what if i dont even have a condition and its just more american propaganda floated by the CIA to try to keep asian americans out of college (not asians cuz international tuition go brrrr)
they tried with race policy and soft propaganda in high impact cities.
i wouldnt put it past them.
#my favorite pastime is assuming everything is government propaganda made to destroy me#its pretty fun#nah but like. ive been a student. ive been an aide at title 1 schools. my mom works in title 1 schools too#theres something going on#i had a class of 8th graders and i was running an intro to stem careers class for a month#these bitches cant do long addition. like. addition with carry overs#about 50% can. and about 10% can do long subtraction#mind you this school gets top tier funding. they have more money in the school and teachers and resources than i could ever dream of#thats why i got hired that time (post covid but very early)#covid was only what? 2 yrs? this is a compounding problem since at least 4th grade. 3rd even.#the teacher that dropped them off said they dont know fractions or advanced math. and i was like..... fractions? advanced? ok.........#but they cant add.#my mom was an english teacher at that time. holyyyyyyyyyy shit. her kids in 6th grade did not know phonics. PHONICS!!!! THEY CANT READ#tell me this isnt because of the government. something has been brutally molested and then silenced#all this money. all these teachers. all this support staff. and in 6-8 years they are not at 3rd grade standard.#and its not just this school. its all of them.#teachers and staff are actively punished for giving homework. giving classwork. calling on kids in class to solve a guided problem.#something something humiliation. getting 0s. giving 0s against policy.#mf *I* was punished for trying to teach these kids. tf they doing in a stem careers class if they cant read or write????#you need basic literacy to read a textbook you know that? help me help them get to highschool.#youve set them up and theyre going to fail and you did this#i saw this in 5 different schools. this HAS to be the government. i cant imagine all districts admin is evil like this#i shit you not my mom has been told our job is to babysit the kids and not teach them#i get that. i get that for impacted communities you want them to come to school first.#BUT THEY CANT READ. THEY CANNOT READ!! WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO GRADE THEM! THEY'RE FUNCTIONALLY ILLITERATE#THEYRE 14 YEARS OLD AND CANNOT READ#this didnt used to happen when i was young btw. this wasnt a thing when i was in school#this is strictly after covid.#when i was young. title 1 was struggling and behind grade level. by like a grade or 2 max. thats 5+ now. this is the government.#the kids are 5+ years behind. have no conflict resolution skills. and are never taught how to behave in public. the fuck is going on

It's never too late to fill in the gaps in your education
By  NIRANJAN SHRESTHA 10:34 PM EST, February 13, 2025
KATHMANDU, Nepal (AP) — Sushila Gautam, 77, checks her smartwatch, a gift from her son living in the United States, to see if she should leave for her reading and writing lessons.
“At home, I get bored when my son and daughter-in-law go to work and grandchildren are at school. I want something to do,” she says with a smile.
When Sushila was young, girls in her village weren’t sent to school.

For about a year now, she has been going for free lessons near her home on the outskirts of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, at the Ujyalo Community Learning Center. The center was set up three years ago by the local council to provide basic education to women like her.
“Now, I finally have the chance,” says Sushila.
She can now read signs in English and Nepalese, is able to check her heart rate on a smartwatch, and use a smartphone. But the skill she is most proud of is her ability to sign her name on official documents. Previously, she had to put thumbprints.

Bimala Maharjan Bhandari, who runs the center, says she had difficulties at first to convince women to join.
“I had to tell them that being able to read phone messages, product labels and signing documents can benefit the whole family,” Bhandari said.

Women sit at desks reading aloud from their Nepali language textbooks, following their instructor. Some write down simple sentences in their notebooks. During a break, they file out of the classroom to play soccer on a small hard court.
Bhandari believes that the center encourages friendship and physical well-being among the learners, creating a supportive environment for personal and collective growth.

Among the older students is 88-year-old Thuli Thapa Magar, who has spent her entire life as a homemaker. She, like Sushila, never went to school and was illiterate before joining the center.
She is proud of the fact that she is finally learning.

Surviving mentally ill teenagehood is a bitch but you can do it! A collection of tips from our friends
1. you have to get weirder and also realize the people in your class suck and if they don't like you that means your cool
2. let urself be as weird as possible because it's better to be happy than force urself to fit in
3. distract urself with fun things Constantly (but talk about the tough times too)
4. find a cool thing you wanna do tomorrow or later in the week, have something to look forward to! Maybe even a couple things!
5. Start a craft! It’s nice seeing that you’ve Made Something With Your Hands
6. try to recognize that even tho some coping mechanisms might not be the healthiest they might be what's saving you, and they are still important. The time for unlearning them is when you are stable not when they are still serving you
7. Failing classes is fine, it won’t end your future if you fail a little
8. Anything worth doing is worth half assing! an essay you write in a half delirious state that's absolute dogshit is still going to get you a better mark than nothing
9. write fanfiction for English creative writing assignments
10. If people don’t communicate why they’re upset with you that’s not your fault

The Irkutsk Molotochniki: AKA The Academy Maniacs (BIG info post)
Tumblr media
NOTE: Haiii!! Sorry I haven’t been posting, I got a life! I’ve been writing this since AUGUST! But took a 3 month break. I kinda rushed the trial but everything else comes from Russian articles! <3
Early Life
Artyom Alexandrovich Anoufriev
RUSSIAN: Артём Александрович Ануфриев
Born October 4th, 1992, in Irkutsk Russia to mother Nina Ivanovna Anoufrieva and no father had been described positively by classmates despite being an outcast and his hard home life. Including a family friend who had known him ‘from the cradle’ who characterized Artyom as “Artyom is a good-natured boy, polite, I’ve never heard a bad word from him,”. According to his headmaster his mother had taught time to hate people and give given bad grades, would try coerce the teacher into psychologically pressuring her son. Artyom had good grades especially in English and literature, he had also shown interest in music and took lessons for the guitar and double bass. He had also joined, sang and played in a local music group before the groups organizer left.
Tumblr media
Artyom as a kid
During his older years Artyom started to mature and became more out going while his grades deteriorated. He shortly graduated high school with sufficiency. In his senior year his class filmed a farewell video, in which everyone gave their opinion on what happiness meant to them. In the video Artyom answer was: "To be honest, I do not know what happiness is. But I would really like to quickly find out what it is.".
After graduation Artyom went onto Irkutsk State Medical University while working at an art museum.
Three months before his arrest Artyoms neighbours reported hearing yelling and banging on the walls, like he was hitting the wall with his fists or running at it full speed. Artyom would yell “I hate everybody” and “I will kill you”. During the investigation Artyom would admit that at times his relationship with his mother was strained, and that he’d fear he wouldn’t be able to prevent himself from killing her. According to Artyoms lawyer, Svetlana Kokareva, he often talked negatively about his mother and called her ‘defective’ as well as a generally negative attitude towards women. Nikita also reportedly experienced similar: his depression worsened, he stopped communication with family and he started experiencing insomnia.
Nikita Vakhtangovich Lytkin
RUSSIAN: Никита Вахтангович Лыткин
Born March 24th, 1993, in Irkutsk Russia to his mother Marina, who worked at a shoe store and to a father who left the family shortly after Nikita was born. His father than married another woman who died shortly after and whose son committed suicide in the wake of his mothers death. Nikita’s father would return but leave after due to his depression from his deceased ex wife. During Nikita’s childhood he would come and go. Many accounts say Nikita was bullied at school and instead of standing up for himself he would just reply with “die.” Because of this, Nikita was given the nickname ‘Jimbo’ as a reference to Jimbo Jones, a bully from ‘the simpsons’.
Tumblr media
Nikita as a kid
During junior high Nikita would do very well at studying and had good marks, he did not like math very much and in 5th grade was assigned to a special math class do to poor test results. Besides his good grades, Nikita was unsociable and uncommunicative. One family friend says this is because Nikita was jealous of his classmates with richer families. Because of his poor socialization Nikita started losing relations to friends.
Tumblr media
Nikita’s childhood home
Meeting
At a mutual friends birthday party Nikita (10) and Artyom (11) met, with the two studying at the same school but one studying a grade higher. The two quickly grew close and Nikita fell into a deep depression, only trusting Artyom at the time, the two supported each other. Artyoms mother did not support the twos friendship and stated that she thought Nikita would have a bad influence on her son. However, after graduating Artyom would continue to study and even enroll into medical school unlike Artyom, Nikita did not. In several reports Nikita either dropped out of school or got expelled for insufficient grades.
During their friendship the started a punk-rock band called ‘Злые гномы’ the band didn’t last long but in 2008 the band was able to put out an album called ‘Чёрные полосы крови’ (AKA. Black Streaks Of Blood) the pair soon started another band, a noise band, named ‘Расчленённая ПугачОва’ or ‘Dissected PugachOva’.
Violent Interests
The duo both had a common interest of maniacs and murderers. The most relevant being the Irkutsk ‘Blood Money Gang’ in March of 2010. The gang being led by 22-year-old Konstantin Shumkov. Shumkov though he was expelled from his educational institution, wanted to work with children. He gathered a group of teenagers from dysfunctional families to kill 5 homeless people and attack 3 others in 2009. The pair followed the news very closely and even dedicated an album to the gang with songs like “Killing is cool!”, “Massacre at a maternity hospital” and “I killed a homeless man”. Nikita also reportedly made a social media group out of sympathy for the gangs leader named ‘Irkutsk Anti Bom-Gang: Blood Magic’ in the introduction fornthe group the group declares their hopes to continue Shumkovs work.
“The "Dismembered PugachOva" group will continue the work of the "Blood Magic" not only in the musical sense, but also in the real sense. [...] There is no place for posers in our group. Only those who decide the fate of cattle or are only going to start serious actions are allowed. If you are determined, you are here.”
As well, they would most videos of the murders in the groups and told the members to ‘abandon empty posturing and commit at least one murder’
You may wonder how people didn’t think of that as a red flag, well, many visitors thought that the videos they posted were staged and that they were ‘young liars and braggots’.
The two made other social media groups such as "We are gods", "Pichushkin - our president" a reference to a fellow Russian serial killer and "Dissected Pugachova"in reference to their band by the same name. However I could not find what exactly they posted.
Possible Motives
There are a few theories on what the duos motives were, one theory is that they were pushed by Nationalist propaganda. Since for a while Artyom was apart of a white power skinhead group and given the nickname “Fashik- Natsik”. From Artyoms suggestion Nikita would converse online with the skinheads but was ultimately denied part in the group due to his discrediting Ossetian patronymic Vakhtangovich (Iranian-Caucasian decent). Their affiliation with the skinheads didn’t last, as one investigator states ‘they immediately sensed their animal cruelty and rejected them’ another report stated that Artyom felt the groups ideology was ‘too passive and soft’. The then leader of the skinheads ‘Boomer’ stated later in court that ‘Anoufriev felt hatred towards everyone, and did not care whom he killed’. After being arrested in the pre-trial detention room Anoufriev made a message that stated:
"I want to apologize to everyone. My advice to parents: forbid your children to visit sites of nationalistic nature in social networks,"
However, the duo isn’t thought to be hate oriented since they didn’t have any nationality in mind. Nor did they care about homeless people or immigrants. Anoufriev and Lytkin simply hated all of humanity all together and even openly stated it. A motive that both Anoufriev and Lytkin confirm is their desire to imitate other serial killers.
According to Anoufriev the idea of murder was Lytkins.and claimed that it, unlike Lytkin, did not give him the satisfaction he had hoped for. He says he only did it “he put it where it wasn’t necessary” and described Lytkin with "I will just say—he is a leader. He did not influence, but was an instigator of crimes,". However, during the investigation Anoufriev stated that he was planning on moving to St.Petersburg and commit more crimes had he not been arrested. Investigator, Yevgeny Karchevsky reports that Lytkin admitted that he couldn’t have done it alone and stated that “it wasn’t interesting to one” and “Artyom and I did it- I liked it”. Lytkin also stated, like Anoufriev, that he would’ve kept killing had he not been caught.
The two stated they would walk from 6pm - 10pm around the “State University” transport stop in Akademgorodok. They would miss 5-20 people while looking for a suitable victim.
Timeline of Crimes
November 14, 2010 - Anoufriev and Lytkin attacked an 18-year-old Anastasia Markovskaya while she was walking from the 19th school bus stop in the way of the Novo-Irkutsky Village. The two tried bashing her head in to which they were in some reports, scared off, while in others she played dead. Markovskaya reported on the Akademgorodok online forum about the attacked. Where Anoufriev and Lytkin responded and asked her how it felt to be beaten.
November 24, 2010 - the pair attacks an unnamed 46-year-old woman, stealing her bag.
December 1, 2010 - the pair attacks a woman, stealing 500 rubles which they used to buy mallets. Later the same day the pair spotted a 12-year-old Danil Semyonov going down a snowy hill on his sled. Nikita initiated a the idea of killing Semyonov to Artyom since he was a weak victim who couldn’t put up a strong Defense. After catching Semyonov Nikita struck him in the back of the head, knocking him down. Artyom then hit him with a baseball bat, Nikita then stabbed Semyonov in the temple with a penknife. Later when Danils mother and bother had found him and had paramedics called to the scene. However, after being caught in a traffic jam, Semyonov was dead before arrival. On Semyonov’s arm was found a hematoma (also known as, a bruise) curating the idea he either fought back or was grabbed roughly. The next day his sled was found in good condition. Semyonovs parents and police didn’t think it was a homicide and instead an accident, that he simply hit a birch tree at high speeds. However later Anoufriev and Lytkin stated that the boy was simply ‘training’ for them. He was the first victim killed.
December 16, 2010 - nearly 20m from the spot Semyonov was killed, a 69-year-old Olga Mikhailovna was found. Olga had been a researcher at the Research Institute for solar and terrestrial physics. The pair killed her quickly unlike Semyonov. She was found with 30 knife wounds. Nikita and Artyom had also made an audio recording discussing how they’d kill her, after which they recorded the murder.
December 29, 2010 - The pair first attacked 29-year-old Valentinovna Svetlova at 6am, who escaped. The pair only took her purse which they then threw out. She miraculously survived her attack. An hour after her attack 22 year-old coach Yekaterina Karpova, Karpova was pregnant during her attack while walking home with her 6-year-old niece Olga Averina. While walking to the railroad Karpova reported that she saw the pair but didn’t engage. While crossing the railroad the two were attacked by Nikita and Artyom, Averina managed to escape with being hit by Nikita in the sides, later being diagnosed with extensive hematoma in the liver area. Karpova had, had her skull crushed in and fingers snapped despite screaming that she was pregnant. The killers were scared off by a car pulling out from around the corner. In result to this, Karpova and her pregnancy miraculously survived.
January 1, 2011 - Around 5am Artyom and Nikita attacked a homeless man who lived near some garbage cans, inflicting 40 hit to him as well as smashing his head in with mallets. He died later in hospital and has been deemed ‘Corpse No.20’ since authorities couldn’t identify the man.
On January 15th a 19-year-old homeless man named Vladimir Bazilevsky, who had bloodied clothes was detained on suspicion of the previous murder. During the interview he told officials that he had spent the night in a sewer well however, officials began to make him believe otherwise and how Bazilevsky put it “Knocked a murder confession” out of him. After more investigation he was wrongfully convicted of murder and in April of 2011 was sentenced to 4 years. After the actual killers were arrested, DNA of the blood on his clothes didn’t match any of the victims. In May of 2012 after serving over a year and a half of prison time, Bazilevsky was released and all charges against him were dropped.
January 30, 2011 - The pair attacked a student named Oleg Semyonov who was returning home from a night club. He survived with head wounds, a concussion and traumatic brain injury.
February 3, 2011 - The pair attacks an unidentified elderly woman whom survived with a head injury.
February 8-9 date unknown, 2011 - At night the pair attacks another woman whom survived due to a passing by car.
February 21, 2011 - While walking home drunk from visiting his sister Alexander Petrovich Maximov was attacked and killed. His jaw and head had been completely broken, as well he had been decapitated with remainders of his skull being found afterwards. Lytkin shot him in the head with a Baikal air pistol and Anoufriev had tried to remove his eyes, but ultimately failed lacking the proper knowledge. Maximov had a closed casket funeral, unable to have an open casket.
February 27, 2011 - Lytkin single-handedly attacked a woman by the name of Nina Kuzmina whom was sitting on a bench located on Lermontov St. Lytkin hit her twice in the head, but because of Kuzmina making a ‘fuss’ a nearby man looking out his window scared Lytkin off, taking the woman’s phone with him. Kuzmina survived.
March 11 , 2011 - On a walkway near the State university bus stop, Anoufriev and Lytkin killed a homeless man by the name of Roman Faizullin. Anoufriev shot him in the face before the pair dragged him behind some bushes and off the street. The pair stabbed Faizullin in the head, chest and groin. Lytkin had attempted to cut the mans hand off but only managed his pinky finger. Later Anoufriev photographed the corpse from his apartment window since it was near.
After this attack a rally was held in the area to discuss what precautions and measures should be put in place. Anoufriev and Lytkin would go to these rallies and meetings, they would share ideas about the killers and would video tape the meetings. By this time police had already figured out that the killer was between ages 16-18 and set up patrol cars that would tour the area to reduce other attacks (which didn’t work). Still in the area there was misinformation which lead to the citizens fearing that the killer was a guy in his 30s.
The pair then gained the name the “Academy Maniacs” via a journalist for the Komsomolskaya Pravda, Olga Lipchinskaya since nobody could identify the boys.
??, 2011 - On an unknown date the pair attacked a homeless woman whom survived the attack due to an off duty police officer seeing the pair from out his window.
??, 2011 - on another unknown date the pair attacked a woman using a screwdriver. Since the place was crowded the pair left and the woman survived.
April 3, 2011 - The last of the pairs crimes. The two killed a 63-year-old homeless woman named Alevtina Kuydina. The woman was killed near a research institute, after killing her the pair filmed a video. On the video, filmed by Anoufriev, Lytkin can be seen cutting the woman’s earlobe off with a knife after being scolded by Anoufriev for not covering the knife in case of finger prints. Lytkin then tried to cut the woman’s hand off and gouge her eyes. When he couldn’t, he instead struck a knife directly into her eye and started stabbing. Later they dropped the woman’s earlobe off at the porch of a school. Anoufriev send the video to an online friend from St.Petersburg named Ilya Ustinov or known as online “Solomon Gojo” who said the video was sluggish he still however, distributed the video online.
Investigation/ Arrests
Investigators and police didn’t suspect the attacks to be from the same people, since the victims had no relation or anything alike. The investigation lasted months while the town was left in fear. But because of the crime spanning in such a small area the police were able to piece together a sketch of the suspects. The portraits were even sent to the workplace of Lytkins grandmother, the institute of organic chemistry, she noticed how the portrait looked eerily similar to her grandson. She sent her son Vladislav, Lytkins uncle, to his house to question Nikita. Once he got there nobody was home, Nikita having gone out for a walk (but suspected victim hunting). Nikita’s uncle however, found the camera he had lended him, on the camera he saw the video that the pair had filmed prior. After discussing, the family handed the video over to police and soon Lytkin was arrested, Anoufriev following shortly after. Prior to the arrest Lytkins mother had found a knife packaged in the hallway or in other sources, his pocket. When asked about the knife he simply stated it was for Defense.
A little piece of Trial
On March 6 of 2013 Lytkin stated that Anoufriev didn’t participate in four of the attacks and instead someone else accompanied him, Lytkin did give names but they were never publicly disposed. Lytkin also stated he had other accomplices however it’s theorized that he made this up to slow down the investigation. One day at the detention centre Lytkin told his mother "Why do they make the devil out of Artyom and I am so white and fluffy? We are both to blame. He is no worse and no better than me, we committed murders together." Anoufriev states that the police pressed Lytkin using threat of solitary. Lytkins grandmother also published an open letter claiming that she blamed Television, democracy, the internet, satanists and pornography for Lytkins corruption.
During the trial each boy had taken a different defence, Lytkin took leniency on him being a minor at the time of the crime and Anoufriev cause he had only pleaded guilty to 1 count of murder.
Sentencing, Transfers & Where they are now
Artyom:
On April 2nd 2013, Irkutsk Regional Court sentenced Anoufriev to life imprisonment in a special regime colony. On January 27th, 2014, Anoufriev was transferred to Ognenny Ostrov in the Vologda Oblast. After transferring, Anoufriev stated in interviews that he did not agree with the sentence and that his family was trying to get him out on parole, as well, he also stated that he was working on a book but did not explain what it was about. And in Febuary of 2017 Anoufriev stated that he had been studying Law at The University of Latvia.

Do you know that feeling when you wake up and feel like you don’t belong anywhere? As if everything you thought you had lived and experienced suddenly stopped making sense? That’s exactly how you woke up that morning. When you opened your eyes, the feeling hit you hard—a sense of not belonging to the place where you had been placed.
It wasn’t exactly your style to be very talkative in the morning. Weeks and weeks had already passed since you had arrived in Barcelona. Your older sister had promised it would be quite an experience. A new team with experienced people—it was supposed to be the perfect place for your promising future in soccer.
Your biggest shock was realizing that you should have paid more attention in your Spanish classes at school, especially when your entire team spoke in frighteningly fast Catalan.Normally, you would be the type of person to complain about waking up before sunrise, but that had just become a solid routine to try to ease the pressure on your shoulders. You wanted to be the best, you wanted to contribute to the team, but your mind seemed to love sabotaging you at any moment.
The silence of the early morning was unsettling, and your thoughts echoed in your mind like screams in an empty stadium. Today was the most important game of the season so far, and you, a seventeen-year-old girl who could barely order a coffee in Spanish, were in the starting lineup.
You felt the weight of responsibility pressing on your chest, as if someone had placed a heavy stone there. You turned in bed, looking at the clock on the nightstand: 5:10 a.m. Your mind was racing, replaying every training session, every piece of advice from the coach, every doubtful glance, every word from your captain. You weren’t fluent in Spanish, and that seemed to isolate you more than you’d like.With a tired sigh, you got out of bed, your bare feet meeting the cold floor. You stretched quickly, trying to relieve the tension that had already built up in your shoulders.
When you arrived at the club’s locker room, you felt the gaze of your teammates. Some were already there, laughing quietly, while others were focused on their own pre-game rituals. But when you walked in, the atmosphere shifted slightly. Your serious expression, your slightly trembling hands as you opened your locker, and the silence you carried with you seemed to alert the other players. Something was different.
"Hey, chica. Everything okay?" Alexia asked, trying to break the uncomfortable mood.
You nodded quickly, forcing a smile.
"Yeah, I’m fine," you replied, but your voice sounded weaker than usual. You knew you weren’t convincing anyone, least of all yourself.
As you changed into your gear for warm-up, you felt the weight of their eyes on you. Some exchanged worried glances, while others whispered among themselves. You were the youngest on the team, the new promise, a girl with natural talent that even the most experienced players found impressive. But the pressure was visible, and your lack of communication only heightened the concern.
Almost thirty minutes later, the locker room was bustling, with players stretching, others adjusting their cleats, and exchanging last words of encouragement before heading onto the field. The atmosphere was one of anticipation, but also tension.
Alexia approached. She was more than just a leader on the field; she was the backbone of the team, someone who knew what to say to calm her teammates’ nerves. Her presence was comforting, and her experience was something you admired.
"Chica," Alexia called, sitting down beside you. Her voice was soft but firm, like that of an older sister. "You seem... distracted."
You looked up quickly, surprised by the direct approach. You tried to smile, but the expression didn’t reach Alexia’s eyes.
"I’m fine."
Alexia wasn’t convinced. She knew that feeling all too well: the weight of being young and having the world expect great things from you. She had been through it herself.
"Listen," she began, switching to slower, clearer English. "I know today is a big day for you. Your first game as a starter, right? It’s normal to feel nervous. We all feel it, no matter how many times we’ve played."
You looked at Alexia, your eyes revealing a mix of anxiety and gratitude that someone was trying to help you.
"It’s just that..." you started, hesitating, trying to find the right words. "I don’t want to disappoint anyone. And I can’t speak well with you all." Your voice faltered at the end, and you hid your face in your hands.Alexia placed a hand on your shoulder, offering a comforting touch.
"Chica, you don’t need to speak perfectly to understand. Soccer is a universal language. And as for the pressure..." She paused, looking into your eyes. "You’re here because you deserve to be. The coach trusts you, and so do I, and so do the girls. Just trust yourself."
You took a deep breath, feeling some of the weight on your chest dissipate. Alexia’s words were simple but touching. You weren’t alone. You had a team around you, people who supported you, even if you still couldn’t express yourself perfectly.
"Gracias, Alexia," you said, this time with a genuine smile. "I’ll try."
Alexia smiled back, giving your shoulder a light squeeze before standing up.
"That’s all we ask. Now, let’s go. The field is waiting for you."
You nodded, feeling a new wave of determination. You were still nervous, but now there was also a glimmer of calm in your heart. Alexia was right: soccer was your language, and you knew how to speak it. It was time to show the world what you were capable of.

U.A. High in my DR !
Basics
Students are separated randomly into specific departments and classes sectioned by the letters A-K.
These departments are:
Department of Heroics (A - B): Students in this department learn everything they need to know in order to become excellent heroes in service to the community. They are trained in battle, first aid, rescue, support, and all manners of heroic-related lessons.
Department of General Education C - E): Students who don’t make it to the hero course are included here. This department supports students aiming for college and other pursuits. It’s also possible for students with good grades and exceptional strength and quirk skills to be transferred into the hero course (And either the support or business course mind you). Basically regular HS but they get to say that they went to UA on their resume.
Department of Support (F - H): Students here focus on developing support equipment that helps heroes out on the battlefield. With a workspace stock to the brim with all sorts of special tools and their own studio to build things, this department provides an unmatched creative environment.
Department of General Management (I - K): This department focuses on all aspects of heroic business, from the founding and managing of hero agencies to the promotion of public opinion regarding heroes. They even do hands-on lessons in venture capitalism. They have a lot of free time.
Each class is usually comprised of 21 students. That means that the total student population at UA would be 693.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We stay in the same class with the same teacher for all 3 years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since UA is a highly prestigious school, we get a lot of funding and benefits for the dorms and when we go on trips and whatnot. (Food we buy for the dorms is paid for, we get free snacks/concessions in the sports festival, free hero costume updates and renewals)
The school curriculum is way less loaded than here. The school system is much better.
The Hero Teachers are actually good at teaching.
Since U.A. is famous, it has many sponsors with support and hero merch companies, so some hero course students (usually 3rd years) have their own hero merch already. Students are sometimes sponsored and do photoshoots and are invited to red carpet events. (Following the School Festival, Class 1-A gets loads of sponsors and stuff!)
The teachers and students are encouraged to decorate their classes and most of them do so.
U.A. has a popular school website.
Staff and students are recommended to have Twitter to update the public events, the majority of the students obviously don't take this seriously, there's always someone who has beef and makes it public (Monoma) and it always ends up like those MHA Tweets, it’s the funniest thing ever.
Tumblr media
Schedule
School is Monday - Friday and starts at 8:25 and finishes at 15:10. Regular classes take place during the first half of school, then the afternoon (for the Dept. of Heroics) you will have hero training. Only Dept. of Heroics students have an additional 7th period.
The teachers move between classes while the students stay in 1 class (besides electives).
Wednesdays are half days and only consist of hero training (so no typical school work), though sometimes it's replaced by FHS. You also don't have to wear your uniform on Wednesdays.
We will always have some kind of free time for school despite our somewhat busy schedules.
Not all school days are the same (emergency drills, other schools coming to train with us, etc.).
Classes
Core Subjects for Dept. of Heroics
Homeroom: Taught by Aizawa. Acts as a study hall. The class reps will often give a small meeting with the class about important events during this period.
Japanese: Taught by Cementoss. Focuses on reading, writing, and literature.
Mathematics: Taught by Ectoplasm. Covers algebra, geometry, and calculus.
English: Taught by Present Mic. Emphasizes reading, writing, and conversation skills.
Home Economics: Taught by Midnight. Cooking and other aspects of household management.
Foundational Hero Studies (FHS): Taught by All Might, Aizawa or Midnight. Hero related studying: hero laws, safety precautions, first aid, jsl, media training, dividing hero and civilian identity etc.
Hero Training: Taught by various teachers, usually Aizawa or All Might, it changes every week and we are informed about the activities during homeroom. For example: Quirkless Combat, Rescue Training, Combat, Quirk Training etc.
Elective Subjects
Thought by various teachers. This is the only class where students move instead of teachers, these are shared, so you could end up with classmates from other classes. Students get to completely choose what electives they have. If they don’t choose, they are placed in extra training or study hall.

Around UA campus
The updated UA security system is really good. The sensors are so good, you don't even need to have your ID out. They can scan it anywhere on your person. If you lost or misplaced your ID, the gates also have facial recognition software, so it's fine. If you're not a student or staff, you NEED a visitor pass or the school will go into lockdown on you.
We can use our school IDs to get snacks and drinks from vending machines around the school hallways. It’s free and they are replenished daily.
UA has a courtyard where we can eat outside. Most of the 2nd and 3rd years get food from places outside of the school campus and eat outside in the courtyard. Because of this, the cafeteria isn't as crowded and when we eat lunch we can sit and enjoy our food comfortably. The cafeteria is also luxurious and looks like a fancy mall café.
The library is huge and has many resources with much to explore. There are many different levels with varying types of quiet floors and study halls. It's also open 24/7 so students who are fighting to finish a project can pull all-nighters.
There’s a little shop that has U.A. and hero merch and school supplies including books for courses. You can also buy the merch on the online website.
UA has extracurricular groups and clubs for those who aren't in the hero course such as other sports and things like cheerleaders, debate, theater, music, cooking, ballet, and much more. I mean, hero course students CAN do those things but they WILL have a hard time doing so all while dealing with said hero responsibilities. As mentioned before, business course students have a lot of free time and general ED students are basically regular HS students who just so happen to be going to UA and for support course students, it really depends on how much work you choose to take on for yourself.
There is a study center where students who need extra help can go. Students with failing grades must go here for a set amount of hours to get the help they need. It’s strictly work, and talking about anything other than school is basically prohibited. It’s usually run by Ectoplasm and his clones or Hound Dog.
Work studies & Internships
All first years do an internship, it’s required. This is usually after the sports festival when students have had a chance to show off their skills.
Work studies are basically experience-oriented off-study programs that allow students in the hero course who have Provisional Licenses to work with pros at their agencies. Students will be able to use their quirks under the guidance of a pro, and can even be dispatched to fight villains and help out in disaster areas. If you do well, you can be scouted to become the hero’s sidekick.
Work studies are a more serious version of internships. They entail helping pro heroes on the streets and with investigations. They are usually reserved for 2nd and 3rd-year students, who usually have their licenses. 1st years didn't do them in the past. However, with the rise of villain activity, the school decided to open up work studies to 1st years as well, albeit a very small and select few of them. If they didn't find a good agency with a proven track record they wouldn't do it at all.
Events
U.A. has seasonal dances and a lot of events, like Halloween, Hero Day and other festivals.

Class
If you’re standing at the front of the classroom looking out at the desks, the seating arrangement starts at the leftmost side of the room (“A” names), going front to back and then going to the next row to the right, and so on.  keep in mind that the alphabetical order here is based on the Japanese alphabet. My number is 10.
Tumblr media
Here's how I laid out the desks for 21 students:
Tumblr media
Since we stay in the same classrooms for most of the days we can leave out stuff at our desks. They have shelves underneath with 2 outlets and lots of space.

Class 1-A Friend Groups
Everyone is actually really close, but those are what groups spend the most time together. Of course we hang out in different groups or all together too.
We have frequent movie and game nights, 1-A has a group chat and it’s always active, there’s always someone wanting to do something. Sometimes we invite people from other classes.

series masterlist
Tumblr media
"10, 20, 30 – are you kidding me? Pay for real or get out of my face," you demand, your hand outstretched, impatience and annoyance evident on your face.
This fool thinks he can score a whole bag for just $30. Not only is your supply top-tier and unmatched, but you also deal in real quality weed. You’re drugs are in demand and are selling quickly on many street corners, earning you hefty profits.
"Can't I pay some other time?" The typical rich, snotty guy with the douchebag hairstyle looks at you as if this is a negotiation, like he can convince you to lower your price for a rich trust fund baby like him. No fucking way.
"Listen dipshit, I'll make you pay double if I have to repeat myself. Then I'll ban you," you warn, narrowing your eyes at him as you slowly retract your arm.
The guy panics, sighs, then pulls out a $100 bill.
"See? You can be good!" you quip, snatching the bill out of his hands.
He mutters something before leaving, driving off in his stupidly loud supercar.
You were so overcharging him but you didn’t care. “Fucking loser.”
You turned around, pulling the massive stack you earned tonight out of your pocket, smiling as you think of what new things to buy for your luxury apartment. You count the money before looking up and freezing.
A man is standing there, dressed in the full nine yards in a police uniform, hands folded over his chest as he looks down at you with furrowed brows.
“Mind telling me what you were doing?”
His gruff voice entrances you for a moment.
It’s in that moment you realize that it’s the voice of the guy from your old class. The loud, popular guy had turned into a police officer. It didn’t shock you, honestly. Cassian was always about honesty and integrity, all about giving back to the community and whatnot.
Then you remember you’re holding a massive stack of money, weed is in your pocket, and he most likely saw you selling. So you smile at him before running.
You bolt, the sound of his heavy footsteps driving you forward.
Panic starts to set in, but you push it down, focusing on your escape. You bite your lip, urging yourself to keep going despite the danger looming around you.
“I’m SO fucked,” you think, looking around for an escape route.
In the dimly lit alley, you spot a door and rush towards it, relief flooding through you. Finally, you think, a way out from this mess. Your hands shake as you fumble with the lock, but no matter how hard you try, the door remains stubbornly shut, making you almost sob in frustration.
Frantic, you search for another escape route, your heart pounding in your chest.
"An alley? How cliche," he remarks, approaching you with a wry grin. The dim light of the alley lamp highlights his handsome face. You didn’t have time to admire him before, since you were running and all, but damn, he looked absolutely delicious.
Dark features, nice hair, a straight nose, and a stubbled jaw. He was wearing a tight short-sleeved officer shirt that hugged his built arms insanely. He had really grown into a fine man compared to the young boy he used to be. You looked him up and down, really taking in his height as he got closer and closer.
"You know there’s no way out of this, so put your hands infront of you and let’s make this easy, yeah? Don’t do anything stupid. Again," he says, his voice firm but with a hint of exasperation.
“Fine.”
You chewed the inside of your mouth, trying to think of a way out of this as he put the cuffs on you, leading you back to his car. Maybe some sweet words and feminine tears would solve it, you thought, hoping for a chance to talk your way out of trouble.
You had never gotten caught before, it was extremely humiliating and you would not stand for it.
"What’s your name, officer?" you ask, your voice tinted with slight seduction, testing if he remembers you. You don’t care what you have to do; you will get out of this.
"You know who I am. Badge number 031210," he answers, eyes on the road, hands gripping the steering wheel.
“Okay, Cassian. I think there has been a huge mistake. You don’t really wanna arrest me,” you say, rolling your eyes playfully, the cuffs jingling as you motion with your hands.
“Yeah? Why do I really not want to arrest you?”
“Because I’m a good person, I really am. So I happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Come on, we can overlook this, just let me go.” you plead, trying to appeal to his sense of leniency from the backseat of his cop car.
He chuckles, lookinh back at you through the mirror. “Can’t do that. Maybe don’t deal drugs next time.”
He sighs looking at you with sympathy that makes your skin crawl. It made you feel ashamed that his old classmate was a lowlife drug dealer.
“What happened, Y/N? I remember how smart you were. Surely, you could have become something big,” he questioned.
You looked away not being able to handle the emotions in his eye. “Things happened Cassian. I’m not explaining them to you,” you try crossing your arms then remember the cuffs and settle for putting them in your lap.
Cassians gaze hardens slightly. “Okay then. I guess you’ll have to explain it all down at the precinct.”
Okay, so you’re screwed, right? Wrong. There’s always a plan cooking in your little head.
You take your cuffed hands in front of you and drag down the zipper of your hoodie, looking down innocently. “Cassian, could you turn on the AC? It’s a little hot in here. And you don’t mind me taking off my hoodie, right?”
Cassian grips the wheel, the leather creaking slightly. “I don’t mind.”
As you slip off your hoodie, you catch his gaze lingering on your exposed skin, a flicker of something in his eyes. The air between you thickens with tension, the heat rising in the confined space of the car.
Thankfully, there’s no barrier between you, so there’s nothing stopping you from getting closer to him.
“Cass, I’m having trouble taking it off, could you help me?” you ask, having shuffled very close to him, talking lowly into his ear. You're directly behind him, knowing the effect your voice had on the man.
You took advandtage of the fact that you were in a red light and got closer, whispering and pleading for him to help you get comfortable. Cassian’s eyes fluttered slight at the way your voice and breath were hitting his ear.
You scanned his body, his composure, cassian was tense, there was no doubt about it––he was more than turned on. “That’s cute.”
That snapped him out of his trance. He straightened up a little. “Do you want me to arrest you for solicitation too?” he mutters, driving to the station.
You start to beg some more, knowing that he’s at his limit. There’s no way he’s gonna be able to keep up the good cop act for long.
You start to place light kisses on his cheek, traveling all the way to his neck. He lets out a groan and tucks his lips between his teeth, struggling to maintain his composure.
“Come play with me, officer. I’ll let you do whatever you want to me,” you add, licking a stripe up his neck. That’s all it takes for him to speed into a abandoned alley and park haphazardly.
The adrenaline makes your heart beat faster and faster, a sick rush going through you.
There was a moment of silence when he pulled you out of the car, his grip firm on your upper arm. You found yourself sitting at the edge of the seat, your feet between his legs, the proximity making your pulse race.
“When will you learn that this isn’t a joke,” he exclaims with irritation.
You tilt your head slightly, looking up at him through dolled lashes, doe-eyed and innocent.
“Maybe I need you to teach me, officer.”
The corner of his lips rise as he squats down infront of you, putting one hand on your thigh.
“Think some dick’s gon’ set you straight, huh?”
You erupt in goosebumps, loving the way his warm hands roamed your body.
“mm’yeah. think that’s exactly what i need.”
“Yeah? Alright then, step out of the vehicle,” he orders, not having an ounce of shame as he oogles your ass on your way out.
He pulls out the keys much to your surprise. But he only releases you so you can take off your hoodie, if anything it makes you more confused when he makes you put your hands behind your back instead of infront of you.
“I need sumthin’ to hold on to, don’t I?” he announces casually, like he isn’t talking about fucking someone he just arrested.
He walks you over to the hood of his car where he bends you over, thankful for the short sundress you were wearing underneath that hoodie.
Cassian puts his leg between yours, kicking your feet apart. He pushes your front against the hood of his car, the cold metall cooling your warm skin down.
“If you behave, i’ll let you go, understand?” he asks.
You almost scoff. Of course you’ll behave, it’s your-get-out-of-jail card. But you don’t say that. “Yes, sir. I understand.”
Cassians hold tightens slightly before he tells you how good of a girl you are as he pulls your panties down to your ankles. His hands move to his heavy belt, the belt thudding on the floor as he clips it off.
His hand lands on your ass with a smack, causing you to inhale sharply while showing him your wet, throbbing cunt. You smile secretly as his cock stretches you until he’s fully inside before jerking himself back out. His fucking rough and hard as his nails dig into the soft skin of your hips.
“Look at that, could just slide right in,” he chuckles lowly.
Your sounds of pleasure slipped from your lips as you tugged the metal cuffs around your wrists that were pinning your hands behind your back.
The way his dick was hitting deep, so deliciously hitting that good spot made your eyes roll back. Who knew a cop could fuck this good?
“—feels too fucking good, Cassian,” you moaned out, body covered in goosebumps.
he was giving you long strokes, pushing all the way in and then sliding all the way out leaving only a bit of his tip in every time
“yeah? some dick settin’ you straight,” he lets out when you squeeze around him, dangerously close to creaming on his cock.
You had to agree— his dick definitely made you act right. You almost started thinking about giving up dealing, maybe settle down and live a happy life. THAT is how good he was fucking you.
Cassian pulled out completely causing you to almost scream in frustration. Just a few more pumps and you would have been deliciously weak in the knees.
“No, no, no— put it back in, please,” you begged with low lidded eyes, god, you could almost cry.
“I’m just taking you into the car. Don’t worry, i’ll be so deep in your guts, you’ll never have to worry about me pulling out,” he whispers into your ear before gently biting your lobe.
Tears rolled down your face as you cried relentlessly out of pleasure. The windows had fogged up, droplets dripping down.
you whimpered, burying your head deeper into the car seat. he showed you no mercy, jackhammering into you as he shoved your face down, holding you down by your neck.
your eyes rolled into the back of your head as he dragged along your walls, ramming into your g-spot. some drool seeped out of the side of your mouth as his fingers dug into your hips.
“You still with me?” he asks, gently grabbing your neck to see if you’re alive. Cassian speeds up again when you barely manage to nod.
your mind became hazy and eyelids heavy, pathetic whimpers and gasps falling from your lips as you felt yourself slipping away.
“Officer, m’gon cum— can i, please?” You brokenly let out. Not only did you take backshots; he also made you ride, ate you out and had you gagging on his dick. You were exhausted and spent.
“You promise to be good? Hm?”
“Yeah, i promise,” you whine with tears im your eyes, toes curling as you tip over the edge.
“Then you can cum, pretty face.”
a low, guttural sound escapes his throat as he finishes, flooding into your pussy and stuffing you full with his cum before pulling out and smirking as it oozes out of you.
you collapse in the backseat, sweaty skin sticking to the dark leather. cassian runs a hand through his hair before putting his pants back on. a cocky smirk graces his lips at the sight of your fucked out, tired body.
“You’re a fucking terrible cop. Fucking someone you’ve arrested is grounds for termination, you know,” you rasp out quietly after a moment of peaceful quiet, smiling when his smirk lessens as he rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. You just better not let me run into you again. I’ll arrest your ass for real, understand?" he warns, his eyes boring into yours.
"I understand. And I’m sure you will, officer," you nod at him with a smile before gathering your belongings and getting ready to leave.
You kiss him one last time, a filthy, tongue-filled, teasing kiss before you open the door, leaving behind a flustered cop.
Of course, you would sell again. And you would do it especially in his patrol route.
Both him and the dick is far too interesting.

❁My favourite Japanese YouTube channels for advanced learners ❁
(Part one because tumblr is showing glitches when I try and edit further)
1.
Their JLPT lives and classes have saved my life on many occasions! When I started watching their videos they had only N3-N1 lessons taught in Japanese, but I believe they now also have N4 lessons in English. I also like their お金になるJLPT series a lot!
2.
Their N2 kanji playlist is the best I’ve seen on YouTube!
3.
I mentioned her podcast in the previous post, but she also has a lot of grammar and vocabulary lessons posted
4.
Her keigo and business Japanese playlists are really helpful, I always watch them when I need to brush up on it!
5.
The N1 grammar playlist is a lifesaver and covers everything
6.
Her vocabulary videos are really useful, I also love how she covers a lot in every lesson. Her vlogs using N1 vocab are great too!
7.
I will probably make a whole post on their 3 rules of onomatopoeia video because it has saved my life for JLPT, I’m now able to guess the answer based on these rules even if I have never seen the word before (and I used to struggle with onomatopoeia a lot)
8.
I love her conversation videos and vlogs! Probably suitable for intermediate learners too
9.
Amazing for kanji, especially if you’re also learning to write them!
10.
Also really helpful for JLPT preparation!
Please let me know in the comments if you know any others :)

My therapist is a woman married to a trans woman, and the two of them have been together for... I wanna say over 10 years now? She and her wife got married before she came out, she's stuck with her the whole time, and they're both in their 30s - 40s as far as I can tell. Her wife isn't doing too well health-wise lately, but I really hope she can pull through 🤞🏻
A classmate of mine had a mom who divorced his dad, marrying a woman afterwards, and he always said he had two moms and a dad. She was an English teacher at my high school, and even in Texas, she found a way to put a photo of her and her wife on her classroom desk. In that same high school, we have a gay man who's a Sargeant, teaching math classes while having a boyfriend. I once saw his boyfriend drop lunch off for him, and the two of them looked really happy together! Although there was controversy surrounding a trans woman who taught there (it's a long story), I was glad she taught speech and was the debate coach for a little bit, even if I was never personally in her classes. Wherever she is now, I hope she's okay.
There's a tall gay man running a coffee shop in my town now (MI, not TX) and he's gotta be at least in his 40s. They have a community pantry, library of banned books, and regular events held there. He's been nothing but kind to me, and I'm glad to live in a place where businesses like his can truly take off! We also have queer-owned salons, restaurants, art stores, all sorts of places in our town. Even if they aren't queer-owned, many businesses also have a progress flag in their window, I've seen the intersex inclusive one more than once!
I've also seen bi, lesbian, rainbow, nonbinary, and trans flags in various windows around here, so I know there's other queer folks I haven't seen yet. The pride event I went to in 2023 had 30,000 people attending, and it was such a fun time - I got to see all sorts of people. Also, I just wanna mention that our local pride center has been running since 1987, and the current person in charge of it is both Black and nonbinary, they're super cool!
So yeah, queer adults are everywhere! And yes, that includes people who have been around a few decades. There is a future for you, whether you're up north in a larger, louder community, or down south where things are quieter but still very much alive 💜
thank you so much for sharing this, i'm really glad you have these people in your life!

-POV: you. 10 am-
Inevitably, after the stream, I went to sleep. A nice calm slumber with schlatt's videos in the background. It was calming. I love his voice.
The next day came fast.
"Shit!" I ran out the door, late for my monday-morning class at college. Community. I wasn't exactly the high-achieving type. Well - I guess I was, but I'm not good at school. I was really smart, charming, and funny, but if I have to sit down to take a test, I might have a panic attack. The student rep's office didn't care, either, and said I had to have a disability diagnosis to qualify to even test in a separate room away from everyone else. I'm not disabled... just late.
I slammed through the doors to the building all but one of my classes took place in. Today was gen. ed., English. God, I hated this. What good was English class if I already knew how to speak it?
Using it to read and write, I guess. Cracking my laptop open, I managed to ignore the entirety of the lecture while prepping ideas for my next stream. THIS was what I aimed high for. Stardom. I hoped for it, at least. I never really thought I would be able to do it, I just wanted attention. Good attention - the kind that made people want to share their stories with you. None of that mattered anyways. I wanted a man. Schlatt. God, he was on my mind all the time. His hands.. his arms.. God, his voice. That man was so attractive I could drool. I needed him.
-General POV.-
As your professor droned on for 2 hours, you scoured the internet for ideas, help, and schlatt fics. You even pre-wrote some of your messages to schlatt. You were incessant. Right now, you were back in his DMs writing another sweet message. You worried this would drive him away - but he never came close to begin with,
what did you have to lose?
Your breakfast, apparently.
As you typed, you noticed something. Your breath hitched, hands instantly becoming clammy, shaky, and glued to your keyboard. Vomit crept at your throat.
Instead of seeing a notice - one that reminded you every day that he was out of reach - one saying "Invite this person to message.", you saw:
read yesterday at 10:48pm
"What." your breath hollowed out your chest like the hole Alice fell into. Your wonderland. You barely muttered that into the air at the back of the lecture hall. You slammed your computer shut, packed your bag, and ran out. You threw yourself and everything into your car, aimlessly scratching at your phone. You were desperate. Panicked. Nauseous.

hi handsome! i finally hit 5 twitch followers. yesterday i hit 200 subs on yt. thank you for being a great influence!! i know i wont be huge, but I’m thankful i get a chance to share my life with people. thank you for your stream today! i hope to be on one with you sometime <3
read yesterday at 10:48pm -
"WHAT THE HELL?!" a blood curdling SCREAM croaked out of your throat. Thank God your windows were rolled up. You wiped the sweat off your forehead, leaned your head on the steering wheel, and held your phone. You shook. Panicked. Lost your marbles, for hell's sake.
"It was a terrible idea to ever message him," you started to hyperventilate. Tunnel vision ate away at your already poor, astigmatism ridden eyesight. Your eyes welled up with tears. You were so confused.
"What is going on? Why can I text him? WHY WAS MY TEXT READ?!"
Your head slammed back into the seat headrest. You had one person to call about this - your childhood best friend. She wasn't exactly reliable, or smart, but by God was she a party.
riiiiiiiiing, riiiiiiiiing, riiiiiiiiing click "Bex!! Oh God, you're not ready for this," "What are you talking about? What happened? Why do you sound so freaked out?!" "Schlatt read my texts. He accepted my dm request and now I can text him." "NO FUCKING WAY" "WAY" "AAAAHHHHHHH, Y/N, this is your DREAM! Get that sucker to collab and you'll be famous!" "It's more than that, though, I'm worried this is bad. Like he's gonna blast me on his stream or something. What do I do?" "You play the part, you get his ass." "Dude. Stop. I'm not scamming him. I WANT to be like him, not be his enemy." "God, okay, fine. But when you ain't got that bag girl.. don't come crying to me." "Alright, bud. Bye." "Byee~" click
"Motherf.." your eyes glanced back down at the phone. You opened up the chat again.
What now?
A short time had passed, just enough to get home and settled, but also enough to make you feel as if father time had fallen asleep on the job and forgotten to make the clock tick. You went home and got back to your desk. Maybe now you could gather an idea as to what was going on.
c l i c k c l i c k c l i c k
You desperately tried to find the words. Any words, actually. The only thing that came to mind was to be completely honest and truthful.
cookkizkill
hi again handsome! I saw that you accepted my dms; what's going on!
-
You waited. Very impatiently at that. The time couldn't go by any slower, at this point. You anxiously sipped water at your desk. Did I mention you were waiting?
Your mind travelled all the possibilities of this - it could mean nothing, he could be belittling you, suing you, or doxxing you. Maybe this was him begging you to leave him alone. Maybe he would invite you onto a podcast, and if it didn't pan out well, you wouldn't reach the air at all? Maybe he was proposing. No, that was a weird thought for even you to think. He’s a star, not someone normal like you. You clicked off your tab and slammed your phone down onto your desk. God, you were a wreck. HE wrecked you. Emotionally at least..
bzzzt.
You ripped your phone up from the desk with your nasty, clammy hands. You were drenched in sweat.

“‘Doing good-‘ ‘Keep it up’? HE’S SEEN MY VIDEOS?!” You clawed at your beet red, sweaty face. “Holy SHIT. HOLY FUCKING SHIIIIIIIITTTT!” your screamed like a little girl meeting a disney princess for the first time. That was a mistake, as it was met by angry thumping on the other side of your apartment.
“Sorry!” You yelled towards the wall. Your crotchety middle-age man neighbor hated your guts for being loud. It was broad daylight, God forbid you make noise.
-
cookkizkil

You almost pissed your pants.
"HE ENJOYS MY PODCAST?!" you absolutely screeched from your desk into your hands over your face. What WAS THIS? Was it a dream? A terrible, irresistible, divine dream? Your favorite person ever, whom you were utterly obsessed with, liked YOUR podcast? You slapped yourself so hard it would burn. Why? You didn't know, but by God, you came to your senses.
"I gotta get down to business. I need time with him. Content or not, this is going to fill every gap in my heart that ever existed. Holy shit. I can't believe this." your stomach fluttered inside of you, the weigh on your chest became crushing, all at the same time. "Holy fuck. I'm gonna meet schlatt. In person or online, one way, or another."
-
cookkizkill sounds great!!! let me get some plans pulled together over the next day or so and we can discuss this further. :)
-----------------------------------
-POV: Schlatt. 12:53 pm-
"She finally saw, huh?" he muttered to himself. He sat at his desk while he uploaded the latest VOD, hearing his phone buzz. He just guessed it was her. His phone didn't go off much. Just Tucker and him exchanging wordles every day, and that had already happened. What else could it be?
-
cookkizkill
hi again handsome! I saw that you accepted my dms; what's going on!
-
Well that was a let down.
"She's not freakin' the fuck out? Jambo, what the hell is this? Bitches love me. Why isn't she spamming me gibberish?" he chuckled to himself, rubbing the cat's head.
"She makes some good shit. She's normal too. Unless she's faking it, then whatever I guess." he scoffed. "Maybe.. nah.
Fuck it."
his fingers diligently typed a reply to you. He carefully worded everything, in the event you decided to screenshot, or let all of your 5 twitch streamers what happened. He scoffed again. "The fuck am I even doing? I know I shouldn't.." he backspaced a few letters, his breath hesitating as he stared at his screen. "..What would 200 people on youtube do to someone like me? Nothin'. It'll be fine. Bitch probably won't even say yes."
He thought back to about 6 months ago, when he first read your message. You were a frequent stream watcher, donator, and you messaged him everywhere, all the time. He knew it was you, your handle was the same on every platform. You were unmistakable. Obvious. Incessant.
~~~6 mo prior...~~~
"Damn. She fuckin' likes me, huh?" Schlatt looked at ted and showed him one of your many dms, holding his phone out to him. They both let out a deep chuckle, having a few drinks with Tucker at the end of recording one of the few Chuckle episodes left.
"Yeah bud. Just like the other 13 women that watch you." Ted snorted, sipping. "I do think it's sweet though, y'know? All these people genuinely look up to us sometimes. Means a lot to me." He took another large gulp.
"Let me see!" Tucker said in a drunken stupor. "I'm a member of this podcast, by God! Fuck you!" Ted pat him gently on the back as he started hilariously laughing after yelling at Schlatt.
"C'mon bud, I'll get you upstairs. You know your wife is waiting. She went to bed three hours ago." Ted chuckled softly, smacking Tucker on the back as he tried to stand up. "BRB schlatt."
"Yea, fuck 'em. Fuck you too tucker." Schlatt drunkenly chuckled. He looked back down at the message he showed his friends.
"well, maybe.."
His thumb hovered.
He started to scroll through your Instagram. Photos of you, your favorite people, your cat, your car. You had a small black tabby and a shitbox of a car. You acted as if they were the best things in the world when you posted. Why? Grateful for the little things, Schlatt guessed. Maybe you grew up poor. Maybe.. you were just a good person.
You two were messaging back and forth for a few minutes. He let you know he didn't care about the money. You were a small influencer doing something he deeply respected: what made you happy. Now, it was all on you to get the podcast episode together. He would just sit and chat on it - no leg work needed. Easy money. Or lack thereof.
He went on your youtube. The only thing he kept up with was this. Vlogs, GRWM's (which he didn't particularly enjoy, but he wanted to see what you were all about) VOD's of the lives you deemed genuinely entertaining, recipe videos, everything.
"This chick's still got her whole damn life on the internet, huh?" he snorted in confusion. "The hell?" he glanced down at the very bottom of your channel, starting a year and a half ago. He hadn't seen this before.
"To the people who sparked my inspiration:" 15 min. 4 sec.
"Well, you got my interest sweetheart. I'll bite." he sighed with a small and unintentional chuckle. His finger hovered over the thumbnail of your sweet face.
Click.
"Hey guys! This will be one of the first videos I really get out there, but in the event I randomly blow up hehe, I needed to get this out!
I'm starting my freshman year of college soon.. I never wanted to go, but I know it's what I should do. I don't even know what I'll be going for. I don't really know what to do. One of my favorite people has a similar story - except he dropped out to follow his own path. I may end up doing the same. I don't know what my future looks like, but I do know I'm gonna do my best to GIVE myself a future, and to make it authentic. I want a community."
He listened to all 15 minutes intently.
You had him hooked.
Debunking Lily's "Behavioural Psychology Degree" with facts and logic (and a two minute google search)
Tumblr media
First of all, big ups to @skrinkskronk (EDIT: ammended the screenshot credit :) thank you to skrinkskronk for both the picture and the clarification!) as, without their keen screenshot button, this post could not and would not exist. You can check for yourself - the original ask no longer lives on Lily's blog (a fact that I'm sure many Lily defenders will have quite the opinion about - please see the questions section below! <3) Second of all: who the fuck am I?
Someone who attended university in Canada, that's who!
For real though: I have a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia, double majoring in English Literature and History. Does this mean I know anything at all about getting a behavioural psych degree?
No!
But I do know how attending university in Canada works. It is not at all as Lily describes. I'm going to largely avoid talking about the degree itself in this post - CrimsonEnder has already done the research on that and I highly recommend checking out his post for more information on why Lily couldn't even get the degree she claims to have studied for. Instead, I'm going to go forward as if we are in an alternate dimension where Lily made the far more believable claim that she was working towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Psychology.
Let's do a close reading, shall we?
And barely graduating is still graduating.
Starting off strong: this is a true statement! She's right, to get your high school diploma in the province of Nova Scotia, one must:
Meet the minimum number of credits requited for graduation, which is 18 (source: creditsforgraduationdiplomaen.pdf (ednet.ns.ca) )
That's it! (in my province we also had to pass a literacy assessment and do some 30 odd hours of community service. no, I'm not still salty about it 10 years later.)
However, passing is not succeeding. Lily has stated that she barely passed high school, did the bare minimum to get it over and done with. This is fine in and of itself. I attach no moral or intellectual weight to not caring about high school as it is by no means set up to let every child succeed. However, doing the "bare minimum" to pass does not open many doors for further schooling down the road. So, in order to pass a class, one must achieve a minimum of 60% - otherwise known as a grade of C. Assuming that for her 12th grade year Lily took a full load of 4 courses over two semesters, achieving the minimum grade that would allow her to walk the stage and get her diploma, she would leave high school with a 2.0 gpa.
Remember this score. 2.0. We will come back to this.
This is in Canada, there's no SAT's to take.
Look at that! 2 for 2 true statements. Canada has no SAT or nation-wide equivalent. Understanding this, in order to meet the minimum requirements for admission into university, one's GPA plays an extremely large role. For example, in order to even be considered for admission into McGill, one of Canada's top universities, one must have a 3-year minimum grade range of 85% (an A) and a final GPA of 4.0. Grades equal to or above this minimum do not guarantee admission (NO, I'm NOT still salty that I didn't get admitted). With a 2.0 GPA, Lily's application would have been tossed after a glance. "BUT BUT BUT!" I hear you say, "this is from one of Canada's most selective institutions! In a province Lily doesn't even live in! You're holding her to an improbable standard!" And you would be right! But this was just an example to showcase how university admissions function. Let's look at a uni a little closer to home. Let's even look at four:
Dalhousie University Undergrad minimum requirements: 75% or 3.0 (source: General admission requirements | Dalhousie University) )
Mount Saint Vincent University: 70% or 2.70 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Admissions (msvu.ca) )
Saint Mary's University: 70% or 2.70 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Canadian High School Curriculum Requirements | Future Students | Saint Mary's University (smu.ca) )
University of King's College: 75% or 2.0 with no individual grade below 60% (source: Undergraduate Admission Requirements | University of King's College (ukings.ca) )
She doesn't meet the minimum requirements for any local Halifax university or college with a psych program. However, if we are to be charitable, (and believe that Lily scored slightly above the true minimum of 60%) MSVU could have admitted her based on individual merit. From their mature students policy, we can read:
Applicants who present overall grade XII averages between 65 and 69 percent will be reviewed for admission on an individual basis. (source: Admissions (msvu.ca) )
I'm not going to pretend this isn't the case or couldn't be true or try to obfuscate it from her and her defenders.
... But if the rebuttal is so easy, why doesn't she say that?
You either graduated High School or you didn't.
I'm sure Lily did graduate high school. I'm certain she did so after putting in the minimum amount of required work. I do not believe that she has or ever intends to attend university in Canada.
Objections I'm sure this post will spark:
"skrinkskronk's screenshot could be faked!"
And I could have blue skin, but that is not reality. Rather than taking my word for the fact that this ask was real, the answer Lily gave was as shown above, and many people saw it before it went MIA, I instead invite you to consider something: asking Lily yourself. Go on! Ask her! In whatever way you find most comfortable, ask how she went to university for a) a degree that doesn't exist b) with a below-requirement gpa and c) paid for it with money she doesn't have. When she deletes your ask, ignores your superchat, or approaches your honest and genuine thirst for truth with hostility, I then want you to ask yourself why that is.
"Lily could have upgraded her scores at a local college before applying to university!"
Did she say that? Has she ever claimed to have done that? Or are you putting the right words into her mouth so she can easily go "Yup! that's what I did! Obviously!"
If she had done this (or had at least thought of this herself), why didn't she claim to have done this in the original ask? Wouldn't it be easier to just say "I upgraded later" than pretend that a measly 2.0 could get you into an advanced degree program? I have no doubt that Lily is going to recount her story and claim the above statement was true all along. "[She] just upgraded!" But I ask you to think on this, to really consider it: why is the story only changing after confrontation? If the answer is so simple and so obvious... why was it not always true?
"You say at multiple points that Lily could easily provide a rebuttal but she doesn't owe you or any of her critics a response!"
This is true! However, she responds to criticism all the time.
Her taking down Sai's streams is her responding to Sai's criticism. Her snarkily talking around Ant and his content in her videos is her responding to his criticism. Her answering asks from her fans (despite in her "rules" stating that she will not) filling her in on the goings on of her critics is a response to their criticism. A response isn't always the literal "and to that I say: blah blah blah".
If Crimson, I, or anyone else who thought twice about this situation were wrong: could we not be easily disproved? She is the one who (supposedly) attempted the degree. The records would exist. She would have access to them. She would not run away when challenged with a very easily disprovable argument. As much as Lily loves to protest that she ignores the haters and refuses to respond to criticism, that claim is demonstrably false. She responds to criticism all the time - she can't keep Sai, Crimson, or Ant's names out of her mouth while on stream, in her videos, or on her blog. If she had an easy win, she would take it. She has before. She will again.
Closing Arguments
I feel like I have adequately demonstrated that, even if Lily did apply for an undergraduate degree, if not the flashy shiny
Behavioural Psychology
that she claims, she likely wouldn't have even made it past the admissions stage. I don't want to say that it's completely impossible for her to have attempted post-secondary education. As stated above: MSVU could have admitted her based on individual merit.
What I do hope is that this post invites people think more critically about her claims.
What do I think happened with the original ask? I think some anon, the original question asker or otherwise, challenged her before I or CrimsonEnder did. This scared her and, realizing she'd been caught, tried to wash away the evidence before anyone else could trip on the lie. Sadly, that's not what happened.
If she did attend university, how did she pay for it? Is a 2.0 GPA enough to qualify her for a scholarship, grant, or bursary? A 4 year degree in Canada can easily run a person $6,463 per year, not including textbooks or other fees. Where did she suddenly get that much money? These claims are so easily questioned and disproven because Lily Orchard thinks her audience is too whipped and fundamentally too stupid to ever seek the information for themselves.
She does not respect you. She does not respect your intelligence as a human being.
You deserve better.
Sk8 ova runt bc even tho I dont talk abt this anime a lot, I still love it : under the cut bc spoilers
Tumblr media
He is silly, I think he might be my fav along with Miya
1) THE RENGA PIGGYBACK SCENE? WITH RAINBOW SHOWWING UP AFTER THE RAIN? EVEN NATURE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE
2) stsly their interactions are so wholesome
3) Miya being the best character, like, it is so obvious that he is awkward with friendship ( like genuine friendship), and even tho he can act superior it is very obvious that mentally he is still a child
4) Miya and Reki’s sis interactions isn’t something that I’ve expected, but know that I think about it, they clearly like each other and that is probably a s2 foreshadowing bc sis also learned how to skate at the end of sk8 so yeah
5) When Reki said that him, Langa, Kojiro and Kaworu should play karuta ( is that how it pronounced in English?) I got hooked up bc I would watch that
6) Matchablossom. Thats all
7) Not all. I was being sillay
Like, it is so obvious that they don’t mind communicating like normal people and they even go to the same places and have similar goals ( like at the end when they both ended up at the same skateboard shop), but fckers dont wanna admit bc of how prideful both of them are and how they dont want to admit losing to each other and being vulnerable like bro you go to the same trips, constantly walk together and say that you hate each other? Ok gayasses
Also they annoyed the HECK out of their school, like, them throwing things at each other including chairs and tables mid class and no one bats an eye
8) Did Kaworu do an Akira slide reference when running?
9) Them meeting young Reki and unnamed friend INSANE FANSERVICE
Also them saying that kids fight at the most stupid things while they cant stop fighting over ANYTHING
10) Kaworu saying that he is being bored and wants to do something serious. Hit a personal spot
Also thats when Kojiro acts seriously and actually agrees with him and they communicate? They can do it, and they do when situation becomes serious for some reason. Sillys
11) Adam is a freak.
12) Also just now noticed Adam having the same va as Dio Brando oooooh
13) Tadashi is so me I wish I could sleep until 4 pm “cries”
14) Why are they showing off Adams naked ahh body?
15) Shadow is silly he deserves love
Also him shifting between his creepy and silly modes is so smooth and doesn’t feel out of his character
16) also the final song! Not a dnd fan, but I liked how it was sung by Rekis Miyas and Langas VA’s !
Thats basically all if you read this far sorry for my horrible limited English have a great day
