Hindsight is 20/20, but I don't think you needed to be psychic to guess that destroying ALL the shimmer supply was a bad idea.
Tumblr media
In Act Three it took three whole doctors to save Vi's life after she gets slashed by a Noxian blade across the chest. Yet in s1 it took a single drop of shimmer to save Vi from the deep stab in the gut Sevika gave her without any other form of medical intervention.
Tumblr media
There's just a really gross sense of irony that Caitlyn and Piltover at large took away Zaun's main source of medical care (as controversial as it may be), and then put it's people through a meat grinder battle while withholding such care.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It doesn't help that the meat grinder battle was useless ploy for Jayce to get close to Viktor and so a lot of people, specifically Zaunites, died for nothing.

Intersex should be included in "basic biology."
It is literally so easy to include intersex people from the get-go in biology class. Same with transgender, transsex, and altersex.
And its super important because we can guarantee that at least one of the students in that class is intersex, or will know an intersex person, considering intersex people are as common as green eyes (and possibly even more common, due to being underdiagnosed/misdiagnosed.)
Like, first, you DO NOT separate the class into "male" and "female" segments. Teach everyone the same lessons, don't contribute to kids developing sexist stereotypes and anatomical confusion. Then, explain perisex anatomy. Use the words perisex, TWDP/wolffipathian, and TMDP/mulleripathian while explaining.
Then, you explain intersex people's existence. You say:
"Some people fall outside of the perisex classification. This is known as being intersex. The intersex spectrum includes: -People with a urethra that is in an atypical location, or merged with the vagina or anus. -People with a penis that has an atypical appearance. -People with genitalia or reproductive organs that are small, closed off, or have absent parts. -People with extra genitals or reproductive organs. -People with mixed genitals or reproductive organs. -People with higher levels of estrogen or androgens than expected. -People with lower levels of estrogen or androgens than expected, or a body that does not process estrogen or androgen. -People with the opposite chromosomes than expected. -People with chromosomes other than XX and XY (0X, 0X-XY, XX-XY, XYY, XYYY, XYYYY, XXYYY, XXXYY, XXYY, XXY, XXXY, XXXXY, XXXXX, XXXX, and XXX.) [Have a slideshow with illustrations of each of these examples.] If you want to learn more about intersex people, here is a pamphlet including all currently known intersex traits and variations. [Hand each student a pamphlet that explains in brief, easy to understand, but concise language all intersex variations, with illustrations to go along with it. Something similar to our intersex guide, but with your own spin on it.] Being intersex has its own unique sets of challenges, and may co-exist with certain disorders and characteristics, but it is not a disorder itself. A person is either born intersex or develops intersex traits during puberty. Taking hormones or undergoing surgery does not change your perisex or intersex state - you cannot become one or the other, it is just something you biologically are. If a person - perisex or intersex - wishes to change their sex traits, they may call themself transsex or altersex." [And then you can expand upon that, talking about transgender people as well, and how gender and sex are separate concepts.]
It's so easy to be inclusive and to stop promoting intersex erasure.

Character Diversity Done Right: Beyond Tokenism & Forced Inclusivity
Diversity in storytelling isn’t just about ticking boxes or adding characters to look inclusive. It’s about creating real, nuanced people who enrich your world and resonate with readers. Let’s break down how to do diversity thoughtfully — without falling into the trap of forced inclusivity or the “token minority” trope.
✨ What Is Forced Inclusivity?
Forced inclusivity happens when diversity feels like an obligation instead of a natural part of the story.
Characters might be added just to meet a quota.
Their identities are mentioned but not explored or integrated meaningfully.
They often feel out of place or like an afterthought.
Why avoid it?
Because it can feel performative, shallow, or even disrespectful. Readers want authentic stories — not characters who exist only to “check a box.”
⚠️ The Token Minority Trap
A “token” character is often the only member of their group in the story, included to represent an entire community. They usually:
Have one-dimensional traits centered on their identity (e.g., the “sassy Black friend” or “nerdy gay sidekick”).
Are used to educate or explain cultural issues instead of being full characters.
Serve as a plot device rather than people with their own goals and flaws.
💡 How to Write Diversity Well
1. Make characters fully fleshed-out individuals.
Diversity isn’t just skin-deep or a label — it’s about who the character is inside. When you create a diverse character, ask yourself:
What motivates them? What are their dreams and fears beyond their identity?
How do their relationships shape them?
What quirks, flaws, or contradictions make them human?
This makes them feel real, not like a “diversity prop.” For example, a transgender character could be a talented detective who struggles with self-doubt, a funny sense of humor, and complicated family ties — not just “the trans character.”
2. Avoid stereotypes and clichés.
Stereotypes reduce complex people to a handful of traits. They can be harmful and alienate readers who identify with those characters.
Do your research! Read books, watch films, and listen to podcasts created by people from the community you’re portraying.
Avoid relying on common tropes like the “magical Native American,” “angry Black woman,” or “promiscuous bisexual.”
Give your character individuality that breaks expectations — maybe they defy norms within their own culture or identity.
Example
Instead of the “model minority” trope, write an Asian character who struggles with their own passions, insecurities, and family dynamics, making them a well-rounded person, not just a stereotype.
3. Include multiple diverse characters.
Having just one “diverse” character often makes them a symbol rather than a person. Real communities are rich, varied, and nuanced — and your story should reflect that.
Introduce more than one character from the same or different backgrounds to show variety.
Show how their experiences differ even if they share an identity. For instance, two queer characters might have completely different outlooks based on age, culture, or personality.
This avoids the “token” feeling and creates a more believable world.
4. Let diversity shape the world naturally.
In real life, diversity influences culture, language, food, traditions, and social dynamics. Your story world should feel lived-in and authentic.
Think about how diverse backgrounds affect worldbuilding — from holidays and cuisine to language and fashion.
Show interactions between communities, including cooperation, conflict, and blending of cultures.
Don’t just “drop in” diverse characters without integrating their identities into the story’s social fabric.
Example
In a fantasy city, different kingdoms might reflect distinct cultures with their own customs and dialects — giving your setting richness and depth.
5. Don’t make identity the only thing about them.
A character’s ethnicity, gender, or sexuality is part of who they are — but not the whole story.
Their identity can influence their worldview and experiences, but they should have other defining traits too — like ambitions, fears, or talents unrelated to identity.
Avoid writing characters whose entire personality or plot revolves around their minority status.
This lets readers see them as complex individuals, not just representatives.
Example:
A Black engineer who’s passionate about robotics and has a dry sense of humor — their race is important, but so is their love for tinkering and problem-solving.
6. Listen and learn from feedback.
No one gets it perfect on the first try. Writing diverse characters is a learning process.
Seek out sensitivity readers from the communities you’re writing about. Their insights can catch unintentional biases, inaccuracies, or harmful stereotypes.
Be open to constructive criticism and willing to revise your work.
Remember: it’s better to listen and grow than to defend mistakes that could hurt readers.
Final Thought
Diversity is about inclusion and respect, not obligation or tokenism. When you write with empathy and intention, your story becomes richer — and your characters become unforgettable.

Also I love that despite having 3 of the 5 other members of the crew profess their attraction to them, Pin-Lee was completely surprised that Ratthi fell for them and not Arada.

Why did I just see a post making fun of Chaol’s disability?? Like… be so serious for a second. I don’t care if you love him, hate him, or feel neutral—mocking a character for becoming disabled is just nasty.
I don’t have strong feelings on Chaol either way. I think he’s human, he made mistakes, and he had flaws, but he’s not some irredeemable villain the fandom makes him out to be. He did what a lot of characters did—he messed up, he learned, he grew. And the fact that he went through a brutal, life-altering injury, struggled with his identity because of it, and had to redefine his own worth was actually one of the most raw, real, and well-written parts of his arc.
Like, if you want to drag him for his actual character flaws, fine. But making fun of the fact that he became disabled?? That’s not fandom discourse, that’s just gross.

Five Kisses
-desperate kisses - Joel
Joel's hands are slightly too tight where he's holding your face, pulling you close as possible while he kisses you. It's mess, needy in the way he'd loudly deny, and so him it makes your heart melt.
He's crowding close, pressing you up against one of the trees you've built around your base, an eager hand sliding into you hair to gently tug. He bites a little too hard at your lower lip and you break away from him with a laugh.
Joel is always handsome, but looking at him like this? Needy with a flushed face and kiss swollen lips? He's gorgeous, and he's smiling up at you like he's thinking the same thing about you.
One of his hands is still cradling your cheek, and he uses his hand in your hair to tug you back down into another messy kiss. You pull away again much sooner than he wanted if his pout is anything to go on, but it turns into a delighted smile when you invite him inside.
-tender kisses - Etoiles
You wake up slow, warm and comfortable. Etoiles has an arm slung over you, and as you wake up he pulls you closer. He presses soft kisses from your temple to your jaw, sweet and gentle. When you finally open your eyes you see that he's smiling, impossibly soft and fond.
With your eyes open, Etoiles moves from kissing your cheeks to giving little sweet kisses over your entire face, making you laugh and squirm slightly. He grins and kisses the tip of your nose, then finally, finally, kisses you.
It starts as a peck, then his hand is cradling your cheek and he's pressing you into the sheets, kissing you slow and sweet. You don't know how long you both lay there, basking in each other's presence and exchanging kisses, but it's everything you could ask for.
-butterfly kisses - Tango
You hear him yell your name, and it's the only warning you get before he's barreling into you, scooping you up into his arms and swinging you around. You shriek with laughter, clinging onto him as he spins.
When he finally stops you're both breathless with laughter, smiling so wide it makes you feel silly. You look up at him and your breath catches, the way the sun frames him, the sunshine lighting up his eyes... You can't help but kiss him.
He giggles into the kiss, his hands coming up to cradle your face as you pull away from him. You open your mouth to say something, but it's overwhelmed by giggles as he peppers kisses over your face. You look up to return the favor and your breath catches, his face is so close to yours and your heart skips as he dips close and gives a butterfly kiss against your cheek.
You can feel yourself flushing and have to hide your face in his neck as you both giggle.
-overwhelming kisses - Hels
Their lips burn hot against yours as they nip at your lip, their hands squeezing your hips as they press as close as they can. When they pull away slightly, breathing heavy as they loom over you, you can't help but admire the look in their eyes. It's something desperate and overwhelming, like they want to devour you whole, like they need to be close to you all of the time.
It's impossibly endearing. Hels is more possessive than they like to admit and at times like these you think you'd be more than okay if they wanted to show that more. Instead of saying so, you wrap your arms around their neck and pull them down for another kiss.
They kiss you and kiss you and kiss you and you find yourself dizzy and have to remind yourself to breathe. Their hands are so tight on your hips that it's absolutely going to bruise later, something that you mentally promise to tease them about later, but for now you just smile into the kiss and press closer.
-french kisses - Roier
You can't help but whimper as Roier presses you into the sheets, his tongue sliding against yours in a way that makes you shiver. He grins at the sound, doubling down and nudging you chin to give him the right angle to suck your tongue.
It pulls another whine from you, and you're trying to focus on anything but the slick slide of Roier's tongue piercing against your tongue. You're failing terribly, and you tangle your fingers in his hair, tugging firmly.
It makes him moan and he pulls away, looking down at you with eyes that burn with want and you feel your cheeks flush hot. He ducks back down to kiss you, heated and lewd and needy, and you know you're not leaving bed for the next few hours.

Hello everyone,
I really hate to do this at the beginning of the most stressful month of the year but I don’t know what else to do.
My city’s job market has not been kind to me and so I’ve taken up streaming games to build an audience to make some money. But that hasn’t gotten that far yet. I’m scrambling for ideas to meet my bills at the end of December and for January, so I come to you through the power of Tumblr.
I have a few ventures I would appreciate you considering:
TheFirstJOman streams on Twitch and YouTube; donations through PayPal and Kofi
MWAC photos for wallpapers, prints, and et cetera
Logicality web design, Windows applications, and IT support (PLEASE only reach out via email, and PLEASE do not use/share my listed number maliciously)
All of these I offer in hopes you can get something in return for your money.
I currently need:
CA$864.00 for January rent
2x CA$107.59 for December and January internet
CA$126.01 for January car insurance
About CA$100 for December electricity
About CA$300 for December gas, groceries, and bank fees
That’s a grand total of 1,605.19 Canadian Dollary-doos that I’m looking to work for to ease my financial stress; that’s ~803 TFJ members that can donate $2 each and find entertainment in my streams, ~321 $5 MWAC image licenses, OR ~20 hours of Logicality IT work.
Please hire me if you can and please reblog if you can’t. I desperately need this to reach people before the end of this month.
Thank you for reading, thank you in advance if you reblog, and a huge, special thank you in advance if you’re able to spare some money 🫶
