we now have Ally’s gf!! i’m not really sure what she is, like a snake, ice cream, countryhuman? sorta. monster. lol

Cori doesn’t have much going for her in terms of story or personality yet but… oh boy she certainly has a history in my life… hah. i’ll go into that a little bit under the cut since it’s a lot. it had a big emotional impact on me so read at your own discretion.

i’ll keep this description as vague as possible for privacy reasons. back when i first made Cori, she came from a Deltarune rp game i used to play on roblox all the time during the same year chapter 1 released. (Checho’s Deltarune Roleplay, if anyone is familiar) there was another user i met who i used to do a lot of shipping roleplays with involving Cori and an OC that the other user had made. over time that user became a lot more… unstable, for lack of better words and things got really complicated and stressful for me. i was put into a compromised situation emotionally and i’m honestly grateful that things didn’t go worse than they did because i could have been put in a lot of danger otherwise. i do not look back on that user or those roleplays fondly and it stopped me from using Cori as a character at all for a long time afterwards. some years back, i redesigned/rewrote her so that she wouldn’t have that emotional tie to that time of my life anymore. the more i thought about it, the more i realized that she and Ally had a bit in common in regards to their shipping history. although Cori’s background is a lot more distressing than Ally’s, i thought it would be a great idea to pair the two together as a way to completely rewrite their shipping history and put their pasts aside. it helped me to come to peace with what went down and move on from it, painting both characters in a better light in my eyes than they used to be in. they make me much happier now :)

Diva wears her heart on her sleeve. She can't help it. Her mother's cantankerous, sad, and moody; Cousin Annie is a little wistful and melancholic even when she smiles and has a gift for Diva.

Dream hugged his side with one arm, which burned with pain, slumping against the toilet. Dizzily, he grasped the edge with his free hand.

The Endless are the wildly disparate children of two beings worshipped as gods in several cultures: a being composed of vast sky and stars, giving an entire solar system their night skies, and a being who exists out of time with the ability to manipulate it at will.

Dream leaned over the toilet, half expecting to vomit, but nothing came out; with a groan he slumped back down, hand over his queasy stomach. His elbow knocked into the toilet paper stand and it fell over with a clatter.

Dream closed his eyes, breathing as evenly as possible through the pain, and opened them again. "Come in," he called.  "Hey, Boss, I have the latest copy on the smaller grant applications – are you okay?" Matthew paused in the doorway.

There’s a power, an elegance, and an electric intensity to the  TRON Legacy franchise. The narrative of the TRON world itself integrates the tactile human experience with another realm where data, design, stunning architecture, and mood combine for a thrilling ride through a digital plane.   There’s a personal connection Munky has to the franchise. He spent a year designing the holographic world of the film, contributed to high-level concepts for the video game, and now the key visual and live-action campaign for the Lightcycle Run attraction at Magic Kingdom.

What was exciting for him is to be there along the whole collaborative and evolutionary arc of the TRON world. A new favorite agency Disney Yellow Shoes wrote a very cool script focused on typography and pacing, and brought Munkowitz into the fold to apply his aesthetic to the entire package. This point in the journey, particularly, really got him excited because it was truly the most cathartic and fully fleshed out manifestation of the story at immense scale and physicality; the characters, the environment, and the concept in an immersive experience that culminated in a total thrill ride.

To see the ride at scale and to strategize how to capture it was a fresh challenge. Combining that with the primary focus of telling the human story behind the experience, achieved through the same lens and focus on the stylistic flair of the existing franchise was an absolute treat to work on.
