AACKK, THANK YOUU. Error is fun to draw, man. He's such a scrunkly, sassy man, I love him so much. EEY, THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Look at me, man. I wrote a fic with body horror monstrosities that I have no skill to draw. I basically mooch of my frens, Dev and Mirage, to draw them for me at this point lmao. The match had been going on for hours. It was heated and aggressive and even from the stands James could feel the intensity. The score had been close the entire game and it all came down to who could catch the snitch first, but neither seeker had seen it the entire game.

That was until Regulus spotted it hovering in the corner of the pitch only centimeters above the ground. James saw the moment Regulus found it and he didn’t hesitate to go after it. He shot across the pitch faster than James had ever seen him fly and James had to brace himself on the front of the stands as he watched Regulus dive directly towards the ground. It was a risky move because Regulus would have to pull up at the very last second so he didn’t crash into the ground or the side of the pitch. 

It felt like time slowed down and James held his breath the entire time. Regulus reached his hand out and wrapped his fingers around the snitch at the same time as he pulled his broom up and spun to the side to fly straight up along the side of the pitch. It was beautiful. And ridiculously stupid.

Regulus had the biggest smile on his face as he flew over to James.

“You are insane.” James told him. “But that incredible. You’re incredible.”

“For you.” Regulus held out the snitch.

Instead of taking the snitch, James wrapped his hand around Regulus’ wrist and pulled him down for a kiss.

“For you.” James said when they broke the kiss.

I find it kind of funny how anti-AA "media literacy" experts around the fandom claim you can only see Astarion's Ascension as a positive if you "miss the point of the story", and then their "deep analysis" is just the most surface level, shallow, 1:1 equivalency between a fictional story in it's own fantasy world and a "sorta similar" real life equivalent covered up in American therapy speak and parroting hays code-esque logic based primarily off of epitext, route-break consequences, and like, maybe one line of dialogue or whatever.

Not to mention - multi-narrativity? Genres? Literary concepts (catharsis through violence, etc.)? Room for different interpretations of what's romantic (in fiction or otherwise - yes, some people love HEA actually <3 eternal love is beautiful, and so is mutual obsession <3), like a classic vampiric love - unpunished, intense, obsessive, devoted and almost holy - eternal? Themes - like a vampire representing sexual desire, as such - historically - the vampire (or the LI) must be punished - a trope subverted, by letting them be happy together (a reading wholly supported in-text, sorry not sorry-this is what makes AA romance so great too)? Internal world logic? Or the fact that it's DnD, not real life? Naaah who cares, we saw out-of-context tiktoks and a youtube video essay and a discord message from one singular writer with strange opinions on what constitutes a romance, surely we don't even have to 100% the game ourselves!

[The amount of times I've seen someone say "AA is abusive and tragic and can't love!" and then some variation of "I'd never/'ve never let him Ascend" is baffling. Or how they barely pay attention to what's happening... Like honey how do you have an opinion on a text you didn't even read (or pay 100% attention to)?? Please- 💀]

And, tbh the:

"this is a bad in-game choice & will lead him to suffering 100% because [idk, killing The Wrong pixels in a videogame] would be bad irl and [cites epitext] <3 it's the only right interpretation!"

is basically "the curtains are blue because the author felt like it!" except insisting upon itself by using fancy words, but I digress.

The fans: Ugh Sonic was just so preachy. I mean obviously he's supposed to be the good guy, so any uncomfortableness I feel here and any way I feel like Sonic's choices are framed as being why some other people have shitty lives is just bad writing because he is obviously supposed to be right always, but this characterization makes no sense. Isn't he right for the things he did?

Ian Flynn, using Kitsunami to say the (barely even at this point) quiet part even louder: Hey it's almost like ever since the Mr. Tinker event we've been purposely running with the critique of Sonic as being more selfish than he appears. Sonic is upholding a system of Eggman v Sonic that currently benefits him and shuts down talk of how to improve the current system because he likes his own personal enjoyment and he's attached enough to Eggman that he'd rather Eggman pretend to be a good person than be stuck in prison for life. He doesn't even quite practice what he preaches. We are trying to show that the current hero v villain system and Sonic's recklessness currently affects some people poorly and that Sonic isn't a perfect hero.

YOU are only making it worse for people who are neurodivergent, lgbtq, trans, and poc because YOU believe that anyone “different” should be exiled just because you’re too close minded to understand there are people who aren’t clones of everyone else.

Fandom culture is built on being different and weird and just being unapologetically yourself, and people like you who are trying to change that and ruin everything fun for everyone is the exact opposite of what we do.

Guys I need to rant abt this soo

Guys I’m scared that my friend has a crush on me ☹️ idk what to do

She constantly sends me TikTok’s of couples kissing as a trend or some and says that we should do that. She says in a joke but like. I’ve gone out of my way before to bring up in conversation that I don’t like the idea of dating yet and that i feel immature for things like that. All she would say in response is things like “that’s okay, that’s even better”. Like huh 😭

That’s not all either. She’s extremely clingy to me, things like cuddling with me, kissing my hand or arm or stuff, picking me up, holding my waist, etc. I really couldn’t care but it’s like excessive. Like I don’t see her doing this so anyone else.

Once like a year or so ago I was with our old group of friends playing two truths and a lie. Of of her “lies” was that she used to have a crush on me. I ignored it since she said it was the lie but later when we were planning a guessing game she said that whoever guesses correctly gets to learn a secret about how one of her “lies” technically wasn’t a lie. My sister one and she told me to completely leave the room and walk around. It was really strange but I brushed it off. B7 idk if I can ignore it anymore.

Multiple times, like almost once a week. She well say something out of place or weird. Like she’s sad that’s there’s “something she wants to tell me but cant because it would ruin our friendship”. Like literally a couple minutes ago she sent me a video that was like “99 reasons why I love my best friend, 1 reason why I can’t” and the last reason was “I’m a girl”. Like wtf is that supposed to mean 😭. I jokingly asked her “is there something you wanna tell me” and she said “there’s a lot I want to tell you”. 😭

See normally I would just confront her and ask but i genuinely do not want a romantic relationship at all right now. Not bc im under the ace spectrum (or atleast i don’t think i am) I just feel immature for a relationship and it just scares me. And the thing is if this does split us up, i would rather keep it to myself then ask her. Bc she has extremely bad depression and i know if we stop being friends she could potentially hurt herself badly or just try off herself completely. That sounds dramatic but its nots. Im just scared and confused. I dont know what to do so I feel like the best option is just to ignore it and try to pretend I dont know but I really dont want it to feel like im leading her on. But if I’m being completely honest it’s slightly uncomfortable knowing she might like me in that way.

This isn’t really asking for advice, I just wanna put this out there for myself. I really have no one to talk about this to so yeah.

I find it so painfully heartbreaking that Solomon just...laughs off all the derision, the name-calling, and possibly even did "evil" things on purpose because it's expected of him at this point. (He had not always been like this as Thirteen pointed out before). There was a time when he was "innocent". When his soul sparkled. When it resembled the kind of soul everyone in these god forsaken (pun intended with spite) three realms seemed to associate with the ever loved MC. He's just...worryingly carefree. And because he's like that, he feels even more of a tragic character to me.

Sometimes it even seems that he himself would seemingly make up excuses on why he's hated. Oh, it's because I'm a sorcerer this. I might have won a war against Devildom single-handedly this. I have forgotten. But maybe, I did something bad, that. Hon, you were doing that to SURVIVE. You don't have to be a faultless person to deserve compassion. You don't have to be MC to deserve to be loved.

I just feel like I am slowly dying. I can't even describe it. The pain, the nausea, the fatigue...everything. My body is suffering and I can't fix it. There is no cure for anything I have it's just trying to manage the symptoms. Trying to find doctors that listen. Trying everything they suggest. And I am still trying to talk to them about getting exploratories done. I just want answers. I am exhausted. I am in pain. I feel as if I am slowly dying.

This comes off as dramatic probably but it is truly how I feel. I am losing my mind. And this doesn't even touch the surface of my symptoms, just the most prominent ones.

I have finally wasted my time on the Live Action. What the actual fuck has everyone here been on to compliment Snotlout this movie does him so fucking dirty????

Maybe I don't follow other fandoms as much as I follow Kuroshitsuji fandom and maybe it's just me but why is this fandom so toxic? Why is this fandom so fixated on their theories and assumptions so much to the point where they try to shove their opinions as facts down to other people's throats even though it's definitely not canon? Reading the manga and interpreting everything in your own way and coming up with theories and sharing them is wonderful. Nobody's stopping anybody from doing that and many theories are quite helpful and gives every readers a broader perspective. I definitely appreciate the people who works so hard to put 2 and 2 together and realized that there are twins even before it was officially revealed. We need that type of intelligent and observant people in every fandom since it provides so much insight and knowledge.

But then there are those who try to spread misinformation and assumptions as real facts and others are just eating it all without being bothered to do their own research. And I could give so many examples. Starting from how Yana said that Kuro is supposed to be yaoi but that won't sell much, then how SebaCiel or Lizzy x Ciel or Sullivan x Ciel ship is canon, then how Sebastian took Vincent's looks so that Ciel trusts him more (despite Yana clearly addressing the "same face syndrome"), then how OCiel hates Lizzie and is just keeping up with her just because he's forced to even though it's him who decided to play the fiance part (I'm pretty sure that if he refused to carry it out after coming back from that hellhole, even whilst pretending to be Ciel, then maybe nobody would be actually forcing him to do that), then how everybody hated OCiel for being sick and only loved Real Ciel, then how Real Ciel was evil even before dying or how he's so bad with servants even though none of those servants were his (except Tanaka) and the only thing he told them was to shut up or lower their voice in front of the master of the house. That's just it. Also where did he treat Sebastian badly, not like I would have cared anyway but the question still remains? He just asked him that how dare he play with his dead body and disrespect him. Who wouldn't even ask that if they came back from the dead? Who would be even as calm and collected as Ciel? Most would be quite angry and lose their shit if they are standing in front of a being that disrespected their dead body.

The yaoi part isn't even a theory but a rather lame rumor and I would say that all these other ones are also quite bad takes and barely theories. You need to provide some solid evidence and connections in order to make a valid, well thought-out theory and none of these rumors/theories have that to suggest anything (Theories about the ships and relations can make sense and can be entertaining then Real Ciel being evil or at least being related to the manor attack is the only well thought-out theory here but again, I have no intention of talking shit about good/average/bad/ridiculous theories here and theories can be good or bad, but I'm just talking about those who claim certain things as facts and not just theories but don't even have evidence to back that up). Many just read certain theories, take their favorite parts from a certain theory, run with it and pretend as if they themselves came up with that shit and treat that as facts. How delusional. Also, what a shame that it's been years yet people still believe these liars and these liars are still spreading such misinformation and still clinging on to their delusions despite others proving them wrong over and over.
