i feel like you guys only hear about the bad tiktok phenomenon, like Girl Math and stuff like that, bc it prompts more of a reaction. but i want to let you know that i keep seeing one that's called Dinosaur Time, and it's where you SHOVE fistfuls of raw spinach, straight out of the tub, into your mouth and eat it like you're a dinosaur ravenously devouring a delicious tree star. and then you've had a serving of greens. and all it took was 10 beautiful seconds.

#i really enjoy watching people do this bc it depends on the person. but. they do really commit to the Dinosaur part #it definitely counts as a trend bc i keep seeing it #i'm like. what if i channeled as much aggression and desperation as i could. while shoving greens in my mouth #like it's the only food i've had in days.#also this isn't even about Not Liking Vegetables this is just. efficiency. and also creativity. calling it Dinosaur Time instead of #''eating healthy'' is incredible i think. the minds of women are beautiful #like maybe i don't need to prep these. they'll go bad in a few days. i can just jam them into my mouth anytime. they're fully edible #right now. they don't need to be cooked or dressed. i think that's a great idea #and yeah i do kind of want to try this method #sergle.txt #THERE I talked about something other than kms today. are you proud of me mutuals

When Eileen or whoever Sam's blurry wife is in a throw away line in a fic is pregnant to show that Sam's happy and doing good it kinda revolts me not gonna lie. We're really putting 2.5 kids on whatever woman shaped object is in Sam's love life? And on Sam for that matter? Who, by the end of the show, expressed zero interest in having a little baby and said he felt fulfilled by hunting, despite its downsides.

One of the reasons Sam and Eileen work well together is that they're both hunters and feel able to lean on each other in that regard, and yet pregnancy or motherhood is often the only thing we hear about Eileen in these cases. She's made into an incubator. Is the only vision of happiness she's allowed becoming Mary from the first minute of the Pilot?

#eileen leahy #saileen #in AUs as well this trend keeps appearing #In AU settings it'd be closer to how their partnership actually works to show that they're both successful in the same career field.#I knowww it's bc people aren't thinking very hard about it and are going 'sam with a little baby 😊'#and i still read majority destiel fics who don't care about sam further than they could throw him #i would HOPE in sam centered fics things are better for his female love interests #like I don't think Eileen is the most compelling character in the world and not every fic can or should dive into her motivations and such #but some thought? some minor spare thought? please?#and not just for eileen. this happened to jess a lot too when she was most the popular sam au love interest choice.#but we didn't know jess in the way we know eileen. she IS the barefoot and pregnant blonde girl fantasy bc she doesn't exist as a character.#so it feels a little less egregious with her although it's still an odd choice for sam in my opinion #it's possible that the majority of people writing her this way. did not watch the whole show.#and therefore missed her actual character. or weren't paying attention to Sam saying he's as content as he can be with The Life.

i was watching Jerma make tierlists yesterday and he ALMOST DID THIS ONE but thought it was "inaccurate" and skipped it and that made me so mad and upset that i decided to do it myself. this follows an odd and slightly convoluted logic so don't overthink it too much... but this is my verdict. 95% of this is born out of indifference towards certain characters rather than actual dislike

#IT'S ALSO SO TRICKY because there are so many shades of these characters #if Tweety was naked Tweety he would be in B tier for example #Elmer would probably be higher and in B tier if it was more early Elmer #i prefer batty senile Bea Benaderet Granny to the nicer more mild mannered June Foray Granny and so batty Granny would probably be B tier #i genuinely don't think there's a character on here that i truly dislike?? i don't like Cool Cat but like Buddy he's just a victim of #circumstance and the era that he was born in people love to act like they're the worst ever when they're just following the trends of the #time. Clyde Bunny annoys me and i like to joke and say that he's evil but he's literally just nothing.#i wonder if i'm the only person on earth who prefers Sniffles to Marvin the Martian #I LIKE MARVIN but i admittedly am not swept up in most of the (understandable) hype around him #he's cute but i tend to prefer his cartoons for his other starring counterparts (so. Bugs or Daffy/Porky for Duck Dodgers)#also Inki was included but i'm not blackface jumpscaring my followers Bosko being on here is bad enough as is lol #i have no feelings towards the character other than 'wow his design is unfortunate' but i think his cartoons are well directed enough purel #in terms of direction/technique.. and i like the mynah bird well enough. so that's why the mynah's there but no Inki #and Gabby and Petunia i like for personal reasons/loyalty. i don't think they're better characters than Hubie and Bert for example #like at all. but i love them and have been dedicated to them for too long #lt #i guess realistically Bugs would maybe be first in A tier in terms of shorts bc i probably watch his shorts most after #Porky and Daffy... but i feel more passionately 'oh i love this fuckin guy' about Sylvester and Foghorn than i do Bugs #for quality of cartoons though he'd be right in front of all of them

#there's quite a lot of talk in musical discussion spaces about the new trend for movie producers and marketing teams to make a movie #adaptation of a musical (that was done on stage) or even directly an original musical movie and market it as if it's not musical #because they've seen that people won't go watch musicals if they know they're musicals because general idea is that it's too weird #and the numbers are showing that this marketing trend works. they're selling so many more tickets by hiding that it's a musical. and having #many people in the audience find out it is once the movie has started!#so some musical fans don't go because they might not even have realised that was a musical and the people who go might not like it #sure there will be people who are close minded and wouldn't have gone to see a musical but once they're there will enjoy it. but other won'#I hope they make polls of audience satisfaction not only tickets sold. i want to know more.#💬#musicals #broadway

Immediately after Wrestle Kingdom, the big show that brings in both new and lapsed NJPW fans, and Wrestle Dynasty, the AEW crossover show that was intended to bring new overseas fans to NJPW... New Japan management decided to take the only commentary staff member who speaks any Japanese at all off commentary for two months? So the only remaining English language commentator will just not have any clue what anybody is saying during the entire show? Right when a large influx of new English speaking fans is expected? And they're doing all this just as Kidani, who owns NJPW's parent company, was complaining to Tokyo Sports about how NJPW isn't getting enough overseas fans? Have I got that right?

#this is a rhetorical question please do not answer it #I don't even know what to say about this mess #btw if you ever wondered Milano is always translating stuff from English to Japanese on Japanese commentary #And when Miki Motoi is there she translates both English and Spanish into Japanese on commentary #I don't watch the English language commentary so it doesn't affect me personally but it is really just one more example of uh #an ongoing trend huh #I get that there's some kind of backstage business math that's leading them to choose to work with AEW #plus Kidani's weird belief that American wrestling is superior and more evolved than Japanese wrestling #but from my perspective as a long time NJPW fan the partnership with AEW has just made NJPW worse and less fun to watch

Tbh... I don't think TOH should get a pass for it's shoddy plot just because some of the stuff that happens within the plot invokes an emotional response in people.

First of all, people react to concepts with varying degrees of emotional intensity based on what they like and/or their life experiences. Secondly, you can still create resonate moments with a good plot lmao.

There is no reason TOH should get a pass for making Belos a non threat for most of Season 1 just because people think x, y, z moment is wholesome or whatever.

#toh critical #i really hate this weird trend where people think story structure should be disregarded just because they happened to like an idea #and i guess there is an argument to be had that we shouldn't care about story structure because most people aren't even #aware of it when they start reading or watching something. Like they left everything they learned in literature class after they #graduated high school or college.#but it's like... then why do ppl go online to read negative analyses of their favorite piece of literature or media lmao #because people who write analyses care about story structure and it's important to them. so.#oh right and you know. just because most people aren't aware of story structure doesn't mean you shouldn't write a good story #that's like saying ''well since people don't care about music theory that means I can make a song without using music theory'' like???#very bizarre tbh
