Favourite thing about them: His dorkiness! I like how he starts out trying to be intimidating so he'll be thought of as a formidable foe, and then learns to embrace his naturally dorky self and be a better person. Maybe there's a message there about toxic masculinity? Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Least favourite thing about them: That so-called 'joke' in Episode 6. You know the one. I mean, you can't have a whole episode taking sexual assault seriously when it happens to Angel Dust and then turn it into a joke when it happens to Sir Pentious. I'd have preferred it if, instead of Pen being dragged into the sex room, Valentino overheard his "sex with everybody" line and started offering him a job at the porn studio and making him flustered, and that was what motivated Angel to stand up for his friends.

Favourite line: "The only cool thing here is to say 'No' to drugs! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to not have sexual intercourse before marriage!"

brOTP: I like the enemies-to-friends thing he had going on with Angel Dust! My favourite moment is in Episode 5, when Pen is trying to shield his cookies for Lucifer from Angel's grabby hands, and then he has to stand up straight to salute Lucifer with a quick, "Your majesty!" before he goes back to shielding the cookies, but it's too late because Angel's taken one, but Angel doesn't make a big deal of it, he just says, "Heya, short king," to Lucifer as if there's nothing out of the ordinary going on. They're like brothers! Pen is the responsible one and Angel is the naughty one, but at the end of the day, they've got each other's back. It's fun to watch!

Also, now that Sir Pentious is in Heaven, I love the thought of Emily becoming his new best friend! She could show him how Heaven works, and he could teach her what he knows about Hell, and together they could try to find a way to let Charlie know that redemption actually works.

Plus, there's the angst potential of Sir Pentious interacting with Molly - he knows who Angel Dust is, and she knows who Anthony is, but they don't know they're talking about the same person... I'd love to see a Pen/Emily/Molly trio going on escapades in Season 2!

OTP: CherriSnake! I wasn't sure about the ship at first, but it's grown on me. It's a neat example of the enemies-to-lovers trope, where Sir Pentious' admiration for Cherri as a worthy opponent turns into something more romantic. And they could have bonded over being inventors - Pen with his gadgets and Cherri with her "brilliant explosive contraptions". Too bad he only confessed his love a few seconds before his heroic sacrifice...

I think I like this ship for its potential. What will Cherri do now that Pen is gone? Will she find out he's in Heaven? Will that motivate her to stay at the Hazbin Hotel, to get redeemed herself and be reunited with him? It's rife with story possibilities!

nOTP: Sir Pentious and Vox (StaticSnake?). Mainly because Vox told Pen to kill himself in Episode 2. That was unacceptable.

Random headcanon: Sir Pentious has a son! Remember that moment in the pilot when Angel said, "Harder, Daddy!" and Pen replied, "Son?!" I think Pen did actually father a child when he was alive, and he'd been scouring Hell trying to find him again. (And for a moment there, he thought Angel was declaring that he was his son.) Pen never found his son in Hell, but now he's in Heaven, maybe he'll have better luck...

Unpopular opinion: I actually quite like Sir Pentious' singing voice! It's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. And I much prefer it when characters' singing voices match their speaking voices, instead of being wildly different. (Looking at you, Vaggie.)

Song I associate with them: @hazbinned made a video of Pen being kept awake at night by Angel blasting out "Made You Look" by Meghan Trainor, so now I associate that song with Sir Pentious! LOL!

Ooohhhhh, that's hard to choose. But if I had to, it's how much fun his dialogue is and how much character he has. He is an absolute chatterbox, and a bit cheeky and bastardy even after redemption. He goes on and on when you talk to him in the Lor, and is forever an incurable schemer- even if he restrains himself to pranks these days. The "thank badness" line in Magolor Epilogue is so endearing to me. Even alone and powerless, you have your sense of deviousness, you stupid wizard <3

It ended up helping him keep himself together mentally while he was in Interdimensional Space. He's been trying to tone it back since moving to Dreamland, people who catch him tend to look at him funny for some reason . . .

There's a few songs I associate with Magolor, but a favorite is In Hell We Live, Lament. I like to see this as reflecting Magolor's fall to the temptation of the Master Crown(A regretter's friend-the forbidden fruit/ I bite off the skin/chew on the tender flesh/ quaff down the lukewarm pus/ I became the 'me' who you despised) and redemption through the Interdimensional Space's trials, ending with his triumph over Mistilteinn(the second chorus feels greatly like the battling and defeat of a great opponent- similar to the end of Magolor Epilogue). Some lyrics also feel like they could be phrased as Magolor speaking to himself, asking why he betrayed Kirby and crew(Why do deaths end my torture/ why can't anyone feel my hurt/ why do we crown the most violent to be champions) or realizing only he himself is to blame for his downfall(Then I realized/ someone's heaven could be the source of my torment-'someone' referring to the egoist in Magolor).

Like I said, there's a few other songs I associate with him, but I think I spent enough time rambling on this already ^^'

Sexuality Headcanon: ABSOLUTE SEX GOD DO NOT APPROACH NO MATTER WHAT OR WHO, AVOID AT ALL COSTS YOU WILL GET YOUR SOUL SUCKED THROUGH YOUR DICK AND GET YOUR PEPSI STOLEN. also probably somewhere on the aro spectrum? maybe demi idk Gender Headcanon: Agender, probably. Fem leaning of course, but considering all the dragons are they/them they probably have no concern for the standard human concept of gender. In my mind they're probably she/they, though.

Ship: Incredibly tough pick, I'm honestly mostly between Shadow Milk and Cotton Candy, depending on if I want them to be enabled (made worse) or if I want them to have nice things. Basically toxic yuri vs healthy yuri, your pick BROTP: Uuuuuuuhhh I. Genuinely don't think I have any options here? Lychee kinda just... Hates everyone, for the most part. Rambutan maybe??? But that could just as easily go on Ship, so... Yeah, no idea. NOTP: Obviously all of the dragons would go here big duh they're related, but as far as plausible ones go, again, no idea. They're even totally indifferent towards Snake Fruit, for the most part, so I don't think I can pick anyone here.

Random Headcanon: OK THIS ONE ISN'T RANDOM BUT LET'S GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY; THIS IS NOT A CHILD. I've seen quite a few people interpret them as such and while I somewhat understand the sentiment THAT'S A SUCCUBUS, THIS CHARACTER IS DESIGNED AND THEMED AFTER SUCCUBI, sure they don't actually have sex with you and steal your energy and/or kill you, but the visual traits are absolutely there and they do still charm/hypnotize people and steal their energy that way with a bunch of heart imagery attached, alongside the little black bat-like wings that are so customary in pop culture succubus depictions. And that's not even considering all the ridiculously slutty lines that they have. Seriously, it's almost baffling this kind of character can make it into Cookie Run, let alone Ovenbreak, but I'm here for it <3. Anyways, they still are probably the youngest of the dragons even if they're an adult. That, or... Maybe they're a runt? No following, smaller size, powers that focus less on actual destruction or raw power and more on getting what they need through other more manipulative methods... Hell, they're probably the weakest of the dragons, as far as physical force alone goes. Unless later updates give us evidence of the contrary, maybe it's the lack of worship and power compared to the other dragons that made them such a powerhungry conniving little shithead.

This one is perfect. A match made in heaven for me. I love jesters, my one set of neopronouns is jest/jestself, my sona is a jester, and they have shaped my identity on a near fundamental level. Add on top of that the succubus motifs, the :3 mouth and the little fangs, the personality, the axe (second favorite weapon right behind hammers), the color palette (dark purple, pink, black, white and greenish cyan?! fuck yes please), how much of a whore they are in general, their entire vibe, and... how long would you say you've actively shipped any of your favorite ships? - im curious specifically about sorvus, sorpeli, and claudiez

I wouldn't say Sorvus is one of my faves even if I do 1) love Soren and Corvus individually, 2) Corvus is one of my favourite side characters in the whole show (like top 5) and 3) I do really like them! That being said:

Canon

For the bulk of TDP ships, canon-wise, I shipped them as their relationships were revealed (aka Harrow/Sarai with the info we got in S1, Claudia/Terry with the info we get in S4, Runaan/Ethari back when he was known as 'Tinker' thanks to the S1 credit sketch, etc).

For Janaya, I shipped them from the first time they met in S2, since "rival intellectually and physically matched generals on the battlefield" along with both being very pretty is a decently long-ish homoerotic trend in literature (aka a production I saw of "Coriolanus" really leaned in on it, although I think I saw that pre-S2's release. Applies though)

For Rayllum, I shipped them pre-show even if I was also down to brotp them. They'd be travelling together, thus having plenty of time to develop an interesting dynamic / were around the same age, and the screencap released before the premiere of them sitting under the tree (Callum, distracted but eager, and Rayla, exasperated and fond) really drew me in since that's a ship type - dynamic and gender wise (I don't tend to love ships where the guy is the more grumpy/guarded one, I think, since women are so often forced to do More of the emotional labour in relationships Anyway) - I'm already Very susceptible to. I tried to hold off a little bit in early S1 cause I didn't want to ship them too hard, but then 1x05 came along with the boat scene and it was Over for me. They've had my heart ever since (5 years going on forever)

Sorvus

So I didn't really ship Sorvus (although I was never opposed to them) for the majority of the time post-S3. I didn't really ship Soren with anyone and preferred Gren/Corvus at that time (due to their personalities / closer dynamic to Amaya and therefore each other) as well as enjoying Corvus/Opeli. However I was also really hoping that Corvus would stay on the council/with Ezran, and figured that if Soren was going to end up with anyone, Corvus was probably the most realistic choice (shared goals, decent development, timeskip to help things, similar ages).

That said I still didn't actively ship them (like I didn't mind them but was completely impassive/neutral y'know?) until I wrote an interaction between them in "if heaven and hell decide" (a canon divergent S2 where Claudia and Soren decide to delay their betrayal of the trio, and therefore travel with them for much longer) and the fact that Corvus would see Soren at his worst in canon (S2) but also see and appreciate who Soren was becoming... I started to turn a corner and grew to ship them a lot more. I'm really excited for them to eventually be canon, it seems, even if they're not My Endgame for either character In My Head for years-post war, at least for now.

Claudiez

For aged up Claudia/Ezran, I think this post (dated July 2021) was when I started to ship these two. There was something about the interplay of Claudia telling Callum about Harrow's death, but he only seeks out comfort from Rayla, and Ezran rejecting Rayla's offered comfort about Harrow and instead accepting it from Claudia, that felt very apt to me? And then a couple weeks later I wrote my formal "I actually do ship Claudiez and here's why" meta so it's been a few years now!

Both the younger sibling uniquely given their father's mantle to carry in ways their older brother just doesn't have to; Ezran being connected to all nature while Claudia continually perverts it, thus Ezran having the relationship to nature that she needs to learn/acquire for her own healing additionally; they both see the throne as a tool to help and breaking their fathers' cycles with each other; the childhood friends to enemies to friends to lovers of an according slow burn because of said age gap; ending up as Queen of Katolis but not the way her father imagined and ending up with one of the brothers, just not the one everyone previously expected; Ezran getting to grow up and into his own and assert his independence and choices (no matter what his brother thinks about it), etc. I also think personality wise they suit each other - Terry's parallels to Ezran in personality are some of the reasons I think Clauderry works at least as a short term pairing.

It's also kinda perfect bc, since they'd only get together like 10-15 years post the end of the show Anyway, so like. they're Endgame to me no matter what and there's nothing canon can really do about it, #improvise adapt overcome.

Sorpeli

This probably started out as the truest crack ship because it started as a joke of like, Soren flirting with her at 20 and easy to dismiss and then again when he's 30 and Opeli is like "I deserve a little fun," so they start having a physical fling, and then catch feelings (Soren falls first, she falls harder). The earliest post I have for them is from May 6th 2023 but I know realistically I'd probably shipped them for a lot longer (what can I say, younger men not being put off my older women aging bc society is bullshit, and contrasting personalities + devoted man & woman who feels undeserving will always get me) before I ever had mind to say anything. Then I dragged @jelzorz into it and the rest, they say, is history. So like 1.5 years at least now?

I'd probably be even more into Sorpeli than I already am but I'm not unconvinced that Opeli won't die (I really hope she doesn't, but I do understand how it could benefit Ezran's narrative in particular) but like if all seasons pass by and she's alive? Canon crack quartet with Endgame Rayllum, Claudiez, Sorpeli, and CorTerry is a go <3

TLDR;

Rayllum before the show started, Janaya in S2, everything else when the ships got introduced, then next we have Claudiez (July 2021), Sorvus (casually since Oct 2021), and Sorpeli (late 2022/early 2023).

favorite thing about them - the mystery behind his curse. the only thing that's really consistent is that death is painful and scary for him, which makes him a tragic character. everything else such as where he goes in the afterlife, how he resurrects, whether or not other people know or care about him dying, etc. is different each time we get an explanation on it. every time his deaths are explored even a little bit it raises more questions than it answers. it's just so much fun to play with and theorize about.

least favorite thing about them - whenever the writers use him for misogyny plots. he usually doesn't play a major role in that kinda thing, but it's still frustrating to see him act weird about girls just having fun. IMO him being a misogynist doesn't even make sense; his mother did more for his family than his father, he would do anything for his sister, he is both attracted to and is able to form platonic friendships with girls, he chose to roleplay a (trans coded) girl who is equal parts tough and beautiful, etc. kenny loves and respects girls, but every time the writers need to do a boys vs girls episode suddenly he laughs at the idea of girls volleyball being fun to watch. it's so lame.

favorite line - it's really hard to narrow it down, but probably his will in Best Friends Forever. it's an example of how he can be really petty sometimes, but at the end of the day he has love in his heart for everybody. it's also an example of how he is a silly little kid despite also witnessing the horrors every other week.

brOTP - i like what he has with henrietta in TFBW. it was a real power move for the devs to team him up with a girl during a game where all his dialogue is clear, and the whole time their chemistry is just "i think you're cool" --- "i think you're cool too" --- "i'm glad we're friends" --- "me too".

OTP - him x basically everybody. i like it when other people love him as much as i do.

nOTP - the fuck is going on with his grandpa...

random headcanon - in both heaven and hell he did a lot of things which he was much too young for. it took him several years to realize just how fucked up that is.

unpopular opinion - i just think it's hilarious that he is canonically lecherous, violent, selfish, and insane; but he is NOT a rapist and usually when he gets into sexual crime he's either the victim or there isn't really a victim. the writers totally could have made him a rapist if they wanted to- they've made him a murderer, and some of his friends are rapists- but they just haven't made him do that. i love it.

Lorenzo! Okay, I love Lorenzo as a side character. I know he's originally an antagonist but then he completely caves to Alec crying in 3x16 (I think) and eventually he is at their wedding and it is such a friendship glow up. Lorenzo and Alec are my random BroTP and Lorenzo felt perfectly fine making this nephilim tears ask.

Anyway, that said, obviously he makes a misstep here where Magnus is concerned and Magnus is pissed off but I also thought it was funny to have Magnus internally consider throwing a fireball at him and then later have Magnus actually throw another warlock across the room because of Alec's burgeoning monopoly on the nephilim tears market.

Oh, also, I think you posted a picture of like Victorian tear catcher vials which I need to go find because that was my new automatic headcanon here. Alec totally start using those.

Random Headcanon: THE AUTOTUNE MIC!!! I like believing that his singing voice in canon is completely created by the mic. His microphone has magic in it that sucks in his voice and autotunes it in real time to make it sound like that so he can fit into any situation without having to worry about his real voice being a shit fit for a rap. And he keeps his real voice hidden from almost everyone (almost... couldn't hide it forever from GF and Pico).

Unpopular Opinion: I. Do not know. I guess the idea that he's overly sweet and sappy to his lovers more often than being a horny asshole but that's just like. A personal choice for how I write PoPr. I didn't think that I would get hooked onto this series. I seriously thought that it was just going to be a series that I would watch while I'm eating or something like that. But before I knew it, I already bingewatched the whole two seasons two nights in a row!

At first my thought was, "Wow, this guy reminds me of Jason Todd," but then I gotta get to know him more and he also reminds me of Eliot Spencer! Jack Reacher. What a guy.

I love his character, but my ultimate favorite is his brotp with Frances Neagley!! These two are awesome together. Neagley is needed in every season.

Also, I wouldn't mind a whole season of 110th adventure. That's gonna be epic.

This series has a whole lot of actions and explosions. Plotwise I think it's not in the outstanding rank, but it's still great in my book! The plot is very engaging and I enjoyed every minute of it.

For everyone online I see complaining about S2 because Reacher doesn't work alone and thus thinks that his status as 'lone wolf' is threatened, I don't agree with you. I think deep down, Reacher is always about family. First season about Joe. Second season about 110th. He cares deeply about people he deems worthy and he will go so far to protect them, or in this case, avenge them.

God forbid if something ever happened to Neagley. I'm pretty sure Reacher would turn over hell and heaven for her.

Alan Ritchson. He will be on my radar. I hope he gotta be Batman at least.

Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) & Luffy (One Piece)... Thanks to this fic I can't stop thinking about them 😭

(in this fic, Pirate King!Luffy dies, finds himself in Heaven, and yeets himself to Hell the second he finds out Heaven has rules. He meets Alastor, and... I'll let you find out what happens next.)

Anyway, yeah; Alastor&Luffy Brotp. They're polar opposites at first glance but they really do match each other's freak!!

Luffy is the most determined person in all of Creation, absolutely fearless and completely unwavering in his self-confidence. He has an infuriating lack of common sense, can't lie to save his skin, can't process sarcasm, and yet he's extremely good at reading people when it matters. He's an agent of chaos who hates the word "impossible". He wouldn't be affected by any of Alastor's intimidation tactics, and he would see right through his mask while also being comically gullible and oblivious when it comes to other things. Alastor would be infuriated by his complete lack of manners and braincells but also find him extraordinarily hilarious and entertaining, and respect his fearlessness and devotion to his dream. To Luffy, becoming the Pirate King means becoming the freest man on Earth, and that kind of absolute freedom is something Alastor definitely craves as well. (this is where things would get difficult because Luffy wants to be free to do whatever he wants without it coming at the cost of someone else's freedom, so he would want to destroy the soul contract system. I don't think Alastor would necessarily be against it if it means he gets to be freed from his own contract). Despite his dream of absolute freedom resulting in selfless acts like freeing slaves, Luffy isn't a hero and morals don't matter to him. He'll recruit thieves and assassins without hesitation and he'll destroy a country and work with all kinds of criminals if it means saving someone he likes. He wouldn't be fazed by Alastor having tortured people/being a cannibal (he'd probably ask him if human meat tastes good). Also, they're both ace 😆

I think we as a society should bring back brotps. I think we should be weirder about characters being friends the same way people are weird about ships. Make those two characters who interacted once or twice besties. Make it difficult for them to get rid of each other even if they want to. Go nuts

I looove charlie, hurley and locke. I also like sawyer, but I'll talk about him in depth later. charlie and hurley remind me of bill & ted, and I love how hurley is just both close to being the most insane person in the island (after the numbers reveal) next to locke, but he's also the sanest one!! he's giving us VARIETY!! I like charlie because I've struggled with addiction myself and I do understand most of his erratic behavior (especially after he went through the worst part of abstinence), and he's just trying his best, truly

locke is....a guy? for sure? I don't know whats going on with him he's like that meme that goes "source? the voices told me" he also needs to stop adopting random people in the island I mean BOONE??? rip thot it up in heaven. also the kidney shit was FOUL locke you should have commited murder for that

I do not like... sawyer. it's complicated. I love him I absolutely love him he's my babygirl and my wife, but he needs to be struck by lighting QUICK so he can realize the shit going on in the island. locke should definitely give him his own 'third eye opening' moment just like charlie and boone had one, I would love for that to happen

I also don't like shannon— she's cunty and all that, but I haven't managed to connect with her character outside of sometimes saying "yeah, slay, shes on her brat summer". I hope her character development brings her somewhere where I can connect, but so far I couldn't care less about her (and the incest subplot with boone made me like her much less, I also dislike boone for it... I just think that not being blood related doesn't excuse anything. a family is not always determined by blood.)

I dislike jin but because I'm extremely confused about him. he's a big interrogation sign to me and EVERYONE, like no matter how many damn flashbacks I see of his life... why the hell where you telling your wife to cover up and shit?? you guys are in the middle of nowhere. Let your woman LIVE. the flashbacks are trying to tell me that he's acting like this 'for a reason', and sure, I understood if you were an asshole to anyone else, but to your wife? the woman you're doing this for? being all aggressive is gonna drive things nowhere. idk.

when it comes to fanfic... I'd probably love to dabble in writing jack x sawyer because I hate how the show says 'love triangle' and it's not a triangle... yeah both guys are interested in kate, but if you don't make jack and sawyer interested in eachother too, it's just a love arrow. so that's the first thing: jack x sawyer to develop that part of the triangle

second thing, probably More charlie x hurley. brotp or otp I like both ideas since they remind me of bill & ted in a way (which were gay but also totally best friends) and some wacky brotp adventures between hurley and sawyer?

third thing would be just fics of sayid being an insane super smart guy, probably working together with locke to build something. I would love for that to happen in canon? but I think right now sayid just wants locke dead, and that's sad because their joint slay would be #insane.

I've read like two fics so far, I think one was jack x sawyer and the other one was sawyer x sayid x charlie (super rare combination but I fucked with it?) Favourite thing about them: The growth in her confidence and her leadership qualities over the course of the series. Charlie starts out wanting so badly to help people and make their lives better, but she's so concerned with being "nice" that she struggles with the idea that she might have to assert herself to achieve her dreams. It feels too mean. She gradually learns that she needs to stop waiting on the sidelines armed with nothing but good intentions: she needs to take a more direct approach, take responsibility for her people, and fight for her loved ones even if she has to be "mean" about it. That's why I really like "Ready For This," because it's what Charlie's character arc has been building to all along - acknowledging the privileged position she holds and finally feeling more comfortable with what she can do about it.

Least favourite thing about them: She's over 200 years old, and she's only now decided on the Hotel idea? What took her so long? How many Exterminations had there been before then? How many of her people died before she decided to act? And how sheltered was she if she never knew how corrupt Heaven was until she saw it in "Welcome to Heaven"? I think Charlie should have been younger so the audience wouldn't ask awkward questions like this.

Favourite line: "Just because someone is dead, it doesn't mean they can't resolve to change their ways!"

brOTP: I mentioned in a previous meme response about Angel Dust that I like the friendship Charlie has with him. I like seeing the way they both try to help and protect each other - they don't always get things right, but they're trying because they care about each other, and that's nice to see. Also, I like the moment in the pilot when Angel teases Charlie about the lack of guests at the hotel, and then stops because she looks so sad. He can't bring himself to be mean to her because she's too nice.

I also enjoyed watching Charlie and Emily team up during "You Didn't Know". They're pretty similar characters, both very cheerful and hopeful and keen to see the best in people, with the only difference being where they live. I hope we get to see more of "Charmily" collaborating in Season 2! (Because it did always bother me that Emily promised to help Charlie and then didn't really do anything in the finale.)

OTP: Chaggie! I haven't posted about them much (mainly because my brain's been focused on the hurt/comfort potential of Huskerdust), but that doesn't mean I don't like the pairing! A developing romance like Huskerdust may have more drama, but sometimes it's just nice to see an established couple who are clearly comfortable in each other's company and trust each other.

Charlie and Vaggie have a fun dynamic because they're different but similar - if that makes sense? One's an optimist with occasional scary moments, and the other's a grump with occasional sweet moments, and I like both those character tropes, so I suppose it was inevitable that I would end up shipping Chaggie. They look cute together!

nOTP: Charlie and Valentino. That arm-licking scene? Ew. Ew. Ewwww.

Random headcanon: Charlie has had extensive First Aid training, which she's used to patch up wounded sinners after Exterminations. If Angel ever comes back from work looking particularly messed up, it'll be Charlie who gives him the medical attention he needs.

Unpopular opinion: This isn't unpopular per se, because I also saw @gabrielsbubblegumbitch make a post about this, but ... why is Charlie only working on a small Hotel, a passion project, when she's got the power and authority to effect much wider-ranging changes in Hell that would ultimately make people's afterlives more bearable? I understand her fervent desire to save sinners from Extermination, because Exterminated sinners are gone forever, and that's tragic for her - but what is she doing to improve things between purges?

For example, when will she sort out the cruel and exploitative Overlord system? Charlie showed up at Angel's workplace once to try some "aggressive kindness" with Valentino ... and then I guess she never tried to help her friend again? Huh?

Look, I get the message that "Masquerade" was trying to convey. Sometimes, people are in situations that are too big and complex for you to handle alone, and you need to know when to step back because a hasty intervention might only make things worse. But that message doesn't really work with a character like Charlie Morningstar, because she's the Princess of Hell and could totally put Valentino in his place if she wanted.

It frustrates me that the plot thread of "Charlie potentially freeing Angel from Valentino" was never brought up again. Had Season 1 been given more episodes, the series could have expanded on that and given Charlie more to do. Maybe she could have collaborated with Angel on a scheme. I'm not saying Angel's contract issue needed to be resolved in the first season; I just wish it had been fleshed out more.

Song I associate with them: "Persephone" by MJQ x EmpahP (performed by Daina). It's about a woman born into privilege who feels uneasy about her position. The lyrics mention "sharing the air of kings" and being "an angel with borrowed wings." And there's even a section about needing to fight and being lucky if she makes it out alive, which calls to mind the battle with the Exorcists in the finale. This song just seems right for Charlie.
