Importance of Knowledge
I initially wants to make entire different theory about Plaid Princes rebellion but I am not in mood for now... I like to make an cpc theory post

^ there must be a very interesting reason over why Leland, the Plaid King, the main antagonist of the CPC deems that knowledge (all-knowing power) will be the most powerful kind - of power.
It's still on fanon theory extension, but with overall of his portrayal makes him such a cunning 🐍villain as even thou he could be sadistic and indeed has terrifying physical power, he believes that non-physical attacks to be the most painful kind to inflict others. He's abusing his own family not by usual type of domestic abuse as going physical BUT with clever usage of words and treatments. He rips the source of motherly love by distancing Isolde from their sons since baby, make his sons could be 'crafted' easier for what he plan - to matching Jack's girls interests with knowledge that he know as BFF. He manipulates his sons very clever to the point that they're not aware at all that they're in abnormal family, they believes that's just how the life it goes to be the perfect plaid prince 'charming' (embodiment of princes that will swoons Jack's girls in the future) and that's because he didn't do physical attack directly if could be avoided. He makes the way of princes lives is constant extreme choice of swim or sink, and treats them with "stick-carrot"
If I could borrowing other fandom, I take "Slyterin" of Harry Potter. The embodiment of cunning that very good with knowledges, they dislike brute forces (although capable to do so) and prefer to do things steathly. Words is power. Knowledges are power. Power =/= muscle
And as Slyterin house symbol is a snake 🐍 is totally enforcing me that Leland who wear his gala outfit as "serpent gambit" to be the perfect embodiment of Slyterin. Sylterin is very complex house and doesn't mean all of them are evil, they have hearts as well like normal human beings... But Slyterin key words are related to becomes non physical violence villain (anti-mainstream one in the typical battle series) and actually the hardest to break because they are armored metaphorically with knowledges that make them usually very clever and could thinks steps ahead to make their evil plan could happen, and twist accordingly current situation forces them
I won't talk about the examples as imho it's quite clear (although I give links to further reading for examples later on) but relating Leland as villain that using knowledges - the neutral symbolism of the snake/serpent is such powerful move by LambCat, makes him the perfect (sympatetic, relatable) villain in the comedy webtoon
Now let's move on to his son that looks the most like him, Frederick. I am reading his wiki page and find something that's very interesting
CURSE Doesn't have a real one but feels his inferiority among the royals of his family is akin to one - while not technically a curse, "his words could become true later on;" (Such a thing that if having knowledge awareness about it, become such a powerful move for overall entirety) also the least lucky character in the series.
Fred's "pseudo" curse making him as a revealator
An example of knowledge holder type of people, and if the one's aware about it could becomes a very powerful ability as it could "bends" the reality. The clear example is Fred's off comment that he majoring in administrative skill, which on the CPC current plot he used it to help his allies bursting in the pastel palace etc (his sudden knowledge about Aurelia's melting curse make that move possible). He knows the strength and skill of another (even if that's as a curse, it's turns to become useful power instead) - and it's very good that Frederick is a kind, good hearted person because this 'power' if say in thr hand of tyrant will becomes so terrifying and horrible
There's another example in other character, Nell. Nell is the resident seer of the CPC regarding random future bad omens. It's unfortunate that her curse not shown useful clearly for a war..but her death premonition about the death of CPC member becomes symbol of the CPC finally "heals-forgives" and could takes the next step
In summary about people with truths knowledge type: based on the internet there
Prophet is a teacher of known truth; a seer is a perceiver of hidden truth, a revelator is a bearer of new truth. In the widest sense, the one most commonly used, the title 'prophet' includes the other titles and makes of the prophet, a teacher, perceiver, and bearer of truth.
It's personal belief intake but for me prophets - related to religion truths and knowledges, as the messenger of the God of religion teachings BUT we won't discuss about it (as I respect anyone belief and religions) because we'll talk 'bout cpc
I feel there's no one that fits being a prophet in the cpc, but in term of the types means Frederick is a revealator while Nell is a seer
Leland is uncertain but I say he's the type that well versed in the knowledges but not on the kind of supersitious (Fred's) or magical (Nell)
He just truly brimming with knowledges, from anything and anywhere. His office brimming with thick books, so many times we shown him to reading a book - or newspapers. Leland is an example of booksmart and likely has very high IQ, but he's cunning and likely has low EQ with example how he didn't symphatizing with the cursed people as revealed in Gwen's dinner party
Leland is a very smart person but lacking the intelligence of the heart (which could be saying with everything that's going on espc what he do to his own family, making him a psychopath) and basically a coward about his own heart feelings. He knows that books, the window of knowledge, is very powerful.. He knows that if there's single entity to make him as the most powerful, is by having the omniscient clam because info=power

So, I get the theories about this have kinda tapered off, but I still wanna throw my hat into the ring so I get to say that i called if I end up beong right.
So, everyone is saying that Leland might be the serpent in Frederick's dream, but I think it's one of two possibilities. Either it's Blaine, or one of Frederick's bullies.
They would both make thematic sense. For his bullies, they're the source of all his trauma. He looks at everything with fear because of them, he never gets enough sleep because of nightmares about them, he has to escape the memories with books because of them, he can't even look at sunflowers, the flowers thay represent happiness and optimism, the flowers that he should gaze at with a smile and take as a sigh for better times, without having flashbacks of them. Those bullies didn't just ruin his life at school, they ruined his life for all that trauma and pain to culminate in this undefeatable, castle size serpent would make sense.
And the other option, Blaine. Sure, Frederick's father kind of put pressure on him and threatened to stab him, but Leland hardly ever even interacts with Frederick, and when he does he doesn't take him too seriously. The one actively abusing him is Blaine. Blaine is the one that regularly beats Frederick. Blaine is the one that treats him like bug. Blaine is the one that gaslights him into a spiral of self depreciation and guilt. Blaine is the one who's calls him a loser in the dungeon. Blaine is his abuser, not Leland. The force taking control of his life, and worming it's way into his very sanity. The force that's even infected the CPC, making them refuse to save him. Blaine being the serpent that wants to eat everything would make sense.

Random seemingly insignificant pieces of dialog that I think will end up being important plot points

THEORY:
The reason this version of the Doggyssey is abridged was because it used to belong to Lilith.

Since Lilith was unfamiliar to the language, she would have read a much simpler version of the book. The book was probably given to Frederick as a baby shower gift or on one of his birthdays. The Doggyssey then kick-started his love for reading. Frederick then gives the book to Gwendolyn.

Episode 157 Showdown!
There are no distinctive features on the wolf yet to tell us who he is but Gwen just ran into a room that is the same crystal room at Jamie’s art show. Clearly we’re getting to the part where Gwen had lied to Frederick not telling him that she knows he called her ugly.
Though I have seen a few hints to Leland being the wolf! And I think him heading up to Gwen’s room might be emphasizing that theory.
That fact that his brothers weren’t all that surprised and were like ‘of course he did.’ That says something, we need more on that.
Watching the CPC kick ass! Hella Awesome!!!🥳
Leland ordering his two sons to ‘get things under control or I will.’ Was a blatant threat towards them than the others! And they know damn well just what he’s capable of and what he’d do to them, especially Frederick!
Bullshit! Y’all expect me to believe that Blaine is really going to fight his baby brother with a sword! Bull Crap!
Especially after he and Lance beat the crap out of Frederick’s bullies at the gala! We still don’t know if they’re even still alive or not!
I thought at first that Lance standing up to his father first would help Blaine to stand with him against Leland as well, with all three brothers now standing against their father!
But that last panel is just screaming ‘emotional breakdown ahead!’
And though I hate to admit it, catching that spear was pretty badass.
#cursed princess club#cpc#cpc blaine#cpc frederick#cpc lance#cpc gwen#theory#emotional breakdown ahead#I know it’s coming!!!#And Blaine gets the hug he’s always needed!#I want to fast pass so badly!!!

Do you have any theories as to what happened to Jack's parents and the rest of the Pastel Palace residents seen in the "Lilyth's Diary" chapters?
I've seen some theories where maybe some big incident happened or they're no longer alive which is why jack abruptly took over... putting myself in lambcat's mind i could imagine them going like "oh yeah jesse and helena are actually on some big vacation because they didnt wanna be around lilyth lol" so MAAAYBE that. Or something serious actually DID happen. i couldnt imagine jack kicking them out because he seems very oblivious to the tension around lilyth but who knows... maybe they got into a fight... and jesse and helena just dipped...
#cursed princess club#cpc asks#cpc theories#whatever is im curious!!#lambcat about to resolve all plot threads in the remaining 10 or so episodes

I'm far from the first person to say this but there is a lot of overcompensating that goes on when communists oppose criticisms of specific communist figureheads. Stalin did not personally order the genocide of millions of people but he also wasn't the sole builder of socialism, nor was he the source of every good policy the USSR implemented. Same goes for Mao, Honecker, Lenin, Castro, etc. I don't think I need to harp on about why it's a remain of liberal historiography and ideology, although that should be acknowledged. Following in the same vein as this other post of mine, it constitutes a conscious and prolongued effort as a communist to adopt class, and more generally, a focus on the collective and processes instead of individual actions as the vehicle of your discourse. The better perspective with which to approach criticisms of a single transistor is to recontextualize it within the whole CPU that it's a part of, if you allow me the metaphor. You hinder yourself when you stoop down to the level of great man theory.
Lenin is a particular example because he tends to be great-manned both from the perspective of people criticizing and defending Stalin. He was neither a pure-hearted libertarian who was betrayed after his death by a conniving Stalin who hid Lenin's thought on him and who arrested/killed every other opponent, nor was Stalin a 1:1 replica of Lenin's positions but in a different stage of socialism. In both of these positions the role of the Bolshevik's party mechanisms and channels are completely ignored, as if it was a simple hereditary mechanism. In a democratic centralist organization, the Congress is the supreme organ of decision, and every office, from General Secretary to the base militant, is beholden to its decisions and has the duty to carry them out, as well as to contribute in its democratic process. Lenin was the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissar, sure, and the de facto "leader". The CPC was a mostly executive office, but like any other organ in the CP, it had a decided political role. The Congress is still the highest organ.
In the 13th Congress, when Stalin was elected to the position of General Secretary, there were 748 voting delegates. It is a misrepresentation of democratic-centralist principles to discount or ignore the vote of these 748 delegates. Lenin, as much as he was an important figure, was not the only politically competent communist, nor the only influential one. Never, even during the tensest months of the civil war or the underground work, was Lenin's criteria followed without criticism or input. He wasn't infallible or without fault, anyone can make mistakes or forget to consider some angles. This is also why Lenin was such a respected leader, because he did not govern alone. Stalin also governed like that, quite famously being skilled at listening to a discussion and being able to synthesize everyone's positions into a logical common ground. I am less concerned with what Lenin, at the end of his life, after two gunshots and a few strokes, personally thought of Stalin's aptness for the position, and more concerned with the opinions of those 748 delegates, all taking into account the discussions that took place in every lower organ of the party. What matters is that the party, democratically, elected Stalin to the position multiple times, and that his responsibility in leading cooperatively were proven competent throughout his tenure. Lenin was not an angel, nor the embodied spirit of revolutionary marxism. He was a very skilled and knowledgeable revolutionary whose words are not the gospel. The achievements made by Stalin's collective leadership (plus the entire party!) and the effective advancement of socialism are much more important than Lenin's opinion, as much as we can respect him. He wasn't clairvoyant

Incorrect CPC theories for funnies
Thanks to @the-giggling-guava for enabling to be deranged!
in nutshell, what if Plaid Princes truly confirmed as related to Monochrome somehow in the way of making Leland as the illegitimate child born from affair of either of Plaid Royal (either the yellow or purple's crown as "Leland"'s Parents - with someone that likely Monochrome Royalty?
Frederick: "Hey Blaine and Lance, you know that weird guy I met on the side of the road and camped out with? That burly yoga teacher that taught mediations at Gwen's dinner party? Oh also the same person that weirdly come in at the Pastel Palace to help me fighting Father? Yeah, he's our cousin."
Blaine: "Wait, I am related to that weird guy with such ugly face tattoo? I CAN'T ACCEPT THAT! Arghhhhhhhhh"
Lance: .... X_X (mind overload, can't thinking at all ahaha)
^ same expression but with Lance, this dude only has 3 brain cells and that revealation gonna fried all of his mind
Whitney: "....I always see Frederick as my younger brother - but I didn't know that's gonna be literal as we're somehow cousins... and that's make me get extra 2 cousins..."

So, there are three monochrome royals
And Frederick has three bullies
And then Whitney separated himself from the other two
And in the gala we only see two bullies

Maybe before confirmation from LambCat that portrayed in the CPC.. You could read this Tumblr Posts to make sense
Blaine is redeemable, and with comparing to Whitney - he absolutely can and deserve redemption.. maybe not as an arc but like something that helps his youngest brother Frederick
Remember Isolde talks to Blaine and Lance at ep 144?
Lance remembers his mother's saying and already cooking
I still don't have a theory that I'm confident in for how Blaine will redeem himself. I believe the hint is from Isolde's line: "The greatest heights you will reach will be from the path you forge for those around you."
A literal interpretation of the line would be that Blaine helps clear the path for Frederick to reach Gwen. And as the hint of foreshadowing that Little Prince = Frederick, so in order to reach Gwen (his lover) means no matter what Frederick need to have confrontation with the Giant Serpent - main plot of confrontation that LambCat herself say as foreshadowing
The tiniest prince: clear that's Frederick
The rose, prince's lover: likely Gwen
The (giant) serpent: very likely gonna be Leland
But, who's gonna be the narrator?
The biggest trouble imho, who's gonna be the narrator??? The narrator in my own take is the role of someone that very close to the little prince that in the story do 'ridiculous silly things' together that begins with the prince asks the narrator to draws him a sheep. At the ending of the story, the prince tell the narrator to stay away from him as he just got bitten by the snake and the prince afraid that snake will back to attack the narrator too
I feel it's in the way of making the narrator = Blaine
And as instead the prince 'literally' suffers as getting bitten by the snake while suushing the narrator to go away for safety, what if Blaine now do the brotherly act and put himself between prince vs the serpent confrontation??? Reverse role of little prince to make the one that attacked is the narrator
That act will totally redeeming him instantly NGL, no matter what's the execution be it literal physical (take a shoot, Mikey!!!) VS metaphorical (like Blaine gives the whole "reasons of why my father sucks") - as the oldest plaid brothers he could do one of the options, or do both??
^ if a gala is huge foreshadowing, that means Blaine and Frederick interaction is also foreshadowing of him redeem himself somehow in the big confrontation VS TGS
I initially imagine so many options for the narrator: be it Aurelia that now like Frederick annoying bigger sister, Whitney that grows to be impactful older brother figure, Lilyth that show hints of helping Fred escapes the prison... But it's just now that I realized, why the narrator can't be Fred own blood brother? If so Blaine could fits so much
Their actions as plaid princes doing balcony serenade etc could be counted as "do ridiculous silly things together". Blaine and Frederick cares each other so much in their weird brotherly way, similar with the relationship between the narrator and the prince... Thus making Blaine as the narrator could happen, espc as oldest plaid brothers he directly see how Fred grows up (akin about how narrator learn about the adventures that the prince experiences offscreen)
Just share some good times when Plaid Princes being DUMB
i find it wild how many people love Blaine, am i the only one who hates him??

My prediction for how Cursed Princess Club is going to end
There have been plenty of callbacks to previous scenes and one scene I am semi-confident will show up is this part of episode 77- Gwen's Portrait

This scene would be them hanging up Lilith's portrait

Probably fixing parts of the Pastel Palace since it's super beat up. This can also be related to what Isolde might be doing.

Maybe planning a wedding? Nell and Jolie's or Gwen and Fredrick's (the last one might happen after a noticeable time skip)

I'm thinking continuing Blaine's redemption arc since there's not much time to fully flesh it out. Also parallels to Whitney.

And then something happens a week later idk

if there is to be a revolution, when?
I had posted a pertinent Lenin quote a month ago:
I can't say for certain how long it will be until the next great crisis in American politics. It will probably be precipitated by the next big recession. The US is running out of tricks to extend its economic productivity without major structural changes. The age of neocolonialism is waning and the US military is becoming more of a joke every day. When the US is no longer able to enforce a neoliberal order on the third world, when the trillions of dollars invested in the military fail to return any more profits, the US economy will stop bouncing back like its citizens always expect it to, and when that happens there will be a major political reckoning for both Republicans and Democrats.
Without a disciplined and organized left-wing opposition movement, however, the only force that will exist to fill the power vacuum will be the reactionary right. So far, Nazi Germany has been the worst-case scenario for when an imperial power in decline is subsumed by reactionary backlash. The US is not really in the same position as Germany was; in many ways, Germany was simply attempting to do what the US had already completed in the 19th century via "Manifest Destiny" and the genocidal actions taken against the indigenous nations. The US reactionary backlash will probably instead be internally focused and result in a civil war.
It is important to remember that A) as the center of the imperial core, the US will probably be the last to turn socialist, and B) despite this, there is value to our organizing even when we're on the extreme fringe. The Bolsheviks and the CPC were both extraordinarily marginalized when they first began organizing. Mao started out as part of a group of only 50 communists when the CPC was first organized, but 28 years after this and 22 years after the Shanghai Massacre, the PRC was founded. The Bolsheviks were essentially bandits and outlaws throughout the dawn of the 20th century. Virtually up until the eve of the October Revolution, Lenin and Stalin were in exile. Lenin wrote the April Theses while in exile in Switzerland, and Stalin was in exile in Siberia until the outbreak of WWI led to his conscription.
Even when things seem hopeless, there is no value in giving up the struggle. The only mechanism for separating and distinguishing the vanguard from the opportunists and traitors is practice. Only through organizing in the real world and putting our theories into practice will we determine who is right and who is wrong, and only by organizing in the real world will we be ready when the crisis arrives to shut out the reactionary forces and lead a socialist revolution.

Online anarchists are cringe but so are online only communists that all post about theory but have no action that actually back up the working class. It's all easy when you both are just keyboard warriors.
the issue is that offline anarchists are also 'cringe', whereas offline communists are responsible for saving over a billion people from abject poverty and starvation. I'll inform the CPC that they should get off tumblr

what exactly does marxism-leninism-maoism add to marxism-leninism? i know part of it is the theory of protracted peoples war but honestly that seems like it would only work in countries with larger rural areas. this isn't me trying to disprove you or anything i just don't think i understand maoism. (i've also heard mixed opinions on abimael guzman from some people so i'm curious about him too)
That is a great question! The advancements of Maoism can be split into two main categories. The first category is the qualitative advancements with build on the core of Marxism, and mark the transformation of Marxism-Leninism into Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. The second is the advances which advance Maoism itself, but do not propel revolutionary science into a qualitatively higher stage.
In terms of the first category, three main advancements were made which qualitatively advanced the knowledge of revolutionary science along the lines of the three essential aspects of Marxism. These were made during the 3rd world historic revolution, that being the Chinese Revolution, up till the end of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. These are;
Advancements in the field of Political Economy: Chairman Mao Zedung was the first to seriously advance the study of imperialism beyond the great discoveries of Lenin and analyze Imperialism in it's modern Semi-Colonial form. This investigation led to the discovery of Bureaucrat-Comprador Capitalism and Semi-Feudalism, the ruling classes within Semi-Colonies.
Advancements in the field of Class Struggle 1: Following the analysis of Bureaucrat-Comprador Capitalism and Semi-Feudalism, along with analysis of both the RUssian and Chinese Revolution's, Mao discovered a crucial revolutionary stage for all countries under the boot of feudalism and imperialism, that of the New Democratic Revolution. The NDR is a national revolution against Feudalism and Imperialism headed principally by the Proletariat, in alliance with all progressive classes of society, including the national bourgeoises (For example the CPC-Kuomintang united fount against the Japanese, or the united front against the Tzar in Russia) The NDR must be completed before socialist revolution can occur.
Advancements in the field of Class Struggle 2: Another Key advancement of Mao was the discovery that, contrary to popular opinion at the time, class struggle continues under socialism. Under socialism new bureaucratic bourgeoisie emerge from within the party and state structure (following the principle of one dividing into two) and from remaining inequalities in society (following the principle of unequal development). Following the defeat of soviet socialism buy such forces and the rise of Khrushchevite Revisionism, and even the rise of such Revisionism in the CPC, Mao and the socialist line in the party waged a struggle against Khrushchtevite Revisionism and later internal revolution, culminating with the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. The GPCR targeted both old feudal and capitalist structures as well as the new bourgeoisie who promoted the capitalist line in the party, and pushed the development of socialism to its farthest point so far (which is why it the 3rd world historic revolution).
Advancements in the field of Dialectical Materialism: Mao's book On Contradictions is edental reading for any serious communist, it contains Mao's contribution to the philosophical foundations of Marxism. It puts forward key concepts such as the relationship between antagonistic and non antagonistic contradiction, differentiates between principle and secondary contractions, and the universality and particularity of contractions. Mao also puts forward in other works how contractions should be handled. Contradictions amongst the people vs contradictions with ractionares, and importantly contractions between the masses and the party, which is solved with the mass line.
There is also the topic of People's War, however that is a topic I personally do not know enough about yet in order to speak on it with any authority. After all, no investigation, no right to speak.

In one of your recent posts you made a distinction between Maoist and Marxist-Leninist-Maoist. I wasn’t aware there was a difference, I sort of thought Maoist was just shortening the whole term. Could you explain what distinctions there are between the two?
As I understand it Maoism tends to be more of a theory of revolution and protracted asymmetrical struggle against an established state enemy, with ideological and geopolitical thought that extends from the ideological lines that developed through Mao's tenure as head of the CPC through to the GPCR, and developed further by responses to Mao Zedong thought, especially by other guerilla groups that focus on organizing the peasantry. Notably, as I understand it Maoist groups while not anarchist often reject the idea of a vanguard party. So the communist guerillas in eastern India and the Philippines, for example, are Maoist, but not Marxist Leninist Maoist
Marxism Leninism Maoism is the application of certain aspects of both Mao Zedong Thought and also organizing innovations of the CPC at large throughout its entire history, including after the GPCR, as adjustments to what they consider to be contradictions within Marxism Leninism that the CPC managed resolved with ideological and organizing innovations (such as the mass line). However MLM is fundamentally democratic centralist like Leninism, and in terms of it's theory of revolution is fundamentally vanguardist (if indeed my understanding is correct)
