Can I just tell you that the Rose Drops fic was absolutely life changing? I'm being so honest right now, I felt so many emotions reading it. I loved Blizzard Bedfellows too. I love all of your works and I really hope you continue writing! I'm not kidding, you've literally written a novel and multiple novellas. I admire you so much and I cant wait to see what you write next!!

Honestly, the main reason im having trouble writing these days is because of a huge lack of this; just people interacting with me about things! Espeically my works. I always love to talk to other Sonic fans and hear what people have to say. Interaction is the lifeblood of fando!

Its also what makes me want to make stories; having other people I want to tell those stories to, instead of just keeping them to myself.

(I know that a lot of people are silent fans of things...but its like talking into the void after a while. Its difficult to find a reason to put things out there publicly, if I rarely hear anything back and people dont even talk to me, y'know?)

Messages like yours are really special to me, and I love hearing how my work makes people feel. (And I enjoy people's tears the most, especially when it comes to Rose Drops lol)

Thank you so much!! I feel like I'm always saying this, but I am so sorry for the slow response! Life's just been nuts. 🤪 When I first entered the ship I would say I definitely admired Tirainy, Supafroot, and greenhillsblueskies. They were some of the first that got me into the fandom and Magicstorm too but I think she took her fics down. Since then many others wow me! I may be bias but I feel like we seriously have some amazing writers in this ship! I can't possibly list them all. This post would be super long and I know I'd leave someone out and feel awful, but a few off the top of my head are but_why_not, YeOldeThotticus, Omg_a_Knife, noseble_ed, Imaginaria, realperson022, and honchkroww. Again, there's so many more.... I think the sonadow tag on ao3 has over 7k works now? We FEAST

I'm pretty sure she was made in 2011...hence her bullshittingly high stats. Names: Scar Scar, Scarclaw, Scarstar Age: Too fucking old. Considering she was resurrected 3 times she could be...hell, 500+ moons old. This is the reasoning behind the high constitution. Mate: Darkblaze Kits: Sunmist, Metalfire, Stonepelt, Magicstorm, Longtail...and I believe Sunmist and Metalfire were of the first litter. Her backstory is like...thrown from the clan as a kit for being too weak and "puny" Flower chanced upon her and raised her, naming her Scar Scar for her unique mew, "Scaw Scaw" The two lived in a barn, Flower died of old age. Scarstar wandered alone, stumbled upon the clan, proved herself. Deputy retired, she took his place Saw the leader being a dick and he always has been so she killed him. She was made leader Giant fire, only survivor That's when the rp started. In the rp, by the players and the characters, she was well respected. She combined her clan with another (which was actually already made so this was completely unplanned) and placed herself as the leader. She ruled with an iron fist, and demanded respect and obedience. And, despite that childhood stupidity, I fucking love her

Even if it's been done a million times over, I want to see your take on it. Even if it's similar to others, I want to see your take on it.

'everything's been done' there's that, yeah. But. Have you yourself done everything there is to be done? Art is to be enjoyed, a passion in creating, just because other people have done it before DOESNT mean you can't do it now too. You ARENT locked out of the creative space just because someone did it before you did. Every song is a remix of words, every word is a remix of letters, strokes and characters. Plus, you can revisit and build off of your older ideas, too. It's never too late to go back and do stuff.

I really appreciate this and its true! I realize I wasn't SUPER specific when I said "its been done before" with Sonadow stuff.

Its not so much that I feel like I can't do it because someone did the idea first, or that my version of things isn't worth telling.

It's more like I've seen it done so many times that I really don't feel inspired to contribute, if that makes sense? There's nothing I want to play with.

(I think the only idea ive had were the host club thing but thats got no legs on it, really. Like I have no driving plot point that I can write about with it.)

Okay so...

Urban Dictionary has a well-worded definition (Dont mind the Sonic shimeji in the corner, he's just chilling)

(To be specific its usually a bulb at the base of the penis rather than the whole length of it.) I have no idea if hedgehogs do this, but, when it comes to anthros you can kinda play fast and loose with it. Like when some writers make mobians have heat cycles.

Its something I see a lot in fics, especially with themes like Omegaverse(abo), anthros/furries, and human-like characters that just have canine traits.

Tldr; I'm giving Silver this ability.

If you played/watched gameplay of Sonic Frontiers, what did you think about it? :3

Not gonna lie I....h-havent finished it yet I just got to the second Island with Knuckles *-sob-* i need to pick it back up.

But what do I think? I LOVE it. Its absolutely wonderful. Im not really a huge gamer buff type of person so i cant give like, a really detailed/informed review of the mechanics and gameplay loop so bear with me lol.

I will say it makes me feel so....idk how to explain it. I love RUNNING. I love the open space, the grass, the rain, it feels like I'm outside without a care. The game lets you just. Be free. I love open world stuff and BOTW was probably my favorite game and Sonic captures everything i love about open world just like BOTW did.

I think the story is fairly interesting so far (i have the frontiers tag blocked until i finish it, so i dont know much) and i think Sonic and the other's feel veey much like themselves. Amy's interactions with Sonic are something I always scrutinize because of how she was used in the past (gets war flashbacks) and i really like them here. Amy is her own person, and if she likes Sonic doesn't matter or not in their friendship. She's still a girl who's about protecting others and the power of love, but she's also mature and upstanding.

I think the stuff with Sage and Eggman is interesting in and of itself too. But i havent gotten far enough to see what that's all about.

Also i love just the open world puzzles you can use to get around. Theyre very fun and its just you figuring out how stuff works. (I really appreciate Sonic's little chuckles and grunts anytime you repeatedly hit against a surface. Hes having fun. I tended to do that a lot in when i got stuck on geometry or failed at a wall jump and his little laughs made me less frustrated lol)

The combat is super fun and i love how it feels to hit enemies in combos. And getting new combos! Its also nice that the classic sonic running levels are included in the game in a portal type way. They're still there and required for gameplay, and it feels like they wanted to include both tradtional sonic gameplay and open world experimental stuff. Im actually really terrible at the classic 'running/platforming' format Sonic has to be honest. But im glad its included and made part of the game to progress. Its an integral part of Sonic games after all.

Overall i really like the game and i desperately need to get back to it haha
