So after getting back into Mortal Kombat not too long ago due to getting Ghostface for Christmas, I forgot this guy exists and by 'this guy' I mean Homelander - that said, I also recently found out this dude got put into COD, and although I haven't seen The Boys (and therefore know next to NOTHING about it lol), listening to his voice I got to thinking: huh, you know this guy's VA* wouldn't be half bad as Kizami!

That brings us to here, naturally lol - this took me a day to complete, and while it definitely shows/could use some work, I mostly just wanted to smash together some crappy memes and test out a new video editor I got for myself (this is like the 4th one I've tried and so far it's worked a LOT better than my previous ones, so hopefully I can try making more stuff in the future whenever I get the chance?)

My main inspo for this was based off of those short text meme based videos I used to watch all the time growing up (think something like this, for example), and again, while this video isn't close to being perfect, I had a lot of fun putting it together and testing out the features in the editor, so there's that I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anywho, to anyone that sees this, please enjoy and here's looking forward to whenever I can crawl out from the rock that is work to post something original again orz -I'm still actively working on clearing out my likes and ask box, so making this video was really just a treat for myself ngl. After I get my blog sorted out, I'm planning on updating some stuff on my AO3 so whenever I get around to that eventually, I will do what I can ¯_(ツ)_/¯~

*From what I understand, Homelander's actual actor portrayed him in the animated spin - off of The Boys as well as in COD, but didn't in Mortal Kombat, which is unfortunate bc imo Antony Starr is actually a decent VA! That said, whenever The Boys ends, I think if he did more animated work that would be pretty cool, but after hearing how Homelander is supposed to ACTUALLY sound outside MK made me immediately think of Kizami lol, so while I doubt Starr would ever do anime works, with Corpse Party getting a new game sometime this year (at least according to some listings I've seen online), I think I've definitely found a good headcanon voice for him that rivals the previous one I had (up until now, seeing their similarities with each other, I've always headcanoned Kizami sounding like Zapp Brannigan ngl, but again Homelander isn't a bad voice claim either). Also sorry for the walls of text, but if you've read everything up until now, thank you~

Fantastic question! I think growing up in Wayne Manor would make it exceptionally difficult to hide the vigilantism from you. They could 100% do it, but it would take about a thousand times more effort concealing it from you than the general public, so I don't think they would.

You're very young when you start really piecing it together, though, so they're gonna have to tell you what happened in child-friendly ways.

The Littlest Wayne: Post-Battle Injuries

1. Bruce

"Wha' happen, daddy?"

This man is not a good liar, but he dodges the truth like it's an Olympic sport. Like any public figure worth their salt, he's gonna answer the question without answering the question.

"Well, when Daddy has to go be Batman, sometimes he gets hurt. The boo-boos will go away after a while, and everything is going to be fine. You'll have to hug gently for a few days."

What he doesn't say is that he took a toyota corolla pushing 70 to the ribs and can feel the broken bones shifting and rubbing together like wet chopsticks under his skin, it's fucking nauseating, and he needs to go pass out as soon as he puts you down for a nap.

2. Dick

"Uh-oh, Dinky hurty?"

If Bruce is admired for keeping his cool in the wake of grievous injury, then Dick wrote the fucking book on it. His picture shows up when you google "gaslight gatekeep girlboss." He could lose a limb and convince you it's always been like that with a straight face. You'll never catch his ass lacking.

"Dinky fell down," he says easily, scooping you into his arms, "but he's fine! See? All okay!" His face doesn't even twitch from all his wounds getting aggravated. There is shrapnel embedded in his back from being thrown through a window and tumbling down the roof. The broken-off blade of a knife is jammed up in his thigh. His right hand has lost all feeling in it from blocking a pipe getting swung at him. There are black spots in his vision. He's lost so much blood it's nothing short of divine intervention keeping him conscious.

You'd bet your ass if you need him to go sprint a 10k right now, though, he's lacing up his tennis shoes.

3. Tim

"Timmy, what wrong?"

He's gonna tell you the truth, and he's the only one that'll tell you the truth. He'll just omit the gorey bits because they're not beneficial to you.

"Oh, this? Bad guy got me good with his knife. It hurts a lot so don't touch it... I just said don't touch it...okay fine, go wash your hands first before you touch it."

He didn't like being kept out of the loop as a child, especially a child that had to raise himself, so he tells you about anything and everything you ask. He'll tell you what medical supplies he's grabbing and why. He'll tell you his estimated recovery time. He'll tell you what wounds the others have, if any. He'll let you touch the safe tools, like gauze and bandages and antibiotic ointment. He'll show you how to apply them, too, and then quickly take you to the sink to wash the blood from your hands.

4. Jason

"Jay-Jay ouchies?"

He's the most unintentionally awkward about it. I think being brought back to life in the Lazarus Pit really fucked up his ability to feel pain. The major injuries still sting — gunshots, stabs, broken bones — but bruises and black eyes and sprains fly under the radar very often.

"Uh, no," he shrugs, looking at the myriad of colorful bruising you just pointed out on his arm. "No ouchies." He's not exactly lying, it doesn't hurt, but it is very clearly an injury. This confuses and upsets you often.

5. Damian

"Dami got a booboo?"

He's lying every single time. He's your older brother. He's a dangerous killing machine. His skill and combat prowess are unmatched. He needs you to think he's incredible and amazing and cool.

"Those half-wit simpletons could never dream of landing a hit on me. Any blood on my clothes is simply not mine."

One of the goons actually clipped his side with a bullet and it really, really hurts. His hands are flexing and he's got sweat running down his neck from the pain. He would actually rather die than let you know that, though.

+ just in general, i think he'd be so excited to introduce you to them. obviously they're not blood-related, but they still mean so much to him and i'm sure that they'd support him in whatever he does, but let's say they didn't really approve of his partner because a) you're a piece of shit or b) you ate their dog or something idk, he'd be heartbroken for sure, but don't worry, they love you :D

+ as you're walking to their house together you'd be like, "impress australian mama and papa on the go" and then he'd for sure look at you with this 'you did not just say that' look, but then do that shit where he chuckles while shaking his head why tf am i being so specific

+ let's hope you're good with dogs because as soon as rin rings that doorbell, winnie is gonna start barking like there's no tomorrow. if you're cool with them, winnie will 100% lick you up like she's claiming you as part of her territory, but if you're not good with dogs i feel like rin would let russell and lori know beforehand. they'd 100% understand but poor winnie might be locked in another room during dinner LOL

+ i obviously can't predict the personality of every reader, but no matter how different, lori would be saying yes to the wedding invitation before it's even thought about. woman has her outfit picked out already. she loves you and you can tell by the way she won't stop talking to you or asking questions about either yourself or the relationship. maybe she'll ask so much that russell will be like "ok, i think it's time to calm down now, hun"

+ russell . . . well his personality isn't exactly detailed in the anime, but i think he's such a chill dad, like he doesn't have kids, but i feel like he'd so be a girl dad. rin's dating a biker? ok. rin's dating the most unathletic, swimming-hater, water repellent and gymphobic person ever? strange, but he'll take it. just don't hurt him lol

+ it's like they've laid out a red carpet at the doorway, not for rin lol, BUT FOR YOU!! their most esteemed and welcomed guest. lori claims to have been waiting for this moment since rin lived with them. she'd probably fuss about how their house is too small for such a wonderful person like you, but then rin would be like "lori, it's ok, we're not like that" but she's just so sweet, she'd always say "we don't want your feet to get cold! wear these slippers!" or "if you're feeling cold, let me know! i'll amp up the heating until we're sweating!"

+ dinner would be so extravagant. not saying that haru's unimportant, but lori might put more effort into this meal, but this is only because it's you, you're clearly not just a friend. rin's brought his entire ass soulmate, how is she not gonna go all-out. she's gonna have messaged rin before your flight asking for every single detail about your dietary requirements, your allergies, what you like or don't like and if you're the type to be like "oh no, it's really ok! i'm good with anything!" she'd tell you that you're spitting absolute nonsense and that it's a privilege for her to be able to do this for her host-son

+ since russell and lori are a married couple, they've been through the whole oooh butterflies in the tummy, omggg my one and only yayyy and he's the only for meee shit, but let's be real i don't think rin's the type to really express that in words. he'd most definitely say at least one sappy thing during dinner like "yeah, my motivation for swimming has definitely gone up" or "i still can't believe i'm so lucky" which might make you go :( IN A GOOD WAY, but he wouldn't gonna go full on sob story because he's got his pride on the line. and bro cries a lot too, he cannot make himself cry in front of his host-parents

+ don't be too alarmed when you feel rin's eyes on you all the time. whether you're speaking to him or russell or lori, he is going to be staring at you all the mf time to the point where russell will point it out and go "rin, you're gonna shoot lasers at this point!" and bro has to snap out of it

+ oh i feel like he'd be the type to pile up your plate too. his favourite food is steak, so i'm sure lori must have whipped something up. if you like steak, he's going to give you more steak than he eats himself, he's going to give you the best parts and even if you insist that he should have them he's gonna say that he's ok and that he's happy when you eat. if you don't like steak, he'll probably offer it once just because it's so good, but if not, pile it up with something else

+ lori will see this and i bet she'll be like "aw, look at our rin being so sweet! always the sharer!" and rin's like "stop it, lori"

+ lowk think that lori will do more speaking while russell just listens. not because he's disinterested but just personality-wise, he seems more quiet than his wife. she obviously has that motherly tendency so she might be like "rin, you did a very good job, you got incredibly blessed and you must MUST treat each other with the same amount of love and respect" while russell is the 'yes, yes, i agree, what she said' kind of man

+ if you're the type to say "i'm really grateful and lucky to have met rin" lori's definitely gonna be like, "ohh i think we all know that he's lucky to meet you" then everyone laughs, russell will probably back her up with "rin probably had to beg!"

+ the entirety of dinner would just be russell and lori making fun of rin. russell will surely be like "so, mate, got your wedding date booked yet?" before saying, "our boy rin's going to be crying when he reads his vows!" then lori might join in on the fun and say "i'll be there to record everything!"

+ russell and lori would do everything they could to accommodate for the two of you. rin would appreciate this so so much because it's literally his two worlds talking together. he'd be so happy throughout the entire evening that you, his most prized possession, is having fun chatting with the couple that basically raised him almost a quarter of his life. he knows what he should be grateful for and how important this is to remember

+ i'm sure russell and lori would insist that you stay the night because no way they're making you spend your night in an ass hotel. they'd send rin away lol but not you

+ 100% rin's going to be a bit emotional and clingy during the night. he's going to keep talking about how he's so thankful that you're in his life and that you got the courage to meet them because it's really not an easy thing to do. he's gonna hold you tight and whisper things how he really loves you and how he really wants what russell said about the wedding come true - if you'll allow it, of course. YOU WILL RIGHT???

Madrick Roslof's House

(disclaimer: i know it's shown to be a cutesie little cottage in the module but hush i have an overactive imagination)

I took some HEAVY, HEAVY inspiration from @sweet-reaper's fic What Lies Between Us (as in, it was supposed to be a recreation but i'm more than 100% sure i messed some things up) so go give it tons of love!!!

The Outside (front & back)

I'll admit I'm not the greatest exterior decorator, but I'm still happy with how it came out! I was going for a building that wasn't constructed professionally, but rather by the people living in it. Personalized, asymmetrical, kinda like my grandparents house...

The Foyer/Livingroom

You'll notice right away that Roslof has an absolutely chaotic variety of furniture, and that's completely intentional! I wanted it to feel like this house has been lived in for decades, becoming more of a place to store all of Roslof's trinkets rather than an organized space. For sims reasons I gave him a TV, but if it were purely dnd-based that wouldn't be there lol. The dollhouse is there for Hootsie, who's a toddler in my game!

The Kitchen

Kremy's baby. He practically lives in this room. Despite it being Roslof's house and kitchen, I REALLY leaned into the fact that this is Kremy's space. It's a lot cleaner than some other parts of the house, and feels slightly more updated while keeping that awesome vintage vibe. Not a ton to say, it's probably the 2nd most accurate to my initial vision while reading reaper's fic.

The Dining Room

Not a ton to say here! I honestly didn't even intend on adding a dining room at first, but realized i had an empty room that served no purpose, so why not make it a dining room? I'm really happy with the eclectic collection of chairs, and I felt like a genius for putting one to the side after I replaced it with Hootsie's high chair

~ UPSTAIRS ~

The Guest Room (currently Kremy & Gideon's room)

The MOST accurate to my vision while reading reaper's fic, I think the only part I wish I could change is that the table in the back is meant to be a vanity table. I also would've added more clutter and the shrine to the Baron, but I kinda just don't have the space/CC for that </3 otherwise I love this room!!

Roslof's Room (formerly, now deceased)

This one's the most lackluster in my opinion, I really didn't have a clear picture of what his room looks like. It's also likely getting changed in the future as Hootsie grows up--Maybe I'll move Gideon and Kremy into here at some point... either way it isn't awful, I wouldn't mind spending my final days in here.

Guest Room 2 (Frost & Gricko & Hootsie's room)

I think this is where I strayed the most from reaper's story. Not totally sure how the arrangement is in the fic, i haven't reread it in a minute, but I know I typically make the three other guys all bunk together... but as you can see, this room is WAY too small for that. So instead it's just Frost & Gricko & Hootsie. Didn't put a ton of effort in, but that's mainly because I don't think Frost or Gricko have very many worldly possessions to their names.

~ BASEMENT ~

The Workshop (Gideon's baby)

I literally just DON'T have the CC to make this work that great, but I tried to still arrange things the same way they looked in my mind! Again not much to say, without the proper CC it kinda just became a filler room.

The Storage Closet (Torbek's room)

Poor Torbek... FJDSKFS I'm actually so sorry I put him down here partially as a joke and partially because I couldn't remember where he sleeps in the fic. and because I was pretty much entirely out of space anywhere else. Sorry big guy, I gave you a night light as consolation

~ THE GREENHOUSE ~

The Greenhouse (the greenhouse)

THE GREENHOUSE!! It's my absolute favorite part of the build it's just downright gorgeous, I tried so so hard to make it work despite not having the correct CC/DLC, and I'm super happy with how it came out!! Literally all I would add is some hanging planters from the banisters this thing is great.

Begin Again Chapter 2

Summary: Ever since Bella came back to Forks things between y/n and her boys have been different. Embry and Quil stopped answering phone calls and texts, they’ve even been avoiding her everytime she shows up at their house. So y/n does the only thing she can think to do, she latches onto Jacob just like Bella, and when he starts acting like Embry and Quil did, she makes the decision to not put so much effort into a friendship that is clearly one sided. But what happens one day when Sam’s pack is in town at the same time as y/n and her new friends and two certain boys imprint on their former best friend? And what happens when a former best friend doesn’t feel the same way?

Authors note: Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! I am actually so freaking excited that so many people liked the first chapter. When I posted this I never thought that I would be getting any kind of traction or reads but the 20 people that liked my first chapter are really making me feel good about myself and my writing skills. I don't know how consistent my chapter updating will be I have a really hard time with sticking to things but the enthusiasm i'm feeling after posting for the first time is really making my productivity flow.

Chapter 1 | Master list | Chapter 3

For the next two weeks your routine is almost exactly the same. You meet Scott and Stiles by your locker every morning and sit with their friends at lunch. It is such a crazy thing to think that if you had gotten to school any later that day then you would have never met them. And looking back, you can’t imagine not being friends with them now. They were filling the void that Embry and Quil had left in your heart. 

Your life was looking up and you were doing great, even Bella seemed to be doing better. She was hanging out with you and Jacob, and had even started going out with some of the kids from school. You and Stiles were getting closer to each other too. You spent most of your time in class, the ones you shared, talking to him and goofing off. You both had gotten in trouble a few times but that didn't deter you from talking. Like now. 

“Hey, so I was thinking about going into town this weekend, I need to do some clothes shopping and I was wondering, if perhaps, you’re free?” You had been meaning to ask him for the past few days but you had only now just worked up the courage. It was the first time you would be spending any time together outside of school and you were nervous. 

“Oh, uhh. Yeah totally!” His response was almost instant and the way that his cheeks turned a light pink told you that he didn't mean to answer you that fast. “Um, I mean, Yeah. I’m down to go with you.” Stiles blushed even harder and then turned forward to pay attention to what the teacher was saying. 

“Okay, cool. I’ll come pick you up around noon on Saturday?” 

“That’s good.” That was the end of the conversation. It seemed he was too caught up in the fact that you had asked him out to remember to talk to you for the rest of class. 

After school that day Jacob was leaning on your car, waiting for you to come out. He had been doing this a lot lately, waiting for you to get out of school so he could get a ride from you back to the reservation. Which didn’t really make sense to you but you figured if he liked doing this then why change it. 

“You will never guess what I did today.” It was the first thing that came out of your mouth when you got close enough to him. You couldn't wait to tell him about your hang out with Stiles on Saturday. “I asked Stiles on a date and he said yes!” You couldn't contain your excitement.  It was too hard to give him the time to guess what you did so you decided to just tell him. 

“Wow, that's a big step for you.” Jacob smiled, glad to see you happy. He knew that after the last few months you had that you deserved all the happiness you could get. “When are you going? Your sister asked me to go to the movies with her and this Mike guy on Sunday night and I really don't want to have to deal with it all alone.” 

“Well, we’re hanging out Saturday afternoon so I'm totally free to go with you guys on Sunday.” Jacob had had a crush on Bella for as long as you could remember, but you knew that he didn't want to be stuck in an awkward situation with her and some other guy. 

“Sooooo?” Stiles drawled, “what exactly are we looking for? Or what exactly are you looking for?” You two had been out for about 2 hours now and so far all you had found was a puffy green jacket and a pair of fluffy brown socks, which you only bought because they matched Stiles eyes. 

“I don’t know yet. I guess I'll know when I see it.” Your reply was nonchalant but you knew exactly what you were looking for. You just didn't want to let him know before you actually found it. Last week when you and your dad were in town you had seen a book that Stiles had been talking about religiously and with his birthday coming up you thought it would be the perfect gift. 

“Do you want to grab lunch too or do you want to just eat at my house?” you ask him, not seeing the way he turns to look at you with heart eyes. 

“We can go to the diner after you're done shopping.” He suggests. 

“Yea totally.” 

That’s when you heard it, the loud rumble of laughter from a group of boys at the other end of the street. You both looked up to where the noise came from. A slight gasp came from your parted lips as you saw Quil and Embry play fighting with the other boys from Sam’s group. Your face dropped as the two boys seemed to look up in unison and lock eyes with you. 

“Do you know them? They look like they know you.” Stiles asked, looking over at you to see you in some kind of trance staring at them. “Hey, y/n/n? Are you okay?” 

That seemed to snap you out of whatever daze you were stuck in. You looked away from them and back to Stiles before nodding and grabbing his hand to drag him into the nearest building. Which happened to be the bookstore you were looking for in the first place. 

“Sorry about that, they were just some old friends of mine. We don't really talk anymore and I haven’t seen them in some time so it was kind of shocking.” The apology spilled out of your mouth before you could stop it but that make it untrue. It was hard seeing them like that, happy and having fun when they left you feeling the way that they did. But you also couldn't help feeling a sort of resentment at them. 

“Nah it’s alright.” He dismissed taking a look around the bookstore. You had completely forgotten why you were in this store for a second, but when you remembered you had to hurry and spot the book before he could. 

Luckily you were able to find it and discreetly buy it while he looked around the store and grabbed a few things off the shelfs. When he was done checking out you slipped your hand into his, locked fingers, and led him out of the store. 

They had never felt like this before. As they locked eyes with you they saw their future flash before their eyes. You, Embry, Quil, and a happy little family. The euphoria and sense of calm that washed over them as they saw all of this was the most exquisite feeling either of the boys had ever felt. It was like nothing they had ever experienced and they had an inkling that they would never feel it again without you. 

When they watched you grab that boy's hand and run off it was like their entire world came crashing down. Their hearts, now beating in unison, felt like they were cracking. Before they could ever have you, you were gone and with someone else. Embry looked away first, face crumbling under the weight of these newfound emotions. He had never felt anything so fast, and to have it all ripped away from him so suddenly felt like a knife right into his soul. 

Quill was no better. The two boys had always shared everything growing up, they were the closest to each other of all the pack members. So it made sense that they would imprint on the same girl. And of course that girl would be their childhood best friend. The same girl they pinned after for years before turning for the first time and never speaking to her again. It was the hardest thing they ever had to do, and now, because of their actions, they were reaping the consequences. 

The dejection and rejection they were feeling was amplified by each other, every emotion coursing through their veins heightened by what the other was feeling. They wanted to whine and curl up into a ball at your feet and beg you to forgive them for the rest of their lives if that's what it took to make it up to you. 

It seemed as though the other boys around them knew not to say anything. No teasing remarks or mocking jabs were taken at the expense of the boys. All of them could sense that Embry and Quil had just imprinted on you. Everyone saw the way that you ran off like the sight of them would burn you if you looked for too long. 

“Come on, I think it’s time to head back.” it was Sam who spoke up. Always the one to take charge and take the lead in situations where no one knew what to do. But even now, he was struggling to find the right words to say or the right actions to take that could help these boys. He had never heard of an imprintee rejecting their mate. 

“No, but, we should go talk to her.” Embry whined out. Just the thought of leaving you behind after just finding out that he was supposed to spend the rest of his life with you sounded like agony. He would rather never be able to shift again than leave without you. 

“I think it's pretty clear that she doesn’t want to talk to either of you right now. Give it time. Think about how you want to approach her, what you’ll say. Right now is not the time or place for any of this, especially after that reaction.” Sam reasoned. He knew that getting everyone back to the pack house right now was his only option. He couldn't let Quil or Embry do something stupid and impulsive that could put people in danger. 

Everyone could see the way that the two boys hesitated to do what Sam asked. The longing and desire to be with you, so present in their eyes that they were waiting for something to happen. So Sam did the only reasonable thing he could think to do in that moment, and he commanded everyone to head back to the pack house at that instant. 

Begrudgingly Embry and Quil did as they were told and turned around to head back to the house. Looking back every so often, while the shop you had disappeared into was still in sight, to see if they could catch another glimpse of you through the windows or see you leaving. Just as the shop was about to disappear from their view the door gently swung open and you walked out laughing, head thrown back and a hand on your stomach as you full body cackled at whatever the mystery boy you were with voiced. Said boy, who was holding your other hand as he exited the building after you.

It tore their hearts even further in two. So with their tails, real and figurative, tucked between their legs they made their way back. Heads hung low and spirits completely drained.

What had started out as a normal Saturday had officially become one of the worst days of their lives.

Brief Silence, Ongoing Progress

Sharing a sketch I did to plan my prior sketches and updating you on progress... Summary: The project is progressing nicely, but that means fewer posts as I keep editing the fanfic (not drawing art). Detailed story: Lately, my breaks have been super focused on improving the fanfic and it needs to keep like that. Actually, I need a short of a break before I continue working on either (fanfic/art). It has been an intense couple of days of editing at every free minute, so all bits of the story were fresh in my mind as I made changes that involved a lot of back and forth in between chapters.

As of now, the story's 2 POVs are finally woven together to my best ability. And all major inconsistencies I could find are fixed. Some descriptive areas turned into proper scenes, too. Which extended the current draft to... 17k words!? *panics* The next phase is still story stuff like adding bits to paint the scene (smells, location description, clothing,...). Though I also need to cut whatever is repetitive. So the word count will go down, right? RIGHT? Then the last phase will be the "written improvement". This includes steps such as changing the tense in half the story -ugh-, or looking for echoes. And an English check. And a beta reader check (♡♡♡!) + apply their relevant feedback. And art!

Hopefully, the written improvement phase can be done gradually and chapter by chapter. I may be experienced in storytelling, and I love the entire process. But this became almost overwhelming for my first creative writing attempt. I really hope it ends up decent. If only ONE person enjoys it, I will be happy that I put the effort into sharing it.

Anyway, no release dates or such yet. This is a rare project where, even if I'm personally committed to release fully, I do it for fun 100%. Adding a timeline defeats the purpose unless the content is much closer to release-ready. So, before taking a short break, I felt like sharing the progress since it looks like some people are curious to read it already. OMG so humbled! And I didn't want to worry if I "disappeared" for a while.

For viewers enjoying my fanart, I do have a big craving for more fanfic parts I want to draw. It will be cute. Or dramatic. Oh, poor characters. Love them.

marauders band au

drummer!pete. he enjoys not being front and centre but still be able to have those moment that hes rocking it on the drum solos, he will never admit it but he loves knowing that he basically controls the song because if he changes the beat then everything else is messed up too. also, i think he has a lot of pent up worries and anger that is allow him to works out and just perfom.

bassist!remus. he likes the ability to be in the front and mess around with the others a bit (maybe flirting with a couple audience members) but he doesn't have to do as much as sirius does on the guitar. he also loves having his moments but also blending in with the in the songs. he loves wondering over to where pete is sometimes and watching the other two during the guitar solos and getting a break for a bit - also just chatting with pete. he will often go over to james or sirius and annoy them by stealing the attnetion of whoever their flirting with.

lead guitarist!sirius. he loves showing off with knee slides and crowd surfing. he also loves the fact that this will piss off his parents - him waltzing around stage in tight little leather pants, a white tank top, tons of silver chains and jewerlly and his hair half up in a man bun to keep it out of his face while he winks at lovely ladies and drinks beer between each song.

rhythm guitarist!james. he loves going back to back with sirius while they both shred on the guitar. he plays the main melody while sirius does his little riffs and solos but he likes it this way. he likes having attention but he prefers rhythm as its more repetitive so he can focus on other things. unlike sirius, each show he find a different girl in the audience and flirts with only her the whole time - after the show he gets their number, maybe gives them a kiss, if rarely goes further (but not never) - my man basically falls inlove at every show but it never really sticks.

and the vibe of the band is 100% dependant on the lead singer

singer!remus would create the arctic monkeys. he is alex turner - and he would definitely change the song so people cant sing along because it annoy him when their out of time.

singer!james means the band is basically 5sos. you can't tell me that this boy didn't make it a boyband. important note: 5sos not 1D (sorry)

but singer!sirius and we're getting queen. the mix of rock with that slightly artsy vibe is perfect, i can really see them writing bohemian rhapsody as a joke and releasing it but it actually blowing up and making them famous.

when it comes to writing music, its a group effort (but mainly remus). james and sirius give the rough draft and remus turns it into lyrics while pete comes up with the rhythms and sirius puts little guitars riffs in while james melts everything together with his vocals. (remus definitely has songs thats hes written that are more like ballads but he keeps them private.)

the audiences watch james and sirius blow kisses to eachother across stage or even kiss eachothers cheek ect. constantly.

at first the fans are confused whats going on but slowly they pick up whats actually happening. wolfstar. (obviously)

they notice how sirius watches remus when he has those moments of confidence on stage and joins him, playing back to back.

they notice the way that remus' eyes latch onto sirius' shoulder muscles when they glisten with sweat during the show.

and the way they whisper things into eachothers ear during the show and after.

1: What drawing software/hardware do you use? Are you a traditional only artist? What Brushes do you use?

I use clip studio paint and an ancient wacom tablet that's been chugging since 2018 :]

I very rarely do traditional art, and for them, i use a moleskine sketchbook and micron plastic nib pens!

2: Is your Inbox getting my message?

Yes it is! I just usually have around 100 other asks in my inbox that im also working through!! If your ask was super nonspecific as well, I might have deleted it because I didn't know where to start! Sometimes i just delete stuff because its sat around too long and i feel awkward answering it! i am a very busy person.

3. Are you taking commissions?

I open 2-4 slots for commissions every stream! I also open non stream commissions every now and then around the middle of the month typically!

4. What are your thoughts on [Insert TFP character here]/why don't you like tfp

I don't have any because I only watched half a season of that show and got bored to death! and i dislike the show because the pacing is weird, the writing is sub par, the characters bore me to death save for a few notable exceptions, the music is boring, the designs are weird and complicated, and every attempt at comedy falls flat. aka, its just not my cup of tea!

Additionally, over the year I've been posting on this blog, I have been asked at least once every single month for an answer to this question, and it hasn't changed and people still don't read my faq. and suspiciously after three of those times, my blog has been mysteriously pixelated.

... I'm not saying anyone reported me. But im not not saying that.

5. Will you draw/What are your thoughts on MPREG/MECHPREG

I don't like pregnancy when it involves a fetus, though I do enjoy dirty talk and scenarios surrounding breeding! I do enjoy oviposition/egg laying, but I prefer it as part of a monster fucking scenario.

In addition, I have a GENUINE FEAR AND DISCOMFORT of situations regarding fetal pregnancy. Talking about it makes me feel sick and upset. Please try to take that into account.

6. What would you think [insert character/pairing here]'s kids would look like/what would [insert character] look like as a kid/do you think [insert couple here] would be great parents?

I don't like talking about kids or children!! and I don't like talking about couples as parents in general! It's really uncomfortable for me PERSONALLY, as someone who primarily draws and posts pornographic content, to comment on children. I really don't have anything to add to the conversation, and I prefer to talk about the characters themselves rather than hypothetical relationships they may have with children.

If you'd have $100 every time someone asked you that, you definitely don't need to work again. People and their fascination about your relationship with those two aforementioned dancers is just crazy. Though you really couldn't blame them. Those two are just gorgeous and everyone wants them. Men and women alike and you're just lucky that you're in a relationship with both of them. Yup, the one and only Y/N is in a relationship with Bada Lee and Monika Shin. And no, you're not cheating because it was their idea to share with each other since you hated choosing and they didn't want to put you in such predicament.

"Hey angel, what are you doing?" Monika asked and placed a kiss on your cheek as you sat on the couch of your apartment, just browsing on your Instagram feed.

"Oh you know, watching pro Y/N x Monika and Y/N x Bada fans fight each other. Then there's some thirsty straight guys saying we're all just besties. Even the media is just playing us off as best friends when it's clear as the sky that the three of us are gay." you chuckled and Monika just shakes her head in amusement. If you were gonna be honest, you had doubts about this relationship if it's gonna work or not. I mean, you're much younger than them and it's not too common to have a relationship with the same sex in your country. To top that, there's three of you involved. But a year has gone by but your relationship with each other remained stronger, the bond you had with your two lovers is unbreakable and you couldn't imagine your life without Bada or Monika anymore.

The three of you spent the whole afternoon just celebrating the success of your song. Even taking lots of pictures together, none are shy to flaunt your relationship with each other on social media. "Let's take a picture there!" you told Monika and Bada before literally dragging the two inside the photo booth. It was cramped considering they're taller than you but you made it work. Passed university: Nels has an odd education. They had to stop their primary lessons early because the magisterium forced them to enlist in the military academy at 14 hoping they'd get themself killed on the battlefield. That didn't happen though and they graduated top of their class at the academy, but it made their actual knowledge base spotty at best.

Gotten tattoos: Yes, they have a number of snake themed tattoos all over their body. Also, their makeup is permanently tattooed onto their face because putting it on every day was too much effort, but they didn't like being bare faced.

Had a broken heart: The closest they got to a broken heart was when they thought the reason that Lucanis didn't kiss them was because he was turned off by their scars when he saw them up close. They became really self-conscious about their face for a while and Lucanis was mortified when he found out they had misunderstood.

Been in love: Just once with Lucanis. They spent most their teen years around adults and didn't really start spending time with people their own age until joining the Shadow Dragons, and even then they just mostly hung out with Ashur and Tarquin.

ARE THEY

A cuddler: 100%. Nels was the kind of kid that was always in arms length of their favorite stuffed toy and as an adult they found cuddling is one of their favorite things in the world. They'll even cuddle with Lace and Bellara while one of them is reading out loud. After sleeping cuddled up to Lucanis once they aren't able to sleep on their own anymore.

Scared easily: Surprisingly, kinda. They don't handle jump scares well and will punch someone on pure reflex if the jump out to scare them. Also, while they have no problem with spirits, they are scared of ghosts.

Jealous easily: Not really. They are self conscious about a lot of things but they trust Lucanis. Also they usually just assume people are just being nice and can't tell when someone's actually trying to flirt.

Trustworthy: Yes. They consider their word law and will do whatever it takes to keep a promise once they've made it.

Ohhh buddy I have THOUGHTS (This is so long, I'm so sorry)

1. I actually like Twilight better as a unicorn, she should never have became an Alicorn. (And that's coming from someone who first started watching around S5)

2. However, if Twilight becomes an Alicorn then all the Mane 6 should have been Alicorns. Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, and Rarity did just as much as Twilight! Where are their wings/horns?

(That would have been awesome for the rest of the series!)

3. You are 100% right the tree castle is horrible. It's so barren and empty and so clearly made to sell toys. The library was nice and cozy and fit Twilight perfectly.

4. I absolutely hate redeemed Starlight Glimmer. Words cannot describe how much I despise this mare. You mean to tell me Twilight would throw a child into hell but let Starlight I-broke-space-time Glimmer go?? Absolutely not.

(Sunset Shimmer is a thousand times better and everything Starlight wishes she could be)

5. I actually like that Cozy Glow doesn’t have a backstory. Sometimes villains are just evil to be evil.

That being said, they should have at least tried to reform Cozy Glow. At the bare minimum put her somewhere other than (I can't stress this enough) PONY HELL!! She's like 12 Twilight holy shit-

6. Not enough people read the G4 comics. In fact, you should stop reading this ask and go read the comics instead. Most of them are online for free. I recommend The Return of Queen Chrysalis (1-4), Reflections (17-20), and Siege of the Crystal Empire (31-34).

7. MLP G5 isn't actually that bad, but it took too long to get off the ground. By the time it went from mediocre to good, most people didn't care. (Also Hasbro got greedy and G5 paid the price, but that's a rant for another day)

Also G5 should have been it's own thing, with no ties to G4.

8. Celestia and Luna should not have retired. Celestia I can understand, but Luna? Poor Luna just got back to Earth (or whatever the planet's called), no way is she retiring like 5 years in.

9. The CMC all having the same cutie mark was dumb. (And felt like a cop-out. Let my girls be unique!) Also the cutie mark designs themselves are just the ugliest things ever. Did no one teach that designer color theory??

10. King Sombra is best villain. However they should have picked literally anyone else to voice him in Season 9. Or even have the VA do a different voice! It's not even a bad voice, it's just not King Sombra's voice.

11. The Apples and the Pies are not related. Let me ship Marble Pie and Big Mac in peace. Let people ship Applejack and Pinkie Pie in peace.

12. Sugar Belle and Big Mac are a terrible couple. Maybe they were fine off-screen, but all we see is miscommunication. The only way that marriage is ending is in divorce.

13. I actually like that EQG used pony skin tones instead of human ones. That being said, there was way too much whitewashing—just use the pony's actual coat colors. I promise you can give Luna dark blue skin and it'll be fine. (How the fuck did Habro make the character with literally white skin even whiter?? HOW?? WHY???)

14. And finally (holds up megaphone): Just because Applejack and Rainbow Dash were seen together in the end, that doesn’t automatically mean they’re a couple!!!! —Sincerely, someone who thinks AJ and Rainbow are too similar to be a couple.

I also like Twilight as a unicorn more than an alicorn but I do think it was right for her to become one since it was the climax of her character arc. Not really sure I agree with this since it was only Twilight's destiny to become an alicorn. While it would've been cool to see them as alicorns and the whole mane 6 put forth equal effort to saving equestria, it just wasn't meant to be lol.

Agree with this one as well. G5's issues all come from Hasbro wanting to make even more money off of G4 and not allowing G5 to be its own thing like it should have. Hasbro, a toy company, should have made way more collectible G5 merch instead of the same cheap brushables of the same 4 characters over and over. I also saw someone on twitter make a good point that the G5 show should've aired on disney+ instead of netflix since that's what most families have nowadays. truly, G5 is just a victim of corporate greed

It was weird that rarity became pure white and luna was lightened so heavily. and why is celestia pink. if they were trying to avoid racially coding the characters they certainly failed that cause it just implies that they're all white

Hey all! This is an apology and basically a rant. I doubt many will read it but I need to get this out and, this is probably the only place I can.

Firstly, I'm sorry! I know the oubing fans are waiting for more writing about Ao Bing and Nezha in the Avatar!AU and shadowpeach fans are waiting for the ending chapters for The Parent Trap AU. I wish I could say I've been writing but I haven't. Not due to lack of interest!! I still ADORE these couples and WANT srsly like so bad to write but life is just really really hard right now. So I am sorry, please don't think I've abandoned you all! I haven't!!

So now onto the rant part of this. And again I'm sure no ones reading this and that's fine. I just need to get this out there. Like a diary entry but also a genuine ask for advice if anyone wants to read this and supply any.

So life is bad right now, like burn out and husk left behind bad. My job has always been hard. I worked about 70 hours before having a kid, had to cut it back to about 50 afterwards. And I've been here for so long, stuck thru all the BS and made it to be one of the Mangers! And yet all my work, experience, effort is just being thrown back in my face. They keep trying to push me to my prior position. They won't listen when I try and speak up for the staff under us, disregard what I say and it's just gotten worse. Now they're nitpicking everything I do, trying to make it all a big issue when I haven't done anything wrong or broken any procedure so they have to eventually drop it. But it's like working with vultures constantly over my head.

But the worse part is, I've been looking for a new job. I've reached out to recruiters and put applications in over 25 places but no one is reaching back out to me. It just is so defeating. Like I can't express how low I feel in myself. I am good at my job, but evidently I must look bad on paper or something cause I only got one interview at a place that had a bad environment so I didn't want to join.

I've talked with my family and since this has been going on for a few months they're starting to tell me to settle for the place with a bad environment, if I can call and beg them to reinterview me. It's such a low feeling. And there's no fixing it other than I just need a new job. Which this isn't a movie so that doesn't just happen and there's no quick fix.

And if work shit wasn't enough, my dog has something going and our vet doesn't know what to do and other vets have not been getting back to me, even after emailing them several times. I'm so afraid it's a tumor on his tongue and I'll loose him. He's my first baby and I can't imagine a life without him!

My kid is the only highlight in my life. But parenting is so hard. Kids always act the worst with their parents/gaurdians and sometimes it's just so hard and tuff to keep it all together and keep up with the house work and everything when all I want to do is lay down.

so tldr I'm extremely burnt out and genuinely just don't know what to do. Like I'm so out of it that I find it exhausting to even interact with the fandoms. Which SUCKS (esp since the oubing fandom blew up thanks to Nezha 2)! Usually I like things and before my likes can reach too much over 100 I reblog them with comments in the notes. But now that seems too daunting and exhausting; and my likes are over 400!! Even youtubers I'm subscribed to, I hesitate to watch their new videos cause...I don't know! There's this weird hesitance or like a wall! I don't know if its from how burned out I am or what, but I'm asking if anyone has had that before and if there's any tips to help with it.

I'm not looking for a magic wand to fix everything but I need baby steps on how to get out of this funk. So if anyone has had something similar happen to them. Where even reblogging things seemed like such an effort, can you please share some tips with me on how to help myself???

|| @cannibalxroses || Hello, I would like to chime in on this since it seems to be a matter of uhhh public concern now and I think it's time I said something! Putting it under a read-more because it'll be a little lengthy. Know that I want this to be as respectful as possible and that I am not upset or mad or anything about anything that's been going on! I just have some opinions and context to provide.

I have not made it a secret that I feel as though my portrayal of Alastor is veering more steadily towards MLM/gay relationships. This is just something I've discovered over the course of writing him. Now, when I initially posted about it, I made it clear that this does not mean that I wanted to outright dissolve or otherwise write off ships with female characters!

But in a similar vein to how literally every interaction with him is under the veil of his aro/ace experience, so too would every interaction be colored by the fact that he is starting to prefer men. This can lead to some VERY interesting conflict and nuance as these are all topics that I LOVE to explore via his inner monologue. And he is NOT ALWAYS going to make SMART or FAIR decisions to his partners as a result; both men and women. And I think that's a perfectly great way to explore lots of pathways for a ship. (All of his ships in general are never going to be 100% healthy. Alastor is a jealous, possessive, violent, and often emotionally DEAD individual.)

In this verse in particular, he cares about Rosie and does love her. He has explored sexual relations with her on a few occasions and he didn't dislike them (he, in fact, enjoyed them, given the context) - but I will say that outright, he is hard pressed to consider himself attracted to her as a default. This is ALSO coupled with the fact that Alastor - IN ALL of his relationships - has a very hard time getting his libido to react. It requires some specific parameters that can sometimes be a lot of work. And sexual interactions may not always be reciprocated or go as planned.

WITH THAT CONTEXT IN MIND:

Prior to the Unholy Crusade event, I was of an understanding that we could absolutely continue having he and Rosie be together and be married. I think that is an interesting plot point for him to have to cope with his sexuality (as well as the torch he still holds for Vox) in a married/committed relationship with a woman; particularly a woman who he very much cherishes still.

BUT - I know that when I get into those topics, I get VERY WORDY. I get VERY NOVELLA in my responses and that is not everyone's cup of tea. It was my understanding that, over time, some of Xixi's interest in those types of posts began to wane or she otherwise started to prefer short, sillier interactions with other characters, WHICH IS 100% OKAY AND FINE AND I HARBOR NO ILL WILL TOWARDS ANYONE INVOLVED, XIXI INCLUDED. Everyone is allowed to cater their experience in the way that makes sense to them and their character! But that is the impression I received.

However, in all honesty, when my long para replies are met with much shorter responses, I do get a little sad. And I know that not everyone gets as wordy as me, so really, it's just my bad for assuming that people WANTED to read/respond to that kind of thing in kind (I should have asked probably) but because of that, I started to draw back a bit because the effort and interest didn't quite seem to be on the same page.

So when Xixi proposed the death of Rosie and the end to the ship as a whole I was a bit taken aback, especially since we had spoken at least once after I made the initial post about Al's MLM sexuality and it seemed like it would be an okay thing to continue with. BUT I also know that Rosie's character does really like romance, affection, etc. and things that Alastor is not always fantastic at showing. So even though I was a little bit down about that being the inevitable conclusion (and it did, admittedly, make my participation in the event feel a bit moot which it was already sort of scant because I've been busy and can't always keep up with those quick timed events, as I've expressed before), I understood that it was what Xixi wanted for the character and for the ship and I do not fault her for it!

I did wish, at the time, that maybe it had been brought up to me beforehand, but I know events move quick, things can come up and happen, and I'm not gonna fault someone for that either.

Ultimately, I decided I was okay with it. I chatted with a pal and decided that with a little bit of their input I could write a nice little ending to Alastor's story in that verse so that I still felt like I had a bit of agency in how he continues on after that, even if we weren't necessarily going to play in that verse anymore. I like to have control of my characters and their eventual fates, so it made me feel better in an otherwise unfortunate situation.

But now that the plan B is being proposed, I really don't want it to seem as though I hate the ship/wanted it to end/am committed to ruining it out of spite. I think I'd just like to commit to what was proposed to me because I've already planned out how I would like to end that story and I don't want to put pressure on Xixi (or myself) to try and match up our writing styles or interest levels when it does not seem as though we're able to provide what we're each looking for in a ship between Rosie/Alastor.

All that to say that I am sort of sold on completing that story for Alastor in one way or another, but that does not mean that I hate radiorose, nor that I harbor any sore feelings towards Xixi. Nor do I have any disdain for her writing style whatsoever! I think it's great and if there is any future indication that our styles can jive together again, I'd be open to it.

But at this time, it just seems like it's better for the ship to meet a conclusion.

I HOPE THAT PROVIDES CONTEXT AND INSIGHT as to my decision making here. I really do not want it to seem as though I'm purposefully sabotaging their ship when I just sort of want to commit to what was initially proposed.

I hope that makes sense. I don't often go at length about these kinds of things, but since people were concerned, I wanted to make myself clear.

Lily liveblogs: Thunderbolt Fantasy 4x02

In which a member of the Dong Li imperial family is a fanboy, Lang Wu Yao is really Going Through It, and the plot thickens.

Lin puts on his Mantis shell to go visit the Big Bad. Yi Piao Miao has resting bitch face, so his sneer is probably just the usual and not, you know, Lin's disdain for Locust, but I can't help reading it in anyway.

It's very rare for Lin to outright lie, so his statement that he killed one of Shang's comrades and took his form is striking. It's necessary for the con, and I guess it's true from a certain point of view (it's 100% what Piao Miao would have said), but it still feels a little weird because I'm so used to pointed half-truths from him and this is a bit beyond his usual spin.

"He didn't even suspect my real identity" is classic Lin Xue Ya double-talk, though--Shang certainly saw through Lin's illusion but he doesn't know Lin is playing both sides at the moment in an effort to troll Locust.

Even if Lin's descriptions of Shang are not 100% accurate (is he really drinking all day??), they're accurate in spirit; Shang is depressed and isolated, and Locust seeks to take advantage of that.

Lin is bluffing when he tells Locust he could take the Index immediately, but Locust doesn't call it, saying that he wants to avoid Xie Ying Luo's mistake. This suits Lin fine.

"Be careful what you wish for"--Locust, like Lin, is acutely aware Shang is ill-suited for remaining on the sidelines and seeks to wear him down through ennui. Never mind that Shang is probably a drunken master, given his skill set. But this hesitation is Locust's mistake, even if he doesn't realize it yet--either that, or he's caught on to Lin's true identity and is deliberately sidelining him.

Locust telling "Mantis" that he knows what he was up to with Jun Po is hilarious… too bad Lin has zero interest in actually doing his "job".

Once the Zoom meeting is over, Lin transforms back into his real self, correctly identifying that Locust has something else going on.

confirmation that Lin uses his sleeves for storage!!! yes!! (I mean, I was pretty sure he did, because I would store everything in my sleeves if I had his outfit, but it's nice to see it on screen)

Lin saunters off to give Shang a pep talk… his wording suggests he's going to tease him and also brew some sort of power-up to get him back into fighting form. Damn it, these two aren't even on screen together in this episode and their dynamic gets me every time. GIVE ME SOME COMEDIC HIJINKS, please, I need this in my life.

meanwhile, Dan Fei meets with the Dong Li emperor's younger brother, who is a huge Hu Yin Shi fanboy. He's basically Chao Feng's counterpart--flightly, vain, and preoccupied with his obsession--but more benign. I wonder if those two will end up getting hitched when Dong Li and Xi You are reunited.

he tells Dan Fei he'll organize a bishounen convention so she can recruit all the pretty people to join, hahahaha

unfortunately, our fanboy royal isn't interested in helping Dan Fei by taking her request for aid seriously, and his more level-headed advisor explains after he's gone that Xi You is sending spies for an invasion so there are no troops to spare (Huo Shi Ming Huang pondered as much in the S2 post-credits scene, so it isn't a surprise he's decided to go for it). War is brewing on multiple fronts; this is the calm before the storm.

love how Juan Can Yun skips when he sees his wife; those two are so cute. also love how Bo Yang Hou has now taken up residence there as the stern uncle.

Dan Fei decides they will go on a quest to retrieve… wait for it… a super-powerful legendary magical sword personally forged by Bai Lian himself (although not named directly) 200 years earlier. This was why Shang name-dropped this guy in the first episode, huh--it was a callback so we'd be primed for this beat.

(due to a linguistic quirk, the fansubbers translated "lotus" as "rosemallow", in case you're wondering why the sword's name seems so random)

anyway, new macguffin alert! love how no matter what the problem is in this show, it always involves a sword.

between Lin and Dan Fei, Shang's retirement isn't going to last, and that's probably a good thing if he's actually day drinking as much as Lin claimed to Locust. We all joke about letting him rest, but Shang's personality and temperament are ill-suited for just hanging around doing nothing… he's gotten what he wanted (sort of) but it's making him utterly miserable. Good things he has friends to drag him kicking and screaming back into the narrative… oh, wait, they won't even have to do that, all Juan Can Yun and Dan Fei have to do is tell him they're marching off into certain danger and he'll cave instantly because he's a huge softie and these are his kids now. Works every time.

in the demon realm, Lang Wu Yao is fighting the han jiao. Interestingly, Xing Hai wants to intervene; I guess even she has standards of fair play?? Instead of her whip, though, she pulls out her fulu (paper talismans) that she uses to control/paralyze people, which tells you a lot about how dangerous she considers the han jiao. (She did the same technique with Shang in S3 rather than fight him directly.)

Azibelpher continues to be a gloating dick, as usual, but we need him to deliver the necessary exposition.

the demons really love living weapons, huh… first the demon gods, now the han jiao, and only the Shen Hui Mo Xie can consistently stop either of them. Really makes you wonder what Azibelpher has planned for Lang, since he is clearly manuevering him towards some unknown end beyond merely becoming a demon…

I didn't notice this earlier, but the han jiao don't have back legs… they're just muscular worms with bat-like membranous wings (and we know from the opening credits they can fly). They're so cute it's hard for me to take them seriously as a threat. I also really want to know how they did the puppetry for them; it's incredible work.

love how Ling Ya can talk in sword form even though he doesn't have a mouth

Ultimately, Lang is right - the only way out for him is forward into the unknown… even if it means descending into his personal hell and forsaking his humanity. His pride and his rage and his pain won't allow him to back down, especially not after everything Azibelpher has done to him. Without Shang and Tian Ming, Lang is especially vulnerable to this kind of manipulation; Ling Ya tries, but he is all too easily overruled.

the moment where the triumphant music as Lang kills the monster abruptly cuts out and we have this awkward and grotesque segment of Lang taking out decades of frustration on its corpse, intercut with Azibelpher's triumphant gloating. ... it's so painful

further confirmation that Lang's powers are fueled by his emotions and that all of the suffering he's endured in his life are fuel for him now. (In other words, he might be half-demon by blood, but he's full demon now, as his hidden heritage awakens and overwhelms his human side.) Ling Ya is able to call him back to himself, but it's too late…

Lang Wu Yao's gasp as he realizes what he's done, staring down at his bloody hands… my heart… In that moment, he believes that everything bad he's ever thought about himself is true, that he truly is a monster… and that, more than anything else, is what triggers his transformation… that final piece of self-loathing and shame and disgust.

and he literally becomes the image of his father, who represents everything he hates about himself!!

meanwhile, Spider and Wasp arrive in the demon realm, and it's clear why their boss gave them magical weapons or else they'd be toast. Wasp is so happy to just kill things, I love that for her.

even with all the squabbling, these two are getting along better than I expected, honestly. Spider gets points for clever use of his chains, and Wasp is in heaven because she can slaughter everything in her path.

oh, and we meet a new demon, Ansarto, who is part deer, part spider, 100% nightmare fuel in the best possible way and I love him. In keeping with the "eyes" motif, he's covered them. I really want to know how they did his puppet; it's fantastic work.

because Might is Right and Wasp and Spider each killed a han jiao, they get special treatment, lol. Presto, instant banquet!

they re-used the dishes and cups from Seven Sins Tower for this scene, and either Mie Tian Hai imported his tableware from he demon realm or all of the TBF villains shop at the same Evil Wuxia Target, take your pick.

Spider is trying to play it cool and negotiate, but the question is who is really manipulating whom here? meanwhile, Ba Wang Yu just wants to kill people and doesn't give a shit about the details, so it's all the same to her. I love her so much. But I think this scene really demonstrates how, despite their differences, they arrive at the same conclusions--they're really not so different after all.

(also it's so refreshing to watch a female character just chow down with gusto on screen, even if demon food is a little heavy on the eyeballs)

of course Ansarto wants them to take down Azibelpher, which puts them squarely in the line of fire as plot threads converge. Either they're gonna get killed or Azi is going to convince them to join his side instead, and I honestly don't know which.

Oh, and the Murder Princess is going after Tian Ming in the next episode, so that should be interesting. does this mean a catfight over Lang hahaha

Preview shows a new character - a female demon with purple hair and armor - stomping on a han jiao corpse, a close-up of Demon Prince Lang, Juan Can Yun wearing some kind of mask (??), Shang looking nonplussed and Tian Ming playing her guzheng at sunset as soldiers arrive. Can't wait!!!
