it's stunning to me how much taylor seems to be leaning into this release despite how dark, intimate, and devastating this material seems to be.

i think it's so wise of her to be releasing tortured poets during eras for a number of reasons (releasing the material while it's fresh so she can move on to other creative avenues, breaking up the rereleases and keeping the momentum and narrative of her career going, etc.) but also as others have talked about to keep control over how much she needs to perform such sensitive material. i'm also glad that she's releasing it on her tour break so she can be where she'll be supported and can be as visible or invisible as she wants while it's coming out.

but i am SO curious how she'll communicate during or after the release given how much she's pouring out during this pre-release period—it seems like she has so much she wants to say and i wonder to what extent there will be more to say around the songs. even though the album itself seems like it has the potential to say everything that needs saying and intends to do so. you know??

I'm running ASW, I'm modding Wrestling Empire, I'm playing an offline TEW multiplayer game, I'm going to local shows more often than I used to, and I'm catching up on Enjoy Wrestling and New Day's podcast and Colt Cabana's podcast. The wrestling itch is still not fully scratched somehow, I want to Book Stuff.

(you'd think that would translate to a certain level of awareness of what the big leagues are doing! but I don't want to spend the money and time it would take to fully keep up with AEW or NJPW, and heck WWE)
