I did this one as part of a monthly challenge thing, so I will (hopefully) be posting a new mythical creature each or every few days. It’ll be a good challenge I hope! This one is of the Kama itachi which translates to sickle weasel. These Japanese yokai have sickle like claws, as sharp as razors. Their fur is spiny like a hedgehog and they bark like a dog. Kappas for #monstermashmonth They are funny little creatures that live in streams of Japan. Kappas can be kind and helpful as well as dangerous. They have been blamed for drownings and like to touch butts O.o Kappas apparently will not harass you if you give them cucumbers or eat cucumbers before you swim. They also like soba noodles and pumpkins ha I find mythology so interesting and love how it is always evolving depending on region and time. :)
