my fellow pillar men stans today is kars' birthday!!!! i wanted to think of birthdays/zodiacs for the other pillar men too so here's my take (with dates i picked by vibes lol), along with their moon and rising signs 💕
brief explanation of the big three placements: your sun is the foundation of your personality. moon rules emotion, it's also the inner self or the self in comfort. rising is the outer self, but it's also how your personality is expressed (think of it as root self/inward expression/outward expression!)
cool elemental things to note (that i also based their sun signs on):
kars being a virgo and virgo being an earth sign works with the idea of the pillar men corresponding to the four elements
kars = earth because plants need light, fire and air are obvious, santana = water because with the particular way he manipulates his body he is a liquid lmao
kars (september 5)
virgo sun, capricorn moon, aquarius rising
virgo works for him so well b/c as the mutable earth sign, it's calm and vies for change, virgo is great at taking something and molding it to a particular vision
capricorn moon means he's at ease in his drive and ambition though emotionally can be a bit rigid
aquarius is about thinking outside the box, with large-scale ideas that change the world. kars' whole shtick is that he was daring in his ideas! (aquarius is also very eccentric and kars is weird lol)
esidisi (july 29)
leo sun, cancer moon, virgo rising
leo is flamboyant, noticeable, and has a flair for the dramatic, very loyal, and as a fire sign it's very passionate.
moon rules cancer as it's a highly emotional sign, so you get like emotional x2. cancer can be prickly but can just as easily be soft and esidisi is a bit of a wildcard y'know
HOWEVER, his virgo rising takes those big feelings and larger than life personality and manages it. like, esidisi is still really chill because he knows how to chill himself out.
wamuu (october 15)
libra sun, leo moon, capricorn rising
libra has a strong sense of justice and air signs work in the realm of ideas, wamuu being guided by his ideals of honour. (libras are also good with people and he seems like such a gentleman!!!!)
leo is brave, proud, and competitive, and i think wamuu is most at ease when he's vying to better himself and hone his skills and let out that fire sign passion, and leo as the fixed fire sign works really well b/c it doesn't have the flighty tendencies of the other two, wamuu is ANYTHING but flighty
capricorn rising because not only does he come off as very stable, but i think he likes the structure in diff aspects of his life that capricorn provides
santana (november 6)
scorpio sun, aquarius moon, taurus rising
scorpio is known for being very intense and a bit mysterious, its emotional tendencies as a water sign is turned inwards so scorpios kinda.... smoulder. simmer? brood? all of those.
i think santana is at ease in learning and coming up with new stuff, definitely very thoughtful and that thoughtfulness is apparent if you really look at him! aquarius is also a bit aloof in terms of emotions lol.
taurus has very stable energy. on the outside santana seems immoveable, but taurus is also pretty chill in the sense that it likes to keeps things simple, and i think he doesn't see a need to complicate things. can be a bit blunt but that's ok we love him.

(Diff anon) ...Wasn't the original premise of the show to showcase what kids are actually like when parents aren't around? I don't think people here mind the adults too much, it's the fact that it's one dude sucking up all the attention. (I think another thing I miss were genuine interactions between the kids and the adults. Besides a select few, the adults and the kids are like two different hive-minds. At least with the kids, it switches up its "leader". For the adults, it's primarily Randy)
I think the ‘hivemind’ thing South Park has going on with a certain collective be it the kids or the adults is very inherent to the show’s style of political commentary where of course each group functions as a stand-in for the real life counterparts of a given conflict, and I feel this really goes hand in hand with the adults receiving an increasing amount of screentime compared to the kids in later years, as the series becomes more confident in its involvement with politics which, really wasn’t the case before at a time that in my opinion South Park worked more as a parody of politics, than an active partipant in them.
Because in older episodes you already know, this group of people is gonna come in, and they’re really angry about something and the moral of the day is that they’re all crazy. Regardless of what your opinion on the show’s takes are, the problem is you really, really can’t make a story out of this very limited concept and that’s when the characters come in with their antics and varios pop culture references, and their reactionary approach to the crazy nonsense of their adult counterparts is what gets the plot going.
But then, if later as a writer, you buy into your own hype as a political commentator that means South Park starts directing its resources into crafting a message out of these predictable hiveminds, what’s there to say about this topic and how can we accurately represent it through the town, you start having issues with your ability to craft a character based story that’s more about the comedy from within than it is attempting to have an original spin on current events and I think that’s whats largely been their failure lately.
Suddenly The Children are not their own separate characters, they’re representative of a collective for the sake of delivering the episode’s takeaway from a topic. In the episode Dead Kids, their entire role is to get shot at so we can then pan to the adults and see what measures they’re taking or lack thereof to affront this new school shooting crisis. From the get-go the autonomy the child characters have to  navigate this scenario in their own therms is taken away from them and you have most of their story take place offscreen, because it’s again more convenient for the show’s commentary to explore the adults POV in matters that pertain to the real world.
And because the adults in South Park aren’t really characters all that complex who relate to each other in very distinct ways, and more often than not take whichever stance serves the purpose of the episode, the inevitable result is stories that have little action actually taking place from beginning to end. The magic of having character based stories is you can get someone in the cast to do x, and x leads into b, and then c has to react, etc, to create a naturally progressing plot that accounts for the motives of its cast and thus makes sense in retrospect, with comedic engagement stemming from every little twist and interaction, once this element is removed you will notice that later south park seasons suffer from a chronic case of extremely repetitive gags that strech throughout an episode and are the foundation for most of its jokes, stagnant progression, inconclusive resolutions to the main conflict, etc.

Q&A post with the Mods!!!!
This is going to be a long one oh boy
How strict is the delineation of creative control vis-a-vis characters/plays between the mods? (@pedanticlecturer)
We generally have the plays split up along lines of “what we know”— we have a list at the very beginning of the blog. Sometimes we’ll draw the others’ characters (mostly me drawing some of Star’s…) but even then the final say on characterization is up to the “main” mod for that play — mod aster
what aster said -- mod star
What is your favorite play? What is your favorite character in terms of how they were written in the source material? (@pedanticlecturer)
I think my favorite play overall is Macbeth, just because I like the vibes (and the fact that I too could kill Macbeth), the fact that you don’t say it’s name in theatres, and the fact that it’s a play I did a full read through and analysis of in class. Favorite character? Puck from Midsummer. — mod aster
uhhhh,, hmm. ive always had a soft spot for midsummer since i saw it with aster esp bc of how fun the costumes were. of the comedies it has the largest potential to be the most visually pleasing bc of the concept of fairies,,,and im gay and dramatic so i love that. id die if i got to costume design for midsummer,,,or be in it,,,yeah. fav character. hmm. probably mercutio?? i recently saw a version of romeo and juliet where mercutio was played by a woman and oh my god it was amazing!!! not to mention mercutio’s portrayal in baz luhrmann's INCREDIBLE version of r n j!!! (I based my mercutio design on him) he just spends the entire time making dick jokes. love that. -- mod star
How do you answer asks so fast? I mean it's great but I'm impressed 😂 (Anon)
Personally, it’s a mix of: notifications on, quick drawing speed, and using the blog to avoid my class work — mod aster
aster is fast and (as you can see from all of my answers) im lazey -- mod star
Are there any elements/characters of the plays you're covering that you would have liked to work into this blog's plot, but couldn't due to the constraints of the setting or the synthetic nature of the blog? (@pedanticlecturer)
I wanted to make everyone gay but unfortunately due to plot constraints we have to have some hets but that wont stop me from making it lgbt as possible. -- mod star
I did want to make The Tempest more of a central play, but it just didn’t translate well. Similarly, other supernatural elements like the witches in Macbeth. This isn’t so much a constraint mentioned, but my own time/energy means that I want to show the Macbeth backstory, in a specific format, but I can’t right now— mod aster
Is there a hierarchy of import when it comes to each play's individualized impact on shakespeare high's general arc? If so, what plays are crucial to the foundation of the story? Which ones did you do mostly for shits and giggles? (@pedanticlecturer)
This is phrased like an ACT question and i might not answer it right so sorry in advance but: mod aster and i only selected a few plays for each of us to do given we dont know all of shakespeare’s works, but we tend to put more emphasis on the the more well known. But it also comes down to 1. How much we have plotted out for each play and 2. What the followers ask about most. Our two most popular are hamlet and macbeth bc people are familiar w those but around march caesar always becomes relevant again. I didnt even have designs for some of the characters until someone asked about them. -- mod star
I would say the same as star— it generally comes down to what people ask about. I will say that the overall plot is sort of separated into “has happened” and “is happening”. Like, the human potion of Midsummer, Julius Caesar, and Macbeth are all in the “aftermath” portion, while Twelfth Night, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet, among others, are happening. We’re trying to incorporate as much as we can, and I don’t think any of them were really put in without some thought.— mod aster
What personal significance does shakespeare hold in ur guys' lives? (@pedanticlecturer)
I go to a theater school rn and so ive dealt w shakespeare (although not all of them) it also helps that i was in loves labours lost last year as moth and that i read hamlet and r n j. Theres also a theater in my state that always does One Big Shakespeare per season and they always do them super well!!! My love for shakespeare probably started w seeing midsummer at that theater w mod aster!!! So. Theater kid rights!! -- mod star
To be honest, I got back into Shakespeare Because of the blog. I’ve been friends with some people that got really Pretentious about Shakespeare, and it kinda put me off of it. I did have a book of abridged plays (the plays’ plots written out in prose, basically) that I read as a kid, which is what got me into not only the plots of a lot of the plays, but also the idea of having them illustrated. And, same as star, the theater in state does the One Big Shakespeare— and they tend to do some really cool things with the costumes, setting them in diff time periods. I haven’t been able to see any lately since I’ve moved, but they still slap. — mod aster
🥰😘💙🥰🥰💜💟🥰I 😍💗💚😍😍LOVE🖤🖤 YALL ♥️♥️🧡💛💚💝❣️💕💘💖💗💓💞💝❤️💛💜 okay now i have a question i swear— how long have the two of you been doing art??? and what were your first shakespeare plays??? (@hellaghosts)
Uhh i started drawing when i was like idk 12 and i have the giant boxes of sketchbooks to prove it!!! I moved to digital art at abt 14-15 but mostly stayed traditional until this yr when i got a Neat New Tablet so some of my sketchbooks are sitting abandoned rip. My first shakespeare was either romeo and juliet or midsummer nights dream and i love both of them v much!!! I have a very old piece of art that i did for r n j for my freshman class assignment on it and it hasnt aged well alsdjfjafd circa 2016 i think??? -- mod star
Tumblr media
Oh man. I started drawing when I was about 10, but it was Bad. I don’t think I got much into drawing again until I was about 14? Sometime around the end of middle school/beginning of high school. I would say I started getting into drawing as more than doodling/coloring edits sometime around 2015-16? I would draw on my iPad with my finger, then I got a tablet for my computer, and now I pretty much stick to my iPad with an Apple Pencil. My first Shakespeare play was….. uh…… probably Midsummer???? I have No idea. We would go to plays when I was little, so I honestly don’t remember if I saw others before. It may have been Romeo and Juliet— I had that book where it was the original and the “modernized” with the little dog that explained things— which, if you know it makes sense, but if you don’t is probably a bonkers answer. — mod aster
Do you think this blog has like? An overarching thesis (be it b/c intentionally or simply b/c ur own take on the world has bled thru to the point where u believe it’s central to the piece at this point)? (@pedanticlecturer)
Not gonna lie, I had to read that like three times AND dm you to figure out what you were asking from us and all I have is “be gay, respect women, write your own happy endings”. — mod aster
This blog started with an ides of march shitpost and you think we have enough brain energy to write a whole thesis? I projected feelings of found family onto my half of the blog but idk if that counts. Be gay do crime 420 69 -- mod star
What’s the nature/rough dynamic of ur relationship? How do y’all know each other? (@pedanticlecturer)
Met mod aster when i was like 4 and even tho we didnt live close we became like, best friends although the Best part didnt start until we were like 13-ish and eventually we talked like non stop (about anime and homestuck. Yknow. 13 year old kid things) and we didnt see each other a lot bc of Distance and now its even worse bc aster is in colleg.,e but we consider each other siblings regardless of family bc we’re adopted into our own respective families so that bled over into our friendship and it would feel weird calling him anything other than my brother now. We’ve seen each other at our best and worst and if you really want a good insight on what we’re like as siblings watch griffin and justin mcelroy’s overview video of catlateral damage wherein i am griffin and he is the long suffering justin. -- mod star
Star is basically my long distance sibling and functionally the only cousin I recognize bc like their parents are basically an aunt and uncle and like our dads look enough alike that we’ve both accidentally gotten the wrong dad for a hug or similar so like. Anyways yeah Star is the Griffin to my Justin, complete with our absent middle brother who we love dearly— mod aster
Dubiously relevant q but what kind of music do y’all listen to when u do art (if that is indeed a habit either of u partake in) (@pedanticlecturer)
It can depend on the piece? I was working on some (unrelated) oc prints that were song-focused, and for those I just listened to said song on loop. Sometimes I have playlists. Sometimes I’ll just be in a Mood and throw a song on loop. But a lot of time for the blog, I’ll listen to The Adventure Zone for the billionth time, because I have Too Much Attention. I’ve also, on request from Star, linked the most recent “loop song”.— mod aster
I tend to obsess over the same like 3 songs every few weeks so those get listened to on repeat but it also depends on the tone of what im drawing or who im drawing i might genre switch bc of that. If im drawing ophelia i stick to lana del rey and if im drawing hamlet its the neighborhood, horatio is sufjan stevens etc. i have categorized,. Most of the characters i draw into different songs/genres/energies of music but not like i ever follow that. Sometimes i just pull up a really long nonsense video and forget to draw. Essentially: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- mod star
How’d y’all come up with ur pseudonyms? (@pedanticlecturer)
I love space so much and my main blog is starryeydsailor space gay rights!! Im also tiny and full of energy and bright so basically i;m star -- mod star
Uhhhh i was like “hey i want to do uhhhhhh flower?” And then I google searched flower names until I found one I liked —- mod aster
How did you end up deciding the rough timeline of events in canon? (@pedanticlecturer)
It’s mostly determined by like. How we choose per story? If that makes sense. Like, we just take story by story, and decide “is it happening, has it happened, and when?” And then we fit them together in relation to each other just by dint of. All existing at once. Like, I knew I wanted Macbeth to be in aftermath, because like, even though there’s no murder, the way I’ve translated it to the AU is still kinda heavy, and it’s something that I don’t know that I could do properly if it were happening right now. Also, it’s more interesting IMO to have them at different times. Tl;dr we wing it per story and slot them together— mod aster (mod star agrees I just can word better, in theory)
If you could tell the story of shakespeare high in a different format than an ask blog, would you? Obviously y'all are making very good use of the format, but would you want to write this as a animated series or like? a comic book? or is the form inseparable from the story? (@pedanticlecturer)
I kinda wanted to do a webcomic or maybe to plot develop through like, animatics but the element of surprise comes from the asks we get and really makes us think so the blog is a good start. We didnt think we’d get this far -- mod star
Pretty much what Star said— there are certain elements where it’d be neat to do as a comic or as an animatic. Like, the fantasy dream is like, an anthology webcomic of each story, where you can like, see other characters in the background and stuff. But to be honest, we develop a lot by what we’re asked— there was a post about developing worldbuilding by being asked questions and then pretending you’ve thought about the answer, and it’s not far off. Personally, it’s hard to just lay out a story, because I have a whole WORLD and what’s relevant? What are people interested in? It’s by getting questions that I can then focus in on an area to develop. And yeah, we Super didn’t think we’d get this far lmao — mod aster
Any headcanons about your characters that you don't think will ever come up on the blog through asks or plot posts? (@pedanticlecturer)
I could make a whole separate post for this!!!!! Mostly its voice headcanons (and by mostly i mean like 1 or 2) or relationship hcs!!!! -- mod star
Honestly same. I don’t think I have voice headcanons for mine, though I bet I could find some. I’ve got a bunch of miscellaneous headcanons that just kinda float around, but like they’re scattered, too numerous for this post, and also not always things I’m sure are canon yet.— mod aster

EXTREME DVAITISM - INSIDE THE DEEPEST DARKEST PITS OF RELIGION.
And just to offer perspective, on deviances, & downgraded levels of debate, the opposite atheistic (non God-believing) philosophy, ie 'DVAITA or DUALISM Philosophy', emanating mostly in West, but scarily enuf being increasingly adopted by East, found itself in, can be understood as, similar to BULB,& only restricting the scope & focal pt of their debate to,otherness of, the bulb & it's effulgence which they can see, with the idea of how that effulgence came to being' (in larger cosmic context)..crux of their accusation on 'Advaitists' being the 'weakness or neediness to unify everything'. This argument seems innocent & harmless if restricted to this much banter, & even psychologically helpful, if used at medium level, to understand mental & emotional c/f human intricacies in cause-process-effect cycle, (as agreed & elucidated on in West by great 'Advaita' Aristotle himself 2300 yrs back), but takes on sinister world-contorting magnitudes, when projected directly onto God, & trying to portray an inherent diff btwn stories around God that one doesn't like or his decisions we don't agree with, as being that of a mfd concept called 'Devil', & going as far as to impose purpose of life itself as being some (pukeworthy) depressing hopeless never-ending God-Devil battle. A dualism concept, shockingly propagated,by major religions such as eg Islam as well, their religious texts at diff popular levels infact replete with references to such sinister 'Shaitan',& his godawful attributes & activities. (P.S: Diff from Hindu myth's 'Devtas'(pro-Vishnu form ie God's heart chakra) & 'Asuras'(pro Shiva-form ie God's forehead chakra),(both these mere interesting ways to bring right-brained & left-brained ppl into spiritual fold),yet both that living in constant recognition of their Supreme God). Thus coming to not just restrict this devilish state of being to glitch(es) in cause-process-effect cycle, but some God-competing mythic force. This glamorous conceptualization infact one o' root causes of religion as a vehicle to proud aggression & annexation & invasion of other nations' rights, & further to barbarism. A seeming harmless play with or inability to accept fundamental assumptive concepts, at early individual level, thru focussedly -ve malevolent thot orgn, propagation & patronage, turning life foundations on their head, & for vast sums of people! All arising outta that initial argument,"You are too weak and/or needy & so desire a unifying end". Now what's 'desire'? What one derives happiness from, right?! So in effect, this major glitch is,'happiness derived from other's sadness, for no known reason'. Also Bliss being 'unexplained happiness',this as 'unexplained gloom',better understood, via our BULB,as 'low-lux phenomena',ie with lower than requd inner illumination to envision. And when such folk propagate entire religions, whichever & how so many ever they be, only God Save Us!

TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN
Characterization
MAJOR CHARACTERS:
Aza
Aza is the sixteen-year-old protagonist of the novel. She has anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also fears bacteria, particularly C. diff. She has to compulsively re-open her finger wound, clean it, and re-bandage it several times per day to keep it clean and free from bacteria. Aza's fear of bacteria sends her into what she terms "thought spirals," in which her fearful thoughts take over her mind and send her into a panic. At these times, she doesn't feel that she's in control of her own thoughts. Aza resists taking her medication regularly, as she doesn’t like the feeling that something else is determining who she is and how she behaves.
Daisy
Daisy is Aza's best friend. She is bubbly, outgoing, and absolutely loves boys and Star Wars. Her life motto is "break hearts, not promises." She writes weekly installments of an ongoing fan fiction and is diligent about replying to reader comments about the story. Daisy is adamant throughout the novel that being poor doesn't make a person noble.
Mom
Mom is Aza's mother. She's a math teacher at Aza's high school. Although Mom does everything she can to help Aza, such as encouraging her to go to therapy and asking her about her sessions, she doesn't truly understand Aza's anxiety. She encourages Aza to "just not think about" whatever triggers her thought spirals and continues to ask Aza about her mental state, even though neither of these things helps Aza at all and sometimes even makes Aza feel worse. Nevertheless, Aza and her mother are very close and have a mutually respectful relationship.
Davis
Davis is Aza's love interest. He comes from a very wealthy family; his father, Davis Pickett Sr., owns the largest engineering firm in Indianapolis. His mother died when he was a child, and he originally met Aza at "sad camp," a camp for children who have lost a parent. He tries to separate himself from other people because he fears people just want to be close to him for his money. He loves astronomy and is blind to the privileges afforded to him because of his wealth
Davis Pickett Sr.
Davis Pickett, Sr. is one of the most successful businessmen in Indianapolis, though he disappears mysteriously right before the start of the novel after the police try to arrest him for fraud and embezzlement. He owns Pickett Engineering, the engineering firm that was commissioned to design a tunnel system to keep the sewers from overflowing into the river when it rains, though his firm never completed the project. Despite his financial success, Mr. Pickett is cold and generally disliked.
Mychal
Mychal is a classmate and friend of Aza and Daisy, and for a short time he's Daisy's boyfriend. He's a talented art student, though he's often very uncertain of himself.
Noah
Noah is Davis' younger brother. At thirteen, he still believes that his dad, Mr. Pickett, loves him, and he becomes depressed and starts acting out after his father disappears.
Dr. Singh
Dr. Singh is Aza's therapist. She uses both cognitive behavioral therapy and medication to help control Aza's anxiety and OCD. She encourages Aza to remind herself that her thoughts are just thoughts and don't actually control her, though Aza struggles greatly to accept this.
Dad
Dad is Aza's father, who died of (presumably) a heart attack while mowing the lawn about eight years prior to the start of the novel. Mom describes her husband as "a worrier" like Aza, and thinks that he would've understood Aza's anxiety better than she does. He enjoyed taking cell phone photos of the sky through tree branches, and Aza keeps his phone in working order so she can revisit the photographs on the phone.
Tua
Tua is Davis Pickett Sr.'s female tuatara, a very primitive species of reptile. She's about 40 years old and is expected to live to at least 150 years old. She's also set to "inherit" Mr. Pickett's fortune upon his death, though the money will actually go to the foundation that cares for her. Davis is scared of Tua and resents her because his father favors her over his own children.
Ayala
Ayala is a character in Daisy's Chewbacca fan fiction stories. She's modeled after Aza and shares her worrying personality. She's a horrible character who ruins everything for the other characters. Ayala serves as a point of contention in Aza and Daisy’s friendship when Aza discovers that Daisy has been writing stories that paint Aza (through the character of Ayala) in an unfavorable light.
MINOR CHARACTERS:
Lyle
Lyle is the groundskeeper at the Pickett estate. He seems to care deeply for the wellbeing of Davis and Noah and is initially very suspicious of Aza and Daisy.
Malik
Malik is the onsite zoologist at the Pickett estate. He cares for Tua, the tuatara that will receive the entirety of the Pickett inheritance upon Davis Pickett Sr.'s death. He's very passionate about his work, which Aza finds refreshing.
Rosa
Rosa is the house manager at the Pickett estate. She acts as a parent of sorts to Noahand Davis, though she leaves at six every night. Even though she seems to genuinely care for Noah and Davis, Davis insists that she's paid to do so.
Holly
Holly is Daisy and Aza's regular server at Applebee's. She doesn't find the girls charming because they habitually use coupons and never tip well.
Simon Morris
Simon Morris is Mr. Pickett's lawyer. He arranges to have a bank accept Daisy and Aza's deposits of the cash they received from Davis.
Elena
Elena is Daisy's eight-year-old sister. Daisy often has to babysit Elena when their parents have to work.

What is Blazer WebAssembly? And what is it used for?
Tumblr media
What is Blazer WebAssembly?
Blazer WebAssembly is another UI innovation from Microsoft, authoritatively delivered with .NET Core 3.1 and getting refreshed in .NET 5. Blazer permits engineers to make single-page applications (SPAs) utilizing C# and .NET using a part-based design. Blazer WebAssembly is a client-side in-program execution of Blazor, which incorporates a .NET runtime carried out in WebAssembly.
With the arrival of Blazer WebAssembly, it is presently conceivable to make customer-side SPAs utilizing C#. Beforehand it has been feasible to make sites utilizing ASP.NET Core MVC and Blazer Server, with every one of these contributions being worker side arrangements. In case you're hoping to extend your range of abilities and use some new Microsoft innovations, or simply have an overall interest in WebAssembly, then, at that point, Blazer WebAssembly is for you. Many web development companies help you in Blazor, Web assembly.
On the off chance that you come from a .NET foundation and need to foster a SPA, then, at that point, Blazer is a positive development. The advantage of composing a Blazer application is that you can utilize a ton of a similar form apparatus, biological systems, and language includes that you as of now use. Assuming you have loads of involvement in .NET, moving to another dialect (like JavaScript or TypeScript) and another structure (like Angular or React) requires a great deal of speculation that probably won't be achievable.
Following this instructional exercise, you will learn how to make a SPA in Blazer WebAssembly. It will cover the nuts and bolts of Blazor and its part-based engineering. The individuals who know about Razor will perceive a portion of the format highlights, and for those that aren't, this instructional exercise will cover highlights like mandates and occasions.
How do we develop web applications today?
For worker side turn of events, we use programming dialects like C#Java, PHP, and so forth. These are the worker-side programming dialects.
For the customer side improvement we use JavaScript systems like Angular, React, Vue and so forth There's no question these JavaScript structures overwhelmed customer side advancement up to this point.
To remain in the business as an engineer and stay cutthroat, it's inescapable that we learn both a worker-side programming language and a customer-side programming language.
In any case, the inquiry is, the reason we should learn and utilize 2 unique arrangements of programming dialects and systems.
Can we use C# both for server-side and client-side advancement?
With Blazer, we would now be able to fabricate intelligent web UIs utilizing C# rather than JavaScript. C# code can be executed both on the worker and in the customer program with many development services in it. This implies existing .Net designers can reuse their c# abilities instead of acquiring new JavaScript systems and their tremendous expectation to learn and adapt.
Programs comprehend and execute just JavaScript. How might we execute the c# code in the consumer program?
Blazer can run C# code straightforwardly in the program, utilizing WebAssembly. It runs in a similar security sandbox as JavaScript systems like Angular, Reacts, Vue, and so on Not only C#Truth be told, we can run any kind of code in the program utilizing WebAssembly.
WebAssembly depends on open web guidelines. So it is a local piece of all advanced programs including versatile programs. This implies for the blazer application to work, there is no compelling reason to introduce any exceptional module like back in the times of silver light and glimmer.
This is additionally called the customer side facilitating model and in this model, the application runs straightforwardly in the program on WebAssembly. Thus, all the application requires i.e the arranged application code itself, its conditions, and the .NET runtime are downloaded to the program. We will see this in real life in our forthcoming videos. The worker-side programming dialects.
For the customer side advancement we use JavaScript structures like Angular, React, Vue and so on There's no question these JavaScript structures ruled customer side improvement up to this point.
However, the inquiry is the reason we should learn and utilize 2 unique arrangements of programming dialects and structures.
All things considered, we can and that is by and large why we use Blazer. With Blazer, we would now be able to fabricate intuitive web UIs utilizing C# rather than JavaScript. This implies existing .Net engineers can reuse their c# abilities instead of acquiring new JavaScript structures and their immense expectation to absorb information.
This is additionally called the worker facilitating model and in this model, the application is executed on the worker from inside an ASP.NET Core application.
At the point when an occasion happens on the customer, for example, a catch click, for instance, the data about the occasion is shipped off the worker over the SignalR association.
The whole HTML isn't sent back again to the customer, it's just the diff that is shipped off the customer over the setup SignalR association. The program then, at that point refreshes the UI. Blazer accepts the single page application engineering which reworks a similar page powerfully in light of the client activity. Since just the diff is applied to refresh the UI, the application feels quicker and more receptive to the client.
We utilize the Blazer Server App layout, to make a Blazer application with the worker facilitating model. We will make a blazer application with both the facilitating models and talk about the upsides and downsides exhaustively in our impending recordings.
What is Blazer Web assembly Used for?
Indeed, since, supposing that we use Blazer, we can run our application in any program, including portable ones, because WebAssembly is important for all significant programs. We are at this point not reliant upon modules like we were some time ago with Flash and Silverlight. Also, we use Blazor because it permits us to reuse our C# abilities.
C# is an incredible advancement language and specifically which implies we can get the mistake at assemble time rather than runtime. Blazer is only a structure that suddenly spikes in demand for the .NET runtime, so we can utilize any library that we need to use, as long as it is viable with .NET Standard.
This implies that we can utilize our own libraries and furthermore practically all open NuGet bundles
There are several in number reasons, which show why we should utilize Blazer
WebAssembly is upheld by all significant programs
Use C# for intuitive web applications
Reuse existing libraries
Execution is close to local
Tooling and troubleshooting
You can check and pick the apparatus according to your accommodation. The following are alternatives, to begin with, Blazer.
Blazer WebAssembly runs on the customer in the program. It downloads all that it requires to the program including HTML, CSS, perhaps some JavaScript, and conceivably pictures. It likewise downloads the congregations that make up the application, and it even downloads the total .NET runtime that is changed over into WebAssembly bytecode.
The entirety of this runs totally on WebAssembly, which is a piece of all significant internet browsers, including portable programs. This kind of Blazor application needn't bother with an association with a worker. It simply needs to stack into the program, and that is it.
A Blazer WebAssembly application comprises static records, so you needn't bother with an undeniable worker to get this to the program. You could have the static records on a substance conveyance organization, or CDN, which is somewhat modest and is internationally performant. You can likewise have it on a worker in the cloud, in your own server farm, or elsewhere.
Benefits
Close Native Performance, running your application on web assembly is quick.
The application can work totally disconnected.
No Server is Needed, you don't need to keep up with the worker and keep the design basic. it requires asset handling at customer gadget
No Plugin is required, WebAssembly is a local piece of every significant program. it takes all static documents into the program
Run in every Modern Browser
Disadvantages
Limited to capabilities of the program. It downloads everything into the program including .NET runtime.
The program accomplishes basically everything.
More to download plan to longer load time.
Mystery or Key needs an association with API, it needs to download at the client-side and there is an approach to encode which isn't protected.
Required WebAssembly, time your application running to the old program which doesn't have web assembly and application won't work all things considered.
Blazer Server is a worker-side Blazor application. The application runs inside an ASP.NET site that suddenly spikes in demand for the .NET runtime. This site then, at that point serves the Blazer site and loads Blazor through a WebSocket association that it utilizes through SignalR. Utilizing this, UI refreshes are spilled from the worker continuously. This sounds confusing, yet you don't need to do anything exceptional to make this work. This all emerges from the case.
