has anyone seen the show Humans?? i just finished season 1 and I am thinking about merthur in their universe... Arthur as a detective and Merlin as Colin Morgan's character ofc... anyway had to write a little scene

The answers were so close, Arthur could almost taste it. This was the location he'd tracked them to, but his quarry was already gone. All he had was this wreck of a man, with sweat matting his shaggy dark hair and desperation shining in his bright blue eyes. 

Arthur shoved him against the wall, hard.

“Where are the machines? What have you done with them?”

The man groaned and reached for something. Arthur tensed, but the man only pressed a palm into his side. 

"The better question," he panted, "is what you have done to us."

When he pulled his hand away, it was covered in blood. Beneath it, a wire poked through the flesh. 

Arthur froze, staring. He looked into the man’s eyes, now drooping with exhaustion. He looked at the man’s blood, bright red against his skin.

“You’re… but you’re human.”

The man started to laugh, but it turned into a cough. He sagged against the wall, until Arthur’s forearm across his chest seemed to be the only thing holding him up.

“I was,” the man agreed.

He was clearly dying. And if he did, Arthur would never know the truth about humanity. He’d never know the truth about them. 

Arthur let go of him, and he slid down the wall. Arthur caught him and lowered him gently to the ground, then crouched in front of him. 

“Tell me what you need.”

i never thought i would see a full queer show about an artificial intelligence android and a human fall in love in my lifetime. i have already thought it was a miracle and a blessing when i was watching scifi british tv series Humans back in 2017 and saw Niska and Astrid fall in love, and these girls didn't even have much screen time. now i have 10 episode long Anti Reset that is such a beautiful, tender, lovely and sweet show. qls continue to fill my life with happiness, i am so very grateful
