You just activated a FSIT. A Former Special Interest Trap.

I have so many teddies, I used to do birthday parties for them, and all of them have names and vague personalities. I have over 20 beanie boos - those ones with the big sparkly eyes, several bears.

We have an entire royal family - Walcot (named after a football player, don't ask me why), Alexandra, Doodles (made from an old pencil case) and Fluffy (a red panda, while the rest are dogs).

We have several couples, including one that must've involved a divorce somewhere, at least one wedding, several versions of gameshows with my brother and mum done solely with teddies (they were so much fun, and impressively elaborate. We literally wrote songs for a teddy version of Eurovision). We have different bands (Big Bone Rapperpillars for life), me and my brother both made a series of comics about our teddies (mine definitely wasn't a copy of his nooo).

But my favourite are my two newest, both crocheted by my irl best friend. They're a dalek, and a mini Cubfan and I love them so much.

Not an ask of any kind, I'd just like to mention that Brainrot Dead Tired has taken over, and now when I think of Rock Alt Danny, I picture Tim Drake as his biggest fan.

Oh, yes, he totally is.

Tim listens to all the songs, some of them on repeat. He has the unofficial merch (because neither Danny nor Ember bothered to make anything official, it's too much trouble). He fanboys over Danny because whatever short video recordings he can find, all feature Danny being a cheeky but friendly-teasing brat, and Tim loves the vibe. And the looks. Definitely the looks.

It's kind of a celebrity crush, only Ember's band is not that popular to be actual celebrities.

And then Bruce comes home, and Tim reviews the footage and has an honest to god heart attack at the sight of Danny and Ember performing in the Watchtower in order to get rid of the alien invasion.

He is going to stalk John motherfucking Constantine until he gives Tim the means to contact Danny. He has no idea what he is going to do with it, but he needs it.

My favorite Zutara head canon that can work both romantically and platonically (and I actually think is better platonically) is that Zuko never stops clinging to Katara in social situations like a terrified puppy. Like the Ember Island Players seating situation dialed up to 10. Just imagine Fire Lord Zuko at 40, a well respected and competent leader of his nation, known for his inspiring speeches and his masterful command of policy, following Ambassador Katara around at social political engagements because he never figured out how to socialize alone, and she’s so good at it.

She doesn’t mind because he’s her best friend obviously, but the others do laugh at him behind his back (and sometimes to his face).

Ghostly Host AU

So! Ghosts need a physical Anchor in the living world, or they are liable to fall apart and fade away if they stay for too long.

In Amity Park, this usually isn't too much of a problem. Sure most Ghosts can't stay for a week without a Host, but the ambient Ecto-Levels in Amity Park are enough that they can stay for a few days or so at a time with little worry.

This changes however, during Reign Storm.

When Pariah Dark awakens, Tens of Thousands of Ghosts use the Fenton Portal to escape the Rule of Pariah Dark, running away into the Human Realm.

If Amity Park had stayed where it was, this would have been fine. They could have stayed in the Living Realm for a few days, and maybe the Weaker ones would need to find a temporary Host, but that was fine since Amity was filled with thousands of Liminals.

Unfortunately, Pariah Darks first move was to suck Amity Park into the Ghost Zone, alongside all of the Ecto-Energy that had accumulated there.

Now left trapped in the Living Realm with no way back to the Zone, thousands of Ghosts suddenly needed Hosts or they would start dying off by the Hundreds. In a Panic, they spread out across the Planet in search of viable Hosts.

Any normal Person wouldn't do, they needed a Living Being that could actually handle their Power, or someone who matched their Soul. Preferably both. Liminals were the best since they had a durable Body and a Malleable Soul, so any Ghost could use any of them as a Host.

But outside of Amity Liminals were very rare, and finding someone who matched their Soul was time-consuming and hard. Thankfully, in recent years the population of Aliens, Metahumans, Enhanced Soldiers, and even extra durable baseline Humans had spiked across the world.

All across the planet, People suddenly found themselves stuck with a new Passenger in their Bodies.

Those new passengers thankfully weren't malicious, for the most part, but it was still annoying. The only good thing was that they now had new Powers, which neat.

They could summon the Ghosts in their Body outwardly, and then command the Ghost to use their Powers in whatever way they wanted. Only other Hosts could see another person's Ghost, which meant they looked very awkward to normal people when they fought. Generally, Hosts seemed to act more strangely after getting a Ghost, as if they lost a few of their Inhibitions.

Why did they feel the sudden need to strike a flamboyant Pose? Or over dramatically scream?

So this is thanks to a friend showing me phantom justice on ao3 but Ember and Danny used to date but broke up and he starts dating Cass so Ember finds out and things happen

(Hmm, I don't care for the ship but I think this would be interesting :3)

Ember eyed the other girl with a cool gaze. Danny bristled next to her, doing a strange jerking motion, ready to defend his new girlfriend but also hesitant to attack Ember.

Cass stared at Ember back, looking relaxed.

Ember sniffed. "So you're Danny's new girlfriend? I'm surprised."

Cass tilted her head. Danny scowled. "It's none of your business, Ember!"

Ember glared at him. "Shut up! I wasn't talking to you!"

"I won't let you antagonize Cass! She's not involved in our business!" Danny said stubbornly. But the moment Cass brought up a hand, he immediately closed his mouth, abashed.

Ember's frown became even deeper and both girls stared at each other for a moment longer.

Then Cass bowed her head slightly and said, "I'll take care of him. You have my word."

Ember's eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean?"

"Ghosts may be hard for me to read, but I can still see. He will be cared for," Cass said calmly.

Ember relaxed slightly, but lifted her head away haughtily. "He better be."

Both girls shared a small smile, finally satisfied about the situation, their worries eased.

Danny blinked several times, looking between them. Confusion was all over his face.

"Wait, what? What are we talking about?"

The funniest thing about the boiling rock episodes is zuko telling sokka at the start how this prison houses the most dangerous and notorious criminals of the fire nation as well as war prisoners, and then at the end they just let one of them tag along without ever asking him what he was in for. Could have brought a serial killer to meet the fucking avatar and they'd be none the wiser
