness of people who wasn´t into the band before getting into them after watching them performing during a music festival just because of how complex and well done their narrative is told and implemented; they become hypnotised by it. So, are narratives and transmedia storytelling really a good tool for musicians? Could these tools help them increase the engagement and impact of their music? Yes, I do think that narratives and transmedia storytelling open a whole lot of possibilities for musicians and the music industry in general; if they are carried out correctly and really thought and planned through; and I think Bring Me The Horizon are the perfect example for that. The way they permeate everything they do with their narratives is just amazing and you can see that they spend a lot of time planning it and the way they are gonna implement it through the different mediums; they have become one of the biggest rock bands in the UK and in the world, and they continue on growing their fanbase not only because of how great their music is, but also in great part because they attract new people through the way they tell and sell their stories.

Kiss of Death Tour '24 Part 2
Everyone has that one band that when they announce a tour, you’re feverishly scrolling through dates trying to find the town closest to you. For me, that’s anytime Ice Nine Kills announces a tour. Especially if In This Moment is right alongside them. As If Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment didn’t excite you enough, they brought along heavy metal hitters Avatar and friends TX2. Let’s also take a second to appreciate the fact that this tour was also named The Kiss of Death Tour 24’. How perfect for any horror loving, metal fans. With the newer Outer Harbor Terminal B venue in Buffalo, NY hosting, this Wednesday night show would prove to be the highlight of anyone’s week. Fans quickly filled into the outdoor venue, securing spots in the pit as well as the lawn. What I loved about this venue was the openness of it. No matter where you stood or sat, the stage was in perfect view. Alongside a row of food trucks, drink stations and shaded areas, everything was easily accessible.
Up first was TX2. Not surprisingly there was huge crowd that had already formed for Fort Collins native TX2. Die-hard fans with their faces panted to mirror the bands lead singer anxiously awaited the bands opening song. As soon as the first chord hit the crowd was instantly drawn to the bands heavy hitting sound. If you haven’t heard of TX2 make sure to give them a listen. The catchy hooks and melodic beats of this bands sound is unmistakable. A big message to TX2’s music is their passion for mental health. By creating a safe space for fans to vent and lift each other up, they’ve become of a part of huge movement in creating a positive atmosphere for everyone. The raw lyrics of their hip-hop/pop punk sound has proven popular to fans and has made them a fan favorite for all ages. “ I Would Hate Me Too”, “Vampire By Rumor”, and “Black Wedding” proved to be crowd favorites with fans almost singing louder than the singer himself.
Swedish heavy metal band Avatar took the stage next. Starting off the set, lead singer Johannes Eckerstrom emerged in his signature face paint out of a giant box on stage. The band donned matching red jackets with Eckerstrom as the ring leader of the group, representing their great metal circus theme. Their energetic, aggressive sound quickly warmed up the crowd. It became apparent that these guys had a large following with the amount of painted faces in the crowd and rabid fans singing along to every lyric. Everyone seemed to be hypnotized by the synchronized head banging of the band. Taking a break to drink from his gasoline jug, Eckerstrom spit out constant energy to the crowd who hung on his every song. Popular songs like “Dance Devil Dance”, “The Dirt I’m Buried In”, and my favorite “Hail the Apocalypse.”
In This Moment was up next and man was this crowd ready. The two bands always make for an appetizing performance. Various dunce caps could be seen throughout the crowd with the word “WHORE” in bright red. A popular song from the band that was pulled from singer Maria Brink’s honest and raw relationship with redefining the word . Her message empowering people, especially woman, to not let words and their definitions define you. The set was setup with a high stair case leading up to a huge platform, various mannequin heads surrounding the eerie setup and plenty of pyro and smoke machines to fulfill your every wish. Brink’s held the attention of the crowd along with her signature Blood Girls the whole night, changing into various outfits of red, black and white. Brink’s almost raspy edge to her voice is one of my favorites and makes her truly original. “The Purge”, “Blood”, and “Big Bad Wolf” were among just some of the aggressive metal hits the band played throughout the night. With In This Moment being such a hard hitting mix of ear splitting riffs and deep haunting lyrics, its easy to see why people love them.
As crew members started to set up for Ice Nine Kills the crowd was vibrating with excitement. If you didn’t know these guys are huge horror film lovers so it would only be appropriate that their set portrayed that. Various fake body parts were scattered alongside the stage as well as various television screens, a gore themed microphone stand, and a huge blow up creature holding a knife. As the lights went out the venue quieted in silence eagerly awaiting what was to come next. Zombies emerged from side stage as the band appeared. Matched in white shirts and khakis with blood splattered across them, they quickly took their places on the high platforms above the crowd. Exploding into their first song “Rainy Day,” the crowd flocked even closer to the stage. Lead singer Spencer Ink immediately grabbed the attention of the crowd with his non-stop energy. Hyping fans up even more by running back and forth along stage encouraging them to sing along with him. The bands beautifully blended mix of metal and punk along with their high level production makes them truly unique. Throughout the night they pulled inspiration from top horror movies such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, and a fan favorite IT. At one point a police officer wheeled a Hannibal Lecter with matching straight jacket and mask. In true Silence of the Lambs fashion, Hannibal Lecter broke free and attacked the police offer. A perfectly bloody scene that meshed perfectly with the bands overall persona. The night continued with fan favorites “Thank God It’s Friday,” “IT is the End,” “American Nightmare”, and “Welcome to Horrorwood.” Ice Nine Kills truly delivers an entrancing show every time.
If you haven’t gotten tickets for the Kiss of Death Tour Part 2, act now. This is a truly haunting tour you don’t want to miss out on. The tour continues through mid-September and tickets are still available for most dates so act fast!

Shocking Factual Statements About Marriage Help Told By A Specialist
Many women walk around with a guilty-until-proven-innocent attitude toward men, she said. Additionally you might want to generate some rules regarding if you keep in touch together every time you engage in a cybersex activity (before or later) or even if you House Wife Bangers have a mutual understanding that you can play with without consultation. Without piercing your crush’s name onto the human body. The museum’s exhibits and programs show visitors the way the town’s legacy has evolved, and helps them join dating sites with other patrons.
That’s a sampling of the copy currently up on https://www.needlesxpins.com as of January 2024, which is a bummer (House Wife Bangers unfortunately does not link to their upcoming tour dates). Not paying your hosting is normally one of the Seven Seals of Indie Band Apocalypse*, which would be a real shame in the case of Vancouver’s Needles//Pins, a band that held on for a good ten years and dropped one of the most durable garage punk records of the present century. I’m still over the moon for their debut 22-minute EP/LP situation 12:34 from 2012, one of those records I’ll still be raving about as “the essence of rock ‘n’ roll” at age 51 while feverish from some kind of tropical intestinal parasite that now thrives in formerly frosty Montreal. Each of these eleven songs boasts an indelible hook, just-right level of bite, and a frothy beat, like Gremlins playing a ‘50s sock hop. I dunno man, I just want this band to be playing one of my locals every Saturday night for eternity, for cigarettes and whiskey not to hurt me so much, for infinite room for impromptu tattoos. I’m a simple man at heart, but if I’m lucky I’m simple like these songs: timeless and deceptively good to lean on when you need to.

Chapter One
Word Count: 1,500
The intruders' hands were tied behind their backs. There is a young woman who sighs out of annoyance seeing them not awake yet from one of the children's quirks. They were doing what they were trained to do to protect their home.
"Why aren't we killing them, yet even torturing them for invading our territory? Miss Glitch." An older man with tattoos all over his body and many burn scars on his face from his old days of being an assassin.
"Daichi. I made a promise a long time ago to their teacher. He wouldn't lose another student. I will admit it was the stupidest bold thing they could ever do. I am not usually here on the main base and taking care of business on the other bases." The [hair color]ed young lady pulls a chair to sit down, knowing they are gonna be waking up soon enough.
"Was it that time? You decide to try to become a hero enrolling in that prestigious school. You were acting to be a normal teenager once in your life to blend in with the normal ones." Daichi recalls when you were 15 years old.
You left the mafia life, having no other choice because there would have been lethal consequences. If you didn't leave, you may have lost your life. He was more of a father than your biological one. He was the one who helped you get a new identity using your mother's last name and getting in contact with your biological mother who left your father to find out how abusive and dangerous he was. She lost the custody battle against your biological father due to him having the money to bribe the judge.
You thought back to a couple of years ago, where it felt like a good dream to be too good to be real. You had a normal teenage social life where you have friends around your age instead of being way older than you and weren't afraid of you. Those connections that you made were genuine, not faked despite everyone thinking it was.
You were just a child who wanted to be accepted and cared about.
There was a knock to reveal the 8-year-old girl that snaps out of your daydream state before ordering her to come inside.
"You can go ahead, wake them up, dear." You smiled at the young child who returned it, before running off to touching their skin.
"Wake up." Her command was crystal clear, causing all four of them to stir awake.
You stand up and reach into your pocket, your knife flicking it up with a snap. The sound of the knife opening cutting through the tense air.
"You can go back to playing with the kids. This is gonna be a conversation for the adults." Daichi walks the young child out of the room. Daichi hands her over a piece of candy that is technically like treasure due to the state of the world.
The four started jumping up and down on their wooden chairs to break them. They have the right to be scared. They realized who was standing in front of them. You had killed their friend in cold blood all those years ago at the beginning of the apocalypse. You were approaching them with the calm expression similar to their encounters with serial killers.
You walk around their chairs despite them moving around attempting to break free. You cut the restraints off of them swiftly. You didn't flinch when all of them turned around to try to land an attack on you.
You let your body become ghost-like letting their punches phase through you causing them to be surprised. You took your hands to make them solid again and grabbed the two colored-haired and the green-haired smash into each other heads harshly. You teleport out from the tight spot a few feet away from them.
Your body reverts to normal and takes a seat casually.
"Are we gonna throw punches at each other or we are going to talk about how stupid the four of you are for walking into mafia base? You only got lucky. I was even here because you would have met your end by my soldiers from the normal protocol when it comes to outsiders invading our base." You laid back on your chair and crossed your arms against your chest.
The green-haired male was hesitant and took a seat on the chair that he was originally tied to. This caused a domino effect among the group.
"We were sent by Pixie Bob and Eraserhead to recruit the leader, but... we didn't know it would be you." He lays out the facts.
"Midoriya, why would they even want to recruit m- Unless you guys are planning to travel in other territories that aren't in my restriction." You voiced your thoughts.
"We may have found a way to find a cure. The downside is we are lacking supplies to complete it." Midoriya stares into your eyes with confidence.
"If you know what you need, I may already have it. I can spare some of my laboratory materials." You crack your neck, relaxing your shoulders from the tension of thinking. You need to fight.
"Don't take us like dumbasses who can't use their brain. What's the price?" The sandy blond male standing up from his chair.
You smirk mischievously. "It's the simplest thing. You can easily provide. Bakugo."
Bakugou's face scrunches up in frustration. He can't read your body language like before. He can't tell if you are teasing or being serious.
"We aren't trading Bakugo. If that's what you are thinking." The two-colored male responds.
"Todoroki, the naive one as always. I don't want him per se. You can keep him. What I want is a gallon of his sweat, in exchange for the materials I have on hand." You say, before standing up.
The shock of all their faces hearing something they never have heard from negotiating with other survivors. Bakugou's sweat.
"Do you even have what we wan-" The black-haired man with the red tips says, sticking his hand into his pocket to find it empty?
You pull out the list of materials that you stole from his pockets. This automatically causes them to search on their person to find out they have been unarmed.
"You are insane if you think. I was gonna leave you guys armed with knives to small pistols and guns. To answer your question, Kirishima. I do have them and you will get your weapons back when you depart from the base. It's a primary rule that is in this haven. No weapons allowed if you aren't on duty." You casually say as you double-check upon the list of materials.
"That's the stupidest thing I ever heard." Bakugou retorts.
"It's to prevent a tragedy if a minor doesn't know how to use a gun. This base is a primary home for families who have young children into orphans and create weapons. But do we have a deal or not?" You look up at them and fold the paper, slipping it back into your pocket.
"What are you gonna do with my sweat?" Bakugou asks.
"Make explosive bombs, of course. What do you think? What it takes to have the amount of territory I possess. I have to have an upper hand on handing the other mafia groups to keep everyone in my territory safe. I am gonna let you four think about it for the night." You turn around and walk to the door to open it. You wave your hand to signal someone to come over.
The same teenager who was in combination with the young child from earlier comes inside with two swords strapped on his back. You clap your hands on the young boy's shoulders.
"Speedy here, will give you guys a quick tour of the base and take you guys to take a quick shower because you four hella stink. Getting something to eat from the cafeteria and where you will be sleeping. He will be taking care of you while I am doing the rest of my business before you guys come interpreting it. He considers him as your watchdog. If you misbehave, he is allowed to knock the fuck out. He may be young, but he is deadly. See you boys later."
You walk away leaving your former classmates speechless. You are in a way welcoming them into your base knowing they don't trust you, which is why. You are using a young teenager to be their tour guide.
"I don't suggest acting out. We were ordered not to harm any of you, but we are still allowed to knock you out and kick you out without your weapons." Speed comments.
"We can take your punk ass down, easily."
"You hesitated because we are minors. We have been growing up in the apocalypse for a long time now. We aren't children anymore. We are survivors for a reason."

Phil opened his mouth to speak again but was stopped by the sudden realisation that firstly this man was gorgeous, and secondly that his eyes, despite the depth of colour, were the most dead and cold that he had ever seen, the previous glare the only speck of emotion present. His mouth remained open as he struggled to regain his thoughts and calm his now wildly beating heart, a sudden large breaking wave the only thing that brought him back to his senses."
