Friends, Romans, countrymen, potential saviors:

We took one of our community cats to the vet yesterday to get his balls taken off and to see about a wound on his head

And long story short, Johnny Purrdreau is the sweetest, most delightful, utterly darling boy. He hasn’t stopped purring all day today and just wants loves and pets and food and more pets and snuggles. We cannot keep him! We have three cats and he’s FIV+ (but otherwise has totally clean bloodwork) so my mom is dead set against him staying with us.

I cannot emphasize enough how loving this cat is. He’s around a year old and has had a hard go of it - he’s been a scrapper and has shown up at our place limping, bleeding, and crying - and yesterday we were finally able to get him to the vet and get him taken care of. But now he’s going to have to go back outside and it’s breaking my heart.

Johnny is currently living near Sacramento, but I will drive him anywhere within a six hour distance if someone wants to adopt him. He’s freshly neutered, vaccinated for rabies, on flea treatment, was dewormed, given antibiotics for the (rapidly healing) owies on his head and paw. Twenty four hours inside has shown us that he knows how to use a litter box (he currently has liquid poop, but that’s something that can be addressed) and hasn’t shown any indications of spraying.

then he untangles one of his hands from your thighs and trails it up your body, his mouth still feverishly moving against you as his fingertips burn on your skin. and when he can basically feel how close you are to letting go, he tangles his hands in yours, intertwining fingers as your body jerks in pleasure.

when you do reach that high, he keeps going, moving his tongue impossibly faster as he pushes down your arching body, only smirking at the pleas and whines that fall from your mouth - he doesn’t have any intention of stopping for a long time.

The trouble with POV in writing.

POV CHOICES: A Tragedy in Three Acts

Me: starts writing in first person Wow this is so personal, so deep. I'm living this character. → wants to show a scene without the main character present → cries in internal monologue

Switches to third person limited. Now I’m mighty... What I decide goes, but only for one person. Great. → wants to show what the love interest is thinking without breaking style → cries in head-hopping temptation

Considers omniscient POV. Now I am God. I see all. I know all. → Reader: “Who’s talking?” → Me: “...idk anymore.”

Solution (or is it): Different pov devided by name. Per chapter? YES? or no not really?

Conclusion: There is no perfect POV. Only suffering. Send help. Or snacks.
