happy birthday to ueki-loid(vocaloid 3) !!!!!!!!! [jul 24]
Tumblr media
Ueki-loid is a japanese synth licensed to Music Airport Inc., and announced in 2011. he was never publicly released and exists as a private vocaloid. he is voiced by the late Ueki Hitoshi, though Ueki Hitoshi's eldest son(Hiro Kouichi)'s voice was also used. ueki-loid's creation was commissioned by ueki hitoshi's family. an album featuring ueki-loid was supposed to be released, but never was. ueki-loid is the first synth of "Legend of VOCALOID", which is a collection of synths voiced by deceased singers. the vocaloid hide (voiced by Hideto Matsumoto) is also a part of legend of vocaloid, and im pretty sure there are no other. from the vocalsynth fandom wiki- "The voicebank was developed as follows: First, they made a voicebank from the voice of Hiro Kouichi (surname first), the eldest son of Ueki Hitoshi. Then, by a certain mathematical method, they constructed a transformation function which represented the difference in voice between the two people. Finally, they applied the function to the voicebank."

日本一のホラ吹き男 Nippon Ichi-no Horafuki Otoko (Japanese No.1 blowing man) (1964)
初 等 Hajime Hitoshi was a strong candidate for the Olympics, but his dream was cut short by an accident that severed his Achilles tendon. However, he is encouraged when he reads in his ancestor's life story that his ancestor succeeded by blowing a big whistle. He quickly infiltrated the company and rose through the ranks at an unusually fast pace through a variety of means.
植木等 Ueki Hitoshi is an actor, comedian, singer and guitarist. One of Crazy Cats's member.

Kiyotaka headcanon...?
Sure! For these imagine THH is set in 2010 when the game came out.
-So first the sadder one. I imagine Kiyotaka grew up in a very nationalist household, what with his father's guilt of what grandfather had done. I imagine Takaaki to be a very firm in his authority in the family, but he also loved his son. The strictness compared with the affection kind of messed up Taka's comprehension of how love has to be. There has to always be a hierarchy to it. Takaaki's no nonsense nature that would punish any outburst and praise any achievement made him a perfectionist at the brink of breaking any single second. I imagine to keep himself on track he always tried to find a fixation which was mostly his school life as it was so controllable and showed the discipline he'd worked so hard for.
-Toranosuke used to always listen to 60s Japanese music when Takaaki was young (see: Ueki Hitoshi, Harumi Miyako, The Peanuts, etc). Takaaki the raised Taka up with retro music as well. Taka loved the group Johnnys but he especially loved Teruhiko Aoi. His favorite song is Anata Dake Wo (あなただけを) by him! On that note, he didn't know Teruhiko was the voice actor for Joe in Tomorrow's Joe since I don't think Takaaki had him watch TV all that much unless it was the news. When Hifumi finds out about this he convinces Taka to watch the show with him (Albeit not being the type of anime Hifumi himself would usually watch, he knows it would make his friend happy!) Taka ends up really enjoying it!!
-I do, in fact, think, he's queer. Whether gay or bi I haven't really decided yet but regardless he's very closeted and he considers his ability to resist temptation of anything sexual as a plus regarding his discipline, regardless of how uncomfortable it makes him feel.
That's it for now XP!!
