Some sharks

I'm working on some stuff. Wanted to test out a Shishido shark while also drawing more Yamai (to get the hang of him.)

I looked up images of Shishido, and I can't seem to find anything on google w him holding a sledgehammer?? Is2g I saw him toting one at some point.

Btw, Shishido is a tiger shark. They're often used for sharkfin soup, which is a banned food due to the cruelty that it usually inspires; people sometimes remove their fins and just. release the shark

I had a lot of issues with infinite wealth’s ending. But this scene was not one of them. I mean I saw some people wondering why Ichi forgave him but guys. Literally half of his party all tried to kill him at first. And his father shot him before and his brother tried killing him and yet he still forgave them so regardless to say I think it’s in character.

I love how ichi tried so hard to ensure that Eiji got the redemption he needed.

I'm used to this kinda thing. Besides, if they wanna hate, I say let 'em. The hell should either of us care? We know where you're at. If your heart's in the right place, that's all that matters.

Nick Ogata not coming back for Infinite Wealth is homophobia, plain and simple. That man went through the experience of being Ichiban's faggoty little fairy godmother. From teaching him to use a smartphone, to aiding his business ventures, to dramatically announcing LAD's plot twist to the world on live TV in the middle of an election, just to be left in the dark while everyone goes on a fun Hawaiian vaca.

ok so, one of the neatest little details of infinite wealth is that you can buy gifts around town for members of your party. any gift you give adds a minimum of +4 to their bond with you, but if its an item that particular party member really likes then it'll add +8 to your bond. anyway, I went into an adult store and saw you could gift fishnets to someone. I've just been plying adachi with gifts because hes the only one I've not maxed the bond out with yet so I gave it to him and

I think Mine is so interesting be his "villainess" is so deeply personal, his antagonistic role stems from his perceived loss of daigo, i think its cruel to think his actions meant he didnt care for daigo since daigo was only comatose. He clearly states that much of his concerns come from a fear of daigo becoming exploited, that keeping him in the state he is in would be undignified and disrespectful, that he would be willing to lead the Tojo clan not because daigo would want him to but because daigos very existence gave him some veiled sense of meaning and the Tojo clan would be his last remaining connection, a dream that daigo shared with him.

It's cool that mine claims to care little for others when hes so fond of both daigo and his adoptive father, that he doesnt know how to feel human (that daigo was the first to show him Ill), that he scraped and clawed his way out of poverty no thanks to anything or anyone but himself.

To me, Mines antagonistic role stems from his love, and lack there of. Which is different from other antagonists who seek power or wealth or respect. It's also something that isnt revealed until the very end, up until the rooftop confession kiryus under the impression that Mine is like everyone else, that he wants power, money. Instead, mine makes a confession of love and his destruction of the orphanage is extremely personal not just because he blames it for daigos state, but also because of his own self loathing.

Kiryus fights with the villains arent always a battle of strength, they arent just physical fights, its a battle of will. Kiryus strength is not just physical, its emotional. It's interesting that kiryus most exhausting fights (mine in yakuza 3 and ebina in yakuza IW) are also the ones that follow very emotional stories (have ur opinions on IW ebina but i think the game was really clear that ebina was more of an overarching theme/yakuza representation, and to me i thought it was rather nice)
