...Okay, I checked again, and apparently it was the shadow puzzles specifically that were installed, by "Trevor & Chamberlain", which is a construction company.

They were added in 1992, before the actual mansion incident, though George Trevor's death was in, like, the 60s. Supposedly.

Like, the last note with a date from George Trevor is the one where he finds his own grave, and one of the zombies wears the same clothes he did when he was alive, but.

Even in the Daughters DLC in RE7, the door from the living room to the main hall still has the ox statuette design on it, and I'm pretty sure the scorpion key door to the basement is still there, and the front door still has the Cerberus heads for the key. Like, even before Eveline got there, it was a Resident Evil 1-ass house.

Slightly more humane, because the shotgun statue doesn't kill you, which. I think is actually a pretty good reason to think Lucas didn't make it. Lucas's death traps in the barn, in the mines, and in Not A Hero. Tend to involve death and dying.

...If anything, the puzzles in the Baker house are less. Morbid. And grotesque. Than a lot of the ones in the Spencer mansion.

But, anyway, this is maybe irrelevant, to 7 itself, but. The realization that George Trevor's company still exists. Made me think of, Lisa Trevor, George's daughter, who because of experiments may or may not be alive and/or immortal. Like, she was in a house that exploded, but. It's not clear if that would kill her.

She's mentally unwell and also, kills people, but.

In an AU where she's mentally stable but. Still been experimented on and still has tentacles and shoulder eyeballs. I'm picturing her going to court and suing the company with her father's name to get her share of the business.

If it happened between RE1 in like 96, 97, 98, and when Eveline got to the Bakers in 2014. Like, could the Bakers be called in to testify about the quality of the company's work, that they went for the company because of the reputation of Trevor's name?

I also think a. Sane!Lisa. Would have things to talk about with Eveline, although. Like, I don't know why she'd hang out with the Baker family socially just because they're weirdos who wanted her dad to redesign their house. The last weirdo who did that killed her dad and mom and stuck needles in her and made her a tentacle monster.

There's 3 ways the entire Baker estate was built and I can't imagine any of them,

1. The Bakers hired a contractor who agreed to build several hidden walk ways behind walls, a mourge, a disection room, etc.

2. This lil old elderly couple built it all by hand SOMEHOW

3. Lucas built everything himself

I feel like this would be impossible ESPECIALLY with just a three year time gap between when Eveline arrived and Ethan showed up (Bc I can't think of a reason this older couple would just have a disection room)

There's just no genuine thing I could think of for how half of their stuff would be realistically built (I know it's just a game but the real world aspects rlly interest me)

Anyone else got any theorys on how it could have all been built?
