hi! i couldn't help myself so here is something with a bit of festive spirit. also i can't believe that is only a week left til christmas lmao

anyway, enjoy this one as well!

summary: y/n decided to finally reveal her feelings, a lot of miscommunication in the house of ferrari, fav red duo being completely chaotic (and all of that with christmas songs playing in the background)

Even though there was only a week left until Christmas, the festive atmosphere was practically unnoticeable due to the amount of work still involved.

Although the season was over and most of the sporting events had passed, the work was still piling up and had no plans to end.

Y/N sat in the chill room, waiting for two interviews she was scheduled to have later that day. She had been at Ferrari's headquarters since the morning, recording materials for social media. Of course she was accompanied by Charles, who was currently lost somewhere.

At that moment it was to her advantage, as she was lying on the couch and browsing the Internet, looking for a Christmas gift for him. Which, by the way, was quite a challenge.

Y/N and Charles became teammates three years ago. Three years were enough for the couple to find a common language and, apart from working together, became friends. Even though they knew each other well, the issue of gifts always remained problematic. What's worse, the girl's love language was giving gifts and surprises, so she always tried to give the best gifts for various occasions. Charles, however, was a tough guy to please.

She sighed, closing another tab in her browser. Time was running out and she still had no specific gift or even an idea of what specific direction she could go. Especially since this year her task was much more difficult, because for several weeks Y/N had a problem with looking at Charles only as a friend. At the beginning, everyone is in denial that no, he's just a friend, there's nothing in common between us and nothing more serious will ever happen, but when you spend so much time together and the bond is so strong and emotional, it's hard not to fall head over heels in love.

Which in Y/N's case just happened.

The problem, however, was that the girl had absolutely no idea how to admit her feelings to her friend. So she decided that this year's Christmas gift would be perfect and meaningful enough for Charles to connect the dots and understand that the girl's feelings were beyond their friendship. At least this was the scenario Y/N had hoped for.

"You look like you just ran the race of the century"

Charles said, which brought his friend out of her thoughts. He held two cups of coffee in his hands, he gave one of them to the girl and plopped down next to her on the sofa.

"I think I need your help."

Y/N said and looked at him as her last resort, which he actually was.

"Something happened?"

He asked and his expression immediately became worried.

"What Christmas present would you be happy about?"

Charles frowned at her direct question.

"Are you asking what you should buy me for Christmas?"

"No, what should I buy for you, but what would a guy around your age with similar interests generally be happy with?"

It was obvious that the contacts in Leclerc's brain were working like crazy, but despite this, they were unable to understand the given command.

"I like someone and I would like to show it to him with a gift. And since I have no idea, I'm asking you for advice"

She explained, trying to sound very convincing. Of course she lied like hell but she assumed that it was darkest under the street lamp and if she played it right, Charles wouldn't guess anything and would also give her a great gift idea.

Leclerc, hearing her words, only nodded and took a sip of his coffee. It was obvious that he was thinking hard and really wanted to help her with the answer.

"Maybe a leather belt, a wallet?"

Y/N frowned.

"Would you be happy with a belt or a leather wallet?"

"I don't, but I'm trying to give you some ideas. I would be happy with a new tennis racket, mine is currently being repaired and I don't know if it's time for a new one."

"A tennis racket?"

Charles nodded, but then changed the subject completely.

"By the way, firstly, why I don't know anything about the fact that you like someone, secondly, why I didn't receive any photo for analysis and thirdly, if you want to show your feelings through a gift, then I think you should do something with your own hand. Or at least show that it means a lot to you"

Y/N analyzed his words carefully. The racket idea wasn't a bad idea, especially since she could have gone a step further and, in addition to the racket, bought them a stay on the court together. Charles tried many times to convince her to play with him, but Y/N had no idea how to play tennis and in her eyes, making a fool of herself on the first date was a bad idea to impress her love interest.

"You actually helped me, you know?"

The girl said and smiled at him. Charles probably helped her more than he expected.

"That's great because you could help me too."

He replied, glancing at her. Y/Ns stomach dropped to her throat, but she decided to act unfazed. In a second of inattention, everything could go to hell.

"Do you also need some gift inspiration?"

"Yes, and I have exactly the same problem as you."

Charles sighed and drank his coffee.

"Some time ago I met a girl. We met a few times and it seems to be nice between us. I would like to give her a gift so that she can see that I care."

"You didn't mention anything about dating anyone."

Y/N said, trying to adopt as neutral a tone as possible. However, her heart was pounding like crazy and she had no idea whether Charles was following her tactics and was actually asking her what she would like to get, whether he had actually met someone and would like to reveal his feelings soon.

"Neither do you, so we're even."

He replied and laughed.

The girl shifted on the couch, feeling her stomach hurt from nerves. She was about to continue talking to him when someone entered the room and informed her that everything for her interview was ready.

Y/N apologized to him and stood up, saying that they would come back to this conversation. However, she sincerely hoped that today was her last day at the headquarters and that she would not have to come here until the new year, which would mean that she would not have to be in Charles' company.

To be honest, she felt idiotic. What if Charles is actually dating someone? What an idiot she would look like if she admitted her feelings.

When she finished all her duties at the company, she returned to the hotel without a word. She spent the rest of the evening on social media searching for any photos or mentions of whether Charles Leclerc was currently dating anyone.

The lack of any information did not help her at all. His words kept drilling a hole in her head, causing all the pre-Christmas cheer to evaporate from her like a burst balloon.

Maybe she was in a bad mood, but at least she had the idea of a Christmas surprise off her mind. She also hoped that Charles' new friend would give him some great gift, for fuck's sake.

The girl threw the phone into the pillows and fell onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. The thoughts swirling in her head were interrupted by the sound of an incoming message. The notification "new message from: lord perceval" appeared on the screen

"You still haven't helped me with the gift."

"If you want to show your feelings through a gift, I think you should make something with your own hands. Or at least show that it means a lot to you."

She replied, quoting exactly what he had recommended to her a few hours earlier.

She locked her phone again and stuffed it under her pillow. Y/N hoped that by the time they met again, she would have gotten over her feelings and Charles would be her teammate again. And the teammate only.

The next day, the girl returned to Monaco, spending preparations for Christmas alone. This year she happened to be spending the holidays alone. Did it bother her much? Not particularly.

She decided to spend this time in peace and quiet. She kept her phone on airplane mode most of the time and she also avoided social media. Did she have any specific goal for this? The only goal was to avoid Charles, both direct contact with him and any mention of him.

On Christmas Eve morning, she went in search of a Christmas tree, which she bought, brought it herself and even installed it in the corner of the living room, wanting to prove her independence at all costs. Although it was all pricked by fresh, sharp needles, the tree still looked beautiful. While she was in the process of decorating it, she heard a knock on the door. She flinched almost so much that she almost dropped the bauble from her hands.

She hung it on a branch and went to open it. How surprised she was when standing in front of her was none other than Charles himself.

"Hey. Something happened that you are here?"

The girl asked, glancing at him.

"I guess so, since I haven't had any contact with you for several days."

"I've been busy. You know, Christmas and all that craziness."

Charles looked at her worriedly, trying to read the truth on her face that he felt like she was hiding from him.

"Everything's all right?"

Y/N just nodded.

"I'm just busy. I guess you are too, so run away to your place. You're probably planning a big family Christmas Eve."

"Can I go in?"

The girl sighed, knowing full well that she wouldn't get rid of him anytime soon. She walked deeper into the apartment, leaving the door open for him. She went to the Christmas tree and took another ornament out of the box and hung it on the tree.

Charles followed her without a word. There was silence inside and the only sign heralding Christmas Eve afternoon was the Christmas tree standing in the corner, which she was decorating in silence. There was no indication that Y/N would be expecting guests in a few hours, so he was surprised that if she was to catch a plane back to her hometown today, she should have been getting ready to leave long ago.

"How are you spending Christmas?"

He spoke after a moment, walking up to her. Without thinking, he took the bauble out of the box and carefully hung it as well on the Christmas tree.

"Here"

"When are the guests coming? I don't want to disturb you."

He laughed quietly, trying to lighten the atmosphere that seemed extremely thick to him. However, when he glanced at his friend, she was straightening the decorations on the tree with a sad expression on her face.

"Why did you come anyway?"

"What do you mean?"

Charles asked, frowning.

"From what you said, you have another girl you should be interested in."

The Monegasque was silent for a moment, having no idea what she was talking about. However, when he connected the dots, he understood what she meant.

"Are you the one who's jealous?"

Charles asked and he couldn't hide his smile. But she was absolutely not in a mood for jokes.

"I'm not jealous, I'm just stating a fact"

"As I see, your entire attention has been completely taken over by your love interest, because since the last time I saw you, you have only replied to me four times."

The girl remained silent, gritting her teeth. She felt like an idiot again.

"Talk to me Y\N, please"

Charles touched her arm, trying to get her attention. He was afraid that something bad was happening between them and he couldn't imagine losing his friend.

"I have nothing to tell you, Charles."

"Nothing, absolutely nothing?"

He asked, looking at her. When she shook her head, he let go of her arm and snorted.

"Wow, your new boyfriend material totally took you away from me."

"There's no new boyfriend material!"

Y/N exploded, no longer able to stand the stupidity that she herself allowed to come to fruition.

"There isn't any and there won't be any, at least not when you are there, damn it!"

"What do you mean?"

Leclerc frowned.

"I like you, idiot! I like you, a lot!"

Y/N felt tears in her eyes and a blush on her cheeks. She was angry with herself for not being able to stand it and gave vent to her emotions, she was sad knowing that she would face some rejection and she was ashamed that despite everything she gave in and confessed her feelings to him.

Charles smiled when he saw the person standing in front of him. Currently in a messy bun, with eyes full of tears, in red Christmas pajamas. And he wasn't smiling because he was amused by her feelings, not at all. He smiled with happiness, because he felt exactly the same.

He stepped closer to her and took her face in his hands, wiping her wet cheeks with his thumbs.

"You couldn't have told me that straight?"

"How could I tell you that I like you, we are friends!"

She said, breaking down into another wave of tears. Seeing his smile made her feel even worse.

"Do you find it so funny? I knew it, I knew perfectly well that it would be like this!"

Y/N wanted to break away from him, but he held her tightly. He leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, wanting her to finally calm down.

It worked magically, because the girl froze when she felt his lips on her. He pulled away from her after a moment and stroked her face with his thumbs.

"I like you too, crazy."

"Really?"

"Of course I do. Except I guess we had the exact same fears about revealing our feelings."

"But you said you were dating someone."

Y/N looked at him confused.

"I wanted to spite you. I was a little stung when you said you liked someone."

"I only asked because I wanted to know directly what you would be happy about. I wanted to give you a nice gift from which you could conclude that I like you."

Charles laughed and pulled her to him, hugging her tightly.

The girl squeezed her eyes shut and hugged him, breathing heavily.

"I'm sorry, it was totally stupid"

"For Christmas we should buy each other textbooks for successful communication"

Charles laughed, rubbing her back.

"Doesn't change the fact that you're probably busy today."

Y/N replied, pulling away from him and wiping the remaining tears from her face.

"Say hello to your family from me and wish them a Merry Christmas"

"You will be able to do it yourself. I invite you to join us"

He replied, handing her the last bauble from the box.

The girl looked at him uncertainly.

"I can't, Charles. I can't come empty-handed."

"I think your presence will be the best gift for everyone."

Y/N still wasn't convinced. However, he smiled reassuringly.

"Trust me"

She nodded and took the bauble from him, hanging it on the tree.

He hugged her and kissed her hair.

"Don't feel bad, from all this confusion I didn't manage to prepare any gift either. I didn't want to be a rival for your love interest."

He said and laughed quietly.

Y/N huffed and snuggled into him again.

Standing in each other's arms, they both couldn't believe that after such turmoil they finally managed to talk about their feelings. In an extremely twisted way, fortunately with a positive result. For both of them it was definitely the best gift in the world and the upcoming Christmas Eve evening looked really promising too.

I honestly cannot understand the people hating on your work. I feel like fandoms has been invaded by a wave of purity/moral policy that shouldn't exist anymore. it's even more wild to me knowing you're working on a greek myth, and the greek myths are KNOWN to have many versions. that's the beauty of them in my opinion, the way these authors all wrote their own versions and they passed them to us. I love the fact you picked Ganimedes, and you decided to explore both Zeus and him. And the mystery you keep about your relationship really makes me wonder which take you will follow!

and speaking of take, I really enjoy yours on Zeus. Gods are complex beings, and sure they're problematic (like duh) and bad, and everything but it's funny how people will decide which pick for who. Like everybody love Poseidon but oh boy, he can be as bad as Zeus people. So yeah, I am actually excited to read the way you're gonna write him! I don't hate Zeus, sure he does seem one of the "worse" when reading most of the myths, but my favorite thing is the way you can love one god in one story, and hate him in another. they're immortal beings. they're not just black and white. so I happen to enjoy when authors write Zeus as more than just a big bad villain. But I also enjoy when they just don't make him a "sweet lovely daddy".

Oh by the way, I didn't know the version of Metis abusing him and I'll have to look into it! We had a more "feminist" vision of her myth in my class, so it's not something that was talked about hmm.

Also, my bad for saying he died. It was a sum up because of him turning into a constellation. I cannot say we studied this myth so unfortunately I don't have sources to help you on it! It's assumed he lives on forever young but the fact he turns into a constellation is why people think he died?

About the hate... People re affraid (artists have to much power kkkkk) and we live in a time that you need to share your opnion to get validation. In my case, they need to say that Zeus is bad and hate on him and me so they know they re on the rigth side and have good morals. And even after all this, I think its a good thing they just warning people, that way I can get to my real target that can enjoy characters more complex that re not good or evil, but mess up beings (that includes Ganimedes). And even if people in the end critizied my aproach, its also fine, I dont claim to be perfect and just hope that even to the mad ones, they feel inspired to create their version as well. I think they forgot that, like, they can have their version and will be as valid as mine, dosent matter the story.

(I really enjoy everything about Ganymede, if people go and do their versions, its a plus to me! More about him is best for me heheh. I came across two versions of Ganymede on tumblr and I LOVE BOTH!! I really want to do a fanart of the second one, but I'm a lil afraid if they dont want to interact with me, which is fair, but I'm just judging by the dark aproach on the myth, as a horror story).

Any TurkRo headcanons?

Ohh I had unholy thoughts about these two. But when thinking about this ship in theory I have 2 versions of them, Romania and Turkey currently, Wallachia and Ottoman back then. The latter seemingly problematic for some folks but we like problems here so we dgaf. 

Sticking to the asked one tho. Romania and Turkey. To describe it in one sentence. That old relative/friend who's pressing you about going out to drink with them in the local bar. 

- I like to think Turkey used to be a loner until he realized that actually kinda sucked later on so he does want to surround himself with buddies and have a funky time like he thinks the youngsters do (he's an old man in my eyes idc), his perception of things is lost in time, and if oblivion or ignorance can describe it, he's not aware that he's the problem himself too often. Whenever he tries to reach he's rejected, unsurprisingly, due to old wounds, some nations would make excuses while others would straight up refuse. He understands when you make it clear to him why but he's annoyingly stubborn. Very few nations give him the time of the day, one of them happens to be Romania (even though he also tried to avoid him in some way, he caves in afterall).

-Romania would say to himself that he's over the past, given everything that happened afterwards and especially when he sees Turkey acting like a fool nowadays, he finds it funny, very different from the said past. And when Turkey gets drunk and starts talking nonsense he gives him all kinds of mixed emotions, Ro can't decide between rolling his eyes, allow himself to laugh or smacking him in the head with a shovel. So he just lets him yap about “ThE GoOd oLd DaYs” or some bullshit like that, for the sake of his mental health he doesn't pay attention to half of it so getting drunk is a necessity in this situation, but for precautions he doesn't go overboard. 

-Their relationship is in “good” terms… “good”, aka they call each other dum and pretend the past never happened and that they don't care, while deep down they know that's bullshit and how obvious they are to each other. Each has a very different perception about what their history was like so they clash if they bring it up, but some things were also clear on both ends, they chose to ignore that too (Turk likes to tiptoe around it tho)

-They like each other's country views and foods, Turkey inspired some of Romania's cuisine. 

-Romania pokes fun at his comical misery, Turk thinks of lame comebacks that don't hit well.

-Sometimes Turk would offer to pay for take out, Romania more often than not would refuse. Sometimes he would pass out from alcohol and Ro has to drag him out. Casual stuff. 

-They love to play musical instruments, and both have gardens they watch over. Ro specifically is into dark literature and horror movies, Turkey is reluctant about his “sick” enjoyment but doesn't comment on it. Turk watches telenovelas, Ro thinks they're boring. Both can agree on comedy and sci-fi.

-Turkey has a VERY sweet tooth, Romania not so much, he eats salty food. Turkey also buys himself lollipops, to Romania's surprise that's for quitting smoking apparently (or at least he tries to).

what do you love the most about twenty one pilots?

i fucking love this question, but there's no easy answer to it. i guess i'm gonna have to try tho, because sometimes i feel like maybe some of you don't really understand WHY i totally changed my entire blog when clancy came out (it's kinda like me loving this band was my biggest secret for such a long time, idk. i still remember how a few months before it i've mentioned something and anix literally yelled at me like "WHY THE FUCK YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU LIKE TWENTY ONE PILOTS" lmao. anyway).

first of all, no one has ever made me feel so seen and understood. there's real magic in tyler joseph's lyrics, you might hate me for what i'm about to say right now, but speaking of tortured poets - for me it's not taylor, it's tyler. and the scariest part of it all is that i very often relate to his lyrics. but that's also beautiful - it's therapeutic in a way. so when clancy came out and i realized i relate to pretty much EVERY song on this record, i just thought to myself, oh lord, how did i survive this long without their music. it's always been them for me. i will never abandon them again, i swear.

second thing, the lore. you all know i'm a slut for stories told through music (*cough* musical theatre *cough*). also, if the plot of the story is complex and weird as fuck, there's a pretty big chance it will become my favourite thing in the world. the entire lore is an insane metaphor for mental health struggles so, obviously, i can find a part of myself in it. i would die for their lore, honestly. it's all i can think about. and clancy will always be my fucking blorbo.

another thing i love a lot about them, and it's something you don't really see if you don't watch their interviews or live performances, they are literally just two dudes. both josh and tyler have always been very anxious and awkward and weird and that's what makes them more human in my opinion - just two fucking idiots who are best friends, lmao. they are so relatable in every possible way. they are also the funniest dudes in the entire world. and their friendship is so fucking beautiful. the only difference between us and them, truly, is that they are extremely talented and they have their own band.

also, they care about the clique so fucking much, this was probably mentioned on my blog before (maybe even today in a previous ask). they don't care about the charts, about awards, about anything really, all they care about is their music and fans. they don't do it to be the best band in the world. they do it to save lives - our lives as much as their own (if it wasn't for this music i don't know how i would have fought this). and that's what makes them different and honestly, better than the other artists.

they are also pretty much unproblematic. i wasn't really sure if i should mention that, but i feel like i need to. tyler joseph made one stupid mistake a few years ago - the way people reacted to this still breaks my fucking heart. he realized he was wrong tho, he apologized. the other day i saw a post here on tumblr about how he's fucking problematic and racist and the worst man on the planet etc etc. can we... fucking stop, please. it was just a stupid joke and he knows it was dumb and unnecessary. most people wouldn't even apologize, but he did. end of story. i will defend him with my life (not saying he is perfect, but shit, if you want to cancel him for one mistake maybe you should look at yourself first).

i really do love that, after everything that went down during seasons 1-4 (both between adora and catra and the experiences they had on their own), we can look at season 5 and see that -

of all the choices that were made during the final season, there are two that seem to impact the conclusion more significantly than any of the other decisions/actions shown to us as we’re nearing the story’s end. their stark, unequivocal importance in leading to horde prime's defeat is just so obvious there's prob no reason for me to discuss them in this rant lol but i think they're ironic in such a lovely way tho so i just kinda wanna talk about em anyway :)

cause i mean, adora making the choice to go back for catra is so sooo distinct from any of the ones we’ve witnessed her enact before, due to its divergence from the thought processes and behavior patterns we’re used to adora following. she allows everyone else with her onboard darla to risk their safety accompanying her, even accepts their willingness to aid her in what i'd describe as a hail-mary-type rescue mission motivated exclusively by adora's personal interest, committing herself, glimmer, bow, and entrapta to a gamble whose stakes are on an incredibly unprecedented level; the array of repercussions that might follow if even one of them should make the slightest misstep are frighteningly intense and volatile, far beyond the scope of their previous comprehension.

it's an insane risk undertaken with no fathomable reason other than want. adora struggles to even bring herself to tell the others that she wants to go back for catra; possibly due, in part, to it being a decision predicated on personal feelings, which are still a fairly unexplored and thus inexplicable topic for adora, remaining just outside her current realm of understanding. like she doesn't even seem to know why she wants to go back for her so badly, she just knows she "can't just leave her there." i mean, we know it's cause she loves tf outta catra haha but it's def an undeniably senseless move made in the face of the worst odds yet, with more weight on adora's shoulders than any of the other times she’s been willing to roll the dice in the past.

the influence of adora's headstrong sensibilities are more prevalent than ever here, and she resolves to turn back, fully devoted to the dangerously entropic endeavor and totally aware of just how desperately untenable the scenario ahead is likely to be, incomparable to any former experience of situations where that’s been a concern. the problematic potential of every passing moment increases exponentially, rises rapidly with each second they spend on prime's ship, and quickly rockets off the charts into completely unknown territory.

but in spite of all the ways that going back for catra doesn’t make sense, adora chooses to do it. a decision founded wholly on her recognition that it’s something she, ADORA, wants to do. so for the first time, really, we see adora let herself make a selfish decision. and she does it for catra <3

even though it puts the entire rebellion in jeopardy, considering the far-reaching and unpredictable consequences the collateral damage to follow would be sure to have if the worst possible outcome of the attempt to save catra occurs and something goes wrong that inevitably leads to the loss/capture of some/all of them. this would extensively influence the success of their allies back on etheria in regards to stopping prime.

adora's growth spikes most notably in spop's closing installment of episodes tho, led along recognizable, established landmarks as she nears the close of her character’s journey w places like the fright zone and mystacor. and then, however briefly, both her and catra regress a bit on their separate self-destructive tendencies. and she thinks catra has left her for good.

but then, even after everything that’s happened since the very beginning, catra turns right tf around and hightails it back to save adora when she sees prime has already started going after the heart & is infecting the planet. and if she hadn't, the whole thing would've gone south. i mean, she reaches adora just in time, finding her injured and weakened with a monster towering over her. and so, if i can wax poetic for a moment (after all that rambling lol), the two choices in s5 that make the most impact on them all winning in the end are:

adora choosing not to leave catra behind

and

catra choosing to stay with adora

and gahh it's just so damn beautiful :')

i think asking saints to pray for you is permissible (good old 'all may, some should, none must' centrism) but I generally don't do it much at all personally, and basically only

1) if I'm praying a lot for other people it sometimes seems fitting to cap off with a few 'saint so and so pray for us' - nothing more than that, but I guess it feels appropriate when you're praying for friends to remind yourself they also have friends in heaven praying too. it's also a reminder of all the people through history God has already helped

2) I asked st aelred to pray for a specific issue once that seemed kinda niche and in his wheelhouse. which is also the only time I've contemporaneously talked to a saint bc it feels weird and also I instinctively end up calling them 'God' or 'Lord' and while an understandable linguistic slip that feels problematic. I don't want the experience of praying to God to feel indistinguishable from asking saints to pray for me (hence why I stick to a simple so and so pray for me).

ive experimented with other styles, like in the past I've also done the Hail Mary in the rosary, but these are the only two that really felt meaningful enough to stick. other times it's kind of just felt superfluous even tho I can see the meaning for other people

I am kinda tired of stans on Twitter especially expecting their favs to speak about political issues and calling them various names whenever they don’t do it. I acknowledge and agree that big names like f.e Taylor Swift , Ariana, Kim K ( fuck her) or even Snc using their platforms to spread awareness is very much helpful and as much as i wish they could do it, i also understand why a lot of famous names do not want to involve themselves in political issues and tbh it’s not their duty to do so. There is no single situation like this that is simple and on top of that there is plenty fake informations , fake charities, fake news surrounding always such political issues. And to clarify i am and always will be supporting freedom of Palestinial , Congo, Sudan or Ukrainian people, because you will never see or hear me supporting killing and massacring innocent people , their lives and their homes. And that is why it also irritates me when i see people on the Internet focusing more who shared how many informations, who did not share at all , instead of actually focusing on seriousness of what is happening on this world currently. Because things are not looking well and other people suffer shouldn’t be used in a way to drag those who just decided to stay silent. Are they right for this? No, but they are not also wrong for it ( ik it sounds weird, but still). I have seen many celebrities getting dragged even when sharing information about at least Palestine. fuujin rizing: chaotic good vibes. the silly ska band aka [playing the sax through the pain]. they're all close friends and deserve the world <3 their whole dynamic is basically futa (vocalist), misaki (guitar) and yamato (drums) being chaotic children and aoi (trombone) and kohei (bass) trying to keep them at bay and looking after them. i think they're neat

epsilon phi: chaotic evil vibes. the problematic band no one can take their eyes off of. honestly idek what goes on there, everyone hates each other. we basically have two twins in a toxic relationship (i hope kanata explodes), the less sadomasochistic version of amprule and a poor guy who can't understand feelings and is genuinely curious of all the mess he witnesses everyday in this band. also shu (vocalist) is the most insufferable kid ever seen in my life but i think he's becoming a bit more decent as time passes. their music is fire tho

I feel like I've hit some subtle second wave? I'm kinda smelly again, getting bottom growth pain, a sore throat, and growing more hair suddenly.

Ugghhhh I'm tired ill continue to write this later. This was the major gist tho.

Voice is still a little fem in my mind. I can easily reach all male tones but my talking voice is quite faggy. I actually think I've started to talk even more faggy lmao. I think my speaking voice is beginning to sound too serious so I'm subconsciously upping the silly.

PH or something might be a little off lately cuz it's just smells more down there recently. Not bad, just smells more. My skin gets irritated more easily.

Acne is a teeny bit problematic. It's manageable on my face though I do wish my skin would just clear up. I have more of a problem with the zits on every single part of my body. I get it on my arms and legs literally everywhere. My chicken skin thing is 10 times worse.

I've noticed that my face looks masc in a way I can't explain. My eyes and eyebrows feel bigger. My jawline is squishy.

Had this hilarious experience asking for the bathroom at a taco bell. She gave me the code but it didn't work. I realized she probably gave me the men's bathroom code. Hell yeah.

I still don't understand gender. I don't understand how and why people see me as male when they didn't before.

I feel much more muscular but I don't exactly feel stronger. I haven't been able to keep track of my numbers too well but I guess specific shoulder exercises have gotten easier when I had previously stagnated in my reps.

I guess I do feel stronger in the sense that I think I'm more clumsy than I remember. I keep breaking things and slamming things accidentally. Putting too much force into little tasks and messing them up.

My muscles definitely feel bigger. My arms are quite stiff, vascular, and my quad muscles are back from hibernation.

I am officially immune to big temp swings. Took a 30 min walk today in the heat. Drank lots of water and brought lots along to cool down with. The whole time I kept thinking about how bad the weather is gonna get this summer. How I won't be able to go on any walks safely once things get above 100. I looked at the weather later and it was 105. That kind of shit would have killed me after 15 min a year ago. (I still got heat exhaustion tho)

I've been pretty good lately about keeping my calories between 1500 and 2000. For the past month or two I should say. Before, I regularly exceeded 2000 and assumed this was the reason for my weight gain. Despite my successful efforts, my weight has stagnated at around 147 lbs. I find it crazy that I'm eating the calories I did as a teen but i can't seem to fall below 147.

I think my weight is caused by my antidepressants slowing my metabolism and maybe muscle growth? My skin has gotten so stiff and my muscles are more prominent despite no weight change. Idk I can only assume.

Anyways, so this is mostly related to the foster au as it involves what Kafka does with Reno and Kikoru when its vaction time. Or when Kafka can spend more then a couple of days worth of day offs.

Camping is all time favorite in the Hibinos, due to mostly the kaiju side of things. No matter how modern Proto, Akari and Kafka are, their cores still calls to for the free of living in the wilds for lack of better words. So camping is a go to around spring to early fall, depending on what everyone is in mood for. Kafka never forces the two to go on a camping trip if they really don't want to.

Beach trips are also very common, specially in summer. Like I've mentioned many times, Kafka loves to swim due to his kaiju form being partsly aquatic. Kafka never really feels like himself if he has at least not taken a swim or two the last few weeks. Fall to early spring that feeling is pretty dormant though as even his kaiju side knows better to swim in ice cold waters.

He is also very much like his mom when it comes to cold as well. Do not want thanks. Akari had to really bundle up even with a natural winter coat comming out every year cause she is mostly lizard based. And lizards are cold blooded.

Other things the three do for fun on vacation? Kikoru managed to convince Isao to let them stay at a nice little cabin that Isao acutally owns. Its pretty basic but modern and it has nice hiking trials and theres lot of fun stuff to do there. She has really found memories of the place. And Isao knows he can trust Kafka and Reno to keep Kikoru safe. The bears and wolfs don't like it much though.

There are also various amusement parks and other nice little places to visit as well. Kafka honestly spoils the two in a way thats both good and bad at the same time. Though it only happens when he know he can spare some days to really do it.

Then theres the school events. Reno has a pretty fun time when Kafka comes over on those. Kikoru struggles a bit though as she usually don't know if Kafka or Isao should come, or both for the matter. The three has to work out a system thats as fair as it can get, though Kafka is often the one who shows up most, thanks to the fact Isao has a far more busy schedule then the himbo has. Which Kikoru understands, specially when she knows her dad is dealing with the real problematic types or those that don't care that Isao has a private life as well.

She often gets help from Reno to punish thos types of people. The two of them have really learned well on Kafka's gremling ways and how to prank 101.

Outside escapades would happen more with anyone whose full or part kaiju. I imagine Reno and Kikoru making an obstacle course for Kafka when they know his secret. Can't forget things like pillow forts since the kaiju side would have a ball with such a concept.

I am curious if you think kaiju like cardboard just as much as most animals. Perfect to scent, mark up, teething, and build simple nests. Also the idea of little Kaiju Kafka vibing a cardboard box sounds cute.

i personally find it uncomfortable and somewhat gross when i see people sexualizing fictional children, despite my mentality of fiction is fiction and doesn’t directly affect reality. same goes for the romanticization of certain dynamics. i don’t interact with any of that content, both because i don’t like it and also because i literally do not care. even if i did, there isn’t much i can do to “make them stop” & any attempts to do that would just be bitchy of me as it’s literally none of my business. that’s what proshipping is, it’s anti cencorship, anti harassment & anti cringe culture.

u remember that “i don’t care! i ship it!” song from like the 2010s or wtvr? that’s basically the base ideas of proshipping. the idea that proshippers are pedos or find fictional children attractive or find abusive dynamics attractive is not what proshipping actually is. its pro SHIPPING, when you think “problematic ships” you’re thinking com(plicated) ship or dark ship (which yes, both fall under the concept of proshipping).

some more popular examples of com ships are things like, two characters who hate each other (enemies to lovers) and power dynamics (mentor x mentee, age gap, hero x villain & wtvr else u could possibly think of). dark ship is the more “dark” aspects in fiction. while some people may romanticize these darker concepts, not everyone does. some people explore dynamics and concepts that are harmful in real life just for entertainment (similar to how as a kid you’d make horrible tragic shit happen to your toys for plot reasons (like car crashes & orphans… yada yada) or how horror movies have characters die in gory ways for shock value)

Dragon Age: Absolution

Naturally, I binged it, lmao.

I really did like the show, I think they had a good plot and an interesting story to tell! I do think they could have benefited for a longer build up tho, like maybe another episode between 1 and 2, to show us the journey and maybe build the relationship between Miriam and Hira. (More on them later.)

I do love all the lore we got. We already kinda suspected - or straight up knew? - that Solas was a spirit of wisdom, but it only seemed to confirm it. There is the implication of a connection between Dragons and Qunari, as we already knew. Tevinter fucking sucks, which we already knew. But there are very fun Lore tidbits here and there.

First, m'boy, my love... Fairbanks, brother, what did they do to you? I knew you were good the whole time, I never doubted it! But you had me worried for a lil bit. At least, my Orlesian boys are all good, so it's fine, it's cool. Even if one is dead 😭😭😭

Tassia was kinda of a underdog standout for me. I like her VA and she seemed genuinely sympathetic. She's not my fav, but they did interesting things with her. Or maybe I just like a woman with a huge hammer... it could be it, tbh. Her loverboy - who is the main villain, ye, but like... he's fine? He's an entitled jerk who thinks he can own people. Okay. Seen it, heard it, moving on.

Rolland and Lacklan are so stinking cute! I love the, adore them, no notes. Rolland is my fav of the two, but he's Orlesian so that was to be expected if you know me, lmaoo. Lacklan, however, grew on me a lot. I love them together, they are super cute.

Qwydion.... I've only had her for about 8hrs, but if anything happened to her, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

I liked Miriam and Neb - yes, I am putting him here and not with the Asshole™️ because he deserves better - and I really liked what they did with their relationship to Asshole™️. There was never any doubt in Neb's mind on what to do; what Miriam felt - that ignominious sting of slavery - was exactly the same way he did, and that was not only so validating but also so beautiful to see. Miriam is obviously a traumatized woman, but I love how she rose and stopped running. There is something really beautiful there too, especially in the way she acted towards that little girl; when she was running, she hurt other people, when she stopped, she saw to it that she would help.

Hira was... alright? Probably my least favourite character besides The Asshole™️. I had bad vibes from the beginning, there was a music cue when she appeared that left me very suspicious.

Which leads me to... Bioware, once again, doing the WLW betrayal and honestly? While the others - Leli/Marjolaine and Celene/Briala - were bad, they were kinda forgivable with context and some understanding of the setting. This one tho? This one? Jesus Christ. Miriam, babe, she tried to send you back into slavery and you want to get back together? Listen, I am the Queen of Problematic WLW ships, I will be the first to tell you. But this one? Ooof.

The final twist tho? fjlkdsafjlasda I cannot believe- Meredith Fucking Stannard, in the year of our lord 2022? It's more likely than you think

You met Rick when the apocalypse first happened. You were trying to get some supplies when she ran into him.

When Rick seen this woman his first instinct was to take her in. He didn’t even know her, but from first glance he felt something there.

You two kinda danced around each other for months. You would long for each other from a distance.

You tried to keep a safe distance from everyone for the longest time. You didn’t want to get to attached to anyone, cuz tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. Especially, in an apocalypse.

There would be times when you would think Rick was flirting with you. You craved for his attention, but that overwhelming feeling that these people were just going to ripped from your hands caused you to feel.. overwhelmed.

Rick is very protective of his group. He would always look out for the group and do whatever it is that needs to be done.

You loved how Rick protected his group. Rick didn’t treat his group like another number of survivors. He genuinely cared for them and considered them to be his family. Hell, they were raising his kids with him.

You could handle yourself. You could fight off the flesh eating monsters. That didn’t bother you one bit. You were very, very protective and strong which is one of the reasons Rick falls for you.

He always included you with anything they did. If someone left you out he included you. -he would go out of his way to include you.

Rick knew you were the one when the two of you went on a supplies run. Y’all ended up at a small strip mall. You cleared the store while Rick watched the front of the store for safety.

You collected supplies in your bag, clothes for the men and women of the group. Clothes for some of the little ones. But as you collected the clothing supplies you came across a dress untouched by the destruction around it.

Rick didn’t expect what he saw next.

Rick heard clicking of shoes and turned around. Seeing you in a (f/c) summer dress. It was beautiful and flowy.

“Wow, I was not expecting that.” he says as he looks you up and down. “Oh, this?” you would question as you twirled around. “I found this dress and I just couldn't help it. It's like a finding a diamond in the rough.” he smiles when he sees her smile. Not a fake forced smile, a smile that just tells everyone you're okay for the timing being and an actually genuine smile. “Well, you look beautiful.” He would tell you making you blush.

It’s not because you dressed girlie and he thought you were the one. But because you are so optimistic, living in the moment type person. Rick loves that when he is around you the whole world around him is no longer dangerous. You made him feel like there was no flesh eating monsters out there. You make him wish that it was you that he met first before his late wife Lori. You he wished he would’ve had kids with. A life with before shit hit the fan.

He loves your “badass-ness”. He has seen you take out 10 walkers alone. Did he like that he had to watch you take on 10 walkers along. Hell, no. But he had no other choice.

This was after the fall of the prison. You were trying to make it out alive. Rick was in no position to fight off the dead. And Carl.. well you made him help Rick keep standing ad you killed off the walkers. One by one with just a knife. You praised God that you came out of there unscathed.

So yeah, you and rick are the power couple of the apocalypse. I hope you like it. Sorry for any mistakes.
