We got a better look during the sneak peak today and if you play with the brightness you can see it sadly is not Eddie Chris during the 6.01 but Buck and Jee
https://x.com/eddieboykisser/status/1857114864055185622
Hey Nonnie.
We’re going to have to agree to disagree I’m afraid!
I’ve seen the better look and I remain confident that it is not a picture of buck and Jee! I’ve played around with the brightness etc myself and there is no way that is Buck for starters or Jee off to the side either - that is an adult not a child in the right side of the picture - the nose is far far to big and point yto be a child’s nose and Jee has an especially button nose that is fairly flat - not pointed.
I want to ask why if that is Buck and Jee, Buck would cut most of Jee out of frame and put what basically amounts to a picture of himself up on his fridge?? Buck is not narcissistic and none of the other pictures on the fridge are cropped in that way - which means that it is someone other than Buck - who is important to him.
This is tv so those pictures are selected by the set team for a reason - if that was a picture of buck and Jee there are a million screenshots they could’ve used from that buck Jee scene when he’s carrying her that wouldn’t have involved cutting her in half in that way.
Tumblr media
My other issues with this being Buck and Jee are that if it was Jee then we should be able to see her black hair across the forehead of that person - we can’t see it - what we can see is the full large forehead - which is in proportion with the other person in the picture - so adult sized. We can also see an arm now at the bottom of the picture - it looks like the elbow and lower section of the upper arm in that corner if you ask me.
Secondly if that was indeed Buck - his birthmark should be visible - the section above his eyebrow is clearly lit l, even if the quality is low right now with the screen grabs we have, so we should by all accounts be able to see that section of his birthmark clearly.
Thirdly - the hairline is wrong for buck and the background doesn’t match the door that Buck is in front of in that scene with Jee.
We can see the white section above the main persons head carries on across the whole of the top of the picture and the black section is angled more or less in the same way as Bucks staircase is, even if it’s slightly obscured by the magnet clip.
The person half cut out by the is far more likely to be Buck because he wanted to display a picture of the other person not himself.
Tumblr media
I might’ve got the scene wrong, it looks to me like it’s maybe from 6x13 - mixed feelings and the homework scene when they talk about bucks lightning math skills, but I remain pretty sure that that is Eddie.
You can see the green of the shirt he wears in that scene and the neckline of it is correct for the green Henley and you can also see the hairline is Eddie’s hairline not bucks - which has much more of a curve out before it goes down into his side burns. You can also see Eddie’s rosy cheek apple.
So yeah - sorry to disagree with you and get pedantic, but there’s no way that is a picture of Buck.
Also it being a picture of Eddie from mixed feelings makes narrative sense with the context of that scene. The fridge is divided into a section that Buck is sure about on the right hand side - the Hans, and Chris - while the left appears to be things he’s not sure about - that he is mixed up about - so Eddie and the concept of the Buckley Diaz family (not being sure if they are a family etc) not sure what the bottom blue coloured picture is off - it looks like a weird cat to me but until I can get a better look at it I’m not making judgements, but what I do know is that it’s blue and yellow and therefore playing into the blue and yellow queer narrative theming that I’ve spoken about at length in various metas.
We’ll have to wait for the episode to see if we can get better stills, and if I’m wrong I’m more than happy to hold my hands up and admit it - but for now I remain convinced it’s a picture of Eddie!

i know youre not a studyblr but as a senior can you please give any suggestions on managing 12th boards and competitive exams (im a jee aspirant but i still wanna know how you managed it all) hope its not a bother!
hiii sure!! feel free to reach out whenever, im happy to help <33
okay so. what i suggest you do (assuming you'll be starting 11th this year):
1. Enter 11th std. Don't get intimidated by others. Stay focused on understanding the concepts of all chapters, school exams toh derivations and formulas rattkar bhi ho jayenge. Clear concepts now rather than saving it for 'later'.
2. Practice all PYQs and whatever questions you get for maths. You can only do maths with practice × 100000. It's honestly quite tough, or it's too lengthy.
3. Fully strengthen the 'easier chapters' NOW. Own the knowledge like you made the concept.
4. Enter 12th. Let go of 11th from april-september and fully finish 12th std as soon as possible. Cover all concepts (I believe physics in 12th is relatively easier) and learn all formulas by your midterm exam time at school.
5. USE YOUR SUMMER VACATIONS WELL. COVER ALL BACKLOGS THEN AND THERE. (I regret procrastinating soo much 😭)
6. Just revise 12th entirely and focus on PYQs during October.
7. Nov-Dec go through 11th std again thoroughly, don't take too much stress for preboard cause hopefully you've prepared for 12th strong enough already. Don't take preboard marks to heart!!
8. January, do only and only JEE PYQs and cover whatever backlogs you have. Physics formulas must be learn to the heart. Understand organic chemistry basics very very well, cause it will help predict complex product formations too even if you don't remember the actual reaction!! Maths again, only practice or God can save you 💀 (I'm sorry I'm really scared of maths so maybe this is a biased reply!)
9. Now you'll have board practicals likely in Jan end or Feb only, just make sure your file is complete and you know the basic procedure of experiments. Don't stress too much about viva, usually your own teachers will help you through it!! Focus on practicals as it helps with conceptual JEE Qs too!!
10. Now simply focus on learning derivations and long answer type questions for upcoming boards. You've done enough for JEE and it's time to strength subjective answers. Focus only on cbse board PYQs and again, don't stress too much. Be confident you've worked so hard!!
11. Now the April attempt. Again start focusing on 11th at least 2 weeks before your JEE date. Revise 11th very well.
12. Lastly, solve sample papers only. During the last 3 days I recommend not studying. Only sample papers. With full syllabus. No chapter-wise or topic-wise. But yes if you still don't have concepts cleared, definitely do that asap. Still try to be fully prepared 3 days before the actual exam!!
That's all <33 I made it as detailed as possible for anyone to refer to. Set a goal and follow through guys!! I know it's super hard and yeah 11th mein vo feeling nahi aati, but trust me, if you can push yourself hard in 11th, you won't have to worry too much for the April attempt for sureeee.
All the best <33

hey i hope this isn't coming off as offensive or something but how do you know about abstract math already in 11th?/12th grade. honestly i enjoy math and want to get into higher forms of math too but i'm struggling with 11th as is and need to study that proeprly for jee, yk? annyway hope everythings going well in your life lol
heyyy! Dw It doesn't come off as offensive bestie, thanks for the ask, and i hope this helps!!
Well I've always been very hateful towards maths as a concept but my sister loves it, so she kept giving me books to read about mathematical thinking and stuff and then during the covid lockdown time, my sister, who was studying pure maths and engineering at the time, taught me a bunch of stuff, and then I sorta developed an interest and continued to learn through books and stuff on my own lmao
math does suck most of the time and for now, seeing the really weirdly huge scale of jee math I've been also trying to focus more on my basics and my only advice would be to just focus on jee rn (cause that's what I am doing 😭😭😭😭) cause it really is a very shitty and tough exam and if you can, only and only if you have the mental space (again: cause jee tends to take up most of mine lol) read a beginner math book or a like a yt lecture (I've heard mit ocw has good ones!), i started with "a mind for numbers" by Barbara Oakley and "mathematical thinking: for people who hate maths" by alexander Rutherford so maybe they'll help you as well!! I hope everything's going well in your life too <3

First post. No further elaboration. Coz why?
Just kidding. I am here to talk today....or to vent, more precisely.
JEE is hard. It's ridiculous. But what's even more ridiculous are the expectations, the burden of honor, and the fear of disappointment and despair ingrained into our values caused due to our inability to cope with the extraordinary expectations, after we get into the toppers group.
I worked hard to get into the 'good kids' group. Then I got demotivated after a single failure coz I'm fucking weak, and now am procrastinating.
"Plenty of people finished 11 and 12 in class 9 and 10. They only practice and take mock tests for the 2 years of secondary higher education. So if you don't atleast finish 12 within 11, you'll never crack JEE. And anything without IIT CSE is meaningless when you are in JEE." —Mom
"You can't even rank first in the small area that we live in? What are you gonna do in JEE where competition is at national level?" —Mom, after I scored 207/300 and ranked 6th at my local coaching centre in my first JEE Main Mock test with Kinematics, mole concept, periodic table, trigonometry as topics.
And the thing is, I can't even protest her words, after all, the 1st rank scored 264 and the 2nd rank scored 246. With such a huge difference, I can't even argue. Since more is expected from me as I am supposedly a kid who is wasting away my potential as a someone who can become a JEE top ranker.
"What? You only answered 252? You couldn't even answer 300? You know right how much your marks will be considering your poor 90% accuracy rate? It will go down to minimum of 220s. I am quite disappointed."
This is the 2nd mock test I am talking about, the result hasn't been declared yet. But this exam was said to be especially hard with the insanely tough maths section and mid hard chem questions. The 1st ranker dude from last time answered 230s this time, and the 2nd ranker answered 256. The 3rd ranker, who is actually one of the best prospect in our entire class 11 batch in the whole state, answered 284 but he's quite sad because apparently he will get a lot of negatives. I am expecting 3rd or 2nd rank this time but I think life's gonna gimme lemons as always.
This is what I go through as a JEE aspirant. It wasn't supposed to be this hard. It's toxic at this point. I am in a rat race that I can't even escape like in other countries, considering even self help opportunities such as working at fast food chains or something, for minors here are considered trash of the society. We aren't free here, we don't have the opportunity to experience the world and explore my options to find out what I am good at. There's only three options. Doctor, engineer, lawyer. This might sound funny because of the stereotype vids on YouTube about Asians. But it's not funny. Many of us can't handle the pressure and commit suicide. Kota, a city in Rajasthan known for being a hotspot of coaching centres, is also stereotyped for being the Indian version of Japan's suicide forest, except it's exclusively for kids. Others go to depression and fall into the abyss of gambling and drugs.
The education system here has lost it's purpose. It has become an elitist system where the only way of survival is either your own talent or your backing. If you don't have either, you're better off being a lowest ranking member of the society succumbing to the higher ranks.
1:46 AM in the morning, I am sitting here writing this post thinking if anybody could say something that would turn my life around. This is more of a silent cry for help instead of something new to share with the world. I am sitting here in vain thinking there might be some magic trick to success here when I deep down know there doesn't exist one. And thus, I fall into this deep rabbit hole, all in my know. I want to stop this spiraling vortex of abyss inside myself that is erasing my existence. But I'm not trying. It's as if I have been mentally and spiritually paralysed.
I have realised something as conclusion. Life is drowning in reality, but the hellish standards that we have here in India are the sandbags that are tied to our feet in this already suffocative water, with no end of depth, we keep drowning and going deeper and deeper. I'm not happy. I want to break out. But I can't. This is painful. I hope it stops. But again, I know it won't, resulting in only pushing myself deeper into the abyss because of my hope being shattered. Hope is becoming dangerous by the day for me.
Am I the only one?
