Yeah no I fuck with this. A cartoon character making you hard or wet shouldn't be an alien concept. It's healthy, I think, to look at something or someone hot and be aroused. (and for my fellow Aces, it's fine if you don't!)

Look at Sal. These are rough sketches, but I designed her specifically to be hot, to be sexually appealing, for people too look at her and say, "Yeah, I really really want to fuck that tiger really hard." - and as an earnest expression of myself and my tastes. Who knew, my taste fucking rules.

It's good. Simple as. Draw fan service. Make your characters hot. Draw them in compromising angles. Show off what they got. We are beings of warm blood and meat and we tend to (not always with) like to slam each other together.

Thank you for speaking up about the Pansear thing, I know myself and a lot of people want speak up to aswell but can't fearing they'll be targeted and harrassed, so thank you <3

i was ... also terrified of talking about it, honestly. maybe never would've dared if i hadn't seen kcdodger's post about the situation.

just writing it took a day or two, deleting draft after draft.

i've known the screenshots were fake since ... a couple days after they released, i think? but it took a while to kind of come to grips with that, given how unanimous the sentiment against pansear is in the fandom right now. i really wasn't sure what to believe, at first, with how suddenly they disappeared — sure, the screenshots could be faked, but why leave without saying anything about it? why just vanish, except out of guilt?

but pan was already disengaging from the rain world fandom over the harassment. this looks to have just been the final straw. i wish they hadn't taken down all their art on the way out — it's pan's decision to delete their own stuff, but privating the kiss me kill me map forced inkycorvid (its cohost) to do a massive amount of work getting it back online...

there are still questions i have about everything. some of pansear's long-time friends seem to have washed their hands of her, which makes me wonder a little if they learned something else bad alongside this whole drama.

all the same, i can't just sit by and let this go unchallenged when i know it's not true. even with pan gone, the accusations are still hurting people.

Five years ago today, I started my life with my beloved @opashoo. Nothing has ever been the same. Nothing ever will be the same... and I'm so, so happy for that. So, to celebrate our half-decade of being together (though, we have spent six years in each other's lives..!), she and I started work on a joint reference sheet (The format of which was actually inspired by CoffeeSoda's work!) together. So, here it is!

CHARACTER INFORMATION --------------------------------------------------

Saladin Faliya, 34 year old Transwoman from Ard, Starship Captain, 6'3, 220lbs, married to Avo Faliya. Ace pilot, mage, artist and expert marksman based out of Port Callahan in Neutral space, Saladin has led a tumultuous life since she was a young adult, but even moreso over the last seven years has led a life of crime, from smuggling and gunrunning to drugrunning and evasion of all major government bodies' law enforcement.

Only recently seeking asylum in trade for service to The Orranian Government after a nearly fatal incident convinced her that her lifestyle was unsustainable and dangerous to her crew and chosen family. Despite her questionable-on-the-surface life choices, Saladin has always sought to find a better life and has always looked our for those around her however possible.

Avo Faliya, 31 year old Transwoman from Paekūn, Copilot of The Steadfast, 5'3, 125lbs, married to Saladin Faliya. Alchemist, Witch, Artist, Pilot and otherwise versatile shiphand, Avo led a fairly simple life on Paekūn prior to leaving her home to live on Port Callahan, restless and in search of a more fulfilling life outside of League of Sovereign space.

Though her life has only become more complex in recent years, it's easy to say that ever since she took co-captaincy of a starship, she's gained exactly the freedom she was looking for when she left Paekūn all those years prior.

Together, Saladin and Avo learned a lot from each other, quickly falling in love after finally meeting face to face. Though their lives became difficult and more complex, and compromises had to be made to make things work, they had to [i]want[/i] things to work in the first place. Now, the two are happily married and facing life together, whatever shape it may take or whatever challenges it throws their way. There is nowhere either of them would rather be than at each other's sides. --------------------------------------------------

Thank you, hon. Thank you for making this with me. I'm so glad we have each other, and that we can show that to the world. I'll always be with you, no matter what.

As it turns out, I can be somewhat airheaded, and as such, I wholly, completely forgot to post my art here on tumblr. Admittedly, I'm not used to actually... putting, anything on the platform. It'll take time. Twitter did a number on me that way.

Hello everyone! This is also the official debut of my MetroAU's Artificer!!

She's an Ex Cop (ACAB) who used to work as Governor Pebbles' top enforcer, a, "One woman kill team", as he put it.

She joined after her children were killed during a gang war in the city, all of them caught in the crossfire. She wanted to prevent others from suffering the same fate.

Artificer left the PD after she confronted The King, who, like her, had their own FPPD Badge (the drone they both wore), raising a lot of questions she still doesn't have answers to, such as "Who's really to blame for my city's problems?"

It's been a long time, and she still doesn't have answers. But things take a strange turn when a new officer knocks on her door, asking if she's had any contact with Governor Pebbles. It's a strange question to ask, but nobody's heard from him for a while.

And parts of the city are being cordoned off.
