Season 5: Familiar names in the credits

In 2007 and 2008, two Drama CDs for Kuroshitsuji were released. The first one adapted the first four chapters of the manga, and because it predates the anime's first season, it featured an entirely different voice cast. The second one adapted an extra included in Volume 2 and featured original content. That time, the voice cast was the same as for the anime.

Three voice actors who worked on the Drama CDs have since returned for the anime:

Because Shunji Fujimura passed away in 2017, Tanaka is now voiced by Mugihito who voiced him in the first Drama CD.

Masako Katsuki voiced Angelina in the first Drama CD and now voices the village crone.

In the credits of "His Butler, On Loan," another familiar name can be found, at the top in the right column:

Boy: Miyuki Sawashiro

Miyuki Sawashiro voiced Ciel in the first Drama CD.

Ellinora had the gift of healing. While injuries healed with a touch, illnesses required a kiss. She usually kept it simple—a kiss on the cheek or forehead—but when Mr. Smee begged her to help Captain Hook, she felt a hesitation she couldn’t quite name.

She followed Smee to the Jolly Roger, where Hook lay pale and feverish, his face glistening with sweat. He looked fragile, nothing like the proud, commanding man she knew. Sitting on the edge of his bed, her heart fluttered nervously.

Ellinora brushed a strand of hair from his face, her fingers trembling. She had to do this to save him, but her heart pounded at the thought. Leaning down, she pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead, her magic flowing through him like a wave of warmth.

Hook stirred, his eyelids fluttering open. Recognition crossed his tired eyes as they met hers.

“It’s you…” he murmured, his voice faint but steady.

Before she could respond, his hand grasped her sleeve weakly, tugging her closer. Her breath hitched. “W-wait,” she stammered, her pulse racing. “I… I don’t know how to…” Her words faded as his lips pressed to hers, soft but deliberate.

Ellinora froze, her mind spinning. It was her first kiss, and she had no idea what to do. Her cheeks flushed, and for a moment, she sat stiffly, her hands clutching his shirt. But as the kiss lingered, the warmth of it—the emotion—melted her hesitation. Slowly, tentatively, she leaned into him, her heart heavy with all the feelings she had buried for so long.

When he finally pulled away, Hook looked at her, a faint, bittersweet smile on his lips. “Ellie…”

She stood abruptly, her face burning. “I… I should go. You need rest,” she said, her voice trembling. Without waiting for his reply, she hurried out of the room, her lips tingling from his touch.
