I think the cool and sexy thing about tbhx having an ensemble cast is that they really use it to show different types of people and different types of thought processes (all of which have been pretty well fleshed out for the main chast). It's such a great way of opening up the story to different types of people irl, so it's a little disheartening to see how many people in this fandom I've seen go "this character doesn't resonate with me and because of that, I think they're poorly written."

It’s cause of all the parallels and how the message really hits close to home for me and aughhh

Pen and Pencil parallel with handling the loss of those close to you with this being especially devastating and ironic considering Pencil is technically responsible for Pen struggling with his loss as she put down the straw that broke the camel’s back (Eraser elim and also reality falling apart methinks) AND the fucking reference to the last episode in TPOT 16 as seen here:

Match and Pen parallel shown with that line transition a and coming into their own characters when forced to be separated with a group that’s formed so much of your personality that you’ve been a part of for so long (IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THEY WERE COUNTERPARTS IN THEIR CLIQUES RAHHHHH)

while I'm showing off my plant bebes. I decided to get and set up a new betta tank, and I'm going fully planted for the first time. I got a pack of bulb starters that had a 50/50 success rate, and so far 4 of them have sprouted!!!!!!! the tall guys took off by the next morning, the little one w the two tiny Sprigs just sprouted yesterday, and actually has a third little sprout you can't see in the pic that came up just between my lunch break and getting home from work

the fourth one I thought was a dud but just finally realized I had actually lmaoooo planted upside down. I saw the poor little sprouts sticking up under the bulb before I left to go back to work and almost screamed. I couldn't wait to get home and flip her over, I'm rooting for her to make it (pun intended)

Contrary to popular theory, I don't think Soap has sisters or comes from a big family. I like to think he too has a rough family history and wanted to be out of it as soon as he can, kind of similar to what I thought about for Price.

I feel like Soap is terrified of becoming a failure like the people he came from, the kind of failure that just festers in small towns and not the kind that makes it to the news. He doesn't want to rot in a cycle of bitterness, of living the way like everyone does, easily forgotten and living a mould that felt more like a jail than a path to normalcy.
