ARCHANGEL METATRON- The Scribe of Heaven (T.H.O.T.H.)
Dear Readers This is a very special Article today, and it took me like 4 days to grasp it clear enough to put it into a human explanation. I have always been pretty bad, I thought, in math and geometry. And few days ago, suddenly as they like to surprise I guess in miraculous ways, Archangel Metatron this time connected to me. But very strongly. I have been led to a unique story about Twin Flames…

The 'Aziraphale Still Believes in Heaven' Take
Is one that I see so often. Too often. The way many fans (still) say Aziraphale is naĆÆve, he's never learned anything, he does not really change; Metatron offered him a promotion and he happily jumped on it. Keen to go back to Heaven. Still in their clutches. Leaving Crowley behind. Cos nothing lasts forever. Amirite? Poor long-suffering Crowley. So patient. Goes through so much. Aww. Takes that say that because Crowley never told Aziraphale about the venom in Gabriel's "Shut your stupid mouth and die already", Aziraphale has no idea that Heaven is not the good guys, that he still believes they are on the side of truth and light.
Takes that claim Aziraphale wants Crowley to come to Heaven and be an angel again so they can be happy like in the good old times. Takes that basically say that Aziraphale is stupid. And blind. LISTEN Do you mean the Aziraphale who knew before Crowley did that something is rotten in the state of Denmark, that things are wrong and one can get in a lot of trouble for a thing as minor as a suggestion to improve things.
Tumblr media
Is this the Aziraphale that would seriously suggest to Crowley, who he was immediately deeply anxious over, to go back to 'good old times'? What good old times? When? How is Heaven a place of light when a bunch of angels comes down to Earth to bully and PUNCH ONE OF THEIR OWN? Why would he think they are the light when they shame him for being who he is? (Gabriel's: "Lose the gut" comes to mind)
And yes, Aziraphale wants to do good. But that's not tied to him being an angel. And it's not a bad thing ffs! Crowley does good as well. Aziraphale might be the only one who knows, but he knows. Maybe getting humans out of the Garden to seek knowledge was always a (certainty) possibility, and maybe not, but it was Aziraphale's decision to arm them.
Tumblr media
And She didn't make him Fall for it. And do you remember when:
Tumblr media
Aziraphale openly questioned whether Heaven was actually doing what God actually wanted? He did what he thought was right. He trusted Crowley over his fellow angels, with his own sense of rightness. He and Crowley saved the kids that Aziraphale triple checked the Archangels saw no problem in letting die to make things easier. And She didn't make him Fall for it. In Edinburgh:
Tumblr media
Aziraphale re-evaluated his assumption that grave-robbing is bad and did a full 180 degree turn when he learned it can be spun another way, trying to save the grave-robbing girl AND the possible future lives of children that could be helped via more learning. And when we come to Metatron and his threats, we don't see the full conversation, but don't we see enough? Aziraphale says that he's not interested. Metatron keeps nagging at him. Pushing the symbolic coffee from Coffee or Death at him. Flattering him with obvious untruths. After all, Aziraphale knows what Heaven thinks of him. He tried to reason with Metatron before. Metatron tells him they know how deep his disobedience lies:
Tumblr media
Aziraphale is not a fool. He knows this is an offer of come quietly or we will find a way to destroy you and your demon this time. Aziraphale didn't have to hear Metatron's quip of: "For one prince of Heaven to be cast into the outer darkness makes a good story. For it to happen twice, makes it look like there is some kind of institutional problem." He knows the system is rotten. He knows for a LONG time. Did you see his face when he met Muriel and realised what a lonely sad existence they lead. AND Crowley doesn't love Aziraphale despite the fact that he's being used to get out of trouble, being made to listen about random things the angel enjoys from symphonies to food and plays, and who continues to believe in goodness and kindness and who keeps telling him no. CROWLEY LOVES AZIRAPAHLE BECAUSE OF THOSE THINGS AND because he sees Aziraphale for who he is, an angel who thinks for himself, changes his mind, angel who is brave, who stands for the right thing, who sacrifices his own happiness for the safety of others, especially the demon he loves. They are the same. They are lonely. They are one of a kind. And they love each other.
Aziraphale wants to stay at home. In the home he built for himself and Crowley. On Earth where he's found so much to love. But he knows it is impossible. As Crowley confesses his love, Aziraphale struggles to stay on his plan. He'll miss Crowley terribly. He wants them to be together. For him, they were an 'us' the whole S2. However tenuously. Fragile existence and all that.
Tumblr media
But even this was ripped away from him. And whatever he's planning, he knows he needs to do the first steps on his own. He can't submit Crowley to the torture that being in Heaven is going to be for him, an unwanted, despised angel. He can't make him come. He can only ask him. And Crowley said no.
Tumblr media
So he leaves. Furious. And determined. Whether it is to burn the place down or find God and ask Her all the questions to Her face I don't know. But his love will push him through.
And if I see one more simplistic take of the snarky demon is really good isn't he, so that means the stuffy angel is bad (and needs to change to be worthy of the demon) I will curse their dreams with lines about shades of grey. AZIRAPHALE AND CROWLEY ALREADY LOVE EACH OTHER

Gabriel was an angel. There was no denying that fact.
Not in the metaphorical sense, or the hypothetical sense, or any other sort of sense. He was an honest to god, grace wielding, smirk wearing, heaven sent angel. You didn't have to peek his true form to know any of that. If anything, you'd seen the ghostly shadow of his wings enough times for you to eye him with trepidation, only for the moment to be broken with a snarky quip and a wink afterwards.Ā
It wasn't any of those things that made Gabriel angelic in your eyes, though. In fact, the novelty of angels for you had worn off years ago. Ever since Castiel had shown up in that barn, wearing the tannest of tan of trench coats and directing that righteous gaze of his at Dean, you'd found that your capacity for anything biblical had reached its peak. Anything beyond that had been labeled For Later and shoved deep down in a box with everything else disturbing in your life. To say that the box had been full for a while would be an understatement.
When Gabriel had first been outed as Mr. Archangel himself, you'd shrugged. It made enough sense, you'd thought at the time, looking at him from outside the ring of holy fire you and the brothers had set up in that warehouse. He'd made the three of you run around in TV shows all day, and even if he did appear to have penchant for sweets, upon a closer look he defiantly wasn't just a trickster. If Cas could be an angel, all squinted frowns and tilted heads, then why couldn't Gabriel? Not that he really had a reason to lie that day.
It took you a while to forget about golden hair and pink lips. Even more to forget the stench of burned feathers as the owner of them lay dead on a red carpet floor, slain by the hands of his own brother. The years had come and gone since your less than wonderful trip to that hotel, a number of both new and old companions along with them. Some deaths hit harder than the others, and you had more then enough battle scars to prove it. You were still reeling over the death of Crowley when Ketch had showed up in the bunker, Gabriel trailing along after him, all vacant stares and a downturnedĀ
Shame was the first emotion you'd seen from him in years. It was almost appropriate that fear came next.
He'd screamed through bloody stitches for the entire first week. And once Sam had calmed him down enough to get them off, he just refused to speak at all, avoiding everyone gaze as he shut himself in the farthest room down the hall. Under any other circumstance you would have asked why it had to be your room in particular he'd taken refuge in, but the longer your door remained locked and bolted, the more your complaints wilted.
Maybe it was time that helped him to heal, or the knowledge that while he was in the bunker he had three of the deadliest hunters watching his back. A small part of you was selfish enough to think that maybe the sandwiches you'd leave outside his door, just to come back and find missing, was a part of it.
It was only when you'd woken up one day to the smell of waffles coming from the kitchen that you knew Gabriel was back, and this time for the better.
The weeks that followed his return were some of the better one's you'd experienced in nearly half a decade. In between stopping Lucifer twice, as well as the rest of his fucked up family tree, you'd quit taking time for yourself. Little tasks and achievements that seemed insignificant in the face of everything else were suddenly brought back into the limelight per request of Gabriel. Movie marathon nights with buckets of candy, and handmade baked goods were among some of the archangels favorite things to do while stuck in the bunker. At times you wondered if your presence for those things really were necessary, or if Gabriel just liked spending time with you. It wasn't until Dean pointed out that Gabriel was all but back to his normal self that you realized just how impactful your midday rendezvous with the angel had been.
Coming out of the shell Asmodeus had placed him in was hard for him to do, and even harder for you all to watch. He refused to share anything about his time in captivity unless it was of the utmost importance in stopping Lucifer; not that any of you were pushing him to share. If there was anyone out there that could understand the lasting effects that fire and brimstone could leave on someone, it was you three.Ā
You hadn't been foolish enough to think for a moment that he wasn't still broken, even after he shuffled out of your room all those weeks ago. Gabriel still had his moments, and plenty of them. Moments where he wouldn't speak to anyone, or where his playful energy would dissipate at the first signs of anything demonic. He would often pause in his speaking, like a car radio that had lost it's signal, a set of endless whiskey eyes replaying the worst of the worst for an audience of one while you did your best to pull him out of it.
And while you had seen him get lost in himself enough times to practically write a book on trauma victims, Dean was right. He had been getting better. He'd let himself laugh at jokes more often— your jokes —with that boisterous yelp of his. It was always rushed at first, as if he was going to explode if he didn't get the sound out fast enough, before tampering off into a slow round of chuckles that never failed to bring the corners of your lips up into a smile of their own.
Once you discovered how much you loved his laughter, you started noticing all the other little things about him that filled you with warmth. It was only once you realized that you had begun to seek his company out in the dead of night, your own nightmares from hunts passed plaguing you, that you knew, truly, just how deep in you were.
He cornered you one day while you were putting groceries away, a frantic mess of jumbled nerves and unsure fingers twisting around each other. He said that he'd never had to do this before. That he'd never had trouble getting a read on someone else, on their feelings, like he did with you. His worries could always be solved with a snap of his fingers and a flirty wiggle of his eyebrows; or at least they used to be able to. But you weren't just someone else to him anymore. You hadn't been for a long time, and this time, Gabriel wanted to do things properly.
Sam and Dean would be pissed the next morning when they realized that you'd left the beer sitting out all night. But when you were crossing the kitchen in long strides to reach your angel, hands reaching out to tangle themself in Gabriel's hair for purchase, kissing him like the world really was about to end— you couldn't find it in yourself to care.

Did I randomly make a WHB and Obey Me oc? Yes, yes I did. Why? I have no idea, but here he is.
Tumblr media
(Yes, it's a picrew, I could not be bothered to roll out my art skills from the attic. Considering his personality, he can fit into either fandom, and I was too lazy to make another one, so deal with it.)
šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.•°•.šŸ‡.
š–€š–—š–Žš–Šš–‘ - Archangel of Wisdom and Jubilation
š–¤“š•½š–”š–‘š–Šš–¤“
Uriel was created to fill the role of spreading knowledge, wisdom and joy to humankind, though, after the disappearance of God/ the war in the Celestial Realm, he became bitter toward humankind and the demons.
š–¤“š•¬š–‘š–‘š–Šš–Œš–Žš–Šš–“š–ˆš–Šš–¤“
While Uriel's allegiance will always lie with his beloved creator, he answers directly to the seraph Raphael, at his beck and call no matter the location or the situation he was summoned in. So long as it is his beloved God's will, Uriel will follow Raphael even into certain death.
š–¤“š•¬š–Œš–Šš–¤“
Uriel was the fourth archangel to be created by god; in other words, he is exceptionally ancient.
š–¤“š•Æš–Žš–˜š–•š–”š–˜š–Žš–™š–Žš–”š–“š–¤“
At first glance, Uriel comes off as a kind-hearted and easygoing angel, however, he is an especially cruel individual. While he always sports a soft, almost fatherly smile, he can say the most audacious and ignorant things. He treats demons, humans, and in some cases even some lesser angels as if they don't have the capacity to think. Being the archangel of knowledge is something that he uses to his advantage to gain the upper hand in conversations, although, he has a tendency to gain interest in those who have knowledge of things he does not. However, depending on how knowledgeable that person is, Uriel's interest may cross over into a sexual interest or even an obsession.
š–¤“š•øš–†š–“š–“š–Šš–—š–Žš–˜š–’š–˜š–¤“
Uriel's habits include harshly tugging on locks of hair when he's stressed, clasping his hands in a prayer hold when he's at rest, and biting his knuckles when he's focused.
š–¤“š•¬š–›š–”š–ˆš–†š–™š–Žš–”š–“š–˜š–¤“
Reading by candlelight, discovering and experimenting with hair care products, gardening, praying, admiring Raphael, praising Raphael, and playing the harp.
š–¤“š•š–Šš–‘š–Žš–Šš–‹š–˜š–¤“
Uriel believes that, because he is an angel, he is above all other instances of life that do not originate from heaven/the celestial realm. In his eyes, all life that is not angelic is an eyesore and deserves to be wiped from existence as Raphael had said to him once before.
š–¤“š•¬š–˜š–˜š–”š–ˆš–Žš–†š–™š–Žš–”š–“š–˜š–¤“
(Obey Me!)
God: As god is Uriel's creator, he loves and reveres him with every fiber of his being, and although the two hardly have any one-on-one interaction, Uriel will do anything asked of him by his loving creator.
Michael: As he holds the title of the Chief Angel, Uriel holds deep respect and admiration for him and will follow his orders without question, as he believes that out of all angels, Michael is the closest to God, so his decisions must be correct.
Raphael: Because God personally assigned Uriel to work under Raphael, Uriel feels that he has a much closer relationship with him compared to the rest of his superiors. Raphael's cold demeanor upon their first meeting was misinterpreted by Uriel as the seraph looking down on him for his lack of knowledge, thus starting his deep infatuation with Raphael.
Simeon: Uriel has had a deep connection with Simeon since the two met, despite their very differing temperament and views on certain topics. Uriel once stated that he would trust Simeon with helping the next archangel of knowledge should he ever die for any reason.
Luke: Despite Luke being a lesser angel, Uriel respects the young angel for his closeness to Michael.
Lucifer: Even though Lucifer fell from grace, Uriel can't help but respect and even yearn for him. The seraph of humility and arguably the most beautiful angel in the celestial realm (after Raphael, of course); Lucifer was Uriel's role model.
Satan: Despite hating each other's guts, both Uriel and Satan never miss a meeting for their weekly book club. The two talk for hours; having well thought and in depth discussions about the book of the week. It would be a nice image if you ignored the very obvious passive aggression and down right rancid aura that seems to radiat from the two.
Asmodeus: Uriel often admires Asmodeus for his beauty, although, he's not as beautiful as Raphael, of course. But he is still a rose in a garden of weeds in the end.
Barbatos: While he certainly doesn't like the fact that he's a demon, Uriel can't help but admire Barbatos' dedication to fulfilling his duty as the prince's steward. The man's patience seems to stretch on forever.
Diavolo: Uriel despises Diavolo because he has Lucifer under his thumb. Despite what Lucifer tells him of the prince's kindness and empathy, he just can't bring himself to see the good in Diavolo.
Solomon: Solomon always avoids conversation with uriel after their introduction for some reason, but Uriel still tries to speak with him anyway, he knows that Solomon must definitely have information that Uriel has little knowledge of and he's desperate to learn.
MC: Uriel considers them to be more of a pet or a wandering stray animal than anything else; seeing no real value in them as they are a human. (WHB?)
God: As god is Uriel's creator, he loves and reveres him with every fiber of his being, and although the two hardly had any one-on-one interaction, Uriel will do anything perceived as the will of his loving creator.
Michael: As he holds the title of the Chief Angel, Uriel holds deep respect and admiration for him and will follow his orders without question, as he believes that out of all angels, Michael is the closest to God, so his decisions must be by God's will even in his absence. The only reason Uriel would refuse an order from Michael is if it clashed with an order that he received from Raphael.
Gabriel: Because of his status as a seraph, Uriel holds deep respect for admiration for him.
Zeruel: Before they began their raid on "Hell" and even after that, Uriel would occasionally hitch a ride on Zeruel's back or shoulders. Usually, shoving some other angel off so that he could take his preferred spot, Zeruel never seemed to mind though.
Barachiel: As a fellow angel of joy, Uriel and Barachiel get along very well, with the cherub often following him into battle and listening to his rants about why Raphael is logically superior to Gabriel.
Lucifer: Even though Lucifer fell from grace, Uriel can't help but respect and even yearn for him. The seraph of humility and arguably the most beautiful angel in the heavens (after Raphael, of course); Lucifer was Uriel's role model.
Leviathan: Uriel has a deep hatred for the Demon King Leviathan for the simple reason that the demon makes him feel insecure about his looks.
Gusion: After overhearing conversations between many demons in passing about how intelligent Gusion is and after encountering him on the battlefield, he became flustered by his smarts and ended up letting the demon live by accident.
MC: He regards all humans as dogs (because he hates them) or pests. Uriel has only met them once, but he tried to bring them back to Raphael, only to be stopped by a feral Satan.
š–¤“š•®š–”š–’š–‡š–†š–™ š•±š–šš–“š–ˆš–™š–Žš–”š–“š–¤“
Ranged Sniper; he fires his loose feathers at unfathomable speeds toward his target, usually only bothering to finish off those already weakened by his comrades. Uriel is actually very proficient with a spear and could've been on the front lines, but due to his aversion to being covered in the blood of demons, chose to be a ranged unit instead.
š–¤“š•»š–—š–”š–‹š–Žš–ˆš–Žš–Šš–“š–ˆš–Žš–Šš–˜š–¤“
Expert spearmanship, patient and versatile teaching, easily adapts on the go, expertise with string instruments, and eidetic memory.
š–¤“š•»š–—š–Šš–‹š–Šš–—š–Šš–“š–ˆš–Šš–˜š–¤“
God and Angels (the three seraphim specifically (especially Raphael)), learning, instructing others, reading by candlelight, admiring Raphael, receiving orders from Raphael, praising God, and taking care of his hair.
š–¤“š•½š–Šš–•š–šš–‘š–˜š–Žš–”š–“š–˜š–¤“
Non-angelic beings (obviously), getting his angelic robes dirty, unintelligent individuals, sweet foods, poorly taken care of books, "Hell", The Devildom, and the Human Realm.
š–¤“š•»š–†š–—š–†š–•š–š–Žš–‘š–Žš–†š–¤“
Sophophilia: sexual gratification from the act of gaining knowledge or learning. This is displayed both when Uriel meets Raphael for the first time and is enraptured by his knowledge of God's will, leading him to need to leave due to becoming physically excited, and when he encounters the demon Gusion and is drawn in by his intelligent aura.
š–¤“š•æš–—š–”š–šš–‡š–‘š–Šš–˜š–¤“
The Demon King Leviathan's hair appears much more silky and luxurious than his own, he was chosen to go down to The Devildom with Raphael (although it was Raphael who suggested he go, so he can't really complain.), and his feathers have begun to loosen due to the stress of being surrounded by idiots.
š–¤“š•»š–š–”š–‡š–Žš–†š–˜š–¤“
Athazagoraphobia: the intense or irrational fear of being forgotten, or of forgetting someone or something. Atychiphobia: the intense or irrational fear of failure.
š–¤“š•øš–”š–—š–†š–‘š–Žš–™š–žš–¤“
Uriel doesn't particularly care whether his actions are viewed as 'good' or 'bad by anyone but the three seraphim and God. Thus, he'll usually center his moral compass around theirs instead of having his own.
š–¤“š•®š–šš–—š–—š–Šš–“š–™ š•½š–Šš–˜š–Žš–‰š–Šš–“š–ˆš–žš–¤“
(OM!) Purgatory Hall in the Devildom/(WHB?) Nomadic movements through hell while slaying demons and following behind the seraph Raphael.
š–¤“š•¬š–—š–™š–Žš–‹š–†š–ˆš–™š–¤“
Suspiciously Stained Book: The book that Uriel is often seen carrying around and reading in his free time. It is thought to be a personal copy of the Bible, but what is actually inside is still unknown. It's rumored that one time an angel was able to take a peak inside while uriel had it open and saw a bunch of drawings and diagrams of things they dare not speak of. But hey, do you see that on the cover there? Those suspicious white-ish stains, I wonder where they're from.
Tumblr media
š–¤“š•±š–šš–“ š•±š–†š–ˆš–™š–˜š–¤“
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel does not like animals, especially those with fur. The only ones that he can stand are birds.
ā˜ļøŽ Even though he won't admit it, Uriel considers (OM!) Lucifer, (OM!) Satan, (OM!) Barbatos, (OM!) Solomon, and (WHB?) Gusion as potential sexual partners and love interests.
ā˜ļøŽ Although Lucifer fell from grace so long ago, Uriel still has a deeply ingrained respect for him, so much so that he still calls him 'Sir Lucifer' like he used to back then.
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel has been banned from the Great Archive of the Heavens many times due to how often he gets off when reading books he hadn't read previously. The lesser angels assigned to cleaning the archive had complained about the stains and wet patches he kept leaving in the seats he occupied.
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel and Simeon have been friends since Simeon's creation; with Uriel being present when the younger angel first opened his eyes.
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel had always wanted to meet (WHB?)Solomon, but never got the chance to as he was too busy fulfilling the duties assigned to him by God through (WHB?)Raphael.
ā˜ļøŽ When he and (OM!)Raphael first arrived at Purgatory Hall, Uriel insisted that the two share a room instead of having individual ones, thankfully for him, (OM!)Raphael agreed.
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel finds himself more attracted to a person with status than a person with strength, but he still prefers smarts over status.
ā˜ļøŽ Uriel absolutely can't stand sweet foods, he prefers his meals to be on the more bitter side, favoring fruits that make his jaw ache with its sour taste.
ā˜ļøŽ One day, Uriel would like to try his hand at pottery.

š–¤“š•³š–†š–‘š–”š–¤“
Uriel's halo features either a large sun framed by two smaller stars or a curled feather or quill wrapping around the Hebrew character for knowledge, 'ידע', depending on where he is depicted and what he is representing at the time; jubilation or knowledge. However, in some instances, Uriel's halo is a combination of the two.
In the past, Uriel has been teased by other angels of the same or higher ranking about the shape of the feather in his halo. It's become an incredibly sore spot for him since then and as a result you might be able to catch him looking at it in reflective surfaces with a face of embarrassment and disdain. It doesn't look like a human child drew it... right? It's not wonky at all...

šŸ‘¤ <怌You dog, where did Sir Raphael wander off to? Don't pretend you don't know; his radiance is too hard to miss.怍
Choice 1: 怌Er... whose this? How did you get my number?怍> Choice 2: 怌Sir Raphael...? Is an angel messaging me now?怍>
šŸ‘¤ <怌That doesn't matter. Just tell me where you saw him last, will you. You're wasting precious time that instead could be spent watching Sir Raphael rid this realm of demons.怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Honestly, you humans. The only good one of the lot of you was that human Solomon. I overheard Sir Raphael saying that he was very intelligent and talented in alchemy. It's a pity that someone of such intelligence is a part of a lousy species.怍
Choice 1: 怌Wait, you met Solomon? What was he like?怍> Choice 2: 怌I'm jealous, everyone has met Solomon...怍>
šŸ‘¤ <怌Well, it's not as if I met that human per se, but I did overhear Sir Raphael and the other two esteemed Seraphim speaking about him a long time ago. I was both envious and in awe of them to be able to meet a favored creation of our God.怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Oh to be there when he was up in the heavens, to pick his brain and feast upon his delicious knowledge. This event alone is yet another piece of proof why Sir Raphael is the best out of each of the esteemed Seraphim. He's so cool; with his brilliantly shining halo and that mysterious demeanor of his~怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Wait a minute! Why am I telling you this? It's none of your business in the first place! Nosey dog, quickly tell me where Sir Raphael has gone, I can't lag behind for too long!怍
Choice 1: 怌I'm nosey? Aren't you the one rambling on?怍> Choice 2: 怌How am I supposed to know who's who?怍>
šŸ‘¤ <怌You dare still evade my question? You humans are such a pain in the neck; always making excuses. Surely it's not that hard to tell the difference between a seraph and any other lowly angel? Are you implying that Sir Raphael is average? You fiend!怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Fine then. Since you want to fool around and attempt to deceive me, I shall find where you are and smite you. You dared to disrespect my esteemed and radiant lord, Sir Raphael, so you must be prepared to reap what you sew, you dirty dog.怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌I shall find you and personally deliver your corpse to my lord, surely he'll be pleased with me after bringing him a fine meal. He might even praise me with that cool look he does~怍
Choice 1: 怌Man, you sure love that Raphael guy huh?怍> Choice 2: 怌Jeez, I didn't think I'd talk to a simp today...怍>
šŸ‘¤ <怌Of course! While I'm not sure what you're trying to imply with that wording, I am truly unworthy of him. But, what's not to like? That luxurious golden hair, those deep crimson eyes, that aloof attitude; he's absolute perfection! And on top of it all, he's nearly all knowing! Such a powerful, handsome, and intelligent being is worth the praise I give.怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Now that I think about it, maybe its a good thing that you haven't seen him. Thise filthy demon loving eyes of yours aren't even worthy enough to view his shadow, let alone his ethereal being. I suppose I can't be too angry with you anymore for not seeing him; so I'll let you off for that grievance.怍
Choice 1: 怌I didn't really ask at all, but that's cool I guess.怍> Choice 2: 怌Um... cool?怍>
šŸ‘¤ <怌Yes, he is cool, isn't he? Very cool. The coolest.怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌Say, you wouldn't mind signing a petition that I've written up would you? As a fellow fan of Sir Raphael, you must know that other angels are attempting to imply that he's below Sir Michael in favorability and standing. It's untrue, I say. Completely untrue. You mustn't believe a word they say!怍
šŸ‘¤ <怌I shall forward you the petition in due time. Actually no, I shall add you to a group with my comrads, the petition has already been posted there. I expect to see your signature, my brother in admiration.怍
[You were added to "Sir Raphael's Admirers"]

*Raises hand*
I liked your first deep dive! Quick question though, how do you think Lucifer reconciles his rose-colored memories of heaven with his learned fear of it?
In the show he came across as largely exhausted by dealing with them up until More Than Anything where we see him imagine the bright silhouettes of his siblings and those of the exorcist weapons moving in on Charlie.
It seems like, on some level, he recognizes the danger and corruption there, but the superiority from being an angel is such a strong part of his psyche that he can't let himself acknowledge it outside of these small moments.
Thank you!
I think Lucifer is exhausted with dealing with Heaven, but I think most, if not all, of that exhaustion relates to having to deal with Adam during & after the Exterminations. Considering only a select few people know about the Exterminations, such as Adam and Sera (it didn't look like the rest of the jury/counsel during the Heaven episode knew about it, they all seemed surprised), it'd make sense if Lucifer was working with Adam most of the time, as I can't imagine Sera involved herself in the Exterminations outside of giving Adam the go-ahead.
When I think of Lucifer and his relationship with Heaven overall, I think of ✨religious trauma✨
Growing up in such a strict, religious household (for lack of a better word), however corrupt it was, doesn't take away the happy memories he made there. It doesn't wipe away what he was taught and the rules that he molded his life around.
I think, while Lucifer knows that Heaven isn't all sunshine and rainbows, when he reminisces about Heaven to himself, he lingers on the good times, like his memories with the other archangels, the wonder and awe of creation, watching the galaxy expand, and all the times he spent with his family. All those tender moments he misses having. The ones that make his heart ache with yearning.
It's easy to put people/concepts/things on a pedestal, especially in the privacy of one's own head where you're free to rationalize to your heart's content, and I think when Heaven cast Lucifer out, a part of him believes they were right to do so. He thinks he deserved it.
He didn't fall from Heaven first. He fell from his ego. He was so certain that giving Eve the apple was the right move. He believed, with all his heart (šŸŽ¶or whatever angels havešŸŽ¶) that he was doing what was best - for Lilith, for Eve, for Adam, for humanity.
But he didn't anticipate the consequences of his actions because, in giving Eve (and then Adam later) the fruit of knowledge, did shatter everything Heaven worked for. He shattered the order that the Seraphims, the other archangels, he, himself, had worked tirelessly to maintain. Evil, the entity that they've fought off since the beginning of existence, was now on Earth. In humanity.
And he did that. (And Lilith, technically, but I don't think Lucifer puts much of the blame on her).
Of course Heaven would cast him out. They had every right to. He ruined everything. He's the embodiment of pride because he believed he knew what was best for humanity, he thought he knew better than the Seraphims, the archangels, even God, and the shame he feels is in direct correlation of that pride because he realized he was wrong.
He was wrong.
I think when he was first cast out from Heaven, he was angry. He felt unjustly punished. He felt like Heaven was in the wrong. They were the ones making the mistake. So, he turned to the Sinners to learn about them, their lives, their choices, to prove that he was right, but all he saw was wickedness and cruelty.
Just like Heaven said.
He kept searching.
More wickedness. More cruelty. It got worse the more he looked, but he kept looking, and kept looking, desperate to prove that Heaven was mistaken. That they were the ones being harsh and excessive. But hundreds of years went by and his conviction started to fade and it was replaced by the biting, burning resignation that:
Heaven was right.
He was wrong.
His anger became shame. His confidence became humiliation. His inspiration became inhibition.
He tries to keep creating, to keep dreaming of a better world, to believe in humanity, but he's proved wrong time and time again until he just...loses hope. Loses his fire. Loses his will to dream. Loses himself in his memories, and shame, and humiliation, and homesickness.
Heaven was right.
He was wrong.
And he was foolish for thinking he knew better than them.
And the worst part is, he still misses his home. He misses the Seraphims. The other archangels. He misses the familiarity. Their rules were strict, but when you listened, when you abided by them, you were safe and secure and welcome. You belonged.
And that's the picture Lucifer was painting for Charlie when he told her stories of Heaven. How beautiful it was up there. How everything seemed so perfect. You were always surrounded by good and right and light. Whereas down there, in Hell, it's nothing but wicked and evil and darkness.
The difference between Heaven and Hell is in such stark contrast in his mind, having lived in both, he can't help but yearn for what he knew. For what he remembers. Thinking about it, while it fills him with a bone-deep humiliation to ever face his peers again, he still wants to go back to them.
And, of course, he made a new home with Lilith and Charlie. He has friends. He has the Sins. He made a life for himself in Hell, and it's a good life.
The problem is the Sinners. The reminders of his mistake. The source of his pride and his shame. They are supposed to be his, but he doesn't want them. Their very existence is a blight.
His definition of right and wrong, while not exactly the same as Heaven's anymore, is similar enough that he does look down at Sinners for ending up in Hell. He looks down at them for the sins they committed, which is hypocritical, because he's in Hell for the sins he committed.
But he's different, you see. He did it for them. He was trying to give them a better life and they were the ones who ruined it. They abused the gift he gave them. He was cast out of Heaven for them. He'd lost so much for humanity, and they still have the gall to make all the wrong decisions. They have the gall to continue proving how wrong he was.
And he hates them for it. It's irrational. It's selfish. It's prideful. He's still got some of that holier-than-thou angel mentality, just like Sera when she first met Charlie and Vaggie. "You are blessed to be here." "Of course this is just temporary, I'm sorry you can't stay." Just like St. Peter when he automatically assumed they were in the wrong place, and then told them to "keep their brimstone off the floor" during his song -- however cheerfully and politely he sang it, it was still pompous.
They were all welcoming, but oh so condescending (except, perhaps, Emily, but even she, I think, has that internalized mentality, as she was telling Charlie she was going to love Heaven so much she wouldn't want to go back down to Hell, which I read as still seeing Heaven as superior, even if she doesn't consciously realize it. I mean, of course! It's Heaven! Who wouldn't want to stay, right? It's where everyone wants to be). That's the mentality Lucifer grew up with, and parts of that is still squirreled away inside him, though it's directed at the Sinners. It's not the Hellborns' fault they're in Hell, after all. They were born there. He has comradery with the Sins, they were all a circus troupe once, they're all in Hell together. Lilith and Charlie are his family, the light of his life. Why would he have any animosity towards them?
But the Sinners? Being in Hell is all their doing. It's their fault they ended up there. All they had to do was forsake evil and choose good, and they couldn't even do that.
And no, I don't think Lucifer's thinking IS that black-and-white, I think he can understand Lilith's compassion for Sinners on some level, but I think he tends to lose himself in his emotions when it comes to the Sinners and defaults into the mindset that Heaven = righteousness. And if Heaven, the pillars of good, deemed a Sinner wicked, then there has to be some truth to it, right?
The Sinners have certainty proved themselves to be wicked time and time again, so why would it change? Why should he assume that every Sinner is different when they have been deemed "bad" by the pinnacle of good? The pinnacle of good would know what bad is. It just makes sense.
When Lucifer talks about Heaven outwardly, especially when Charlie wants to set up a meeting with them, he gets nervous. Anxious. Fearful, even. Speaking the words out loud, he starts reliving his trauma, except this time, he sees it all happening to Charlie. Charlie has the same conviction in her dreams that he did. She has the same pride that he has. The same firm, unmovable belief that what she's doing is the right thing. That this is best for humanity.
He sees himself in her, and thus, the only way he sees this ending is her being humiliated. Torn down. Cast out. Left nothing but a husk of what she used to be. He imagines Charlie losing that fire in her. Of losing her will to dream.
He sees her becoming him, and that terrifies him.
He, at least, understands what he would be getting into if he went up to Heaven (the very thought of going back up paralyzes him with fear, but he would know what to expect at least, he's lived there for most of his existence). Charlie doesn't, though. She's only heard stories. The stories he told her about how beautiful and amazing Heaven is.
She doesn't know the rules. She doesn't know how strict they can be, and him not being there with her to protect her from it scares him. He truly doesn't want her to be hurt by them like he was, because he now knows just how capable of hurting someone Heaven is. He'd rather be hurt again, then let what happened to him happen to Charlie.
He REFUSES to let Charlie turn out like him, especially for beings as detestable and vile as Sinners.
I think at the end of the day, Lucifer sees himself as the problem. He's the source of all the conflict (another aspect of his pride!)
Not Heaven. While they abandoned him and cast him out, he still thinks they were right to do so. It hurt, it humiliated him, it fills him with so much pain just thinking about it, but in his mind, they were right.
And he was wrong.
That, and keeping Charlie from making the same mistakes he did, is all that matters.Ā

"Angelic Assaults."
Tumblr media
"What's the damn problem, Michael?!" Adam snapped.
The taller Archangel sighed, shaking his head as he turned over the other's request in his head. "Adam, you know how many hoops we had to jump through for you last time."
Adam growled, a frown growing on his face. "If we do too much, He'll notice something is up." Michael warned.
"I THINK MY GIRLFRIEND IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN-" Adam started, getting cut off.
"Adam, whatever happened to Eve?" Uriel asked. "You were supposed to be with her. Eloping with another woman-a sinner, Hells, and OVERLORD of all things-will draw eyes." He added.
"I don't give two shits!!! I want HER and I want her SAFE and I want it NOW!!" Adam yelled.
"You are acting like a child, Adam. You know we cannot bring much death without questions arising. And I must preserve my own angels for when they are called upon for serious matters, not silly matters of the heart." Azrael signed.
"Maybe you SHOULD start caring, Adam. Do you want your rank and title taken away? Do you want to FALL, Adam?" Michael asked.
"YOU get to dole out your angels for errands all the fucking time!!! Why is it any different when I ask?!?" Adam demanded.
"It is different because they are MY ANGELS, Adam. I can ask them to do as I please. They never slaughter, they never maim. They never do as you are requesting of them to do." Michael scowled, narrowing his eyes.
Adam groaned, dragging his hands down his face. "You're being a pain in the ass, Mike!!" Adam snarled.
"You cannot change our minds on this, Adam. You may be the first man, but you have no power over us." Uriel informed.
Adam paused a moment. Yes. Yes he did. He did have power over them. He had control over them. He had knowledge that nobody else in Heaven outside of the Archangels did.
"...then I suppose you wouldn't mind people learning about Raph?" Adam asked coyly, the others' eyes widening, stepping back.
"Shut up. The walls here are thin." Michael warned.
"Adam, you cannot use such a situation lightly." Uriel scowled.
"What? I'm sure Heaven would LOOOOOOOOOVE to hear that you-" Adam paused, taking a deep breath. "SENT RAPHAEL TO TH-" He started, raising his voice to be fairly loud.
"KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN." Michael hissed.
"How many men do you need?!" Uriel asked desperately.
Adam smirked. This would be easy.

I have an idea what if Adam fell in love with the archangel of death Azrael not Lucifer not Michael instead the odd one out Azrael does not look anything like Lucifer or Michael, and before he died and came back to Eden he never really met him Azrael x Adam
But now when he got killed by nifty and got reincarnated again, and Eden all over again,
Adam was walking around the forest in Eden gain away from Lilith and Lucifer. Then he looked around in the old place. He used to remember getting dĆ©jĆ  vu then Adam heard humming he looked around. He walked to the humming he hurt, and there was a man near tree. The tree was a cherry blossom, and the man look like an angel like Michael he was the same height as Michael, but his wings were black for a second. Adam would mistake him as a demon but no, he knows that cloak before and near him was a spear it’s Azrael the archangel of death
Adam stopped in ponder what he should do next he never really talked to Azrael in his past life, but knowing that this is his second chance can do whatever the fuck he wants, and knowing Lucifer took Lilith from him honestly he’s not gonna fight with those fucking bastards can have each other, but if they can have their forbidden love, so can he Adam done, pondering he walked closer to the man
Adam: am Hello ?
Azrael : ua? Human, I didn’t mean to.
Adam: my name is Adam what’s your name you don’t look like who is for Michael? Are you a new angel
Azrael : no well well sure let’s say that I’m Azrael the arcangel of death it’s pleasure to meet you Adam
Adam: the pleasure is all mine Azrael
Oh! I've actually never seen this ship! That's interesting! And has a lot of potential!
Adam cursed as he tripped because of a low-hanging vine. It had been a month. He couldn't believe that he had died and had been reincarnated back into Eden. The worst thing? Lilith was cheating on him right at this moment with that fuck boy Lucifer.
He grumbled and sighed. He supposed it didn't matter. He was prepared for their bullshit this time around and wasn't not going to be betrayed this time around.
Adam stopped moving around when he heard it. Humming. At first, Adam thought it was Lilith or Lucifer and was going to turn around when he really paid attention to the humming. It was different. The voice was a baritone like Lucifer and it wasn't the soprano that was Lilith. It was a soft tenor.
Curious, Adam walked towards the noise. He came across a clearing overlooking a pond. A figure he immediately recognized as an angel made him flinch. God, he looked just like Michael. In fact, he almost thought that it was Micheal until he noticed the wings. A deep ebony that looked soft to the touch.
He also looked stronger than Micheal if such a thing were possible. He had a dark cloak and black hair, and his eyes were closed as he hummed a song he didn't recognize. It hit him like a brick to the face. Azreal! That's who he was!
If Adam was remembering correctly, he was the angel of death. The same angel, under Michael's orders from God, took every firstborn in Egypt during the time of Moses. The children went to Heaven but Adam remembered being horrified to see so many children standing next to a dark-looking angel holding a scythe.
He never tried talking to him, not that he did before, and he actively avoided Azreal after that.
Now? He looked so...peaceful.
Should he talk to him now? This was his second chance at life. He could do whatever the fucl he wanted.
"Hello?"
The angel jumped up, brandishing his scythe and Adam jumped away. Dammit, this angel was more trigger happy then Micheal!
Azreal seemed to realize that Adam was no threat and he stepped back. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"
Adam watched as the Angel fumbled with his words and looked over him frantically. It was endearing in a way.
"Hey, it's fine. I'm sorry for startling you. Who are you? Look like Micheal but...not?" Adam mentally cringed at his words but he didn't want anyone getting suspicious of his knowledge. He knew WAY more than he should.
"Oh! I'm...Azreal. The Angel of Death." Azreal said, standing up much straighter. Adam smiled. "Adam. A pleasure to meet you."
Azreal blushed a gold color as he saw Adam naked and looked away a bit. Oh, yes. Adam was going to have a lot of fun with this one.

Hiii I dunno if you're open but.. would you consider doing some Mael hc's with a female s/o šŸ‘‰šŸ‘ˆ
Tumblr media
Finally having a little character header… sob sob. Anyway, hope you like your headcanons! :D
Tumblr media
Mael's devotion toward you is unwavering, his soft-hearted nature is albeit rarely shown towards others in contrast to his ruthless side, but he has gotten better. His love towards you is genuinely one of his greatest sources of strength, and hopes to forever keep it that way, you garnered a side of him he didn't know he had and Mael wishes he can live the quiet life with you. For however long, he hopes it can be for forever.
Despite maintaining a powerful and intimidating presence due to his previous exploits when he had carried the epithet, 'Angel of Death' -- He cherishes the quiet and tender moments with you, where he can actually truly let his guard down and express his affection through small, meaningful gestures.
He is particularly fond of watching the sun rise with you each morning. Even if he had lost the Grace of Sunshine, it always reminded him of the shared hope and new beginnings, and to leave the idea of death and famine behind. Mael will do anything possible to protect that, even if he is gentler and kinder now, doesn't mean he lost his ability to fight.
The archangel has an unfortunate habit of reflecting on his past actions, manipulated into mutilating innocents who had done no wrong. But it was in due part, lucky even, that you were there to help him through that, finding forgiveness and peace can be difficult. Especially with the life he used to lead.
His fierce protection over you would extend to somewhat of an overbearing responsibility. He'd go to great lengths to ensure your safety, even if meant making personal sacrifices. Even if he was well aware of such behaviors, Mael was too fearful of you being suddenly stolen away from him, talk to him and he'll double down to a bearable extent.
Gifts of light, he is still very much capable of imbuing his own personal hand-made gifts with light - his own light. Quite the magical gift, as it can serve as a reminder of his love and protection even when the two of you are apart, Mael wants you to know that, he hopes you do anyway.
Given Mael's long life, he ended up developing a deep appreciation for the various cultures that stretched across the continent. He is always happy and able to share his knowledges and experiences with you, to acknowledge the beauty and diversity. He's come to appreciate things more often because of it otherwise, though he talks like a librarian, you can't help but laugh sometimes when he has such a fond look on his face when he speaks of the stories he's come to learn.
It's not without its struggles when it comes to having such a stable relationship, but the result reaps it's rewards. Mael has his difficulties of balancing his rather intense love for you and the dark influences of his past history, having your identity and memories twisted (additionally with being strongly manipulated) for so long can be hard on the mind and body. He still appreciates you for still sticking with him regardless of his rather awkward moments of depression.
Of course, his concern always surfaces immediately when you have your bouts of hardness and difficulties. Mael wishes he could just fix it right away, and erase the look from your face, but he knows he can't do such a thing that easily. Still, the archangel still continues to persist to do what you would do for him.
After regaining his memories, Mael’s relationship with you will allow and help him rediscover and embrace his true self, rekindling a sense of romance and hope that had been overshadowed by his past traumas. One step after the other, but frankly he still feels embarrassed you saw such behaviors and a side to him he never wanted you to see.
Mael would be deeply committed to creating a legacy of love and hope, not just through his actions but ensuring you know just how much you mean to him and how much you had helped him heal. Surely, he knows and had faced challenges and adversity where he has to work himself through it, but Mael still wants you to know the mark of his appreciation for you.
In private, Mael would show his vulnerability and share his deepest fears and regrets with you, finding solace and understanding in your presence. In a way, he has such an understanding of what Elizabeth and Meliodas felt toward each other, he is so glad to have crossed paths with you in the first place.
There could be common goals that you two work toward together, perhaps to protect those you care about or fighting for a cause the two of you believe in, at least similarly. Surprisingly though, your mutual affection and partnership around each other grew as a source of inspiration and support to others.
Mael might experience jealousy or insecurity, particularly if you showed interest in others. However, this would lead to personal growth and a deeper understanding of his own worth and the strength of your relationship. He understand's that he needs to have better control of his feelings and be more open to communication, Mael is open to growth and change after all.
When engaged in combat, Mael’s primary motivation would be to protect you and ensure your safety, fighting with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. In some ways or more, this truly had allowed him to be stronger and even sturdier.
Mael might envision a future where he and you build a life together, possibly including the idea of a family. He would cherish the thought of creating a peaceful and loving environment for them to thrive. Though, he much rather would want to wait for your consent first, children or not, he still will continue to love you regardless.
Mael would occasionally surprise you with elaborate, heartfelt gestures, such as recreating a special memory or creating a magical display of light in your honor.

Lucifer woke up with a tight sensation in his chest, he grasped the fabric of his clothing unaware of what was happening. Well technically he WAS aware but he was still mentally denying what he was sensing. He looked around at the darkness of his room, his spouse sleeping peacefully right next to him; ear twitching even with the slightest noises of his movements. He didn't want to wake him up so he carefully removed the blanket and tiptoe his way out of bed.
He approached the window with wise knowledge of what was happening, his hands planted on the reel of the window, gripping tightly while looking at the red crimson sky of the night.
Suddenly the red turned into a cold dark blue, immediately changing to something burning bright, to be more in fact, into a ball of blue fire.
Yeah.
His wings spread wide open preparing for flight before-
"Where are you going?" Adam's voice snapped him from his new task and raising danger to hell.
"It's–"
"What's going on?" Adam immediately sensing the shift of emotions in his demeanor. Something was already telling him nothing was okay.
"It's Michael."
His eyes widened.
"He's falling. I have to go now."
Adam sprinted on to his feet, "Lucifer be careful."
Lucifer softened by his concerns, "take the kids to the basement."
Adam huffed as he got closer while locking his fingers with his, "you better explain to me what the fuck happened when you get back, and NO, da fuck? I'm not taking the kids to the basement."
Lucifer rolled his eyes before smiling gently, "I'll be back soon. If that ball of fire keeps coming down then GO to the basement, it's the safest place for you all to shield yourself."
"What ball of fi—"
Lucifer immediately flew out of the window after giving Adam a quick peck on the lips.
It wasn't too long until he found himself hitting himself against the ball of fire like a man diving stomach facing towards water, with wide streched out arms trying to take hold of that beast. His brows scrunched together as he held tighter on to the ball. The flames burning his skin but in the core of the flaming ball he can perfectly see his brother. Knocked in a deep slumber clearly whatever took him out was far more greater than the fall itself.
Lucifer couldn’t help but wonder how? Why?
He growled as his summoned all his power to withhold the impact, he was trying so hard to keep Michael from hitting the grounds of hell. He can only imagine the damages that it would cause if he let that happen. Michael wasn't just some ordinary fallen he was the fucking KING of heaven. An archangel. The general of heaven's army. Heaven's shield. Protector. His brother.
He always hated to admit that any of his imbecile brothers held far more power than him, in reality they didn't with the exception of one. And this is the damn exception curled up in a ball, injured, vulnerable. In his fucking domain. Michael was born from the same light as him, just a few light years apart, it was no surprise they held a similar amount of power, qualities, 'perks' and traits. Still, Lucifer has and always will be the eldest of all brothers.
And with such curse, he must deal with the fact that he cannot stand seeing any of his baby brothers injured. Even if they didn't follow such foolish thinking like he did. Even if they casted him down to the dark pits of hell. Even if this is the same motherfucker that brought him here to begin with.
He cannot bear the thought of his baby brother having to endure what he did. It hurt. For some reason it hurt more than his own fall. Maybe it was the fact thay he was literally in flames over holding on to a ball of fire but still, he never pictured himself being the one to welcome one of his so called darling brothers to his home. Okay, maybe he did, but not this soon. He's being a tan dramatic, yes, but it's a form of coping alright??
Okay, Lucifer, focused!
°°°°
The fall wasn't pretty, atleast on Lucifer's end. Lucifer coughed like a 80 year old smocker as he tried shooing the dust away with his hand. He wasnon the ground on his knees, exhausted from all the power he had used to lighten the impact.
The more the dust disperse the more Lucifer can finally have a clearer vision of his brother layyed flat on the ground, wings twitching in pain, unconscious. Andin split seconds Michael started moving.
Lucifer slowly started crawling back up, carefully, calculated. Before..
Blazing blue neon eyes scanned the area cautiously, and as predator preparing to find a meal his eyes glued on to Lucifer’s red crimson.
They both froze in the spot, momentarily looking at eachother; one ready for an attack the other preparing for one.

You said Luck is an angel right? What level is he? I know you already said he's a guardian angel but he's also a warrior,, so there's also a possibility that he could be an archangel?? Or is he something more powerful considering his age, he could've reached a higher power/level so there's also a posibility that he's a Seraphim, Throne or a Cherubim (but then again, he only has one wings,, what about the old him? Cause the old him has several)
Also people get confused about the Cherub because of helluva boss, in the fandom, a Cherub/Heavenborn is the lowest ranked but they're in fact one of the highest since they're the protector and guardian of the place they're in/Garden of Eden.
Sorry for ranting!! I have a deep fascination for angel hierarchy (I'm not religious) and I'm curious if Luck also aligned with any of it! Maybe you could also use it for lores or smth, again sorry if it's long (“ . .̫ . `)✨
(Starting with a bit of a nerdy conversation because I love the hierarchy of angels, I'm religious, but I still love stories)
Sorry for the delay in responding, I was unsure whether to draw something or just respond ;w;
Well, I started considering Luck from the past in the First Sphere, I thought of a Seraphim, but the idea was discarded because Luck was more like a warrior angel, so a Cherub or a Throne were the options, and I chose the Cherub.
His old form had four wings, by the way, his more human appearance was so as not to affect the minds of the people who saw him :3
The reason why Luck became a guardian angel, which is considered one or the lowest position, is more connected to my story, the angels of higher links, as a demonstration of humility and love for the creation of the gods (in my world there are several, but it works for God too), descend to exterminate some of the evil beings, as a way of maintaining balance.
During this time, they take advantage and become guardian angels of several people in the place where they are (yes, Luck was not only Melissa's guardian angel, with his descent, woulds of greater power, demons, are attracted to the place, that's why he was so distracted and didn't notice the influence of one of them on Melissa).
After that fateful day, Luck was demoted to the Second Sphere.
Again I was undecided, between Dominations and Powers, but, as tempted as I was to put it as a Domination, I thought Powers fit better :3
That's basically it, I tried to find what fits best in Luck's role, my knowledge of the hierarchy of angels is very vague in my opinion. qwp

We know a lot about how Michael's PTSD affects him but what about the other Archangels?
Basically everyone is handling it better than him, they never had his codependency, weren't as involved in the visceral parts and aren't trying to convince themselves he's dead and thus aren't making more grief for themselves just to repress it.
He's just the estranged brother to the rest, even the still real pissy ones see him at least every couple centuries for awkward diplomatic reasons, Zadkiel and Lucifer hang out semi-regularly.
(Expect for Michael, they haven't seen each other since the Fall, but this post isn't about him)
They aren't unaffected obv, but its sutler and more about his absence than the event itself, and the looming threat now hanging over their heads.
However there is a narrative representation of this change I think you'd be interested in! The Original Sin brought suffering and evil into creation, as the pillars of reality they risked their grip of their domains slipping out of control.
They had to reflect all of what creation was, absorb a bit of the blow, swallow the consequences of Lucifer's mistake. Become worse for it.
The changes sunk in bone deep, they struggle to imagine the time before they thought like they do now. But they do remember, being different once, it haunts a lot of them, some the deeper anger they harbour for Lucifer, is from that whole psychological horror.
Raphael; Archangel of Life, Keeper of Balance, and Death
Raphael gained a callousness with little respect for those you refuse to accept the the cycle that they institute. They are patron of plague just as agriculture, of health and rot, bringer of life and death; and in the most patient understanding way they can put this, Get Over It. This is what balance means. There is no life that doesn't require the death of others, sometimes, between you and bacteria, its not your life that triumphs.
Their authority is honestly a more immediate threat than Michael's, who's iron grip is at least restricted to Heaven and the heavenborn culture we struggle to relate to. Raphael is the enforcer of our limits, its thanks to them we will not evade the walls of Heaven and Hell for long.
A cruel but natural evolution from Raphael's role as the flora that limited humanity in the Eden period. The cage transformed to be more suited for the free of will.
Uriel; Archangel of Stars, Keeper of Knowledge, and Hunger
Uriel's always had a strange blind spot, no more privy to His plan than any of their siblings. That gap turned into a clawing aching blackhole that refuses to be sated. They are the holder of His wisdom and yet they are denied this with no recourse. What good are they if they don't even know what the goal is.
This is appetite and ambition. Flame that continues to burn through whatever you feed it. This is the breadth knowledge that will always eclipse the amount you can know. This is the gaps in your memory. This is staring into the void of space and realizing you will never touch any of it. This is the expanse of time from before and after your little blip of existence that you will never be apart of.
Curiosity taut fraught by bitterness and desperation. A gatekeeper who themselves are not allowed to know what they guard. Is this penance? Uriel wonders, for failing their post in Eden, having to bare ignorance as defence after proving inadequate themselves.
Gabriel; Archangel of Progress, Keeper of Revelation, and Malice
Gabriel is at heart a paragon, they will do what is right no matter what. This also makes their mindset simple with little room for nuance. In the rise of sin came with it division, the categories of allies and enemies. While before there was only good, but its given way to an entirely black and white view of the world. They have no tolerance for those that threaten what is good.
They do not listen, nor will they feel guilt. They carry God's very word, what could you add? Nothing else matters. Cutting you down is what is right. It's a breeding ground for war and brutality, for anything is justified against an enemy. A hero does no wrong.
Quick and efficient to a fault, they leave people deemed unworthy behind. Never stopping long enough to second guess. Acting entirely on gut instinct that demands the purging of the undesirable. Sever every hitch and fib until all is plain uncomplicated truth.
A twisted nostalgia they drag behind as a they race forward to regain the simple glory of being Eden's protector, before there was deception, before they knew a brother's betrayal.
Jophiel; Archangel of Beauty, Keeper of Passion, and Bloodshed
Jophiel wears her heart on her sleeve, she experiences emotions and sensations at such an elevated intensity that they cannot be refused or repressed. Compelled in a thousand different ways to bring them into the world, if only to get them out of her. She paints, she dances, she sculpts, she cries. She learned that beauty meant a lot of things, can come from a lot of places.
Her manic episodes before could get a bit volatile. But after the range of emotional expression widened and deepened, once suffering was added to her spectrum her stability spiralled. These far extremes were not spared from magnetism. They could not be refused or repressed; now skin could break, could be broken, in rage, in despair, in desire - she had to get them out of her, she had to make them real.
Beauty means so many things. There is carnage in her wake.
Blood is such a gorgeous vivid hue, isn't it?
In the suffering of creation, darkest moments can forge the heights of art and culture. This is the quittance Jophiel offers her beloved nigh-masterpieces, she hopes it's still worth it, for both their sakes.
Zadkiel; Archangel of Grace, Keeper of Faith, and Tragedy
Zadkiel didn't have a role in creation, for reasons they still don't know. They once had hope that eventually they'd be able to leave their mark.
They never got the chance.
They don't why they were soaked in the same creation as their siblings, just to be made to rest eternally. Bearing the name Architect as nothing but a hollow title.
They keep their faith, they have nothing else to block out the thoughts of meaninglessness, of waste; that they have no reason for continuing to exist. They have no other reason to believe there's any point to them at all. Expect for faith, faith doesn't need proof, or trust. They clutch it tight in shaking hands, clasp together and close to their heart.
What good is faith without tribulation?
Futile sacrifice, pointless waste, useless potential, missed opportunity, crushing unbearable hopelessness.
Misfortune Zadkiel carries with them, inescapable random meaningless tragedy. They pray the grace and kindness they bring is enough for you to find your peace despite your fickle woe; they pray you offer to others the same. ~
(Michael is the Archangel of Power(this title is almost never used, in favour of 'Highest of all Angels') and Keeper of Order and destruction if you're curious, he's not relevant because he was always intended for a post-sin world so never had this change, also because he deserves a goddamn break)
-
Jophiel is the most viscerally aware, upset and scared of how she been changed and holds it hard against Lucifer, Raphael is on some level disturbed by how their entire attitude towards living things was restructured into a constant potential threat but has decided not to worry about it, its buried real deep down there, Uriel's trying real hard to distance themselves from their desperate need as something apart from them, which works until it doesn't and they're yelling at Lucifer or whoever out of crippling insecurity, Zadkiel is dealing with it like they deal with everything, reciting prayers until there isn't any room for bad thought, they love their big brother.

A lot people underestimate eve
First wanna say, guys I’m so sorry. This ask is from JUNE 😭 If you need to ask me something pressing pls dm me because it takes me SO LONG to answer my dms. I am ashamed.
Anyways, yes I agree. Eve is very underestimated and shunned in witchy circles and I don’t agree with it. The ā€œBe a Lilith, never an Eveā€ sentiment never made sense to me.
I consider Eve to be similar to Hera in the way that she considers the primary man in her life, Adam. While there is strength in the archetype of Lilith, the rebel, the self determined, the disobedient, there is also much power in the mother, the devoted and ultimate companion of man.
In a more magical/ occult setting Eve demands reverence of her partner and God before herself. She embodies the woman who willingly submits to her husband and authority, staying by his side always. For some more independent people that might seem like a flaw, but understanding how healthy leadership can empower you is one of the core aspects of Eve’s character. Eve was the woman who ā€œchoseā€ supposedly, but Adam was the man who bent to the will of his wife, knowing that even the word of God could be questioned when in conflict with the wishes of his wife. That is a love that exceeds faith.
I like to believe that Adam and Eve loved each other deeply, and that their action of eating the fruit of knowledge wasn’t a curse. God may have created the earth, but it was from Eve that humanity was born with knowledge and wisdom. That wisdom is the pillar of Luciferian gnosis, and it is not surprising to me that it was revealed by woman, as it was with Lilith. While Lucifer represents the light deep within the inner void, the feminine, Archangel Michael represents the sword of Heaven, the macro divine light and masculine. Both are essential elements on the Trees of Life and Death. I believe that Eve acts as a conduit for the communication between these spheres and mankind. She who was born from the rib of man, from the divine light of the macro, still saw the fruit of knowledge, of the forbidden gnosis, and chose it, I believe not out of ignorance but fascination. She saw something in Lucifer that existed within her. Yet still she remains by the side of her love, man. If not in Eden, if not in Heaven, then on Earth, to make a kingdom of our own. Woman is capable of doing such things.
I’m usually not so big on the divine feminine and masculine polarity stuff because it’s usually very bioessentialist and low key transphobic, but I believe the ideas of the light and dark feminine represented by Eve and Lilith is decently accurate here. In my gnosis Eve is the gentle mother of intellect, the one who made humanity with choice, yet still stayed loyal to the man she loves. That is an incredibly powerful thing.

Please interact. It's my first attempt in writing fanfic. Tell me if you would be interested in reading this, please.
I was standing in front of the hotel entrance, my feet felt like they were cemented to the ground. The events of this morning replayed in my mind like a broken record—the phone call, Lucifer's order, the impossible demands.
~~~
ItĀ hadĀ beenĀ aĀ weekĀ sinceĀ theĀ extermination,Ā andĀ LuciferĀ hadĀ returnedĀ toĀ theĀ palaceĀ lateĀ lastĀ night.Ā He’dĀ beenĀ helpingĀ hisĀ daughterĀ andĀ herĀ friendsĀ rebuildĀ theĀ hotel.Ā IĀ knewĀ heĀ wouldĀ wantĀ toĀ takeĀ aĀ dayĀ toĀ rest,Ā butĀ SeraphimĀ wasn’tĀ willingĀ toĀ wait.
IĀ knockedĀ onĀ hisĀ bedroomĀ door.
ā€œMyĀ King,Ā IĀ knowĀ youĀ wantĀ toĀ rest,Ā butĀ Sera'sĀ calling.Ā ItĀ seemsĀ toĀ beĀ urgent.ā€
IĀ heardĀ groaningĀ andĀ rumblingĀ insideĀ hisĀ chambers.Ā HeĀ openedĀ theĀ doorĀ toĀ faceĀ me.
ā€œReally?!Ā IĀ toldĀ youĀ notĀ toĀ botherĀ me.Ā IĀ needĀ toĀ rest.ā€
ā€œI'mĀ sorry,Ā Lucifer,Ā butĀ sheĀ insistsĀ youĀ hearĀ theĀ newsĀ fromĀ her.Ā SheĀ refusesĀ toĀ sayĀ anythingĀ toĀ me.ā€
ā€œUgh.Ā Fine.Ā LeadĀ theĀ way.ā€
IĀ noddedĀ andĀ startedĀ walkingĀ towardsĀ myĀ office.Ā OnceĀ weĀ wereĀ there,Ā IĀ tookĀ theĀ phoneĀ toĀ checkĀ ifĀ SeraphimĀ wasĀ stillĀ onĀ theĀ line.
ā€œSera,Ā areĀ youĀ stillĀ there?ā€
IĀ heardĀ theĀ angryĀ archangelĀ onĀ theĀ otherĀ sideĀ andĀ extendedĀ theĀ phoneĀ towardsĀ theĀ king.
ā€œGoodĀ morning,Ā Sera.Ā HowĀ canĀ IĀ helpĀ you?ā€
HeĀ soundedĀ kindĀ ofĀ boredĀ andĀ borderlineĀ pissed.
ā€œI'mĀ sorry,Ā WHAT?!?...Mhm...okay......HaveĀ aĀ goodĀ day.Ā Bye,Ā Sera.ā€
HeĀ handedĀ meĀ backĀ theĀ phone.
ā€œSo...Ā canĀ IĀ askĀ whatĀ allĀ thatĀ wasĀ about?ā€
HeĀ wasn’tĀ payingĀ attentionĀ toĀ myĀ question.Ā HeĀ startedĀ mumblingĀ toĀ himself.
ā€œIĀ can'tĀ believeĀ thatĀ snakeĀ actuallyĀ gotĀ redeemed.Ā HowĀ didĀ thatĀ happen?ā€
ā€œSirĀ PentiousĀ gotĀ redeemed?ā€
ā€œYeah.Ā Apparently.ā€
ā€œYouĀ needĀ toĀ tellĀ Charlie.Ā ThisĀ changesĀ everything.ā€
HeĀ wasĀ pacingĀ aroundĀ theĀ room,Ā mumblingĀ somethingĀ toĀ himself.Ā AfterĀ whatĀ feltĀ likeĀ anĀ  eternity,Ā heĀ finallyĀ turnedĀ toĀ me.
ā€œYouĀ willĀ goĀ andĀ informĀ Charlie.Ā StayĀ withĀ herĀ atĀ theĀ hotel;Ā sheĀ could useĀ yourĀ knowledge and experience.ā€
Ā ā€œButĀ sirā€”ā€
ā€œNoĀ buts.ā€
He made a small pause rubbing his face with his hands.
ā€œNow if you will excuse me, IĀ amĀ goingĀ backĀ toĀ bed.ā€
ā€œButĀ whoĀ willĀ helpĀ you?ā€
ā€œI said no buts. IĀ canĀ manage on my own,Ā Leila.Ā IĀ willĀ beĀ fine.ā€
HeĀ wavedĀ hisĀ handĀ dismissively.Ā HeĀ wasĀ outĀ ofĀ theĀ roomĀ beforeĀ IĀ couldĀ sayĀ anythingĀ else.
~~~
IĀ tookĀ aĀ deepĀ breath,Ā finallyĀ musteringĀ theĀ courageĀ toĀ stepĀ intoĀ the hotelĀ lobby. My heart pounded, each beat a warning of the chaos yetĀ toĀ unfoldĀ inside.
This is going to be a fun adventure.

Working on my RadioApple AU and the deeper I get into this series the more obviously "AU" it becomes. I just can't resist tossing out the weak Lucifer backstory the show gave us and going rogue.
There are so many relevant texts, you know? Give me Lucifer the first angel, the brightest and most beloved. The morning star who inspired a third of all angels to follow him in a war against heaven. If we're deep-diving, how about the destroying archangel Samael, who served as the prosecutor in the court of heaven before he fell?
The Samael thing is interesting, actually. A lot of Lucifer "canon" comes from midrash and Kabbalah and pseudepigrapha about Samael. Samael is the Adversary, Lucifer is the Adversary, they kind of merged. Lucifer isn't an angel's name, anyway, so it makes more sense if he wasn't always called that.
(Samael means "poison of god", by the way, which is pretty great.)
There's a lot of material out there, is what I'm saying, and we are collectively sleeping on most of the really fun stuff.
I am modestly knowledgeable about this subject. I have a Jewish religious education and read this kind of stuff for fun, but I won't claim more than that. You want to do some jazzy world building in your fic, though? Come talk to me. I've got you.
