I wish there was an IF that truly dives in to the mental issues yknow? Like a lot of the game is just exploring how fucked up in the head you are to how much more you can become and how it has changed.

Oh yeah that’s definitely there. But it’s more in the present. Because in the past we know mc’s issues only got worse right? Right now in game their mental health is deteriorating to the point where they keep thinking they can’t stop it and will be sent back to the asylum. But mc is changing aren’t they? Their development has begun with getting to know who they are and making decisions (dangerous ones) but their own. They’re trying to move past the infantilization given to mental ill people.

Ironically as their personhood becomes stronger I feel like their mental health will become worse 😭 but progress in that too is there with their hobbies, they are trying to help themself and take care of others (the victims) instead of being taken cared of

Secrets of the Silent Stars: BOOKS 1 AND 2

Hello! I’ve decided to split part 1 and 2 of ‘Secrets’ into their own books. This way I can break up the story better and, if I someday decide to, add to it if I choose.

Part 1 is now marked as complete and is fifth year canon-compliant, switching dual POV between Elsie and Sebastian. It includes game events and some of Elsie’s background.

Part 2 is a sixth year story picking up after the game ends. It is switching dual POV between Elsie and Sebastian and can be read as a standalone if you wish to skip most of the game events.

Not Lorcan comparing MC with Achilles and then choosing the Greek side just because is the side Achilles is on, that's so cute (I'm being completely delusional here, I know it's not because of that, but because of Lorcan's ignorance on Classic Literature).

On the other hand, while I do understand to some extent the comparison, I'm not sure how accurate it is. For instance, MC can be very strong and violent, but it's not necessarily on purpose nor is MC naturally predisposed (at least in game) to ire. That said, I would understand him becoming blind by rage if anyone touched the RO MC is in love with, although only after we get far on the character development.

If anything, I would say a more accurate comparison would be Ajax, I guess. Not completely, as MC is not crazy, only has episodes, but I suppose is something open to debate. And ultimately irrelevant, as the plot of the IF has no connection with Greek nor Roman myth (of does it?).

That’s the thing though how does Lorcan know it’s not on purpose? This is assuming he believes when mc says they don’t remember when they hurt people. Given the hate he has for them I’d say he doesn’t believe they haven’t been cruel on purpose. He knows about the slap they gave to Orla. Orla believed it was on purpose and so why should he doubt it? From his pov mc does seem inclined to ire against anyone at the drop of a hat. Also add to that the choices where mc can get angry (although justified) adds to the credence that anger is very natural for them

Remember if you the reader don’t know much about what is true with mc it’s worse with the ROs especially Lorcan who has a strong bias to think the worst of mc

In an alternate universe, Raegan is a princess rebelling against an oppressive nation and Sebastian is a knight fighting for the other side — until he’s won over by the enemy’s courageous ruler and swears an oath of fealty 😭 (have I been watching too much game of thrones? perhaps)

Actors AU: A question; how are Anecdotes produced? Are they made by the actors with help, or something else entirely, do you think? ^-^

Hmmm, anecdotes were made by other people, actually. In the beginning, when people got curious about characters and such, they made fanmade anecdotes (like fanfics or comics about characters)

The actors and producers got interested in the idea and made a separate team for that. It's not a film or something of the sort, it's most likely a couple short films uploaded on YouTube separately.

They might be different from the anecdotes we know, a 20-40 minute (depends on what it is about and what's there to tell) film that shows more about the character in questions.

Almost like indie films, but of course they do get backed up with a selected budget for each movie and the contribution of the real actors and actresses.

Okay, I was supposed to wait to post this until tomorrow to spread out my posts a little, but I’m just too excited to be done with this little monstrosity. 

I’ve been wanting to draw this dumb modern college AU comic ever since @ethniee posted her adorable drawing of our (hers, mine, and @dwightschrute11’s) trio in height order. Lyssa is 5’5” and therefore not that short, but she is a lil short compared to Cal (5'7") and Inger (5'8").
