He turns you around, his eyes darting from top to bottom as his hands grope wherever they could reach without a word. The silence only heightens the anticipation.

He has his face in the crook of your neck, smooching and licking across your senstive spot, all before forcing you to lean back.

Ever so slowly, smirking to himself when he hears you let out a breathless sigh.

He scoots you up, just enough so your ass wasn't totally hanging off the table, before wrapping one of your legs around his waist. You're already squirming at the feeling of his prominent bulge against you.

when I started shipping it if I did: When I first saw the gun scene 🫣 I saw Mello pointing a gun at Near's head while Near gave him his photo upon which he had written Dear Mello and from there it spiralled :D

my thoughts: It's canon TO ME. Specifically only on Near's side (at least romantically), but I do think that Mello gets bitchslapped with the realization that "Oh shit I actually do care about that little twerp >:0" sometime after he finds out about Near's plan. I love them deeply. The idea of future Near, Detective L and his leather-clad guard dog, the lion and the lamb, together at last, is so sweet to me. Near's happiest when he's playing with Mello, and Mello's at his best when he's playing against Near. They grew up together. They were supposed to be two names under one title. They should've been together forever. They should've run away together. Both of them would never run from a fight. It was always going to end this way but it didn't have to be like this. Dear Mello I Guess I'm Going To Have To Do It INDEED

what makes me happy about them: When they bicker 🥰 They're racing against time to solve a case and solve it before the other one even as Near sits in Mello's lap clinging to his chest while Mello calls his contacts and Rester holds a laptop up for Near behind his head. Mello calling Near a fucking idiot, an arrogant weak little sheep, all while cuddling him close with his mouth against his pulse so he can feel his heart beat 💕 I love the dichotomy of their words and actions and it makes me stupidly giddy lmao

what makes me sad about them: The fact that Mello's dead and Near will never love or feel again :') Because of the circumstances of their childhood Mello would never get close to Near, would never want to work with him, and in stark contrast it was that same childhood that made that all Near ever wanted 🥹

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Uhhh I don't really have one for this? I haven't read enough Meronia to really find something I get truly annoyed at lol. I guess I don't like it when they make Mello too pathetic or too goofy, but that's it ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

things I look for in fanfic: Honestly? Genuinely one-sided attraction from Near. That's my favorite fucking thing ever; Near being ass over tits in love with Mello, fucking obsessed with him, and Mello finding out about it and being subsequently appalled and intrigued in incredibly inequal measure. That's all I've ever wanted out of life 🙏

who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I wouldn't mind Near ending up with Light, Minoru (thanks to Moon), Rester, or even Beyond. I could be convinced of other ships but these are the ones I find most intriguing. Mello I think I'd only ship with either Rod or L. Otherwise it's PINE TIME BITCH >:D

my happily ever after for them: They live to go on and solve cases, reform Wammy's into something less Orphan-Factory-esque, and quietly get married. They then spend the rest of the time taking on cases and being ungodly competitive before Mello gets too old to do field work, upon which they retire from detective work entirely and spend the rest of their days wrapped up in each other. When they die Near gets put in Mello's coffin with him, just like he asked 💗

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Near is the big spoon when they're awake, but Mello becomes the big spoon as soon as they fall asleep. Near clings whether he's conscious or not but Mello only clings when he's unconscious, and he is quite a bit taller than Near after all.

hello!!! ahh I can't say I know Liam all that well!! Admittedly, it's hard for me to get hella invested & unravel my feelings on Liam because of my sadness of Daniel not having that spot anymore 😔 I know F1 is so incredibly competitive with just those 20 spots. A ruthless game of multimillion musical chairs people fight their whole careers to achieve and keep, and Liam has probs been so super eager to get off the sidelines and get a turn I'm sure. I get it!!

I think it's canon she's bi? In TB she definitely mentioned going out on dates with girls. But I think she mentioned boys too at some point. So yep, bi. TB has 0 straight main characters 🌈 (tbf most clamp mangas have straight characters as minority)

Gender headcanon:

If it were any other author I would have headcanoned her as trans but clamp has very clear way of showing nb/agender/trans characters (like Ashura, Nataku, Hana, half of Wish cast etc.) and Hokuto doesn't fit in that criterium. So cis female

OTP:

I don't think I have any? 🤔 ofc she has a semi-canon 'love interest' but I'm not 100% certain she saw Kakyou in romantic manner. Or that if she did, he was her 'special person'. I think issue is that TB ended in 1993 while Kakyou showed up around vol 8 of X which was years later. If clamp found way to include Kakyou somehow in TB, even if just a cameo, I bet their relationship would have been much more effective. As far as fanon (fanarts, fics and headcanons) goes, I'm all for their ship.

There are probably crack ships like Hokuto/Tomoyo or Hokuto/Kotori etc. which I wouldn't mind reading. But i generally prefer canon-based stuff

BROTP:

TB trio my beloved ❤ honestly she maintained the balance between Seishirou and Subaru. She had just right amount of empathy to understand Subaru and offer him comfort in way he needed the most; but also just right amount of selfishness to pull through and try to make her own wishes reality (including her final wish 😭). I adore how physical touch was handled between twins, Subaru would be really touch starved without Hokuto. Also how she tried to bring his spirit up and make him stand out (hence fashionable clothes) and encouraged Subaru to want things for himself for once. Just unfortunately that one backfired spectacularly

And ofc Hokuto's bond with Seishirou. Tbf whole analysis could be written there bc she kept things light most of the time and Seishirou's pretense reached it's peak when interacting with her. However Hokuto is far from gullible (nor is she blinded by kindness and love like her brother), she intuitively knew something wasn't right about Seishirou. That one scene where she put knife under his neck and said she'd kill him if he ever made Subaru cry 🙏😭 queen kept her promise

Also I've just realized Hokuto was baby girling Sei-chan before fandom even got the chance

I'll never not want post TB AU where she's alive. Tbh, first time I read TB I thought her death was rushed and badly written. Mostly because it so easily could have been avoided. And then it hit me - that's exactly the core of tragedy; ending was actually amazingly written. That's probably part of why Subaru could never move on (beside his low self esteem and countless other reasons): he blames hinself because he believes she died for him and if he wasn't so weak her death could have been avoided easily

Still, despite the angst i wouldn't have changed a thing bc precisely her easily avoided death adds to the tragedy and makes manga hit so hard

So bcs I'm experiencing writers block, I started working on this Wizard!Bruno x Princess!Nayelli AU of Antisocial because I have nothing else consuming my brain 🤪 Since I'm almost done with my first fic, I've been outlining this new one and already started chapter one. So, this is obviously a very different magical take on the Encanto in which there are two different types of magic; Craft magic and Natural magic. There is craft magic. Think wizard, witches and their entire mystical world of wonderment. Spells, potions and mythical creatures. Craft is the kind of magic that is widely accepted by 'the real world'—The non-magic wielding world.

Natural magic is very rare, very pure and very powerful. This kind of magic is either hunted and drained for power, or hunted with the intention of being snuffed out. Examples of natural magic would be the Madrigal gifts.

The Encanto is a town within the enchanted mountain range that's been hidden since Pedro Madrigal's death.

He was a man with natural magic in his blood but who also had a strong passion for craft magic. When he was found out as having natural magic blood, Pedro was hunted down by dark-wizards. But Pedro sacrificed himself to protect his family and this act of true love bestowed his them with the protection of the Encanto, which has flourished in secret for fifty years.

Alma hated craft magic after this. Her beloved Pedro was targeted and killed by craft-users because of his natural gift. So all craft magic was banned from the Encanto. But Bruno was curious of his late Father's passion and studied craft magic behind his mother's back since his early teens. He thought, perhaps instead of only seeing horrible accidents and travesties in his visions, craft magic would help Bruno also see the good in the future!

But when Alma found out, she gave Bruno an ultimatum—Craft magic or his family.

So Bruno left his home and lived a life of learning and growing as a wizard. He did this while keeping his natural magic a secret from those around him, knowing the dangers of this getting out.

Through the years, Bruno fell into many jobs and alliances within the wizarding community. He'd even taken on a familiar of his own (A rat named Estrella). But ultimately, after a business partnership ends in betrayal, our Wizard Bruno secludes himself in a tower hidden within the Enchanted wood near the Ramos kingdom, dedicating his life to a lone study of magic.

Now the non-magical world also has it's own turmoil, on the brink of war between many powerful kingdoms. The Ramos Kingdom is seemingly at the center of it. Unbeknownst to the people, the kingdom is secretly adjoined to Wizard's Alley (A gateway to the mysterious wizarding world). King Javier Ramos' royal advisor, the Wizard Lucius, uses this to his advantage and has a sinister plot of his own in the works.

Due to the war, the Princess Nayelli Ramos has remained secluded in the castle for nearly a year in solitude. She has nothing but her cat, her library and her fantasies of an adventurous life beyond the castle walls (Princess Anna of Arendel Syndrome).

One fateful night, after falling asleep in the royal library, she wakes up to the Wizard Bruno sneaking into the library to peruse their famous selection of magic literature. For our Princess, it is love at first sight and she is determined to make the Wizard Bruno her new adventure.

What starts off as a sensual romance quickly turns into intense emotions and life and death steaks for the two. This is a love story that ends a war, brings our Bruno back to his family, and also brings the Madrigal's out of hiding. So... Yeah, that's what I've been working on

nea is actually kind of apathetic 🙏 if you're not his friend, he honestly doesn't care what you're going through as long as it doesn't affect him JDKFBJ he'll half-listen to you vent regardless, but won't offer anything other than a "that's rough, buddy" in response. if they don't like you though, they'll straight up say that they don't care about your problems to your face. they seem like a nice person, so it can be more than a little shocking to hear! but he's simply not the kind of person that appreciates that level of trust when he doesn't reciprocate it himself. they do have a lot of compassion though, there's a few causes that they consistently try to donate to and they always give whatever change they have to spare to people who need it on their way to the office. thinking about the state of the world and how there's nothing they can really do to make it better makes them spiral, so they try not to watch/read the news when they can avoid it.

nea keeps an old winnie the pooh bear that their late grandpa got them when they were five! it had to be restuffed and fixed a few times because of how tightly they used to hug it!! very very well loved. they keep it on a shelf in their room nowadays, but they'll on god be buried with that bear. all of their tattoos have sentimental value as well!

[ 🤝 ] how does your muse approach intimacy? are they hesitant, or do they like it? what types of intimacy do they like and dislike? (ex. physical intimacy, sexual intimacy, emotional intimacy, etc.)

they've always been hesitant when it comes to intimacy in general, but even more so after s/ocietyboy—they keep their heart safely guarded and they won't open the door to it until after they've been explicitly told by the other person that they feel the same way. they're very conscious about boundaries and comfort and consent. i'd say physical intimacy is their favorite, they love holding hands and kissing and any and all casual touches from the people they love. emotional intimacy makes them a little nervous, but it's just a matter of getting used to it. its one of those things where once you've had a taste of it you realize that you'd been starving all along. i think the same applies to sexual intimacy, they struggle with the way they look and they feel unsure because of it the first few times. but they are a lot better about it given a little time 😌
