Yesterday was the Global Water Dances event in Perú. I remember being part of the initial team with Vannia Ibarguen in 2011, then leading 2013, the first year Rio Danza Comunitaria was born. Now in #GWD2017, Rio Danza has build a collective infrastructure in three communities led by Professional Dance Teaching Artists from the local community with innumerable amounts of volunteers of all ages, from elementary-aged kids, families, youth, and elders.
