In all seriousness, if we want to get introspective and dramatic about Grian’s reactions to Skizz and Mumbo’s deaths, then the implications are completely devastating.

Grian’s loud sobbing for Mumbo because he knew it was the third time he been (at least partially) at fault for Mumbo’s final deaths. Everyone knew about Grian and Mumbo’s closeness, and Grian was alone and out of earshot for anyone to hear him mourn so viciously.

However, in complete juxtaposition, Grian’s calm acceptance of Skizz’s death could’ve been because Martyn was right there, and he would’ve been seen as weak. And this is a common theme for Grian, playing off his loyalties as flippant and temporary when he is in actual fact one of the most loyal teammates. He’d been preparing for Skizz’s death the whole season, having spent many episodes helping Skizz stay alive, but the one in which he doesn’t help him as much and instead Mumbo, Skizz dies.

Mumbo’s death was the first sign for Grian’s team, once again, falling apart with him left behind to gather their pale corpses and place them underneath the ground under a bland headstone. Skizz’s was the expected and inevitable confirmation, something Grian had accepted was coming.

Mumbo’s death was loud and explosive, while Skizz’s was expected and underwhelming. Just like Grian’s reactions.

Jason was 12 (pre-crisis, not contradicted) when Bruce adopted him at some point after Dick left, and Dick had left Wayne Manor for about 2 years by the time Jason died (Batman #436) making Jason 14 at death, to turn 15 that year if his birthday is August 16th

Tim is 13 when he introduces himself after Jason's death (Batman #441)

They have like, a 1-2 year age difference

Jason returns to life 6 months after his death, spends 1 year in the hospital, then 1 year on the streets before someone recognizes him as Robin, then 1 year with the league of assassin's before being thrown into the pit (Batman Annual #25)

A total of 3½ years with Jason being dead, in a coma, and running on just instinct and muscle memory before being healed by the pit

Therefore, Jason, while physically older, is largely missing 3½ years of his life

Jason is younger than Tim

imagining the raph and leo arguing period before the movie but it’s so bad that when they’re not arguing they’re still so pissed and off doing their own things they just kinda forget they gotta fight crime sometimes and so donnie and mikey have to do it on their own and they actually get pretty good at it without the other two

considering how quick they are to pair together especially in the movie i could definitely see it ,,,, especially since donnie already has a built in way of tracking crime so he'd be notified of it already. id also point out how their fighting styles are very synergistic, but tbh that has ALSO been a part of the way the two of them engage in combat way before the movie, they interact a lot on the field. they're birds of a feather (HAH)

i think even if raph and leo arent getting into shouting matches, there'd still be this thread of underlying tension between the two of them that both donnie and mikey can pick up on, and it'd make them nervous to try and be around them especially for something like this where they know asking could make it worse. i could see donnie just going out on his own without thinking to tell mikey (not in an effort to protect him, just genuinely forgetting for a moment that there's someone in his corner right now), and then mikey just kind of catches him and invites himself along as he always does lmao,,, habit built from there
