So I went on a YouTube binge yesterday watching people talk about classic literature and I remembered Hamlet which I read for school like 5 or 6 years ago and I kinda didn’t get it but the internet (especially tumblr) seem to go buckwild for Hamlet and I’d like to understand

So please explain tumblr, why do people love Hamlet? (either the play or character is fine)

The doorbell rang. I dragged myself out of my room and towards the front door of mine and Sally's apartment.

“Anakin,” I said, my eyes drooping due to my tiredness. I'd always thought Anakin was gorgeous, but I wasn't friendly enough with him before. We'd gotten slightly closer recently, due to our physics class, but I knew he only thought of me as a friend.

“Oh, hi, Y/N.” His voice faltered a moment when he realised I was wearing an oversized shirt and the smallest shorts ever. “Are you alright?”

“What did you want?”

“Ashoka wanted some flour. She’s baking some muffins for a sleepover she's going to tonight.”

“Did she want plain or self-raising?”

“Uh…” I gave him a frown and rolled my eyes. He smiled slightly at that. “Plain I think.”

“Okay. Does she mind if it’s thirty percent whole grain?”

“Probably not. I mean, Ashoka will know what you’re saying, she's the one in your Food class.” At Coruscant University, we could take as many classes as we wanted. many people stuck to one or two classes but the ultimate nerds, like Anakin, took three and more. He was taking physics, maths, and engineering, whereas i was taking physics and food science, Ashoka sharing the latter with me and sharing engineering with Anakin.

I smiled at his words. “Come in while I get it.” He closed the door behind him and stood in the living room. Our apartment was open plan, but our bedrooms had doors on, of course.

“Sally?" I shouted to my roommate, hearing a quiet reply through her bedroom door. "Anakin wants the flour, so I'll give him the whole grain packet.”

“Tell him to bring it back before six, I need it for something.” Sally was also in my Food class, which was part of the reason why we were roommates.

"Okay," i replied.

"She wants the flour back by six, right?" Anakin asked as I walked over, his eyes flicking to my bare legs.

"Yeah. Tell Ashoka that I have normal plain flour if she wants it, this was just the one that was already open.”

He took the flour from my hands, fingertips brushing over each others. He nodded, “I’ll make sure to tell her. Uh… do you want to come over and watch a movie later? You can pick. it's just in return for helping me with class work and lending us this.”

wow. i had helped him with physics, but i hadn't expected anything in return. i did need a break, though. “Sure. 8?”

“Yep,” he said, grinning. “See you later.” He then opened the door and went back to his apartment.

“Sally, I’m off to Anakin's for a bit,” I shouted into the kitchen.

“Okay, but don’t get lost,” she joked. I rolled my eyes. Our apartment building had an East Side and a West Side. I lived in the East Side and he lived in the West Side, but it wasn't too far.

the walk was quick and the door to Anakin’s had opened even before I’d knocked. He stood there, smiling again, looking at my new outfit - jeans and an oversized t-shirt. “You ready?”

“Yep.” He closed the door and said to Ashoka who was across the room on a sofa, “Y/N and I are going to watch Ocean's Eleven since she’s never watched it before. Don’t interrupt, please.”

Ashoka just raised her eyebrows and looked at me, mouthing, ‘honestly’, whilst i kicked my converse off my feet.

He basically dragged me to his room, whilst I asked, “I thought I was picking?”

“You are. I just said that so Ashoka wouldn’t interrupt us. You know how I get over movies.”

He grabbed the remote for his TV and sat down on his bed. “Come here, I don’t bite.”

“You’re not even funny,” I said, giggling at him and sitting down next to him. Our thighs and our elbows touched but he didn’t move, and neither did I. For some really strange reason, heat rose to my cheeks.

He cleared his throat. “So, Disney Plus or Netflix?”

“Disney Plus. They have the Marvel films.”

“Ugh, not Marvel again.”

“I thought you liked it?”

“I’m only messing with you, you know I like it.”

We decided on Black Widow. One of my favourites but Anakin wasn't sure on it.

“Black Widow isn’t as good as the Winter Soldier though,” Anakin said, and I immediatly shushed him.

“Stop talking! And no, Black Widow beats everyone. She’s hot, she’s awesome, what more could you want?”

He rolled his eyes. After a few minutes, my eyelids were drooping, so he pulled me closer with his arm around my shoulder. I didn't say anything, for fear of him moving away from me.

Even though the movie was quite loud, I still managed to fall asleep, against Anakin's side. My head tucked into his chest, his arm around me pulling his duvet around us. Then it was 3:00 am and I woke up, squinting at his alarm clock

“Shoot!” I said looking at the time, Anakin's arm tight around me and his hair ticking my neck.

“Huh? What? What’s going on?” Anakin said looking at me in the darkness.

“I have to get home, it’s 3:00 am.” But Anakin pulled me back down, snuggling his head into my neck.

“I texted Sally through Ashoka,” he said, sounding muffled. “She said it’s fine if you stay over. She trusts me with you."

I smiled from how close we were, and I quietly said, "And I trust you". It was true, he was the only boy I trusted in the entire University. I then wrapped my arms around his torso, falling asleep to the steady rise and fall of his chest against mine.

When I woke up around 9 am this time, I realised Anakin's arm had slipped down to my backside and he was nestling his head into my shoulder again. My arms were around his neck, and I had my legs tangled in his whilst his big hand caressed my back.

Oh God, I have to get home. What do I do?

I gently tried to prise his arms from me and wiggle my legs out, but it only made him grip onto

me more tightly.

“Anakin,” I quietly murmured. “I have to go, you have to move your arms.”

He mumbled something against my neck, hair tickling my chin. Sunlight streamed into his room through a tiny gap in his curtains, and it shone in him from the back, making him look like an angel.

“I can’t hear you, Ani, you’ll have to speak up.”

He groaned, throwing his head back, eyes now wide open. “Call me that again, please.”

“What did you say, Ani?” He stared straight at me with his gorgeous ocean eyes.

“You don’t have to go. You could stay here, with me.” His hand that was on my backside slowly moved upwards to rest on my waist, his thumb brushing under the hem of my shirt. “Am I making you uncomfortable?”

“No,” I breathed, focusing on only him. He then flipped us over, so he was on top of me and pinning my arms down. He leaned down, brushing his lips against my cheeks.

“How about now?” I shook my head, biting my lip as he pressed a single kiss to my jaw.

“I need words, baby,” he said, making me groan from the pet name. It sounded so sweet, so saccharine coming from his plump and rosy lips.

“No, Ani,” I sighed. He smiled at me saying his nickname. Whilst he was flustered, I flipped us over again, straddling his waist. Hands on his shoulders, I said, “Am I making you uncomfortable now?”

He smirked, grabbing my waist and pulling me so I was flush against him.

“You’re making me the opposite of uncomfortable, baby.” Then he cupped my cheek and pulled me in. His plump lips moved slowly against mine, stunning me with how soft they were. Whilst I was stunned, he pushed his tongue into my mouth.

He rolled us over again, kissing my mouth, my neck, my jaw, my cheek, my everything. His hands went under my shirt, grabbing at my waist, at the edge of my bra.

“Ani,” I murmured, pushing his hands away even though i so badly wanted to commit. “I have to go.”

“Can’t you stay 5 more minutes?” He said against my skin, making small bite marks on my collarbone.

“No, Ani, Sally will be wondering where I am,” I said, grabbing the sides of his head and forcing him to look at me. I sighed, saying, “You’re gorgeous, you know that, right? I known that since that first physics class."

That's true, too. the first time i saw him, i knew i would have a hard time forgetting him.

Just from those words, I could see his lightly tanned skin turning a slight red colour. “And the blushing makes you look even more like a greek god.” I pressed a quick kiss to his nose and got out of his bed. “See you later, baby.” I winked at him and his face went even more red.

Outside of his apartment, i leant against the wall. what the hell just happened? i let my face go bright red as i replayed the previous moments. this boy had me down bad.

Anakin was to play in a soccer match that afternoon as he played soccer extracurricular, and as you had taken your seats near his team’s dugout, he walked over with a copy of his shirt in his hand.

“Hey, Y/N, do you want this?” He said, handing the shirt to me. He’d always been kind to me, but this is the first time he’d done this for me. He was being so sweet it was hard to believe.

“Oh, really? Thank you, Ani,” I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck and breathing his scent in.

They ended up winning, and as Anakin scored the winning goal, he looked in my direction, smiling the brightest smile.

There was a small party to be held at the local bar, celebrating his team's win at soccer. I put on a black, mid-thigh length dress, and some simple makeup, including red lipstick.

“Y/N, are you ready to go?” Sally shouted from outside my room.

“Yes, I’m coming.” I quickly grabbed my purse.

The walk to the bar was quick, but all I could think about was Anakin. And as soon as we had opened the door, Anakin was stood at the bar, drink in his hand, eyeing up the newcomers. His eyes landed on me and a sleazy look crossed his face as he checked me out, his eyes scanning my body.

He was dressed in a white shirt, black trousers, and a black tie, but the way his tie was slung so effortlessly around his neck, and the way his shirt was half untucked made me lewdly gaze at him too, my red lips parted.

Sally guided me to where our friends were sat at a table. All I could sense was Anakin's eyes on me, watching my every move. Then, halfway through the party, when I was getting more drinks at the bar, he strolled over, standing close to me, hand on the small of my back.

“Nice dress,” he mused. “Nice makeup,” he said, a smirk formed on his face.

"Thanks," I hummed. "Could say the same about you."

He let out a small laugh at that, saying, "You're so funny, Y/N. You should become a comedian."

I smiled a little, and turned to the bar, catching the attention of the barman. "What can I get for you?"

"Uh, two cocktails, and a pint of larger, please." The barman nodded and turned around to collect a glass.

"You played great today, did I mention? Your last goal was amazing."

"Really? Well, it must be you because I dedicated that goal to you," he said, suddenly looking shy.

"Aw, you're so sweet. Do you mind if I keep your shirt? It smells like you and I want something to remind me of you..."

"Yeah, sure. Anything for you, baby," he said, whispering the last part in my ear, hand on my exposed thigh.

I went bright red at him using the nickname in public, I didn't think he was so brave. Then the barman asked, "Card or cash?"

"Cash, please," and I was just about to pull my car out of my purse when Anakin jumped in, handing the man a few notes.

"Ani! I was going to pay, you didn't have to!"

"As I said before, anything for you." He then grabbed a cocktail and took it over to the table, whilst I grabbed the other two drinks and followed him. I only put the larger down on the table, holding the cocktail meant for me and said to Anakin, "Come sit with me over here." I gestured to the corner of the bar where it was less crowded and there was a spare table for two.

He followed me, sitting down opposite me. As we both sipped our drinks, all I could feel was Anakin's eyes on me again, watching me lift the glass and wipe lipstick from the rim.

"Can I help you?" I finally said, smiling at him.

He took a moment to answer, still staring at me. "You just look really gorgeous tonight. I don't know what you've done differently, but it works for you."

"Are you saying I don't normally look nice? Wow, what a guy." I slightly rubbed my high-heeled foot against his legs, watching his expression change as he registered what I was doing to him and what I'd just said to him.

He began laughing, trying to rescue himself from the hole he made. "I didn't mean that, you always look beautiful it's just tonight you look even more special. Do you know what? Just take the compliment, okay, you know I don't normally say much." That last bit was true for everyone else, but to me, he was always saying things to me, even if it was to say that my shirt was nice.

"It's a joke calm down. I'm going to take a breather round the back, it's really warm in here. I'll be back in a minute."

He seemed disappointed with my words, but let me go. The cold air was refreshing as I stepped out from the back of the bar, crossing my arms around my chest. Then I heard some footsteps, assuming that they would disappear into the bathroom, but they carried on in my direction and they got closer to where I was stood. Then the one and only Anakin appeared through the door frame, a strange expression on his face.

"Hey, I said I'd be bac-" Then he cupped my face and grabbed my waist, pushing me up against the wall as he connected our lips. I moaned, feeling his hands all over my body. I grabbed his tie and pulled him even closer as his hand slithered under my short skirt, thumbs brushing the edge of my panties.

“Ani, we can’t do it here, let’s go back home.” But his hand travelled upwards, touching me everywhere.

His head leant down to make marks on my neck and my fingers tugging at the back of his hair, eliciting a grunt out of him.

“You’re right," he said between bites. "Let’s go home.” He quickly fixed his tie and grabbed my hand, dragging me through the pub.

“Hey, Sally, I’m going to take Y/N home, she thinks she has a temperature.”

“Oh, okay, we’ll be home in a few hours, so don’t wait around for us. Have a safe walk,” Sally said, glancing at me every other second.

“What was she looking at? She kept glancing at me like my makeup looked awful,” I said as we exited the bar again, walking the short distance to our apartment building.

“Probably cause it is. Your lipstick is smudged.” Then I noticed that he was also wearing my lipstick, his mouth tinged a slight red.

“And you’re wearing my lipstick.”

He rolled his eyes, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards him. I bumped into his chest as he pressed a few kisses to my jaw.

“Quick, let’s get home.”

He fumbled with his keys, dropping them on the floor infront of his apartment front door. But instead of picking them up, he turned to me and kissed me long and hard, his hair brushing my forehead.

“Ani, just let me unlock the door!” I said, pushing him back so his back hit the wall. A smirk wiped onto his face, watching me bend over. His hands went to my hips as I stood up, bringing me flush against him. Small kisses and bites were peppered onto my neck from behind, as he moved my hair to get better access. His arms wrapped around my middle.

I waddled forward, still in his grip, trying to unlock the door. “Anakin! Just let me open the door and then you can continue!” But he didn’t stop, his grip becoming tighter.

I managed to open the door, Anakin immediately slamming it shut and pushing me up against it, this time switching between my lips and the available amount of chest I had on display. I threaded my fingers through his hair, tugging at the hair at the base of his skull, making him groan against my skin and making me throw my head back against the door.

“Quick - let’s - go to - my - room,” he said, inbetween kissing my neck.

He began moving backwards, his hands hooked under my thighs and picked me up, his surprisingly strong arms holding me as if I weighed nothing.

Then he turned around, still kissing me, and walked towards his room.

He shut his bedroom door behind me, shoving me against the door and his hands once again sliding up my dress.

Then he stood back, licking his lips and eyeing me up and watching me as I sat in his bed and took my heels off.

“You know, you look even more gorgeous with your makeup all smudged. It makes me proud, knowing I did that.” He said, slowly loosening his tie and taking it from around his neck. “You look like a princess, sat there. I'll make you feel like a queen if you’ll let me, baby.”

I nodded, biting my lip and slipping the straps of my dress down my arms, watching how his eyes hungrily tracked my every move.

I stood up, motioning to the back of my dress. “Help me, will you?” His mouth twitched into a smile and he moved to help.

His knuckles were gentle against my skin, grazing me ever so slightly and sending a hurricane of butterflies into my stomach.

“Are you ready?” He asked, ever so innocently.

“Yes. With you, Anakin, I’m ready every time.”

Then after he unzipped my dress, he slid out of his own clothes, and laid me carefully down on the bed.

“Gonna make you feel amazing."

I don't really see Joe as looking or having the body of a finance guy tbh why, because he has a more serious look to me? Like he might not be a poet in the sense of the word, but I feel like that's playing the stereotype of guys in finance being big boring nerds. And I don't think Joe is like that. His job is not even close to a more science/math field, it actually plays with creativity. So if we were to put on a scale to me he's closer to being a poet than a finance guy.

I kinda always saw that line in like a Troy Bolton way (regardless if it's about Joe or not). As in he played basketball and then one day he discovered a secret talent for singing he didn't know it was there. And singing was like very different and outside of the stereotype for an athlete. So to me, that was what she was going for. A finance guy that we actually don't see as someone creative, suddenly spewing poetry like he had that poet thing inside of him all along. And that was what she was asking or hoping, like tell me your secrets and spill them in poetry as if you were a finance guy that has this secret talent inside of him

idk I’m ngl Joe looks exactly like most (attractive and successful) millennial finance guys I know. They all go to the gym (not super religiously but they go), they all dress kinda that way (like nice things™️ but not super duper fashion forward/conscious), they all collect random expensive shit (as he does), most if not all have interests outside of finance (hobbies, things they read about/listen to/watch etc). Describing Joe as a poet in the body of a finance guy makes sense for me as a diss and is just a little dig at the stuff he did write with/for her (which, if we’re being very honest, is not generally the most profound or genius of ideas - again, no shade - cool songs - but I can see her saying “I hate it here” about the Sweet Nothing songwriting session when she could’ve been in studio with Matty who has more ideas and more out there ideas). It’s not a nice thing to say about your ex of many years but lol she hated it there at the end.

SLK or Spider/Kiri/Lo'ak Headcanons

idk what these will be about tbh i’m just writing as i think of stuff lmao

Kiri had a phase where she was convinced she was a witch because everywhere she went an animal would just waddle up to her

Spider, Lo’ak and Jake talk to babies like they’re grown people, like no baby talk and it’s hilarious

Lo’ak was once holding a baby, and you know how you hold them high in the air and they’re above you? Yea they were having a moment and then the little creature threw up all over his shirt and started giggling right after

“Dude seriously? we were having a moment wtf” it took everything in him not to just drop the baby

Lo’ak would copy everything Jake did as a kid, his lil mini me fr

Lo’ak’s first words were either dad or Teyam

Spider and Lo’ak both have severe anger issues and lord knows what would happen if they ever turned on eachother abt that anger

Lo'ak is always reprimanded about the things he does, gets yelled at and gets in trouble in situations where he isn't truly at fault. Authority figures never let him explain himself and always assume he's lying or trying to makes excuses and they expect him to just take it and move on. He does, but all that annoyance and anger at a situation he can't help tends to come back up a lot.

With Spider on the other hand, adults can never seem to shut up with their backhanded comments,

"you're nicer than i thought you'd be considering your dad"

"Oh wow you're so smart I didn't think you'd get it'

"You look just like him" (in a bad way)

"Oh you're good at this, who would've thought"

All this stuff and he can't really say anything because he'd be proving them right. So he stays silent, doesn't argue back and boy does he hate it.

One time Neytiri made a comment on the wrong day at the wrong time and he honestly considered violence before he just silently walked out of the room. He definitely punches and breaks stuff but he tries to restrain himself which adds to the pent up anger

They've both used that anger on their bullies, Spider broke the guys nose and dislocated his shoulder by pulling it up his back and making him promise to never show his face again

Lo'ak just went straight to the punches, broke the dudes nose and left him slack jawed

So if you ever catch them in a slightly off mood and you even try to talk to them or act any sort of way, you're getting sent to the nurse. I'm sorry i don't make these rules

Kiri is the mediator, she doesn't want to be but she sometimes ends up being the most rational because when she's upset, anger isn't her default unlike the other two

Lo'ak collects comic books, Jake started the obsession and he went wild. Have a comic or manga you wanna borrow? Vintage or not it's probably in his room somewhere

Spider is a math genius, the formulas are just free balling in his head and it makes it easy for him.

He's also a literature enthusiast but has a hard time expressing his own ideas on paper, great public speaker though

Lo'ak definitely over analyzes his favorite characters, gets sad and cries silently abt it

Kiri is an all around science nerd, she goes to class just because she enjoys helping out w hands on science stuff, most of the content isn't new for her

Kiri despises chemistry, she understands it but finds it uninteresting. Ofc biology and botany are where it’s at

All language nerds

All great at physical education, i mean like the actually science behind the body, they have all the muscle names memorized etc

Kiri is their little jewel, Lo’ak especially, he tries to make it the least obvious but Spider definitely tells her how much Lo’ak cherishes her

Spider is very open with his affections, he just doesn’t feel the need to hide it, they live that loves that about him

Spider and Neteyam know how to cook a mean meal, put them in a kitchen together and you’re literally drooling at the smell

Spider is a spicy food enthusiast right along with Jake and Neytiri

Kiri has had a cat for 4 years, Jake has only known for 2 years because he used to be terrified of them and Kiri didn’t want him to freak out

He now carries said cat like it’s his mini purse

Moon Signs Pt. 2

Hi guys here’s part 2 of the moon sign series! After I post this, I’m going to be focusing more on answering your questions, I have a lot to answer. Thanks so much for all the support! Without further ado, here’s Libra through Pisces moons! 

🌵Libra Moon: You guys LOVE attention, and you don’t even try to hide it LMAO. One of my good friends is a Libra moon and he literally loves to say outlandish things just to get a reaction from us and to get attention from us if we’re not talking to him enough in a conversation. Libra moons also love relationships and if underdeveloped they may feel incomplete without one. They can also be very dependent on their partner for happiness as well. However, they are romantic and in love with love. They’re also extremely sensitive and are very feminine. Even in men, it gives them a more feminine touch to their personality. They also hold their morals in very high regard. They have their set morals and won’t change them for anything or anyone. They also tend to hate conflict and usually shy away from confrontation. They’re also too nice, WAYYYYYY too nice. You guys need to be more assertive LMAO. They’re also extremely optimistic and if they don’t believe in that particular way they at least try to be optimistic with others. They’re always reminding you the glass is half full. Also, Libra moons are mad clingy. Even with those they’re not dating LMAO. My Libra moon friend whenever I try to leave the FaceTime Call, he’s like “Don’t go... :(”. They just love to be around the ones they love. They’re also in love with beauty, and all things beautiful in the world. They’re lovers of music, art, film, and literature. Libra moons also have a softness in their eyes, I can’t describe it. This girl I used to like has a Libra moon and her eyes were just so soft. They’re also extremely indecisive, they tend to flip flop between who they wanna be and what they wanna do. They also aren’t shy when it comes to compliments, they will compliment TF out of you. They’re the best hype man. They also put others before themselves a lot, and can be very shy upon first meeting them. However once they feel comfortable around you they open up. One last thing, I feel like they tend to like anyone who’s nice to them...don’t attack me. LMAO.  

🌵Scorpio Moon: I feel like Scorpio moons have about ten different playlists relating to their emotions and still won’t open up to anyone about how they feel. Scorpio moons I feel have such intense emotions that they just don’t deal with them and they tend to implode after a while. I relate to them a lot in that respect tbh with my Sun square Moon, because that’s how I am. You guys are also super passionate and super creative. Every Scorpio moon I’ve met has been really creative in some way whether it be makeup, fashion style, or artwork. I’ve also noticed that this is a very alluring placement, there’s this intriguing way about them, and like Aries Moons, they have a fire in their eyes. Their gaze is INTENSE. They’re also very selective with who they let close to them, they don’t let just anybody in. They’re also very good at reading other people and seeing people’s true intentions. They have an extremely good intuition. If underdeveloped this can be used to manipulate other people, as well as being compulsive liars. Scorpio moons are also very protective over the ones they love. If you mess with anyone they care about, they will kill you. End of story. Also I feel like every Scorpio moon I’ve met has been through the wringer, like they’ve really had some hard experiences, it’s so sad to me. Scorpio moons are also extremely stubborn, remember this is a fixed sign. Scorpio moons ain’t playing, once they’ve settled on something, they’re not budging. Also, can we just say, masters at investigating people. These are the friends you want stalking your ex’s social media. They will find out everything. They’re also really good psychologists as well, almost all the Scorpio moons I’ve met are actually Psychology majors LMAO. They’re very good at finding the root causes of people’s issues. I also feel like Scorpio moons undergo a lot of transformations in their lives. I’ve known a Scorpio moon for about 10 years now and he’s undergone so many different transformations in his life. Mentally and physically. They’re also extremely sarcastic and have a tendency to be pessimistic. They’re also mad scary when angry. I’ve seen them angry before, as an Aries moon, even I get a little scared.... love y’all tho. 

🌵Sagittarius Moon: The funniest people ever. Sagittarius moons always have me laughing my ass off. Their sense of humor is very diverse. They tend to stick with sarcasm and like to say outlandish things to make people laugh. Also, I feel like Sagittarius moons tend to go for science/math oriented careers or at least have an interest in those subjects. I know four Sag moons, and they’re all in STEM it’s actually crazy. They’re also extremely blunt and honest, especially when it comes to people they don’t like LMAO. They make it very clear when they don’t like someone, it’s so funny. They’re also just so much fun, like they’re genuinely so much fun to hang out with. I feel like I’ve never not had a good time hanging out with a Sagittarius moon. I feel like Sag moons however tend to struggle with asserting themselves a lot of times, until they get really fed up.  They’re very much go with the flow kinda people, and this can be to their detriment especially with the ones they love, they don’t wanna rock the boat. However, they also make really good mediators and are good at settling arguments. They also really like to travel, and likely have traveled a lot. All the Sagittarius moons I know have traveled to at least 4+ countries. They love traveling the world, and I’ve also noticed move or want to move far away from their childhood home. They wanna explore everything the world has to offer. My cousin who’s a Sag moon left her parents’ house to move a few states away and my other friend who’s a Sag moon wants to move to the other side of the country. These individuals also tend to like foreign culture as well. I’ve noticed Sagittarius moons tend to like foreign music or foreign tv shows. I feel like they also tend to ignore their emotions when they get sad and just don’t like to deal with their emotions. They also don’t like to talk about how they feel and will brush sad things off because it’s just too upsetting for them. However, once the emotions boil over, just like their anger, they will blow up LMAO. I’ve also noticed that they’re really good at teaching people things? Like my Sag moon friend explained this Chemistry equation to me I couldn’t understand and I got it after 10 minutes. Natural teachers. 

🌵 Capricorn Moon: Guys, it’s okay to open up. You don’t have to pretend to be so strong all the time, you’re not weak for showing your emotions. Anyway, Cap moons have high expectations for people, and will not tolerate any bs from people. I seriously commend them for that. I feel like Cap moons struggle with how their points are being expressed, they can say one thing, but it’s seen as something else. While Capricorn moons may struggle with expressing their emotions, I haven’t found them to be closed off or cold when meeting them. Every Capricorn moon I’ve met has warmed up to me very quickly and have been super nice. I feel like they’re very friendly and once they have a conversation with you they’re really warm and kind. Also, they’re not afraid of anything?? Except for showing their feelings maybe. But like, they’re so open to trying new things like scary rollercoasters and aren’t afraid to fight for themselves if they have to. Also, super fucking ambitious. I wish I could be ambitious. These people will really have like three jobs, be in school, and tend to household responsibilities. I don’t know how you guys do it. Now everyone says Capricorn moons are just analytical and systematic when confronted with conflict, and I personally haven’t found that to be true. If they feel wronged?? Nah. They’re not going to be systematic or logical or anything. They will go off. As for personal challenges, yes they’ll be more analytical. But I feel like everyone boils down Cap moons to emotionless and machine-like nerds, which I find to be very untrue. Capricorn moons are very soft once they’re vulnerable with you, and genuinely feel like they’re bothering people when they show their emotions and feel weak for showing them. Also I’ve noticed that their mom is a big motivator for their success. Their moms always push them to do their best in work and school. If poorly aspected, they could feel too pressured by their moms to do well. Also, they’re so underrated for being funny. They have a really dry sense of humor and it’s well developed. I also feel like they get overlooked for putting others before themselves, when it comes to the people they love they’ll do anything for them. Brb gonna go give my Cap moon friends a hug. 

🌵Aquarius Moon: You guys are just so unique. There’s something unique about each and every Aquarius moon, whether it’s a quirk or a hobby. These people are literally the best to talk to. It’s so easy to have a conversation with them, they really can talk about anything. I’ve also noticed that Aquarius moons tend to be interested in astrology and tarot and things of that kind. Every Aquarius moon I’ve met has been really interested in it, and even involved in it. I feel like they also have big dreams, and have big plans for themselves. Aquarius moons also love to get lost in their music and tend to use it as an escape. This can be a problem because they tend to avoid dealing with their feelings. They also go between reacting to things really heavily vs not reacting at all. It just seems like it goes back and forth. They speak up with things are unjust however only to their friends or online. They just don’t like to deal with face to face conflict in that regard. They also give really great advice. My best friend is an Aquarius moon and she always gives me the best advice. She knows me better than I know myself tbh. I feel like Aquarius moons relish in being unique LMAO. I’m 99% sure they had an “I’m not like other girls” phase. I feel like this placement always tends to space out and daydream a lot. They also aren’t the types to just lash out at people, their anger is more subtle (unless they have other placements of course). I feel like Aquarius moons also have a lot of friends but they tend to have a small group of friends that they tend to be super super close with. They’re also...really charming? I don’t know what it is, but like every single one I’ve met has been really charming and likable. They also have a really goofy sense of humor and love to do wild shit to make people laugh. I feel like some downsides of Aquarius moons are that they tend to be too analytical and rationalize things too much, and they inadvertently invalidate other people’s feelings. Aquarius moons are also super open minded to all opinions. I have a friend who I tend to disagree with on certain issues but they’ve always been open to hearing my opinion. They also love to travel too. I’ve noticed that as well. 

🌵Pisces Moon: To think, I was almost one of you guys. No seriously I almost was, if I were born four hours earlier I would’ve been a Pisces moon LMAO. Anyhoo, Pisces moons are just so sweet. I don’t know how else to start, they literally are the sweetest people and give off this mystical type of aura. They’re very otherworldly. Also, these people daydream 24/7. They put Aquarius moons to shame in daydreaming. This girl I like is a Pisces moon and I always catch her daydreaming LMAO. They’re also extremely sensitive too and feel things so deeply. They try to hide how they feel from people, but you can see it in their eyes. I can always tell when my Pisces moon friend is upset just by the look in her eyes. They also tend to be introverted and it takes a while for them to warm up to someone. My co-worker is a Pisces moon and it took 2 weeks for her to finally start talking to me LMAO. They also have really vivid and wild dreams too. I feel like my Pisces moon friend is always telling me about some wild dream they had like that they were in a castle or in an ocean. They also can be really moody, they can be fine one second and then get really sad out of nowhere. Their emotions are like the ocean. I feel like another downside of Pisces Moons are that they can be very manipulative however this is really with any underdeveloped water moon/sun placement. I also feel like they tend to be escapists a lot. They don’t like to deal with reality a lot, and they see the best in everything and everyone even if it’s to their demise. They’re also super friendly and are nice to everyone they meet, even if they’re reserved they’re still very sweet. They’re also extremely creative too, I feel like every Pisces moon I’ve ever met has some sort of creative hobby. My co-worker who’s a Pisces moon is working on becoming a photographer and her stuff is AMAZING. I think that’s because they see the best in the world and the beauty in everything; and they know how to show that in their work so others can see the world like they do. They’re also super empathetic and are really good listeners. You can talk to them about anything and feel understood. :)

So, I thought up a new Bug Fables AU...well, “new” may not be 100% accurate, I know someone else has thought up an idea like this, but still: 

Bug Fables but High School!...I call it Four Kingdoms High I haven’t done many drawings for it, mainly because I feel like there should be new designs for most of the characters but I’m unsure of how they’d look.  Under the Keep Reading is a bunch of roles various characters have, though, along with some info on the setting itself.

Vi is a Freshman and new to the school (though she spent a year in a different High School, she was kicked out and pretty much had to start over).

Kabbu is a Junior at the school and general helpful guy.

Neo is a Junior, and one of the nerdier students, but is known for being a nice and helpful dude.

Mothiva’s a popular girl Junior and also a social media influencer. She’s been held back once or twice.

Zasp is Mothiva’s boyfriend (they’re open about it in this universe) and head of the Football team. He’s also a Junior and has also been held back (due to his focus on Mothiva).

Eetl is a TA, a Senior, and a worried nerd.

Jaune is a Sophomore at the school and tries to help Vi out when she can. She also spent/wasted a year at the old school Vi went to, though it was before Vi went there. Jaune and Vi were both kicked out for starting fights and beating up students that messed with them.

There’s probably more one can think of for other students, but I haven’t thought of it much so instead here’s the staff:

Artis is a secretary.

Maki and Kina are yard duties (Yin goes to the Preschool on the campus).

Elizant II is the English (or Bugnish, I suppose) Teacher.

Bianca is the Preschool Teacher.

Hector IV is the History/Social Studies Teacher.

Muze’s Dad is the Math Teacher.

H.B. is the Science and Computer Teacher.

Leif is the Janitor.

Fry is the cook.

Doppel is the Art Teacher.

Fuff is the Gym Teacher.

Layra II is the Superintendent.

Vanessa II is the Principal.

And Hoaxe is a hobo that breaks into the Principal’s Office sometimes and tries and fails to do stupid things in her place lmao.

Finally, the setting and some deeper info on certain characters:

Leif is still a weirdly aged Mushroom Moth (he worked for a few years back when the old Principal was around, then got experimented on, then woke up in the present day and became Janitor again under the new Principal for a few years now).

Bianca lives in a huge mansion with many of her children. Some of them moved out, but a good number (especially of the younger ones) live here.  Elizant I was the previous Principal, and Elizant II was very briefly her successor. Elizant chose Vanessa II to replace her, though, because she was too stressed.

The sports team of the School is called “The Chompers”, and their mascot is Chompy.

Vi and Jaune’s old school was the Hive from Hollow Knight. Just ‘cuz.

- Alex: His only options are physics or extreme hatred of everything to do with stem and idk how to explain this, but he just has the same energy as my gay physics teacher *and* the guy who taught my history when I was 13 who had essentially renounced science/hj

- Reggie: intense bi maths vibes. Will work out stationary points mentally and then tell you he’s too gay to do basic addition, I don’t make the rules

- Bobby: look I’m a bi-ace chemist and this dude is a bi-ace chemist and I will fight literally anyone on this, specifically he’s good at orgo and hates physical chemistry because it’s too close to physics for his liking

- Luke: had an ocean/marine biology phase, can still tell you how to work out biomass and could produce a food web for the Atlantic Ocean on the spot, but would rather throw himself off a cliff than label the human heart or look at any other science

- Julie: I feel like she *enjoys* biology but also is one of those people that makes really pretty notes and just. Retains no information, which honestly is half the kids in my bio class, so she finds it kind of frustrating

- Carrie (nuclear physics) and Nick (atomic physics) are physics besties that vibe incredibly hard over space and I have nothing else to say, just know I’m correct

- Flynn: a multitalented queen, vibes very hard with physics and chemistry because once they get something they rly get it and that’s useful in most areas of phys and chem, but finds bio to be a little too much about retention over understanding, even if she can ace it if she rly applies herself

- Willie: I could see them in engineering tbh but also I think he wants to understand physics and tries to learn via skating analogies and practical application but that shit does not stick, at least in high school, can definitely see him being reintroduced to stem later in life in a less pressured setting and vibing rly hard

- Ray: stopped taking any stem classes the second they were no longer obligatory (Idk when that is in the US but here it’s yr12/junior year) and has forgotten literally every single thing he ever learned in them, hates helping Julie with her homework but does it anyway bc he’s the best dad

Grace gets badly injured due to a mistake in necromancy and Christopher helps her treat it without letting people know

Lucie meets Jesse, and falls in love ofc, so in order to bring him back successfully she asks Malcolm to train her in using her magic

Matthew opens up to his mom about the incident. She doesn't blame him at all and instead apologizes for often putting her work before him

Matthew finds out about Charles and Alastair because he found Alastairxs break up letter to Charles

Matthew, the mother hen he is, decided to attempt to murder his older brother, only being stopped by James who had been there at the right time

Kamala ends things with Charles and tells Anna that she still loves them and hopes that she will give her another chance

Anna told her that they needed time to think, and that she is worried how Kamala's reputation will be affected if anyone besides their friends and Anna's family finds out

Kamala respects her decision and doesn't contact her until Anna's ready to talk about things

The merry thieves don't ignore Christopher and they actively listen and help him

The merry thieves also aren't terrible to Grace bc they realize she's been isolated alone with Tatiana and 1) she might not understand what's saying/doing is wrong or 2) that sometimes she's trying to push them away so her abilities don't accidentally make them do something

ok yes, so what about: basically TMT don't harass Alastair and accept his apology, and realize they were also being stupid and mean at times at the Academy (especially Math). Matthew doesn't want to accept Alastair's apology, because of The Sin, but his behaviour alerts the rest of TMT and they inquire what's wrong and he tells them about the sin and that's how he later tells his parents (because his friends encourage him) and as you say, she just hugs him and reassures him it's not his fault; so after that Matthew slowly begins to heal and accepts it wasn't Alastair's fault, and also since they've kind of adopted/started including Alastair in things, he can't help but notice he's actually changed and he even starts to grow fond of him

then like you said, Matthew notices Thomas likes Alastair PLEASE HE SO WOULD. I'm not sure about the Sanctuary, if it actually happens (I'll get to why later on), but him and Lucie get really invested in the matchmaking schemes, they include Genie/Kamala because these two are friends with Alastair (both? Or at this point only Kamala?) but they also share some Moments during their scheming/talking about love 👀 (yes I'm a Fairdale shipper, I think it's time to expose myself lol)

Which leads me to (sorry I'm going off order rn) YES YES YES LUCIE AND MATH PLEASE. A FELLOW SHIPPER, HELLO, NICE TO MEET YOU. But since we're actually fixing him then we can give Jesse a personality and I'm totally down for poly Math/Lucie/Jesse

Maybe he gets very emotional over this and later finally tells his friends about Kellington? Maybe they didn't know before, only Anna did? So when they all realize what was happening then they comfort him etc? Or maybe it's just Alastair that learns now, and the others knew before, and they share a bonding moment over that?

I actually think Belial could still be featured? After all, I don't think Tatiana could do much on her own, and since she seeks help from demons, it makes sense to include a Greater Demon as well. But Belial would have to be a stronger villain, written better; I'll think more about this

if that was the case, the serial killer plot could still happen, but be done better. and it would allow for a scenario I talked about with @littlx-songbxrd to happen, where it's Alastair who's falsely accused of murder. It creates a great opportunity to explore some things, because we know Alastair is much more likely to be seriously suspected, considering all the prejudices and bad rep his family has and all that

...what do you say to well-written Jordelia? 👀 Cordelia hasn't been obsessively in love with James since childhood, she only had a crush then. And now that they meet again, she's fond of him but not in love, not straight away. They're both grown up, and different people, but as they spend more and more time together, they fall in love. What if Cordelia gets to flirt with some other boys first? What then. What if she ends up choosing James, instead of going for the only boy she's ever had feelings for and idealized since childhood. What if we even make it friends-to-lovers and have James be a little jealous at some point?! but not in a possessive awful way, just "oh damn oh no"

          whenever i write aito, i s2g my brain shuts off, and whatever bullshit forms as a result is what i write for him alskdjALSKDJALK he makes ZERO sense and yet i have somehow managed to flesh him out as a full fledged character with an actual backstory. 

          some of yall know that aito started off as an oc that was heavily inspired by my high school life since i studied a lot of science subjects back then, so i was really in the loop with this nerd ya feel? after a while though, i became less of a nerd ( /jkjk ) and as such, aito’s muse needed to develop to match my development in a way. because in all honestly i forgot how to do basic math in college so how can you expect me to write about chemistry and physics now that i’m 6 years out of high school 😔

          i also took a lot of asian american studies classes in college and i think that helped me shape more of aito’s backstory and his evolution into a more fleshed out character with their own personal experiences and the like. it’s kind of touchy since it involves some not so fun real life subjects ( re: rac///ism ) , but im honestly really proud of what development i added to aito’s backstory and character because it just adds more dimension to him

          im actually really happy that i’ve managed to bring back aito as a muse despite not being a big sciencey person anymore because he genuinely brings me so much joy, and i get to shitpost because of him. like, i could shitpost even without him but now my shitposts get to be character content and inspiration and that’s pretty rad. ALSO IM SO TOUCHED YALL LOVE HIM i’ve made so many friends through aito and it makes me so happy that yall like him like he’s such a goober but i really hope i brighten people’s day whenever i write him tbh bc he’s just so silly how can u hate him

-more childhood headcanons is that hes good at science, especially earth science but not as great at math. He isnt terrible, definitely not but he cant compete at a competition. ALSO I agree that he wouldnt be super cool and suave, hes starting to be but man hes mostly a little bit of a nerd who carries around a book of rocks. He wasnt exactly popular with people wanting to date him until he grew up 😔 though he loves you alot so too bad you're stuck with a rock nerd your entire life.

As a science lover who is not great at maths, I FEEL that deep within my soul. Personally I headcanon Steven has a bachelor’s in geology (with a minor in business because his dad begged him to), so he probably did a lot of science in college, and did only the easiest math bits to get by lol.

Steven was definitely bullied a bit in school, he was a really big nerd and hadn’t grown into the dreamboat we know and love yet. I think that’s how he met and became friends with Wallace, because they were classmates, and Wallace was also bullied, for being super flamboyant (and queer). They bonded over being outcasts and battling.

And when they grew up, got hot, and became fabulous superstars, it’s safe to say a lot of the people who wronged them were suddenly very interested in being friends with Hoenn’s champions.

Tbh! Before I did the math I was like "ok this is 1860 something and tgs is 1885, so is Henry a child?" And that would have been a neat line to go with too because of all the children in this game (it wouldn't have made since with that the fact that Henry is in Scotland but shush. After putting so much time and effort into the team, you had fallen behind on your studies a little

So after they got into their practice, you got out some literature work to go through in your limited spare time at the camp

You were studying poetry at the moment, and you had spent so much time committing quotes to memory that you hadn’t really looked at the meanings of said quotes as much as you should have

You’re so engrossed in your work that, at first you don’t notice Kuroo coming up behind you and peering over your shoulder a what you were puzzling over

hehe sure thing :3 arturo is much older than canon shep yea! i’m not actually very familiar w ME universe so, idk when exactly but he’s around dr. chakwas’ age. no romancing anyone (but i would Like for him & mordin to be partners) he’s a big nerd!! engineer man!! mostly into math & machines (but is proficient in more than just basic first aid when it comes to health sciences.) major cool uncle vibes. he’s got Some issues (who doesn’t) but he’s lived a long life so like he’s not here to make it anyone else’s problem. he’s mostly just the dad of the crew. paragon, obv, but he’s not a super stickler for rules. doesn’t rlly let himself have nice things tho, his personal space is all work.

hello cat! i've seen you make so many posts about this with like advice and stuff but I really wanted to ask- what was your own personal process of figuring out what you want to major and minor in? did you do any extra curriculars? what subjects were you confused between? i'm at that point where i have to pick a major and I could really use some help 😬 I hope this is not much of a trouble 💟 also, your previous education-related posts are super helpful-thanks a lot ✨

Hi, sweetpea 💞 ah, I can relate this question so well because I changed my majors twice and my minors twice because I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do 😅 it’s kinda ridiculous that society expects a teenager to know what they want to do for the rest of their life tbh.

for my own personal process, I started as a computer science engineering major. It’s the easiest to transfer to a different major from engineering, which is why I chose that major and also because I was a huge robotics nerd and did it all four years in high school and loved it. However, I wasn’t completely sold on being an engineer, so during my freshman year, I overloaded and took the required classes for a business major as well. I had five classes and two labs every quarter during my first year, and I don’t really recommend it unless you know you can push yourself to stay on track. From that one year, I discovered that I didn’t like engineering. The material is awesome, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love learning about technology and artificial intelligence, but the job itself is so isolating. I was basically resigning myself to sitting in a cubicle and debugging code with zero communication for the rest of my life. The stereotypes about engineers being bad at communication and talking are true from what I experienced in that one year. As an extrovert, I couldn’t stand that kind of career lifestyle. I needed human interaction in my job, so I dropped engineering. Engineering also made it difficult to add on any minors since the coursework is already so rigorous and your class schedule is essentially already planned out for you. I wanted to do art, and I wasn’t able to with engineering.

During my second year, I declared myself as a finance and studio art double major and added on an entrepreneurship minor. I really like making money, and I’m good at reading/talking to people, so business really piqued my interest. I chose finance because I wanted to do investment banking. If you get hired by a good company, you can be making 100k straight out of uni. This is where the overloading from freshman year helped because since I overloaded on business classes, I was still right on schedule to graduate on time. Actually, I could have graduated a year early. But then I took this financial accounting class that was a requirement for all business majors. That class literally changed my career plans. I never thought I’d like it, but the professor changed it all. I really, really like that professor and his teaching style, and everything just clicked in that class. It was challenging, but I enjoyed that class so so much because of that professor. Honestly, if I had a sucky professor for that class, I wouldn’t be on the career path that I’m on today. I still keep in touch with him :’) anyway, I started to research that major more and discovered that I could also pair it with an information systems major aka a coding major. tbh I lowkey missed coding so I thought this was the perfect combination for me.

During my third year, I switched to double majoring in accounting and information systems with a minor in studio arts. I did have to overload a couple quarters in order to graduate on time, but it was worth it in my opinion :’) so yeah, that’s how I figured out what I wanted to major and minor in!! It was a long process, but I’m satisfied with the end result 💓

as for extracurriculars in uni, I was a part of the robotics club, art club, and accounting association! I also applied for and was accepted for a year long volunteering fellowship during my junior year where I volunteered for 25 hours a week the entire school year and worked at a nonprofit, helping them with the business side of their organization 💞 I volunteered at a hospital weekly all four years of high school, so that’s how I ruled out working in a medical field because although I did enjoy the volunteer work, the stakes are way too high in that job and the hours are 😬😬

I also did internships! I did a sales and marketing internship during the summer after my freshman year. For my fellowship I mentioned earlier, I worked in business administration and client relations. And in the summer after my junior year, I worked at a big 4 firm in IT accounting / cybersecurity, and they extended a job offer at the end of my internship, which I accepted 💕

I wasn’t really confused in any subjects, but I hated abstract math, organic chemistry, and engineering physics the most 😅 I’m still lowkey salty that I had to take those for engineering and now they’re all useless because I didn’t need them for my business majors 🤧

The King: Eternal Monarch

Here are my thoughts on it:

1. Lee Min Ho looks good in it. I can't remember the last time I watched his work. I'm thinking The Heirs? But there was a point I got tired of seeing him onscreen that I actively avoided his dramas. But I saw his posters for this and WOW. Homeboy looked gorgeous. I am still trying to gauge his character. The only thing I liked about him was all the Math-related dialogues and jokes (because I'm a nerd like that).

2. On the contrary, I love Jeong Tae Eul's character. She is a "no non-sense" aggressive and crass tiny brute and I love it. The first time I've seen her was in Memories of Sword and I was sold to her acting. And no I haven't seen Goblin or Cheese in the Trap. I hope she doesn't deteriorate into a mushy, lovestruck heroine who needs constant affection and saving. I also hope she is NOT really a flat-earther.

3. THE AESTHETICS. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This drama, if anything, is one visual feast. There were a lot of moments I was just in awe of the cinematography. And the colors. Oh my gosh THE COLORS. I have decided to collect all of these shots the first chance I get.

4. The plot. Hmm, actually, I've watched a lot of stuff with alternate/parallel universe timelines and/or plot so the premise isn't new to me. It's Einstein's fault tbh. He loved theorizing hence this piece of science fiction subgenre. I have liked many tv shows/movies with this plot but I am still on the fence with this one.

5. I'm pretty sure Lee Gon will save his younger self. How he was able to do that is part of the mystery (I'm betting on time travel once Lee Gon actually learns more about the Manpasikjeok and harnesses its power). But anyone who still thinks Tae Eul will save him clearly needs to watch more TV. And the body build of that person is definitely not Kim Go Eun. As for the ID, I believe he brought it intentionally because he knew child Gon had to look for Tae Eul in the future.
