starting by saying that i think loveless aros are the coolest people ever. i think a lot about lovelessness and how it might apply to me and,,, well. to start. a few years ago it was not a word that fit because i felt at the time that i felt love in nonromantic ways. right now, though, my feelings are tied up a lot in semantics, and no matter how large my feelings might be and how similar they might be to what other people would categorize as love, i don't feel that i have access to the concept of love as society presents it. to me, love is a word/concept that is currently inextricable from the romantic aspect of things: not that all love is romantic, but that love is always expected to include romance as one of its forms. there are obviously many many ways to love someone but my aromanticism makes me feel as if my feelings for people aren't love as conceived of by society at large. so. in that way. i Don't feel love. which i think is what the technical definition of lovelessness is. the longer answer is to say that i don't believe in the societal construct of love but that gets me looks that are just as weird haha. anyway. no matter what lovelessness is awesome and i will always treasure loveless aros. keeping that word alongside me like a little companion for company and assistance in my times of need

Connected Timelines Ramble: Backing off my previous 'Geno has an ex' headcanon, what if Dust happened to be that ex? I can see them bonding over shared trauma: surviving a genocided timeline and losing their brothers.

So when Dust eventually came clean about his past, that he genocided his own timeline [and others under Nightmare], even if he felt guilty and wanted to change, the heartbreak and betrayal Geno would have felt was devastating.

Even if it was originally done to stop Chara, the fact that he continued to genocide other timelines was despicable in Geno's eyes. Dust became the very same person he hated, and all Geno could see when looking at Dust was her. He broke it off instantly and Dust respected his decision and never contacted him again.

Given that Nightmare and Dream have now been at peace for decades, they're often invited to the same get togethers. They've never told anyone else about their previous relationship, so they act all awkward around each other and nobody knows why.

Nico isn’t sure what’s worse: the fact that his childhood best friend seemingly disappeared into thin air a week ago, or the fact that the hottest guy he’s ever seen in his life has mysteriously appeared within Camp Jupiter’s walls. 

“Of course it was the first cohort,” he overhears after a Senate meeting, whispered in the halls. “He must be crazy powerful, if Lupa didn’t even need to train him!” 

“Shut up, that’s just a rumor. Everyone has to meet Lupa.” 

“They definitely met,” the first voice insists. Nico leans further into his shadows. The pair pass in front of him. “But she just let him go.” 

Hot guy is, of course, the gossip of the week. The month, even. 

Nico privately decides that hot guy is worse, only because it seems like his presence alone has turned the Legion into morons who’ve forgotten their freakishly powerful, supposed-to-be-Praetor has literally evaporated. Poof! No more son of Neptune! 

Nico would think the people who just a few years ago made a massive deal out of every move said son of Neptune made would pay a little more attention to the fact that the whole freaking man is gone! 

But no. There’s new gossip to be had, about a blonde with drool-worthy eyes and a scar on his lip and a suspiciously-missing backstory. 

Spend enough time in the Underworld, and you learn to suspect the whole amnesia act. Shades always know more than they pretend to. 

As the senate hall empties, Nico sinks fully back into the shadows. 

He will not let this stand.

hmmmmmmm okay so going through the databook, the timelines keep the same dates for major events for every character across the board. except in two very specific cases, that wouldn't be accurate, since the initial petrification wave hit california and tokyo on different days.

since this threatened to drive me crazy, i decided all dates likely correspond UTC time to match with the ISS timeline since they're the only ones actively observing right after the wave hits.

so if you take into account that the petrification date has to fall on 6/3 UTC time, then you can work backwards to figure out the difference in dates.

first, it's ~20:00 off the west coast of the US when the wave hits. that would make it 03:00 UTC, just barely past the date change. (taking into account that in the summer PST is 7hrs behind UTC)

conversely, it's ~12:00 in japan, which is +9, making it again 03:00 UTC when the petrification wave hits.

so if the date is 6/3 in the US, that would make it early 6/4 UTC, which doesn't work. meaning, it has to be 6/2 across the western hemisphere, and 6/3 is the correct date for the rest of the world, including what is observed up aboard the ISS.
