CHAPTER ONE
as she stepped out from the darkness of the theatre and into the bright sunlight, y/n had only two things on her mind - paul newman and a ride home. paul newman is a good looking guy, and the only real attractive person around her is sodapop curtis, and she wouldn’t even think of sodapop like that.
in her opinion, sodapop was the best looking from the gang. he had a perfectly set jaw with a movie star smile and golden brown hair, he was basically perfect. all the curtis brother were good looking. darry was a big muscular guy, with a real hard face, but it made him look good, he was an attractive looking guy.
ponyboy however, she didn’t like him too much because he didn’t like her, so she tried not to get his looks mixed up with his personality. even though he had that curtis charm, he was still horrible to her.
the movie was great, but her friends didn’t think so. they were socs, and they weren’t too fond on the idea of sports or anything like that, let alone pool.
she wished she had better friends to go to the movies with. the only films her friend grouped liked were the summertime beach ones or romance, so she had to really beg them to come see ‘the hustler.’
conveniently enough, ponyboy was in the same screening as her, and was just a couple of steps ahead of her. ‘i’m gonna walk home with ponyboy is that alright with you guys?’ her friends glanced past her for the boy, making sure she wasn’t just ditching them after eating their popcorn. ‘yeah go ahead, we’ll see on you monday!’
she was left with a chorus of goodbyes as she walked away, catching up with ponyboy. ‘hey pony!’ his pace slowed a bit, peeking behind him slowly incase it was a soc.
she really wishes she didn’t have to do this, but it was scary being a greaser girl walking the streets alone, and it was even worse having dallas winston as your brother.
he stopped in his tracks, leaning against the wall beside him and waited for her. he rolled in eyes at her presence, wishing she could’ve just kept to herself and not bothered him.
when she finally caught up to him, they didn’t even glance at eachother, but they both knew it was safer to walk together then alone. it wasn’t even a minute of walking in silence before they were joined by a red corvair beside them on the road filled with socs.
‘just stay quiet and walk faster.’
the car trailed beside for a bit, whistling and hollering at the two walking. they eventually reached their breaking point and a whole bunch of them got out of the car, looked like five or six of them to y/n.
they kept walking, and even though they kept their mouths shut, they both knew they were both thinking about what happened to johnny a few weeks prior. she didn’t carry a blade and she knew ponyboy didn’t either, it would just give the cops more of a reason to separate him and his brothers, so as of right now - they were screwed.
the group of socs surrounded them, smirking at the situation they were in. ‘hey grease.’ they all laughed at that opening line, like some sort of unfunny inside joke.
she tried to remember their faces, but she could only name two of them - bob sheldon and randy anderson, who were the most soc people you could come by. they were all dressed well and cleanly shaven, but there was something about them that seemed dirty. like they had the most foul personalities on the planet and disgusting smug grins.
‘we’re gonna do you a favour, greaser. we’re gonna cut all that long greasy hair off.’ she could feel ponyboy tense up from beside her, and she knew all the boys treasured their long hair greatly.
there was one soc in particular, who’s about two grades above her in school who always has his eyes on her, he was big enough to pin her down, and she really didn’t like the way he was looking at her right now either.
she zoned out on what they were saying and tried to look for a way to get out. there was nothing. she only realised how deep shit they were in when a medium blonde guy pulled a knife from his back pocket and flipped it open, staring at ponyboy. she could feel him back up, straight into one of their chests.
they all ganged up on him, so she took that as her chance to get away and find a broken pop bottle or something. she remembered the time steve held off a couple of guys with one, she couldn’t only hope she would have the same luck.
unfortunately, a big one grabbed the hood of her jacket, pulling her to the ground. she tried to crawl away, but two of them got her by the ankles and pinned her on her back.
ponyboy’s pained cries echoed in her ears, she tried to block out the sound and close her eyes, but the guy on top of her was so close it was hard to focus on anything else.
his hand undone the first button on her shirt and he smirked, until she got one of her hands free and socked him right in the eye. she didn’t feel anything after that, but she could tell she was free and immediately rolled onto her hands and knees, pushing herself up from the floor.
she felt like vomiting, and her heart was beating so fast she could feel it through her chest. everything made her dizzy but she couldn’t sit back down and make a big deal of it, she had to man up.
the clothes were dirty and her hair was all over the place. she looked at the car the socs left in, and she just prayed they weren’t gonna do what she thought they were gonna do to her.
she glanced over at pony, who was still sprawled out on the ground with sodapop hovering over him, trying to sit him up straight. she couldn’t hear what he was saying, and she honestly didn’t want to.
johnny came up beside her, and they watched as the gang chased after the corvair or helped ponyboy ease up. she was grateful it wasn’t her who had the blade pulled on her.
‘you alright?’ he asked quietly, watching as her gaze shifted around awkwardly. ‘yeah i’m fine. i didn’t have no blade on my throat.’
she sent him a small smile as thank you
she kept her eyes on pony, who was still shaking like a dog and looked on the verge of tears while being held by soda. his neck was bleeding real bad and he had blood smeared on his cheek, but no one said anything - probably because the gang thought it looked tough.
steve appeared at her other side, clapping her on the back and wiping dirt off her jacket. ‘they didn’t getcha too bad, did they y/n?’ his concern made sodapop look over to her, which led the rest of the gang awaiting her answer.
‘i said i’m fine, honest. y’all should be worrying about ponyboy, not me.’
two-bit swung his arm round her neck, dragging her towards the curtis house as he did so. ‘but you’re like our very own kid sister! we gotta worry for you too.’ she lightly chuckled at his words, and laughed harder once he started ruffling her hair.
two could be a real piece of work sometimes, and with y/n he was even worse. many people who didn’t know them too well thought two-bit was her brother instead of dally, but dally made sure it was a known fact they were siblings.
the curtis brothers who were trailing behind them only questioned pony, deciding against laughing with everyone else. ‘easy ponyboy, they ain’t gonna hurt you no more. either of you.’ soda claimed, poking her in the back. darry placed a hand on her shoulder in agreement to his brother.
‘i don’t want anyone walking by themselves no more, especially you three.’ darry gestured to y/n, ponyboy and johnny, who all nodded in response - yet they all knew his demands were mere suggestions. ‘it’s just too risky and dangerous, and i sure as hell ain’t bringing any of y’all to the hospital.’ the man continued.
‘hey you won’t ever be bringing y/n cause there’ll be no need. my sister is as tough as nails.’ dally came by, giving a heavy shove to the girl and pushed her from the footpath. ‘i didn’t know you were out of the cooler yet dally.’ she spoke, regaining her balance and joining the group once again.
she couldn’t even remember what he was in for this time, but it mustn’t have been too bad if he was let out early.
he waved his hands around to grab her attention with a cigarette in his mouth, before taking it out and blowing the smoke out. ‘good behaviour. got out early.’ he passed the cigarette to johnny, and soon enough they were all smoking the same blunt - all except y/n.
‘hey i gotta split.’ two-bit said as he walked toward his old, beaten up piece of junk. ‘get over here and give me a push start!’ both y/n and johnny got behind the trunk of his car, and began to push once he started the engine.
‘see ya guys later!’
y/n sighed as she watched two-bit drive away in the evening sun, and now she was ready to go home and fall fast asleep in her warm bed. ‘i better go aswell, jan would want me home by now.’ she started, saying goodbyes to each of the boys. ‘let me walk ya, can’t go by yourself again.’ dally said, falling in line with her steps.
as the two siblings walked home in comfort, the curtis house was quiet enough. soda had finished giving darry a massage and now they were all in bed, trying to calm down after what happened to the youngest of them.
ponyboy lay alongside his brother sodapop, who he thought was asleep by now. ‘soda?’ ponyboy wasn’t even sure he was awake, but he was no way near tired himself. ‘yeah?’ his brother answered quietly.
‘how come you dropped out?’
there were often random things that ponyboy thought about when his mind couldn’t stop racing, and this was one of them. he also wondered what his life would be like with his parents, without y/n, and with more y/n - but he told himself not to think about that one.
he could hear sodapop sigh before responding. ‘ ’cause i’m dumb. the only things i was passing anyway were auto mechanics and gym.’ pony rolled his eyes at his brothers naiveness.
‘you’re not dumb.’
‘yeah i am. shut up and ill tell you something. don’t tell darry though.’
ponyboy propped himself up on one arm, looking down on soda to hear his words. sodapop always had the best news in town, working in the dx made him that way.
soda shot him a smile, before rolling over to his back. ‘i think i’m gonna marry sandy. after she gets out of school and i get a better job and everything. i might wait till you get out of school, though. so i can still help darry with the bills and stuff.’
the brunette boy leaned away, soaking in his brothers words. ‘tuff enough. wait till i get out, though, so you can keep darry off my back.’ he absolutely dreaded the day soda leaves.
‘don’t be like that kid, i told you he don’t mean half of what he says.’
ponyboy laid flat on his back once more, pondering what to say next. ‘you in love with sandy? what’s it like?’
he dreamt of having a sandy for himself. someone really pretty looking who loved and cared for him. he could hear sodapop sigh happily. ‘it’s real nice.’ the reply lingered in the air for a moment before soda turned and faced ponyboy.
his eyebrows were scrunched and a teasing smile played on his face. ‘why are you asking about love anyway? you got someone in school you like seeing?’
ponyboy whipped his head around to face his brother, causing them to both laugh. ‘absolutely not.’ he said sternly yet with a slight chuckle resting on his lips.
‘is it y/n?’
the boy could only raise a brow at his brother, silently telling him to quiet down. ‘don’t look at me like that because i know how you really feel!’ he pulled a pillow over his head to shield his ears from his annoyance of a sibling.
the words echoed in his head as he lulled to sleep, playing tricks on his mind and toying with his dreams.
‘shut the hell up.’

Hi!! I don’t know if you do these or are taking requests, but could you do outsiders hcs? Maybe like soc boy x fem! Reader? Either the girl is also a Soc or to make things more interesting… a greaser? Either way, that’s up to you 🫶🏻 if you don’t do that kind of thing that’s totally okay!! Have a wonderful day!! 🌅☺️
Tumblr media
Summary: The Soc boys headcannons
Warnings: toxic relationship sorta
Authors note: not sure if u wanted the soc boys or the outsiders as socs. Idk have this lmao
BOB SHELDON loves you like a lover should he just has a very hard time showing it. He spends most of his time getting wasted and riding around with Randy, but there's sometimes a moment where you can see the love he has for you. He spends a lot of money on you. It's his way of apologizing for screwing up, which he does a lot. If you're a greaser he probably wouldn't date you, but if you could pass as a soc he might think about hanging around.
RANDY ANDERSON as the one who saw the futility in fighting, he'd actually be more open to dating a greaser, and how could he resist you? He's quite kind but he feels a lot of pressure to be the different things he was supposed to live up to. He treats you well when you two are by yourself but when he's with friends he becomes different. Like Bob he uses money to get out of an argument with you.

Davis chet!!! One where Chet climbs through her (sheldon sister) window ‼️‼️
Author's Note: more Davis!Chet for y'all
Need to Feel You
Davis!Chet Baker x fem!Sheldon reader (Bob's Sister)
Tumblr media
The storm had rolled in fast.
Thunder cracked across the sky like a warning shot, wind rushing hard against the windows. You were curled under your blanket in your dark room, reading by the soft glow of your lamp, the sound of rain a steady hum behind it all.
You thought maybe tonight would pass quietly.
Then came the knock.
No—not a knock. A tap. Barely there. Just enough.
You looked up.
Your breath caught.
Outside your second-story window, soaked from head to toe, was Chet Baker.
Hair plastered to his forehead, lips parted, chest rising like he’d just sprinted all the way from his side of Tulsa—and maybe he had.
You rushed to the window and threw it open.
“Chet—what are you doing—”
He climbed through like a man starved for air, water dripping off his jacket and onto your floor. And as soon as his feet hit the ground, he was on you—hands cupping your face, eyes wild, voice low and ragged.
“I needed to feel you.”
That was all he said.
And then his hands were on your thighs, lifting you like it was nothing, like you were his, like gravity didn’t mean a damn thing. You gasped, legs wrapping instinctively around his waist as your back hit the wall—then the bed—as he dropped you down with him on top, the room spinning in a rush of wet clothes and hungry breath.
His mouth crashed into yours.
It wasn’t like the other kisses.
This one was different—urgent, messy, desperate. All rain-soaked heat and teeth and tongue, like he was afraid he’d never see you again. Like he needed to memorize the shape of you before the world took him back.
“Chet,” you whispered between kisses, fingertips in his soaked hair, “you’re freezing—”
“Don’t care,” he murmured, mouth moving to your neck. “Just wanna feel you. Just you.”
And in that moment, with thunder shaking the sky and Chet Baker tangled in your sheets, you realized—
He wasn’t just looking for warmth.
He was looking for home.
And somehow, that was you.
The room was still.
Your lamp cast a golden glow against the storm still pacing outside, soft rain tapping on the glass like it didn’t want to leave you two alone just yet.
Chet sat on the edge of your bed now, his wet jacket abandoned on the floor, your towel clutched in his hands. His hair were still damp, clinging to his forehead, his chest rising slowly beneath your borrowed T-shirt from Bob—the one you gave him to warm up.
You watched him from your spot curled beneath the blanket, legs tucked under, the sheets still twisted from the way he dropped you there only minutes ago.
His head hung, elbows on his knees, thumbs brushing absently along the towel’s edge.
You waited. You knew better than to speak first with Chet.
He always looked like he was running from something. Even when he was sitting still.
Then, quietly—barely a whisper—
“I dream about you.”
You looked up. “What?”
He didn’t turn to you. Just stared at the floor.
“Every night I’m not with you, I dream I am.” He swallowed. “It’s always the same—you open your window, and I climb in. You touch my face like you ain’t scared of what’s under it. You say my name like it means somethin’.”
You sat up slowly. “Chet…”
He turned to you then.
Eyes soft. Voice raw.
“I never tell anybody this stuff. I don’t even tell myself. But when I’m here—when it’s you—I feel like I’m allowed to stop runnin’.”
You reached out, and he came to you like it was the only thing he knew how to do. You pulled him into your arms, blanket and all, wrapping him in silence and warmth.
He tucked his face into your shoulder, his breath hot against your skin.
“I ain’t good at bein’ somebody’s anything,” he murmured. “But if I was… I’d want to be yours.”
You squeezed him tighter.
“You already are.”
And when he finally fell asleep in your bed—body warm, hair drying against your pillow—you realized that maybe the storm outside had only come to lead him home.

Dallas Winston x African Fem reader. Basically y/n is a new girl in town who lives with her grandparents and Dally thinks shes fine and he’s trying to rizz her up. Tysmm
Yes ma'am/Sir <3 Its so cute my darling Disclaimer: I didn't want to assume if she was more dark or if she was white but I hope it's okay if she has more darker skin <3 Also I'm gonna change it up a bit (Like she's new so she doesn't know about a lot of stuff outside of Africa, so Dallas introduces her to more things.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❝ I gotta know tonight. If you're alone tonight.❞
☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆
To say Dallas Winston was interested was definitely an understatement.
He felt as if he wanted to get to know you and what your heart desires.
So he does what the good ole' Dally Winston would do.
Hit on you.
He walked to you in such a manner that would have any girl falling to their knees. And his accent made you blush right away.
"Hi there, pretty girl. I haven't seen you around. What's your name?" He smirked as he looked into your eyes.
You smiled at his accent. It just made you feel safe for some odd reason, considering he was a stranger.
"I'm Y/n L/n. I love your accent, it's very comforting. I just moved here from Africa." You said, looking at his cute facial features.
He was definitely a cutie.
His eyes widened, his cheeks only showing the smallest amount of blush. No one has ever complimented his accent like you did. He could tell that he was gonna like you a lot.
"Thanks, man. Uh- Africa, huh? What'd you move here for?" He said, the last part coming off rude. He internally slapped himself, hoping you didn't notice his harsh tone. And thankfully you didn't.
You just smiled at him, before answering his question.
"Just felt like it I guess. What's your name and where are you from?" you asked sweetly. Your voice sounded like honey and your skin was tan, which shined brightly in the sun.
"Im from New York. Dallas Winston. But you can call me yours if you want." He said, shooting his shot.
That explains the accent. You felt the blood rise to your face as you covered it, avoiding his stare.
"Aren't you just a charmer, Mr Winston." You said, starting to walk as Dallas walked with you.
"Do you want to be my friend? I haven't met a lot of people that went out of their way to talk to me." You asked quietly.
He smiled softly, nodding his head at you as you two walked around town.
"Oh what a car! That's really nice." You exclaimed, pointing at the mustang that belonged to Bob Sheldon.
Dal looked at the car, remembering how many times he had slashes the tires to that exact car as he smirked.
"yeah uh that's Bob Sheldons car. We don't like him." He said, grabbing your shoulder as he kept walking.
"Why not? He hurt you?" You kept asking questions on why but he was scared to show the kind of person Dallas Winston really was.
"Nah, man. He just- look. Around here, you have to hide. You have to fight for just walking around in the streets. Just stay away from him. Understand?" he said, lighting a cigarette.
You weren't scared. You were sad that you couldn't go where you wanted.
"I move here from Africa. For more. And now all my opportunities are out the window. I wanna see the world, Dal." You say sadly.
He blew a puff of smoke into your face. You ignored it. It didn't bother you one bit. From the house you lived in, people smoked all the time. Even you. But not all the time.
"Wanna meet my friends?" He asked you randomly.
You were honestly excited.
"More? Like you?" You asked with a bright smile that soon made him smile as well.
"psh. I mean I guess. But remember sweetheart. There ain't a lot of people like Dally Winston." He kisses your hand before grabbing it, walking down the sidewalk with you.
You blushed softly, looking down at your feet.
You took your hand back. This is too early. You are getting too attached.
He noticed but ignored it as he looked around to distract himself.
You two then made it to a house, the screen door wide open for just anybody to walk in.
You shifted in your spot, nervous to go in.
Dallas noticed your absence, going back outside to find you when he saw you weren't behind you.
"Hey. What's up, man? Scared?" He said before laughing.
You loved his laugh.
"A little." You said looking at the house.
"Aw come on. They don't bite- Steve might. But just ignore them if they say weird stuff." He said, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, leading you inside before having his hand on the small of your back. Walking in right after you.
They boys looked up, besides Two-Bit and Ponyboy.
"Hey guys. This is Y/n. She just moved here from Africa." He said before Darry stood up, holding out his hand to introduce himself.
You nervously took it and smiled. "Hello Y/n. I'm Darryl but please call me Darry." He then pointed at all the boys, naming them as you nodded.
"Make yourself at home." He said before going into the kitchen.
You sat next to Two-bit, looking over his shoulder at the TV.
"Mickey Mouse?" You asked him, pointing at the Tv.
He looked at you and then at Dally.
"where did you find her, Dal? She's cute."
You blushed, putting a hand over your mouth as you looked at him then Dallas.
"Yeah yeah. Met er' at the diner." He rolled his eyes.
You got up and sat on the couch next to Dallas.
"Who's she? A girlfriend?" Steve said to Dally.
You looked at him with wide eyes.
You both stumbled over your words, trying to say it wasn't like that.
Steve just laughed.
"Jeez, Dal. If you like her just say that."
"Shut up snaggle tooth. I don't wanna hear it." Dallas just brushed him off before looking at the TV.
☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆☆═━┈┈━═☆
It's been 5 weeks and you and Dallas are closer than you have ever been close with someone.
"Hey Y/n. Wanna go to the bar or somethin'? I'm real bored, man."
You looked at Dallas, before rolling your eyes with a smile.
"You're always bored." You said, grabbing your shoes.
You two walked over to Bucks, playing around on the way there.
You turned around, realizing that Dallas wasn't talking your ear off.
"Dally?" You said, looking behind parked cars.
You saw the alley way. It was dark and you hated it. You were scared of the dark.
You walked closer, hearing noises in the distance.
You screamed when you felt a hand on your shoulder.
"Dallas I'm gonna fucking kill you!" You said, punching him hard in the shoulder.
"Ow. Watch the guns, babe." He laughed, ruffling your hair.
"You know I hate the dark. Why would you do that?" You asked, looking anywhere but into his eyes.
"Hey, Doll. I was just playing around. Come on, you know it was funny." He said, making you smile slightly before punching him in the shoulder again. This time playfully.
"See? What'd I tell ya?" He said, jokingly grabbing your nose before you swatted his hand away.
"Come on dally. Let's go before it gets any later." You said, looking around, seeing darkness from the distance, a chill being sent up your spine.
He chuckles before wrapping his arm around you.
"I ain't gonna let nothin' happen to you. You know that." He mumbled before walking towards Buck's with you under his arm.
It was taking forever to get there. It even started raining as you two were walking.
"Dal, I told you we should've took the car." You said, hitting his arm playfully. Both of you dripping with rain water.
"Yeah yeah. You just love being right don't ya? He smirked at you, wrapping his jacket around himself more as he shivered.
Your band T-shirt was almost see through, but it wasn't too bad since it was red.
"You just love being wrong don't ya?" You said, mocking his accent.
He glared at you playfully.
"Ha. Ha. Shut up." He flicked your ear. He noticed how your hair dripped with rain water, looking at you with admiration.
"You alright, dal-"
You two were cut off by a figure approaching the two of you.
"Dallas Winston? Is that you? What are you doing on this side of town, huh?" Bob said, taking a drink from his flask.
"Damn it." Dallas said under his breath.
"Look man. I don't want any trouble while I have my lady friend here. We're just passin' through, man." He said, staring him down nervously.
"Oh yeah? Where you from, doll? I haven't seen you around." He said, looking at you.
You didn't appreciate him calling you "Doll." And apparently Dallas didn't either.
"Um..Africa." You said quietly.
"Okay well you should just go back to Africa sweetheart. This ain't the place for you. Do you know who you're out here running with? Just look at em'." He sneered.
"Just ignore it, doll." Dallas said, grabbing you gently, pulling you away from Bob.
You balled up your fist as he continued to talk as you walked with Dallas.
"Dallas Winston is a bad man. You are better off on our side of town. Not with those losers."
You turned around, swinging a punch right to his nose.
"Don't you ever talk about my friends. I don't know you and you sure as hell don't know me. So step off." You paused before saying something else. "And if you have a problem with Dal, you have a problem with me." You wiped the blood from your knuckles before walking up the Dallas hurriedly, Bob ran off.
Dallas was shocked, but more so in love.
"Why- how..oh my God, Doll. You coulda' got hurt. The fuzz coulda' taken you away." He said looking at you with concern, checking you to make sure you were okay.
"Dal, I'm fine. I just don't like when people talk about my friends." You said, looking at your knuckles.
He smiled, hugging you, the sky starting to rain again.
You smiled, before hugging him back.
"You know. That kind of turned me on." He said, making you playfully smack his head.
"Dallas!" You covered your blush.
"What? Just sayin'" He smirked, wrapping his arm around you as the rain poured down.
"Real cute, Dally." You playfully pinched his cheek before he swatted your hand away.
"Not cuter than you, Pretty Girl."

You Sit In Class Next To A Red-Head Named Abigail And Soon Enough You're Best Friends
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing [s] : cherry valence x fem!reader
warning [s] : | im in love with her | she's my girl crush | kissing teehee | CHERRY LVRS UNITE PLEASE
a/n [s] : requests are open.
Tumblr media
Sherri Valence is your best friend. You've known her since elementary school. Whenever her hair was braided everyday with bows at the end. She played with you every single day, and she stayed with your best friend in middle school. You and her had grown up, her red-hair down to the middle of her back. You thought she was completely beautiful, when she walked down the football field on Bob Sheldon's arm with a pretty dress and her hair curled up.
Then, it hit high school and you begin to see her in a different light. Suddenly, it changed from daydreaming about what stores you would go to whenever you went to the mall with Cherry after school, to how the taste of her lips would be. It was confusing inside, wondering why you were thinking of your best friend in a way that was disgraced by the people in your neighborhood. Cherry was spending more time with you alone, taking your hand for a little longer than dragging you through the hallway.
Cherry invites you to the drive-in movie theater. It's late November evening, the trees are bare and cover the screen in some ways, but everything is perfect. You and Cherry are sharing chocolate chip cookies that she made just for this. As well as juicy and cold cherries you were sharing, watching her lips turn a soft red.
She had been much more different than usual; keeping her sentences short at all times or her eyes falling from yours to not look at you. That was the night she stopped her car at the local park that many teens and young adults chose to spend their nights there. It's a soft, moon lit night as you look over at her.
The radio is playing the Beatles as she looks over at you. Your name falls from her lips as she captures your attention. “Yes, Cherry?” Her dark-brown eyes look into yours as she messes with the rings on her fingers. “Can I— can I tell you something? You have to promise not to tell anyone else about it.” She whispers softly, hands running down her skirt. You nod and set your hand on hers, rubbing softly across her knuckles.
“I haven't been able to find the words to tell you,” You swear you can feel your heart beating out of your chest. Cherry takes shallow and shaky breaths in as she stares deeper in your eyes. “I think I'm in love with you. You make me feel so.. amazing. Better than anything Bob could've given me at all.” Your eyes widen as her words touch your ears. She's giving you an uncomfortable smile, waiting for the news to hit you.
“I understand if you don't feel the same.” Her words are a dangerous mix of hopefulness and are anxiety ridden. Her eyes well up with tears, them becoming glossy with feelings. Then, she continued pushing out her feelings. “Every time I need anything, you're there for me. More than I've ever been for you. I cherish every day we've had together, and the days we've missed because all I did was think about you.” It's vulnerable for Cherry to let herself in this position. She's held up a wall, only letting a few certain people through.
It's a weird silence. You can't find the correct words to say to her. The grip you have on her hand connects your souls through everything. “You mean everything to me. Please say something. Please.” She begs as she blinks a tear from her eye and it falls from her face. “Cherry.” You say her name to capture her attention this time, putting your other hand into hers. Your lips fall to her knuckles and you give a soft kiss to them.
“You mean the world to me too. I think if I lost you, I would chase you for everything. You're my partner in crime, my rock, my salvation. I love you too.” The words weren't crazy for you. You and Cherry were close enough to bring out the four letter words with each other. You lean further in, closer to her.
Cherry’s eyes are closer to your vision and you can successfully see the globs of honey-brown in her dark eyes. Her hair blows in the cold wind where it hasn't been clipped down. Your hand goes to lie on the back of her neck, and she leans in closer as well. You weren't one for hesitation but whatever was happening was causing you to freeze where you were.
Then, it begins. You lean in at the same time as her, and kiss her gently. She tastes like cherries and coke as you envelope her lips in between yours again. You hold her hand before you pull her closer and your hand runs through her soft hair. You and her pull away and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her mascara is slightly messed up after crying, but her lipstick is messed up for a different reason. “You look gorgeous.” You tell her and her cheeks turn a light pink color.
“Thank you. I love you.” Cherry says and kisses you once more. You fall into the comfortable hold on her arms, her perfume wafting into senses. It's relaxing now that you feel as if a weight has been taken off of your heart and shoulders that now you've confessed.

ok hear me out Bob's sister and soda meet kinda like pony and cherry and they kinda walk together and a greaser or soc see them walking together and the next day they rat them out to them and bob freaks out? Ty!
Author's Note: yes yes yes!
Seen This Film Before
Sodapop Curtis x fem!Sheldon reader (Bob's sister)
Tumblr media
You didn’t mean to end up at the poor side drive-in.
It was supposed to be Cherry and Marcia dragging you along to their little rebellion stunt. “Just a night out,” Cherry said with a smile. “No Bob. No rules. No country club drama.”
You agreed. You always agreed when it meant getting away from Bob.
So there you were—hair pinned, lipstick perfect, sitting in a folding chair and pretending not to notice the way the greasers were looking at you from the row behind. Not rude. Not gross. Just curious.
One in particular.
He was leaning back, grinning lazily, arms draped across the back of the bench like he owned the night. And when you met his eyes—warm and golden like a summer day—he smiled like he’d known you forever.
You looked away, flustered.
You’d never seen him before. He wasn’t like the Soc boys with their stiff grins and sharper egos. He looked real. Comfortable in his skin. Dangerous in that soft, glittering way.
You found yourself sneaking glances the entire movie.
When Cherry and Marcia wandered off to talk to that quiet Curtis boy and Dallas Winston, he slipped in beside you, casual as anything.
“You look too pretty to be sittin’ all alone,” he said, voice low, honey-sweet. “That by design?”
You blinked, stunned. “You always talk to strange girls at the movies?”
“Only when they’re dressed like trouble,” he teased, smirking. “And you’re wearin’ it real well, doll.”
You laughed—actually laughed—and for the first time all week, you felt like yourself.
“Sodapop Curtis,” he introduced, holding out a hand.
You raised an eyebrow. “That’s your real name?”
“It’s what I answer to,” he grinned. “What do you answer to, mystery girl?”
“…[Y/N],” you said, slipping your hand into his. “Just [Y/N].”
You didn’t tell him your last name. Not yet.
You walked after the movie.
The night was warm and quiet, the sound of cicadas buzzing while your heels clicked softly against the sidewalk. Soda talked like he’d known you for years. Easy. Charming. Not a single fake thing about him. And he made you laugh—really laugh. Not that polite Soc giggle. A full, dizzy sort of joy.
But the magic cracked when a car rolled by.
A Soc car.
Inside, two boys from your neighborhood: Paul and Chet. You knew the second their headlights passed that they saw you. Saw Soda. Saw your hand brush his when he pointed at the stars.
And you knew what that meant.
The next day felt like waiting for a bomb to drop.
And it did.
In your own damn living room.
You came downstairs and found Bob—jacket slung over his shoulder, rage etched into every inch of him. Clark was standing at the door.
“You wanna tell me why I heard you were holdin’ hands with a greaser at the drive-in?” Bob barked, slamming the door shut behind you.
You froze. “I wasn’t—”
“Don’t lie to me,” he snapped. “They said it was Sodapop Curtis.”
Your blood ran cold.
“You know who that is, [Y/N]?” Bob growled. “He’s dirt. He’s a dropout. He’s not even worth the gas it’d take to beat the hell outta him.”
“Stop it,” you said, voice shaking.
Bob’s eyes narrowed. “You like him?”
You didn’t answer.
Which was answer enough.
Bob laughed, bitter and furious. “Unbelievable. You got all these Soc guys fallin’ over themselves for you, and you pick him?”
“He’s kind,” you shot back. “Kinder than any of the guys you hang out with. He actually listens to me.”
“And what? You think he loves you? He’s a greaser. You’re just a rich girl in lipstick to him.”
Your hands balled into fists. “You don’t know him.”
Bob stalked toward you, pointing a finger. “You see him again, I’ll make sure he wishes he never stepped near this neighborhood. You hear me?”
You stared him down, heart racing, and whispered:
“I’m not yours to control, Bob.”
You didn’t wait for his response. You pushed past him, keys in hand, and ran.
Later that night, you found Soda leaning against the hood of his car near the DX. He looked up and saw you—eyes wide, like he hadn’t even dared to hope.
But you were there.
Shaken. Breathless.
And his arms were open before you even reached him.
“I told him,” you whispered against his chest.
“Told who?” he asked, holding you tight.
“…Bob.”
His body tensed.
“He threatened you,” you whispered. “He’ll come for you.”
Soda leaned back and cupped your face. “He can try,” he said quietly. “But he ain’t takin’ you from me.”
You buried your face in his neck.
“I’m scared,” you whispered.
“I’m not,” he said, pulling you even closer. “I got you. And I ain’t lettin’ go, not now.”
You looked up at him.
And just like that—he kissed you.
Soft. Fierce. Like he meant it. Like you were the only thing worth fighting for in this whole messed-up town.

A Jealous Heart & Mind
Sodapop Curtis x fem!reader
Terrance Dipp (Trip) x fem!reader (SEPARATE)
Tumblr media
SODAPOP
The sun is high, the waves crashing in a steady rhythm as the gang sprawls out on the sand. You’re in Soda’s oversized button-up, tied at your waist over your swimsuit, your hair salty from the ocean breeze. Two-Bit has somehow convinced everyone to play beach volleyball, and teams are picked haphazardly, laughter echoing across the shore.
You end up on Darry’s team — partly because he hoisted you over to his side before Soda could stop him, grinning like a big brother.
“C’mon, Y/N, I need all the help I can get with this ragtag team,” Darry jokes, clapping your shoulder. You giggle and stick with him, not thinking much of it.
But Soda’s eyes follow every move you make. Every time you and Darry high-five, every time you lean in to laugh at something Two-Bit says, every time you cheer when Steve spikes the ball. His smile stays on his face for the gang, but his eyes? They’re burning.
When the game ends and you come running over, cheeks flushed and hair messy, he doesn’t waste a second. His arms are around you, pulling you close like he’s been starving.
“Didn’t know you were switchin’ teams on me, sweetheart,” he murmurs, voice low, lips brushing your ear.
You blink up at him, caught off guard by the heat in his gaze. “Soda… we were just playing…”
“I know,” he says, but he’s already kissing your temple, your cheek, your jaw — anywhere he can reach. “Just didn’t like watchin’ everybody else get to touch you like that. You’re mine, baby. Remember that?”
Your heart races, but you can’t help smiling, sinking into his warmth as the waves crash behind you.
TRIP
The Socs have taken over a stretch of beach for the afternoon — umbrellas, coolers, a radio playing lazy tunes. The sun glints off Trip’s shades as he keeps half an eye on you from where he’s leaning against a cooler, sipping a soda.
You’re laughing, sprawled in the sand with Brill (Bob Sheldon) and another Soc, building some ridiculous sandcastle. Brill keeps bumping your shoulder, stealing the flag you were gonna put on top, teasing you with that cocky grin of his.
Trip’s jaw tightens.
He watches the way your eyes light up when Brill teases you, the way you swat at him playfully. Watches Brill tuck your hair behind your ear at one point, and that’s it.
Trip is up and crossing the sand before he even knows what he’s doing. He drops down behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, chin on your shoulder. His breath is warm on your skin.
“Whatcha building, princess?” His voice is easy, but there’s a possessive edge to it.
“A castle,” you say, heart fluttering at how close he is.
Brill snickers. “Yeah, she’s building it for me.”
Trip’s smile doesn’t reach his eyes. “That so?” His grip tightens just a bit. “Pretty sure this princess already has her king.”
You glance back at him, and Trip finally relaxes a little at the way you lean into him, the way your smile is just for him now. Brill raises a brow but backs off, getting the message loud and clear.

Paul Holden x Fem!Soc reader?
Author's Note: yes ofc anon! in cooked up some angst for y'all today
Nothing but the Same
Paul Holden x fem!soc reader
Tumblr media
You always believed Paul was different. The one Soc boy who didn’t let his privilege or his friends define him. The one boy who, when you gave him your heart, promised—swore—he’d never be like the rest.
And you believed him.
But that belief shatters like glass one sickening night.
You’re at The Dingo, waiting for Paul, sipping a Coke, tapping your nails on the table. The jukebox hums in the background. That’s when you overhear it—Bob Sheldon, loud and cocky, bragging to Trip and Chet at the counter.
“Man, Paul’s right hook tonight? Greaser didn’t know what hit him. Had him bleeding before he even got a word out.”
The Coke goes flat in your mouth.
Paul’s name. Paul.
You freeze, listening closer, hoping—praying—you misheard.
Trip laughs. “That kid tried to act tough, but Brill had him down before he blinked. Paul cleaned up the rest. He’s still got it.”
You don’t remember standing, or grabbing your purse. All you know is you’re storming out into the night, heart pounding, throat tight. And there he is—Paul—leaning against his shiny car like he doesn’t have a care in the world.
He grins when he sees you. But that grin fades fast.
“Hey, babe—what’s wrong?”
You stop a foot away, shaking your head, tears burning your eyes. “You promised me.”
He blinks. “What?”
“You promised me, Paul. When we got together—you said you weren’t like them. That you didn’t fight. That you weren’t like them.”
His face falls. “(Y/N)—”
“Don’t.” Your voice breaks. “How long? How long have you been lying to me?”
He tries to reach for you, but you step back. “I didn’t want you to know—”
“Years?” you choke out. “Years? All this time, I thought you were the one good Soc. But you’re just like the rest of them. Bob, Trip, Brill—you’re all the same.”
“It’s not like that—” His voice is desperate now. “I didn’t mean for you to find out like this. I tried to stop. I swear I tried. But—”
“But what?!” The tears fall now, hot and angry. “But it’s easier to go along with them? Beat on kids who didn’t do anything to you? Lie to me so you can still look like the golden boy?”
“(Y/N), please—”
You shake your head. “No, Paul. I’m done.” Your voice is hollow. “Don’t follow me. Don’t call me. I don’t even know who you are anymore.”
And you turn and walk away, heart breaking with every step, as Paul stands frozen, watching the one thing that mattered slip away.

Hi there! Love your fics!!!!! Could i request a (bob) sheldon sister x paul holden???? I love Paul and he isnt loved enough (PAUL MY SHAYLA)
Author's Note: PAULLL and no Claire Maple is not gonna be making an appearance
Every year we get older and I'm still on your side
Paul Holden x fem!sheldon reader
Tumblr media
You and Paul Holden had grown up exactly three houses apart. Three big, pristine houses in a polished Soc neighborhood where the grass was always cut, the Cadillacs gleamed, and summer always smelled like fresh-poured lemonade and pool chlorine.
From the time you were kids, Paul had always been there—quietly and steadfastly, like the sky. You remembered riding bikes in the cul-de-sac, Paul pushing your swing higher than anyone else could, both of you splashing in the pool behind his house until your mother hollered you home.
Bob, your twin, used to tease you about it. “Paul’s gonna end up marrying you,” he’d mutter, rolling his eyes, but never mad about it. Just observant. Paul never commented, just gave a small shrug and a smile that made your cheeks go hot.
By high school, Paul was golden. Quarterback. Polished. Perfect. All the teachers loved him. He had that Soc shine pressed slacks, combed hair, and a grin that made girls like Beverly and Marcia lean over their desks. But you were always different. Not just Bob’s sister. You were his best friend.
And slowly—so slow you hardly noticed—it became something more. How Paul’s fingers lingered when he passed you a milkshake at the drive-in. How he always drove you home last. How he held eye contact when you talked like your words were the only ones he wanted to hear.
Senior year, you kissed him under the bleachers after a Friday night game. He cupped your face so gently, like you were glass, and whispered, “I’ve loved you since I was ten.”
And that was it. You were Paul Holden’s girl, and everyone knew it. Bob didn’t even protest just smirked like he’d seen it coming since kindergarten.
You, Paul, Bob, Cherry, Marcia, Trip, Chet, Brill, and Beverly made the perfect picture clean, precise, polished Socs with perfect reputations and perfect hair. You hung out behind the school parking lot in shiny cars, at the drive-in with matching coats, sipping cokes and whispering gossip. You and Paul always went together, he’d open your door like a gentleman, call you “baby” with that signature smile.
After graduation, Paul didn’t waste time. He proposed the summer after senior year, on the hood of his car, under the stars, with a little velvet box he’d been carrying in his pocket all night. You cried before you even said yes.
“You serious?” you asked, breath caught in your throat.
Paul smiled, brushing your hair back behind your ear. “Always been serious about you.”
You married young, like people did then, and it was perfect. The golden couple everyone saw coming. You moved into a sweet little house not far from your old street. You still went to the drive-in on Friday nights, still met the group for late-night malts and parties where everyone dressed just a little too nice.
Eventually, there were kids. Two of them. One with your eyes, one with Paul’s grin. Bob spoiled them rotten. Brill taught them how to play cards. Beverly brought them matching sweaters every Christmas.
And Paul? Paul never changed. Still held your hand in public. Still kissed your cheek when he brought you coffee. Still looked at you like you hung the moon—even on days when your hair was a mess or the baby had been crying for hours.
You were the girl he loved since he was ten. And you’d always be.

Authors Note: aww this is sooo cutsie
Cherry Basket
Cole Zieser x fem!reader
Tumblr media
The night had finally arrived. After months of rehearsals, late nights, and more than a few nerves, you were about to make your Broadway debut as Cherry Valance in The Outsiders. The theater buzzed with excitement, the sound of the audience filtering through the walls as your heart raced. You could hear the distant rumblings of the crowd getting settled, but none of that mattered because it was your night.
Your debut.
But you weren’t alone in your excitement. Cole Zieser, who played Trip (and was your best friend and huge support throughout all the chaos), had been there every step of the way. You both had shared your frustrations, your breakthroughs, and your dreams of Broadway together. Now, the big moment had arrived. And of course, Cole had something special planned to celebrate it.
You stood backstage in your dressing room, your costume—a pink plaid dress—draped across the chair as you touched up your makeup. You glanced at the clock, realizing it was almost time to go on. The nerves crept up on you again, but just as quickly, you heard a knock on your door.
“Come in!” you called, turning to see Cole, grinning from ear to ear as he stepped inside, holding a large, colorful basket in his hands.
“Here it is, your official Broadway debut basket!” he said, setting it down in front of you.
You raised an eyebrow. “A basket?”
“A celebration basket!” Cole corrected, nudging you with his elbow. “I’ve got snacks, flowers, maybe even a bottle of champagne if you’re feeling fancy later.”
You laughed, looking at the thoughtful, yet slightly ridiculous assortment of items he’d packed. There were chocolates, some random souvenirs from the theater district, a bouquet of roses, and even a small plushie of a horse (for some unknown reason). "I can always count on you for the most random things, Cole."
“Hey, I know you’re going to crush it tonight,” he said, his smile widening. “Plus, it’s tradition now. broadway debutI’ve had, I’ve done this for my friends. It’s just a little good luck charm.”
Your heart swelled at the gesture, the nerves slowly turning into excitement as you pulled him into a hug. "Thank you. It means so much to me."
Just as you were about to grab the basket to look through it more, the door opened again, and in rushed Kevin William Paul, who played Bob Sheldon. His face looked a little too pale for comfort.
“Guys, bad news,” Kevin said, voice strained. “I’m really sorry, but I just woke up feeling… terrible. I can barely breathe and I think I’m coming down with something. I’m—I'm calling in sick tonight.”
Your heart dropped for a second, processing the words, but you weren't the only one who reacted. You turned to Cole, who immediately jumped into action.
“No. No way. This can’t happen tonight,” Cole muttered, pacing for a second. “It’s Y/N's debut. There’s no way we’re going to let this ruin everything for you.”
“Hold on,” Kevin interjected, looking apologetic but still sickly. “I’m sorry, Cole, but I can’t go on like this. You’re gonna have to—”
Without missing a beat, Cole turned on his heel and cut him off. “I’ll do it.”
You blinked, unsure if you heard him right. “What?”
“I’ll do it,” Cole repeated, more forcefully this time. “I know the lines. I know the blocking. I’ll play Bob Sheldon tonight.”
“Cole, you’re… Trip! You can’t just step in as Bob,” you protested, trying to process the idea. “That’s not—”
“Not a problem,” Cole interrupted, his expression now determined. “It’s debut night for you, and I’m not letting anything ruin it. I’ve got this.” He looked over at Kevin. “Go get some rest. I’m taking over for Bob tonight.”
Kevin hesitated, clearly not wanting to leave, but he eventually nodded. “You sure? You’re Trip…”
“I know the role,” Cole said.
You were left standing there in stunned silence as Cole rushed off, suddenly swapping roles for the night. After a few moments, you shook yourself from your daze, realizing the craziness of it all.
As you walked out onto the stage to perform your first scenes as Cherry, you could barely keep your focus on the lines as you heard Cole’s voice coming from the other side of the stage. He was in full Bob Sheldon mode, blending seamlessly into the role. You couldn’t help but grin to yourself as you moved through your performance, knowing your best friend was out there, stepping up to make sure your debut night went off without a hitch.
By the time the curtain call came, the audience was roaring with applause, and you could barely keep your tears at bay. You had done it. And Cole, somehow, had made the night even more unforgettable.
Backstage, as the cast gathered for final bows, you rushed over to Cole, who was smiling ear to ear, looking completely exhausted but beyond proud.
“You were amazing as Bob,” you said, breathless. “Seriously, I didn’t know you had it in you.”
“Clearly, you underestimated me,” Cole teased, playfully bumping his shoulder against yours. “But hey, anything for my best friend.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “I’ll never forget this night. Thank you for stepping in, Cole. You saved me.”
“No, thank you for letting me be part of this crazy ride with you. You were incredible out there. Broadway's got a new star,” he said, pulling you into a tight hug.
“I don’t think I would’ve made it without you, Cole,” you whispered into his ear, knowing he had made this night even more magical than you could’ve imagined.
