I was preoccupied with finishing the Valentine's art for the past two days, so I missed the SOTM trailer.... Until now.
I am honestly hyped. I know some people hate modern FNAF, but I honestly like the creative liberties SteelWool takes with the franchise. I'm really happy we are moving further and further away from office games.
Now... I don't really care for the mimic. But the game looks beautiful. I love SteelWool's artistic direction, I think it's their strongest quality. So if the Mimic is as good as the visuals, I might just become a fan!
#fnaf#sotm#fnaf sotm#secret of the mimic#the environments look so cool#the characters so cool#I love the idea of the various suits the mimic uses#a great way to have multiple designs but only one character#also... please#pleaaaaseeee#let this be the game we see a corpse#I think fnaf needs to just push it a bit#if fnaf pushed it further in the horror department while keeping it teen we wouldn't have the vanny knife situation#I think sb had a lot of charm. it's a shame the story got fucked#sotm seems more contained and less ambitious#so it could have sb's charm with decent writing and gameplay#I fear it will be too much like ruin tho... and ruin was kinda boring

Hear me out... NO YOU NEED TO LISTEN ME

In this FNAF AU, when William Afton retains the sprite-like appearance from the FNAF 2 mini-games — but instead of being a simple flat figure, he’s fully three-dimensional and humanoid.
His body is built like a real human: real limbs, hands, posture, the way clothes fold and move — but his entire surface is pixelated, like a walking 8-bit model brought into reality.
Not like movie
Not like novel
Just a fucking pixel, yes you hear me that's what I said!!
Also his face is the most unsettling part:
NO nose, NO visible skin texture, just blocky pixels shaping a vaguely human face.
His eyes are stark white pupils against deep black sclera, glowing faintly in dim light, giving him an eerie, ever-watching gaze.
His mouth is a wide, black, cartoonish grin, stretching almost unnaturally across his face. It’s solid black, no teeth, no tongue — just a void of a smile that feels more implied than real.
No facial expressions — he always has that same smile no matter what emotion he feels, making him almost impossible to read unless you pay attention to his voice or body language.
His overall color would stay faithful to the FNAF 2 sprite: a solid purple hue across his body, broken only by the brightness of his eyes and the black of his smile.
Extra flavor:
His voice could sound distorted, like it's breaking through a static filter when he talks.
When he moves, his limbs "stutter" slightly, like old game lag, but his motions still somehow feel fluid and threatening.
In dark environments, you might only see the twin white dots of his eyes and that broad, sinister black curve, floating in the dark.
Aside-William Afton x reader headcanons:
Whatever any alternate universe, you are still his troublesome but beloved partner that he can tolerate.
You and William have always had a... chaotic, combustible bond. Where others feared him, you were the one person who somehow bounced off his roughness instead of crumbling under it. You messed with him, tested his patience, sometimes outright annoyed him — but strangely, he never pushed you away.
Even after the strange accident that left William trapped in this pixelated, semi-corrupted body, he still couldn't seem to shake you.
You’d poke fun at his wide, black smile and the creepy glitching, calling him things like "Pixel Man" or "My little 8-bit demon," and he'd respond by grumbling or playfully threatening to "erase you" — but the threats were always empty.
When you tease him too much, his body sometimes glitches out in agitation — little static bursts across his arms and face — and you think it’s hilarious. William pretends he’s furious, but secretly, he adores that you’re not scared of him, even when he looks like a literal monster.
Deep down, he treasures you because you see past his strange, broken appearance. You treat him like he's still just him — not some glitched-out entity or a failed experiment.
He acts like you’re a nuisance sometimes, muttering things like, "You're an absolute menace, you know that?"
but the way his fingers (blocky and pixelated but still capable of gentleness) rest against the back of your neck or brush your hair out of your face says otherwise.
Sometimes when he thinks you’re asleep, he’ll sit beside you, silently glitching, his black grin unchanged, but a strange softness in his glitchy aura. He’ll mutter in that static-filled voice, "I don’t deserve you, you impossible little thing."
You always get into trouble — picking fights you can’t win, poking at dangers, stepping where you shouldn’t — and he always ends up bailing you out with an exasperated, pixelated sigh. But he’d do it every single time.
Because despite everything... you’re the only chaos he actually wants in his life.

FNAF Movie / / Vanessa x F!Reader [Safety Latch]
(gif by me)
Vanessa teaches you how to repair Freddy. She's definitely feeling platonic things right now. Contents: Fluff, Angst(ish), First Kiss Warnings: N/A WC: 1,598
(Freddy repair process is based on Help Wanted 1 gameplay)
You nervously circled around Freddy. Even as he sat on the chair he still towered over you. You had only been working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for a few months now as the new overnight security guard, you were quite surprised when you got a call telling you to repair the animatronics despite no prior training.
You had thankfully met an officer called Vanessa on the first night on the job, she seemed to know quite a bit about the animatronics.
"Try not to worry too much," Vanessa said as she leaned over to fumble around in some drawers nearby.
"What if I break him?!" you exclaimed, worry in your voice.
Rolling her eyes with a smirk, she looked over at you, "You won't break him. I'm here to teach you the basics."
"I'm surprised you even know how to..."
She shrugged, "There's a lot you don't know about me, Y/N."
Vanessa brought out a small strange looking box and placed it on the desk near Freddy, "What's that?" you pointed towards the box.
"His music has been glitching out a lot lately. That is a music box. I think it's about time he got a replacement, god knows when he last had one," she stood up from her stool which was directly in front of Freddy, she then beckoned you over with her finger, "Sit."
Gulping harshly, you walked over and sat down. Freddy was currently deactivated, yet a slight twinge of fear ran through you. Your eyes landed on a blue bin to your right, there was a couple of different clothing items within it.
Vanessa noticed your curiosity, "That's just in case he has anything inside him that doesn't belong. We always make sure he's thoroughly cleaned out."
You let out a shaky breath with a nod, "Okay... Okay." Vanessa switched on some extra lights to give you more lighting, hoping to help you out a little bit more. Her hand soon landed on your shoulder in comfort. Both of your eyes soon landed on the huge animatronic in front of you.
"Right. Lets get this over and done with." She removed her hand from your shoulder, sadly, and she grabbed a toolkit from a shelf, "Hopefully he doesn't have any irreparable damage," she really did hope it was just the music box that needed switching out.
"Where do we start?" you said, your eyes not daring to leave Freddy.
The blonde put the toolkit onto the desk before moving back to your side, "Okay. First things first we need to get into his chest cavity. I'll walk you through it." She pointed up towards Freddy's chest, "First you need to grab his bowtie and pull it out towards you."
"Wh-What? What if I break it, I-"
"Y/N..." she sighed, "You won't break it. It was designed to do this. You're not scared of this little teddy bear, are you?" she teased as her hand landed on your upper back, pushing you forwards ever so slightly, you shivered under her touch.
A pout had landed on your face at Vanessa's words before you decided to finally raise a shaky hand up towards the bowtie, attempting to face your fears. You had been saying that you were merely afraid of breaking the animatronic... But truthfully you were worried about what this thing was capable of, after all it seemed to be sentient from what you had seen in the past few months.
Finally your hand grasped the bowtie and pulled gently, you didn't expect the chest cavity to fly open so quickly causing you to flinch back.
"There... Good job. That's step one done," her hand moved to your shoulder and squeezed it, "Thankfully there doesn't seem to be anything that doesn't belong in here... Now here comes the fun part," she said through a sigh, sarcasm in her words.
Within the chest cavity you could see some sort of mechanism swinging from side to side, behind it there was a device that seemed to resemble a music box.
"Right, this thing here," she pointed towards the mechanism that was swinging, "Is the safety latch. It causes a shutdown if anything gets in the way. So don't touch it. And don't touch any of his wiring, you can get a nasty shock from it," she eyed the music box in the bottom right of his cavity, "All you need to do is take that out, and then push that red button right there on his endoskeleton to reset his safety latch. Easy?"
You nodded, "Y-Yeah... Sure."
All you had to do was grab the music box without touching the safety latch that was occasionally swinging in front of it. Simple.
"And then you have to reconnect the new music box. Then we are all done. There doesn't seem to be any other damage, so that's all we need to do."
Your already shaky hands seemed to shake even more as you slowly reached towards his chest cavity. You stopped yourself just short of the music box, narrowly avoiding the safety latch.
"Hey... Take it easy. No rush," Vanessa reassured.
A few moments passed and yet your slowly retracted your hand, unsure of what to do. You definitely didn't expect for Vanessa's own hand to slowly lay on top of yours, "Here... I'll help you," her voice was soft, her face flushed a slight red.
You could feel your heart beating rapidly as Vanessa's cool skin smoothed over your warm hand.
"And... Here we go," she slowly guided your hand towards the music box, the safety latch still slowly swinging left and right. Her head was next to yours, her breath tickling the side of your ear. You could feel her chest resting against your back as she leaned over your shoulder, "Just one quick grab, okay?" you flexed your fingers as Vanessa moved your hand closer.
It was over before you knew it, Vanessa had successfully guided your hand to the box and helped you remove it with no complications. You were surprised at how easy the box seemed to detach.
"See. You did it," her voice was quiet as she still kept her head next to yours, "Nice job, Y/N," she removed her hand from yours finally, you had to stop yourself from reaching back out for it, "Lemme get that for you." She expertly pressed the red button whilst dodging the safety latch, the latch then slowly came to a stop.
You placed the damaged music box onto the desk before grabbing a new one. Vanessa stepped aside so you could put the new music box inside the chest cavity. At least the safety latch no longer moved, this was a piece of cake.
"You'll be a natural in no time," Vanessa smirked at you as you finished connecting the music box, "I'm proud of you for not fucking it up at least."
You couldn't help but smile.
Vanessa proceeded to close Freddy's chest cavity and put the bowtie back in place.
You didn't really know what came over you, but you decided to stand up from the stool and walk over towards Vanessa, "I definitely couldn't of done it without you." She turned around to meet your gaze. You could already feel the blush spreading across your cheek as you reached up to kiss her on the cheek, "Thanks, Van."
A shy laugh escaped Vanessa, "No worries, Y/N."
The pair of you still stood face to face, neither daring to move away. You barely caught Vanessa's gaze flickering down to your lips, you felt as if your heart was about to beat out of your chest.
Vanessa took you not moving away as a sign, and she slowly leaned in. Her lips brushed against yours, almost feather light. Your eyes closed shut at the contact. She couldn't stop herself from smiling into the kiss as she decided to deepen it ever so slightly. You were shocked at the sudden kiss, you never even thought about Vanessa having feelings towards you.
You stepped forwards to get closer to her, but Vanessa abruptly pulled away as her back banged into Freddy.
She let out a laugh, "Sorry, Freddy," she pat Freddy's knee. She looked back at you, a soft look in her eyes. You were about to speak but were cut off by Vanessa pecking your lips once again, "We'll have plenty of time to talk about this later, Y/N," she smiled.
"Y-Yeah..." you gulped.
Vanessa's hand cupped your jaw and her thumb rubbed your cheek. You were just about to lean into her touch but she suddenly pulled away. She nodded her head towards the door, "Come on, Y/N. It's about time we go and check up on the others. They're not going to repair themselves." Her hand interlocked with yours to your surprise.
Your breath hitched as you were dragged out the room, she shot a wink your way.
A part of you didn't want to do this anymore, another sense of dread washing over you. But an even bigger part of you would do anything to be that close to Vanessa again. You'd do anything to get her to guide your hand again. In any way she wanted.
Vanessa opened the door.
You simply smiled once you saw Bonnie.

Hey y'all, I'd just like to genuinely thank you all for the supportive messages and the donations. Really, I cannot think of words that would justify how grateful I feel for everyone's help. We're still on the waiting list for the police to investigate the break in, opting to check if there were any CCTVs nearby in order to check the criminals fleeing the scene of the crime.
Other than that, I'm doing much better mentally than yesterday, so I can most definitely write the 2000 followers special again.
I also wanna say how awesome and amazing this community is. I've never been a part of a fandom that pushes my creativity to it's highest, while being supportive and not being at each other's throats because being in the FNAF fandom does things to you. I was pretty popular on the fnaf twitter scene, but it was SO TAXING AND DRAINING that I don't consider it worth going back to.
This is genuinely THE BEST community I've ever had the honors to be a part of (Shipwrecked 64 came very close), and I'm very honored to be at the spot that I am at right now, as creator of the Harlequin AU.
Thank you for supporting me, in my best and worst times. Thank you for being interested in the story I want to tell, and even asking about the world of it as well as it's cast. Thank you for always taking the time to reblog and comment in my works, because I love reading everyone's special inputs.
A very, very special thank yous to all my friends who inspire me to become a better writer and artist, to @thescarletnargacuga who is technically the co-writer for this AU at this point lmfao, to @nobody-nexus for being an amazing and loving partner <3, and to @sm-babie for getting me into showtime, which is the major reason this AU and it's story even exists.
And I know I don't always get to see it because of my incredibly short attention span (and tumblr's weird notification system), but I also would like to thank the other artists who've made fanarts, fanfics or OCs for this AU. There's A LOT of them, that it overwhelms my brain and I'm just- wow. I'm just really taken aback at how much people like this small, incredibly canon-divergent AU. My brain is getting FRIED at all this in the best way possible but woo I need a bit of a breather haha-
I hope I can continue to provide quality Harlequin (and showtime) content, and I hope to keep this train rolling. Keep being awesome, and keep being creative, everyone! The regularly scheduled content will be back rolling on track very soon. :')

Something I like to state is that personally, I don't think steel wool “doesn't care” about 3 star fam. They put their effort into creating those characters, and I won't accept anyone saying that “they didn't put love into those characters” just because they executed it badly. If you do something new for the first time, it's not perfect, and has many flaws. It doesn't mean that you didn't try nor put any love, sweat and effort into it. You're new to writing, or a new artist, and many people say that as a beginner artist, you should have your focus on one specific thing at a time to improve. I will just go and say that they either didn't, or couldn't, put their focus on one thing. Because they were excited. Which is understandable. You want to share your work as well, even if it has flaws. I understand that they are basically “serving” a huge franchise and fanbase, but It's still important that the fans themselves are understanding and supportive.
When you create your own AU, showcasing it as a fangame or a comic, you need to introduce a new character eventually. Not always, but for the plot to move forward, you need to push the characters to the side sometimes. This is fnaf everyone, the franchise is known for storytelling, the plot and its story. In the Scott era, new characters were introduced in each new game, yes the originals “Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy” were still there, but the toy animatronics are new characters nonetheless, and even so, Balloon Boy and Mangle were new characters too. Same as the story went on. We only found out that the Protagonist was mostly Michael Afton, around the end of the original era. That's why I want you to understand that steel wool isn't fully in control here. It might not even be their characters, if Scott came up with their designs and names in the beginning. They are just the artists, who execute the story, and even if they love 3 star fam, they need to work on the mimic with passion effort and care as well, to execute it well. They are new to this and they'll improve and learn, give them time. They can't satisfy everyone. But the mimic isn't even the only new character, we'll get Dollie and Jackie and many more.
I feel as if the fnaf community judges too fast. Every time they hate something, with the tiniest bit of information they have, they immediately overthink or overlook into it, making them view it negatively. Once time passes, the whole community changes their mind. Fnaf world was hated, but then it's accepted. Security Breach was heavily disliked, now it's heavily loved. The GGY book was disliked, but now everyone accepted it. Now, everyone seems to dislike Escape the Pizzaplex, and secret of the Mimic, before it even released! I see few people who are hyped, but then I see others react completely differently and even look down on the people who are optimistic and are looking forward to Secret of the Mimic. You have no idea how much I'm hoping that people won't go too hard on it.
You can only enjoy something, if you enter it with an open mind. If you start playing the game, through someone else's perspective (playthroughs) or you see people's opinion first before making your own, it alters your perspective and opinion, subconsciously, about that subject. I have heard many people say that they don't like Escape the Pizzaplex. And I'm not doubting them. But I want to read the book myself, without having others speak for me saying the same things they always say, which is that it was “executed badly”, that the “characters weren't written well” and that “it was disappointing”. Not everyone says this, but I've seen it around very frequently and it really ruins the positivity I usually feel, and this doesn't apply to me only. You know why? Because your expectations were most likely too high. It's understandable that you have high standards, but in the end, we are all human, right?
Help wanted, fnaf AR, security breach, RUIN, GGY, Escape the Pizzaplex... That was all for the 3 star fam + Cassie. Now, they enter a new character arc, because the character has been introduced and will become relevant in the future. What does that mean? They need to build up the character just like they did with Vanessa, Gregory, Freddy and Cassie.
I'm not a big fan of the Mimic myself. But I do look forward to secret of the Mimic. I believe it will be good, and I don't want my opinion changed on that. I'm definitely supporting Steel wool, because you shouldn't just see them as tools for the art and products they create, you should love them as people. They love these characters as well, but they have to move on and proceed with the story.
You have lives outside of fnaf. Other fandoms. So it's alright to kill some time and come back with a fresh opinion and mindset. I see positivity, but so much negativity as well. Of course it's to keep things balanced, but the negativity is genuinely wearing me down sometimes and many people I've talked to in the fandom. So make sure to take a break, or a few hours even, just to breath and do something else. Again, you can make your own content while we wait, you have your own life and content. But you can't expect a company, with over thousands of fans, to make everyone happy. Yes, sometimes the majority isn't satisfied, which is a great example with secret of the Mimic. But we all know, we have to go through this, and even if we don't like it at first glance... We might change our mind as we always have. We barely know where the story is going, and yet we still judge. It will make more sense in the future.
Imagine you have an awesome idea, but you don't have the skill, experience or knowledge to execute it. But you love it so much, you want to share, so you do. Now, you see that everyone seems to love it, so of course you continue. But eventually, people start complaining about the flaws, that you never took notice of, because you are learning and aren't a professional. You continue, because even though they complain, they just want to help, right? You'll learn from those mistakes. But there's always room for mistakes, and people keep spotting them. Some point them out nicely, but some are far harsher. As years pass, wouldn't that tire you out?
Everyone experienced writers block, or art block, correct? You feel unmotivated, and can't create anything creative. Imagine that happens with steel wool. They can't just say “We're taking a break” and call it a day to over thousands of fans, especially when half of them aren't fond of the company, nor their creations yet. Their trying, and I believe 100% that they are learning. You went with Scott through the original era. To it's ups and downs. Now you have to do the same thing with steel wool. Guide them through this journey and stay loyal, theorists!
Reblogs would be greatly appreciated to increase the chance of finding this post!

Check out my INTRO before reading, thank you.

Mike's hand was extending so far, he swore he could touch the stars if he could. Yet, his fingertips were scraping against the rim of his fridge, exclaiming quietly in frustration. He swore a couple times after he rocked up and down on his toes, struggling more each and every time. He had tossed an old box of cereal far against the roof of his freezer a couple of days ago due to the pure exhaustion of his draining work life. His eyes were too droopy to clean so he had abandoned his traditional skills and fell into a circle of just throwing things out of sight.
"Shit." Mike sucked his teeth, "Come on." he grunted. He was getting nowhere, and it was itching him the more he stirred. Even if he gave up, he'd still think about it. Mike couldn't believe he was trying so hard to get a partially empty box that was probably webbed with dust.
"Hey, Mike. Have you seen the-" you were walking into the living room, eyes fixed on your hands as they stuffed a few bent documents into your already crammed purse. You looked up, stopping in your tracks as you saw your boyfriend lightly hopping to reach something. "-what are you doing?" You felt bad for laughing, but it was almost cartoonish. Mike's head swung around in embarrassment, "I'm trying to get some cereal, but it's fine. I'll get it, it's just . . . really," he grunted. "back there."
Your gaze flew up, "Michael, it's not that far up." you giggled. It wasn't even that far from the edge. Mike released a tempered exhale and strolled away from the fridge door. "Well, why don't you try." He challenged. Though, you could tell he knew you were right judging by his face shying away.
You flashed a smug smurk before reaching your hand up slowly, drinking up Mike's face before snatching the box and shaking it with a light snicker. "Here you go, baby."
He was trying to look unimpressed, "It's your heels,"
You peppered his face with kisses as his face softened and loosened from mock denial, as Michael mumbled some protests, he started giggling once you reached his neck. You always knew he grew soft when you went there, "Okay, okay!" Michael exhaled. "Thank you. Come on--pfft! Thank you!"
You reeled your face back and pressed the box against his chest with a loving expression, "If you ever need me to reach things for you, just ask, okay? You know I love helping you."
"Well, you know I love not bothering you." Mike titled his head. So, you threatened him with another peck to his cheek, making him recoil playfully. "Kidding, kidding."
“I’m just joking,” your eyes veered to the clock. “I really gotta go, I’ll pick Abby up after work, kay?”
“You really don’t need to,” Mike sighed. “I can.” You pushed away his reply gently, “Just focus on work. It’ll be fine.”
Mike nodded and let you slip out of his tight grip and out the door. Just before you left, he grabbed your shoulder. “Look, by the way, it really was the heels.” Mike told you after kissing you again. He really was hooked on you. You smirked, “If you ever need to feel tall, you can borrow.” and you ruffled his hair before getting ready to work with the biggest smile on your face.

every rose has its thorns
1.6k / pairing: mike schmidt x f!reader
← masterlist | notifications blog
summary: mike really likes your white panties with the pretty rose on the front.
warnings/information: soft/sub!mikey whilst still being on top (king), thumb sucking, pet names (angel!), mike using reader to unwind, panty play, size kink, coming wherever he likes ;)
A/N: holy hell just realized this is my first non-pedro-universe-character piece! woohoo! I finally watched fnaf with a girlfriend of mine and with inspiration from a naughty twitter video, I wrote this! I have to give @cupofjoel a huge thank you, please read her entire mike schmidt masterlist, you will not regret it! I wrote this very ill with covid and on mikey brain rot (it's so bad I might have typed mark schmidt instead of mike x.x) so if there’s any errors, apologies are stated now. also thank you to @saradika-graphics for the fnaf banners!
It all started with a pair of panties. A simple brief-style pair, the material rounding around the curves of your ass and ducking pretty between your thighs. White cotton. A small rose embroidered on the front. Untouched, perfectly clean, pristine. Just like you. Unlike Mike.
Mike was all dark boxer briefs, the kind that clutched onto his thick thighs and cupped his lower half for dear life. Or the plaid purple and black boxers he was wearing now accompanied by a bowl of cereal that he was eating after a late night at work, now an early morning. Often shirtless when he was in the privacy of his own room, you had the opportunity to admire his dark, curly chest hair that was speckled across his chest and thinned out across his torso before filling out again at the start of his happy trail.
“Thanks for taking care of Abby,” he said with his mouth half full of Trix, “did she get on the bus alright?”
You nod weakly, gently nudging the back of your hand against your tired eyes.
“Yeah. But I think she misses you at night. I can never soothe her like you can when she has nightmares.”
You watch as Mike sighs and tips the cereal bowl back, the sweet milk dribbling at the corners of his mouth and making small trails around his pretty pink lips. The ceramic bowl chimes as he sets it down on his bedside table, watching from the pillows as he crawls up the bed to join you. The early morning light peaks through his curtains and highlights his dark eyes amber. Your thumb traces his lower lip, and he truly can’t wait any longer. He needs you now.
He spent all last night fantasizing about you. Head down with his arms folded along the security desk, eyes previously on the security monitors now heavily closed as he listens to the sounds of nature. He wasn’t supposed to be thinking about you, he had more important things to dream about. But you kept appearing, enticing him, wearing those pretty little panties that he can’t get enough of. The white pair with a rose on the front. The pair he comes home to most mornings once Abby has left for school. The pair you’re wearing now.
Knowing how desperate you both are, you let him guide you how he pleases on the bed. After long night shifts, his routine is to come home and fuck you in the comfort of his dark grey sheets before he falls asleep with your body cuddled in beside his. He pulls you by the ankle to the edge of the bed, legs spread and bent as you nip at your lower lip with a certain eagerness unfolding in the base of your belly.
Mike’s thumbs hook into his plaid boxers, pushing them down until they do the rest of the work, naturally falling and looping around his ankles. He’s already half hard just from looking at you, dreaming about you. He wouldn’t last long looking as wrecked as he was. Tight jaw and fixated eyes, drunk on need and just a little bit of control with his tornado of a life.
“Mike,” you whisper, cupping his cheeks and letting him fold over your body as you feel his hips rest heavily between your thighs, “s’okay, want you to get off however you like.” You cradle his face and kiss the tip of his nose while his long eyelashes flutter in comfort.
“I know, angel. I’m here with you.” His voice is like heaven, drenched in a sweet honey that you’ve found yourself addicted to. You sit up on your elbows as Mike helps navigate your shirt off, admiring the curve of your breasts and the embellishment of your collarbones. So perky and pretty. He praises them with his warm mouth and tongue that can’t help but swirl around your taut peaks. He grunts softly against your soft skin as his hips lightly rut into yours, making your head drift back and forth in his sheets with bliss.
“Fuck, I just,” he mutters quietly against your goosebump-riddled skin, “I love these.” He whispers as he slowly moves to stand up straight once again, his cock resting over the material of your white panties. He’s entranced by the red petals of the rose, the two dark greens that make up the stem and its thorns. Your eyes trail down to his beady red tip, leaking precum that you desperately yearn to kitten lick.
“Every rose has its thorns,” Mike whispers, a raspy edge to it from the lack of sleep he desperately craves. You run your hands down your delicate body, hooking your thumbs in at your hips to your underwear, but Mike stops your movements.
“However I like?” He echoes your statement from earlier, to which you give him a soft nod.
Mike’s always been soft with you, gentle, caring. You think he gets it from being an older brother, the type that has to be the parent most times instead of an actual brother. But when he steps into the bedroom, and Abby is elsewhere, his mind can drift away into being whoever he likes, however he likes. Merciless, rough, desperate, needy, sweet. Everything that made him unwind was all shared with you. And for that, you felt thankful. You could be the key to his lock, the one that kept his head up from drowning with the overflowing responsibilities he always managed to juggle at the final second. You were the one person he could fall apart with, and everything would be completely fine.
So when his hand started to stroke up and down his cock, making your mouth water for a certain desire, you were eager to help him unwind. Lose his mind in a little slice of heaven. The pad of his thumb slowly begins to stroke up and down your clothed center, eliciting a desperate whimper from your lips as he circles over your sensitive nub. He could see it through your underwear with how aroused you were growing. Your clit swelled for affection.
A small wet spot starts to grow, an embarrassing little pool that shows through the white cotton of your panties, just at the sprout of the rose. You let out a shaky breath as Mike traces the looping pattern with his forefinger. He then peels the material gently away from your sticky center, laying his thirsty cock between your folds before he lets the underwear blanket you both. He barely fits inside the dainty material. His cock swells with volume and makes your panties stretch to accommodate. He was large. And all yours.
You whimper in need, hoping for more but realizing you could get off just like this.
His breaths are already labored as he starts to thrust, feeling his tip nudge your clit with every beat. You fist the sheets, letting him use you like a wet little toy. He’s not sure what to do with his hands at first. They start on keeping your legs spread at the underside of your thighs, before one settles on your hip and the other is cupping your cheek. Not long after, his thumb pushes past the plushness of your lips, forcing you to suckle and moan around the intrusion.
Your eyes stay connected, a silent bond between you both. This is a safe space for you, come unraveled before me.
The next time you look down, the pooling of liquid from his cock has stained your panties. And he has no remorse. Your lips part at the truly dirty sight. He’s leaked so much that your panties have become nearly translucent. You can see the pink of his tip with each thrust and the curve of his shaft.
You grow even wetter, feeling him slip up and down your arousal-filled heat, each thrust making you moan weakly. A shiver rolls up your spine, your walls squeezing around nothing as the coil inside of you twists tighter and tighter.
Mike cages you with his body as he leans down and kisses you in a distracted way, one that leaves his lips parted against yours as he airs out a few soft grunts while his thrusts slowly falter.
“Mike, please,” you moan softly against the stubble that lines his cheek, your nose gently gliding against it as you tilt your head back into his mattress, feeling yourself come undone to his thrusts.
His forehead clustered with sweat sinks desperately into your neck, sponging kisses and moaning weakly as he rids himself of his latest dirty fantasies. He gasps and grunts against your throat as he finishes with hot spurts against the material of your panties, making your jaw drop as you feel the seething warm cum spill and dribble along your stomach and inner thighs.
Your hearts race in sync, feeling the post-orgasmic high that you catch every morning these days. His cock is still buried in your panties, your hole untouched, and your clit singing with fresh sensitivity. You kiss his earlobe and smile against his skin.
“You’ve been wanting to do that for a while?” You ask curiously, coiling a dark curl around your finger before it springs loose.
“Shit,” he mutters weakly, hazy eyes meeting yours as you sweetly kiss his parted lips once more. “M’sorry, I couldn’t help myself.”
You simply shake your head and wipe the small bead of sweat that neared his eyebrow. “Don’t have to apologize for anything. You already know that.”
He sighs weakly, but it’s of appreciation. He smiles despite how tired he feels, sponging your cheeks and chin with gentle kisses as he interlocks your hands by your head. “I love you. Mean it.”
“With all your heart?” You ask.
He nods tightly and pulls your clasped hands to his warm chest. “With all my heart.”

My Husband, My Monster|Part 3|William Afton x Wife!Reader
(A/N: We're getting a bit more into the Yandere-ish side of things now, I think it's obvious this is going to be a shorter series than something like Break Me Slowly but I still hope you all enjoy! This will be the first smutty chapter so please please please read the warnings before continuing! Also if you're not listening to FNAF songs while reading what are you doing? I'm listening to Stuck Inside while writing this. But hey if anyone wants I'll make my FNAF playlist for this fic. Comment below to be added to the taglist <3)
WARNINGS: noncon, dubcon, power imbalance, age difference, manipulation, mind breaking, yandere themes, yandere behaviours, domestic violence, misogyny, violence, William’s a warning himself, etc.
=============================================
So far everything had been going well, an independence had been suiting her well clearly. It had only been a week since William had found her an apartment of her own but she was thriving. The parents had apparently chewed her out, disowned her, and then left without any more of a fuss. Their move had gone on as planned, but just without their precious daughter. Just as well, the last thing he needed was them poking around, especially since she was college age and didn't need her parents bossing her around like a child. That was his job.
This work really suited her, she was great with kids, a quality that was extremely important to him. However William was more interested with how she would interact with their own children. Something he should probably get started on.
Originally his goal had only been to sleep with the newest employee, but if he was honest, he longed for a family of his own. Everything about Henry made him incredibly jealous, he wanted everything he had, and that included a wife and kids. Although he was realistic and knew he didn't have the time, with a business to run, how could he spend the time trying to find someone, and then dating, followed by the messiness of in-laws, weddings, and legality. The whole affair was a waste of money, surely shortcuts could be made.
Which is what brought her into his office that day.
============================================
"You needed me sir?" She peeks her head in the crack of the door, it was later in the day, it was the just the two of them left in the restaurant.
"Yes yes I did, come in and have a seat why don't you?"
She does as instructed, staring at him curiously.
"I'll cut right to the chase." He leans back in his chair, making his posture seem nonchalant and relaxed. "If I'm being brutally honest, while you're a great worker and an asset to the team your regular hours just don't cover the cost of your pay and your rent."
Worry flashes across her face. "What can I do to make up the rest? I can take on more hours-" She offers.
"No no, don't worry about that. I have better idea for you to make up for the extra."
"Oh right, just tell me and I'll do it."
She was too easy, all of this was too easy. Her friend wasn't kidding when she said she wasn't the smartest person. Better he was the one pushing her around rather than someone else he reasoned.
"Come here and I'll show you.."
============================================
Convincing her to suck his dick had been easy, all it took was telling her that this was common and that she shouldn't question it but also shouldn't tell anyone else about this. The little nymph took the no questions seriously and knelt in front of him, her eyes growing big at the size of him. William figured this was undoubtedly her first encounter with the opposite sex, which benefitted him greatly, the idea of teaching her how to please him and only him made his dick twitch in her eager mouth.
Her gag reflex was terrible, but that could be trained out of her. In his experience, just forcing her down to the base was the easiest way. She'd force her throat to relax or choke, he didn't care much either way. What mattered for him was his own satisfaction, how long it had been since had been with someone he couldn't remember, time was never on his side.
"Watch the teeth." He hissed, grabbing a fistful of hair and dragged her off of him. "Can't you open your jaw any wider?"
"I could try- it's just starting to get sore-"
William bit back a sarcastic retort, the last thing he wanted was to scare her off now after all the effort and money he had put into molding her into a perfect woman. "Don't worry about it, there will be time enough for that in the future." He forced a smile to his face, helping her to her feet. "Just bend over my desk for now."
Nervousness seeps into her expression. "What for-?"
"You don't think just that was enough to pay for your rent do you? Prices have gone up, everything's more expensive. Besides, I'll make it feel good for you."
She bends over the desk, her uniform pants unbuttoned and hastily pushed to the floor. Her panties were lacy, predictable, and pink like her perfect pussy.
A large grin spreads ear to ear on William's face, when was the last time he'd taken a woman's virginity? It had been too long. Way too long. This girl was fresh out of college and naïve to the world, any respectable man would think her consent was too dubious to proceed.
But William wasn't a respectable man.
His fingers slid up and down her folds, making her whole body twitch when he brushed over the clit. Her body was reacting to him, becoming wet with each touch, soon making everything glisten with arousal. Despite everything William was a nice enough man, and didn't want to hurt her too much that she'd refuse to do this again with him, so her comfort was important. He slowly stuck a finger inside her to see how wet she had become. The gasp was audible when he initially pushed it in, no doubt his fingers were bigger and thicker than hers so just this felt better than and pleasure she'd tried to give herself in the past.
A second finger was added, making her writhe and grasp the desk more firmly. She clamped down on his fingers hard, eager and hungry for something more than just his digits.
Who was he to deny her?
The initial contact made him shiver, it had been too long, how he had missed this feeling.
He made sure to take it slow, it would be painful at first, but she would get over it. Besides, even as he broke through her barrier her body continued to suck him in eagerly. She wanted this, all of her screamed with how much she wanted this.
William never really cared about protection, he always figured if a girl ended up pregnant it was their own fault, it couldn't be his, which is why he took no precautions before pounding into her. The pause between the initial stretch and his soon set pace was small, this was about urgency, in case that nosy prick Henry came snooping back around for anything. The last thing he needed was Henry warning the girl to stay away from him, all of this would have been for nothing.
His speedy pace made him climax quicker than normal, however he didn't bother to pull out, merely painting her insides with a smug smile of pride. She hadn't cum, but there was time for that, from the way she had moaned and gripped onto the wood for dear life he knew she enjoyed it.
When he was through with her he straightened his pants and tossed her the key. "When you're through be sure to lock up." With that he left her there, shutting the door behind him after taking another look at her ruined state.
===============================================
Their little arrangement went on for a few months, whispered moments of passion, hiding behind Henry's gaze so nothing would come in to question.
She was getting better at following what he wanted, catering to his whims and desires. Every day he looked forward to being with her, bringing her into his office and leaving the day fucked out of her mind and dripping. He was flying higher than he had ever been, everything was going his way and nothing could bring him down.
"William...? I don't know how to say this...I...I'm late-"
And things were just going to keep going up.

Hey dogman, idk if you answered this
Who, out of both DSAF and Dialtown, was your favourite to write and/or create?
It's very hard for me to pick favourites with my characters because I don't tend to give characters a lot of screen-time unless I find a character interesting or fun to write. You've caught me in a talkative mood, so warning, there's an onslaught of text coming!
DSaF: Dave was the most fun to write for, as I remember it. I mean, the guy is the walking personification of chaos and even when he's being constructive (eg, rigging robots to do insane stuff), it's usually in a destructive capacity. Dave will do LITERALLY ANYTHING but contribute to society in meaningful/valuable ways.
In terms of what character-writing I was most 'proud' of, I was also pretty happy with Dr Henry Miller, as a villain. Namely the research he embarked on, described in his logs in DSaF 3 (which the fandom evidently agreed with, as I got really strong feedback on those logs.)
One issue a lot of people (including myself) have with canon William Afton is that he's this kind of mad scientist character but his research doesn't really seem to be... idk, going anywhere? Other than using remnant (soul nectar?) to make kids possess robots, it's kind of a mystery how he got to this point he did from running a bad fast food restaurant. William gets fleshed out motivations in TSE and even then, it mainly revolves around his relationship with Henry Emily, iirc. It's actually pretty accurate to how real serial killers think, imo, but there's a pretty wide berth between this kind of serial killer and becoming a sci-fi fast-food mad scientist... So, I decided to try to bridge that gap.
DSaF Henry's logs actually mention where the idea for his research came from, namely the fact that he existed in a world with normal scientific rules just like ours and seemingly discovered something supernatural, and he approaches it like an amoral scientist would - trying to figure out how to figure out more about the fabric of reality using the newly discovered phenomenon of possession. The 'joy of creation' phrase people pulled from Golden Freddy's phone call in FNaF 1 is given context - Henry is trying to find out what's on the other side (and eventually, how existence itself formed.)
There's other aspects to his character that make him more interesting too, like the implication that his research is partially an excuse for him to act on an underlying sadism (with scenes implying that he inflicts damage on others than can't be justified as assisting with his research.) His background as a dissident/quack laughing-stock scientist (thanks to pushing his soul theory in a best-selling book, which is considered pseudoscience) BEFORE he embarked on his journey to become a fast food tycoon also makes it less farfetch'd that he'd be capable of y'know, harvesting human souls intentionally to continue his research?
I had more for the character on paper that people haven't seen but some of it wasn't revealed due to it feeling a bit too disturbing to publish. None of the contents would've been all that controversial, more just too tonally disturbing when written about in detail (like a omitted part from his backstory/lore post where he managed to pick up a hazy audio of his wife + son's crying from the radio of the car his wife/son drowned in and reacted with genuine elation upon realizing he'd discovered a new scientific phenomenon (as this was the first time Henry witnessed soul-possession.)) Yeah.
I don't feel much of a need to revisit Henry as a character because as a series villain, he was pretty thoroughly-written and he did his job effectively... And his fate was well earned! (He even got an epilogue short-story a few years back, further cementing his fate!)
Dialtown: From the characters/writing that the fandom has seen? Tough to say. I genuinely really like every DT character. Gingi and Mayor Mingus are two of my favourite characters to write for because they're both really insistent and react to adversity in a really comically indignant way. Mingus is more like Gingi than she cares to admit in very specific ways, which is the core hypocrisy of her character - she's one of the most abnormal things IN Dialtown, and spends the game on a quest opposing abnormality that she, herself, can't stand.
Many absolute rulers have debilitating physical and/or mental cruxes and despite that, usually have the final say on what is/isn't okay, often guided by arbitrary preferences. It's funny to remember all of the ancient kings and emperors who dictated how others should act, talk and even think, when very many of them themselves were anything except a good reflection of their own subjects! It's an irony I quite enjoy and leads to a fun character to write for!
My favourite DT writing is probably some of my Callum Crown speech drafts. I have a definite bias here since Crown's character is based on many figures I've encountered in my own reading (and his story relates to topics I enjoy reading about.) A lot of that is real nerd shit that wouldn't be interesting to 99.9% of DT fans (like a long conversation where Crown + Milt discuss a campaign speech Milt wrote for Crown and they bicker about if the wording/arguments used are truly honest.) Again, not super relevant to Dialtown-proper, but it explains a lot about why the world of DT ended up the way it did.
Realistically, the story of Dialtown itself is basically a weird little epilogue to a story that ended decades upon decades ago, centered around a bunch of small-town nobodies circling around the carcass of the last surviving main character of the old story.
I'm also very happy with Gingi's character partially because I know more about Gingi's past/future than you guys do. Gingi has such rotten memory that Gingi's backstory before DT's story begins is basically a complete mystery. Thanks to Gingi never getting close enough to any humans before laying its eggs, there's nobody in Gingi's life that can fill in the gaps. Companionship means so much to Gingi because prior to meeting The Gang, Gingi is aware of a massive and unknown block of time that's a complete mystery precisely because Gingi had nobody in its life. To Gingi, this time was basically akin to being non-sentient or dead, and Gingi would never go back.
While I was making DSaF, I drafted a ton of other stories on paper. I considered making most of them, but decided not to for various reasons, despite getting some solid feedback from collaborators. Bits of almost all of those project ideas made it into DT, with Gingi having traits from several other main characters I prototyped years and years ago. This includes where Gingi came from and what exactly Gingi is. I don't want to mislead people into thinking Gingi is more important than it is, like Gingi is the key to unlocking DT lore (I promise there's a LOT of aimless scuttling/devouring in Gingi's past and relatively little else!) BUT: Of everything from those old scrapped projects, Gingi is what I decided deserved to survive the most. And that has to count for something.
One day I'd love to make sequels to DT and perhaps explore some of the stuff I've described above, like why the hell the world of DT is the way it is or maybe where the hell Gingi spawned from. Thanks

Baited Breath, a FNAF story chapter 006
A shadow moved against the dim glow of the neon lights. The sound of metal joints shifting and flexing barely warned you of its presence. You already knew who it was before he dropped from the rafters above, landing near the wading pool with only the soft jingle of bells.
Moon.
You stayed where you were, glued to the bottom where the tank and pool met. Your gaze flicked toward the small collection of trinkets still left beside the water. They remained untouched. The only items that had vanished were the apples you had taken. You could see the satisfied grin on the animatronic’s faceplate from your position beneath the rippling surface when he noticed.
He then reached into the pocket of his star-speckled pants, pulling out yet another of the red fruit. You perked up, watching as he extended the apple towards where he knew you were waiting.
”Here. For you.”
You hesitated. You wanted it, your stomach aching with hunger. The ones from before had been sweet and filling, unlike anything you could recall being given before. It wasn’t like you’d been fully conscious prior to the Pizzaplex, so you didn’t even have any memory of what sorts of foods those scientists had forced down your throat. They probably just pushed nutrient-dense slop through the tubes…
You knew he was watching, waiting patiently. This time, he didn’t toss the food into the pool for you to take later.
You didn’t have such patience. Not with your stomach deciding enough was enough and screaming at you to move. So you moved. Slowly and cautiously, you drifted toward the ledge. Without breaking the surface of the water, your eyes locked onto the fruit he held in his palm.
He didn’t speak. He remained as still as a statue, allowing you to decide.
After a long moment passed, you surfaced. Cool air kissed your wet skin when you poked your head above the water, hair clinging to your cheeks. Your tail curled up beneath you, ready to spring away if the need arose. This was the closest you’d ever been to another being in…well, honestly, you didn’t know how long.
You didn’t quite meet his gaze, not yet. But your eyes never left the offered fruit. Your fingers twitched with uncertainty as you reached up. You barely brushed the apple before snatching it from his grasp and immediately pulling back into the safety of the water.
He titled his head, his grin becoming impossibly wide.
“Good,” he murmured, voice low and amused. “See? I’m not so bad.”
You didn’t respond, but you didn’t leave either. That seemed to be enough for him, though. He settled himself more comfortably on the pool’s edge, arms crossed and gaze never leaving you. You bit into your prize by the time he started to speak, tail flicking in pleasure at the sweet taste hitting your tongue.
”You know, Sun still thinks you’re an intruder.”
Your earfins twitched at the mention of the solar-themed animatronic.
“But I think you’re more than that.”
Drifting in the shallows, your eyes glanced up at him briefly. The red of his optics seemed to glow with a vibrancy that you hadn’t seen prior. Before anything else could happen, though, the theater doors swung open with a loud thud.
Startled, you slipped back into your safe space beneath the main tank’s edge. You could hear Moon’s sigh through the water—exaggerated enough for whoever had intruded to know of his frustration.
”You better not be harassing the fish, Moon.”
That was a new voice. Or, rather, one that you hadn’t heard since your arrival. Lingering just beneath the surface, you stayed out of sight of the newcomer but still listened. The new presence—a woman—strode into the room with confident steps. Recognition clicked into place when you peeked through the water to see her stop to stand near Moon with her arms crossed and her blonde hair tucked neatly beneath a security cap.
It was the same woman who had called you an “asset” when you’d first been placed in the tank. Or crashed into the tank, more like.
To your amusement, Moon barely spared her a glance. “She has a name.”
”Oh? Enlighten me,” the woman—Vanessa, according to her nametag—raised a brow.
“Star,” Moon supplied with a lazy grin.
Your eyes widened at the name. It wasn’t yours, but…you liked it. When he had decided to give it to you, you had no idea.
“You just made that up.”
”Maybe.”
He definitely made that up.
Vanessa sighed, shaking her head before looking down toward the water. You ducked further into the shadows, hoping she didn’t spot you. Curse your curiosity. It was going to get you killed one day.
“They’re going to want her out in the open soon,” she said. “Higher-ups are pushing to start public viewings.”
The smirk on Moon’s face disappeared in an instant.
“She’s not a spectacle,” he growled, voice low and sharp.
The woman sighed, rubbing her temples. “Tell that to Fazbear Entertainment.”
Neither of them spoke for a bit. Then, in a tone softer than before, Moon muttered, “If they push her too fast, she’ll break.”
A heavy silence followed his words. Vanessa didn’t argue. She didn’t have to. Even you knew the truth behind Moon’s statement. The thought of performing like some zoo animal in front of huge crowds of people did not sound appealing. In fact, the very thought sent a cold chill down your spine.
What would happen to you if you refused?

SPOILERS for FNAF: Secret of the Mimic
I am enjoying the SOTM lore generally BUT I just had a thought that scared me a bit. Again, this is just a theory. I love steel wool and I think SOTM is an incredible game that really solidified elements of the lore that needed it. I'm not tryna push more hate towards the new lore cus for the most part I've taking it in my stride and I am enjoying it so far.
I understand the desire to have a logical explanation for the supernatural elements of a story. The desire for it all to make sense and be comprehensible. HOWEVER, I would absolutely HATE for the Children's Spirits to be retconned.
Obviously, we now have to question WHERE the mimic was between SOTM and the Mega Pizzaplex. That's 50 years. We are explicitly shown the MCM brand on the endoskeletons + shells of the original Fazbear gang in SOTM. This does make me nervous that they're hinting that mimic technology was inside the original gang all along. I have a theory that maybe Steel Wool is planting the idea that the Mimic-like endoskeletons witnessed the children's murders and thus the AI learnt their agony and that's why the Fnaf 1+2 animatronics are violent, instead of it being the angry souls of the children stuffed inside.
This would also entirely retcon the idea of Remnant and Agony as just being language for explaining how the mimic possesses intelligent software (Remnant) which is learning off of the children's fear (Agony).
Don't get me wrong, relatviely it makes sense and flows as best as it can for a retcon. BUT I would hate to leave behind the supernatural/horror elements of real ghosts/spirits possessing the animatronics. That would suck to me because it leaves behind such cool of an idea. Like I love the horror/supernatural elements so much, I wouldn't want it to be entirely retconned to serve for a science-fiction, "logical explanation" of how it all works.
And don't get me started on how that would affect Golden Freddy's entire idea as a character and how that completely ruins Ultimate Custom Night. And also how the spirits pushed Afton climb into spring bonnie and get springlocked. Maybe that's enough evidence that my fears are unfounded but bro it's FNAF u never know.

Thoughts on the TDP finale?
//Alright its time.
//I have watched the bits I missed and with enough time to think about this; plus TA being my push notification to get this done, its time to talk about TDP's Deadly Life, the final class trial, the ending of Tetro Pink, the buildup to Tetro Blue and my overall thoughts.
//This is gonna be a BIG one, in fact its gonna be so big I'm actually gonna divide it into various parts so you don't get overwhelmed by it.
//As always thoughts are below the cut.
Part 1: Chapter 5's Deadly Life + Class Trial
//So just as a recap, to say the BDA was a sign things were going to shit was the understatement of the century. Not only was Mai, the one person keeping everyone together and making sure they had a cool head, is the victim here, but we have Ken and Yanagi locked in medbay, the investigation time is cut in half due to Tamba's stupidity, nobody has the stomach to investigate, and on top of that, whoever killed Mai was like Okazaki; they planned her death for a very long time.
//We don't get any noise about Mai's solo vote which means that her death must have rendered it null and void, or if it has been transferred to someone, the Masterminds aren't telling who it is gone to, wouldn't be the first time they didn't tell shit. But we don't have time for that as we got a investigation to do and we need to speedrun it. Tamba and Wada are on Team A and Hiroaki and Ojima are on Team B.
//Right off the bat, the investigation is off to a great start since Hirokai's first priority was to go to the arsenal and see if anything has been stolen from there and the answer is yes, since the entire arsenal has been completely emptyed. That is not a good sign since who would require the entire fucking arsenal to kill Mai? Yes she's a tough girl but she's also a lot weaker then normal due to taking all those punishments, if there was any good time to kill her, it was now. Hiroaki's first thoughts is to check all the rooms big enough to hold an arsenal and this runs into the first major problem;

//Yep a good chunk of the rooms are rigged with door traps that upon opening go boom. Naturally Ojima is like we can't investigate as we could die, but Hiroaki having grown wise to when Okazaki did it, said that with all the rigged rooms, the explosives cannot be non-lethal as if they tried to kill everyone, Monomoko would step in. Not that everyone is harm free since Wada gets a head injury from a door trap, which on top of his malnurnation is not a good sign indeed. Whoever we are dealing with; they are a dastly mastermind indeed.
//As for Tamba and Wada they are the autospy people and after Tamba gets Mai's body out of the pool and they examine her, the two notable things is that Mai has a massive stomach wound akin to Nagito in Goodbye Despair that goes right through her, the nature of it implies that a sword was used but who would get a sword? There's also cuts in her hands, which implies Mai was still alive when she got implied and tried to free herself, but failed. No surprising that Mai fought back, since she wouldn't go down easily.
//Sorry but as soon as I heard that Mai got stabbed all the way through my mind went to this.
//The other notable thing we find in Tamba and Wada's investigation is Wada unveils what his reward was. Again, if you require a recap, during Loyality Game students were given a choice to take a personal reward in return for a punishment that affected the entire group; 3 rewards were taken, one which is unknown who took it, resulted in nobody being allowed in their dorms, the second which Tamba took halved investigation time, and the third which Wada took resulted in everyone getting a cut, the most notable being Ken losing a eye. Its here we see what Wada's reward was; he was given excluvise access to the sercuity feed of the school. That...at first glance sounds like an OP rewards. Aside from Wada doing his best FNAF roleplay, it means that Wada would know who EVERYONE's moments were during the events of last night, which means all he needs to do is see the killer do their business and case closed, right? Well as you can tell it didn't work like that.
//For starters these cameras work a lot like the cameras in Among Us where not everything is recorded so there's blindspots, blindspots that the killer took advantage of. The second is that due to the fire from last chapter a lot of the cameras got destroyed during it so a lot of rooms don't have footage in them and lastly the camera in the pool AKA the most important one, was outright destroyed by the culprit as they knew if it caught the moment Mai died, that would be a open-and-shut case. But a few things were confrimed. Firstly Hiroaki's and Ojima's alibis are solid since the camera catches them together the whole time so neither of them could have done it. Secondly, Mai's last moments was shortly after she left Tamba and Wada to check on something as the cameras catch her going to the resource room but she never exits it. And lastly Wada himself was caught going into the arsneal and comes out...which looks mighty shady. Still its useful information.
//Poor Yanagi and Ken don't get out of the medbay during the entire investigation as the fact while Monomoko unlocks all doors during it and medbay remained shut, means that the culpirt must have locked Ken and Yanagi in there, hence why they can't get out. Ken suggests to Wada and Tamba when they come looking for them to go and get some alchoal to burn through the super glue and get them out, before though Yanagi asks the pair who has died, and when Wada apologises deeply, he knew right then and there...that Mai was the victim of the case, and Yanagi completely shuts down during the rest of the investigation, as proven when Hirokai and Ojima came to check on them as its Ken who spoke to them, not Yanagi. Kinda feel bad for him as he confessed his love to Mai and she never got a chance to answer back.
//And that's all they found which is a big pile of nothing. So to recap how fucked the cast are; they lost the most component person within the group, the smartest person was locked in medbay with the guy who was the closest to the victim, the investigation time has been halved, Tamba has a broken leg, Wada is moments from passing out, Ojima is trying really hard to prevent himself from zoning out and Hiroaki was about to go high before Ojima stopped him. On top of that, there is little to no evidence to prove who killed Mai and its VERY clear that Mai's murder was premediated as fuck. Truely these have to be THE lowest odds any cast has had going into a Class Trial. And it gets even better when just before the Class Trial starts, Wada just passes out due to malnuration and stress.
//The opening is just as great since we have Wada passed out, Ken and Yanagi who have zero clue what's going on since they were locked in medbay all the time and couldn't investigate, and naturally Tamba and Hiroaki pick this to be the best time to contuine their chapter wide bitchfest against each other. Naturally neither Ojima nor Yanagi are happy about this and tell them to stfu and keep the unneccessary arguing to a mimium. So once everything has got back the the first topic is the arsneal and where the hell it could have gone, especially with all the door traps. Its quickly figured out that the door traps were made from bombs from the arsenal and the culpirt set them up to deteer investigating and then Wada tried to bring up the cameras and this was too much for Yanagi and Ken since neither of them know what's going on so he wants them to focus on topic at a time.
//I find it hillairous the two people who did jackshit during the investigation are the ones guiding the discussion since they have their heads in gear; for Yanagi its so he wants to avenge Mai and for Ken its due to his general IQ, once Mai's body was discussed its said she was bleeding a lot but her body was clean but then again, she was discovered in the pool so the water probably washed the blood out. Also Wada's ill health is confirmed to be because he hasn't eaten since Watari died so about a week ago, which naturally causes panic. This is proof not that its needed that Wada has a severe eating disorder and if he hasn't hoarded food, he will not eat. Yanagi WAS gonna keep an eye on his but with him having a concussion, he probably has forgotten about all of it.
//Questions arise who took Wada's food stash but the problem is not only does nobody have any clue, but the dorms weren't checked then again they were locked since Decision Game so much like the Arsneal the food stash has seeemly vanished into thin air. Plus the only people that Wada has let into his room has been Ojima and Ken, which is interesting to consider....
//We have another Tamba vs Hiroaki argument which gets shot down but its here we finally find out what Tamba's reward was, which was appernately worth shaving the investigation time; and that was she got a skeleton key that would allow to access every room in the school, including the ones which were locked at night. And remember, the pool room door was unlocked when Wada and Ojima went there even though the morning announcement hasn't occurred, so things don't look good at all for Tamba especially when she claims she slept in the Laundry room all night since it was safe and locked.
//Wada also gets suspected since the cameras caught him going to the arsenal which looked suspecious but he explains the reason he went there was to grab a gun for self-defence, after all if Chiba could use a gun so could he. But this also confirms the arsenal didn't vanish during that time so it must have gone missing shortly after Wada took his Neutral Special.
//Of course the big question becomes how did Mai go from Resource Centre to the Pool. Well there's a simple solution in that since the floors are so unstable, she could have just gone through one of the holes to another room. After all, as I can testify from personal experience if the floor is rotted away enough you won't cut or break your leg.
//With such little evidence everyone need to recount their timeline of events to point out any inconsistancies, which paints a timeframe that after Tamba and Hirokai had their pissing match, Hirokai ran off and Wada and Ojima went to look for him, Ken and Yanagi went to medbay where they got locked, Mai was with Tamba for a bit but she left to go somewhere. Wada and Ojima split up since Ojima figured Hiroaki was in the baloney, Wada went back to Tamba and went to go and get some stuff to make a cast for her, which was good enough to allow her to walk. Ojima and Hirokai talked and eventutally they fell asleep. Wada and Tamba went to find Mai, they split up, Wada grabbed a gun from the arsenal, then he and Tamba fell asleep. Wada found Ojima and started looking for people and well...found the body.
//At this point the class has hit a dead end before an epithany is reached; whoever stole Wada's food stash, was the same person who has been fucking with the cast all week, and also the one who killed Mai, with that the entire cast starts to recount all the strange events and how they could happen. With Hiroaki's reward, Okazaki more or less said she stole it so anyone could have gone into her room, get it and bring to Hiroaki, with his allegics with it being confirmed he's allergic to soy milk, it would be super easy to swap the soy and normal milk bottles around content wise so Hiroaki would be pouring soy milk into his coffee, but a dead end is reached since not only does that not narrow it done, but its done so generically that anyone could do it, heck Tamba was the one who suggested the milk swap. So it all backs to her note and the big issue is that its typed...yet the only printer in the school was destroyed by the fire last chapter but then when asked about the other notes Mai has gotten, its confimed they were handwritten and were on her person so they could get destroyed in the pool. Its then a horrid truth realises it, the culprit hasn't been planning for just a week; they have been planning for a lot longer then that, as their schemes started in Chapter 4 its just Watari's suicide beat them to the punch there, thus explaining how the note was made, it was made before the printer got destroyed.
//Some more talking reveals that there's a good chance what the 3rd reward was, we know Tamba's was a skeleton key to access all rooms, Wada's was access to the sercuirty cameras but the 3rd reward, the one which banned people going to their dorms, it was proposed that the reward was a blueprint of the entire school building, which includes where all the secret passways the staff have used where. Suddenly why the Arsenal and Wada's food stash couldn't be found makes more sense, they were in a secret passageway. It also explains how Mai could have died and got to the pool, the culprit used the secret passageways. But even with this knowledge, Hiroaki knows someone is lying, can't be him or Ojima since they have airtight alibis. Can't be Ken or Yanagi since they were locked in medbay all this time; so it boils down to Wada or Tamba and since Wada was caught on camera going into the arsenal to get a gun, which had he have the secret passageways he wouldn't have done, means he's okay since that more or less clears him, which means the only person it could have been...is Tamba.
//Now I knew Tamba was not the culprit ignoring the IQ for a moment, there was just too many unanswered questions on how Tamba could have killed Mai, but I have to applaud the culprit as this was SUCH a convincing fakeout, to the point that had something not happened, Tetro Pink would have joined SDRA2 as the second Fangan to have a wrong verdict. And even Hiroaki's own logic has holes since his whole "Tamba Culprit" theory relies on her being able to open doors with the skelton key but according to him, she lied about her reward and actually had the blueprints. Tamba also had TWO despair sprites as not only she breaks down but also as Hiroaki's logic manages to convince the entire class this was right, but since my culprit guess was Ken, I was watching his behaviour, and he wasn't saying anything, which was very sus indeed. Ngl this part of the stream became a mess for me since TA went into her reguarly scheduled breakdown since well...prior to this stream I expressed my concerns that we were due a Blackened victory and naturally she said no and I needed to stop being such doom and gloom, but I think those words I said to her ate away and caused such a meltdown, even with Bubbles saying there was a massive runtime left, and she kept sobbing as much as Tamba and we got to the voting but then Monomoko said this;
//"Are you absolutely sure you want to vote?"
//That...gave Hiroaki pause as he noted to Ojima that Monomoko has NEVER said that before which means...he was wrong...Tamba is not the culprit and had they voted Tamba, they would have died. Monomoko saving the cast was a natural conclusion since throughout Tetro Pink, she's shown she's more then just a mascot as she's a thinking being with thoughts and empathy, and has often gone behind the Mastermind's backs to aid the students which means for one last time, Monomoko has managed to save them, and while this would piss off the Masterminds, we don't care they suck, and TA made such a loud cheer when this fake out was revealed to be a fake out. Also props to Hiroaki, he might have been wrong but as soon as he realised something didn't add up, he immeidately tossed aside his own theory and owned up to his mistakes. So now Tamba HAS to be innocent but then we go back to the same problem as before; nobody could do it. So the gaze is shifted to Yanagi and Ken as the question became how they got locked in medbay and turns out a gurney was used to block the entrance which due to all the lights being off, there was no way for them to check, and if there was a secret passageway as soon as one of them went asleep the other could go out and kill Mai, but between Yanagi and Ken...who?
//I think this one is obvious there is no way Yanagi is gonna kill the very woman he did a love confession to, plus while Yanagi does have the smarts to fuck with people, and it explained why Tamba and Mai didn't get physically harmed, it would also mean the culpirt has to fake their own injuries and Yanagi was vomiting which is something you cannot fake. Ken on the otherhand was high and all we have is Mai saying "Yep he's high" with no evidence where the drugs that made Ken trip balls, come from. Plus he didn't even describe his symptoms, meaning he could fake being high. And as soon as realisation kicked in literally everyone pounced on Yanagi to stop him from literally beating Ken to death for what he did, and well Ken confessed, he did it because he lost all hope after Kamimura died, the one person he cared about and who cared about him was gone. And as far as he knew nobody else cared about Kamimura. This of course wasn't true, both Tamba and Mai had fond memories of Kamimura and missed him deeply too and Watari before she went off the deep end herself, tried to reach out to Ken as she knew how tough it must be when Kamimura died, but when depression hits it clouds your judgement. Plus he lost his medication, he was getting sick of everyone around him and finally, he learnt they were being watched and people were enjoying their suffering, this all meant he tried to take everyone down.
//He messed with everyone to make it so they couldn't solve the class trial, he went for Mai since she was the easiest to get when thoughts of escape hit her, and he also made Ojima not zone by claiming he hurt him while zoned out, which he never did it was fake. Plus he explioted the zoned out state to make Ojima drunk which is such a violation that no wonder he felt disgusted. Literally everyone was disgusted with Ken for what he did but I will say this first and forthmost;
//Ken might be the single smartest culpirt ever in the history of Danganronpa.
//And that IS a compliment as Ken planned for EVERYTHING, he had every possible variable under control, he weakened everyone so they couldn't fight back, he got the victim running off on her own, he killed her in a way that couldn't be traced back to him, he also had a alibi waiting, and he explioted realtionships so a wrong verdict could be drawn. The ONLY reason Ken failed was because the mascot stepped in and that wasn't something he could have predicted. This is much better then Kanade's "Oh Sora had a hunch and she dropped some antibiotics." In fact I have this to explain how awesome this was.
//And even his dying moments was awesome since when Ken was about to be executed, rather then do a tearful goodbye, or say a final fuck you to the cast, he did a fuck you to the Masterminds by leaking the Tetro Blue Roster. HOW Ken found this out, is unknown but the point is he knew it and he started listing names and this caused Head Scientist to freak out so much that she ordered Monomoko to start the execution.
//Ken's execution is...kinda similar to Nagito's execution in all fairness which makes sense since both were killed in Chapter 5 and I bet while it was going on, Ken was happy since he was gonna be with his lover soon.
//And that was the Class Trial and yeah HOLY SHIT. HOLY SHIT as this was SO close to a Blackened win due to the lack of evidence, the stressed out mindsets of everyone, and a convincing fallgirl since Tamba killing Mai made more sense then Iroha killing Setsuka. And really the only reason they failed was due to the mascot stepping in which was something that was foreshadowed for some time now.
//I am also pleased I have a perfect streak on culprits since I guess Ken killed Mai and did it to fuck with the Killing Game and I was right! Okay so I didn't get the fact he was hating everyone since the 3rd chapter, but in terms of Culprits I'm 5/5 which I NEVER get really, normally I get one or two wrong. Here's hoping this streak contuines into Tetro Blue!
//In terms of Trials this is a 9/10 for me since the emotion, the tension and the twists were all so good and such a fitting finale to a amazing fangan.
//And that's the first part which is the entire Chapter 5 Deadly Life and Class Trial! Next part will be the Tetro Pink Finale and my final thoughts so see ya then.
#review anon talks#tetro danganronpa spoilers#tetro danganronpa pink#tdp#part 1 of finale post#so yeah this is the deadly life and class trial of chapter 5#and you can see why i split it up#otherwise it would get too long#so tomorrow i should get the tdp finale and my thoughts on the whole thing#then part 3 will be my thoughts for tetro blue#whenever that comes

i could barely speak (i could only hum a tune)
Fandom: FNAF Movie
Ship: SecurityWaiter
Series: Auctober 2024
<- Previous | Masterlist | Next ->
Summary: Mike visits the pizzeria. Ness is waiting (not that Mike knows it)
AN: Title is from My farewells to the fields by Yaelokre
Mike is autistic (so is Ness but it doesn't rlly come up)
This is an AU of my own creation, the Ness Cadet AU (I know Candy Cadet is not at Freddy's in the movie, let me have this)
Written for Auctober Day 5: Verbose
Read on AO3
"Hey. It's just me again.." Mike wasn't sure why he felt the need to announce his presence. The rusted robot in the corner didn't respond.
Mike slumped into the chair that now sat alongside Candy Cadet (he had reluctantly dragged it over from the main dining area after his third visit. It was better than sitting on the old carpet, he supposed).
"How you doing, buddy?" He asked the machine.
Candy Cadet said nothing, of course.
"Hang on, I think I've got something for you." Mike dug through the pockets of his coat, searching for something, dropping things into his lap to help locate what he was looking for. Scraps of paper with reminders written on them, a couple of pennies, a bit of string, a long forgotten raffle ticket, general odds and ends that got shoved into pockets before disappearing from memory.
A crumpled bit of paper fell to the floor and he reached down to retrieve it. His hand trembled slightly when he realised it was a receipt from Sparky's. He felt sick to his stomach at the sight of Ness's handwriting at the bottom, a wave of grief crashing over him once again.
(Mike used to go to Sparky's with Abby to see Ness while he was stuck working a shift. They couldn't chat for long, but Ness would leave notes for him on the receipts. Mike had appreciated every single one but he had always thrown them away in the end. He didn't have space to keep every single one, no matter now precious each one was to him now. He hung onto this one like it was made of solid gold though)
He shoved the paper back into the pocket of his jeans, trying to push away the crushing weight of all that had happened.
"Sorry..." he mumbled, wiping away the couple of tears that fell from his eyes. "I don't even know why I talk to you, you know. You're not...you don't know I'm even talking to you. We can't have a conversation."
He finally found what he was looking for, a quarter buried at the bottom of his pocket. He slipped it into the coin slot and shoved all the miscellaneous junk back into his coat.
"Can...candy, candy." Candy Cadet's robotic voice flickered to life and his colourful lights flashed unsteadily. A light clatter signalled the arrival of an out of date piece of candy.
"Wow, two. Must be my lucky day." He gave a half-hearted smile and grabbed the two sweets. One cola flavoured, the other orange. Ness's favourites. Again.
"Are these the only ones you have left or something?" Mike asked. He didn't expect the machine to answer.
"Let me tell you a story."
"Huh. That's the first time you've done that." He leaned back in his chair, arms crossed and listening.
"A story about a boy and his friend. Once, there was a young boy who lived on the edge of a forest. Every night, he would wander through the dark forest, watching out for an evil wizard in order to protect the creatures of the forest from him."
Mike raised an eyebrow at the machine.
"One night, he met another boy in the forest. The other boy had heard about the wizard and wanted to see if the stories were true."
It doesn't know. It can't. It's just a coincidence.
"The two boys quickly became friends, running through the forest and laughing together every night. Soon, the boy completely forgot about the wizard or why he was in the forest at all. Until one night."
"Lemme guess, the evil wizard comes back and kills the friend." Mike aimed for sarcasm but his voice was cracking.
"The boys were playing in the woods, carefree and happy. But the wizard found them. Determined to show his power, he killed one of the boys. The other fled."
Mike felt the guilt hit him all over again. He should have tried harder to save Ness. There was so much he could've done.
"Days later, the boy returned to the forest to look for his friend's body. But it was nowhere to be found. He did not know that the wizard had hidden the corpse inside of a tree or that his soul was trapped inside."
His soul was trapped inside. Soul was trapped inside. Soul trapped inside. Soul trapped. Soul trapped.
"His friend cried out for him, trying his hardest to get him to listen. But the boy could not hear."
Then Candy Cadet powered down, leaving Mike in silence.
He couldn't breathe. Ness...Ness couldn't possibly still be here. He wasn't... his soul trapped inside.
"I have to go." His voice was tight as he leapt out the chair and ran for the exit.
He heard Candy Cadet's speaker crackle and croak about candy but he didn't even glance back.
-
Mike!
"Candy."
Mike, please come back.
"Get your candy."
I'm right here, sugar.
"Let me tell you a story."

The Freddy Fazbear and Jackie Show
youtube
Now I have brought up that I was excited about this change and I wanted to wait a bit and see what it was like before I gave my opinion on it. As I like to truly get a feel and collect my thoughts on something and be sure of my feelings in order to give an honest review. And now we've had all the basics, a react, a game, a few plot episodes and one where Pianosaurus even showed up. I think that's enough to get a good grasp on some things.
So... how do I like the show so far? (Slight Spoilers)
Honestly...
Given how little we actually know about the in-game version of Jackie at this point, I think that what we are seeing is a fairly decent guess as to how they might be portrayed. Personally, I enjoy their zany nature. Their snarky comments actually got me laughing quite hard in some instances and frankly I find that their avatar in the Squid Games and the reaction videos is actually a very good look, personally I find it very cute and it suits the character. But the one thing that I like particularly is how they AREN'T an exact replica of Funtime Freddy...
Which I will admit to being pretty afraid was going to be the route they were going to take...
Funtime Freddy was established to be... Well... Funtime Freddy. That character was endearing and has been around so long that it would be very difficult and even a bit borderline insulting to the shows longtime fans if they just tried to put in a character with an absolutely identical personality. Fortunately that's not what they did with Jackie.
From what we've seen so far, Jackie is snarky, oblivious and is showing themselves to be a bit clingy. Trying to push themselves into the position of Freddy's friend, presumably out of severe isolation and loneliness for being stuck in Fazbears storage for over 50+ years...
Also developing a seemingly irrational hatred of the fire extinguishers around the pizzeria. Which I found oddly funny 🤣😅
But there are some underlying red flags Jackie does show. As they are established to be a type of Mimic right off the bat and that brings a certain amount of underlying distrust with Freddy, rightfully so given what he has experienced first hand with Mimics before. Jackie is shown to be deeply afraid of being put back in storage again. They clearly have been mentally scarred by their isolation, and they are very vocal about their desire to be violent towards children and parents. Actions they explain that they are just barely resisting acting upon.
And in the biggest red flag instance of all, they are seemingly speaking to themselves about some ulterior motives that they may have now that they have been let out...
Now, with just 7 episodes out this is just a preliminary observation. But the biggest question of all is:
Is it enjoyable to watch? My answer...
I genuinely like it. :)
Do I like it on the same level as TSAMS or EAPS and LAES? No. But that's my bias and I can admit to that. Security Breach Sun and Moon actually got me into the FNAF fandom to begin with. So those shows I will always put higher than the rest. But how would I rank this one in regards to the other shows? I think it's a little early to make that call. For me personally, The Freddy and Funtime Freddy Show had been my 4th place favorite show of them all and after watching the new show for seven days, I am going to say that it's going to keep that placement.
At least for now...
So yeah, that is just my thoughts on this show so far. Take of it what you will. I enjoy watching it. Other people might have some different opinions and that's cool, different tastes make the world go round after all. Personally I'd recommend giving it a watch with an open mind, the world needs more things to laugh at nowadays in my opinion. I definitely think it's worth checking out.
I'm also very interested to see how more potential information about Secrets of the Mimic that we might be getting this week during the State of Play will affect things going forward. I'm hopeful that the new game will bring some renewed interest in all of these shows in general. So here's to hoping it goes well! ^^

*if you're not a good cook, pretend
This idea would not leave my mind for a long ass time guys.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You wait in the hallway waiting till he finishes talking to his job counselor.
Since you were a kid and it- you've never been good at waiting for too long.
Part of you wants to text him and ask if he's almost done but you can’t do that and ruin his chance to keep Abby.
You bite the skin on the side of your thumb, foot bouncing as the clock ticking a few feet away goes in one ear and out the other. You drop your hand at the slight painful sensation that comes from where you were biting.
You glance down and see the small spot of red, rubbing the area to get rid of it. You close your eyes, bending forward with your head down and your hands on your knees to keep you upright.
The door opens.
Your head snaps over in his direction.
He looks even more worn out than before.
He briefly holds eye contact with you and gestures for the two of you to go.
You stand up before he passes you, you glance over his shoulder and find the counselor, standing there with a cup of coffee.
His stare sends a shiver down your spine.
You lower your head, spin around and follow Michael, who was waiting by the door for you.
-
You don’t want to upset him by asking but if you don’t, who knows when he'll tell you what happened.
Another red light and you’re still debating on asking.
"Was it helpful?"
"No."
"There's nothing out there?"
"No," he sighs. "There was- he had a job, but the hours aren't good. It's a night job."
"Oh."
He sighs, "yeah."
"Maybe I can see if we have an opening?" You offer.
He shakes his head. "No. It's- it's fine. I’ll figure out something."
"Mike-"
"I don't want to start this again."
"I just want to help you. I know how much it means for you to have this job."
"I'll figure it out."
You reach over and squeeze his hand, offering a small smile. "I know you’ll figure it out. I just want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone. It's not all on you." You open the car door. "Thanks for the ride again."
He watches as you walk into your work, always making sure you're exactly where you should be.
-
You walk through the door with dinner. "Hey." You greet Max, giving her a small portion of what Michael owes her.
She shakes her head, denying the money.
"You've been helping him out for so long now, please take it. He doesn't need to keep worrying about this," you whispered to her.
She glances down at the thin wad of cash in your hands; she closes her eyes, thinking about the Schmidt’s aunt and their deal. “Thank you,” Max whispers.
She’s going to pay you back and then some.
“I brought dinner.”
“We were just about to eat,” he tells you, standing in the kitchen.
“Not anything edible,” Abby mutters.
Her brother sighs.
You smile at her while setting the bags on the counter. “Scoot, I got it.”
“I’m gonna have to learn how to cook at some point.”
“Not tonight, I’m excited. Scoot.” You push him out of your way, amusing the young girl at the table.
She continues working on her recent drawing, one with you in it, of course.
-
“I think I’m going to take it.”
You turn away from the TV to look at him. “Take what?”
"The job."
"The night one? I thought didn't want that one?" He shrugs, glancing at the wall. "It's better than nothing. I'll still be able to fight my aunt with this job."
"I understand why you're doing this but are you sure you can handle it?"
He glances at you with furrowed brows. "What do you mean?"
You tilt your head, staring at him with sad eyes.
"I worry about you enough with your shitty sleep schedule now. This is just going to send me into old age."
"Who says you aren't already?"
You scoff, shoving his shoulder. "Don't be a dick." You cover your mouth, hiding your yawn. "I'm gonna clean the dishes and then crash on your couch."
He pushes himself off the couch, following you. "I can do that. You should start getting ready for bed."
You take the other dishes from him. "Mike, stop. Go to bed. I've got this and you," you boop his nose causing him to scrunch his face in confusion. "Need to go to bed. Start preparing for work. This is the least I can do for the number of times you've let me stay here… and the car rides."
"You know I don't mind doing it."
You sigh, placing your hands on his shoulders. "I know but this is the only way I can show how much I appreciate it." You wrap your arms around him, hugging him tightly. "Stop stalling and go to bed."
"Yes, ma'am."
You shake your head. "I'll see you in the morning. Why don't you sleep in, and I'll take Abbs?"
"I don't know."
"We got this. If you're not up. I'm taking her."
"Okay."
-
He's out cold when you open the door to check on him.
You shake your head, walking down the short hallway. "He's out. Looks like I'll be taking you, sweet pea."
"Are you and my brother dating?"
"Has my answer changed since the last time you asked me?" You ask, setting her plate in front of her.
She shakes her head, "no."
"And what do you think now?"
"Yes?"
"Abby-"
She groans. "Come on, you two are like perfect for each other. He really likes you; you know."
"I would like to think so, otherwise our friendship is a lie."
"No," she shakes her head. "He really likes you."
"Where'd you hear that?" "
I asked him."
"You did?" You raise a brow.
"No, but I know these things."
"You've never had a boyfriend; how would you know?"
"My friends."
-
You went to work and came back just in time for the brother and sister duo to walk through the door, keeping you on the phone.
"What happened?"
They both shrug, neither wanting to give you an answer.
"Max isn't answering," he says through the phone.
"Did you try her again?"
"I've been trying all day."
You sigh. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm just- I'm a little stressed right now."
"Do you want me to watch her?"
"No, it's fine."
"Mike, I can watch her. It's no problem."
“No, no. I- what if you come with us? You can watch her there.”
“Wouldn’t it be smarter if I watched her at your place?”
“I- I don’t want you two to be alone.”
You sigh, “Mike, nothing will happen. You know I’ll do whatever I can for her.”
“I know but maybe it’ll be better if you two get out of the house in- instead of being all cooped up, right?”
You know you’re not going to win with him. “Yeah, sure. I’ll be there in a few.”
He shakes his head, although you can’t see it. “No, we can come get you. Your house is on the way.”
It is, in fact, not on the way there but he doesn’t want you walking in the cold. “Okay, call me when you’re about to leave.”
“We’ll be there soon.”
“Okay. Bye, Mikey.” You groan as soon as the call ends. “Mikey. Seriously?"
Abby notices her brothers’ flushed cheeks. "Did you finally ask her out?"
He turns to her with furrowed brows. "Wh- what? No. Why would you ask that?"
She shrugs and searches through the drawers, needing something for her drawings.
He walks down the hallway and enters his room, searching for his work clothes.
-
You walk through the door (even after he told you not to walk to their house) and see the previously jammed drawer fall onto the floor.
You slam the door shut and rush to her. "Oh my god." You grab her by her shoulders, checking her over. "Are you okay?"
She nods before trying to clean up.
You help her until your eyes stop on the yellow paper.
Michael rushes out of his room. "What happened? Are you okay?"
"I made a mess," she mumbles. "I'm sorry."
You stare at him with raised brows, waiting for him to explain himself to her (and you).
He's been working too hard to give her up to someone you know doesn't care about her or her well-being.
He tries his best to explain to her that it's not what she thinks.
Abby gets upset and runs to her room.
You clean up the mess and jam the drawer back into its place. "Are you serious, Mike?"
"What?"
"You've worked so hard to keep her in your life and you have the other, terrible option might I add, within reach for her to find!?"
"It's not like that."
"Then tell me because sometimes I don't know what's going on in your head no matter how hard I try to figure it out." You take a deep breath. "Just- tell me you're not really thinking about this?"
"I- I'm not. It's just- my aunt is really pushing this and-"
"If she's giving you guys problems. Tell me, I might be able to figure out something to help, okay?"
"Okay," he rushes out, sounding annoyed.
"I'm sorry for this, Mike. I am but believe me when I say that this is not the way to do things."
"Did you-"
"I'm gonna go check on her. You need to figure things out." You brush past him, shoulder knocking into his chest.
You softly knock on the door. "Abbs?" You turn the handle and walk in. "Are you okay?"
She sits in her chair unable to color.
"Sweetie, you can tell me." You sit on her bed. "You know, when I was a younger, my parents did the same thing, but they didn't get far."
"They did?"
You nod.
"Why?"
"Something happened when I was a kid and I just," you wipe your hands on your knees. "I don't like to talk about it often. How about we go make cupcakes before we go to work with your brother?"
"We're going with him?" She asks as you open the door.
You nod. "Yeah, he doesn't want you to be here alone and since I'm the only one nice enough to talk to him, he doesn't want us to be alone while he's out."
"That makes sense."
"Does it? I think he just likes to be in control just a little too much."
She giggles and grabs your hand, pulling you down the short hallway.
You narrow your eyes at him as he sits at the table, slumped in the chair.
You know your look made him feel worse, but you don't care, putting that someplace where she could find it so, she can up with the worse scenarios is a horrible thing for a child to go through… other than- Abby calls out for you.
You blink once and hum. "Any requests?"
Neither of the Schmidt siblings answers you as they glance at one another, curious as to what just happened.
Dinner was more silent than normal, but it wasn't completely unbearable.
It was kind of, therapeutic. Then it was time to go.
“Alright, grab your stuff. We won’t be there long and we’ll be back soon.”
-
A child’s whisper calling out for Abby alerts you, even more so when two children’s voices call out yours.
You’re scared to open your eyes, reminding you of the one time you asked your parents to check your room for monsters when you heard something coming from your closet. You pull the blanket closer, having it act as a barrier.
You take a deep breath and focus on the light coming from Abby’s fort, thinking back to when- she softly shakes your arm, whispering your name. “Yeah, Abbs?”
“I have to go to the bathroom.”
You nod, tossing the blanket off you, holding your hand out for her to take. “Let’s go.”
-
You walk through the vaguely familiar hallways and stop at the bathroom.
“Do you want me to come in with you?”
She shakes her head, “I’ll be fine.”
You nod and watch as she goes in, keeping an eye on her until the door closes.
You turn and nearly jump out of your skin when you see the stage curtain moving.
Your eyes wander around the stage while you silently think a little hail Mary… and for Abby to hurry.
“All done.”
“Great, let’s go back before your brother realizes you’re gone.”
“But there’s someone else here.” She walks towards the stage and you chase after her.
“Abby, you need to stop running-”
Your jaw drops and you can’t speak anymore once you see the glowing red eyes staring back at you.
They walk down and huddle around the two of you.
You wrap your around her, pulling the girl closer to you not knowing how to protect her or get her out of this situation safely.
“I don’t think they want to hurt us.”
“And how would you know that?”
“They’re my friends.” She pushes your arms off her and greets them, they start tickling her, easing a small portion of your fears and concerns.
Then the fox and chick animatronic start tickling you and you two are giggling your heads off.
This was definitely not what he was expecting when he heard you two screaming from the security office.
All he sees are the large animatronics which trigger his fight or flight mode. He raises the chair higher at the sight of Freddy, who glares at him in return.
“Guys, this is my brother Mike.” Abby smiles, introducing everyone to each other. “Mike, these are my friends.”
His eyes wander around the room, checking over everyone to make sure everything is okay before he starts searching for you.
He slowly calms down at the sight of your head when you turn around. All he sees is the big smile on your guys faces and slowly, places the chair back where he found it.
He doesn’t know what else to do and grabs the two of you before anything else can happen.
The little girl breaks free and places a drawing in the bear's hand.
“They like drawings,” she explains to her brother.
“Bye guys. We’ll be back soon.” She waves and the two who seem to have taken a liking to you, wave more excitedly to you.
-
You wave back before her brother grabs your hand and pulls you two back to the security office to grab all your stuff.
"Abby, get in the car."
She settles into the back but not you, he pulls you back to talk to you.
"What was that?"
After making sure she was all settled in, you turn to him. "What do you mean?"
"You just let her get too close to those- those things. What if she had gotten hurt?"
"Don't do that to me. You're the one that wouldn't let me watch her at home, Mike. You brought us here."
He wants to apologize because he knows he's upset and taking it out on you which isn’t fair.
You get in the car, careful not to slam the door (no matter how hard you want to) because you don’t want to disturb the sleepy girl.
He walks back to the car with his head down, knowing he royally screwed up.
You don't try and talk to him like you normally do and keep your gaze on everything around you.
-
As soon as the car is put in park, you get out and grab all the bags.
He sighs, watching you basically run into the house and checks on Abby.
You get started on making breakfast because you're hungry and know the other two will be as soon as they smell it.
The moment the last plate touched the table, the Schmidt siblings are out of their rooms and sneaking towards the kitchen.
You gesture for them to sit down so they can get started.
The clinking of your utensils hitting the plates is the only noise echoing throughout the kitchen. Abby finishes and runs back to her room to draw more.
You start cleaning up, leaving the man in silence.
"I'm sorry."
You don't acknowledge his apology and continue cleaning up.
"I know what I said was wrong and I shouldn't have taken it out on you, but you know, she could have gotten hurt."
You glance at him over your shoulder and nod. "I know that, and I wouldn't have let anything happen to her. You know that and that's why I'm hurt."
The chair scooting across the floor alerts you.
His presence calms you even with how angry you are. He leans closer, "I know but I was- I was scared I was going to lose-"
"Abby like you did, Garrett, I know," you whisper, letting the tears trickle down your face.
"It's not just that. I mean, yeah it was mainly that, but I was also scared I was going to lose you too."
You wipe your cheeks.
His hand inches towards you.
You spin around and throw yourself into his arms, he takes a step back before balancing himself. "You're an idiot," you mumble.
The vibrations coming from his chest as he chuckles send a shiver down your spine and you pull yourself away from him.
He stays where he is, barely a foot away from you, studying you. He reaches forward, wiping your cheeks. "Better?"
You roll your eyes and return to the dishes.
He wraps an arm around your waist, leaning against you. "I'm gonna go check on Abby before I go to my room."
You nod.
"Do you need a ride to work?"
"No, it's fine. I don't have another shift for a few days."
"Okay, let me know if you do."
"I will."
He hesitates to leave or hesitates to peck your cheek.
You stand still, not entirely sure what just happened. 'Did he just-' you think to yourself. Now you're starting to question some things but don't dwell on it.
-
You sit down, relaxing on the couch, waiting for your tiredness to hit.
Your head droops every so often, waking you up each time it happens; eventually you change positions and try to go to sleep.
You open your eyes and find yourself… back there. You look around, searching for someone, anyone to help you.
Children giggling, the video games near you buzzing and beeping; you spin around when a breeze passes you. “Hey.”
The kid in orange stops looking over his shoulder.
Flashes of him and the fox animatronic flash through your mind.
You whine, falling to the ground as you hold your head.
“Are you okay?” A child’s voice manages to come through all the noise.
Your hands slide down your face as you lift your head to search where the voice is coming from. Your eyes widen, you know her. “Who-”
“Why are you sad?”
“I- I don’t know.”
“Did you not have fun?” You blink once, processing her question.
“What?”
She pouts. “Did you not have fun earlier?”
You push yourself off the ground. “What do you mean? I- I’ve never- I-” She starts walking away.
“I have to go now. The yellow rabbit’s back.”
You follow her, fighting to get through the crowd.
You reach for her, just a few inches shy of grabbing her. You push yourself back, ready to apologize for the person you bumped into.
They turn around, smiling.
“There you are, I thought you were going to the restroom?”
Your jaw drops. “Mom?”
“Come on,” she grabs your wrist. “We’re about to miss them cutting the cake.”
“Wha-”
“You and Susie were so excited for Fritz’s party. I’m surprised you forgot about the cake.”
You furrow your brows, unsure of anything that’s happening. “We missed you.”
You wake up, eyes blurred after not being open for a bit. Abby sits in front of the couch, drawing yet again. “Abbs?”
“Yeah?”
-
“Was last night real?”
She nods.
“Are you sure?”
Even though she confirmed your thoughts, it still doesn’t feel real.
Her brother wakes up to find the two of you quietly drawing and smiles at the sight, seeing you two together always made his heartbeat faster… or maybe it was you?
He tilts his head, furrowing his brows thinking back to when he quickly pecked your cheek. He hopes neither of you look over, otherwise you’ll see his flushed cheeks and he doesn’t want to have to lie about the real reason.
Maybe that’s why he was terrified for both you and Abby last night.
He wonders how long he’s been feeling this way, was it before Garrett?
Is that why he’d always invite you over and not just because you always found ways to include his brother?
Maybe when he's done with his shift and he’s saved up a little bit more he can take you out on a date, a proper one.
He shakes his head; he's getting too ahead of himself.
Why would you ever want to date him? He's not worthy of dating, you.
"Are going to come with us tonight?"
You slowly turn your head in her direction, "what do you mean?"
"Max still isn't answering so I'm going with Mike. Can you come with us? My friends really like you."
"The- they do?"
She nods, "they say you're nice and remind them of someone they used to know."
"Oh." You sit up straighter, looking over her head to catch her brother's eye.
He tilts his head, not knowing what she told you.
You push yourself off the ground and briskly walk towards him, pulling him closer towards the fridge so, the little girl doesn't see you whisper shout at her brother. "What are you doing?"
He doesn't pull his arm out of your grasp.
Is this what it means to be touch starved?
"What do you mean?"
"You're taking her again? What happened to you being pissed because I let her get too close to them?"
A sad sigh escaped through his nose. "Her friends might know who took Garrett."
You owlishly blink, wondering how your friend can be so caring but such a dumbass. You pinch the bridge of your nose. "Seriously?"
"What? You know I always try to think back to see if I can remember anything but I- it's never enough."
Your head snaps up. "Mike, listen to me, please. Don't get upset when I tell you this."
"What?"
"You need to stop. Focusing on the past it’s not good for you or," you gesture to the little girl in the living room. "Her, she is your present, okay. She should be your priority because she is still here," your voice cracks. You're doing all you can to hold back your tears. "You need to let him go."
He takes a step back, staring at you with an angered expression.
You know it wasn't your place to tell him this but no one else is. "I'll go after tonight. Let me spend one more night with her and I'll be out of your guy's hair when we get back, okay?"
"Honestly, I don't know if I should after hearing that."
You sigh, "Mike." You don’t want to beg, it'd be pointless but if you can cause a little less heartbreak, maybe it'd be worth it. "I know right now you probably hate me, but you also know that I wouldn't say anything without a reason."
You walk back into the living room when she shows a drawing of you and two other kids. "Abby?" Your voice wavers, "where did you find this?"
"I drew it. Do you not like it?"
You furrow your brows and stare at the page. "You didn’t take this?"
She scoffs, "no."
"I- I'm sorry, Abbs. I believe you-"
She shakes her head and grabs her belongings before stomping to her room.
"What's wrong with the picture?" Michael asks.
You bury your head in your hands. "Nothing."
"Well, clearly, it's not nothing."
You lift your head, using the sleeves of your crewneck to wipe your cheeks. "Do you remember when I wasn't in school for a while?"
His brows knit together as he tries to think back.
"It was a little bit before Garrett was taken," you whisper. "I- um- I think I used to go to Freddy's after school with a couple of our neighbors, but I don't remember anything after that."
“What are you trying to say?”
“Something happened when I was a kid, and I haven’t been able to get over it. That’s why I’m so freaked out. I remember drawing this but anything else after that is lost on me.”
“I didn’t know.”
“I barely remember and now I’m freaking out.”
He sits beside you pulling you in for a hug.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper.
“Don’t- don't apologize about it.” Now he feels horrible.
Abby listened to your conversation from the crack she left open in the door and knows they gotta do something to make you happy.
-
“Are you sure you want to come with us? I mean, you don’t have to,” he tells you.
You grab your bag and nod, “I got this. It’ll be fine.” You look out the door, seeing the girl in the back of his car. "And, then I'll be out of your hair."
"Don't- don't worry about it. I forgot what you said."
"Mike."
"Let's go. I don't want either of you to be alone."
-
You exited the bathroom and found Vanessa talking to Michael.
You don't know whether to walk over to them or join Abby.
The choice is made for you when the little girl and the animatronics gesture for you to come over.
You glance over at the two, your chest hurts temporarily as you think there might be something going on between the two but realize that you're not here to watch them moon over each other, you're here for Abby.
You wander closer towards them, hopping on the stage with the gang.
They start singing and you hold your hand out for Abby to take, spinning her around and she gets a brilliant idea.
-
The fort was finished and you all crawl underneath. "I think it's going to rain soon."
"Looks like we're gonna need a roof. I know where they keep the blankets when we had parties."
Michael pushes himself off the ground, "I'll come with you." He turns around to whisper to Abby, who assures him that she'll get the info he wants.
He perks over at you, wondering if he should really follow her or not. He has to talk to her and knows you'll look after his sister.
You close your eyes to try and get your mind off wondering if he and Vanessa are going to get together. You can hear their voices, but they slowly become quieter and quieter as time goes on.
-
You wake and find yourself in the ball pit. This is not where you-
"Hello?" You whisper.
It's not the smartest thing to do but you did it anyway.
You crawl out of the pit only to find no one else around.
"Great, they left me and now I'm here alone." You sigh and wander around, hoping to find someone.
Children's laughter passes by you.
You spin around, searching for the kids and find no one. "Just find a way out and you'll be fine."
The tapping on your back alarms you.
You spin around once more to find a child with a hook and red hair. You furrow your brows. "Are you here alone?"
He shakes his head, another child, a blonde little girl comes out of nowhere.
"Are you- are you two-" You cover one eye and make a hook with the other.
They nod.
"Oh, so you're- you're kids."
"We're your friends."
"What?"
-
You open your eyes and find Abby staring down at you.
"They're going to perform for us."
"They are?" She nods excitedly and continues to pull you up, off the ground.
Michael and Vanessa returned but neither of you noticed.
She notices the look he has whenever he’s near you or talks to you. “When are you going to tell her?”
He turns back to the blonde. “What are you talking about?”
“You're in love with her.”
He scoffs, shaking his head. “What are you talking about?”
“You're in love and you haven't told her, why?”
He opens his mouth to reply but falls short.
“What are you scared of?”
“I- nothing.”
She turns to check on you two, her teasing expression falls.
You heard her voice and glanced back at the girl, who's close to touching Bonnie's guitar. You were already holding her other hand and reached out to stop her but are too late.
The two of you fall backwards onto the stage, passing out for a few moments.
Abby is the first to wake, asking what happened.
Vanessa holds her, calming her, glaring at the girl's brother.
You slowly open your eyes, and his face is the first one you see. Your brows knit together, trying to figure out what happened.
“Hey, hey,” he calls out to you, holding your head. “Are you okay?”
You groan, closing your eyes trying to not think of the pain. “No.”
He huffs, lowering his head, thankful that you haven't lost your sense of sarcasm. 'Thank god,' he thinks to himself.
He doesn't know what he would have done if anything had happened to you, either of you. He can't lose anyone else in his life.
The three of you leave earlier that night, much like when you all discovered the animatronics secrets.
-
You sit in the car, staring at the house. “You can’t let her go back there, Mike.”
He looks away from her and checks you out, silently hoping nothing has happened to you physically. “I know. She won’t.”
“Take care of her, okay.” You open the door, and he grabs your arm, keeping you inside the vehicle.
“Don’t.”
You hesitantly settle back into the seat. “I told you all I wanted was one last night.”
“You’re not leaving. I- we can’t lose you. I don’t know what I’d do if we never saw you again.”
“Even after everything I said?”
He pauses before responding, “I’m not focusing on that.”
“That was the reason you were so upset,” you hissed at him, being wary of your volume with the sleeping girl in the back. “I don’t want to step on any more toes, okay?”
“You’re not… as long as you promise not to leave.”
The corners of your lips twitch. “I won’t but I do have to go home and get ready for work.”
He shakes his head, “you don’t need to. I have some of your things. You can get ready here.”
“I am perfectly capable of being on my own.”
“I know you are but I’m more concerned about you especially with everything that happened.”
“I'm fine but if it means so much to you for me to be here then I'll stay but once I'm done with my shift, I'm going home, okay? I need to grab a few things and maybe do some laundry while I'm at it.” You chuckle, wanting to give him a piece of mind.
He nods, “deal.”
You get out of the car, grabbing everyone's bags so he could put Abby to bed, giving you a sense of deja vu.
Once he's got her tucked into bed, he ventures down the hallway, checking in you… again. “Showers free, if you want it.”
You look up from the dining chair, giving him a tired smile in return. “You sure?”
“Yeah, I just got to make a phone call and then I'll head to my room.”
You nod, rubbing your eyes. “Okay.”
His heart tugs at an unusual feeling, one he never thought he'd get the privilege of having.
He doesn't stop watching until the bathroom door closes and now, he hesitates to make the call.
He doesn't want to prove her right but this just- it can't happen again. And it won't, if his aunt takes care of Abby. He can't imagine the face you're going to give him when you see her.
The water turns on and he waits for a bit until he knows it's safe to make the call.
You exit the bathroom, securing the t-shirt on your head.
“Hey,” his eyes are drawn to your head. “Is that my shirt?”
You shrug, “I don't know, maybe.”
“Okay, anyway. Don't get mad.”
Your head jerks back. “Why would I get mad?”
“I called her.”
“Call who?”
“My aunt.”
You’re face turns sour as soon as your mind processed what he said. “You're getting my foot so far up your ass, you won't know which end was what.”
“Hey, hey,” he grabs your arms. “It's for her safety.”
“That doesn’t make this easier.”
“I know it doesn't but it's the smart choice… right?”
You're at a stalemate, no matter what answer you give him, it's not going to give him the peace of mind he's looking for. “Do you think it was a smart idea?” You finally ask.
“It's better for Abby.”
“And what about you?”
“Abby is more important.”
“You both deserve to be happy.” You check on the clock, “it's almost time for me to go so I'm going to finish getting ready and I'll be out of your hair for the day. I won't be able to babysit her tonight.”
He nods, “I kinda figured which is also why I called our aunt.”
“If you two can talk and figure out a good solution that won't make her feel like she's being taken and sent to your guy's aunt, I'm right behind you.”
He nods, “thank you.”
You walk out of the bathroom searching for Michael before grabbing your bag. “Mike?”
He's not in the kitchen so you move over to the living room and then his room.
You peek in the crack of his door, finding him lying in his bed, staring at the ceiling.
You enter, closing the door behind you, not wanting to wake up Abby. “I'm gonna go now.”
He nods lazily.
“Are you gonna be, okay?”
“Yeah,” his voice comes out deep, you know he's on the verge of passing out.
“Okay, I'll see you guys tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow? I thought you were coming back tonight?”
“My shift ends just as you're halfway to Freddy's. I don't want to come in and scare Abby.”
“Okay, call me when you get there?”
“I'll do you one better.” You sit on the edge of his bed, hand near his. “I'll text you on the phone you like to forget you have.”
“I don't forget I have it.”
“You do.”
“Whatever,” he chuckles. “I'll see you later.”
You exit his room, leaving it open a little (in case Abby needs him he told you once).
“Wait.”
You try to ask him if you forgot anything when his warm hand cups your cheek. “Mikey?”
He leans in, your noses are touching. “Tell me if this is a bad idea and I'll back away,” he whispers, staring into your eyes.
“It's not.”
His eyes drift down to yours.
You can't take it anymore and go for it.
His surprised squeak makes you smile. He leans in when you pull away.
“I've really got to go.”
“I know.”
“You need to let me go so I can go to work.”
He opens his eyes and stares at the ground. “Sorry.”
“Don't be. I didn't back away.”
“I- uh-”
“What is it?”
“I like it when you,” he clears his throat. “I like it when you call me Mikey. No one else does.”
The corner of your lips twitch, curving upwards. “Good to know.” You bunch the front of his shirt in your hand and kiss him once more before leaving.
You shake your head, smiling from ear to ear while ignoring the heat from your cheeks.
Work wasn’t anything more than what you expected which was nice, better with what you’d been dealing with the last few days.
-
You collapse into the chair you have in your living room, trying not to fall asleep only to wind up taking a nap.
The sound of knocking alarms you, you jolt awake trying to make sense of your surroundings.
You open the door, only to find the one person you least expected to find here. "Mr. Raglan?"
He lifts his head and smiles. "Hi, you’re Michael's friend, right?"
You nod, "I am. What's this about?"
"Can I come in?"
Your mind tells you not to let him in, you get an unsettling feeling from him. "Actually, I need to get ready for work so, if you could just-"
His hand clamps around the door as you try to close it on him. "Actually," he slams the door shut behind him. "That's not going to happen. You see, I was trying to be nice and let you come with me but then you started thinking again, just like you did when you were a kid. And now, now I'm going to kill you."
Your eyes widen, heart beating about a hundred miles an hour.
"But not yet, of course because we," he grabs your wrist and pulls you closer before you can run away. "Have a show to put on." His eyes are emotionless the more you look into them. "Nighty night."
-
You fight to open your eyes; the loud mechanical stomping hurts your ears; you whine covering them.
You're pulled away and fight the hands holding you.
She shushes you, “shut up. Shut up.” Vanessa rips your hands away from your ears, holding your head to make you focus on her. “You need to get Abby and Mike and get them out of here. Do you understand?”
“I can’t- I can’t-” You start hyperventilating.
She shakes your shoulders, trying to get you out of it. “You need to get them out of here.”
You nod. “Where are they?” You sniff, wiping your cheeks.
“Mike went to grab Abby; they should be getting back here now.”
She pulls you up, the two of you stay close to the walls as you search for them.
Abby runs out, you grab her before she could expose herself to the animatronics.
You glance back, looking for the blonde and find no one around. “Where’s your brother?”
“Back there. He fought the cupcake.”
The loud stomping sends a shiver down your spine.
“Abbs, we need to hide.”
“Where?”
You turn your head, looking around. “Ball pit.” You grab her and carry her. “Stay here.”
Her fingernails dig into your hand. “Where are you going?”
“Stay here. I’m- I’m going to be right here. If they catch me, you run.”
She shakes her head, “I can’t.”
“Abby,” you hold her head in your hands. “I need you to be strong for me.”
She stares at you with teary eyes. “Okay.”
“Good girl,” you peck her head and hide.
Foxy's footsteps alarm you.
You frantically search for something to throw that can distract him. You slowly sink down, praying your knees don't crack as you do.
You grab the lonely ball pit ball left on the ground and grip it as tightly as you can before standing up, hoping to be able to throw the ball a few feet away, just enough to get Abby out of here.
You throw the ball, knocking into a few games, setting them off.
The fox wanders in that direction and you grab the girl and start running, pushing her in front of you.
“Ru-” You glance back and find the blonde. “Vanessa.”
“Come on.” Abby legs go of you and run towards her brother.
You stop less than two feet away from him, staring at the yellow rabbit. You whimper, remembering what happened.
“What's the matter? You remember what happened,” he chuckles.
“You- you took them.”
“So, what if I did?”
“You took little kids, and you murdered them and you tried to do the same thing to me!”
Vanessa's body falls to the ground.
“Let's not get upset now.”
He chuckles, “I wouldn't want any of us to do something we'll regret.” He smiles at your humorless expression. “It's funny because I don't regret any of it. I do wish that I finished with you. It would have been the perfect ending, don't you think?”
You duck, rolling onto the floor before he could stab you but then he gets a hold of your ankle and pulls you back, closer towards him.
His emotionless eyes lit up somehow and his grip shifted from your ankle to your neck. He drags you over towards one of the machines, prepared to stab you, making an almost complete set (if only he'd have gotten Michael when he had the chance).
You wiggle in his grasp, trying to kick and shove him off you. “Stop squirming, that's why we've had this prolonged… meeting.”
Abby’s picture replaces the previous one.
His eyes widen, grip loosening giving you an opportunity to escape. “What have you done?”
You watch as the animatronics pull away the dying man before running over towards the two Schmidt siblings, helping the other one carry Vanessa out of the building.
You look around the car for anything to keep on the wound while you apply pressure. “Is there anything,” you ask through the screen.
The two shake their heads, “no.”
You sigh and use all your might to rip the bottom of your shirt. You let out a breath once you get some fabric and quickly start applying pressure, using the fabric as dressing. “What are we going to tell people?”
“Mugging gone wrong.”
“Seriously?” You glance through the screen and catch his gaze in the rearview mirror.
“Who would believe us if we told the truth?”
“Okay, well I’m sorry for asking.”
“Can you guys not fight right now?”
You avoid his gaze. “We’re not fighting, we’re strongly disagreeing with each other.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?”
“No.”
-
“We’re here.”
“Okay, I’m going to need help getting her out.”
He nods, you notice the way he inches out of the car and know this is too much for him.
You mouth to Abby to open the door, you pull the unconscious woman out by her feet, before grabbing her arm.
A nurse behind you tells you to move.
You look around and find Abby hugging Mike’s side as they stand a few feet away from the ER entrance. “Okay. Uh,” you point to the siblings. “My fiancé has bad injuries, no stab wounds but he scratched really bad, it’s deep and I’m afraid he might need stitches,” you explain, trying not to break down right then and there.
The nurse nods, “got it. Bring him in and fill out some paperwork and we’ll check on him.”
“Okay.” You watch as they take her away, hoping you guys got her to the hospital in time. “Let’s get you inside,” you tell him.
“I’m fine.”
You raise your brows, blinking at him in disbelief. “We both know you are not, you have sustainable injuries to, who knows what extent, you are going in here and getting checked out even if I have to force you.”
He nods, “maybe getting the dressing changed won’t hurt.”
“That’s what I thought.” You wrap an arm around his waist, in case he doesn’t have enough energy to continue.
Once you get him situated, fill out the paperwork and he’s taken back; you and the little girl are left alone.
You kneel in front of her, “are you okay?”
She nods. “Abbs, I need you to tell me if you have any injuries.”
She shakes her head, trying to stay strong.
You hold your hand out for her to take and switch seats, somewhere more comfortable for the two of you. “Lay down.”
She does as you told her and rests her head on your thigh.
You place your hand on her arm, thumb brushing back and forth in a comforting manner.
“Are you and Mike together yet?”
You chuckle, glancing down at her. “Depends on if your brother will ask me out.”
“If he doesn’t, you should. He takes forever.”
“Well, aren’t you kind.” You sigh, the pain from tonight’s adventure hits you. “Close your eyes and try to sleep when the doctor tells us we can see him, I’ll wake you up.”
“You promise?”
“You’re not getting out of my sight for a while, sweetie.”
She smiles and closes her eyes.
You rest your head on your hand, watching the terrible soap opera playing on the tv in the upper corner of the room.
He walks out, searching for you two and his heart beats faster. He shakes his head seeing that you were ready to shift Abby to check on him. “I’m not staying here.”
You sigh his name.
“I know, I know.”
“Do you want to go now?”
He nods.
“I don’t think we can take the cop car now.”
He chuckles and winces.
You offer a weak smile as an apology. “Sorry?”
“I can carry her.”
“No. I got it. You’re the wounded hero here.”
“What about your aunt?”
“What do you mean?”
“You really think that she let Abby leave on her own? What if- what if she’s…”
He catches on to what you’re implying. “Maybe we should stay at yours.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, it’s closer and I know you have some things for us to use.”
“Okay.” You lift the little girl into your arms. “Let’s go.”
-
You make it back to your place and Abby rubs her eyes. "Where are we?"
"We're at my place."
"Abby, you should take a shower before going to bed," her brother says.
"Okay."
"She didn’t argue with me."
"She almost lost you." You pat his should and move around your place, cleaning up a little more.
He watches for a second before placing a hand on your shoulder. "Hey." He tells you to stop and sit down.
"I- I can't. I need to- I need-"
He gets you to sit down on the couch before you could collapse where you stood. He sits down beside you and holds your hand, which are resting on your knees. "What happened back there?"
"He killed my friends."
"You knew them?"
You nod, wiping your cheeks to get them dry but fail as more tears fall. "After they closed Freddy's, my parent's let me stay with a few other kids after school to do homework or do kid things, you know." "Yeah."
"But then, one day we were all at the park and we were playing hide and seek. I heard something and I knew it wasn't safe, my mind was telling me to get out there and I did but the next day one of the kids we were with was taken instead. They never found him."
"Do you think it was one of them?"
You shrug, "I don't know."
"Did anything else happen?"
You shake your head, letting the tears freely trickle down your face. "Hang on." You reach over to the coffee table and grab the non-labeled book, handing it to him. "My therapist said I should write down anything and I wrote what happened. I didn't want to forget it… not that I could."
He lifts your journal, "you want me to read it?"
You nod.
"Are you sure? I mean, I feel like I'm going to be invading your privacy."
"I," you take a deep breath. "Honestly, I don't know if I should be sharing this with you but if there's anyone that I want to know about what happened, it's you."
"And you're sure you're okay with this?"
"As okay as anyone can be."
He doesn't know how to respond to that.
You tell him to get his sister and clean up for dinner.
The two turn the corner and are amazed.
"It's so much spaghetti," she squeals.
"I figured we could have a happy meal tonight. This morning. What time is it?"
They shrug and sit down, ready to dig in as their stomachs growl.
The corners of your lips twitch.
"Careful now," you grab the girl's hands, pulling them back before she could slide her arm back and have the knife fall in her lap. "How about I get your plate ready?"
"Hurry up."
You laugh and scoff at her behavior. "Watch it, little girl."
She giggles.
Once you're done, she grabs your plates and sets them in the sink before walking away.
"Woah! Woah! Where are you going?"
"I'm leaving you two alone. Kids aren't allowed on dates." She closes the door to your bedroom.
Your jaw drops. "Where did she get that idea?" You ask him.
“I- I don’t know.”
“Is she right though?”
“What do you mean?”
“Is this a date? I mean, are we dating now?”
He's not sure if saying that you guys are is the right idea or not because he doesn't know what you're thinking regarding the subject of dating him.
“If it changes anything, I'd go out with you.”
He perks up, leaning forward. “Even with everything that's happened.”
You wonder if he's referring to the incident at the mall or Freddy's. You nod, nonetheless. “Yeah, you idiot.” You bite the inside of your cheek, unsure of what's going to happen here.
“I don't think that's what girlfriends are supposed to call their boyfriends.”
“Who said you were my boyfriend?”
“I did.”
“It took your sister to help you to find the balls to ask me out, who might I add, said I should ask you out if you didn’t.” You rest your head on your knuckles. “So my question for you is,” the corner of your lips twitch as you fight the urge to smile wide, “when did you ask me to be your girlfriend?”
He stutters, resisting the urge to give you an embarrassing smile because you're right, he never did officially ask. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“I don’t know.” You shrug and push yourself out of the chair. “I think I might have to think about it.” You’re pulled back, staring into his eyes.
“I think I already know the answer, you just don’t want to admit it.”
You let out a faux sigh, “you got me.”
He’s quiet and the only thing you know is that he’s got a million thoughts running through his head, but you don’t know what. “You know I’m not asking you out just because we almost died and I want something normal for me and Abby, right?”
“I wasn’t.”
His shoulders aren’t as tense, and you can see the stress escape him.
“Now, I am.”
He cups your cheeks, keeping your gaze on him. “I would never do anything unless I wanted to, right? You know that.”
You nod, “I know but… maybe it is too soon.”
“No,” he shakes his head, disagreeing with you.
“I have been in love with you since you kicked the dodgeball in my face during recess. It just- it took me so long to realize because of the guilt I carried for Garrett.”
“That was the second time we met?”
“And the reason we became friends.”
You wrap your arms around his shoulders, bringing him closer to hug him. “Who knew you were so sappy?”
“Hopefully you.”
You roll your eyes, pushing yourself back. “Yeah, yeah. My boyfriend’s an adorable idiot.”
He chuckles, “so I am your boyfriend?”
“Don’t ruin it.” You two crash on the couch while Abby takes over your bed, until she has a nightmare and comes to grab you two which is how you wound up in bed with your boyfriend of two hours and his kid sister.
-
The next couple of days were hectic, but you guys managed.
“You were right,” he said, closing the door behind him.
“When will you stop doubting me?”
“I never said I doubted you.”
You purse your lips. “I’m pretty sure, you said, “I don’t think she’s going to want spaghetti for the fourth night in a row” and look at where we are, pretty boy.”
“Pretty boy?”
“Yeah,” you lower your voice as if you’re talking to an adorable pet, “cause’ you’re so pretty.”
She looks up from her plate, “can we go visit my friends?”
His head lowers in disbelief before turning towards you, who avoids his gaze while eating a meatball.
You followed your boyfriend into his room, rubbing your eyes more than ready to sleep.
Tonight, it takes you less than twenty minutes to fall asleep, thankfully.
You blink finding yourself back in the arcade section of Freddy’s, following the echo coming from the dark hallway. You swear you hear a voice, quite literally calling out for someone to find it.
You open the door slowly, peeking in to see who it is and freeze.
“You found me.”
A lonely tear trickles down your cheek.
Who said life wasn’t about surprises?

I watched the fnaf film today (Britain moment) and omg I loved it.
Spoiler free review:
The plot is not revolutionary, it’s what you’d expect. Fun rather than scary. Definitely a film for fans (and one they will love, I have never heard a cinema react more than with this film nor have I had such a blast watching one).
Now for spoilers. I just need to collect my thoughts somewhere so this may be a complete mess but I don’t care, I’m just so happy.
Characters:
Mike and Abbey: They had a good dynamic. I was a bit concerned with how annoying Abbey was at the start but she ended up really adorable. The initial bratty behaviour really helps build our relationship with Mike. I also like how she just acts like a kid, she gets excited when she sees cool animatronic animals and reacts as you would expect when she thinks her aunt is gonna take her away. I really liked her which surprised me honestly.
Congratulations to Mike Schmidt for having common sense and communication skills. This man actually accepts what’s going on and rolls with it and this is definitely to the films benefit seeing as we know what’s up with the animatronics. Also, instead of going ‘oh no my sister is drawing stuff I see in my dreams guess I’ll look concerned about it’ he actually sits her down and talks it out which I really appreciated. I genuinely felt awful for Mike, the guy clearly has it rough and still is struggling due to his brothers murder. The scene where he sees what he could have had was genuinely touching and made me really feel for the guy. I think he was a solid protagonist.
Vanessa was cool, a fun character but not explored too extensively. She’s Williams daughter and knows exactly what’s going on at Freddy’s (possessions, bodies in suits and all) and has kept quiet due to William’s abuse. This is stated right at the end of the film and her having some history with Freddy’s is hinted at throughout. My non-fnaf friends missed that William’s abuse is why she never did anything because it was only stated in like at a push two lines and never shown in a flashback. This was a bit of a shame as it would’ve characterised her and William more and added to the sympathy we felt for her because she is still hiding that 5 kids bodies are in the animatronics while on the police force. Other than that I loved her childlike excitement when with Abbey and building the fort but also that she clearly had some deeper trauma related to Freddy’s.
William Afton: That Spring Bonnie entrance HOLY SHIT. The Silver Eyes! Genuinely the best shot in the film, it was creepy and so cool from a fan perspective, the cinema was hyped. From the get go when he’s in Steve Raglan mode and is describing Freddy’s, Matthew Lillard is nailing it. You immediately get that this is a sick man who is getting so much glee out of describing this place and knowing he’s getting another victim out of this whole thing. When he appears again at the end and taunts Vanessa it is again amazing characterisation, really sells that this guy is just an awful abusive plank. The way he shouts and kicks Mike, while a tad goofy because animal costume, was another great character moment, the sick joy he’s clearly getting from torturing Mike is evident from the line delivery. We also get a glimpse of why he does it, degrading the animatronics as they surround him and taunting them that he made them like that to hold on to the feeling of power he gets from his murders. Like I said before, I would’ve liked some content of him and Vanessa when she was younger to flesh that dynamic out more, but overall I loved the portrayal. It is all that I thought William Afton would be, a cruel egomaniac with no remorse and a God complex. The moments we got of him were highlights.
Golden Freddy/vengeful spirit kid: Another great character lifted from the games. From what we know of Cassidy, boy does he live up to vengeful. Very cold and downright manipulative towards Mike in the nightmare scenes where they interact directly. The bit at the end where he stands staring a William dying in the suit was just fantastic and a great nod to UCN.
The aunt: She does her job, you hate her and makes you root for Mike but beyond that nothing noteworthy.
Moments in the film:
Cold Open: It was very exciting. Great to see the animatronics in action. The acknowledgement of the 2nd and 3rd games vent mechanics where also cool. Probably the most downright scary it gets.
Opening credits: An amazingly animated scene which explained the backstory and paid homage to the 8-bit mini games of the series. We also got our purple guy actually purpling. It was very cool to finally see the actual luring in some form in official media. A lovely mini tribute to a core aspect of the games.
The Foxy runs: Yes they did it 3 times. Lazy? Maybe. But did it have me giggling like a schoolgirl each time? Absolutely. The humming ripped from the game made me smile like a child on Christmas the first time I heard it. The second run was fantastically shot. Seeing him at the end of the hall and cutting to a close up shot/jumpscare was great, up there with one of the best moments for me personally.
The break in: WAS THAT THE BITE OF ‘87?!? Freddy bit that woman fully in half and it was incredible, probably the scariest the film gets. There is only so scary you can really make the animatronics outside of the game setting so it wasn’t especially scary outside the previously mentioned bite. I was just smiling the whole time while these people were getting murdered because I have waited for 7 years to see this stuff happen on the big screen. Is the cupcake (which is used multiple times) goofy? Yes. But boy does it do some damage (that poor man’s face) and is a fun Nightmare Chica bedroom jumpscare nod.
Seeing the endo’s: Just wow, it looked so good.
They build a fort: The animatronics just join forces with the main character about half way though and build a fucking den in the middle of the Pizzeria. It was very funny and plain good fun. Bonnie fell over which was very dumb but in the charming way. It’s nice to see the film acknowledge that these are children haunting the suits, of course they’re gonna want to do dumb kiddish stuff like this given the chance. Not what I was expecting at all but Freddy Fazbear held a chair so my life is now somehow complete.
The weird ghost attack: Jeez Mike goes through it from those ghost kids. I’m glad they did it that rather than having him get beaten up by robot suits. But boy does he get it rough, properly gets beaten up.
Golden Freddy in Mike’s house: Pretty cool. Again vengeful spirit does a lot of the lifting on the scary part but God is Golden Freddy’s design cool. Genuinely one of my favourite renditions of the character design wise. It’s unfortunate we never got to see him slumped over.
The explanation to why the ghost are attacking: This wasn’t explained great. Basically, William is somehow manipulating the kids since they don’t remember anything however we only I get an ‘I don’t know how he does it but he does’ from Vanessa which isn’t very satisfying. That said I’m not sure how else the film could’ve explained it. The whole ‘show them what really happened’ hardly made any sense apart from the ‘kids learn through pictures’ stuff given at the beginning.
Saving Abbey: Not scary, but the animatronics are cool and the Freddy snapping over in Mike’s direction was awesome. However, overall the final act wasn’t the strongest aside from the few minutes William showed up.
The Springlocks: It. Happened. Was it overly gory? No. No screaming in agony either. But it was so cool to see it happen. I know others will probably be disappointed with it but I honestly felt it was completed by the later scene where William is still dying in the suit and reaching out for Cassidy to help him. Basically it wasn’t as extreme as what everyone hoped for (basically that amazing fan audio that I don’t know where comes from) but it was still great to see. I also liked how the animatronics dragged him off while he writhed, though the writhing was subtle due to how bulky the suit was.
‘I always come back’: This got cheers and was good to hear. My initial reaction was that it felt forced because he says it as he puts the suit head back on as he dies but my non-FNaF friend had a different perspective which made me kind of like it. He thought it was him saying ‘I’ve always been come back and have been using you to hurt others and you didn’t realise,’ as a final taunt in line with his previous ones. It made me think about it more and I think I get the intention now. I think he was declaring that the ‘yellow rabbit’ that killed them will reappear to hurt them again because even if they kill him, he knows he will come back because he will possess the suit like the children have. In putting the suit on he’s just making sure he can haunt and hurt them longer. So yeah, with some deeper thought, I quite like this moment, it makes the agony of he’s in in the following scene with Cassidy more karmic, he might still be able to come back now but GOD is he suffering for it.
The credits: WE WON. They played The Living Tombstone! First two notes and the cinema erupted, I’ve never heard anything like it when watching a film, not even with Avengers: Endgame way back when, you could tell everyone was elated. The waves of nostalgia! I was smiling and dancing in my chair and my non-FNaF friends will probably never let me live it down. I cannot describe how good it felt to hear that song, felt like my childhood was completed.
References:
These are the ones I noticed on a first viewing-
Right off the bat the book with ‘Dream Theory’ plastered on the front made me chuckle and immediately made me know that I was gonna have a blast watching this.
Chica’s Magic Rainbow as a ice cream shop(?) logo was a fun little nod to fnaf world that I’m glad was put in.
The ‘It’s Me’ in the mirror.
The Foxy kid screamed and had black inky tears out of his eyes which is a double whammy reference for the ghost children designs in games and also remnant (a concept which goes unmentioned).
Rouge blurry Bonnie plush in a shot was fun.
Fnaf 1 poster in the office.
The infamous box in parts and service.
Bad Chica Halloween costume mask.
Abbey hiding in the Ballpit being an ‘Into the Pit’ book reference.
Balloon boy of all characters unironically having the most startling jumpscares in the entire film.
The Springlock suit that they tried putting Abbey in was Baby, her design from the books, more precisely the design off of the 3rd ‘Fazbear Frights’ book which made me slightly giddy. It looked REALLY cool as a suit regardless of if it was a reference.
The ‘Save Them’ at the end of the credits: Holy hell my jaw hit the floor, such a fun treat for staying right the way through them.
Cameos:
CoryxKenshin: We already knew about the first one but he appears mid credits and gets Balloon Boy-ed which was very funny.
MatPat: The cinema went mad, properly shouting with excitement. Apparently he had a ‘that’s just a theory’ reference in the line he said but everyone was cheering too loud so I couldn’t hear it. It made me very happy he was there considering he’d played it like he wasn’t asked.
The fnaf YouTubers on the wall: Don’t think you got a good look at it so you wouldn’t know if you hadn’t already heard it was a thing.
To conclude:
Overall it was a film I really enjoyed, just a blast to watch that, while flawed in places, made me smile, laugh and excited point like an idiot at the screen. Films are allowed to be dumb fun and this is one of them, especially for a fnaf fan. I love this film and I don’t care what anyone says because it is 2 hours of my childhood.
