My mom had to take my dad to the dr w stomach pain and it turned out to be a gallbladder infection and so within four hours on friday while I was ASLEEP, NAPPING, she left a note and they went and ended up at the ER and he had literal surgery,

anyway hes still in recovery at the hospital and mom is with him, he's having some not great numbers w some of his blood levels and has been feeling rly rucky and had a fever overnight. but for now it doesnt seem to be anything dramatic/urgent beyond 'we are keeping him for observation and medication longer than initially planned'

Hello! My name is CK (26, NB, she/they) and, as you might guess, I’m looking for a partner (or two).

I’ve been back on my Spider-man bullshit for a while now but haven’t quite been able to scratch a very specific itch - I’m looking for a Dr. Otto Octavius to play against my Peter Parker, based on the Raimi Spider-man Trilogy or the Insomniac/PS4/PS5 Spider-man game.

I write exclusively on Discord in specially-created servers these days so please be comfy that! I write 3rd person past-tense, and can write anywhere from a few paragraphs to a novella in reply (though please don’t feel the need to match me!). I typically try to write replies every few days, but I also do have IRL obligations and personal health concerns that might get in the way of that. If you’re looking for replies every day, I might not be the best partner for you. I am definitely open to NSFW/kink/darker themes, but only after discussing both of our limits. If we vibe well, I’m totally down for having multiple threads at once (AUs anyone?).

I am always down and eager to chat/plot/screm/what-have-you. All I ask is that you be an active participant in plotting, as roleplay is a collaborative effort. If you feel your interest is waning or we just aren’t meshing as partners, please tell me instead of ghosting me. It won’t hurt my feelings, I promise!

I would be playing a trans Tobey!Peter/John Bubniak FC!Peter. In terms of plot, I have a few ideas for both verses, but would also love to hear yours as well. Some of mine include:

MCU Based: Post No Way Home, Otto and Peter are both yeeted back into their universe but find themselves a) back in 2004, just after the destruction of the reactor, aligning to when Otto was yoinked from the timeline or b) 17 years into The Future, aligning to when Peter was yoinked from the timeline. Shenanigans ensue.

Insomniac Based: Post-game, a repentant Otto seeks forgiveness and redemption for his actions. Peter is torn between wanting to believe he is sincere and give him a second chance (and potentially risking having his heart broken a second time) and struggling with his hurt and anger towards the man he looked up to and fell a little in love with.

Either verse: Gimme a Kraven hellbent on hunting his ultimate prey, an Otto who goes more than a little feral in response, and Peter who is in desperate need of a nap.

Either verse: Otto is singled out as an Anomaly by the Spider-Society ala Spider-verse, and must be removed to ‘correct the timeline’. Peter goes more than a little feral in response in order to protect Otto. (okay yeah it’s the plot of Across the Spider-verse but with Peter & Otto instead of Miles & his dad).

Either verse again: HYDRA takes a special interest in Spider-man’s superhuman abilities and seeks to acquire him as an asset, and Peter & Otto go on the run to escape them and unravel the mystery of the creation of the radioactive spiders at Oscorp all those years ago.

I’m down for fluff. I’m down for angst. I’m down for action. I’m down for hurt&comfort. We can mix-and-match any of the ideas above, or do something completely different.

Smash Tier List, Ordered By Which Characters Have Canon Last Names

i decided one fateful friday evening to make this tier list cuz i was bored. shoutout to the smash prose server for helping me iron out any kinks and retrieve some obscure information to help make this tier list reach its fullest potential (discord link for the server on my blog if youre on desktop or in my pinned post on my art account always b pluggin)

below the cut is some extra details on the tiers and character placements.

THIS IS ROUGH AS HELL!!!!! and the research and sources aren't very cut and dry throughout ;w; a tier list i wanted to make for the sillies that ended up going deeper than expected but not all the way, so it's sorta in a weird gray area of reliability. apologies for not-so-clear info in advanced 😔

Official Surname

what it says on the tin. i'd put detailed explanations of where all of them were "confirmed" but i don't know the nitty gritty of a lot of the characters and just know em from official bios. will provide detail if i see fit cuz its my post.

Byleth: "Eisner"

Joker: Civilian name is "Ren Amamiya", from the anime. Akira Kurusu is another civilian name he goes by, coming from the manga, however Amamiya is more common in official media (and kind of canonized in the PC release of Persona 5 Royal, where changing the language to English from something else will default his name to Ren Amamiya)

Kazuya: "Mishima"

Samus (And Zero Suit Samus): "Aran"

Fox: "McCloud"

Falco: "Lombardi"

Wolf: "O'Donnell"

Terry: "Bogard"

Cloud: "Strife"

SImon and Richter: "Belmont"

Donkey and Diddy Kong: So we all pretty much agreed that "Kong" is a family name :P it could be moved to the yellow canon-ish tier but idk

Peach: "Toadstool", which she signs off as in Mario 64 (So that's pretty canon right)

Generally accepted fanon surname (or exists in obscure non-canon media)

these are kinda? surnames. theyre not official like the ones above or acknowledged in the main source material, but they draw from some sort of source that fans run with. usually, it's common for multiple fanworks to use them as last names when dishing them out :P there could be multiple of these for each character. this is where a lot of handy guidance from the prose server came in, thank you very much once again!!

Mario, Dr. Mario, and Luigi: "Mario", from the live action Super Mario Bros. movie (also, "Mario Mario" is the funniest shit ever to me). Also the joke of "hey if theyre the 'mario bros', then is their last name mario?!"

Yoshi: Alright apparently in the 1993 manual for Super Mario World, Yoshi's full name is "T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas". Alright then?? I was going to put Yoshi in the "species" category, but this bit surprised me :P not sure if it's like, a scientific name or something, but I guess this Yoshi is a special case.

Ganondorf: I think in a manual or something like that (Forgive my vague language, this was just something I recalled that the people I worked with agreed with), he is given the last name "Dragmire".

Marth, Chrom, and Lucina: "Lowell" was a last name given to Marth in the Fire Emblem anime. With Chrom and Lucina being direct descendants of him, they also inherit this last name.

Zelda: "Hyrule" is generally assumed to be her last name. I'm pretty sure Zelda's father in BotW is given the official last name, though I know there's some different reincarnation shenanigans going on. Still, no one stopped me 😎 it's a common theme for a lot of "royalty" characters to be assigned a fanon last name named after their respective kingdom (though I may have overlooked some, we'll get to those later).

Ike: "Greil", named after his father. I thought it was kinda dumb for his last name to be ripped from his dad's first name but idk maybe everyone is on a last-name basis for him (I haven't progressed far in Path of Radiance to know).

Sonic: This one surprised me. Apparently in the Archie comics, his full name "Ogolvie Maurice Hedgehog". So his last name is "Hedgehog"? I suppose this means Sonic's full name could also be Sonic The Hedgehog, with "The" being a middle name :P

Captain Falcon: I was going to include this in "canon", but given that it's technically from a manual and other surnames in this tier come from a similar source, so might as well be consistent. In one of the F-Zero manuals, he's given the name "Douglas J. Falcon" (baller ass name tbh). In the anime, he's also given the civilian name "Bart Lemming".

Sephiroth: According to the Prose pals, it could be "Hojo" or "Crescent" depending on who you ask (idk I'll take their word for it. Yeah sorry this isn't a very thorough list in terms of research and sources).

Ryu: Another Prose pal said that one of the movies gave him the last name "Hoshi".

Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Heard "Koopa" tossed around, given Bowser is the king of Koopas and Jr. is his son.

Mega Man: "Light", after his creator Dr. Light.

Roy: "Pherae", after him being the son of Marquess Pherae.

King K. Rool: I think I assumed "Rool" could be his last name, and the K. is an initialized first name. Heavily based on my own guess tho.

No Canon Surname

Yeah. Though some are Weird and probably misassigned.

Snake I could have sworn had some kind of fanon surname, but I drew up a blank when consulting with the Prose server :P any hardcore Metal Gear fans can swoop in and correct me though.

Corrin and Daisy are kinda... weird to me cuz I assumed they would operate on similar logic to Zelda, being named after their respective kingdoms ("Valla" and "Sarasaland"). But I've never seen those used in practice so it's probably negligible. They bounced between tiers a lot while I made this.

I suppose Dragon Quest 11 Hero could fall in the "kingdom last name" category but idk I'm still internally debating with Corrin and Daisy. Didn't do any research on the other Heroes and no one seemed to stop me. So sorry!! 😭

The only other thing I have to say about this tier is that I'm surprised Bayonetta, Shulk, Olimar, Alph, and Sora didn't have any note-worthy last names to speak of. Unless something slipped through the cracks!

Idk if Sheik would adopt Zelda's assumed last name which is why they are in this tier.

Title, no canon name

Pretty much a title given to the character, be it related to their occupation or status.

This was originally a "no canon first name lmao" tier, but I changed it to be more broad at the request of the Discord buddies to include weird edge cases like Dark Samus (who isn't really a species, but not really a person?) and Duck Hunt (who accounts for three separate entities in one lol so that kind of confused me, but a tier like this worked for him).

Species????

Pretty much a character that comes from a species of many, meaning they don't really have an actual name to begin with (Inklings technically count, since it's not like "Inkling" refers to status or occupation). Yes, I included R.O.B. there due to Subspace Emissary's lore :) one could argue that's not canon, but be fr does R.O.B. have any existing lore to work with? Brawl essentially made him its own OC for the story campaign and that's amazing. Anyway, unnecessary rant aside, R.O.B. is a species in my book, and he's the last of his kind (another detail originating from Smash).

Last two tiers are kind of joke tiers I came up with as the idea for this list cooked up in my brain. One could argue "Mr. Game and Watch" is a title, but I thought his own dedicated tier was funnier so I kept it intact :P

This is perhaps an unusual form for those of you not on my Discord server to witness me in, but its very much something I've been struggling with saying almost since the inception of this blog. Because it is something that's been happening since the start. Those of you into my files and my captions should know I'm fine with a lot of things. Brutality, narcissism, arrogance, domination. Muscle growth that exceeds the bounds of Taboo. I'm fine with Raceplay and all kinds of shenanigans as long as it's consensual and between two adults. That's fine. Go all out in the name of kink. But I have to stress this and I will be saying it once and only once. If you are unironically a Nazi or a White supremacist, you are going to have to leave. Because the voice behind these files and the fingers typing out these captions are unequivocally not those things. I am a Black Queer man from the global south, and I'm honestly confused by how many Sw*stik*s and "WP"'s I see on some of your Blogs because surely you must have figured that out by now. I know this probably isn't going to be very popular, but lets just call it the straw that broke the camels back. If I lose followers from this or drop in Patreon then so be it, but its not something I'm willing to go into the new year having not said. I have very few boundaries and I've arguably crossed a lot of lines with my files and captions, but that's the one red flag(pun not intended) that I'm not willing to overlook.

Dr Sunflower is a motormouthed snake oil salesman, loving the sound of his own voice. Constantly spinning a yarn, you can never be sure when he actually speaks the truth and when he’s just pulling your leg. That’s how he likes it, keeping people guessing. Does he actually know French besides that one line? You can’t prove he does. He ever actually been to Europe? Who knows. Does he have a problem with cheese? Can’t be, since at least once he’s been witnessed enjoying a cheese platter.

Short Story: Song to No One

Note: An informal sequel to Sanson’s starring chapter/Day 59 in Passing Days, a cut scene from the original chapter, and a dedication to @teddog, whose Discord Server has been helping me recover from a lot of things.

The next time Sanson finds Vy sitting by herself, she’s leaning back on her hands, swinging her feet over the docks of the hangar of the Wandering Sea. The seawater barely laps at her bare toes as she sits there in her pink blouse and yellow skirt, sandals an arms-length away from her left hand as her gaze is pointed elsewhere. Unlike their previous appointment, half of her hair is held back by a very familiar lotus ribbon clip, glowing faintly against brown strands as she opens her mouth. 

“It used to feel like a fairytale—

Now it seems we were just pretending

We’d fix our world

Then on our way to a happy ending.

Then it turned out life

Is far less like a bedtime story

Than a tragedy 

With no big reveal of the hero’s glory.” 

For the four years Sanson has been summoned to Chaldea with Vy as his Master, he could never recall Vy singing like this. There were plenty of stories and footage to the contrary, of course, no thanks to all the summer shenanigans that BB in particular had caused in her attempts to bring Robin and Vy together during Chaldea’s voyage to Hawaii. But the Vy in those videos was louder then. Happier. 

Not so lonely like she was now, sitting by herself at the docks and singing to empty bleached air filtered through the Wandering Sea’s air purifier. 

“And it seems we weren't prepared

For a game that wasn't fair…” 

Sanson wasn’t even sure if Vy had noticed him approaching. She merely kept her gaze turned towards the ceiling of the Wandering Sea’s docking bay, glasses missing from her face and instead clenched in the palm of her right hand. Was she venting?

“Do we just go home?

Can we follow through?

When all hope is gone,

There is one thing we can do…

Let's just live!”

Sanson felt himself pause mid-stride when coming closer to her after hearing the latest high note of the song. By now, there was probably only a few feet between himself and the young woman he called Master, but hearing that one line, sung in such a quiet but steady voice, made his heart flutter. It wasn’t the same feeling he had when he was near Marie, Margaretha, or anyone else.

This was—

“Day by day and not be conquered by our sorrows.

The past can't hold us down,

We must break free!

Inside we're torn apart,

But time will mend our hearts.

Move onward, not there yet—

So let's just live!” 

Vy lowered her gaze for the first time since starting the ballad of her chosen piece, brown hair falling forward to frame her cheeks and cover her ears as her voice quieted to that of a whisper. 

“When it feels like there's nothing worth living for…

Everything is broken,

The light's not there anymore.

And the story

Takes an unexpected turn—

A friend is suddenly gone.”

A moment was all it took for Vy to pause the beat and raise her right hand to — to wipe at her face, just like back in the medical office, and Sanson shut his eyes.

“We can cry our lives away,

But if they were here, they'd say—

‘Go forward, you must keep moving on…’”

Even if I’m not Dr. Roman… 

Sanson took a breath and walked the last few paces he needed to stand at Vy’s side, bending his knees so that he could sit down right next to her. It was probably thanks to his innate Class skills that Vy didn’t notice his movements, and with one more breath, Sanson took a bet by taking off his coat.

“Let's just live!

Just one day let's forget our problems—

Let's fall in love with life,

And just be free!

The sun will never fade,

The night won't steal our day!

Let's laugh and dance and love and let's just live!”

Just like how Robin would’ve done (he hoped he was making the May King proud somewhere), Sanson reached over with his coat in both hands to wrap it around Vy’s shoulders, smiling once the young woman finished her song to stare up at him in shock. “‘Let’s just live,’ indeed, Master,” he whispered, leaning in to bump his forehead with hers. “Let’s just live together and figure things out one day at a time.”

I’m willing to try again with you. To not let you down just like how he did to the bitter end of the Incineration. Just to support you. Because you—

Once Sanson felt the slightly bitter warmth of wet droplets hitting his pant leggings, he allowed himself another breath as Vy sniffled. “E-Even…” she chokes, willingly leaning into his arms just as he pulled her into his side, “Even with all the Lostbelts?”

“Even with all the Lostbelts.” 

Shiny brown eyes reflect his image in a rather blurry fashion, but Sanson finds his smile widening once Vy whispers, “…Even with me, Charles?”

The answer leaves him without a moment’s hesitation. “Even with you. Because you’re you, Vy.” 

The tearful smile Sanson gets in return is worth more than its fair share of weight in gold.

Had some fun with my Discord server for April Fools Day, taking inspiration from @baenyth to change the theme from Danganronpa to Five Nights at Freddys. The channel categories are normally parts of the school - the courtyard, the library, etc. But yesterday ...

The whole thing started in a discord server where a crack AU of Charles and Rupert killing Galeforce and saving Green happened, but nobody stopped Dr V and she decided "Welp I'm a General now" creating General V and a whole list of silly shenanigans of giving power to a feral doctor that is an expert in cybernetics and with less morals then Galeforce.

During the silliness though, Browa wrote a really cool idea of Galeforce Red, basically the Toppat equivalent to Right Hand Man Green, where a Galeforce with cybernetics is rewired to protect the Toppats and the Space Station at all cost.

Canterbury takes up the missing General's position here and is evil. Dmitri and the Wall do join up with the Government, but Dmitri hates Canterbury's guts.

Nothing else really was made for this fine fellow lore wise, but after rereading the thread after I couldn't sleep a few nights ago, I got smacked with inspiration to play around with Red alittle.

I don’t want to flat out say not to delete everything since idk how much stress you’re getting from this but, I think I speak for everyone when I say we’d be really sad to see you go. I really love this little community, even beyond the fic stuff, It’s fun seeing all the shenanigans everyone here gets up to, and the crazy asks and your funny responses, not to mention the friends I’ve made on the discord server!

Tl;dr, you’re a really neat person who’s cultivated a really neat community, and we’d be sad to see you go

This blog still active?

//TL;DR: Semi-active and a lurker more often than not. I ended up writing a fucklong essay as a response, lmao, so I’m just gonna tuck that under the Read Below.

I’m busier more often than not, and part of the inactivity with the Tiger blog is mostly because of the lack of a fuller Punch-Out!! community to interact with. I’ve tried reaching out to other fandoms, OCs, and even the Smash community, but each interaction felt so isolated and in a bubble that I end up burning my muse out quickly. This doubles when I use up prompts.

My RP style, I come to realize, works best with a thriving community that interacts with each other even if I’m absent, with constant storytelling that gives us motivations to meet up, catch up, solve problems, and feel alive. For the most part nowadays, you’ll find me RPing in WoW as a Storyteller, as not only can we RP in real time, but I can watch others interact and feel more of a community to merge into. Some years ago, the Punch-Out!! community had that--I was the resident Great Tiger, there were a handful of Macs, Joes, and Arans, we had a Don, we even had a Carmen. Folks would come to Tiger for shenanigans usually involving him being a shitlord showboat around them, or just for nice hangouts. Hell, some of the best interactions I’ve had often involved pushing Tiger into romance despite being asexual and averse to relationships, or when there was a story thread going on. Alas, not everyone can put the time and energy in RPing a thread like I do, and people run out of muse for good. And that’s perfectly fine and valid. Fads come and go, interests change, people outgrow, graduate, get work, get married, etc. Life moves on. I’m still in contact with some RP buddies and I still check out their blogs on Tumblr. Myself? I mostly lurk nowadays on other people’s RP blogs just to see how they’re doing because I still enjoy watching other people interact. And if I do actually RP, it’s likely going to be on @peppy-pilot​, as the Star Fox community is still fairly thriving.

I can, however, be more active when there are people to be active with.... but frankly, I can’t RP in an isolated bubble via one-on-one threads anymore. I need a community. I want to sit at tables and watch my colleagues talk about their recent date gone back. I want to have a poker game wherein we all yell on top of our lungs over who is cheating or not. I want casual hangouts in the gym where we throw barbs at each other while sparring or just exercising. And no, I’m not talking ships and coffee dates and happy endings AU where nobody is anyone’s enemy--they feel obviously constructed, lifeless, inorganic, and frankly, boring. Most RP I see within Tumblr (so not just Punch-Out!!) are very heavily involved shipping, interactive fix-fics, and isolated incidents that go nowhere, especially AUs where continuity doesn’t matter. I’m not slamming on those who enjoy them, though. You do you. And I did enjoy them for a time. But when that is all I have for RP, then I lost interest fast as I am taken out of the element wherein I join the RP to begin with: living the life of an Indian boxer capable of magic.

There is also the fact that few people will put as much effort into how I RP and it frustrates me. I have nothing--absolutely nothing--against people who only want short, sweet, shitposty funtimes; they’re fun too. But sometimes I want something well meaning that brings genuine character development. And sometimes... people don’t care about Tiger being more than a magical handsome Hindi-speaking boxer in a turban. And that’s fine--because in the end, in Nintendo canon, that’s all he really is. Sadly, past experiences with some RP here often don’t try to explore the humanity in our interactions beyond ships and other superficial scenarios. It gets tiring. 

And the same applies with my partners as well. If I’m going to interact with a Don Flamenco or an Aran Ryan, for instance, I don’t just want our interactions entirely be about Carmen, potatoes, and cheeseburgers. Give me a peek into Don’s life under Francisco Franco, or what Aran thinks about the Troubles. Give me Don’s opinions of Spain’s historical fascination of France and how it shaped Madrid today. Give me Aran’s thoughts on why he’s speaking English when he could be speaking Gaelic. No? Too hard? Too much history? Too much research to do? You just want to focus RP and interactions with Don using eyeliner and Aran having McDonald’s? Fine, go ahead, you can have your fun, I give you my blessings. But know that, in contrast, it’ll feel like my countless, countless hours of researching Sikh and Mumbaikar culture, hand and head gestures, understandings of the English language, fashion, Mumbai’s city demographics and layouts, the impact of the 1984 Sikh Massacre, and making Great Tiger a living and breathing person beyond memes would be absolutely complete waste of time.

I am not dissuading anyone from interacting with me if all you want to do is silly fun shitposty shenanigans. Those are fun, we can do it. But I will be absolutely upright and upfront in that I might get bored with that quickly, and if you panic at the idea of trying to keep up with me, just so you can have quality Great Tiger interactions, stop right there. It’s just roleplay. It’s supposed to be fun. And I am not your be-all-end-all person for all your Great Tiger needs. Don’t force yourself into something you will not enjoy. I will never forget about the time I have accidentally discouraged people from roleplay because I took the moment to tell someone that you should not mistaken turban-wearing Indians for Muslims. I am fully aware I intimidate people, but that is mostly because I’m a culture/history nerd who has been reading, writing, and creating since the 90s. I just have more experience under my belt and my RP needs are a reflection of that. If you’re absolutely new, hit me up. Hello! My name is CK (26, NB, she/they) and, as you might guess, I’m looking for a partner (or two).

I’ve been back on my Spider-man bullshit for a while now but haven’t quite been able to scratch a very specific itch - I’m looking for a Dr. Otto Octavius to play against my Peter Parker, based on the Raimi Spider-man Trilogy or the Insomniac/PS4/PS5 Spider-man game.

I write exclusively on Discord in specially-created servers these days so please be comfy that! I write 3rd person past-tense, and can write anywhere from a few paragraphs to a novella in reply (though please don’t feel the need to match me!). I typically try to write replies every few days, but I also do have IRL obligations and personal health concerns that might get in the way of that. If you’re looking for replies every day, I might not be the best partner for you. I am definitely open to NSFW/kink/darker themes, but only after discussing both of our limits. If we vibe well, I’m totally down for having multiple threads at once (AUs anyone?).

I am always down and eager to chat/plot/screm/what-have-you. All I ask is that you be an active participant in plotting, as roleplay is a collaborative effort. I would be playing a trans Tobey!Peter/John Bubniak FC!Peter. In terms of plot, I have a few ideas for both verses, but would also love to hear yours as well. Some of mine include:

MCU Based: Post No Way Home, Otto and Peter are both yeeted back into their universe but find themselves a) back in 2004, just after the destruction of the reactor, aligning to when Otto was yoinked from the timeline or b) 17 years into The Future, aligning to when Peter was yoinked from the timeline. Shenanigans ensue.

Insomniac Based: Post-game, a repentant Otto seeks forgiveness and redemption for his actions. Peter is torn between wanting to believe he is sincere and give him a second chance (and potentially risking having his heart broken a second time) and struggling with his hurt and anger towards the man he looked up to and fell a little in love with.

Either verse: Gimme a Kraven hellbent on hunting his ultimate prey, an Otto who goes more than a little feral in response, and Peter who is in desperate need of a nap.

Either verse: Otto is singled out as an Anomaly by the Spider-Society ala Spider-verse, and must be removed to ‘correct the timeline’. Peter goes more than a little feral in response in order to protect Otto. (okay yeah it’s the plot of Across the Spider-verse but with Peter & Otto instead of Miles & his dad).

Either verse again: HYDRA takes a special interest in Spider-man’s superhuman abilities and seeks to acquire him as an asset, and Peter & Otto go on the run to escape them and unravel the mystery of the creation of the radioactive spiders at Oscorp all those years ago.

I’m down for fluff. I’m down for angst. I’m down for action. I’m down for hurt&comfort. We can mix-and-match any of the ideas above, or do something completely different.
