headcanon that scorpius was a sick child and was in and out of hospital constantly, perhaps related to astoria's blood curse but not directly. his immune system isnt very strong, and everytime he gets sick they're terrified that it's the blood curse but also whatever else it could be, because it's always so sudden and so intense and they call healers over to the house who recommend this delirious feverish 4 year old is hospitalised immediately, and you'd think it'd get easier to some extent because they'd be used to it, but everytime they feel like this is it, this is the time he'll walk in to the hospital and not walk out again

Fucking nerd has had a very specific movement of a very specific symphony stuck in her head for days on end and it will not release her
#yesterday i finally remembered what movement and what symphony it was at least thank fuck#it was tormenting me that i couldn't remember if it was beethoven mozart or haydn#we studied multiple symphonies by all of them in my high school music understanding class#by the method of 10 or 12 influential pieces of music across the recorded range of human history that we studied all year#and every couple of weeks when we learned a new piece of vocabulary or compositional technique etc#we would cycle through them top to bottom oldest to most recent and apply that new piece of knowledge#so by the end of the year we had studied these pieces so intently that we could practically perform them in our sleep#one of the most enriching experiences i had in high school for sure especially taking it as a sophomore#i remember being so delighted by how much musical knowledge i had that none of my other musician peers in other schools did#because it meant that i got to have the joy of sharing it with them and watching the light go on in their head#anyway music and symphonies am i right#my ramblings

Sickening realization that I only have about 5 weeks left of college. Period.
Should be a good thing. It is a good thing, I guess. But it just means things are ending a lot faster than I'd like them to. And I have to start figuring things out Soon.
#speculation nation#head in my hands. i need to look for a job. i need to look for a new apartment.#i need to practice my violin pieces bc there is Not much time for me to learn them.#i'll be out of orchestra again in just a bit over a month. i'll lose my easy access to free bowling.#i wont miss the schoolwork but i will miss the comforting monotony of going to classes.#im graduating in a month and a half. i dont feel ready for it. 10 years in the making and i dont feel ready for it.#somehow. despite everything. i think im gonna miss going to college.#ten years. off and on as they may have been. but a consistent backdrop to my life.#who am i going to be after this? when i no longer have the long-term status effect of Enrolled In College?#no longer tied to this one location. no longer tied to requirements that were decided on by me years ago#i'll be able to do Whatever i want with my life. and god that's scary.#ive liked going to college and not having to worry about work as i do it. i wish so badly this couldve been my life the whole time.#i'll adapt. i know i will. i'll figure it out. and it will be a good thing in the long run.#but god. change is so scary. especially as monumental of change as this.

i thought i was gonna have to teach a full 12 family class this semester, which i've never done before, but a 13th family signed up last minute so i was justified in splitting it into a 6 family class and a 7 family class 😮💨 and 6 people exactly replied yes to my email asking if anyone wanted to swap times!! life is so beautiful sometimes
#i'll run a class with anywhere from 4-12 families#but 8-9 is ideal i think#6 7 or 10 is fine#but less than that and a couple absences means a sort of pathetically empty class#more than that and it gets hectic as fuck#and i Can handle a hectic class but. i didn't rly want to have to do it right after my six month depression hell hole :|#it's gonna be bad enough being so out of practice 😭 i'm gonna lose my voice and also be dying of exhaustion....#but probably not as bad as if i had to sing loud enough to be heard over 24-36 people#that 13th family saved my LIFE#and now i have room to add my wife's weed dealer's baby as a 14th family at a 100% discount ^^ life is so beautiful sometimes#silver.chat

#y'all do not understand#basically this class is the hardest in my major over half the students fail or drop out#there's like 4 hw assignments a midterm (25%) and a final (25%) (and some quizzes 10%) and each hw is worth 10%#only we do practice and the hw is like exams and we aren't allowed to talk to other students about the course material#it's extremely hard & specific & frankly the guy is way too harsh a critic to be a prof#that being said i messed up the labeling on one collumn but otherwise got a 98 which is crazy good#honestly in disbelief i cried so hard about that hw#anyways i'm going to bed i'm gonna be so screwed at work tomorrow it's fine#rose.txt

i've finally reached the part in the semester where we're covering the second law of thermodynamics. matt bellamy we're in it together now
#i post#no but in all seriousness it's super cool and i shouldn't make it out to be super hard because i should have confidence in myself#i'm also finally getting to use energy equations in a fun way (that E = KE + PE shit you probably saw in the last few years of grade school#you don't really get much use out of them in the first two sections covering simple kinematics and then EM#beyond them being slightly more convenient ways of solving problems#but they're obviously essential to thermodynamics and now it's fun#i still don't test well however but the prof is the gay tumblr user to my luke skywalker. he sees my chanel boots. he sees me throw down--#on the practice problems we do in class#so i have a chance at an A in the class with a really really cool extra credit assignment#right after spring break i have to give a 5-10 minute presentation on thermodynamics WRT my major#the most obvious low-hanging fruit is the color of stars (and if i can't find anything else i will do that)#but i'm almost tempted to try and find a hw problem in the book and do a whole thing on that#that way i get to show off the fact that i do know how to do math i just have a really poor memory lol#or maybe i'll do something on the future of the universe at the largest timescales-- like how all star cores will eventually turn to iron#or how black holes gradually dissolve#idk#but yeah super cool shit

I'm so nervous about writing an essay for the first time in two years. What if I do horribly 💀
#logically I think it'd be highly unlikely that I would do badly enough to not pass#and this is just one free standing class so the grade I get isn't actually that important#failing would be bad though because it would complicate things with students benefits next time I apply lol#but I don't actually feel much pressure to get an A or anything#but I'm still nervous because it's been a while since I've written academically#and I've always been better at doing in in english than swedish so that's another thing#(probably partially because I have more practice writing in english) (so I guess it's good for me to practice doing it in swedish)#anyways yeah. I've never written an essay that was anywhere close to getting an F#so even if this is higher level and I'm a bit rusty I don't really think it's likely that I'll fail#but I'm still nervous#I also know I won't get started until next week because of the taylor shows but I'll still have 10 days so it should be fine#I mean I'll probably take a look at some stuff tomorrow but yeah#personal

শৈলী: এটি পিস্টিলের অভিযোজিত অংশ, যা একটি দীর্ঘ এবং নলের মতো সরু কাণ্ড। এটি স্টিগমা এবং ডিম্বাশয়ের সংযোগ স্থাপন করে কাজ করে, যেখানে ডিম্বাণু নামক স্ত্রী ডিম্বাণু কোষ থাকে।
স্টিগমা: এটি পিস্টিলের অভিযোজিত অংশ, যা ফুলের স্ত্রী প্রজনন অংশের কার্পেলের উপরের অংশে বা গ্রহণযোগ্য ডগায় উপস্থিত থাকে।
পিস্টিল: স্ত্রী প্রজনন অঙ্গের ভেতরের ফুলকে পিস্টিল বলা হয়। এটি মূলত তিনটি অংশ নিয়ে গঠিত - স্টিগমা, স্টাইল এবং ডিম্বাশয়। এই তিনটি অংশই সম্মিলিতভাবে পিস্টিল নামে পরিচিত।
প্যান্টার: এটি একটি হলুদাভ, চার-লম্বিত থলির মতো কাঠামো, যা পরাগরেণু উৎপাদন এবং সংরক্ষণের জন্য দায়ী।
ফিলামেন্ট: একটি সুতোর মতো কাঠামো পৌষ্টিকের সাথে সংযুক্ত থাকে এবং পৌষ্টিককে তার স্থানে সারিবদ্ধ করে কাজ করে।
পুংকেশর: এটি একটি ফুলের পুরুষ প্রজনন অংশ, যা অ্যান্ড্রোসিয়াম নামেও পরিচিত। এতে মূলত একটি পৌংকেশর এবং ফিলামেন্ট থাকে।
পাপড়ি: এটি একটি ফুলের একটি উজ্জ্বল রঙের অংশ, যা পরাগায়নের সময় পরাগায়নকারী এজেন্ট - মৌমাছি, পোকামাকড় এবং পাখিদের আকর্ষণ করে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। পাপড়ির রঙ সাধারণত উদ্ভিদ থেকে উদ্ভিদে পরিবর্তিত হয়। কিছু উদ্ভিদের গাঢ় বা উজ্জ্বল রঙের পাপড়ি থাকে, আবার কিছু উদ্ভিদের পাপড়ি হালকা বা ফ্যাকাশে রঙের পাপড়ি থাকে।

একটি সম্পূর্ণ ফুলে চারটি ঘূর্ণি থাকে: ক্যালিক্স, করোলা, পুংকেশর এবং কার্পেল।
ক্যালিক্স: এটি ফুলের প্রথম এবং বাইরেরতম ঘূর্ণাবর্ত, যার মধ্যে রয়েছে সেপাল নামক একক, ফুলের গোড়ায় অবস্থিত একটি ক্ষুদ্র পাতা। কুঁড়ি পর্যায়ে, ক্যালিক্স সম্পূর্ণ ফুলকে ঘিরে রেখে ফুলকে রক্ষা করে কাজ করে। এটি ফুলের ঘূর্ণাবর্তকে যান্ত্রিক আঘাত এবং শুষ্কতা থেকেও রক্ষা করে।
