The timing of this is interesting (July 26) bc I theorized that the 3rd quarter on the Midnights vinyls clock (Mahogany vinyl, hrs 7-9, July-Sept) matches w/ the “Seven, eight, isn’t fall great?” message and I think the Mahogany vinyl is a Hunger Games reference -> “And games played.”

Plus “Armor hidden in the boudoir and swords Rusting in their sheaths must now be drawn” evokes the image of a war/fight which is also very Hunger Games esque and it fits w/ the gladiator metaphor the tortured poets have been using. I think we are about to see the tortured poets really ramp up the performance art and make the bearding, PR, feuds, and drama so incredibly ridiculous and circusy that it will no longer be believable or enjoyable to watch. Basically we’re about to watch the world’s biggest and craziest freak show. Halloween 🎃👻 = spooking the fans and general public by pranking the hell out of them.

I think we are currently watching this part ⬆️ of The Prophecy being fulfilled (Glory and Gore). Lorde’s Team has the lyrics “So all the cups got broke, Shards beneath our feet, But it wasn’t my fault” (x) which I think is related to these lyrics in Glory and Gore -> “Dropping glasses just to hear them break…Everyone a rager but secretly they’re saviors.” In other words, they’re deliberately causing chaos and putting on a huge show or spectacle (performance art) to distract the fans and general public from the “cracks in the veneer” that are continuing to form from their secrets being spread like dandelion florets. It’s a bait and switch (willow, cowboy like me) or sleight of hand. The recent Sydney Sweeney x American Eagle campaign which has eugenics and white supremacy undertones definitely seems to be part of the performance art. It’s misdirection and lampshading and we should instead be focusing on the subtle clues and cryptic messages they have been leaving us. As I said before in this post, INTENTIONS are what ultimately matter in this 4D chess game and in my opinion the ends justify the means (that’s Machiavelli btw -> “And I swear I’m only cryptic and Machiavellian cause I care”). So I’m not saying anything goes, I’m saying that the intention behind the deception matters, and if the spectacle is being used to protect truth and start a revolution then it can be justified.

“Bring your own lampshade, somewhere there's a party, Here it's never ending, can't remember when it started, Pass around the lampshade, there'll be plenty enough room in jail…If being afraid is a crime, we hang side by side At the swingin' party down the line.” I think this could be a play on the term lampshade hanging bc the tortured poets will be metaphorically hung on gallows for lampshading or “Dropping glasses just to hear them break” (x)(x)(x).

“Took a shiner from the fist of your best friend”?⬇️ I think many of the celebrity feuds we have seen in recent yrs (Olivia Rodrigo vs Sabrina Carpenter for example -> (x)) have been intentional deception and part of the performance or play. I think the tortured poets/New Romantics are deliberately making it look like they are all fighting w/ each other so the audience doesn’t realize that behind the scenes they are all actually working together as a team (x). I think Olivia and Sabrina’s music actually reference each other like a “cross in poetry” and their music is a very big piece of this puzzle so they needed to distract and deceive so that not too many people would fall down the rabbit hole before the time was right.

I also see it as an act of rebellion bc the whole point of being a celebrity is to be a professional people pleaser w/ absolutely no boundaries who gets exploited, used, and treated like a doormat by everyone (Lady Gaga’s Perfect Celebrity). So by intentionally ruining their reputations and doing things they know will make people uncomfortable they reclaim their autonomy in a way. It’s an act of defiance that tells the “big machine” that we’re not objects or pets to be controlled or used but human beings who deserve to be treated with respect and empathy.

Lastly, I want to give my thoughts on what I believe is another important aspect of this 4D chess game. I think a lot more people are following this rabbit hole/mass coming out than we think especially on TikTok. Taylor knows that all she and Karlie have to do is be seen together again and then all hell will break loose and the kaylor fandom will be back from the dead in an instant. Once that happens many many people will fall down this rabbit hole BUT people can’t fall down the rabbit hole if we aren’t here documenting everything and being witnesses. We are the parachute (2nd 🎃 message) and the ace up Taylor’s sleeve (cowboy like me, “Play the cards with spades to start,” "It's poker, he can't see it in my face but I'm about to play my ace"). So that means our job is to give the confused fans and general public a place to go for answers once the braids of lies start unraveling and things start getting weird and chaotic. Having dealt w/ a narcissistic smear campaign before I know how they operate—all of Taylor and Karlie’s enemies (Trumps, Kushners, Kanye, SB^2) will without a doubt try to capitalize on the chaos bc they’re opportunists. Taylor being a mastermind and 4D chess player knows this. So she needs us to be The Albatross (For now she slumbers poem) that allies with The Lighthouse (that’s Taylor and the other tortured poets -> “you should find another guiding light but I shine so bright”) and provides a soft landing and a shield from the smear campaign when they have their fall from grace. “Why would someone you believe to have wings need a parachute?” Bc they’re human, not invincible. "Human human human." Things could legitimately get dangerous and Taylor and her family’s lives could be threatened. And hurting someone violently doesn’t even require laying a finger on them. All you have to do is psychologically and emotionally brutalize them enough and it can cause them to break and then you’re psychotic—not knowing what the hell is real or not and in a paranoid hyper vigilant state—and suicidal (x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x). Narcissists or people with dark triad traits are incredibly good at twisting people’s words and actions, cherry picking flaws, and blackmailing people w/ skeletons in the closet; and Taylor is human, she’s not perfect, so of course there will be plenty of weak spots and skeletons in the closet her enemies will try to exploit and use to discredit her and Karlie. TTPD epilogue -> The court of public opinion is the “mob” in Gladiator and it’s the court of public opinion that decides who wins in a smear campaign. These cryptic messages from the tortured poets are proof of their true intentions and evidence of their integrity and empathy. Like I said before, INTENTIONS are how you determine whether someone is a good person or not.

So TLDR, I think the cryptic messages are a proactive 4D chess move bc Taylor is anticipating that her enemies will try to do a character assassination and accuse them of being hypocrites bc they also gaslight and lie. But the difference is the intention behind the gaslighting and lying. The tortured poets do so out of necessity bc they’re trying to survive and start a revolution but their enemies do so bc they’re sadistic, manipulative, and lack empathy. It’s a Ballad of Songbirds (the tortured poets) and Snakes (their enemies).
