Sylas: #BA6A65. Girthy enough you wonder if it hurts to walk. Had to have his armor specially made and it still wasn't enough, probably. Flushes an angry red when desperate. Better give him what he wants soon. Heavy balls

Eris: #CF8080. Also flushes a reddish pink but not as much as Sylas's (as everything between those two, yes this is a competition). A rather lovely vein running down the length of it. More on the slender side, curved upwards a little.

Carbonneau’s playmaking vision allows for his skating and handling to serve a larger play-creation purpose. In flashes, it borders on elite — he manipulates defenders with his hands and feet to pry open cross-ice lanes, looks off his target to force defenders to respect the major threat his shot poses, and consistently spots lanes that others don’t. Off the rush, on the forecheck, on his backhand, off the catch… Very few passing skills sit outside of Carbonneau’s scope of available plays. [...] The only real factor holding Carbonneau back from being a true playmaker — like Caleb Desnoyers, for example — is play-selection. The massive scope of available plays in Carbonneau’s game is both a blessing and a curse — with so many different options he can access, choosing the right one becomes a challenge. He can force low-percentage passes, deke himself into unfavourable positions, or most notably, omit simple possession-extending plays in favour of creating a flashier high-danger chance. In today's episode we're going to look at Justin Carbonneau. He's kind of a unique case to analyse because there's a lot of contradictions in his profile. So, he has a lot of egotistical tendencies in his game but at the same time he's a pretty great team player, a pretty great team guy. And the range of opinions on him is pretty wild, but at the same time he's kind of ranked at the same place by everybody. So, it's kind of a funny case to analyse. I never give a title to my video analysis on the players, but if I had to give one on Carbonneau's it would be The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Because when you pick apart any of his tools and his skill set you will have a lot of flashes that will make your eyes go wide, but also at the same time a lot of bad decisions that are just head scratchers.

It's definitely both a marriage AND fucking nasty. They're trading shit back and forth, they're an Ouroboros eating it's own tail. Lando is fighting for this tiny shred of control and Oscar is fighting for a shred of acknowledgement, and they just keep trading their debts back and forth.

They ABSOLUTELY fuck nasty about it on the regular, and they absolutely fight about it, tooth and nail. A little violent, a little sexy, definitely a little crying.

And both of them are nothing except the perfect little prey animal to each other I mean...what.

I know it's left partially ambiguous because repcomm is a series about emotionally constipated adults with no believable settings for them to really get into it but I feel like I can't get a good read on the nulls without knowing exactly how ko sai was tormenting them as kids. Yes there's the live fire training as toddlers thing but I want to know what their contact with her and other forms of kaminoan training looked like after kal took them in. There's some real fucked up possibilities revolving around the idea that the kaminoans essentially told kal "you want to keep them so bad you make them somewhat useful", and obviously kal had commandos to train so he couldn't dedicate all his time to them, meaning they were probably in kaminiise hands for the more basic stuff. Kaminiise who were looking for reasons as to why they shouldn't exist. If this is the case there's a really horrible pattern of instability that likely develops around kal "rescuing" them over and over again from their daily schedules, as in they regularly go back and forth from being live tortured for acting like themselves and being applauded for it because kal wants to give them space to breathe. I think this would explain kal letting them do whatever around kamino since he can't bring himself to be punitive to them and add to their building associations that existing how they are is a crime. I can also see kal fudging metrics for them to keep the kamino standard-managers off his back while still teaching them skills in his own way. I think this would explain their unorthodox tactician skills and their wider perception that kaminoans = pain and suffering and bullshit. As they grow up they'd learn to navigate their environments requirements better by way of ultra-competency, but it can't have always been that way. The irony of this is that such a high level of emotional environmental inconsistency is The perfect fuel to make any baby sociopath continue to develop in that direction. That backs up their complete rejection of authoritative structures in that they just can't take them seriously, and I think it also explains their more manipulative sides. Torture as punishment tends to numb children to consequences (while exacerbating fear responses obviously) and inconsistency encourages the brain to see socialization as a game to be played for objectives. I mean the possibilities for different personality disorder traits are kinda endless here especially as group roles develop (who's the scapegoat, who's more x or y depending on the amount of each thing affecting their sense of self, etc) but it overall makes me think in circles, cause we never have elaboration on what exactly went down.

I sure do love signing into a class and getting a video from my instructor aggressively insinuating that myself and my classmates are idiots because he was using a very specific definition of the word teamwork, that was not ever in the book we're reading from, for our last assignment. So far the course has been us independently reading parts of the book, uploading our presentations that are based on a bare-bones rubric then the instructor boomer yelling at us in a video about how we're idiots for not understanding the exact and unspecified definitions he has for things (oh and it all has the underlying flavor of that kids these days need to be more independent and to stop being 'soft' ignoring that this course is supposed to be teaching us things rather than confirming that we know things)
