The File Explorer Replacement - The Files App for Windows!

The Windows File Explorer has been around for a while, with very few changes over the years. In this video, I'll show you an alternative to the file explorer that you might want to consider. The "Files" application. This open source application attempts to modernize the Windows 11 File Explorer while providing features that should have been added to the File Explorer by default. I'll be going over some of the application's key features, comparing it to the default file explorer and finally, I'll go over some of the things that you should consider before switching to it for yourself. Either way, I'm sure you'll appreciate some of the features that this application brings to the table.

procreate has taken up almost 300GB of space in my ipad because i haven’t backed it up in 4 years. learn from my mistakes, back up and clear out your procreate files 😩

Reminder to download your saves to your files so you don't end up losing them for one reason or another 🙏

Once the game is fully completed I will make it downloadable so you can play it offline as well and won't have to worry about losing your save files, but until then, make sure to take precautions!

way back in the day every time i reinstalled my windows partition, my first priority would be to get objectdock and launchy and rainmeter installed to make my desktop actually usable. but then for a while there i actually stopped needing it. the start menu was actually functional as a keyboard-only app launcher, and the taskbar was customizable enough that having a dock and a clock separate felt redundant. so it's extremely funny that with windows 11 i am once again installing rocketdock and rainmeter and now fluentlauncher. microsoft simply could not stop themselves from making windows unusable again.

I doubt this'll get far enough to reach anyone who might have anything kicking around but yelling into the void has worked before (e.g. Supernatural, The X-Files, bonus X-Files):

Back in June 2024 TV Writing added a nice little set of 12 Xena: Warrior Princess scripts.

I made the four scripts Cousin Liz shared many years ago into pdfs and sent them to TV Writing, they were added in October 2024.

In December I stumbled on a new upload of the 2008 Photobucket images of "The God You Know" shared by LadyKate63 and made the draft where all of the page numbers were visible into a pdf. I sent that along with the first and last of season one to TV Writing:

Mm half asleep here but Doey’s observation cell is different from his cell cell. At night he is moved to what is basically an airtight box (he does not need to breath technically) and locked inside until morning. While there are guards outside it is easier to also keep him in a space where he doesn’t have the opportunity to escape. However, because it is airtight the critters cannot join him in there as they would suffocate to death. If Doey is particularly well behaved he is allowed to sleep in his observation cell (though large metal shutters are put over the one-way mirror) with the critters. It is both a reward and it allows them to further force the Doey form to be his default even in sleep (which is easier still after Sawyer gets operated on as he is made to keep watch). Draw in the morning but Doey in the very far back corner of the room sleeping on his stomach and Bella is curled in the crook of his neck and Lucas is asleep on his back (to keep watch ofc) yesss
