Increase Vehicle Safety with Blind Spot Detection Sensor and Connectors
With the ever-changing nature of the automotive industry ensuring the drivers and passengers safety, a high priority. The Blind Spot Detection Sensor is one of the most recent technologies aimed at filling this gap. This system ensures to alert drivers with hidden obstacles that can go unnoticed in the blind points of their car and can thus prevent accidents during moving lanes or in the merging process.
These sensors utilize radar or ultrasonic technology to observe the surroundings of your car, particularly in blind areas, If something enters your blind spot, the system will sound an alarm if you try to change lanes, so you can avoid an accident.
The Blind Spot Detection Sensor Electrical Connector is an integral component of this safety technology. It ensures that sensor messaging functions without a hitch between the sensor and the vehicle's core electronic brain.
Our sensors and electrical connectors are manufactured with high-quality materials to provide long-lasting performance. As the perfect product for our drivers, Swift Auto Products is committed to enhancing the safety of their vehicles. If replacements involve an upgrade of your current system or a new plant, our appliances will provide you with the latest in safety technology.

You don't feel hands on your chassis. You can't feel boots pressed into recessed maintenance holds, or climbing ropes shot across your frame. Your sensor suite is powerful, the neural link is advanced, but these are just sensory hallucinations as your mind tries to process data. You know this, and knowing doesn't help.
The angle grinders and plasma torches don't sting, don't burn, not really. That's just the alerts flooding through your brain, warning glyphs and imminent core compromise tones blaring in your ears and projected into your mind, re-mapped onto your body. You thrash and whine in the dark, in the rapidly cooling anti-g liquid.
Your lungs still respirate, oxygen rich anti-compression liquid still pumps manually through them even as every other system around you dies and discharges, battery power burning down while the collection crew swarms around your corpse looking for your soft spots like ants carving up a dead animal.
It's been a day, maybe longer, since the hit. A perfect shot from an anti-orbital cannon mid-insertion, just as your atmospheric entry sled was opening. You'd barely seen the ground before everything below the cockpit was severed in blinding flash of heat and light and you were crashing into the dirt, dug meters into frozen earth.
You've wasted so much energy sending pulses up into the sky, trying to reconnect to WarSats that you'd seen the glittery death-flashes of already, trying in vain to call down some last gasp of atomic fury, begging a broken fleet to annihilate you and the insects trying to scrap you, trying to take you alive.
Even your reactor is offline, cold and dead before you got a chance to flare it, to pop the sacrificial plug that would have sent purifying gout of plasma into your cockpit as it squelched out. All you have left are fitful, angry bursts of radar and ranging lasers, something to warm the bones of anything careless enough to pass in front of a functional sensor pod. You hope it fries them, hope they choke on future cancer like you're starting to choke on congealing immersion fluid.
You know that when they open you open, cut your cables and drag you out of yourself, that it won't be kind. Won't be quick. You used all of your anti-personnel munitions on the first group that tried to break you open. And the second. You didn't have enough to finish the third.
You can't feel the anger in their cutting torches, nor malice in their stomping and scrambling around for purchase, you don't have a sensor that can detect rage or tag malevolence-at-range. But you feel it, growing as the skies above darken again and the pulsing warnings in your brain die down.

The robin games, part 1.
chapter 1/7.
“Who’s the best Robin? Me, obviously,” Dick declared with a grin, arms crossed over his chest. His Nightwing suit gleamed faintly under the Batcave lights. Jason snorted from where he leaned on a couch in the cave, polishing one of his guns. “You’ve been riding that ‘firstborn’ privilege for too long, Grayson.” “Yeah, well, the best Robin doesn’t turn into a walking midlife crisis in red leather, nor does he die by a crowbar,” Tim chimed in, earning a growl from Jason. “Silence,” Damian cut in smoothly. “You’re all delusional. I was bred to be superior. The best Robin is the current Robin. Obviously.” Batman had barely looked up from the Batcomputer. In fact, Bruce had endured this same argument every day for the past month. But today, he’d reached his limit. So, Batman did what any rational man with four hyper-competitive vigilante children would do: he weaponized their nonsense into a peacekeeping strategy. He turned in his chair, cape swishing dramatically behind him and like the diva he was, asked. “You want to know who the best Robin is?” All four stared at him. “Prove it,” Bruce said. “You get one challenge. Break into the Watchtower. Stay hidden. Longest undetected wins.” “Wins what?” Dick asked suspiciously. “Bragging rights,” Bruce answered. Then, after a beat: “And Alfred’s triple-chocolate cookies. The whole batch.” The room went silent. Jason immediately straightened. “I’m in.” “Me too,” said Tim. “Tt. Prepare to be humiliated,” Damian said, already reaching for his sword. Bruce tapped a few keys and turned back to the screen. “You’ll be given a 30 minute window to begin. All at once. Entry clearance for five minutes. After that, the Watchtower security system goes live.” “And you won’t help us?” Dick asked, raising an eyebrow. “Absolutely not,” Bruce replied. “I’ll act like i dont know you’re there, unless the other Leaguers have discovered you.”
And so the game was on. The rules? Winner is whoever stays hidden the longest. sabotaging others is allowed as long as you havent been found. you may mess with the league to your heart's desires. Bruce wont take action or even acknowledge them unless other leaguers do.
Dick POV. The zeta tube opened silently beside the Justice League’s Watchtower, and the robins dropped in, all running off in different directions. The massive space station hummed with quiet power, sensors and monitors blinking in blue and green. They’ve only gotten thirty minutes before the alarms would reactivate. Enough time, Dick thought with a smirk. First order of business: find a secure spot. With years of experience as Nightwing, and a history of infiltrating high-security facilities, Dick moved swiftly, scanning for blind spots in camera feeds and sensor fields. The Watchtower’s security protocols were sophisticated, designed to detect even a single unauthorized microchip, Tim made sure of that. But he wasn’t just any intruder. Batman’s override meant he had limited access and a short window to disable as much as he could before systems rebooted. In a quiet hallway near the Justice League’s common area, Dick found the security hub, a wall of consoles and displays constantly flickering with data streams. Using his wrist computer, he quickly interfaced with the terminal, fingers flying over the virtual keyboard. “Let’s see what we’re dealing with,” he muttered. The Watchtower’s AI security system was impressive, with multi-layered firewalls and encrypted protocols that even Batman respected. But Dick had his own tricks, an amalgam of hacking skills learned from Oracle and Tim. Within minutes, he was rerouting some camera feeds to loop previous footage and injecting false sensor data to mask his movement. “Should keep them guessing for a while,” he said with a grin. Next came the tricky part: setting up camp. The Watchtower wasn’t designed for stealth camping, but Dick was adaptable. He slipped into the ventilation ducts, finding a tight crawlspace above the main observation deck. It was cramped but perfect for hiding and monitoring the activity below. He set up his comms receiver on a low power mode, just enough to listen but not give away his position. Time to wait and watch the chaos unfold. He chuckled quietly. “Let the games begin.”
Jason POV.
Jason Todd’s lips curled into a crooked grin the moment he materialized through the zeta tube. The Watchtower was a fortress of order and high-tech sophistication, but Jason saw it as a playground ripe for chaos. Thirty minutes before the alarms kick back on. Plenty of time to make things interesting. He flexed his fingers, itching to leave his mark. Jason moved like a shadow, his footsteps silent on the sleek floors. The Justice League was out on a mission, leaving the Watchtower eerily empty. Perfect. First order of business? Set some minor traps. He darted to the kitchen, grinning as he eyed the pristine food prep area. With a flick of his wrist, he swapped the labels on some juice containers and scattered a handful of salt where the sugar normally sat. A couple of coffee mugs he rearranged, one just slightly off balance, ready to fall off the counter if nudged, and so much more. Nothing that would cause real damage, but definitely enough to raise eyebrows. Next, he snuck into the common area. He moved some of the furniture just a few inches, chairs slightly askew, cushions flipped upside down, and rigged a small trip wire with a piece of spare cable from the maintenance closet. Nothing lethal, just a mild surprise for whoever wandered through next. Jason smirked. A little chaos goes a long way. But Jason’s favorite bit was saved for last. Wonder Woman’s quarters. He approached the door, heart beating a little faster than usual, not from nerves, but from a strange mix of admiration and excitement. Diana was his favorite hero. Her strength, honor, and no-nonsense attitude always fascinated him. Careful to avoid the pressure sensors, Jason cracked the door open just a sliver and peeked inside. The room was exactly how he imagined, a blend of ancient warrior’s simplicity and modern sophistication. A polished spear rested against the wall, the iconic tiara and bracelets glinting under the soft light. The smell of sandalwood lingered faintly in the air. Jason lingered for a moment, taking it all in. Then, he slipped away without a trace. Now, to find a hiding spot. Jason scouted the upper decks and found a storage bay filled with old League gear and unused supplies. Dark, cluttered, and with multiple exit points, perfect for a quick escape or setting traps if needed. He ducked inside, settling in behind a stack of crates. “Let them come find me,” he whispered, already plotting how to mess with the league andd his brother.
Tim POV. Tim Drake slipped through the zeta tube with barely a sound, landing softly on the metallic floor of the Watchtower’s lower level. A compact bag hung over one shoulder, meticulously packed with everything he’d need: energy drinks, snacks, his trusty toolkit, and, of course, a sleek laptop. “Thirty minutes before security kicks back in. Should be plenty of time,” Tim thought, already running through his plan. Unlike his brothers, Tim wasn’t just relying on stealth or sabotage. He knew the Watchtower’s security system inside and out, after all, he had been the one who helped code many of its protocols. The system was a masterpiece of layered encryption, but no system was perfect. He made his way quickly but cautiously to the maintenance room, tucked deep in a rarely accessed corner of the station. The room was filled with cables, panels, and emergency controls, the perfect hidden spot and a strategic advantage point. As he settled in, Tim pulled out his laptop, fingers flying over the keyboard. Screens popped up as he accessed the Watchtower’s security matrix. “Let’s see... disable the motion sensors in my vicinity, loop camera feeds in adjacent corridors, and set a few false positives to keep them chasing ghosts,” he muttered, systematically dismantling the surveillance around him. The hacking felt like second nature. The familiar rhythms of code and commands were a comforting contrast to the chaos his brothers would be causing elsewhere. Snacking on a protein bar and sipping an energy drink, Tim settled in to monitor the system, ready to respond if anyone got close. “Precision and patience,” he reminded himself. “The best Robin doesn’t just fight, he outthinks.” And with that, Tim vanished into the digital shadows of the Watchtower.
Damian POV.
Damian Wayne didn’t waste time. The zeta tube shimmered around him for only a moment before he was moving, sleek, silent, and purposeful. Unlike his brothers, who probably wasted precious minutes indulging in petty games or nostalgia, Damian had a clear objective. Victory. He slipped into the shadows, immediately identifying the overhead vent grating near the hallway junction. It took him less than six seconds to reach it, unscrew the bolts with a compact tool, and vanish into the ductwork like a phantom. “Only fools camp on the ground,” he thought with disdain. The Watchtower’s ventilation system was extensive, a labyrinthine network that wove above and between every major area of the station. Most importantly, it was outside the range of most biometric sensors and offered clear vantage points for observation and, when needed, sabotage. As he crawled deeper into the vents, Damian passed over the common area and glimpsed a flicker of movement below. Probably Todd, doing something immature. No doubt he'd leave evidence. “Amateur,” Damian muttered, unimpressed. Deeper still, he found what he was looking for: a wide junction above the Watchtower’s central data core. The duct opened up into a cross-section of airways, allowing easy escape in any direction. He unfolded a compact mat, securing it with suction clips inside the metal walls, and arranged his gear in orderly fashion. Smoke pellets, flash bombs, sleeping darts, a wristpad to monitor security feeds, and, more importantly, a small, encrypted communicator linked to the Watchtower’s maintenance channels. He activated a localized white-noise emitter, just strong enough to confuse nearby audio sensors. With everything in place, Damian sat cross-legged in the duct and exhaled slowly. “Let them play their little games. I will simply outlast them all.”

so for the past few days I've been contemplating what kind of car Law would drive in my university au~ for the record this au has literally possessed me the last few weeks even tho I haven't really posted about it here (my planning doc for it is over 20k words >.>) I made a small post about it when the possession started if anyone wants to know what I'm talking about (I have a TLDR on Law in my AU at the bottom of the post under the cut)
His car cannot be cool in any way because I truly believe that he would choose a car based on safety ratings first and then practicality (if it feels kinda like the type of car a middle aged woman or grandmother would drive, that's the right vibe lol) I know that I kinda want it to be a crossover because the idea of that man driving a crossover just feels right to me~
So, I ask the opinions of masses:
(at the risk of sounding like a car salesman) info on the cars, pictures. and my case for each below:
Hyundai Tucson
Overall Saftey rating: 5 star (for 2020 or newer) Driver Assist Safety features: driver attention warning, lane-keep assist, auto emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert Airbags: 6 total (Dual front airbags, Front side-mounted airbags, Front and rear head airbags, and Passenger airbag) Note: This is the largest and most expensive of the three cars (If that matters to anyone) OP Note: idk I kinda don't like that this one is on the larger size. I just sort of like the idea of Law in a smaller car seems more...dorky...and that's the goal lol
Nissan Kicks
Overall Saftey rating: 4 star (for 2020 - points deducted for "passenger side overlap", later years for 5 stars~) Driver Assist Safety features: auto high beams, auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear auto braking, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert Airbags: 10 total (dual-stage front airbags, front and rear seat-mounted side-impact airbags, knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact airbags with rollover sensors) OP Note: hi I have a personal bias towards this one because I drive a 2020 kicks and she's very cute and has already saved my ass in an accident and come out without a scratch~ (I have a bias towards Nissans in general because I, as someone with a lot of hours on the road, have been saved by them multiple times in crashes lol) I also love that I was told by one dealer that it was "an old lady car" and I kinda love that for Law
Honda Fit
Overall Saftey rating: 4 Star (for 2020 - earned 4 star in roll over rating which is a little...😬 for reasons..., later years were 5 stars) Driver Assist Safety features: auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and auto high beams Airbags: 6 total (front airbags, front side airbags, and side curtain airbags) Note: this is the smallest and most affordable of the three OP Note: I lean away from this one just on the lack of driver assist features, bad roll over rating, and the fact that it only has 6 airbags (but she's cute and smol lol)
For the record, these are some of the first things I looked for when buying my car lol I've unfortunately been in too many accidents (only one was on me okay >.>) to not prioritize safety and driver assist features Also if anyone doesn't want to read my ramblings on my AU and want the TLDR on Law in the AU; He's in his first year as a surgical resident, and at this point has his own apartment and his own car
#can y'all tell that I have a preference for Japanese cars lol#I'm curious what other people think even tho I have a clear bias (projecting? who's projecting?)#also the safety of Law's car (especially it's roll over rating) is /very/ important for reasons~#anyways...#Trafalgar Law#Trafalgar D. Water Law#Trafalgar D Law#I'm also gonna tag this as#LawLu#LuLaw#LuLawLu#because the fic is primarily a Lawlu fic sooooooooooooooo#Sophia talks to much#poll#LawLu University AU

inspired by a little post that @keferon made recently.
He wasn't.
And then, he was.
Stepping forth, shaky on his legs, he stood on the stark white floor like a cyberfawn standing for the very first time. He looked up and saw the light, a blinding brightness. His first instinct was to shutter his optics, and he did, opening them just a little bit more.
Those simple lines of code ran for the very first time, the cybernetics in his optics narrowing until the light grew more dim, and objects came into view. Some moving, some not.
Cybetronian.
Table.
Chair.
Medical Bay.
He looked down at himself.
Servos.
Armor plating.
Protoform.
Stabilizers.
This place, he understood, was the Medical Bay, recognizable with those particular symbols. His olfactory sensors detected the scent of solvent and medical-grade energon, both of which were now being added to his chemi-index. He already knew this. Of course he did. Just as well as he knew himself, and what he was, he knew the facts of his existence.
He felt hot inside.
Like something was burning, trapped within.
He was a cybertronian. He was made of living metal. Searching his mind, there were protocols and procedures, much knowledge about things and lacking knowledge about others.
What am I called?
Before the answer could be found, though, he was spotted by an orange-and-white mech, hurriedly pushed back down on the medical berth. Other cybertronians swarmed around him, checking him. He did not like this. Too many other cybertronians.
I am too warm still.
I cannot let it out.
Another line of code within his processor. It felt oddly familiar. He approved it, and his fans began to activate at a low hum. The uncomfortable heat began to dissipate.
"Wakey, wakey." The orange-and-white mech spoke. His voice sounded a little rough, like his vocalizer had been damaged, once. "Can you see?"
"Yes." His own voice was smooth, new, but it took force to speak, just the same way it took some force to move his joints. He was new.
"Better... listen here. Your fans didn't activate right away, but we've fixed that up for you." His fans? He was alive before? Perhaps he had been. Perhaps he wasn’t. Or, he may not have remembered. This was important. He stored the information away in his logic processor for later use.
"Relax. Wiped your memory banks so you wouldn’t make a fuss." The mech in front of him began to poke and prod again. Another light in his optics. A flush of cold solvent into his audials. Each joint, checked, by these medics.
"His fans are fully functional."
"Internals all look like they're in order."
"Give him a little energon and he'll be good to go."
"Good." The orange-and-white mech turned to him. "Your designation is 060112. Remember. That. Designation, Prowl. But you can change that later if you want." The mech began to leave. He seemed to recall something, turning to face hi- Prowl, once again.
"Oh, one more thing. You'd better head up to Magnus soon. He doesn’t take it well when someone is late."

Goddess of Victory: Nikke - Story Recap
Chapter 12: Hometown - Part 1
The Commander, Rapi, and Matis squad's fall doesn't last long, landing in a deep underground pit. The narrow shaft of light from the pit they fell through illuminates a massive cave structure, full of dilapidated structures like the ruins of an underground city.
The team getting their bearings is interrupted when Shifty calls, warning them that there's some kind of hostile signal interfering with communications. Comms could be lost entirely at any moment, and the interference means Shifty can't even locate the source of the signal. Maxwell reassures her that there's nothing to fear, so long as they have Drake, turning to her squadmate and asking her to do her thing. Drake demands someone kneel and beg as compensation, and when Laplace refuses to comply out of Heroic Pride, Maxwell compromises by promising to treat Drake to premium beef when they get home.
Shifty requests some kind of context for the comedy routine, and Maxwell explains that Drake is equipped with sensors that allow her to detect and track various electronic signals and radio waves, allowing her to serve as field operator. Rapi is impressed by Matis's extensive capabilities, and Laplace seizes the opportunity to boast, claiming that with superior Missilis technology, Maxwell's ingenuity, Drake's sensor array, and her own Hero Power, there's nothing the the all powerful Matis squad cannot do! Shifty mutters under her breath that "Hero Power" is not a quantifiable resource.
Rapi muses on Laplace's words, considering what it means to "the strongest", given the kinds of enemies they've been facing. Tyrants, Chatterbox, Heretics... Before Laplace can offer a rebuttal, Drake exclaims that she's found something, and starts off like a bloodhound, and the rest of the squad follow suit.
The source of the signal isn't far, guarded by a few Raptures ambling about the vicinity. Upon locating the jamming device, Maxwell announces over comms that they're going to destroy it. Shifty initially objects, concerned about the tactical value of studying this new form of Rapture technology, but Maxwell says they don't have the luxury of study when their communications are barely holding out.
Once the jammer is disable, Shifty is at last able to perform a scan...only to identify a number of energy signals rapidly closing and surrounding the squad from their blind spot. Everyone whirls around to brace for impact, and are shocked to see...
The remaining two members of Counters, followed not far behind by Absolute. Maxwell sighs heavily, and turns on Shifty for not telling them that the approaching signals were friendlies, while Anis teases that it's her own fault for not noticing them.
Eunwha and Vesti are quick to chide Matis on their slow progress, while Maxwell retorts that they should thank the Missilis team for clearing the way. Emma says that given the embarrassment with the bridge, they should call it even. Laplace apologizes profusely as Anis and Neon continue ribbing her, but Eunwha shushes them, reminding them that they are all still in enemy territory. With the full party reunited, Shifty begins directing everyone to their goal: the location of the Heretic fragments. Before they head out, Eunwha asks what Rapi and Matis encountered, and Rapi tells them of the bizarre tentacles that struck them, as well as their battle with the Harvester. Laplace assures Eunwha that they only suffered some scratches, but Emma remains concerned.
The party sets out into the sprawling tunnels, following Shifty's directions to the supposed location of the Heretic fragments. They move at a brisk pace, finding their path surprisingly unobstructed. Anis seizes the opportunity to continue teasing Eunwha, much to Vesti's delight. Rapi asks Shifty to verify that they're making progress and she confirms, saying they're about an hour out from their objective at the current pace. Rapi exchanges a worried glance with Eunwha. Something doesn't feel right, but neither can say anything for certain yet...
The trek through the uncannily quiet tunnels continues, until Eunwha abruptly gives the order to stop. Anis asks why when they're making good progress, and Eunwha directs her to take a closer look at her surroundings. Sure enough, as the group looks around they realize that...they're in the same room they started in. Neon wonders if they've ended up in some kind of fantastical labyrinth, but Shifty verifies that they have been moving close to the objective. Maxwell reasons that the Rapture, likely whatever attacked them with the tentacles earlier, must be be somehow reconfiguring the tunnels as they move. Anis wonders what the purpose is when they have an operator to direct them, and Rapi suggests that this tactic may be intended to disorient Nikkes without the assistance of an operator, sowing panic and confusion as they walk through a winding tunnel that seems to stretch on forever.
Anis feels that constructing such a massive and elaborate structure just to prey on lost Nikkes is impractical, and there must be something else going on. Maxwell agrees, but doesn't have any idea what exactly it might be. Laplace and Vesti reassure Anis that no matter what awaits them, with Matis and Absolute present there's no way they're danger, but Anis can't help but worry that they've inadvertently wandered into the belly of the beast.
Her fears are well founded as the group soon finds themselves making no progress. Shifty reports that she can now pick up on the rapid fluctuations of their surroundings, as if the labyrinth itself seems to be keeping them in place, stopping them from getting any close to the Heretic fragments. Rooms that loop in on themselves, tunnels that twist back around, Counters, Absolute, and Matis are stranded.
Maxwell suggests they try to just brute force it and force their way through, while Rapi counters that they can retreat and try to determine if there's a pattern or solution to the shifting labyrinth. Eunwha and Laplace are unwilling to fall back and tarnish their squads' respective 100% mission success rate. Anis summarizes that they're trapped deep underground in a twisting network of caves that is actively hindering them, still trying to get to the Heretic fragments, and flying blind because their operator can't get a clear scan of their path. Laplace corrects her, as she forgot to mention that Matis is the strongest in the world, but she got everything else.
Laplace says that she knows the way. Her Hero Sense is tingling, telling her the path forward. Maxwell follows her gaze and points out a specific passageway, and asks if Drake has the same feeling. Drake agrees, it's this way, so Maxwell happily says that Matis will take the lead and forge a path, but Eunwha is skeptical. Maxwell insists, she knows the way. It's here.
Eunwha is about to continue arguing when Emma steps over and whispers in her ear. Whatever Emma says, Eunwha relents and agrees to follow Matis's lead. Anis teasingly asks if Eunwha is planning to shoot them all with their backs turned, while Rapi asks what the plan is. Eunwha says she'll explain on the way, while Laplace cheerfully gives the order to march and sets out in the twisting labyrinth.
Once they're underway, Shifty reports they are once again making progress toward their target. Anis gripes that following one's gut in this situation is akin to flipping a coin or rubbing a rabbit's foot, but Laplace corrects her that it's not gut or intuition, it's Hero Sense. Completely different. Anis isn't convinced. Rapi addresses Emma and Eunwha as they walk, but rather than speak the two of them start communicating with hand signals. Rapi instantly responds in kind, and the three begin an animated conversation in sign, completely ignoring Anis's attempts to goad Eunwha. Anis and Neon instead watch the silent dialogue, realization crossing their faces. They open their mouths to respond but Rapi only nods quietly. Commander asks what's going on, unable to follow what Counters and Absolute are saying with their hands. Anis reassures them that it's nothing they need to worry about.
Maxwell eventually leads the squad to a large open chamber, and announcing they've arrived. It's here. Shifty confirms, their coordinates match the objective's last known location, and sure enough there's a peculiar object resting on a pedestal in the middle of the room, and she gives the go ahead to secure the Heretic fragments. Rapi acknowledges, as she and Eunwha open fire on Matis, dropping Maxwell, Drake, and Laplace to the floor.
Commander stares in shock and horror, wheeling on Rapi and demanding an explanation. Rapi flatly states that Matis have been Corrupted. They don't believe it, they look back to Matis for proof it's wrong, but...
Matis squad's expressions are blank, their eyes empty and glowing a familiar ominous red. Even after being shot, laying incapacitated on the ground, they continue to mutter endless.
It's here. This way. It's here. This way. It's here. This way. It's here. This way. It's here. This way.It's here. This way.It's here.This way.It's here.This way.It's here.This way.It's here.This way.It's here.This way.It's here.This way.
They repeat the same phrase over and over and over and over, like a broken record, leading them here. Just like Marian.
The Commander's mouth goes dry. How? When did this happen?
Emma says it must have been at some point after they were separated, as she identified signs of Corruption when they had reunited in the underground. She wasn't sure then, but the signs were unmistakable the deeper into the maze they got. She suggests it might have been those tentacles that struck them before their battle with the Harvester.
Commander's heart sinks into their gut. They turn to Rapi, fearing the worst...
She's alright. She reassures them that she's fine, perhaps the tentacle didn't pierce deep enough to administer the Corruption. Emma confirms that Rapi is clean, and Commander asks how she knows. She explains that rapid, erratic eye movement are a symptom of early onset Corruption. Too slight to be noticed without knowing what to look for, but to the trained eye they're clear as day.
Neon regretfully says they should have told Commander what was coming, but Rapi says that it's better they didn't. After all, the Commander would've tried to stop them in the hopes that Matis could be saved. Commander can't argue with her. They would have done exactly that. Rapi tells the Commander that their compassion for Nikkes is admirable, but here in the heart of an enemy stronghold, there is no room for uncertainty or hesitation, and apologizes for hiding the truth from them.
Commander asks if Matis are dead, given they're still speaking, muttering the same mindless phrase continuously, and Eunwha says they're not. She and Rapi used suppression rounds, specifically designed to incapacitate Nikkes without causing lasting damage. Rapi says that while standing orders are that Corrupted Nikkes be disposed of immediately lest they become a threat, there have been some exceptions where they could be saved by administering a Memory Wipe within a few hours of the Corruption taking hold.
Commander pieces things together. That's why Matis suddenly knew the way forward, that was the Corruption setting in. They were luring the rest of the squad to this location, just like Marian had been used to lure them to the Blacksmith. Rapi confirms their suspicions.
Eunwha is more concerned with what they could've been trying to lure everyone into. What is presumably a Heretic Fragment is there, out in the open, unprotected. Anis is understandably cautious. It can't possibly be as simple as grabbing the piece and leaving. Shifty asks the Commander to connect their CombiLink to the pedestal so she can determine if she can disable the labyrinth, but before they can even take a step, she calls for everyone to prepare for impact. A massive energy signal, exceeding even a Tyrant, appears on Shifty's monitor as if from nowhere, centered on the Heretic Fragment. The signal spreads, filling the room.
With a metallic screech that sounds more like a scream, the passageway the squad entered through collapses and the walls quiver and shake. The walls give way, revealing the chamber to be even larger than previously thought, stacked full of industrial cargo containers, and the same tentacles that attacked Matis and Rapi earlier emerge. Supports and weaponry deploy from the ceiling and floor, forming a protective barricade around the Heretic Fragment on the pedestal at the center
The chamber is alive. The entire room is a single, massive Rapture, with the Heretic Fragment as its heart.

Absolute and Counters take position, Rapi warns to be cautious of the tentacles, and Eunwha snaps at her not to bother saying the obvious. Encounter!
To call the battle frantic would be an understatement. It was one thing for Counters to fight an entire building from a safe distance, and something entirely when the floor beneath your feet was actively trying to kill you. Commander can do little more than hide, as everything in the room ignores them and blindly targets the Nikkes, who must contend with smaller Raptures filing into the room in response to the Fragment's calls for aid, cannons sliding in on rails only to be replaced within seconds of being destroyed, and the encroaching tentacles. The best they can do is call attention to each new threat as it filters into the room, in the hopes that someone will take it out and keep the squad from being overwhelmed and picked off one by one.
With repeated fire and attrition however, the Fragment begins to falter. It attacks blindly and mindlessly, expending energy to simply throw more weapons and parts rather than acting with any real strategy. By focusing fire on each new weapon as it enters, the Fragment is unable to effectively fight back, until Eunwha finally seizes a moment when its defenses are down to fire a shot clean through the core. With a sound like shattering glasses, the room begins to collapse, the supports and rail system falling apart, the altar the fragment rested upon crumbling, and ceiling falling to nothing, opening the chamber to the open sky as the Fragment goes silent.
After a tense moment of silence, Shifty verifies that there are no further signs of activity in the chamber, and all Rapture signals have vacated the vicinity in response to the Fragment being defeated.
Rapi moves to collect the Fragment, but Commander stops her. Since it is capable of causing Corruption, it's far too dangerous to handle carelessly. They call Ingrid and Andersen, to inform them of the situation and request extraction.
While Rapi checks on the still incapacitated members of Matis, Shifty delivers the Commander's report, and announces that three transport planes carrying two battalions of mass-produced Nikkes are on their way to retrieve Counters, Absolute, Matis, and the Heretic Fragment, scheduled to arrive within the hour. Courtesy of Andersen and Ingrid.
Anis reluctantly admits that despite not being on board with telling Andersen and Ingrid everything, there are certainly benefits to having support from higher up the chain of command. Neon is more interested in the dozens of cargo containers piled up throughout the chamber that the Fragment was kept in. Curiosity is driving her crazy, so she asks Shifty if it's alright to open them. Shifty doesn't detect any energy signatures in the area, so the containers...probably don't have any traps or Raptures or the like inside so she gives Neon the okay to take a peek.
Practically giddy with excitement, Neon unlatches one of the containers and begins to pull it open. The instant the door is so much as cracked Shifty begins to detect a faint energy reading, but before anyone can stop her, Neon flings the container door open wide.
No one is prepared for what they see.
The container is full of death. Something beyond death, more horrific and cruel that simple death.
Bodies. Corpses. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens upon dozens of Nikkes. Mangled, twisted, broken, bent, folded, and crushed. A mountain of bodies compressed to fit in a small metal container with no thought given to how they would be mutilated to fit in such a confined space.
Vesti and Anis shriek. Rapi and Eunwha shout, their voices tangled with anger and terror. Emma stares in horrified silence. Commander sprints forward and slams the container door shut.
Neon stares. Her eyes wide, and jaw slack. She turns to the Commander and asks what that was. They try to dodge the question, just saying that they should all probably refrain from touching anything else while they're here. Neon shakily looks around the room.
It is full of identical containers. Stacked floor to ceiling. Haphazard piles, strewn about, filling the space. She had used one as cover while fighting the Fragment.
She turns back to the Commander. Her breathing is erratic, she's shaking, terror in her eyes so deep and primal it defies description. Is every single one of these containers full of-
Before she can even get the question out, Commander grabs Neon's shoulders and forces her to look them in the eye. It's just a bad dream. Whatever she saw in the container, it wasn't real. She's okay. She's safe.
The panic gradually fades from Neon's face and she calms down, as the squad sit and wait for pick up in sickened silence.
Forty minutes later, the aerial transports are overhead, visible through the gaping hole in the cavernous ceiling created when the Fragment was defeated. Due to the altitude needed to avoid detection and the precarious nature of the landing zone, it'll take a few more minutes to touchdown and get everyone aboard, but even so, Anis and Neon breathe a heavy sigh of relief.
Until the sound of plastic restraints straining and tearing can be heard. Laplace has woken up, expression blank, eyes glowing a dull, empty red.
Before anyone can react, a wave of force pulses outward from Laplace as she engages her defensive systems, creating a bubble of searing plasma around her. All the while she screams that she is a hero, a beacon of hope.
She cannot be defeated! She is the shining light that will burn away all evil in the name of justice!
Her voice catches on that last word like a broken record, screaming it in desperation over and over and over again as the Laplace Buster materializes in her hands, the cannon's barrel shining with deadly force.
Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice!
Like a marionette controlled by a talentless puppeteer she jerkily aims the cannon upward, zeroing in on the transports still visible in the air.
Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice!
Her possessed mantra becomes strained, agonized. Tears stream from her eyes even as her face remains frozen in an unfeeling mask. Her finger hovers over the trigger, as if unable to fire.
Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice! Justice!
She wails. Screams her throat hoarse as she flings the Laplace Buster away with all her strength, sending it smashing against a wall. Her voice is ragged, as if every word is painful.
I am. A hero!
Laplace's movements are pained, as if something is fighting with all its strength to defy her as she reaches into her coat and draws her sidearm.
I will. Never. Put. Others.
The pistol, almost comical in how the blue and gold matches her armor like a child's toy rather than a weapon, hangs frozen in the air as her hand refuses to move.
In. Danger!
With great effort, as if dragging the weight of the world itself, her hand brings the pistol under her chin.
Sorry. Eunwha!
She puts her finger on the trigger.
Take. Care. Of. The res-

Click to Blind spot monitor Wiki
Auxiliary effects on driver’s decision.
Upon activation of the vehicle's turn signal (left or right), the MDVR system automatically switches to the Blind Spot Detection (BSD) channel, displaying live video footage on a full 7-inch screen. This functionality is made possible through an I/O sensor that is connected to the vehicle's signal line during the initial MDVR installation, allowing for seamless triggering of the BSD channel.
As a result, the driver can immediately view the blind spot area on the display to check for any moving pedestrians or vehicles before making a turning maneuver, allowing for a more informed and safer driving decision.
