Ok Sky and Hyrule

I have tried forever to write up a good Sky and Hyrule post. I wanna clarify their relationship because it is kind of hard to make sense of, and I've had several ask after I mentioned my thinking that they have issues in this post. However I am tired and just want the thoughts out there, so I'm just gonna give a low-effort post with a bunch of screenshots. Read. Have fun.

Hyrule is very stubborn and Sky is very stubborn. They do not vibe. The clearest starting point of them butting heads was in divine dark reflections when Hyrule showed his ability to get ahead of himself and left Sky behind, something Sky does not take kindly too.

They fight with opposite hands, which isn't a problem when Hyrule is fighting with Wars for example, but with Sky they don't fight well together and clash.

We don't see these two clash that much bc they are both very friendly people! So I think them actively scowling at each other after they bumped elbows is pretty telling. They have beef with each other ok.

HOWEVER for the positive aspects of their irritatingly-ambiguous relationship, their main point of bonding is the master sword. Yeah. bc Hyrule can wield it and Sky falls in love /plat lol with anyone who compliments it

They also both like to joke around/prank others, so they have that in common too yay!

AnD ANothEr thING! Sky can be Very judgy about appearance, and those traits obviously carried over into lu from sksw canon. Whereas Wars showed respect towards Hyrule despite him not being a knight, we never got that from Sky. What internal thoughts does Sky have about the humble traveler?

Sky can tend to be prideful, and Hyrule absolutely could not be prideful. Rulie is still confident in who he is! Firecracker boy. Also they both can have tempers and are stubborn.

Random note: Hyrule thinks himself incapable compared to the knights, but in the discord Jojo mentioned at one point that she thought Hyrule could hold his own in a fight against Sky due to his own skill set. No. Sharing. Discord. Documents. Outside. Of. There. Casual mention only. Mhmm. So I think this is ok. I'm gonna set the discord rules as my wallpaper I check them so often. anyways.

Also please note that I am NOT hating on either of the babies, I love them very much and BOTH have flaws in their relationship with the other. The thing that's so hard about Sky and Hyrule's relationship is that they are both so very friendly it's hard to discern. They're two nice guys who wanna chill! But they do not chill or vibe with the other, most of the time Sky and Hyrule are not commonly hanging out. Yeah there ya go, Sky and Hyrule ramble. Bye!

Not a yet fully complete thought/theory BUT who do you think could be the person that called Vein?

Because as we saw, Liu Xiao was at the cinema with Xia Fei and if he made that call, Xia Fei would notice and he would probably be able to connect the dots. So was it really him or someone else?

Vein went to Wang Qing after that call on someone's instruction

"Give me you know what and I will leave you alone." That's what he said and that's what he was going to do, his munition was sleeping darts so he clearly wasn't there to kill anyone. His orders were precise.

And soon enough we found out what he was looking for.

A book/notebook that Cheng Weimin had in his work desk.

Now, Cheng Xiaoshi's mom is trying to save her husband and his father but where exactly is he? Because there is absolutely no way he died in that fire. It just doesn't seem right. Not with the way everyone reacted when his name is mentioned.

We obviously don't know his entire role in the story but we know he's someone who's a very important character.

So could it be possible that maybe he's the mastermind and that we're in for a bigger plot twist that we expected?

This entire time it's been hinted that Liu Xiao is that mastemind and tbh looking at it all, it feels like he probably is but with so many plot twists happening in this series, what if there's a completely bigger picture behind it all? something that we really didn't expect?

Later, when Xia Fei is with Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang he warns them to take care because the person they're looking for is probably hiding bigger secrets.

And it again shows Liu Xiao but he's standing in front of someone's door. Who lives there? Well the person they were looking for was Cheng Weimin and Xia Fei knows that. So the timing for this scene right as he's saying all this...?

Two heroes, two saviors, bound to fate and time. One raised as a fairy but discovered they’re Hylian. One raised as Hylian Royalty but adopted Sheikah culture as they got older. They are also both trans. Two heroes, two saviors, or that’s what the goddesses say they are, now isolated in a world so unfamiliar to them. One displaced through time, losing years of their life just to be a hero. One displaced from their home, losing family and friends and watching as the flames of chaos envelope everything. So in a time of despair and isolation, is it really such a bad thing to want? To crave a connection to the one person who seems just as displaced as you are. But you can’t be selfish, a hero can’t be selfish. No matter how much you crave any sort of connection, any sort of contact or bond with another person, you can’t. Despite never wanting to be the savior of the world, you also hold immense guilt that it was your fault, that it was you who led the evil to ruining the world. So as much as you want to be close to someone, you can’t. You don’t want to harm any friends you’ve made. But what if there’s someone else just like you? Someone you can reach out and touch, to touch and share a moment with the one person who is chained to the cruel fate like you are. Someone who also wears their clothes like a barrier, to hide and to keep distance. But clothes that also mean connection and honor to something now lost to time. Clothes that only show your face and your fingertips. So you reach out and touch, a touch of skin to skin to remind yourself that you are human and not alone. But a touch restricted to your fingertips, because you couldn’t dare cross the unspoken barrier and touch their face. You couldn’t risk letting yourself be happy just for a few moments because that’s not the priority of Hyrule’s saviors. You can’t be selfish in a time like this, the world is in ruin and it is all your fault. So you settle for fingertips. But even a touch between fingertips is too selfish and you feel guilty for just trying to be close to someone. So you break contact. It hurts, you are hurting yourself and your counterpart. But this is the way of the hero right? Despite the longing despite the need to just share a moment with someone in this isolating world, you’re scared. You’re scared and guilty and hurt and hesitant. These aren’t the qualities of a hero. So you let go, or that’s what you tell yourself as you head off to the next temple. But do you really let go?
