Colossians 1:16 states, "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.”

A logo is designed to communicate something about an organization. Much thought and prayer go into this very brief pictorial statement. A logo is meant to have impact. It is meant to draw a person’s interest. It facilitates instant recognition. It conveys values and character, fostering trust and loyalty.

In EI’s 50 years, the logo has undergone at least 5 changes. Initially, the logo showed an open Bible and a sheaf of wheat, demonstrating the organization’s central theme, the Gospel of Christ must go to the world. The original logo from 1975 was updated in 1978.

In 1990, the design was changed to a circle with 3 thick horizontal lines and a number of more narrow vertical lines. The lines were various shades of green.

In this design, the artist was showing 

1. The Light of the world shining from Christians (lighter green) into a world (darker stripes) to those outside of Christ.

2. The light in the "unreached" side shows a progression from those who have had the "light" told to them to those "who had not yet heard." 

3. The circle is the world and the EI is clearly visible as a means of getting the "light" to darkness." 

These central themes have been retained, with the added touch of the world map design by Shawn Boadway in 2009. EI continues to carry the light of Jesus to a world darkened by sin. To God be the glory.

*At the beginning of the play and this miniseries, Roy Cohn ( Al Pacino) praises the Boadway musical "La Cage aux Folles." The musical was based on a 1973 French play, a play that was later adapted into La Cage aux Folles (1978) and then remade as The Birdcage (1996). The latter film was also directed by (Mike Nichols) (who co-executive produced and directed this miniseries) and starred (Nathan Lane), who would later go onto play Roy Cohn in a National Theatre production of Angels in America: Part I - Millennium Approaches (2017) and Angels in America: Part 2 - Perestroika.

i think it's legit that vent, the creator of gt does not confirm or deny the claims made in the post and i asked they said the vent could apply to an industry friend of theirs considering they know some people who are/were friends with viv, they just don't know viv themself. they only confirm the part with the blog being on private and it adds up to being zorrick. i found a social media of the creator one of their close bffs did work on big mouth. they did go to play together in novemeber as the possible staff in question posted a pic together seeing a boadway show with well wishes for the dead cousin. more shit adds up. so it's real or someone who plays catch up with these people.

I think I might refrain from answering this. If there is no evidence I won't believe. There are endless lies being spread right now about both parties at the moment. I am regretting posting that vent.

My Beauty and the Beast Spell Canon

Hi if you are asking or not about the two versions of Belle and Prince Adam/The Beast wedding still him and his servants under the spell if it will apply eventually the musical Brodway version and 2017 side effects of the spell that will make the servants totally inanimated objects and the Beast a mindless animal? The answer is no that will never gonna happen in my canon and in each holiday collection most of the situations in the coloring pages will have three different versions each for each version of the servants: Humans, Enchanted Objects, and Boadway Musical Style/Human-Object Hybrids, and two versions of the Beast I really never liked that supposedly canon effect of the spell and really don´t mind and care of it is exciting but unnecessary

“Well Scene” and “The Bargain”/ “Waltz of Treachery,” Broadway, 2001. Nick Wyman as Thénardier, Betsy Joslyn as Mme. Thénardier, Ivan Rutherford as Jean Valjean, Christiana Anbri as Young Cosette.

The uneven camerawork and partially blocked view is especially unfortunate here, as repeatedly we hear the audience laughing at stage business from the Thénardiers that we can’t see. But the sound quality is just fine and we see enough to know that this is a good performance.

Nick and Betsy earn all the laughs they get, with their craftly little gestures to each other, their facades as kind and tender-hearted foster parents, Mme. T’s fake sobbing over Fantine’s death and obvious improvising on “If... she hadn’t... so often been... ill!”, and their cackling and fighting over the money in the end. Of course that’s mostly standard Thénardier business, but they do it well.

Ivan’s warm and dignified Valjean and Christiana’s sweet little voiced Young Cosette are just right too. Valjean and Young Cosette’s moments together are always heartwarming.

Meet Shawn Boadway: “In the early 2000’s, my wife Bridget began working for Emmanuel International. I was still a university student when I began volunteering part-time with EICanada in 2007, helping to create Direct Mail Appeals. I was then hired by Andy Atkins, at the time National and EICanada Director, in 2008 to the full-time position of Promotions Coordinator. My job was to head up the digital media and publications department wherein I ran the website, created posters and brochures, designed direct mail appeals, and helped plan events like the annual banquet.

Fun fact: the current iteration of the EI logo inlaid with the world map was my creation from 16 years ago, in 2009!

I resigned in the Fall of 2009 to pursue a different career but continued to work part-time from home, maintaining and updating the website for the next 3-4 years. The best times spent at EICanada always involved being part of the larger EI family. There were so many wonderful people with whom to share that time of my life and work. The many connections and times shared together are what still stick out as significant memories for me when reflecting on that time of my life.

Running a department, being given the space to learn, create, and lead, and the time spent working with so many great people have all helped to prepare me for the challenges of what has become my current career in leadership and team building.
