....concert was cancelled. and only that one location all the others are still happening
booked a hotel and got the concert ticket aghhhh
#or maybe they just havent cancelled the others yet? i dont know why they would only cancel one location#maybe didnt sell enough tickets? but its only in like 3 weeks. it says nothing about reschedule or whatever yet#it would be nice to know why#this is very frustrating ngl there was a lot of stress involved in deciding to go and booking#the concert was the cheapest part too so idk if i should just still go on a city trip#or just cancel the entire thing idk i was excited for this#and its that & the money but Also like i really wanted to see them so thats also upsetting & theres no other close locations theyre playing#and who knows maybe theyre gonna cancel others too

Boyfriend thing: Dick Grayson x reader
AKA: the wealth gap XD
***
When she started dating Dick, he quickly learned that spoiling her by taking to the best restaurants and fancy places was a no go.
It was heartbreaking, seeing her get self-conscious as the fake belief of not being good enough and not belonging in such premises haunted her mind.
Y/N would simply crouch in her chair, doing her best to shrink or better yet - to disappear so that no one would give her any look, believing she was Dick's dependent, or maybe even --.
Well the rest of that thought was getting blocked all the time. Nonetheless it was clear as day that she was uncomfortable just from staring at the prices on the menu or summary of the purchase of tickets for a concert or other event.
So having her best interest in mind, and driven solely by feelings for her, Dick slowly started picking four stars places instead of five, taking her to vacation to the places off the top5 destination list and purchasing second raw festival entries instead of first.
In his own opinion this was a bit downgrading and almost lower class, but he could suffer a little less luxury for her.
In her opinion it was all too much. Why was he spending all that on her? She was not worth it and it was all redundant and unnecessary and not what she was used to, being raised with four older siblings in a little house, learnt to watch every little expense. Definitely not having enough to order lobster for dinner or fly to Paris just to watch the sunset from the Eiffel Tower.
So one day, sitting in the little cafe where the cheapest beverage (water) was 20 $ she decided to speak up.
"Dick..." the resolve to clear the situation died on her tongue.
"Yeah? What's up Y/N?" Dick grinned, raising head from his creme brulee to meet her eyes. "Hey... hey, what's wrong?" the look on her face alarmed him immediately. "Aren’t you enjoying your dessert?"
"I am. I am, it's delicious! I just think that maybe...." whatever she thought was spoken up incoherently and with a heavy blush on her cheeks.
"Hm? Care to repeat that last part? I didn;t quite get it."
"I-think-I-should-pay-for-half-the-price-for-our-food." she said again on one exhale and with even more red face.
Dick almost choked on his food, starting to cough like he was dying on the spot, his mind spiralling.
"P-pay in half?" he stuttered as if those words were bringing him physical pain. "What do you mean pay in half?! Y/N?"
"It's a normal thing to do--"
"No?" he looked at her with terror and incredulity.
"Look, you cannot just--"
"I can and I will." he quickly snatched her bag from within her reach so she wouldn;t even get a glimpse of the idea to reach for her purse.
"Come on, please. This is not right. I got my own mon--"
Now he was sure he was getting into a cardiac attack. Was she suggesting that she used her money to use on the attraction he was obligated to provide as her boyfriend?
"Y/N... honey, look at me..." he grabbed her hand above the table, interlacing their fingers, waiting patiently for her to meet his gaze. "Who hurt you....?" His tone was soft and sweet upon realising that if she's acting like this, there must have been something in her past. "Who made you believe that--?"
"I feel like I owe you and--"
"O-owe me....?" holy shit, now he was for sure dead, cause her words were like a ton of bricks thrown on him. "For what? For loving you? For wanting to give you all the best? For making sure that all the things we do make you smile?"
"I'm not used to--" her gaze travelled lower, glued to the ground "I always thought-- I mean, other guys--"
"If they made you believe you owe them for things, they weren;t even worthy of that name." Dick scoffed, getting angry at whoever mistreated her. Making a silent promise to himself to track all those assholes down, one way or another. "Look. Normal thing is that a man provides for the woman he loves. And -" he added quickly, sensing she was about to chime in, "And before you start talking about equality I assure you, I am all up for it. But I need to pamper you ok? It;s a must, cause I might die if I don;t." he teased a little.
"You're such a drama queen" she chuckled
"Made you laugh though." he leaned over the table and kissed her cheek "but seriously, Y/N, you give me something that money can never buy - love, happiness... And I suppose that this-" he gestured over the table "-is a poor attempt to show you how much I love you too."
"But I know it."
"I know you do, but what’s worth the money if you have no one to share it with? So, please, on all that's holy, do not ever feel guilty for helping me spend this fortune in the best possible way."
"Which is?"
"Making memories with you." he smiled genuinely, his heart melting upon seeing the real happiness reflected in her eyes at the words. "So? What’s it gonna be? You'll let me do the boyfriend thing or should we call for an ambulance already?"
"You know how much I hate hospitals." Y/N chuckled rolling her eyes playfully "And that is my only reason for letting you do your boyfriend thing. "Because I'd hate to be the lovesick girl waiting in the corridor while her man is fighting for life."
"Works for me." Dick grinned "Now shall we order those world famous gelatos they have here...?"

The story of the first Led Zeppelin concert recording

Led zeppelin is a diamond of Rock music- the purest water
The first ("known to science") Led Zeppelin concert recording appeared back in the period when not everyone could even immediately remember their name, and the team's debut record has not yet been released. On December 30, 1968, Led Zeppelin opened for the Americans from New York, Vanilla Fudge, who were at the peak of their popularity that year.
The venue was Gonzaga University in the American city of Spokane (Washington State), it is, remarkably, considered Catholic, and named after a saint named Aloysius Gonzaga of the Jesuit Order, the patron saint of youth and students. If they only knew what Led Zeppelin's lyrics might be about! A concert was held in one of the buildings on campus, to be precise, in the John F. Kennedy Pavilion (built in 1965). By the way, it was cold sub-zero weather outside.
This is what John F. looks like. The Kennedy Pavilion is equipped.

And so inside in 1965.

The cheapest concert ticket cost three dollars (now, and the most expensive - five
The setlist of the performance was as follows:
"Train Kept A Rollin'"
"I Can't Quit You"
"As Long As I Have You"
"Dazed And Confused"
"White Summer"
"How Many More Times"
"Pat's Delight"
As you can see, of the seven tracks, only three will be released on the debut album in just two weeks. Such a number of "non-album" tracks speaks to the level of musicians who enjoyed live performances rather than playing a standard set of songs.
The concert was recorded by the simplest amateur method on a cassette, so the recording quality is far from ideal, and sometimes you can even hear a hell of a mess.
youtube
A very funny story is also connected with this concert - Led Zeppelin was named Len Zefflin in an advertisement. One can only guess why the band's name has been distorted so much.

That's how you imagine American students waking up with a hangover and asking,
"Well, how was Len Zefflin yesterday?"

All right. I gave in. I'm an idiot.
I got a ticket for the pit at the Baltimore ritual on 7/9.
Does anybody know how early I should try to show up for this thing? Is anybody else going who may want to meet up? I expect I'll be flying in since that's both the quickest and cheapest way to get there from where I am.
I've never done this sort of thing at a concert before and obviously the goal is to get as close to the stage as possible. I would appreciate hearing from anybody who actually knows how stuff works and can offer advice. I'm mad nervous but I would never have forgiven myself if I didn't find a way to be up front somehow. I can't miss seeing V that way.

Band AU! Guitarist! Echo x reader? 🥹
Just some bold flirting by the reader and fluff if that's okay
Have a great day!
You got it!
Flattery
Pairings: Guitarist! Echo x gn reader
Summary: you and your friends get some backstage passes to meet your favorite band The Bad Batch, the backup guitarist Echo has always had your attention, so you get a little bold. And he agrees on a date.
Warnings: flirting, bold reader, shy ish Echo, blurb
Word count: 1,430
Ever since you discovered this one band you had made it your personal mission to save enough money to get you and your friend backstage passes to meet them. You had seen a few of their live shows before but had never met them in person, you could only afford the nosebleeds or the top rows since they were typically the cheapest.
But now you finally bought tickets for the area closest to the stage, as well as backstage passes for you, and your best friend. They liked this band almost as much as you did, and had some of their merch, and were happy to tag along with you if it meant they could have some autographs.
But you had a bigger goal than just simple autographs.
You and your friend arrived at the concert stadium just as the opening band finished their last song, and The Bad Batch started setting up. You had gotten drinks for yourself and your friend, and were talking whilst drinking and waiting at the place closest to the stage. There were still people milling about on the ground floor, talking and vibing to the radio music that played while they set up.
“Y/n! one of them is looking at us-” Your friend squealed, and you raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure it's not just your imagination?” You joked, laughing as she shoved you playfully. “I’m serious! it's the one with the bionic hand.” She giggled, and your attention turned to the stage, where indeed the backup guitarist was glancing at you on occasion, eyes widening when you met his gaze with your own.
You grinned, and winked before looking away. “Oh he’s cute.” you giggled, your friend grinning. “You should try and land a date with him! He's looking at you like you're a piece of candy.” she chuckled, and you grinned wider. “We’ll see what happens.”
The Bad Batch ended up playing a variety of songs, ranging from popular to unpopular hidden gems that you would definitely be adding to your playlist, as well as some songs you weren't a huge fan of, and then some new releases towards the end. After they played, you cashed in your backstage tickets with the bouncer who led you to where The Bad Batch was resting, and doing autographs for others who got backstage passes.
Your friend let out a soft squeal, shaking her hands in excitement as she whispered in your ear. “They’re all so hot up close.” She whispered, and you let out a snort, covering your mouth with your hand. “Shut up- crazy girl.” You replied, walking forward once the people in front of you were done. You pushed your friend forward, grinning like the devil when she glared back at you before smiling at each of the band members.
You studied the room as she talked with them, your eyes landing on one of the guitars. You hummed, and took a step closer, admiring the details and paint job of said guitar. “You like the work?” A voice spoke up, pulling you out of your daydream. You looked up, seeing the man from earlier, Echo if your memory served you correctly.
You smiled, and nodded. “I think I had a similar model a few years ago, well my dad did, and then he sold it. It’s a beautiful instrument… I like the colors you chose.” You replied softly, turning to face him fully.
“that’s nice to hear, we normally get compliments on our looks, and not really our instruments.” he expressed and you frowned. “I mean- you are good looking but that's not what I care for when I listen to bands like yours. The music is what I love, and if the people playing and singing it are good looking? It's just a bonus. But again- talent is the most attractive thing about a person, in my opinion.” You chuckled, noticing the smile on Echo’s face.
“Well- that uh- that's really nice.” He replied, rubbing the back of his head. “did you want an autograph or something?” He then asked, but you shook your head. “No… but i will take your phone number, and take you on a date.” You flirted, winking at him like you did when he stared at you on stage. You watched as his face lit up red, but he didn’t reject your idea, and instead grabbed a piece of paper, scribbling his personal number on it before handing it to you.
That was easy.
“What’s the catch?” You asked him, tucking the piece of paper in your pocket, now resting your hands on your hips as you looked at him. “No catch… you seem like an interesting person, and you're gorgeous… so I'd like to know more about you, and your personality.” He explained, and you hummed, nudging him with your elbow. “sure, my ‘personality’” You chuckled, and again his face lit up red.
“I mean it!” he exclaimed, and you smiled. “I know I'm just teasing you, cutie.” You mused, and looked over at your friend whose face was beet red, and was probably on the urge of passing out as she spoke to Crosshair and Hunter, the lead guitarist and lead singer. “Shit- she's gonna pass out.” You grumbled, rushing away from Echo and towards your friend as she started wobbling back and forth before falling into your arms.
“whoop! there we go girl, settle.” You huffed, lifting her small frame up and over your shoulder with ease, using your arm to block any creeps from looking up her short skirt. “Well thank you for the wonderful backstage experience, love your music but i gotta get this girl in an ice bath.” You joked, looking over at Echo.
“I’ll call you sweetheart.” You stated, waving goodbye as the bouncer led you back out to the main concert hall. You brought your friend back to your shared apartment, and put her in her bed so she was comfortable when she woke up again, and in the meantime you made yourself a tea in the kitchen, almost forgetting about the paper in your pocket until it had fallen out.
You grabbed it, grinning as you sat down at the table in the kitchen area, putting the phone number in your contacts, opening up a new message chat.
–Y/n: ‘hey cutie <3’
was the first message you sent, followed by a keyboard typed heart after the word cutie. You then set your phone down, and just enjoyed your tea, not expecting a response right away, which had you excited.
-Echo The Cutie: ‘Hey, is your friend doing okay?’
was the reply from Echo, you chuckled, and quickly typed back.
–Y/n: ‘yeah she’ll be fine, resting in bed. What are you up to? still taking autographs?’
-Echo the cutie: ‘That's good, and no, I'm home now for the rest of the night…what about you?’
–Y/n: ‘sipping on some tea, relaxing… are you free tomorrow?’
-Echo the cutie: ‘yeah i'm free’
–Y/n: ‘good, meet me outside this place called mimi’s cafe at noon, it's a secluded place, not a lot of visitors. perfect for our first date <3’
A giggle left your lips, and you can feel the heart start to creep up on your face as you and Echo continued to text back and forth, he had agreed to the date, but even after that the conversation just kept flowing, and you flirted back and forth with each other until it was time to say goodnight.
The next day you had met up with him at the cafe you mentioned, and the date went smoothly. You and Echo had such an amazing conversation about music, and other hobbies and aspects of your life. He felt like he could be a normal person around you.
And you felt like you may have just found your forever person with the amount of things you had in common with him.
the date had led to many others, whenever he was in your city anyway. And when he was on tour he'd always call you every day, before and after his show’s, and when he couldn’t call you he was texting.
A relationship had bloomed in the months you had texted, and called and dated, and you even started to get to know his brothers too, and even got your friend one of their numbers, Crosshair you think his name was. She seemed happy, so you were happy too.
Being so bold and asking for Echo’s number was probably the best decision you had ever made.

I dont think most people realize how hard it is for some to attend concerts. Or more like, how expensive. Especially for those who live far away from big cities, in countryside.
Lets say the gig is in your country. (Because if we talk about going to concert in another country, thats even more expensive and difficult) So you bought the concert ticket. 150 bucks. Ok. But you must travel by bus or train for hours. And the longer train route, the more the ticket costs. Another cca 100 bucks. (And Im being generous here and use numbers from my, pretty cheap country)
Now. The concerts end usually around 10. Some at 11 if its several acts and headliner starts at 9. You barely have a bus or train back to your town that late at night (if I do I dont take it because I might end up raped or mugged and who will they blame it on? Me,the victim, cos "why was I travelling by train that late at night". Cos - THATS LITERALY WHAT THAT TRAIN IS FOR!!!)
So I have to spend the night at some hotel. I again use numbers from where I live, the cheapest hotel is like 100 bucks per night - there are cheaper options, yes, but you will probably have to walk 3 floors without elevator just to get to the bathroom (happened to me).
Then bus or train back home another day. Thats around 450 bucks just for one concert and I used the lowest numbers I had at hand, again, not even counting when the concert is in different country because the artist doesnt know yours exist.
My point is, my blood boils when I see someone bragging about how they saw artist 40 times then whine are gonna miss one concert due to something.
End of rant.

How Scammers Are Stealing Your Money on Cash App, Zelle, and Other Payment Platforms
-An original article by Mycolancer
Scammers are out here robbing people left and right, and it’s getting ridiculous. These con artists are using Cash App, Zelle, and similar platforms to trick you into sending money with ZERO intention of ever delivering what they promised. Here’s how they pull it off and why you should be furious. 🤬
The Scams You Need to Watch Out For:
1. Fake Sellers: They act like they’ve got the hottest items—new gadgets, concert tickets, special treats, whatever you’re looking for. The second you send them the cash, poof, they disappear. No product, no refund, no nothing. They’ll bait you with free delivery! 🚚 🛑
2. Posing as Friends or Family: Ever get a message from a friend or family member asking for money? Yeah, don’t trust that right away. These scammers hack into accounts and pretend to be people you know, getting you to send money in a panic, only for you to realize it wasn’t them. 👀
3. Fake Customer Support: This one is just evil. They pretend to be customer service for Cash App or Zelle, offering to “help” you with a refund or some issue. Next thing you know, they’ve tricked you into sending them money instead of fixing anything. 😒
The Red Flags You Shouldn’t Ignore:
• Rushing You: If someone is pressuring you to send money fast, that’s a big sign it’s a scam. They thrive on making you act before you think. 🤔
• Asking for Payment on Peer-to-Peer Apps. Cash in person is best when there’s so many scams out there! Make sure you know they have a good reputation in the community. ‼️
How to Not Get Screwed Over:
• Send Money Only to People You Know: If you don’t know them personally, don’t trust them. Period. Ask people you trust about them! 🥰
• Double-Check Everything: Think you’re sending money to a friend? Call them first to be sure. You’d rather be safe than sorry. 🤓
• Too Good to Be True? IT IS: Those deals that seem like a steal? Yeah, they’re the ones stealing from you. Maybe sourcing cheapest isn’t best…. 🤔🤔🤔
‼️ Don’t let these scammers get away with it. Be smart, be cautious, and don’t trust anyone who’s too pushy or demands payment for certain goodies up front!! Once you send that money, there’s usually no getting it back!! ‼️
Mush love and be safe!

'saying music based subculture is about music contributes to its commercialization' is sure a take when you are talking about PUNK of all things and if you knew anything about the scene or been to a concert for once you'd know they despise selling out enough to make their own diy labels and distros, organize gigs in squats with tickets charging as little as possible - all the cheapest concert/fests ive been to were punk ones, hell ive been to punk fests where they announced people who dont have enough for tickets contact them to get it for free and they weren't even really checking for wrostbands at entrance either. Why does caring about music equal commercialization? Not all music scenes operate like pop music industry does lol

« Looks like it´ll be another 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵 summer! «
The tour to the US is in 6 months, people may buy their ticket later. Just wait 🤷♀️
That's unlikely... 🤷🏼♀️
It sure didn't happen the last time!
With Mars there are two kinds of buyers:
1. Eches who set their alarms even if the tickets go on sale at 3 am just so they can secure their tix and not miss out in case they are sold out (which has happened precisely NEVER 😂).
2. Randoms who show up on the day of the show because either A) they get extremely cheap (or even free) tixs via local radio stations...

... or B) they get lured down to the venue for street food with a side of a concert ticket. 🌮🎟

OH BUT WAIT!!! IT GETS EVEN BETTER!!! ⚠️
Even after all this if the venue still looks empty and depressing, they start moving people from the cheapest nose-bleed seats in the back aaaall the way to the front so it'll look fuller, and badabing badaboom the freebie ticketers will end up shoulder to shoulder at the front of (or even on!!!) the stage with the eches who paid $70-80 (or even full VIP prices) for their tix at 3 am on the day they went on sale 6 months earlier. 🤦🏼♀️
That was the sad reality of the summer of 2018, and seeing as Mars is even more irrevevant now than it was then, AND the fact that Mars had a small army of other bands on the same bill (one of them being Walk the Moon who were pretty popular at that time!) and they still failed to bring in the numbers...
I cannot see this tour going any differently. 🤷🏼♀️

We'll see if this gets me in trouble....
So, I was in Las Vegas for the Ed Sheeran show that got canceled. I have a few points I want to make here.
Number One: safety is the priority
Number Two: Allegiant Stadium had poor communication with the security and staff.
Number One: Safety is the Priority
I was able to get a sneak peak of the stage through the curtains. The towers that moved were at least 200 feet tall by my guess. These towers were holding up all of the rigging for lights, speakers, AND the JUMBOTRONS. Had the team went ahead with the performance and the towers gave out and fell, it would most likely have killed people. Here are some pictures that I got of the stage before staff closed the curtains:

The guitar pic is the giant screens to show the performers to the whole stadium. There is a staff member in an orange shirt below it for scale. That screen is massive, the towers went above this. For a good length of space. And if the towers fell, it wouldn't have just affected the floor, the seats in the lower bowl would have been at risk as well. If a tower fell, speakers, the whole entire tower, lights, and the jumbrotrons would most likely go down with it. That would have killed dozens of people if not more. The team prioritized safety which I appreciate, especially because my ticket was a floor ticket. This is costing so much money for everyone but they are willing to take that loss so people stay safe and they tried to fix the problem so strongly. And I for one would prefer to leave and not have a concert than walk out of there with severe injuries or dead.
Number Two: Allegiant Stadium had poor communication with the security and staff.
I just want to preface this with this was my experience and the experience of 7 other people with me in various parts of the stadium and outside. It may not be the same for everyone else. My group was waiting outside and my mom overheated and had to be taken to the medic space. From what we talked about with event staff, no one working knew why the gates weren't being opened and no one received an update. When my group saw the announcement of the door opening being delayed until 5:30, we were next to security and they stopped and asked "wait, what?" Multiple event staff did not know. The staff outside tried their best to work with what they had, but pretty much had no contact with the stadium or Ed's team. Any announcements that happened came from Ed's team via Instagram, nothing from the stadium, who should be communicating with their employees. Let me repeat this, the staff did not know because the stadium management did not notify them. My mom's experience was the same, the person that was helping her only had 5 bottles of water to give out then was contacting supervisors to get cups for the water jugs since they weren't available. When the post went live on Ed's page, people started commenting about what the conditions were like outside and they finally let people in. At this point, people are all swarming to get water, which was definitely over price ($7 for the cheapest bottle), my word. People are getting food, drinks, and merch because there was the assumption that even if there was a delay, people thought the show was still going to continue. I think at this point the stadium and Ed's team were working on a solution which was rescheduling the concert. The announcement came on Instagram from Ed's team. This was not largely announced, the staff doing food, merch, security, etc did not know about the show being canceled. My group was in two different spots in the stadium and our groups were the ones that told staff and security that the show was canceled. It wasn't until about 10 minutes after the announcement that the stadium shared the announcement on their social media and I think another 10 minutes for it to go on the TV screens in the stadium. The staff was still not told, my family told the security by them, my dad announced it to the crowd in his area after he asked the security guard if he knew, which he did not know about the cancelation. The stadium did not tell their staff that it was canceled. Security told each other about what was happening after the crowd told them about the announcements. And while the announcement was on the stadium's social media, it took over an hour, I believe closer to two to put the announcement on their official website.
I say all of this to say, it is okay to be upset about the circumstances, I am too because I drove 9 hours, took time off of work, paid for expenses. But, this decision was not made lightly. It was what they had to do. It was a situation that would be dangerous, even if it doesn't sound like the towers shifting would be a big deal, it is. So I just want you to consider that there was a lot more going on. Please don't let the concert being canceled take away from the enjoyment you get out of Ed's music. It wasn't their fault. And a lot of the other issues, like the gates and concessions were the stadium's area, not Ed's. It was a mess, it was a disaster, and it is devastating for those who went through a lot to get there. I can empathize with that, I traveled far too. But Ed's team made the right call. Even when it was the hard choice and I admire that. Ed Sheeran, I'm a bigger fan now than before because you made the right call even when it cost you a lot.

Hi, I'll probably use codes for Munich or Hamburg only, so I'd like to know where would I probably find the cheapest seats/nosebleeds and covered roof in both stadiums? Thank you.
Munich: the cheapest tickets will probably be in section U2 & T1 - at least that was the case for my Harry concert. only section U2 is covered by a roof though!
Hamburg: everything except the floor is covered by a roof! I don't know where the cheapest seats will be but I assume it'll be the ones way up at the top. maybe someone who has been to the stadium before could reply to this & help u out!

Seriously have to keep myself from crashing out now because I’ve already heard from people who had registered for a PRE-pre-sale and not getting tickets because so many tried at the same time there were technical issues and people who thought they got tickets and already had paid then got refunded hours later and then stood there empty handed after all like I know there’s a big chance that even if I had heard about this concert earlier I wouldn’t have gotten cheapest category tickets like I would’ve needed because I can’t afford just any random category price class but my mom and brother also like Metallica and the show will be on a Saturday anyway so I think there’s a good chance I could convince them to public transit our way out to the stadium that evening and just listen from the outside tbh I’m sure many people will do the same so you could still catch a vibe
#I just hope my CFS lets me#Everything sold out immediately of course and I just won’t take the risk to get scammed and pay EVEN MORE than they were to begin with

Rika had been talking about Pierce The Veil for months. No.. years. Every car ride? PTV. Every lazy afternoon? PTV. Every romantic moment? Somehow…PTV. And Sora, bless his heart, tried to appreciate her enthusiasm, but screaming post-hardcore wasn’t exactly his thing.
But he loved Rika, and when he heard the band was coming to town, he knew what he had to do. He figured he’d get them in no time and surprise Rika with them.
Easy, right? Wrong. They were expensive. Like, Keyblade Master salary expensive. And Sora? He was just a broke teenager with a love for adventure and a wallet full of lint.
Okay so, if no munny then... Get Creative. He tried everything. Odd jobs around town? Check. Selling old manga and magazines he had? Check. Trying to convince Riku to “invest in true love” and loan him munny? Big no.
By the time the concert rolled around closer, tickets had sold out and fast, And Sora? Well, Sora had exactly…not enough to buy tickets in time. Not even the cheapest nosebleed seats. He felt awful..
Months later, on the night of the concert, he picked Rika up, holding a picnic basket and looking suspiciously not like someone who had two golden tickets to her dream concert.
“Uh…Sora?” she asked, raising a brow.
“Trust me,” he grinned, grabbing her hand.
He led her to a grassy hill just outside the open stadium. They couldn’t see the band, but they could hear the music perfectly. The distant stage lights painted the night sky in streaks of purple and blue. He had set up a little blanket, snacks, and even some fairy lights he borrowed from Kairi.
Rika blinked. “You…did this?”
“Yeah,” Sora said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I, uh, couldn’t afford tickets. But I still wanted to do something special for you. I know how much you love the band.. I-Im Sorry..”
For a moment, Rika just stared at him. The concert’s opening song blared through the air, but all she could hear was her own heart melting.
“You absolute dork,” she laughed, tackling him into a hug. “This is better than going to the concert.”
Sora blinked. “Wait, really?”
“Yeah,” she smiled, resting her forehead against his. “Crowds suck anyway. And now I get a little private little vip spot.. listening to the band, eating snacks.. no shoving or pushing.. it’s perfect.”
Sora beamed, relieved beyond belief. They spent the rest of the night swaying to the music, sharing snacks, and laughing under the stars.
And by the end of it, Rika didn’t just love Pierce The Veil… she loved him even more.

listen i’m really not a concert girly but recently a friend asked if id want to go see this indie folk band with her. i listened to their music and liked it so i said “sure yeah! as long as tickets aren’t too expensive”. i just looked at the prices and the cheapest GA tickets would be over $300 for 2 after service fees, delivery (even tho it’s an eticket?????) and taxes. i paid like $40 to see ed sheeran in 2012/2013 and $100 to see 1d in 2013. wtf is happening.
girl WHO is the indie folk band? but no i agree concert prices are insane now and have been for quite some time. ticketmaster and live nation are the devil

How does outdoor LED screens turn "crowded" into "immersed carnival"
"Last summer, I waited for the red light at the intersection of Shibuya, Tokyo. When I looked up, I saw the LED screens in the entire building playing virtual waves, accompanied by sound effects, and I felt like I was going to be flooded in the next second." - This is not a science fiction movie, but an outdoor LED screen is redefining our experience of participating in large-scale events.
These "giant building blocks that can shine" have long been no longer cold machines for broadcasting advertisements in the mall. They are like a group of visual magicians who are good at "mind reading". They are using these five methods to make all those standing in squares, stadiums, and music festivals willing to give up their attention. Introduce you to concert LED screen: price, features, functions and cases.
The "top brand of atmosphere" that lasts more than fireworks
At the New Year's Eve scene at 3 a.m., fireworks are fleeting, but LED screens can continue to create romance. A music festival uses a 270-degree surround screen to create a special effect of "Galaxy Falling". Fans reach out to catch the stars falling on the screen. This "interactive atmosphere" allows the memory of the event to last longer. After all, humans’ instinct for chasing dynamic light and shadow has been engraved in DNA when they dance around a bonfire.
The traffic magnet that makes passersby also become "temporary audience"
The naked-eye 3D advertising screen on the Bund in Shanghai is always crowded with passers-by taking photos - this is exactly the "unexpected gain" that the organizer wants to see the most. The outdoor LED screen comes with "visual hegemony", which can forcibly turn passers-by into event communicators. When your circle of friends is flooded with a cool screen, the online exposure of this event has completed a viral fission. How much does a 3D billboard cost?
Secret weapon to save the audience of "mountain top"
In a stadium with a capacity of 100,000 people, the audience who spend the cheapest tickets sitting in the last row often cannot even see the singer clearly. But now, a 400-square-meter LED home screen can allow people in every corner to see the sequins in the corner of the lead singer's eyes. Smarter organizers will set up split screens in different areas, such as displaying real-time data in the fan area and inserting warm reminders in the family area. This "focused feeding" strategy can make everyone feel cared for.

Advertisers’ favorite "scenario-based routine"
Beer brands play air-conditioning advertisements on the music festival screen, and the next second you pay for it in front of the stall - this kind of "what you see is what you get" consumption impulse can be triggered accurately by outdoor LED screens. Compared to small screens on mobile phones, the sensory stimulation brought by giant screens can temporarily remove the psychological defense, which is why pop-up stores always like to use LED walls to create "Internet celebrity check-in points". Provide you with a complete guide to outdoor LED display prices, purchase and application guides.
The "extreme challenge field" of the technician
At a certain electronic music festival in 2024, the organizer played a ruthless thing with the LED floor tiles screen: When the DJ cut the song, the entire ground glowed with the rhythm like piano keys, and the audience triggered different sound effects every step. This cross-border experiment of "technology + creativity" forces the LED industry to continuously upgrade waterproofing, heat dissipation and rapid assembly technology. After all, no one wants to collectively black-face the screen when holding an event in a heavy rain. Take you 8 minutes to understand the working principle of LED interactive floor tiles screen.
Business affairs hidden in pixels
When we are talking about outdoor LED screens, we are essentially discussing how to redistribute the attention of the crowd with light and shadow. From 8K resolution to AI intelligent brightness adjustment, these technological upgrades ultimately point to the same goal: to make everyone standing in front of the screen feel that they are an indispensable part of this carnival.

Next time you stand in the square and look at the screen, you might as well pay attention to your feet - those people who unconsciously move forward in order to see the picture clearly, those arms that raise their mobile phones to record videos, and the pupils that are shining brightly by the light and shadow, are all proving one thing: in this era of increasingly precious offline experience, the screen that can create "collective amaze" is the best social currency.
