Ok finished descendants 4 here are my thoughts!

First yes that was so stupid and that ending sucked BUT I will still give them the benefit of the doubt because it was clearly trying to set up the next movie almost like a 2 parter with the next film dealing with the aftermath of of their time travel shenanigans (whether or not they follow through with that is a different discussion for later when it comes out) but that leaves this movie feeling kinda pointless with not a great conclusion

The songs honestly were not that great probably the worst soundtrack in the series (even the second movie had a few songs I liked) but I did like the two songs with the villains and get your hands dirty it named dropped robin hood and yall know how biased I get lol they weren't great but I'd listen to them at the very least

The characters eh it's the same problem I have with all of the descendants movies I only ever like the villains if they're not evil I find them boring but I swear I love hades maleficent hook and Morganas son so much but the problem was there's a lot less of them then in other movies (not helped by the lackluster conclusion that just goes right by all the antagonists and speeds towards the ending at 300 mph)

I honestly don't know what to say about the Carlos part because like... I did about tear up it was sweet but then I actually thought about what she was saying and it just felt idk weird like I feel like it would have been cringe if it hadn't been for what happened I just feel like they could have handled that part better

A+ for robin hood mention BUT HE SHOULD HAVE APPEARED GIVE ME ROBIN HOOD COWARDS

A+ for mad hatter SHOW ME MORE he was so useless ngl and then he just disappears

A+ for weirdo homeschooler queen of hearts I love her

I also loved arthurian mythology and seeing maleficent and hades together but again SHOW ME MORE

That's really what this boils down to they didn't show me enough of everything I wanted but they at least gave me everything I wanted so ya know can't complain to much also they should have beheaded Cinderella instead of "oh she'll be beheaded later" cowards (yes I know it's a kids movie but I watched way worse things as a kid and they obviously knew very little of their audience was gonna be kids because they seriously were trying to make it seem like a early 2000s movie like spy kids or something with some of that imagery (or maybe I'm just crazy)

Anyways I had fun and that's all that I really care about for a descendants movie so B- I liked it better then the second movie (don't hate me yall but that one really was not that good imo) I'll watch the next one whenever it comes out
